Biden's Hunter Pardon Is All About Ukraine

Joe Biden's pardon of his son Hunter is the most sweeping Presidential pardon since Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon. It represents the deep corruption and contempt for the rule of law that has characterized the Biden presidency. But it is also important for another reason: the pardon is an attempt to erase the Biden family involvement with Ukraine from the time of the 2014 coup through the millions that passed into family accounts. Our current state of near WWIII is directly tied to the Biden family seeking personal riches in Ukraine.

A Problem With Republicans 00:11:04
Hello, everybody, and thank you for tuning in to the Liberty Report.
With us today, we have Daniel McAdams, our co-host.
Daniel, good to see you this morning.
Good morning, Dr. Paul.
How are you this morning?
Doing well.
Recovering from a big weekend.
We had a few visitors at our house.
I saw the pictures.
It looked like a lot of fun.
I bet it was kind of loud.
It was noisy.
And I had to do all the dishes.
Oh, no.
Yeah, for sure.
That was a beautiful picture.
And I saw you and Rand out there under the Liberty Tree.
Yeah.
That was nice.
That was.
And, you know, we've used the Liberty Tree before, but I sort of like that one because we always try to get the whole tree in, which is not easy to get the people to show.
But this, I've been sort of concentrating on the magnificent of the root system and the trunk of the tree.
Anyway, that doesn't solve any problem to the world, but it pacifies us as we talk about a problem.
Absolutely.
We're going to talk about a problem.
It has been known for a while.
I bet you maybe we might have been one of the very first ones saying, hey, there's something fishy going on back in 2014.
How bad is it going to get?
But it doesn't smell good.
And, of course, that was the coup that was pulled off to start the war in Ukraine.
And it's ongoing.
And to this day, the most annoying thing about that whole thing, still incessantly, is when Russia invaded Ukraine, they never talk about the NATO.
It really was NATO that had committed a coup and revealed lies and the misinformation the West and NATO and the United States had used to pacify, at least to mislead the Ukrainians.
But anyway, that's all now old, but something happened that there's a new sheriff in court in charge right now.
And even though a lot of this was dug out, you know, over the years, over these last four years, I think a lot of people aren't, oh, I'm shocked.
I couldn't believe it would be this bad.
Well, since I have a cynical streak in me, yes, I think so.
And there'll probably be more things found over the years.
Who really benefited about it?
How many people had their hands out?
How many bad things have been created by this?
But anyway, the article in Zero Hedge that we looked at is the title, Corrupt to the Core, Dems in Disarray Over How to Pardon as a Rule of Law Narrative employees.
Oh, this is all just about a minor infraction of drug laws.
We probably went in and voted for those laws.
And then the IRS, well, I don't like the IRS either.
Maybe he's been treated unfairly.
But I imagine you might have another opinion about that.
Yeah, well, it is the big news of the day.
And we were somewhat hesitant to do it because I'm sure everyone is talking about it.
But I think we always try to take a look at the bigger story with a little bit different of a perspective.
And so that's what we're going to do our best to do here.
But here's how Politico put it up this morning.
We haven't seen a pardon as sweeping as Hunter Biden's in generations.
And that's true because it goes back to Gerald Ford's pardon of Richard M. Nixon after the Watergate scandal.
This was the huge American scandal.
As we're learning now with the passage of years, it was a little different than it was reported.
But nevertheless, he gave a sweeping pardon to Richard Nixon throughout the term of his presidency.
We haven't seen anything like this with an outgoing president until now, and it was his own son, his own family.
So that's why it was an absolutely incredible event that everyone's talking about.
But Jonathan Turley, our good friend and excellent legal analyst, now he has a piece out today in The Hill.
If you click that, thank you.
Lame Doug pardon, broken promise.
Biden leaves a legacy of corruption.
And that is a good point.
And the next clip from that says that NBC is reporting that Hunter's pardon was being discussed in the White House for a long time, even as Biden and his staff were steadfastly denying that they would issue a pardon.
As with his years of denying knowledge of Hunter's business dealings and meeting his clients, Biden simply lied over and over to the public.
