| And I just don't want you to think I'm being beaten or that, you know, they are coming to get me or anything like that. | ||

| The theme of the show today is a real connection. | ||
| It's a jump off of what we did yesterday, because I really, it was almost unintentional actually, but yesterday turned into, I think, a really consistently good news program. | ||
| I try to always end with good news, but we were just showing you that there are all of these signs right now of this new realignment happening. | ||
| The liberals that are waking up. | ||
| We're seeing communities that aren't traditionally voting for Republicans, let's say like the black community | ||
| that seem to, at least polling is pointing to the fact that they seem to be waking up, right? | ||
| That there's just like some good signs happening amidst a lot of craziness. | ||
| And then I didn't even know this until we were about three quarters of the way done | ||
| with the show yesterday, but at the same exact time, because at 11 a.m. Eastern over on ABC, | ||
| The View is on the same time that we're live streaming here, apparently Bill Maher, | ||
| who we threw a bunch of clips of up yesterday, because he's making the rounds, | ||
| he's got a new book out right now. | ||
| He was on The View yesterday. | ||
| So we're gonna follow up with a couple of clips of Bill from The View, because he just did a bang up job, | ||
| taking the true liberal position that many of you may not agree with, | ||
| but the true liberal position, and juxtaposing that with the sort of crazy | ||
| progressive position, which is what the ladies of The View had, and he did it right to their faces. | ||
| And then he also sat down with Megyn Kelly, who also kind of, I would say old school liberal, | ||
| but she's kind of made the move. | ||
| And she's publicly said that she's gonna support a vote for Trump this time around. | ||
| And I wanna show you how all of these Lego pieces that you don't know what the... | ||
| We have all these Lego pieces in front of you. | ||
| You don't know exactly what it is you're building, but we're starting to build something good. | ||
| I really, really believe that. | ||
| And I think if we just continue to do that, if we hold the line and then maybe go on offense when appropriate, We could win this thing. | ||
| Call me crazy, but I got whacked in the head, so who knows? | ||
| Anyway, why don't we start off with Bill Maher, who was on my friend Megyn Kelly's show yesterday, and they got into something that I had discussed with Bill about a year and a half ago on his Club Random podcast, talking about how, no, it's not just that Donald Trump was an election denier, but Democrats have been doing this for quite some time, including Hillary Clinton. | ||

| First of all, she came out before the sun had risen to concede the election to Trump. | ||

| Whether you're interpreting her disappointment at losing it as the same thing as Trump not conceding it, I don't know. | ||
| That's where you're getting it from. | ||
| But again, it's a tremendous false equivalency. | ||
| You could ask Hillary Clinton right now, who won that election? | ||
| She will tell you. | ||

| She came out that night in her dark purple suit and conceded the election. | ||

| And then spent the next four years trying to convince us it was not legitimate. | ||
| OK, the reason I'm showing you that clip is because this is something that I went through with Bill a year and a half ago on his show that we've shown you before. | ||
| We're going to show you in just a second. | ||
| And it's not exactly about Bill. | ||
| Bill's getting a lot of the big stuff right, but there are People like Bill that are still getting the small stuff as it pertains to an illegitimate president, where he's saying there he never sort of heard her say that. | ||
| Well, she did say it. | ||
| She did tweet it. | ||
| And then the media ran with that for four years. | ||
| For four years, they ran on Donald Trump is a Russian stooge and Putin installed him and WikiLeaks had something to do with it and everything else. | ||
| And this is where we're going to show you, Bill, if you're watching today, we're going to show you a bunch of clips of you knocking out of the park. | ||
| But this is one of the things I want to get you on the other side to. | ||
| This is from a year and a half ago. | ||
| You got to break up with your boyfriend, Donald Trump. | ||
| Who would you say is more authentic, him or Joe Biden? | ||
| Him. | ||
| Who's more authentic, him or Elizabeth Warren? | ||
| But authentic doesn't mean good. | ||
| If you're authentically a crazy person. | ||
| He was pretty good when he was president. | ||
| What was pretty good? | ||
| We weren't in a recession. | ||
| The border was a little bit better. | ||
| We didn't have a crazy war in Ukraine. | ||
| Like, there were things. | ||
| Come on, you have to admit. | ||
| He hasn't conceded the election. | ||
| For four years when he was president, Hillary Clinton, he's an illegitimate president. | ||
| She didn't say that? | ||
| Yes, she did. | ||
| I met him and I kind of was like, alright, he's not evil. | ||
| He's not Hitler and he's certainly not a homophobe. | ||
| I used to have these Trump rallies on Sundays. | ||
| And I was like, you know what, I'm gonna go and just see what it's like. | ||
| There were American flags everywhere. | ||
| There were gays for Trump, Latinos for Trump. | ||
| Really? | ||
| Yes. | ||
| Everywhere. | ||
| And nobody cared. | ||
| And by the way, they didn't burn down Rodeo Drive like Black Lives Matter. | ||
| And I'm telling you, you could have walked in that audience and people would have, yes, would a certain amount of people have been like, oh, fuck Bill Maher. | ||
| But you know what? | ||
| A lot of people would have been there like, You know what? | ||
| Bill Maher's here. | ||
| That's pretty cool. | ||
| Think how different that would be than if you went to an AOC rally, where you would be hated beyond imagination. | ||
| You're right. | ||
| I don't mean that as... No, it's right. | ||
| It's just true. | ||

