Rescuing ISIS? 00:03:47
We are terrified of ISIS.
Even when ISIS is not involved, they're still involved.
It's always ISIS.
And the people are literally hysterical over, and our government's going nuts.
Not that we should ignore the violence and all that.
That's beside the point.
But here it is that we could stir up this whole nation, undermine our Second Amendment rights, underlines the Fourth Amendment rights, undermine all our freedoms because of ISIS.
And I see what we're doing here now as rescuing ISIS.
Since 1972, U.S. military personnel have committed 5,800 crimes in Okinawa, 571 of them considered serious crimes.
So it's understandable that the people there are annoyed.
And when you look at that, and they're under the assumption that there's no justice, there probably is occasionally some punishments and things like that.
But I think the Okinawans see it as no real punishment for that, for those type of crimes.
And I don't see how that's going to go away.
I see nothing wrong with the position that we have held for a while.
Just come home.
Just bring the troops home.
Compelled to send Bill Clinton money in his foundation to do good around the world.
You know, what's interesting about it as much as the content, which is fascinating, but is the fact that the mainstream media thus far has kept it at arm's length distance.
You know, we talked just the other day about these 51 State Department employees who signed this little letter, and that was front page news, New York Times.
But this, which appears to at least be massive foreign influence while Clinton was Secretary of State, it's hardly being mentioned in the mainstream outlets.
Maybe it's yet to break.
Maybe we're ahead of the curve, but it really hasn't.
Daniel is the executive director of the Institute for Peace and Prosperity.
And that's been around now about three years and it's doing very, very well.
And they're going to hold a significant event.
And Daniel would like to talk a little bit about that event.
And if anybody's interested, maybe we'll see him at the event.
Exactly.
Well, that's Ron Paul's return to Washington.
Sort of.
We're holding on September 11th, September 10th, the day before September 11th, in Washington, D.C., a conference on peace and prosperity 2016.
You know, we're going to make the case for non-interventionism, for minding our own business, for ending the U.S. Empire.
And the conference, of course, will feature you as the main speaker, but also a few of your closest friends and collaborators over the last many years that you've been in public life.
So we have a pretty exciting, we're still putting together the lineup.
So far, we have a pretty exciting lineup.
Tickets have been on sale for just a week yet, and we're about a quarter sold out at our super early bird rate of $55, including lunch.
Anyone who's interested, you should sign up and get your tickets right away.
RonPaulInstitute.org backslash conference will get you more information about it.
And we really are looking forward to seeing the people that we hear from and we talk to and we do our show for every week.
I think it's going to be such fun.
Yeah, but you were challenging me of me going back to Washington.
I haven't been too anxious about that.
And we're going to be just outside of Washington.
We're not going to go into the belly of the beast.
I generally go to bed pretty early at night and get up real early.
But last night I stayed up late.
I was watching financial news well into the wee hours of the morning, watching for the vote on Brexit.
Yes, good morning, Dr. Paul.
I also was up last night.
I was on Twitter and I was cheering away at the great news.
You know, our job is mostly chronicling, it seems, the downward spiral that we've been subject to.
