Sen. Paul Attacked Again...Left Wing Twitter Encourages Violence

Just days after a formerly famous singer sent a Tweet encouraging more violence on Sen. Rand Paul, a package with a suspicious substance and a death threat was delivered to the Senator's house. Twitter has not banned or even restricted the violent Tweet...or others that followed it. Also today AOC is in therapy - you'll never guess why. BLM flags to hang at US Embassies overseas. Hypocrisy over Belarus forcing down plane over its airspace.

Senator's Concerns About Washington Violence 00:14:38
Hello everybody and thank you for tuning in to the Liberty Report.
With us today is Daniel McAdams, our co-host, Daniel.
Good to see you.
How are you this morning, Dr. Paul?
Doing well, thank you.
Going well.
I have a little concern, though, about my son a little bit.
You know, something going on there.
You know, he's had several of those episodes, and I never even warned him about how dangerous it is to be in Washington.
You know, when you look at the baseball game, that was one thing.
And his neighbor.
And now we have another episode.
And this sort of broke last night.
And Kelly, his wife, received a package in the mail.
And I think Rand was home.
And it was a suspicious-looking pack.
He said, we're careful when they open up.
There was white powder.
It was just a terrorist attack that is scare people, intimidate people.
But it was very indecent.
You know, it was just horrible what they're doing.
And they even know who it comes from.
We've heard from this guy named Richard Marks.
And he even wrote a little something there, just further intimidation.
You know, a lot of people, especially when the campaigns were going on, his campaign, people assume that probably twice a day I check with Rand and we talk everything.
But, you know, that was something that was never necessary.
We sort of knew what was going on.
But I've often explained, I said, look, we talk overly frequently, but it's usually on family matter.
So there was a family matter today, and also it was political matter today.
So I put a call in to him and he called back immediately.
And that doesn't always happen either because it might not be on the Senate floor.
But he called back and I said, well, you're okay, you're okay.
Oh, yeah, I'm okay.
So we talked a little bit about it, and he expressed his biggest concern and annoyance was Twitter.
Yeah.
You know, what goes on there and the unfairness of how they cancel one person and censor somebody.
At the other time, somebody that does these vicious, violent things over the internet and all this accusation, they're never touched.
That might be the downfall of the radical left.
Because eventually, you know, even on the left, in spite of what some people might think, there's still decent people over there.
They've just been, you know, misled.
And I think they want a little bit more honesty.
And that's why they respond to our arguments against the hypocrisy of it.
But anyway, our conversation was shore.
He was doing fine.
We were getting ready to hang up.
And he says, yeah, I'm doing fine.
Tell mom I'm okay.
That's good to hear.
That's good to hear.
But, you know, attached to the package was clearly a terrorist death threat.
And let's put up that first thing.
This is what they put on the package with the powder in it.
It's a gun to Senator Paul's head.
He's got a cast on.
He's got a neck brace and it says, I'll finish what your neighbor started, UMF.
And that's a bad word.
Part of it's blanked out, thankfully.
So if you receive this, it's not going to be a good day for you because you're going to have a panic attack, you know, as usual with the substance like this.
And let's look at the next one.
So here's some press coverage of it.
FBI is launching an investigation to specific package with a threatening letter sent to Senator Paul.
And here, the point is with Richard Marks, he's kind of a has-been singer.
It's not his specific tweet, although it is, but it's the fact that people do this all the time with impunity.
Let's put up this next one because this is his tweet, Richard Marks.
I'll say it again.
This is the day before the substance arrived at Senator's House.
I'll say it again.
If I ever meet Rand Paul's neighbor, I'm going to hug him and buy him as many drinks as he can consume.
As you know, this is the person who attacked Senator Paul.
And here's Doug Stafford, who works for Senator Paul.
He said, so you're a cheerleader for felony assault that resulted in six broken ribs, three displaced, multiple pneumonias, and a part of a lung being removed.
He's celebrating this violence.
He's encouraging this violence.
And let's do the next one really quick before we send it back.
This is Richard Marks making fun of being criticized for encouraging attacks.
But this is the interesting part, Dr. Paul, because we have to ask why.
Why are they so angry with Senator Paul that they want to do this?
And this is what Richard Marks says.
This was a day after that traitor, i.e. Rand Paul, made a public showing of refusing the vaccine.
Maybe this is what motivated the violence against him because Senator Paul said, I've had COVID.