| The left are more purist. | ||
| Okay, I'm genuinely not playing that to pat myself on the back, but I'm showing you something that I think you all know in your own relationships, whether it's with family members or friends or co-workers, colleagues, etc. | ||
| As people wake up to the craziness of the left and the lies of the media, it takes a little time. | ||
| So that's me a year and a half ago telling Bill about the Hillary illegitimate president thing, and he's still working his way through it because here it's Megyn Kelly just yesterday doing the same thing. | ||
| But yes, it is true. | ||
| Hillary spent four years, Hillary and the entire mainstream media, spent four years trying to make it seem that Donald Trump was installed by Putin. | ||
| That is just a fact. | ||
| Connor, do we have video evidence of that fact? | ||
| Maybe some sort of compilation video with fancy graphics and a little bit of music and stuff? | ||
| We do! | ||
| The system of democracy at its heart is the idea that the people get to decide how we are governed. | ||
| And if we no longer believe that our will is effectuated through the system, if bad actors tell us falsely that every election is stolen, Well, he certainly interfered in our election. | ||
| And it was clear he interfered to hurt me and to help my opponent. | ||
| Unprecedented interference. | ||
| I was on the way to winning. | ||
| We know that Putin was intent upon helping Trump. | ||
| That's no longer subject to debate. | ||
| The interference with the election. | ||
| Virginia just stopped using touchscreen computer voting because it's so vulnerable. | ||
| We need to look at all the voting machines. | ||
| Every Secretary of State needs to be, you know, assisted in making sure that they are not being hacked and attacked. | ||
| You can run the best campaign. | ||
| You can even become the nominee. | ||
| And you can have the election stolen from you. | ||
| He knows that he's an illegitimate president. | ||
| The election is stolen and that the only way an election is trustworthy is if they come out on top of it. | ||
| It tells you something not just about that person or that moment. | ||
| It maybe wounds us as a democracy and in a way that is hard to repair. | ||
| What do you think about how we get better? | ||
| After the wounds that have been inflicted on us through this process? | ||
| Well, I think, you know, the truth matters. | ||
| Oh, the meme makers of the internet. | ||
| You really can see when you watch something like that why a certain set of people, the same set of people from the mainstream media usually and from the government who lie to us about virtually everything, you really can see why they're kind of into internet censorship, right? | ||
| Like, they don't want those videos of all of their lies constantly I want to show you one other clip though of Bill on Megan's show because they started talking about the political spectrum and these are two people it is very obvious to me and I consider them both they are both friends of mine and good decent people and they want to live in the same world | ||
| They want to live in the same country. | ||
| And it's very obvious. | ||
| And the thing that divides them isn't that much. | ||
| And here they sort of address that they just have some differences, but it can kind of work. | ||

| Just the world's lost its mind, and I certainly would never put on somebody's team jersey anymore. | ||

| I mean, I would say I caucus with the Democrats more. | ||

I feel like you're kind of a four and I'm a six on the ideological scale. | |
| We have a lot of overlap, but you're definitely still going to vote Democrat and I'm definitely going to vote Republican. | ||
| But there's enough commonality to make us shigger heads yes when the other one speaks a lot. | ||
| All right, so that is the broad point when I'm talking about how to bring these people together, right? | ||
| And she's saying, I'm not really part of a team. | ||
| She's admitting, she has admitted it, and she admits it in an extended version of that clip, that she's voting for Donald Trump, right, this time around. | ||
| And he's saying, I loosely, I'm not on a team, but I caucus with the Dems. | ||
| Now, I'm still, I still want to get Bill there, but again I always say he's the avatar for this thing. | ||
| It's that you want his audience, the people that he's talking to, those are the ones you want to shift if he will | ||
| not shift. | ||
| But Megan says she is a six. | ||
| So if you have a spectrum, let's say the spectrum is zero to ten, and this doesn't mean better or worse or anything | ||
| else, but if the spectrum is sort of complete lefty and complete | ||
| righty, so zero is complete lefty and ten is a complete righty, | ||
| Megan's saying she's a six. | ||
| She leans a little more right, especially as it is right now. And Bill leans a little more left. | ||
| So to that extent, I would say I probably lean a little more right even than Megan at | ||
| So maybe I'm a 7, right? | ||
| Maybe Ben Shapiro is a 9, something like that. | ||
| 5 is center. | ||
| But the harpies on The View and the crazy people on MSNBC, they're 1s or 2s or even 0s. | ||
| And what I think we need to be doing right now is basically taking everybody that's like a 4 Let's get everybody that's something like a four to an eight and get them all together and that is the wide tent that I am always talking about because if Bill Maher and Megyn Kelly probably disagree a little bit on when the cutoff should be on abortion, they probably disagree a little bit | ||
| On some taxes stuff. | ||
| I think they're pretty aligned on foreign policy stuff. | ||
| But like, okay, there's basic agreement. | ||
| America is good. | ||
| Law and order. | ||
| Individual rights. | ||
| Let's believe in rationality and common sense and science and all of those things. | ||
| Then that is the tent that we've got to build and I am going to keep trying to build it with you. | ||

