		But let's just dive into the show today because, yes, there is a lot cooking and it was a long weekend.
		So we're going to catch up on things.
		The theme, I think, really on today's show is it's not just that the Democrats are in trouble with.
		And that, as I've been saying, what is the thing we should be pointing to?
		Well, it is that success will be Trump and MAGA's best revenge, right?
		That's the easy part.
		But that what you always want to watch out for is how the machine runs cover for all of the bad people.
		And today's show really is just a jammed, packed example.
		After example of how the machine runs cover.
		So let's start with a headline from NBC.
		Look at this, and I think this will set us up nicely today.
		Obama world loses its shine in a changing, hurting Democratic Party.
		Obama White House and campaign alumni have been setting the course of the Democratic Party for years.
		After 2024, more Democrats want to see that change.
		Now, this is incredibly interesting.
		I'm sure all of you basically remember when Barack Obama came in with hope and change and rainbows and unicorns and everything else, and they gave him the freaking Nobel Peace Prize before he literally did.
		And then the guy came in and basically governed like a giant government Democrat.
		That's Obamacare.
		But then ushering in all of the sort of neo-racism.
		It was before we called woke woke.
		He really was the prime mover on so much of the stuff that we now see that the progressive movement has embraced.
		It has infiltrated all of our schools, all of those things.
		And for the last couple years, because we had this guy whose brain was pudding, basically, in the White House, and we were being governed by Autopen, and we still don't know who all the players were in that, and I do suspect we'll find out a bit more of that as the years go by.
		it'll drip and drab out.
		The question really Which way are they going to go?
		And you know my feeling on this.
		If you're a moderate Dem, like a Tulsi, like an RFK, like a Dave Rubin, like a Bill Maher, etc., etc., you have far more in common with a conservative, even a traditional religious conservative, than you do with anyone on the left.
		That's just how it is.
		Remember when I sat down with Bill Maher years ago, and I just nailed it with him.
		I said, tell me which place you'd be more welcome.
		would you be more welcome, Bill Maher, the standard bearer of liberalism for 30 years in America, would you be more welcome at an AOC rally or a Trump rally?
		And he knew that the answer was a Trump rally.
		That was two plus years before he ends up breaking bread with Donald Trump at the White House a couple months ago.
		So the Democrats don't know which way to go because there's very few moderates left.
		The bananas progressives and the Marxists and the BLM people and the Antifa people and the Hamas people, all of those people, all of these crazy competing interests, the queers for Palestine, all these things, they're all competing, but there's at least energy there.
		They seem to all be energy chasers.
		So where are they going to go?
		Well, they wanted, and Barack seemed to want to hand it to Kamala Harris, a woman who nobody liked, who nobody really thought was qualified, who was only brought in because of her skin color and her genitals, who was not particularly good when they hid her at first.
		People were like, where the hell is she?
		And then they got her out there, and then it got worse because they were like, oh God, she doesn't know what she's doing.
		Anyway, she's back on the circuit, and here she is.
	Basically, well, she's telling you what she has for breakfast, I think.

		I don't hear no until maybe the 10th time.
		I cannot tell you the many times that it has been explicitly or explicitly said to me.
		It's not your time.
		You're not ready.
		They're not, lady.

		It's not your time.
		It's not your time now.
		It wasn't your time a couple months ago, and it will not be your time in the future.
		I eat no for breakfast.
		Like, it's just meaningless.
		What has this woman accomplished?
		And the reason I'm showing you that clip, you might be, ah, I thought we were done with her.
		We're sick of her.
		Nobody cares about her.
		There's no real momentum.
		Well, first off, she is the presumptive nominee until someone else jumps in front of her, right?
		Because she was the loser, and that's what they do.
		So that's one part of it.
		But the other part of it is, this is a woman who accomplished absolutely nothing, but could jump.
		Just basically give you these meaningless platitudes.
		And that is the only thing the Democrats have other than the sheer lunacy.
		So let's get to the sheer lunacy.
		You guys know David Hogg, this little wafy kid.
		We've shown you a lot of videos of him lately.
		He was recently deposited We don't even have to get into that right now.
		And, you know, we've shown you a lot of videos where he's fighting with James Carville and it's like, they're just looking into, one's looking at the past.
		That's what he used to look like.
		James Carville's looking at him like, that's what I was 60 years ago.
		And Hogg's looking at Carville like, that's what I'm going to be in 60 years.
		It's very, very bizarre.
		Anyway, Hogg went on the Breakfast Club show.
		That's with Lenny.
		You guys know Lenny Charlemagne, the whatever now.
		I call him Lenny.
		And here he is explaining what the future of the Democrat Party should be, and I would say good luck with all of that.