I tested positive for it.
I'm immune to it now.
I'm not getting the vaccine.
This may have motivated the attack.
Yes, and what we're finding here, which is not infrequent, that is the people on the other side of this issue that we've been discussing, I think they're filled with lies, to tell you the truth.
But, you know, if we say that, then you get banned from everything.
But what they can't stand is somebody's telling the truth.
And especially recently, Rand's been getting some attention by revealing exactly what's going on with these vaccines and the danger of it.
He has an MD degree and he has credibility and handles himself well.
And I think it's pure jealousy and turning into hatred.
And the only way is they can't refute the ideas, so they have to destroy him as a person.
But I don't think it's going to work, you know, but it's painful to have to go through.
And I sometimes would, you know, not want to stir the pot and get away with it.
But he's more inclined to not be afraid to take these people on.
The other thing that Senator Paul did is he took down the patron saint of the COVID cult, which is Dr. Fauci.
Over and over again, he's shown Fauci to be a hypocrite and even worse.
And I think when they destroyed what really is a religion, a secular religion to a lot of people, the religion of COVID, when you destroy that, you destroy these people's gods and they're going to react.
Let's look at this next clip now with the senator.
This is his own tweet 15 hours ago.
He said, I take these threats immensely seriously.
As a repeated target of violence, it's reprehensible that Twitter allows C-list celebrities to encourage violence against me and my family.
And this is the other aspect of what we wanted to talk about, Dr. Paul, which is that that tweet and many, many hundreds like it encouraging violence against Senator Paul has not been taken down.
He has not been suspended.
He has not been kicked off Twitter.
Nothing has happened to Richard Mark and the many like him who threaten violence.
People like me, I'm banned for saying that Henry's a dummy, you know, but you can actually threaten violence.
It's okay, as long as it's the right victim.
Well, you know, that guarantees that we understand their goals.
Their goals is destruction and chaos.
And if they use a little bit of terror thrown in there and mocking, they want people to get upset and they can do that.
They achieve that.
But their goals are very explicit.
It has nothing to do with searching for the truth.
I would say that people like this are almost exactly opposite of what we try to do in our little ways, you know, to try to search for the truth and reveal it.
But they're searching for the revolution.
It's part of the Marxist revolution, too, because they thrive on chaos, in the street chaos.
And that's why this lockdown and censorship and cancel and all this stuff, it's all there to be so strange and different.
Why do they do this?
Why do they do it?
Their purpose is chaos.
And that's why figuring out the motivations and trying to play on their good side won't work.
Their goals are to cause the chaos and cause disruption.
And that's why they might even attack their own in the inner city.
Remember in the summertime?
When Black Lives Matter and Antifa and all were doing all that damage, some of the people that were suffering were the minorities.
Yeah, of course.
Burned down the stores that they owned.
That didn't bother them because it was just still chaos.
Because even if their theoretical allies get upset, that's what they want.
So this is all part of it.
But then you have the specific incidents, and that's what Rand has to put up with, at least at this moment.
We know what the commies.
Yeah, again.
What the commies would say is you've got to break a few eggs if you want to make an omelette, so they don't mind.
But you know what's really despicable is the Washington Post.
I don't even need to say anything more, but it is so despicable the way they've handled this attack on Senator Paul.
Let's put up this next one.
This is the Washington Post.
They actually make fun of it.
They make fun of him.
Rand Paul received a suspicious package at home.
He blames a pop singer he claims called for violence.
So they're sort of ridiculing Rand for criticizing a person who tweets that he should be attacked.
Instead of, can you imagine if it was Pelosi that had had this suspicious package sent, if it was Harris, if it was Biden, what would the Washington Post be doing?
They'd be blaming the white nationalists, the right-wing conspiracy, but when it's someone like Senator Paul, they'd make fun of him for criticizing someone who threatened him.
This is why right now one of the greatest threats to what's going on here is the social media because the argument has been, and we've talked about it, is that they sort of dispel this whole idea of the libertarians and conservatives saying, oh, it's private property, private property, you can't censor people.
This has nothing to do with private censorship.
It has nothing to do with owning a radio station or a television session.
And you have a building and you don't allow anybody to watch in and say, well, I have the right of free speech.
It has nothing to do with this.
Because when you look at social media, and you know, there are a few good people in the Senate and the Congress trying to work out how do you solve this problem?