| As I said, Bill's got a new book coming out and he's making the rounds on some of these shows. | ||
| So he was in New York showing up at various studios doing his thing. | ||
| He was also on CNN here he is talking to Sonny Hostin and I just want you to note how when they put people that are on the left that are good sort of behaving lefties on how they laud them and they're so wonderful and they're so great so it could be Adam Schiff or it could be Kamala Harris or Joe Biden or Rachel Maddow they're just so wonderful and it's great and everything else and you can see it in the body language the warmth and everything else now you have Bill Maher | ||
| Bill Maher, who has been the standard bearer for liberalism and in many ways leftism until the woke went bananas in this last decade, but for decades that's what this guy has represented in America. | ||
| I want you to note the tone they all talk with him. | ||
| I want you to look at Sonny Huston's body language and the way they look at him and everything else. | ||
| Just because he is a lefty who hasn't gone completely bananas, here they are talking about the word woke. | ||
| I just the term woke has been in my view co-opted by the right and weaponized and bastardized. | ||
| And so I was surprised to hear you use the term because historically, as you know, because I think you're quite brilliant, that woke is a word used by the black community to note that we must be aware of social injustices. | ||
| But words migrate. | ||
| Why is that a bad thing? | ||
| It's not a bad thing, and originally that was absolutely a great thing. | ||
| Alert to injustice. | ||
| Who's not for that? | ||
| But words do migrate. | ||
| Now, I'll use any term you want. | ||

| Because maybe that is a word that's triggering, and so let's not use that word. | ||

| You can see the way Sunny Huston, the way she's touching her above her eyes, she can't even look at him as she's talking to him because she's an activist, not a journalist or whatever it is that she purports to be, right? | ||
| And she thinks that because he hasn't gone in, all in on that woke stuff, he is the enemy, | ||
| despite the fact that he ends up voting for the same people and everything else, right? | ||
| And Bill is like, you guys have gone crazy. | ||
| But the real interesting part of that segment there is that Bill responds as she's trying to tell you | ||
| the original definition of woke and it's been hijacked, is Bill says words migrate. | ||
| Think about the word liberal. | ||
| Every single one of those women think that they are liberal. | ||
| Liberal actually means that you believe in individual rights. | ||
| You believe in laissez-faire economics. | ||
| You believe in the light touch of government, right? | ||
| That's what true liberalism is. | ||
| Classical liberalism, right? | ||
| I think we've done this once or twice before on this show. | ||
| Those women are not liberals at all. | ||
| They are progressives. | ||
| They are far lefties. | ||
| They believe in the strength of the state to dictate to people how they should Live what they should believe, what they should be allowed to say, et cetera, et cetera. | ||
| And Bill, it is an honorable position, even if you think he is coming to the wrong conclusions when it gets to the ballot box, it is an honorable position to stand there and stick that flag down and say, no, I am still remaining liberal despite all of your nonsense. | ||
| And then here, I think you'll like this one. | ||
| Here he is explaining why some people support certain orange man. | ||
| I mean, a conservative once said to me, what you guys in the liberal side of it don't get about Donald Trump is we don't like him either. | ||
| It's just that in this country, it's binary. | ||
| I mean, gender may not be binary, but politics is. | ||
| You only get two choices. | ||
| And the stuff that they are afraid of, they see Donald Trump as a bulwark against, you know? | ||
| And that stuff is a lot closer to the home. | ||
| It's like, my kid is coming home from school, and they're not allowed to tell me if they're transitioning? | ||
| The school is going to take the side of the kid over the parent. | ||
| Stuff like that. | ||
| There is a lot of crazy stuff on the left. | ||
| I mean, this book, there's stuff that each side is going to like and probably stuff they're not going to like so much in there. | ||
| Because that's the answer to the Donald Trump situation. | ||
| What's going to get him elected is this woke stuff that a lot of people in this country just don't go for. | ||
| Yes, that is the truth. | ||
| And it's not the easiest thing to sit at that table with those harpies and say that. | ||
| And just think how incredible this is. | ||
| Here you have a lifelong atheist who is a lifelong bachelor who does not have children. | ||
| He's standing for the true liberal principles saying that you should not go after the kids and that's why people support Trump and the gender stuff and that's why people support Trump and then they later talked about the border and that's why people defend Trump. | ||
| He's the one defending the family. | ||
| The lifelong atheist bachelor with no kids is the is the liberal defending the family At the table with the progressive harpies. | ||
| That is rather extraordinary. | ||
| But if you want to see now, when I talked about that spectrum that Megan Kelly mentioned, right? | ||
| So Megan is, let's say, a 6. | ||
| She leans a little more right. | ||
| I'm probably a 7 or an 8, let's say, at this point. | ||
| Bill's maybe a 4. | ||
| So let's go to a 1 or a 2. | ||
| A one or two who's really sad that she's a one or two, or you should be, or I'm sad, I suppose, that she's a one or two is Joy Behar, because she was not insane ten years ago. | ||
| She has just drank the Kool-Aid and listened to this one. | ||
| And by the way out there, that hat that you keep wearing, that red hat that says, Make America Great Again, that tells people that you go along with this. | ||
| So you might as well just put a swastika on the hat. | ||
| Don't do that. | ||
| Because we say it anyway. | ||
| Well, I think some people resent the question. | ||
| Like, what don't you get? | ||
| Look, I'm not going to defend Donald Trump ever, but I would never say that we should put the swastika on the cap because I think you can hate Donald Trump. | ||
| You can't hate everybody who likes him. | ||
| It's half the country. | ||
| I don't want to live in that country. | ||
| I don't want to live in the country where I hate half the country and I don't hate half the country. | ||