And there's a clip that came out on Twitter X.
It's about a minute long, a little longer than what we usually show, but just to give an example of Biden and his administration over and over saying that this would not happen.
I don't know how easy we can cue this up, but if we can play that video about a minute, four seconds into that video, and let's listen to, this is the president's spokesperson.
Second one, will the president pardon or commute his son if he's convicted?
So I've answered this question before.
It was asked of me not too long ago, a couple of weeks ago, and I was very clear and I said no.
Let me go back to the first question of the briefing.
I know you said not a lot's changed since yesterday and it's a personal matter, but from a presidential perspective, is there any possibility that the president would end up pardoning his son?
No.
He busts his head seven times that the president would not pardon or commute the sentences for his son, Hunter.
I want to make sure that that is not going to change over the next six months.
The president's state of God.
It's still a no.
It's still an always be a no.
It's still a no.
It will be a no.
It is a no, and I don't have anything else to add.
Will he pardon his son?
No.
Question regarding the family.
I'm extremely proud of my son, Hunter.
He has overcome an addiction.
He's one of the greatest, most decent men I know.
And I am satisfied that I'm not going to do anything.
I said I abide by the jury decision.
I will do that.
And I will not pardon him.
I will not pardon him.
And there's a pardon right here.
So.
You know, NBC reported that too.
Have they shifted a little bit or something?
What's going on here?
It's so overwhelmingly evident that they're down.
You know, the left media has, you know, tumbled, and they can't go much lower.
But I think you hear, sometimes they want to gather sympathy.
They get up there and they sort of look like they're going to cry.
But what a shame that is, because this confirms, you know, the American people.
See, if you look for something good here, this will wake even more people up.
Even the ones who stuck by Biden.
We heard Biden and Republicans are at fall and we hate Republicans and all this stuff and they accept it.
But there must be some of them saying that there has to be a little bit of truth to this.
And maybe they won't be quite in a, there'll be some that won't be in quite as a fighting mood, but they might just fade away.
Why pick up because they don't have the arguments anymore?
It's sort of sad.
But you know, the sad part is my initial reaction.
So what?
What's new?
This is all, this is the way government is, and this is the way government's been.
And the whole principle, even when the government follows all the rules and they claim they're following the Constitution, they're criminals, you know, because they're not following their oath of office.
And they invent excuses for war in a way that's what this is all about.
Excuse illegal.
Just think of this being, there's a war.
Oh, that's, we never declared war.
We didn't do this.
Did we ever spend any money?
Did anybody die in this war?
Did we have any moral responsibility to it?
And that's the part that really bothers me.
So in a way, you know, big deal it is.
But the big thing is a lot more people are going to be exposed to the truth when they just wrote the Republicans off.
Just said, oh, that's just the Republicans reacting to hearing the truth.
Yeah.
Well, I think more people, I think today there's going to be more Americans saying, I knew it was bad, or I suspected they weren't telling the truth.
But it looks like this is bad news for the Democrats.
I think the three important parts of this is the fact that it happened, and you know, it's just so sweeping.
But the second one is the length of time.
And if you put that next one up, President, and this is from Turley's article again, President Biden has recreated an even more sweeping immunity grant through his own powers by pardoning his son not only for the crimes of which he was convicted, but of any crimes, if you put that up, please, of any crimes committed between, go forward a little bit, any crimes committed between January 1st, 2014 to December 1st, 2024.
That's over 10 years, not crimes he was convicted of or even charged with, that any that he may have committed.
And Turley punctuates with this next sentence.
If you go forward, think on that.
It would cover anything from perjury to murder.
Anything.
Anything.
So that is unbelievable.
Skip the next one and go to the next one.
But Turley makes an interesting point.
This being Turley, he's always going to find something interesting.
He said there may be little interest in pursuing this corruption scandal with so much to get done in the new administration.
However, it's not the absolute get-out-of-jail free card that Biden would like.
And I've underscored this.
Hunter could still be called to testify before Congress or with investigators on the influence peddling efforts.
If he lies, it will be a new crime for which this pardon would not bar prosecution.
He would no longer be able to count on a backpocket pardon as an insurance policy.