Because it has to be solved without undermining the private property rights.
But that is not, they don't care about private property rights.
They successfully hide behind property rights and allow people to become supporters of their side.
But their connection, they're allies, and they're part of the government.
They establish it and they get their protection.
You can't sue them and all these other things.
And they still receive a lot of money because the government needs their arm of the government.
They do all the spying for government.
That's right.
Anyway, that's a big problem.
Well, we wish the senator well, and we hope that there's some justice for this.
But I guess we move on to someone else who's having a rough time.
It's probably not right to make fun of her, but it's hard not to, Dr. Paul.
I'm sorry.
I try to be sympathetic.
Let's put up the next clip.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
She says she's in therapy after the Capitol riot.
She says that lawmakers effectively served in a war.
She felt like she was serving in a war.
So now she's, and I'm not making fun of people who need to have psychological therapy, and I don't doubt that she probably does need a little therapy, but she's blaming the whole thing.
She's got to go see a therapist because of what happened on January 6th.
You know, isn't this strange?
You know, if times were more normal, we never get really normal talk about more normal.
If you're in politics, you want to be seen as strong and reasonable and decent.
You don't want to look like a weakling.
So she gets in here and she's declaring herself a victim of insurrection.
It didn't happen.
And she was under no threat whatsoever, but now she has to have to have therapy.
And I suspect that you're not going to give her a lot of sympathy for this.
But I can't imagine anybody getting sympathy.
I think even her side was, what is she doing?
Why do we have to feel sorry for her?
You know, she's a weakling.
She's a wimp.
So, oh, I better go and talk to my psychologist about all this.
And I think, well, here's what I think it's all about.
But first, I want to put up some quotes from her, you know.
And yeah, I mean, she needs to be made fun of.
I mean, I hate doing it, but it has to happen.
Let's put up this next clip.
Here's the stuff that she was saying.
If I take a couple of months and just be really good, then that means go to therapy.
Then I don't have to live with this thing festering and lingering with me like a roommate in my apartment for years.
And then she said later, I can tell you that I had a very close encounter where I thought I was going to die.
You can leave that up.
Where I thought I was going to die, she said at the time.
I do not know if I was going, I didn't know if I was going to make it to the end of the day alive.
This is part, Dr. Paul, part of it is just kookiness.
She's just kooky and she's a bad victim mentality.
But the other part of it is this desperate, desperate need to keep the January 6th narrative alive, that it was an insurrection.
And as we've said several times, we had Julie Kelly on, who's done great work on this.
It's an insurrection where nobody had any guns.
The only person arrested with a gun was later that evening, he was in the area with a gun.
Nobody was arrested with guns.
The only person that got shot was an unarmed Air Force veteran who was shot in the neck by a Capitol Hill cop.
And we're not even allowed to find out the information about that.
But they have to keep alive this idea that there was a great threat to our democracy on January 6th.
It's a shame that people are so susceptible to these stories, but when it's incessant on TV every night and incessant in the social media as do, you know, because if people give up on the television, they go to social media and they go to Twitter.
Oh, I wonder what they're saying on Twitter.
And there's a lot of control on that.
Well, the craziest thing about it, Dr. Paul, just to finish this part, is that they have to keep this alive because it enables them, again, to crack down on Trump supporters.
That is what they're afraid of more than anything else.
They want to use it to crack down on Trump supporters, to keep Trump off the social media.
If he is the point man for this insurrection, then they justify sending him off to Guantanamo or something.
But it goes even deeper than that.
Let's put up this next clip.
Political Credibility Play 00:07:01
This is the White House spokesperson, the White House spokesperson, Jen Saki.
She falsely claims that, quote, a number of officers died on January 6th during a press, White House press briefing on Friday.
She didn't correct it.
She didn't say I was wrong.
A number of officers, nobody died except for the unarmed Air Force officer.
And look at the next one.
And Glenn Greenwald, thankfully, pointed this out.
He's one of the good ones for sure.
This SV Deity, whatever the name is, this is the Huffington Post's White House correspondence correspondent.
And this person said the Capitol riot of January 6th was not only worse than 9-11, but it was, quote, 1,000 times worse than 9-11.
That's just, she needs to go see AOC's therapist.
How many people in the media ask her for the names of the officers that were killed?
I bet none of them did.
They were too busy eating her cookies.
You know, she always brings cookies and hands them out.
Isn't that crazy?
