New Squatters Coming: Invaders Quartered In Our Houses!

What kind of country allows itself to be invaded? A vast majority of what the federal government does, it should not be doing. It’s almost all unconstitutional. But they ignore the constitution and do it anyway. The federal government does have a job that it actually does have to do - protect the border - and it fails miserably at it. Our entire nation suffers as a result. Invaders are now squatters in our houses? That’s the severity of the failure that we’re now experiencing.

Excitement In The Gold Market 00:04:48
Hello everybody and thank you for tuning into the Liberty Report.
With us today we have Chris Rosina, our co-host.
Chris, good to have you with us today.
It's great to be with you, Dr. Paul.
Good.
We have a couple things we're going to talk about.
First, we're going to talk about if there's any excitement in the gold market.
There is just a little bit.
And also we're going to be talking about property ownership.
And that has to do with what they call property rights, but we'll deal with that in a few minutes.
But I want to start off by talking about this week in gold because if you're a gold watcher, and I have been even before it was legal, I don't know whether it was illegal to watch it, but I used to watch what was going on in gold before we were allowed to own it back in 1975.
But the whole thing is, this week was exciting and interesting.
And if you're a chart person, you would have realized something big must be going on.
And people are talking about the central banks buying gold, and that probably has a lot to do with it.
But gold popped up over $2,000 an ounce, which is a big deal.
But it stayed up there.
It's been around that for a while.
But this time it stayed up.
It looks like it's going to stay up there.
But I wouldn't bet my money that I know that it will never go below $2,000.
But anyway, it looks very strong, and people are excited.
There's a lot of people asking questions right now.
Why is gold so strong, but the gold stocks aren't doing it as well?
And on the website, you'll find explanations on that.
And I say, well, it might seem like a discrepancy, but the market will sort it out.
It'll sort it out if they think there's a discrepancy.
The market will do what it has to do.
But anyway, gold, to me, is a very good indicator of what's really happening, what the foreign policy is doing, how much violence we have in our country, what the Federal Reserve is doing.
We had a Federal Reserve Board meeting this past week.
So there's a lot of activity there.
But one thing that exists and has a lot to do with gold is the perpetuation of huge deficits.
And they're, I think, voting today on another budget.
If it passes, it's more money.
If they don't pass it, there'll still be more money somewhere along the way.
So that has a lot to do with the devaluation.
We should be careless and not only talking about the price of gold, because what we're really talking about is the measurement of the devaluation of the value of our dollar.
And that is what the Constitution was supposed to do, was maintain that value and not given the right to inflate at leisure to take care of all these deficits.
And we've been doing that for a long time.
Now, there's a lot of things that go on.
And that's why we work with and partner with Birch Gold Company because they're interested in trying to help people protect themselves.
And I like that too.
I think the more people that own gold, the better off we are.
If we do have a major calamity, I think in the 30s when they made gold illegal, not as many people were interested.
Today, there are more people sophisticated and understand it.
And they want to be able to be protected.
But there's a lot of different ways you can do it.
Many things in the marketplace.
And I'm not a gold advisor on how and when to buy gold.
I look at it more from a strategic and a political viewpoint and a civil liberty point of ownership of something that could protect you against government excesses.
So, Birch Gold will send you some information on this if you so desire.
And what you do is on the screen, you'll see it says, Ron, text 989898, and that will take you to Gold, and take you to Birch Gold.
And they will send you some material, and that material will give you an idea of how to get involved with the Gold system.
But that's important to do because there are a lot of pros and cons, but the more people that are involved, the more people who are protected, the happier I'll be because we want friends out there.
If a calamity comes, and I suspect it will come, because they can't keep running up these deficits.
So that's and I know most of our viewers have thought about this but if you want additional information text Ron at 989898 and Birch will send you some more materials on some options that you might have.
Now what I'd like to do now Chris is talk a little bit about property rights.
People Have Property Rights 00:13:37
You know they talk about property rights but I always thought that was a very careless term.
Property does not have rights.
People have a right to own property.
It's a cliche I guess and it doesn't hurt if somebody says property rights and everybody knows what they're talking about.
But it's really the right to own property.
And right now it's being very much challenged when you see what's happening in our homes.
It reminds me of one of the reasons we had a Declaration of Independence because the Russia, the British stationed their troops in our home.
And now we're encouraging and offering up, oh, an empty house means you can, and you're an illegal, an American citizen couldn't do this, of course.
If you're illegal, you can go in there and just occupy it.
And it's up to you to maybe get it back again.
It's a really bad system.
And unfortunately, that is what's going on.
A lot of anger.
People have died over this, and it's going to be worse.
There's people, there was one clip on the internet where a Venezuelan using it as a promotion.