| This is what the left has done. | ||
| They have made it by lying about Donald Trump and saying that he was a racist and saying that everyone that wears a MAGA hat in effect is wearing a swastika. | ||
| They have pushed people to places that they should not be. | ||
| Now, of course, the silver lining to that is they're starting to create this incredible coalition that I'm constantly talking about. | ||
| But Joy damn well knows He damn well knows that the MAGA hat does not mean anything having to do with racism or anything else. | ||
| It's what we showed you from the previous clip. | ||
| It represents a pushback of government overreach into the family, onto kids, all of the insanity of the border, what they've done with the economy, the foreign policy, all of those things. | ||
| That's why if you were to take A group, if you randomly, just like this, could magically have 20 Trump supporters from across the country appear in a room, they would have wildly different political beliefs on every little thing. | ||
| But they would all understand that the country is good, America is good, the Constitution is good, rule of law is good, etc, etc. | ||
| But this notion that Donald Trump is a racist and has something to do with Hitler has an awful lot to do with Joe Biden and the mainstream media. | ||
| because as you guys know, Joe Biden, when he was running for president the first time around, | ||
| his campaign launch video said that he was not intending to do it, right? | ||
| He didn't run when he was vice president and he could have run after Barack Obama had the two terms. | ||
| He didn't run because they moved in Hillary Clinton and he was not planning to run for president. | ||
| When he put out his video back in 2020 that he was running for president, | ||
| the entire thing was devoted to Charlottesville and the very fine people hoax. | ||
| And he said that he saw them out there and that Donald Trump said very fine people on both sides, blah, blah, blah. | ||
| And the entire effing thing was a hoax. | ||
| And the mainstream media should have taken Joe Biden out that very day. | ||
| They should have said, this is so easy to debunk and that they do not do it. | ||
| And dare I say, I'm probably the only person on mainstream media that has actually done it on live television. | ||
| I'm getting ready for the next Trump term already. | ||
| He says under his administration, his next one, schools will teach students to love their country, not to hate their country, like they're taught now. | ||
| I gotta say, this one doesn't bother me so much. | ||
| Because I think that, I mean, this is what I see when I see kids demonstrating these progressives, demonstrating for Hamas, the most illiberal people in the world, that, oh good, we're going to give America its comeuppance, asshole America. | ||
| This is, they kind of have been indoctrinated this way. | ||
| Vulnerabilities in the party, James. | ||
| The Democrats have a big split generationally on this issue. | ||
| The kids seem to be with the Palestinians. | ||
| And the older generation seems to be with Israel. | ||
| Well, the kids are with TikTok. | ||
| They're with whatever TikTok tells them to be for, basically. | ||

| But that's why Bill deserves credit for saying, first off, I think I've tried to help wake him up to some of the confusion around that. | ||
| That's one thing. | ||
| And I think more and more people are not buying mainstream media nonsense. | ||
| That certainly is true. | ||
| That's empirically true. | ||
| But the more you push on them, the more hysterical they get. | ||
| So we'll get to the hysterical stuff in just a second. | ||