Yeah, it's sad.
Many said.
I'm going to go on to the next one.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, this one is a leaked State Department memo.
And, you know, anything that leaked, you've got to be careful who leaked.
And what does it say?
State Department.
We should pay attention to what they're leaking and what it came.
But it might have been an honest leak and wanted to get some information.
Indicates official support for the BLM agenda.
Now, you know, sometimes people try to paint a soft picture of Black Lives Matter.
It doesn't always work.
I think it has some things to overcome.
Right now they're working on, the Democrats are starting to realize that burning down cities and firing all the police, it might not be a good political thing.
So they're starting to back off.
Well, no, I don't think Black Lives Matter.
They're changing their tune and this sort of thing.
But anyway, this is State Department indicating that the department supports the Black Lives Matter.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, let's put up that next clip because I got this this morning from Bob Wenzel's great website, Target Liberty.
Let's put up that clip.
This is where we saw it too.
State Department membrane authorizes and encourages the hanging of BLM flag at all U.S. diplomatic and consular posts.
That's crazy.
That's insane.
You know, this is a self-professed, trained Marxist organization that blows up and burns down cities.
But they say go ahead and put up the flag.
And let's look at this next one.
This is from the memo that the State Department put out about this.
Let's have that next clip.
This cable constitutes a blanket written authorization for calendar year 2021 under the Under Secretary of Management to display the BLM flag on the external facing flagpole of any chiefs of mission who determine such a display is appropriate in light of local conditions.
I would suggest if they're going to put up that flag, okay, that's fine.
But put up the flag next to it, a picture of this next clip, because this is what actually happened in planet reality under BLM.
Next clip, please.
This is the reality of BLM, burning up the towns, beating up people, destroying black businesses, as you say, Dr. Paul.
So put that up next to the flag, and I guess we'll be okay.
You know, flags are very significant, you know, from early times, you know, especially in our history, especially in Texas.
We had five flags, I think.
And each one was a powerful statement.
So they have a statement.
And this whole thing here is very powerful political statement that they want to portray.
And I don't think I saw a whole lot on television criticizing this.
And you put the flag up and that gives them credibility.
They like this.
But unfortunately, it shows to me how pervasive this whole Black Lives Matter and this whole, you know, this whole effort of cultural Marxism infiltrated just about all aspects.
But then when you look at what the theoreticians talk about on Black Lives Matter and Marxism, is that's what you're supposed to do.
You're supposed to go everywhere and all of a sudden pop up in the churches and the schools and the playgrounds and everything you can think of in the State Department.
And this is exactly what they do.
And people get inundated.
And then all of a sudden they'll give you one statement of a difference.
But they will not allow a free discussion on the social media for this.
There's no way that it'll be permitted for us to have a discussion on social media.
And that is why we've talked about it a lot.
And we have to keep after it.
In spite of the problems with the social media, we use it.
I think it's the greatest invention in many ways for getting information out.
And we have to have all those smart libertarian technicians continue to work on the project of having an alternative.
Because, you know, just when you look at parlor, it was trying to substitute.
But it was huge in no time until there were some difficulties in the technology on what was happening.
They lost some effort to spread around.
But I think if somebody puts that together, I think it can overwhelm what the establishment is doing because things are going to get more rocky and they're not going to be, I think when the crash comes, things will be so chaotic that anybody who has the knowledge how to circumvent this, you know, will be able to have a platform to get information out.
You know, we've had people contact us and give us some advice.
This is what you might do.
And already some people are way ahead of at least me.
They said, we save everything you do just in case we need a library.
Well, you know, in the Black Lives Matter thing, what is really encouraging is that right now there is emerging many young black libertarians who are out there.
They're very active.
They're pro-Second Amendment.
They're pro-property rights.
So when we think about, you know, the Black Lives Matter and the Marxism and the attacks, we should also be encouraged by the fact that at least I'm seeing more than I've ever seen great young black libertarians who are also preaching to their communities, preaching to the rest of the world the value of these important things.
So I take a lot of courage in that.
That is one of the most important things because they're young people and they're reaching other young people.
And I was encouraged when I spent a little bit of time talking to young people and I said they have an open mind.
You just have to, you know, explain to them what you're doing and then tell them what they're facing.
Exposing Young Minds 00:05:45
And in spite of the shortcomings on TV, I've seen a couple on some of the conservative TV.