		She is amazing.
		I think that people want to see somebody who fights and calls out the bulls**t, ultimately.
		I think that's what Jasmine does.
		And we need a hell of a lot more people that are out there that are willing to do just that and call people out on their PS and not say, oh my God, Republicans are going to criticize me for saying this.
		Screw that.
		They're going to criticize you no matter what.
		So what we should be asking ourselves is what are we really fighting for?
		Because we know it matters.
		And I think Jasmine is frankly the type of leader that we're really looking to support in some senses, right?
		somebody who is out there that frankly doesn't give a damn with the other size other side at least the elected republicans in congress say that say what they believe in and at least you know even if you don't agree with her you know what she stands for yeah because she makes it very clear and people are really craving that right now they don't want more politicians that say talking points that it doesn't even feel like they believe They want that authenticity.
dave rubin ▲ ● ▼		As someone that doesn't want the Democrat Party ever to come back, as someone that's been warning about this since around 2014, I really hope that the Democrats keep listening to this little kid and go with Jasmine Crockett and go with the crazies and everything else.
		Because although there is energy there and they do destroy a lot of stuff, And okay, yes, he's kind of right.
		Yeah, we don't want standard politicians anymore, but the idea that she stands for something or represents anything with her fake accent and her neo-racism and everything else, and also that you would take advice.
		So, okay, so you want your leaders of your party to be this kid, him, who's accomplished nothing.
		He did start a pillow company, by the way.
		He started a pillow company.
		Which immediately folded.
		That's his main claim to fame.
		And then you want it to be Jasmine Crockett, a woman who really is only known for fake eyelashes.
		But there's something else here that happens to these people.
		Can you put up the screenshot again?
		There he is with Lenny.
		How is it that this kid who's got to be, what, he's 20, 21 years old, something about the white shirt, the bad posture, the hair, the wafiness, even though no one rolls their sleeves up that high.
		That's not what you do.
		Look, let me show you something, kid.

		That's how you roll up a sleeve, right?
		That's how you look like a normal person with a rolled up sleeve.
		You don't, if I was walking around like this, it makes you, Look at me.

		Anywho, speaking of nothing kids, you guys know the mayor of His name is Brandon Johnson.
		How many people were shot in Chicago?
		Oh, I've got the numbers on the screen already.
		God, you guys are ahead of me.
		Jesus Christ.
		On Memorial Day weekend, which was May 23rd to 26th, just the last three days, nine people, at least nine people were killed and 41 others were wounded in shootings across Chicago, according to CBS Chicago.
		It's the deadliest Memorial Day since 2015.
		I mean, I wouldn't have even picked numbers that high.
		That's absolutely insane.
		So think about it, nine people You're not gonna hear any of their names.
		No one's gonna care.
		Mainstream won't cover it for a minute.
		You know why.
		Black people shot black people.
		Doesn't fit the narrative.
		We don't do that.
		But what we do do is install these ridiculous, well, not we.
		What blue cities and states do are install these ridiculous people who are racists, who are incompetent, hired only on their race, and they ruin the cities.
		Thus, you end up with nine people being shot in Chicago this weekend.
		So Brandon Johnson, the mayor of Chicago, he's suing Trump for something, something, something, something, something, something racism.

		When you think about Health and Human Services, unqualified.
		You know, look, the bottom line is this, is that the people of the city of Chicago elected me to speak to their interests.
		Here, look, this is my main goal as mayor of the city of Chicago.
		Is to build the safest, most affordable big city in America.
		And we're doing that.
		And the fact that, you know, this president's actions have demonstrated an incredible deal of hostility towards what's sensible about the evolution of our democracy.

		Okay, so you want to build the safest, most affordable city.
		That's what your number one priority is.
		Well, nine people were killed in your city, about 40 shot.
		I have Joseph working on the numbers right now.
		We're going to see if any other city in the United States had worse numbers than that, because...
		I'm going to guess no.
		Of course, the other thing he said is that no one in the administration is qualified.
		Yes, you're going to tell me Scott Besant isn't qualified.
		You're going to tell me that RFK isn't qualified, that Elon wasn't qualified to do Doge, that Marco Rubio, who has been the all-star of all-stars, wasn't qualified, that Pete Hegseth, that J.D. Vance, Lee Zeldin, Dr. Oz, like Linda McMahon.
		At the Department of Education, these people are not qualified.
		These people are overly qualified, and they're doing the government a favor.
		They're doing you a favor by taking these jobs.
		They could do other things.
		I've been to Dr. Oz's house.
		He has better things to do, I assure you.
		It's just incredible, the level of lying.
		He runs a city that is getting more black people shot than anywhere else while he's telling you that the administration is doing awful.
		There's no city.

		There's no city in America.
		So his number one thing is to have the safest city, and he has the least safest city.