He says, you know what?
If you go to America, if you find an empty house, they have a law that says you could just go in.
And virtually that's happening as going in.
And sometimes the owner gets into more trouble than the people who went into the house.
So it's the whole breakdown that we have on justice system and the principle of laws.
I think some of the massive problems we have with immigration now is the breakdown of the understanding of private property.
Because when you allow people to come in and just march over your country, and yes, they may go into our homes like they're doing now, but just getting into the things that the people here paid for.
You know, whether it's highways, hospitals, and schools and everything else, they come in, and our government actually prefers to treat them with a priority, and they get first takings in some areas, which is awfully ridiculous.
Some states are a lot worse than other, but to me, it's a property rights issue on what is going on there.
And once again, what they're doing with this massive changeover where people see it as an advantage.
If your house is empty, you're going in.
And that's angering a lot of people.
And that's what's going to happen.
There's going to be a lot of anger.
And people just are outraged over it.
This is an outrage.
But it has to be resolved in the big picture because we don't have a Department of Justice.
Without a Department of Justice, it's real hard to solve this problem.
Chris?
That's right, Dr. Paul.
And it really amazes me that we're even talking about this.
I mean, imagine a country that allows itself to be invaded.
It's mind-boggling.
Yet this is the country that we live in.
And, you know, ironically, the vast majority of what our federal government does is unconstitutional.
They shouldn't be doing it.
It's against the law.
But they ignore the law and they do it anyway because that's what they want to do.
And nobody can hold them to account.
But the one job that they do have to protect our borders, they're not even doing.
You know, they're not protecting against an invasion.
This is a basic.
If you're going to have states get together and form a federal government, this was one of the selling points.
And they're just totally failing at it.
But what they are focused on is not our own border, but invading everyone else.
I like to say that our country, our federal government, I'm not going to say country.
Our federal government is like the New York City or the San Francisco of the world.
They're worried about everyone else except themselves.
And themselves falls apart.
When you go to New York City, you go to San Francisco, it's falling apart.
And on top of all that, we have this exceptionalism attitude.
We're so enlightened that we're going to come and change you.
We're going to bomb you and have coups and $6 trillion wars because that's how great we are.
And we want to make you just like us.
So this is such a warped mentality, and it's really hitting home.
We see on social media in New York City and San Francisco, it's beat up.
And it's all due to their policies and their, you know, their philosophy.
And amazingly, they don't change.
They don't say, you know what, we're really messing things up here.
We better go in the opposite direction.
They don't.
They just keep spiraling lower and lower.
And we get to see it on social media.
That can happen to our nation.
I really hope that it doesn't.
But we really need a change in philosophy.
You know, the stories keep popping up.
And the more stories you hear and read about, since people are being killed over this, it is really such an outrage.
But people have to be alerted to this problem that's coming up and what to do about it because there are some states where aren't so bad now, but they're starting to wake up too.
And sometimes you think, well, won't the people wake up during the election, at least say the people who promote this, this is policy.
This is what they design.
This is what they want.
This is their goal.
And it isn't like it's an accident and a lack of enforcement.
It's a deliberate policy and they enforce the policy.
Here, this one that was in the news, I think it was yesterday, the day before.
This is the case up in New York City.
Fed up homeowner arrested after tense standoff with squatters stealing a $1 million house she inherited from her parents.
They had inherited it and they were getting it ready.
They were trying to sell it.
So the squatters say, empty house, it's ours.
And then the little article goes, a New York City property owner recently ended up in handcuffs following a fiery standoff with alleged squatters who she has been trying to boot from her family home.
Andele Andorloro, 47, was nabbed after changing the locks on her house.
And it's a million-dollar house.
It's an investment and it's an inheritance.
And I'll tell you what.
And she ends up being arrested.
There's something awfully wrong.
And there's something awfully wrong with the American people if they don't wake up and say, enough is enough.
And it has to be a property issue.
What they have done is the whole issue of immigration, they've turned this around and said you're some type of an evil person if you don't endorse this robbing and stealing because people are unfortunate.
This does not mean that you don't care about people.
Matter of fact, you do.
You want to invest and promote a free society where you have the least amount of these problems, where you have the greatest amount of prosperity and security.
And so this whole thing of putting a guilt trip on it, and they do it all the time.
And I think that is bad because what the people, and right now, it will come to a climactic end.
And we're hearing these stories.
Let's just hope the people wake up because they can do something locally.
They can do something philosophically.
They can do something in their planning.
And there's more to learn because there are some complications in studying the squatter's law.
But one thing every American should say, a law to permit the squatters to get into any vacant house they find.
And the owner has, oh, it's his job.
Maybe he can go to the court and get his house back or something like that.
