Senator Paul's Loyalty 00:14:39
Hello, everybody, and thank you for tuning in to the Liberty Report.
With us today, we have Daniel McAdams, our favorite co-host.
Daniel.
Good morning, Dr. Paul.
How are you this Monday?
Doing well, getting over a little bit of my laryngitis.
Somebody said, that's good.
We're tired of listening to you anyway.
But I'm going to do my best because I think the message is alive and well.
And that's what we're promoting.
But I'm going to talk a little bit more about political things.
We don't do that a whole lot, but it's just political positions.
Obviously, you have to talk about politics because it's the politicians that are undermining our Constitution.
So you have to bring that up.
And right now, there's two groups of even Republicans on foreign policy.
There's one group that says it's, you know, we should be non-interventionists and not start war and end wars.
That was a pretty clear statement.
And now they're saying, well, the people who vote that way, they're bad people.
So if the pronouncements in the campaign was that we're going to start less war and end bad wars, and then you always vote that way and vote against the spending for it, why should that person, like, no, everybody, it's not hard to guess who I'm talking about.
Yo, Thomas.
Thomas Massey is getting ripped off.
But the neat thing is, he has a problem.
The Democrats, not he, but the problems in the race is the Democrats can't find anybody to run against them, even though they're going to come up with a ton of money and they're going to and they're going to demagogue it.
And so the people who talk good but always wants to advance war and do nothing to lower the military budget and deal with the military-industrial complex.
So that's very clear where there's a division and a foreign policy.
The so-called peace treaty that just happened, there was a lot of optimism.
Oh, this is wonderful.
It's going to work.
I was hesitant to say that, but I'm all for any effort to try to bring about peace.
But the president is very much involved.
He has a position and he's probably more powerful than the Senate and the House put together because he can veto any bill he wants and he can pardon anybody he wants.
So there's a lot of power there.
Trump started his fundraising to support his position.
He's a pretty good fundraiser into the many millions of dollars.
And I don't think he's raising money for Thomas.
And that makes me sad because I think Thomas obviously is closer to the platform than some others.
But now the president is not just being polite and picking a candidate and say we're the good guys and go on, but he is now really hot under the collar about Thomas Massey.
And he's out raising money.
So what does he need?
He needs support.
So he needs a good, strong senator.
You know, if we're going to take on popular members of Congress who are voting against war, we need a real supporter of the non-interventionist foreign policy, of which was talked about in the campaign.
And guess what?
He came up with a name.
He's very well known.
He's capable of winning elections and raising funds.
His name is Lindsay Graham.
And that's going to be the solution to try to get rid of Thomas Massey.
So I think that's a sad story.
And I think that he comes up with the issue of throwing around terms.
Who are the rhinos?
Well, I'd like to think that the term doesn't make a lot of sense because I divide them up into people who believe in non-intervention and nonviolence and a real peaceful approach to political things and just follow the Constitution too and not ever even consider starting a war that has not been consented to by the people, which means that the House and the Senate should vote for a war before it's ever started.
Maybe a few of them would end a little sooner if it was done that way.
Yeah, we're not talking just about members and senators who were voting against war, but also voting against massive spending.
This is the whole reason that Trump was elected.
I'm the peace president, and I'm not going to spend all the money like Joe Biden did.
And what does he do as president?
He starts blowing up people out of the water.
He starts trying to do a regime change in Venezuela.
He bombs Iran and he starts attacking his allies, his former allies, I suppose, who are supporting him on this.
Now go to the first clip here.
This, honestly, Dr. Paul, this is not even a junior high-level rant on the part of President Trump.
And it's honestly hard to read this and believe.
And I had to double check it to believe that this person who wrote this is the President of the United States of America.
Now, I'll read it for you because it happens to be important, I think.
He said, whatever happened to, quote, Senator Rand Paul.
He was never great, but he went really bad.
I got him elected twice in the great state of Kentucky, but he just never votes positively for the Republican Party.