That's interesting if you think about a Republican House and Senate wanting to get to the bottom of this, not just wanting to score political points, but really get to the bottom of the scandal.
But I can see some people in here, you know, let's get this behind us because we have a big job cutting a nickel and a dime here and there, and we better stick to the financial thing.
But to me, it's all connected to the moral fiber of a country and individuals.
And that's where our real problem is.
This is something that is a reflection of the people themselves.
And it's amazing what we have tolerated when it comes to the rule of law and what the Department of Justice is supposed to be like.
This is such a joke.
Moral Fiber Of A Nation 00:10:13
And did they just stand up here and they lie for six months straight?
And then weekly they say the same light again.
And then they say, oh, we changed our mind.
They don't even say what they do.
They just say something else, you know, that contradicts everything they've said.
But that, once again, is that's the way they operate.
That's the way they think.
Because it's hard to find those individuals who will really stand up for the principles that they swear to uphold.
The thing about this whole thing that we want to really emphasize, now of course all this stuff is outrageous, but the important part is the Ukraine, the Ukraine situation.
Because Ukraine was Biden's baby, Obama handed it off to Biden in his second term.
Biden took it over.
He brought Victoria Newland, Tony Blinken, Jake, whatever his name is, all these guys together.
And they're the ones that were behind the Maidan.
Now, Biden, or Obama must have known a little bit about Biden because that famous phrase, always count on Biden to blank things up, and it looks like he did.
But from that perspective, the whole thing was Biden's.
The coup was Biden's.
Let's look at the timeline when we're thinking about this blanket pardon.
Do the next clip if you can.
Now, this is from the Hedge article.
He said, it was also revealed that months of denying what happened were pure lies.
Now, this is it.
This is interesting.
Here's the timeline.
In 2013 to 2014, the U.S. orchestrated a violent coup that toppled Ukraine's democratically elected government, which led to the ousting of President Yanukovych.
That happened in 2013, and then in 2014.
April 16th, Biden meets with Devin Archer in the White House.
April 21st, VP Biden visits Ukraine and becomes U.S. policy face.
So there it is.
It's his baby.
April 22nd, Archer joins Burisma's board.
April 28th, 2014, British officials seize $23 million from Burisma's owner.
May 12th, 2014, Hunter Biden joins Burisma's board, and both were paid in the millions.
This is what I think it is all about.
Doesn't it still seem strange for them to believe they could get away with it?
Yeah.
You know, and I guess it's because they do get away with it an awful lot.
But there was obviously, you know, so much evidence there.
But they were in charge.
They had the Department of Justice and the people don't care.
And besides, we have to make sure Russia doesn't, you know, take over Ukraine and build all these lies.
Then they say, well, you know, just because NATO, which is United States, had made promises and indication for peace to last after the crackup of the Soviet system, that things would be better and we're going to stay out of your backyard.
That's essentially what they said.
But we didn't stay out of their backyard.
But it is.
I wonder how many major networks ever said something like when NATO started the war.
Yeah.
The media counts on that too.
They count on people forgetting, oh, this just happened in 2022.
They never looked back.
You say this all the time.
They never look back to 14.
This is how it started.
Now, on the one hand, if this were just a corruption scandal, we'd be kind of irritated.
This guy, this ne'er-do-well son of the president, made a couple million bucks on this.
What a drag.
However, it's now in a situation where you're literally facing World War III.
It kept escalating throughout those entire 10 years.
This is, as you say, always all came from the overthrow of Yanukovych.
And now we're looking straight ahead into World War III.
I don't care if Hunter steals a few bucks.
I do care, but it's not as important as losing our entire humanity.
If this is successful, it might encourage other people who are thinking about doing the same thing in the rest of the world.
That's why we have to take over this.
But obviously, this is not a good result for anybody.
Obviously, the criminals that took over are finally been exposed.
And like I've argued, the jury, as imperfect as it is, the jury was the United States voting public, and they gave an opinion that there was a lot of lying going on there, a lot of false persecutions of the president.
But now, what's going to be the reaction to this?