		And that's why we're seeing the split that we're seeing in the country.
		That's why it's just fairly obvious.
		If you live in a place like New York or Chicago or Portland or Seattle or any of those places, like when you walk around, you see all the homeless and you smell all the weed and you know that, oh, when I was in Austin two weeks ago, oh, don't walk down that street when you're trying to get over to Terry Black's barbecue because it's a zombie apocalypse of fentanyl addicts, et cetera, et cetera, versus when you go to red cities and they're by and large safe and there's law and order and that allows businesses to come and that allows human flourishing and pursuing your dreams and building a home.
		So most of us see that, but the thing is, there is a media layer that confuses you about all of these things, right?
		Or maybe not you, but that confuses an awful lot of people about these things.
		One of the biggest lies that they have run with, and there are oh so many, we don't have to do the list right now, of course, is what happened for the previous four years with this ridiculous situation where every day we knew that Joe Biden was obviously not really in charge, that he obviously had cognitive problems.
		We found out he had other health problems, which if you didn't see our episode on Friday with Dr. Drew, Dr. Drew actually talked about how there could be a connection between the cancer diagnosis and what was going on with Biden cognitively.
		So there's just so many things there to talk about.
		Like there's such a stew of craziness.
		And again, the rats will come off the ship at some point.
		They can't.
		There's just too many people involved in the cover-up for this thing to hold forever.
		Many, many people will skate by and no one will pay the price.
		But we will find out more one way or another.
		Anyway, Jake Tapper, of course.
		Chris has this ridiculous book out.
		He was part of the cover-up, then writes a book about the cover-up.
		Probably got a million-dollar advance to do it.
		It's a pretty sweet gig if you can get it.
		So he's doing the media tour, and poor Jake.
		I have never seen someone do a book tour where they are just getting crushed.
		Every interview this guy does, basically everyone calls him a fraud and a phony and everything else.
		He has aged about 30 years during this book tour.
		It's only been for about two weeks.
		And the guy looks like he went from, I don't know, how old is he?
		How old is Jake Tapper?
		Maybe he's probably in his late 50s.
		He looks like he's in his early 70s now.
		And here he is.
		How old is he?
		He's 56. And yeah, he looks like he's about 70 now.
		And here he is explaining that there were two Joe Bidens, one that worked and one that didn't, as if we did not know this.
		Thank you for writing a book about the thing that we all knew, Jake.
jake tapper ▲ ● ▼		What seemed to happen, Jeffrey, is there were two Joe Bidens.
		There was the fine Joe Biden that we just saw in that clip right there.
		And then there was the non-functioning Biden that we saw during the debate.
		And the non-functioning Biden would rear his head increasingly and more and more disturbingly as time went on.

		What was happening in front of the scenes was much worse behind the scenes.
		They were propping up the best version of him through those times.

		That's Alex Thompson.
		He's the co-author.
		He's been on the book tour with Jake and he doesn't really chime in with much.
		He probably wrote most of the book.
		Jake probably didn't write it.
		But he checks in every now and again and it's like, oh, thank you.
		You mean it was worse than they were letting us know?
		It would have been interesting if you guys would have covered that.
		Perhaps.
		Like, oh, maybe there is something here.
		But now I want to show you, and this is really the key to the whole show, how is it that the Democrats get away with things?
		How is it that the machine always recalibrates in front of our eyes?
		Well, what they do is when they get caught, what do they do?
		It's a shell game, right?
		You're like, oh, wait a minute.
		The little marble is under that coconut, and they quickly move it, and then you don't know where it is.
		So watch the move here.
		So here you have Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, two purported journalists who wrote a book about the cover-up of Joe Biden's health thing, even though they had something to do with the cover-up themselves, and watch suddenly as they're on a book tour about Joe Biden saying, Is there a double standard with the way we are covering it?

		I'm so glad you asked this question, because while we didn't know that much about Joe Biden's health, we know even less about.
		About Donald Trump's health.
		He was completely untransparent during the 2023-2024 campaign.
		He has not been transparent since, and there is no mechanism forcing him or any future president to being transparent about their health.
		He could be on anything.
		We really have no idea.
		So I think it's a really vital question.

		So that's MSNBC, of course, and the host.
		I don't even know his name, but he's one of these Hamas-adjacent guys.
		And the fact that they make this about Donald Trump and then suddenly Alex Thompson wants there to be testing for the president and everything else.
		By the way, guys, if Donald Trump suddenly started repeating himself endlessly, suddenly didn't know where he was, suddenly started wandering off into the forest, Of course I would.
		Of course I would.
		Nobody wants the President of the United States to be incapacitated or to not know who the President of the United States is or anything else.
		But they're making the move right in front of our eyes.
		They're basically being like, we got caught red-handed, so instead of acknowledging that we had something to do with it, we will now take the catch, right?
		We will take the evidence and we will put that evidence on top of Donald Trump.
		And here's now Jake Tapper, another appearance.
		And what does he want?
		Well, suddenly he wants presidents to make their health public because, well, he got caught and, well, shit!
		Look over there!