He's a nasty little guy, misspelled, much like, quote, Congressman Thomas Massey, aka Rand Paul Jr., also of Kentucky, which I won three times in a massive landslide.
A sick wacko who refuses to vote for our great Republican Party, MAGA, or American First, or America First.
It's really weird.
Now, there are a lot of things wrong.
You can just leave it up for a second.
There are a lot of things wrong with this, the first of which being that it's absolutely untrue in every way.
He did not get Senator Paul elected twice.
In 2010, he had nothing to do with the first senatorial, as you know very well, Dr. Paul, because you were actually the one involved.
You can just leave it up there.
You were the one involved.
In 2010, he did nothing.
No, no, just leave the first one.
Yeah.
You were involved in that.
So Trump had nothing to do with that.
And in 2016, Trump was running for president.
They were running against each other for president.
Trump certainly didn't help him then.
So absolute bold-faced lie.
Maybe he's forgotten that he had nothing to do with Senator Paul's election.
And by the way, it should be pointed out through all of these constant attacks on Senator Paul and Massey, but certainly Senator Paul, when the chips were down and President Trump was facing this Russia gate claims, a pack of lies, there was one person who steadfastly stood by President Trump, and that is Senator Rand Paul.
And we remember this.
He defended him against these charges that he's simply Putin's puppet.
And he not only defended them, but Senator Paul defended President Trump even to the detriment of Senator Paul's own reputation because they said, oh, you must be Putin's puppet too.
So he basically took the body blows for President Trump when the chips are down.
And this is how President Trump repays people.
I think it's disgusting.
It isn't very encouraging.
And it looks like it's going to last for a bit.
But it is so crucial when it comes to supporting people, you know, still being involved in shooting.
Yes, we had this effort at peace, and it doesn't seem to be working out very well.
But now there's bombing and killing.
And I noticed one thing that the Palestinians are suffering from starvation.
It has returned to obstruction from that too.
And that's the Israeli position.
But they'll have their description.
No, no, it was all Gaza.
They started it and they're at fault.
And there's always another excuse.
But what's going to happen eventually, though, is the president is a genius at gathering up support and getting people motivated.
And he did by using a lot of speeches and rhetoric that we say, yeah, yeah, that's it.
Cut the government out.
And then the efforts are superficial.
And you have to read between the lines and you have to look ahead what really happens.
So if we expected the budget to be cut, how much has been cut?
They've had six months to cut something.
Oh, they've saved billions and billions of dollars.
But right now, we don't even know because government has closed down.
So we don't know exactly the number, but I'll bet you this spending is going to continue, even though they're arguing that they shouldn't have to pay the people that were taken off the job because the government was closed down.
Big government, which is secret government, which is printing money and spending money, and it goes on.
And there was one article that said they're not even worried about that because a president, you know, if they so desire, they all of a sudden say weaken legislation by not enforcing it or enforcing stuff that they make up.
So it to me is a lot of things going on that's not very healthy for a republic.
Well, the thing about the attack on Senator Paul and Congressman Massey is that there's a punchline to this horrible, horrible, off-color joke.
And that is right when President Trump is attacking these two gentlemen, what does he decide to do?
Well, he decides to have his first fundraiser for another candidate of the election cycle.
And who does he support?
So Rand and Massey are rhinos.
They're not real Republicans.
Go to that Politico article.
Now we've got, there we go.
He's going to go on stage for Lindsey Graham.
Trump's first in-person fundraiser of the 2026 cycle will be for Lindsey Graham.
Now, go the back one because they got messed up.
His first appearance in the 26 season, a fundraiser to support the re-election bid of Lindsey Graham.
Trump, who largely has largely eschewed domestic travel this year, is scheduled to join the South Carolina Republican for a golf tournament in November, according to a person familiar with this.
So Senator Paul, Congressman Massey are anathema, but Lindsey Graham is the one who he believes is the America first MAGA.
It's unbelievable.