And this is a big question because, you know, the human instinct is, I'm going to get them.
And that's when they need to have as much wisdom installed in their brains as possible.
Yeah, absolutely.
Well, I wanted to put up, now, Sean Davis is the CEO of the Federalist, and he has a good tweet, and I think it's very succinct, and it explains the whole thing.
If you put that next one up, this is critical, I think.
The 2014 start date of the pardon is the confession.
That was when the Biden family and the regime overthrew Ukraine's government so the country could be used as the base for the regime's Eurasian money laundering activities.
That is it, really in a nutshell.
And money laundering is bad, but World War III is worse.
And here's another possible solution.
If you go to the next one, this is Lord Bebo.
And I think he makes a suggestion that might be a good idea.
Joe Biden is afraid that Trump actually declassifies the documents.
That's why he pardoned Hunter from the start of their shady Ukrainian dealings from 2014.
Donald, please show us what was going on.
Now, that would be something I think that we would agree that would be a good thing.
Declassify it all and then hold hearings.
I think they have a long list of other things.
You know, maybe assassinations that happened.
Yeah, lots of stuff.
The whole thing.
Open government.
Let's open government.
Like you're supposed to have in a constitutional republic.
Absolutely.
Well, I'm going to close out.
I think we've covered this to the degree.
I hope we've gotten across our points, that this is how we got to near World War III.
Thank you, everyone, for tuning into the Liberty Report.
Please come back soon.
Over to you, Dr. Paul.
Very good.
I think this is a good lesson on something that I talk about a whole lot, and that is the contest between nihilism and people who are dedicated to telling the truth.
And both have been around for a long time in all of history.
It's been recorded to where people say there is no such thing as truth and don't waste your time on it.
And there's others who have from the very beginning, even before they had printing presses, that the people did understand something about natural law where telling the truth was something that was revered and that lie, cheating, and stealing and killing was not permissible.
So I think this is one time that we can see right here that the nihilists who deny there's any truth, they try to get away with that.
And the Democrats did try to get away with it.
That doesn't mean all Democrats and the people who voted it because there are a lot of people who are well-intentioned, but the good intentions aren't worth much if the good intentions are doing the wrong kind of thing.
And I think this is something that we have to realize.
You know, there's a saying that goes that truth is treason in an empire of lies.
So the empire depends on telling lies.
And as the time went on, even though there were some who, even back in 2014 and earlier, were saying warning of these things, it was still denied.
And yet the lies had to be told because the goal was the empire.
And there was an arm for the empire, the NATO and United Nations and all kinds of this.
Control of a reserve currency is a good way that you can dictate your power.
So they don't want truth.
And the people in charge call that treasonous.
But the other side of it is what we're seeing happen.
And this is sort of something that's destined to happen.
And that is that under these conditions and other similar conditions, truth does emerge.
And I think this is the emergence of truth.
And it's listed here.
There will be some who will never, never yield.
And they will stick to, you can't know the truth.
That isn't there.
And you have to keep fighting.
It cannot be, but truth cannot be squelched.
You just can't eliminate it.
Truth is truth.
You can hide it, die, and tell more lies and do everything possible.
But truth exists because truth is truth.
And eventually, sometimes I think we talk about things and they say, well, they're not going to change that.
They're not going to audit the Fed tomorrow.
Yeah, but truth will and is an emergency.
And you can't just squelch it and do away with it.
So when things like this happen and it's revealed, I think this is a revelation of truth.
But the people who take over have to be cautioned too, because there will be temptations to manipulate the power in government.
It has to be understood that power and wealth is not the purpose of having a government.
The purpose of government is to protect liberty.
And it is not there to take care of everybody and everything they have to do.
It isn't there to use authoritarianism to rule the world and rule the country all at the sacrifice of personal liberty.
So there is a good example that we had in our early history of what a republic ought to be.
And we've drifted away, but there are lots of people still out there in the remnant, growing in numbers who say enough is enough.
And there were a lot of people speaking out, you know, in the last election.
But what we have to do is do our very best to monitor that and move it back in the direction of a true republic.
I want to thank everybody for tuning in today to the Liberty Report.