This is why the American people have to wake up on this because this can't last because there'll be more violence.
And we already have seen people being killed.
But what really outrages them is when the owner might get killed or shot or be the losing factor.
And our government, our Department of Justice, a total corrupt department, goes in and defends the squatters and the looters.
The looters were the same thing.
Just think of the pictures a year ago, but to continue.
It's an operation on its own, just a looting.
And they feel good about it because they believe they're on the side of right.
And that's how distorted our system has become and the misunderstanding of what true liberty is all about.
Excellent, Dr. Paul.
Yes, you know, the American colonies were formed under the idea of decentralized government, local government.
There was this British government all the way across the ocean mistreating us.
They're not here.
They don't know what it's like to live here.
And they want it out because government has to be local.
You can't have this far-off government.
Texas, look what just happened this week with Texas.
There's this far-off government in D.C. that's supposed to protect the border, and they're not.
So Texas is now going to take care of itself.
Those people in D.C. that are whining and dining, they're not in Texas.
They're not dealing with it.
They'll watch it on TV at most.
So Texas has to deal with it themselves.
This happens all the time, even around the world.
What if your federal government doesn't like you?
They didn't really like Death Santis, they called him.
He was the one guy that was doing the right thing.
In the European Union, they don't like Orban.
If they don't like who you elect, that's another problem because they're far off.
They're a far-off government.
And that's why this whole idea of global government is nonsense.
You can't have your governing authority over in Brussels or in Switzerland.
But the tyrants want that because they're shielded.
They're not near you.
You have no access to them.
You can't get to them.
You can't replace them.
That's why they are so hungry for it.
And that's why you hear the words deep state.
That's who those people are.
You don't even know who they are.
They're wielding all this power against you, and you can't do anything about it.
You don't even know who they are.
And that's why it's called the deep state.
So the point is, is we have to think like those colonies.
Your governing authorities are the most important locally.
And Texas is now taking care of business that the federal government refuses to do for whatever reason they have.
So that's the point to drive home.
Government must be local and decentralized.
Over the weekend, there was a big episode, once again, on the border in El Paso.
And the headline here is, quote, invasion, which it is, it's an invasion.
And I think they should have used that from the beginning.
The first time I got involved in using that word was in 1987.
I was a candidate, you know, to run in the Libertarian Party.
And they were not totally sold on me being the candidate.
And they thought I might be just conservative and that sort of thing.
But they came up on immigration, and they didn't think I had a strong enough position.
I said, I have a problem with it.
I didn't argue and say, I know all the answers.
I said, I have a problem with it.
What happens when this immigration turns into an invasion?
And it was, you know, hints of what was happening.
And with our system of justice and welfare, it is.
And more people, it's commonly used now, invasion, and that's the correct term to use.
Now, this article on Zero Hedge says, invasion, riot erupts after migrants swarm breaches in U.S. southern border.
National Guard left helpless.
And, you know, that tells you so much going on and where we are.
And the National Guard and then Texas tried to pass a law to clarify and say, we have the right to defend our state.
And of course, it's in the courts.
It's back and forth.
There's been some stays and they're arguing.
And I guess eventually the Supreme Court has to settle this.
Does a state have the right to stop the invasion, which is in invasion, come in and using up the facilities and getting in people's houses and going into schools and hospitals and all.
If they don't have the right to do something about this, then we're in a big problem.
But we've been in a big problem, and the Department of Justice is the case.
Just think of in the last several years getting involved in the political things where the Department of Justice is controlled sometimes by our social media.
And the social media will tell who to ban, who to cancel.
And it's a collusion.
So that's people throw the word fascist around carelessly.
But at least we're talking about is corporatism where the corporations, whether it's pharmaceuticals or whether it's a military industrial complex, the collusion of big business and big government is very, very powerful.
And they deserve the term to be used maybe cautiously.
Is this fascism?
Well, certainly leaning toward fascism.
It's been predicted by Mises that if we continue to have the system we have now of corporatism, it does evolve into fascism.
And that becomes much more militant and authoritarian.
But that is the big problem that we have.
And that is the reason why people have to wake up to this.
So I think that the people now are sick and tired of this.
Common Morality Crisis 00:06:17
And the whole idea, what is the position of the states?
I'll tell you what, I would predict to say if somebody did deep research at the founding of this country, I'll bet you the states would have been very rebellious against what was going on.
If they say, oh, yeah, we're going to join.
And you guys can come in here from Washington and dictate to us how to keep peace and order.
They wouldn't even have signed up, I believe.
But it's going to continue until we look at this on a basic principle of what the states are allowed to do.
I think the states right now are just pushed around overly so from the federal government.
But what are you going to do if the federal government is corrupt?