		There is a call in this country in the United States.
		There is a need for legislation to mandate that American presidents provide all of their health information under threat of perjury because We can't have a group of unelected aides running the country if there's a 2 a.m. phone call.
		It needs to be the person that's elected.
		So this goes beyond Joe Biden.
		It should be relevant to Donald Trump and whoever comes after Donald Trump.
		I agree with that 100 percent.

		So all the stuff you ran cover for that their book is about, now you want it all applied to Donald Trump.
		Well, I would agree with you.
		The presidency shouldn't be run by a bunch of aides.
		And if there was a 2 a.m. phone call, let's try it this way, Jake.
		If there was a 2 a.m. phone call under the four years of Joe Biden, we all know the answer.
		There is literally zero chance, you know, I said literally, I'll give it a 1% chance that they would wake Joe Biden up and a Joe Biden at a...
		Do you know what it's like to wake up an 80-year-old man that obviously has cognitive dysfunction that now we know also is probably sick in other ways?
		And then, oh, well, we're going to need you to drop the bomb.
		Like, there's just no way it would.
		Now try to think about it the other way.
		Let's say tonight at 2:00 a.m.
		Donald Trump was woke up by one of his And they said, there's an absolute emergency.
		We need you to make a decision.
		Do you think there's any chance that Donald Trump wouldn't be able to wake up and make that decision and make it clearly?
		Like, we all know it.
		You can picture it.
		You don't need to analyze it.
		But the call is not that, look, I would be all for them having as transparent as possible medical records, right?
		They should all, we need to know that they are basically fit, that they don't have some horrific disease, that they aren't on medications that could affect them in other ways and all sorts of things.
		But really, the call is not about that.
		The call is for more transparency overall.
		It is a party, the Democrats, and a media machine, you guys, CNN, Jake, and all your friends, who completely ran cover for it, got rid of a primary process when you knew you had a dementia patient on the way in, who had a soft coup with Kamala, and you ran for all that.
		This is all on you guys.
		But again, what I'm trying to get you guys to see is the way the machine just figures out how to transform right in front of your eyes.
		And you're like, oh, I see it very well.
		And next thing you know, you're like, oh, it's all Donald Trump's fault.
		Let's jump back to August 2024.
		Here is Nancy Pelosi.
		So this is a little bit after, it's two months after the horrific debate that broke the airlock on what was going on with Biden.
		This is a little bit after they had now installed, without having a primary process, in the most backdoor, secret way possible, installed Kamala Harris.
		And here is Nancy Pelosi talking about how she influenced Biden to drop out.

		I think he's been really a fantastic president of the United States.
		So I really wanted him to make a decision of a better campaign because they were not facing the fact of what was happening.
		Just a little background.
		I've never been that impressed with his political operation.

		They won the White House.

		So my concern was, this ain't happening.
		And we have to make a decision for this to happen.

		Let me just say, I won't say necessarily I knew what I was doing at that time.
		I knew what I was doing in the whole thing, not just that shit.

		And you lost, and you've got to go away.
		And you know what you're going to have to do?

		You're going to have to spend more time with the children!

		But who are the Democrats running cover for this week?
		So there you have it.
		They admit what they're doing.
		They're doing things behind the scenes.
		She never acknowledges that Biden had cognitive problems.
		She just knew what she was doing and she didn't want to do it.
		It was that she mostly wasn't impressed with his political machine.
		It had nothing to do with the pooping in the pants or anything else like that.
		So who are they running cover for this week?
		Well, you know it.
		It still continues.
		We had this ridiculous story last week of former FBI Director James Comey, who's just wandering down the beach.
		He's just a private citizen wandering down the beach.
		And then he sees this beautiful art installation of a bunch of shells that say 8647.
		We all know that 86 means to get rid of.
		That's what it means if you've ever worked in a restaurant.
		And on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building, that's where the mafia guys used to take people to the observatory tower to throw them off.
		And if you fall 86 floors, Connor, what's going to happen to you?
		You're going to die.
		But James Comey, he's just an interesting private citizen interested in art and outdoor sand architecture.
		So he took a picture of it anyway.
		The media, of course, is running cover for him.
		So what happens when you get caught red-handed when you're a Democrat?
		You get on the late-night quote-unquote comedy shows.
		Here is Stephen Colbert with that guy.

		The commission president said the talks will begin rapidly.

		So that's a perfect example of, you can't really judge all this stuff or cry about it or laud it or anything else.

		And if I was giving a commencement address, I would talk about how great America is, that you have a chance to do whatever you want in your life, that we have this federalism thing, and you can move wherever you want, and we're on the verge of this AI revolution, and there's just incredible opportunity to blaze a path to the future, that it would be unimaginable by people 20 years ago, and all of that.
		There's so many cool things to talk about.
