| Some of his supporters, the base, might be annoyed that he didn't do some of those things and didn't drain the swamp the way he said. | ||
| But it's AOC and the Democrats and this administration and the Department of Justice that are actively trying to put him in jail now. | ||

| She also mentioned that he wants to round people up. | ||
| Yes, he has said he would round up illegals. | ||
| We have about 7 to 10 million illegal people in the country. | ||
| When you are here illegally, by default, by very definition of the word, you are breaking the law and you should not be here. | ||
| Now, we can have all sorts of discussions. | ||
| As I always say, what do we do? | ||
| About people who were born here. | ||
| What about what do we do about people who have been here for years and are paying taxes and are law abiding citizens and have jobs and have families? | ||
| We can have all of those discussions, but we can't have those discussions until we figure out who is here and at least get rid of the criminals. | ||

| But yes, this theme that AOC is pushing that Donald Trump will put people in jail. | ||
| By the way, that's not how the presidency works, right? | ||
| Like there are still I'd like to believe institutions that semi work and you can't just become president and start throwing everybody into jail, right? | ||
| I mean, even Biden and the corrupt Department of Justice and everything else, there's still mechanisms they're using to try to throw Trump in jail. | ||

| Anyway, I cannot believe they have brought this guy back. | ||

| What does Brian Stelter, Mr. Potato, who got fired from CNN for being completely awful at his job, right? | ||

| He gets fired from his job at CNN hosting a show called Reliable Sources because he was completely unreliable. | ||

| they are bringing him back on CNN. | ||
| So I don't know if he's a contributor now or what, but here he is with CNN's Abby Phillips. | ||
| And yes, he is also ramping up the thing around Trump who will jail his opponents. | ||
| It's valuable to think ahead to what may happen in a second Trump term. | ||
| This is frankly speculative non-fiction, because we use the words that Trump and his allies have said, and we use them to talk about the future. | ||
| Jail, of course, is an extreme part of the spectrum. | ||
| Imprisonment is an extreme part. | ||
| But think about IRS audits. | ||
| Think about government pressure on media companies. | ||
| Think about other forms of government interference. | ||
| There are a lot of pressure points. | ||
| And frankly, Rachel Maddow's not the only member of the media thinking about this. | ||
| I've talked to the heads of news organizations, CEOs of media companies that are thinking through, not in dramatic fashion, not because they're afraid of going to jail, but because they want to know, what could Trump do to use his power in a second term to punish the media? | ||

| The MSNBC primetime host told CNN Monday that she was worried about the country broadly if we put someone in power who is openly avowing that he plans to build camps to hold millions of people and to root out what he described in subhuman terms as the enemy from within. | ||
| Maddow added, For that matter, what convinces you that these massive | ||
| camps he's planning are only for migrants? | ||
| So yes, I'm worried about me, but only as much as I'm worried about all of us. | ||
| When Trump invokes the Insurrection Act to deploy the U.S. | ||
| military against civilians on his first day in office, do you think he then rescinds the order in a day or two? | ||

| You can give them a flip phone, you send them out, give them a flip phone so you can text them, they can text you, call if they need to, but you do not give a child the internet in their pocket where strangers can reach them and they can watch beheading videos. | ||

| Number two, no social media until 16. | ||
| The kids say this themselves. | ||
| 18-year-olds say this. | ||
| They wish that this didn't exist, but they're stuck, they're trapped on it. | ||

| Now, the school districts that have really embraced this, they've never done better in terms of what's happened with the classroom experience. | ||
| The students even admit it's better. | ||
| The teachers admitted better and the parents like it better. | ||
| So that has been huge to make sure that you have order in the classroom. | ||
