[00:00:02]  You don't have to be a member of Congress to be the Speaker of the House.
[00:00:05]  And there are some rumors going around that there's a draft Ron Paul movement.
[00:00:09]  Yeah, I heard that.
[00:00:11]  I think it's rather silly talk.
[00:00:13]  But it's entertainment.
[00:00:15]  I don't want to be part of the entertainment.
[00:00:17]  But I'll tell you what, I saw something in the news yesterday.
[00:00:20]  I believe it might have been on Drudge, the big announcement that might change anybody's mind that thinks I ought to be Speaker.
[00:00:26]  It says, Newt Gingrich is ready to serve.
[00:00:30]  And people have short memories.
[00:00:31]  They say, oh, yeah, he must have been a good speaker.
[00:00:33]  We don't remember any problems.
[00:00:37]  But somebody else suggested, well, Boehner, you know, it looks like we have to keep Boehner around.
[00:00:42]  Nobody else can do the job.
[00:00:44]  So they say, but he's going to resign.
[00:00:45]  I said, that's okay.
[00:00:46]  He won't be in Congress.
[00:00:47]  He can be a member of Congress.
[00:00:49]  I don't know if it ever gets that far where they get somebody outside of Congress.
[00:00:53]  That would be interesting.
[00:00:55]  But once again, that's a technical solution, picking and choosing on legislation.
[00:01:00]  But you should be able to throw a monkey wrench in now and then.
[00:01:03]  And I think the most important thing would be, if people are serious and you had a nonpartisan person doing it, is be very generous on the votes.
[00:01:16]  But make the votes an issue.
[00:01:19]  Maybe having 30 bills in a day or something.
[00:01:23]  And they'll be short and to the point.
[00:01:26]  It'd be sort of like how they try to sandwich these amendments in on the big bills and make them up and down votes.