They've hired some of these young libertarian conservatives and they're doing a pretty darn good job.
And I think there's going to be more.
But it has to be in the area of education.
And that to me is the most important.
My efforts have frequently been to reach people through civil liberties and foreign policy as well as economic liberty.
And it's so practical to go in that method because people say, well, that makes sense.
It always pleased me.
We say, you know what?
They would sort of pause a bit and say, you know what?
What you're saying is just common sense.
It's not complicated.
They didn't have to tell me I was a genius.
They said, oh, this is a simple little thing called common sense.
Everybody has that.
You don't even have to burn down a building to get it through.
The last main topic we wanted to talk about was kind of a short one.
And this is, again, something that Glenn Greenwald has pointed out.
But, you know, there's a big brouhaha because there was a Ryan air flight that was traveling over Belarusian airspace.
And the military forced a plane to land in Belarus, in Minsk, and they went in and they took out a dissident.
It was actually an employee of the U.S. government indirectly who had been involved in fomenting the unrest in Belarus.
So they took him out and arrested him.
He was wanted for his actions there.
And of course, the U.S. and the EU are freaking out.
This is unprecedented.
It's never happened.
How, this tyrant, how can he do it?
Except, as Glenn Greenwald pointed out, and let's put up that last clip, it's not as unprecedented as they want you to think.
This is Glenn Gleenwald's piece as anger toward Belarus mounts.
Recall the 2013 forced landing of Bolivia's plane to find Snowden, and that's what the EU and the U.S. forced down a plane carrying the president of Bolivia, forced it down to run in there and search it for Snowden.
You know, and what he points out there in a little bit of expansion of what he said, what Belarus did was illegal, is not unprecedented.
The dangerous tactic was pioneered by the same U.S. and EU officials now righteously condemning it.
But it also backs to a theme that I use frequently is, you know, if we end up doing it to people and then they do it back to us, you can't just say 100% of the evil is on the other side if you want to understand it or deal with it.
But people have a heaven.
Nobody likes to look to themselves because if you do it on a personal level, that means you put the burden on yourself to clean up your act.
And when a country does that, then you become unpatriotic.
It's much more of a challenge.
But I think that's the only way you improve things.
And if you want to improve the conditions for the people who should have their liberty to enjoy their life and, you know, and work in that manner, you have to accept the idea that if you're bombing other people or doing things or pushing their airplanes or putting on sanctions, you know, this whole thing about trade wars and the Republicans haven't been very good on sanctions and trade wars and authoritarian efforts overseas.
You know, and then they wonder, oh, they're the enemy.
They'll put 100% of the problems on the enemy.
And I think fair and balanced would be that, you know, look to yourself first because that might even help the opposition to realize that there are other ways to deal with international affairs.
And, you know, Moon of Alabama, which does a lot of good stuff, moonofalabama.org has a lead piece today, Lukashenko's Revenge Surfed Cold, where he outlines at least six or seven times in the past that U.S. and Western governments have forced down planes to search them.
So it's not as unprecedented as the mainstream media would like us to know.
But I'm just going to close again by reminding people to sign up for updates, ronpaulinstitute.org.

Very good.
I want to finish by mentioning what the United Kingdom just have announced.
Health Secretary suggests critics of vaccine passports are crazy.
That's a simple, easy to understand, but I don't think that passes the smell test.
That's good common sense.
But anyway, this whole thing of criticizing people and punishing people because they take these opinions.
But this is part of, I think, what they're annoyed with Randy for because he's been so good at exposing Fauci and the others on these vaccines and getting just not only the passport, just getting the shot.
What am I getting a shot?
I've had the disease.
I don't have to get it.
But It's something that persistently we have to pursue, just finding to the best of our ability what the truth is, medically and politically and economically, and then present the case because I do still believe in the goodness of man, but unfortunately, the bad people are tolerated too well and they're allowed to get into government and they're allowed to get into our universities.
Pursuing Truth Despite Challenges 00:00:38
And you take two or three percent there and they're very, very dangerous people because I think there's good instincts on most people, but they have to have it offered to them.
But I think they have to be exposed to it.
It's one of the reasons why I've emphasized homeschooling and why I have a homeschooling program because the ideas are so important to understand the policy.
So this is something that we have to pursue and I do want to show my appreciation to all our viewers for tuning in not only today but regularly because without your support we wouldn't be able to do very much in our efforts to promote peace and prosperity.
