Ron Paul Liberty Report - The Ron Paul Liberty Report Greatest Hits - Week Ending 5-27-16 Aired: 2016-05-28 Duration: 02:00 === Abusive Incarceration Practices (02:00) === [00:00:00] And when you think of how abusive we are in incarcerating people due to the insanity of the war on drugs and putting people who are non-violent, therefore they could be called political prisoners. [00:00:13] You know, we have 5% of the population, 25% of the incarcerations, and more than anybody else, you know, we can condemn, we can go over to China and say, you know, you don't treat your people right. [00:00:26] You have too many people that haven't been treated. [00:00:28] But yeah, what about our whistleblowers? [00:00:31] Our whistleblowers get put in prison, you know, and they're incarcerated. [00:00:35] People who stand on the Constitution and defend, you know, make the position that the way our income tax is collected is unconstitutional. [00:00:44] They can go to jail and kept there. [00:00:47] It's the system that has rotted away. [00:00:50] The founders made an attempt, but it's hard to say it, but the attempt didn't work very well. [00:00:56] And we have to have a major revision of what we have or a better understanding. [00:01:02] How many people running for office right now are bragging about, I want to dissipate power. [00:01:08] No, the people want to hear, I want my food stamps, and don't take my food stamps from me. [00:01:13] And that means the food stamps for the poor and the food stamps for the rich. [00:01:16] What are we going to do to get people to reassess our policies? [00:01:20] And here's one thing you'll never see in the news. [00:01:22] Paris was horrible. [00:01:23] 100 and some people killed. [00:01:25] But just a couple of days ago, U.S.-backed rebels in Syria had two suicide bombings in which as many people were killed in Syria as were killed in Paris. [00:01:35] Our guys did this. [00:01:37] Nobody reports it. [00:01:38] They're non-people. [00:01:40] Sometimes they say the Palestinians are non-people too. [00:01:43] If you only could do one thing, it's just say, look, nobody's saving. [00:01:48] There's no economic growth. [00:01:49] We want to return to normalcy. [00:01:52] Nobody wants to get rid of the Fed. [00:01:53] Just have Congress take away the power of the Fed to manipulate interest rates.