You know, that should be a strong message to where this is coming down on, because this is, if people are talking about a concise Republican Party believing in truly a Republican form of government and not the big spending, if they look at this, they would say, well, at least there's a question.
But there's a lot of emotion in politics and always has been because a lot of them that are joining, they say, well, that's the way this system works.
But I might need help from Trump.
And I don't need an opponent.
I don't need the Trump machine running against me.
So it's very, very intimidating.
And that's why there is a growing number of people who sort of cheer the people who are getting accused of things that they're not doing.
It reminds me a little bit about what the Democrats have done.
You know, the things that they were doing, you know, to the Trump position and others, they blame them on the things they, the Democrats, were doing.
And it turns out, and now they're blaming, in this case, in this little rhino war, the people making the biggest charges against Rand and Thomas are the ones that are doing it.
So, but that is a big hurdle go over.
All I can say, Daniel, is we have to do our best to understand the issue and tell them how it is and let the chips fall where they may.
And, you know, when you see what Thomas has done over his terms in office, it hasn't hurt him.
So the big question is, can one person come along and reverse the opinion of all the rest?
And it happens that way.
Once the government gets power and a president gets a lot of power and he's not really a president anymore, and you want to stay in Congress to do good and cut spending, you know, yeah, you can cut spending, but don't ever vote against anything.
I want.
Then the process deteriorates and it adds fuel to the fire and the confusion over the bankruptcy of this country.
Well, as bad as this is attacking these two fine gentlemen and going to bat for Lindsey Graham, hold your breath, Dr. Paul, it gets even worse.
Now, you mentioned Trump was desperately trying to find a Republican to run against Massey in the primaries.
He even got a bunch of out-of-state money, a couple million bucks, out-of-state money, to put someone up against Massey, but they couldn't find anyone.
Well, it looks like he's desperately trying to find one.
So is this MAGA?
Trump wants a Lindsey Graham donor to challenge, quote, rhino Massey.
The guy's name is Ed Galrain, and Trump is desperately trying to get him to run against Massey.
Go to the next clip.
Here's what Trump wrote on Friday night.
Third-rate Congressman Thomas Massey, a weak and pathetic rhino from the great Commonwealth of Kentucky, a place I love and won big six times, only six, must be thrown out of office ASAP.
I hope Ed gets into the race against Massey.
Endorsement War 00:04:57
Unlike lightweight Massey, a totally ineffective loser who has failed so badly.
Captain, all caps, by the way, Captain Ed Galrain is a winner who will not let you down.
Should he decide to challenge Massey?
Captain Ed Galrain has my complete and total endorsement.
Run, Ed, run.
I mean, Dr. Paul, reading this, does that look like it's written by the president of the United States of America?
It's so weird.
If I wanted to be modest in my criticism, you can't win on it and say, no, it's impossible.
He didn't do that.
Don't blame him for that.
You know, maybe that slipped by him.
Or others would say, nothing slips by the president.
And that's his language.
I mean, honestly, if I didn't know he was a teetotaler, I would wonder if he was up late at night, a couple of whiskeys, and then lets it all hang out.
I mean, it almost looks like that.
I don't know.
Maybe the hamburgers got to him.
But now, a couple more things about this.
So he's desperate for this Ed guy to run against Massey.
Go to the next one.
Now, this is very important.
Though he may be unpopular with a particular strain of MAGA Republicans who put pure obedience to Trump above principles like limited government physical responsibility and non-interventionist foreign policy and fidelity to the Constitution, Massey has built a large national following of people who think he represents the conservative ideal.
Of course, we happen to be a couple of those in this room.
Trump's launch of the anti-Massey PAC has spurred those followers to open their checkbooks, with Massey posting his best ever fundraising quarter, racking up $768,000 from July to September.
So good for him.
But here's the best.
Here is the real shot and chaser.
Thomas Massey looked into this Ed guy that Trump is desperately begging to run against him.
Go to the next one, and here's what he uncovered.
Well, look here, the hack Trump just endorsed to run against me is a Lindsey Graham donor.