We have a problem there.
It's a philosophic about a basic understanding of what real liberty means to all of us.
Fantastic, Dr. Paul.
I will finish up taking a view that you talk about a lot on this show.
And that's there are higher principles, higher laws that we have to adhere to if we want to have a decent society.
We see throughout history there's a common human error that keeps repeating itself.
We're living through it right now.
And that's the idea that if you destroy everything, then you'll be able to build back your utopia on the ashes.
This goes back to the Soviets, to the French Revolution.
This keeps repeating itself where people, they don't like what they see.
So they figure, let's just destroy everything, and then we'll start over and build back better.
Society is not built that way.
It's not built from the top down.
It's not built at all.
It's not a bunch of dudes sitting around a table with a blueprint, and they're going to implement their plans.
Society flourishes first from moral principles.
There has to be a common morality among the people first.
That has to be adopted, because if you don't have that, then the rest doesn't matter.
Private property, sound money, voluntary interactions.
None of that happens if you first don't have that moral principle.
Western civilization had a common moral principle.
It's called Christianity.
Our country, same thing.
That was the foundation, and then everything else, private property.
I won't hurt you.
You don't hurt me.
This is mine.
This is yours.
Let's come together and exchange voluntarily.
Let's have sound money.
Well, the destroyers look at this and they want to destroy it.
So the first thing you do is you abandon all morality.
All of it has to go.
And then you start destroying.
Private property is gone.
Sound money is gone.
Equality under the law is gone.
You know, it all just gets peeled away.
And they do destroy.
The Soviets destroyed.
All the communists around the world and all those, they definitely destroyed.
But guess what?
It stays destroyed.
They build absolutely nothing on top of the ashes.
What has to happen is that people say, you know, these people are nuts.
We need to start over with a moral foundation and then you start building there.
You know, this is what's happening to our country.
Our morality has been flushed down the toilet and everything else has followed.
So we need to turn around first by respecting each other, our property, and then going from there.
Very good.
You know, these things don't happen by accident.
There are people who promote exactly what's happening because some of them write and admit we want chaos because out of the chaos we can introduce this society of cultural Marxism and Marxism, which means what we want is real, really equity, have everybody equal.
And they're talking about equal distribution of all goods and services.
And they want to eliminate that people get ahead by having ability and earning their way.
But no, everybody have equity.
And there's been two slogans that they've used in these last several years.
And the goal is perfect equality in a negative way of saying take from one group and give it to another.
And that is this program called ESG.
And the other one is DEI.
These are all the guidelines on here.
And so many business people are all for this.
And they're dynamite in undermining the principles of the marketplace.
So they're going to continue with that because that's the philosophy they follow.
But that involves so much, especially when People don't get punished for the crimes that they committed.
There was another story here this week, and this was written by Joseph Watson of Modernity News, and it has to do with the girl that got beat near death.
And this was on regular news, and it was just horrible.
And she's now struggling for her life in prison.
But they ask the girl, you know, why would you do such a thing like that?
Oh, well, that's because she says, I'm the victim.
I've had to suffer, and therefore I'm just exerting my rights.
That's how distorted it is.
She probably believes that nonsense.
So that's the way that works.
And I think that unless that changes and we have a better understanding of what the Declaration of Independence meant, what our Constitution meant, far from perfect, but I'll tell you what, we're drifting away from that perfection right now.
And we're at a point now of anarchy.
And like Chris mentioned, there is not only government laws that have to be challenged, but also the natural laws and the higher law has to be looked to, which they have, people have looked toward that system for hundreds, if not thousands of years, because people do know what's right and wrong, but they would like to blacken their minds out.
And they are indoctrinated to think, well, you know, if people have something else, I have a right to take it from them.
Challenging Authoritarian Collectivism 00:01:24
Oh, that's not stealing.
And they become nihilists.
They don't believe telling lies make a difference.
And that's the type of system that we live in today.
But I think that that can be changed.
I think the interest in true liberty is growing, not diminishing.
But the problems and the consequence of the last hundred years of this development of this authoritarian collectivism is hitting home and it's struggling, struggling to survive with a free society versus the advancement stage to what Mises warned us about, and that is on to an authoritarian state like communism or any one of the others ruthless things.
So that is the challenge and it's up to people to do that.
And we will not get it from our average college professor, but we have to get it from elsewhere.
And that's where I get optimistic.
There's more of it available.
Yes, you have to pick and choose because there's a lot of trash out there, even in the internet.
But we're on the internet.
And I'll tell you what, we're participating in spreading a message.
And I meet every day a new person that has their own theme and their own method of spreading this message.
And I think that's what we should look to and encourage.
And indeed, I want to thank everybody for that participation and for supporting our program.