So this guy is a donor to Lindsey Graham, and that's who he wants to get to run against Massey.
Now, Massey also put the next one up.
He also threw out some numbers that are important, Dr. Paul.
He said, did they show Trump these results?
So on May 21st, 2024, I ran for Congress and won, while Ed Galrain ran for state senate and lost.
Here are the votes in counties where our races overlapped.
In Shelby County, Massey got 4,053 votes.
Galrain got 2,276 votes, just over half of what Massey did.
And in Henry County, Massey got 1,262 votes.
Galrain, only 619.
So basically, in those two counties where they were both on the ticket, Massey got double the votes as this other guy.
So, I mean, Massey should pay attention to this, of course, but this just shows how desperate they are.
Yeah, it is a real challenge.
But I see these complex things that seem to contradict common sense and all the nonsense we have in economic policy and the stupidity that our foreign policy is run by both parties.
It represents a conclusion approaching rather quickly, and that is the admission that this country is totally bankrupt.
And they're floating us around, and they always have a solution-you know, a couple billion more.
And now they're talking about, well, the system isn't quite fair.
There's too many trillionaires now.
Well, they say, Yeah, that's that freedom business, too much freedom.
So we have to crack down on the little guy, and we should tax the little guy a little bit.
Why don't we just inflate?
We'll get our money back by stealing the wealth by devaluing their currency.
And they've been getting away with that.
But the people are waking up.
They know that they can measure it.
And they know that the middle class gets stuck, you know, with a higher tax, especially when it comes to inflation.
So it's something that has to be done.
And we have to invest, you know, get people to emphasize.
You know, I used it very many times because it's handy.
Article 1, Section 8.
It's so explicit.
This is what you're allowed to do.
And this is what you're not allowed to do.
And they did not mince any words.
And then they come along and say, well, all that's, you know, apply all that criticism we just read to a person that follows those things.
How about the 9th and the 10th Amendment?
I mean, how could they ever, if they understood that, how could they ever vote a nickel for the federal government running education or medical care and cure people of COVID and all that nonsense?
And the argument always is: the people are capable of doing it.
Netanyahu's Bragging Rights 00:02:57
We have to do it for it.
And there's always too many people who are going to go over the money.
Before you know, the rich will get richer.
And they've created a system that is designed where the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.
And boy, some of the statistics on this government education, I mean, the results are atrocious.
Somebody says, yeah, Ron, but it might be good for your homeschooling group.
Yeah, maybe that's true.
Well, the second thing we're looking at today after this politics stuff, which is important and interesting, is the ceasefire.
And you alluded to it in your opening statement that it is very shaky.
People were yelling at those of us who are skeptics, why aren't you cheering this deal?
Well, because we're living on planet reality.
So over the weekend, if you go to that next one, we're going to skip a couple and move ahead a little bit.
Israel launches a wave of heavy airstrikes across Gaza, killing at least 45.
Israeli military launched heavy airstrikes on Sunday at Gaza, killing at least 45 civilians, the deadliest day since the ceasefire went into effect.
The IDF stepped up its attacks on Gaza after alleging that its troops were attacked by Palestinian militants in Rafah, southern Gaza.
Although some reports indicate an explosion was caused by an Israeli vehicle running over an unexploded bomb, i.e. the stuff that they dropped there, a lot of them didn't go.
Well, here is Netanyahu bragging.
If you go to the next one, he is bragging about resuming his attacks.
Israeli forces dropped 153 tons of bombs on Gaza in response to what it says was a ceasefire breach by the Palestinian group Hamas.
Prime Minister Netanyahu tells Parliament.
So he goes into Parliament and brags about dropping 153 tons of bombs.
Dr. Paul, where did you think he got those bombs?
He got them from us, from hardworking Americans.
But here's the thing.
Ryan Graham of Dropsight News looked into it, and it's actually not what he claims.
Go to that next one.
Soon after the explosion in Rafah, I'm told by a source familiar that the White House and Pentagon knew that the incident was caused by an Israeli bulldozer, Israeli settler bulldozer running over unexploded ordnance, contradicting Netanyahu's claim that Hamas had popped up from tunnels.
After Netanyahu said he was blocking all aid from entering Gaza in response and unleashed a bombing campaign, the administration conveyed to Israel that they know what happened.
Netanyahu then announced that he would reopen the crossings.
So this is actually one time, and maybe it's Trump's ego, Dr. Paul, but we'll take it, that the Trump administration said, hey, Bibi, we know what's going on.
You're using this as a pretext to bomb them again.
Trump's Ego Triumphs 00:04:30
We're not having it.
I want my big, beautiful peace, so you better back down.
And they did right away.
I hope Trump takes the right lesson from this.
Tell them to back down, and they will.
You know, there's a strong move on trying to set the stage where one side wins over the other.
And that's called abuse of the First Amendment.
You know, whether, you know, what the administration wants to do, more registration before you even can listen or ask questions.
And they want to guide that.
It is.
It's their control of the opinion of the people.
And it takes a long time.
Once they argue something and they believe it's true, it's hard to erase it.
It's easier to implant a bad idea.
Say, oh, that sounds right to me.
That's who's at fault.
But then when you look at it more like you just did on this issue, you find out that there's a different answer to it.
So people have to be cautious.
But you know what?
It's almost impossible at times to really figure out who fired the first shot and who's really guilty.
But I don't think it's real hard to, if you go just back a step, who's morally responsible for the continuation or either starting it.
And I say it's the American people.
What?
The American people?
Yeah.
Well, they neglect their Congress.
Congressman said, we're strong for national defense.
We'll vote.
We never voted against a national defense.
Well, you know, you don't vote for defense.
What are they defending?
How many times have we stopped an invasion of this country because we had a lot of super aircraft and nuclear subs and nuclear aircraft carrier?
It's just a force, but they will do this.
They will play on that.
And then they want to control and monopolize on how they can manipulate public opinion.
So, well, I think, though, it's not as bad as I describe it right now because the internet has offered an outlet for some of us that like to express something that we think is much closer to telling the truth.
And I think those numbers are growing.
And also, what helps me a little bit to accept it is you don't have to wait till we have converted 51%.
We need about 15% of leaders in it.
I mean, if you had 15% of all the journalists of the country, I mean, it would be different.
Now it's down about 5% are left that are really reporting on us on their reporting.
Well, I'm going to close out, Dr. Paul.
We've got our friend Matt Kibben next door ready to put you in one of his movies, so we don't want to keep him waiting over there.
But I want to thank everyone who tuned into the show today.
And please hit that like button, share the show with your friends, subscribe to our channel wherever you're watching it.
And we look forward to seeing you on the Liberty Report again soon.
Over to you, Dr. Paul.
Very good.
I want to thank all our viewers for tuning in today and listening to our twist on the news because sometimes we believe that you don't hear all of what's really going on.
It's not that we have an access and a monopoly understanding on truth, but I think the biggest thing is where are you heading?
Where is MAGA heading?
And which direction are we going in?
Are we going to more government or less government?
More liberty or less government.
And it's there and you can tell.
It is not that difficult in a mess.
People all agree there's a mess, but they say, what can you do about it?
It's too big.
I say, it's not complicated at all.
The founders gave us a few hints.
You know, we're not supposed to run a government like criminals on the street.
We're not, the government realizes they enforce individuals can't go out, lie, cheat, steal, and kill.
So the rules are pretty strict.
You're not supposed to do that in government.
But the more you read about assassinations and other things going on and what the CIA is up to, I'll tell you what, we have to look everywhere.
But the principle remains the same.
We should follow a natural law where instincts tell us that we should not lie, we should not steal, we should not kill.
And that, to me, would be a long way to solving our problems.
And that would also mean that you couldn't have fiat money and dump that on the poor people and pretend we're taking care of them.
Thank you very much for tuning in today to the Liberty Report.
