Ezra Levant critiques Canada’s 2024 political landscape, accusing Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland of ties to the IRGC while questioning why the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps isn’t labeled a terrorist group. At Davos, he highlights elite excess—$50M Bombardier jets and Bill Gates’ pre-COVID pandemic simulations—while probing Gates’ controversial population-reduction remarks. Levant also slams Minister Gilmore for taxpayer-funded fines after blocking him on Twitter and details police inaction during Montreal’s Antifa-led protests, where $14B CDPQ investments in Israel were targeted. A carbon tax hike cost Canadians thousands, yet politicians’ pay rose, sparking clashes like David Menzies’ false arrest near pro-Hamas demonstrators. Conestoga College’s $140M profit from tuition loopholes and Tommy Robinson’s "90% victory" protest underscore Levant’s theme: Canada’s laws and values are under siege by activists exploiting its perceived softness. Tonight, on the first day of the year, a look back at the best of the Rebel in 2024.
It's January 1st, and this is the Ezra Levant show.
Ms. Freeland, how come the IRDC is not a terrorist group?
Why is your government supporting Islamo National?
What do you do?
You're under arrest for assault.
Why are you pushing me?
You're under arrest for assault.
Who are you?
Under arrest?
Police.
Police, you're under arrest.
How am I under arrest?
You bumped into me.
You pushed into me.
I was just scrubbing.
I've got my credentials here, and you just bumped into me.
So police.
You're under arrest.
What is your name in your badge?
What is your name in your badge?
You've been told you're under arrest.
Why am I under arrest?
He blocked my race.
I was just scrubbing Christia Freeland.
I'm a police officer.
You're under arrest.
What is your name and your badge?
How is that possible?
You assaulted me three years ago when Blackface went back.
I was very aggressive for the traffic.
You mean I was asking questions aggressively?
No, no, your actions were.
You were almost pushing everybody open.
I told you, that's what it is.
Lincoln, you got this on video, right?
He's saying I'm pushing people over?
That's an absolute falsehood.
So now it appeared that way.
That's what you're saying, officer?
It appeared that I wasn't afraid of that.
I didn't touch a single person.
That was a little bit aggressive for what was happening.
You're under arrest.
Please take the microphone out of my face.
Well, I'd like an ongoing record of this.
Can I have the microphone?
Don't resist.
Can you give me a question?
I'm not resisting.
Take your hand.
Why am I incorrect?
I'm just doing my best.
Stop resisting.
You don't need to resist.
I don't have to.
You don't have to say anything.
I have nothing.
Hi, Officer.
Welcome to Blackfaces Canada.
This is what they do to journalists.
I was merely scrumming Minister Freeland, and a RCMP officer blocked me.
And evidently, this is now a trumped-up charge of assault, folks.
I didn't come here to cause any trouble.
I came here to do my job.
And now I'm handcuffed.
This is your Canada now, folks.
This is the Gestapo taking Blackface's orders.
Outrageous.
And meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is not a terrorist organization.
It's not a terrorist organization.
And these liberals have the audacity to show up at a vigil for a plane in which almost 200 people were killed.
57 Canadians, one unborn child, by the way.
And look at this.
They don't want, it is against the law in Blackfaces Canada to ask insensitive questions, impolite questions.
So a Canadian government that props up an Islamo fascist regime, that's okay.
But if you ask questions about that, that's not okay.
This is an absolute outrage.
I didn't come here to cause trouble, folks.
I just came there to ask questions.
That's my cameraman, sir.
He's not doing anything.
No, I just want to provide some space so that everybody's safe here, okay?
So what you have in a country like Canada, where you have an authoritarian government that's taking away civil liberties, a dying middle class, and no media, is you have almost nobody pushing back against the lies.
There is maybe one news organization left in Canada that does, that asks very simple questions of the people who run the country.
Why are you doing this?
Can you answer the question?
Gates On Davos And Media00:08:35
That's Rebel News.
Watch one of their reporters try to ask Krista Freeland, who's the finance minister of Canada, spent many years in Washington, D.C., known to many people who lived in D.C. as a kind of low IQ functionary.
She now has power and she does not want to answer any questions from the one independent media organization remaining in Canada.
Watch what happens when a reporter tries to get her down.
So Canada has descended to an extremely dark place and there are a lot of threads to the story.
We're going to Canada very soon to see it for ourselves.
Ezra Levant here, every year Rebel News goes to the World Economic Forum gathering in the Swiss Alps in a ski town called Davos.
We take a very long journey.
We fly to Zurich.
Then we either drive or take the train up to, well, not to Davos because all the hotel rooms are booked out.
We stay in a town nearby and then we train it or go by car every day.
But that's us.
We're regular, but there's a lot of very fancy people here.
There's VIPs and then there's VVIPs.
And then if there's such a thing, there's VVVIPs.
And let me tell you, they don't bother with going on the tourney, car sick Swiss Alps roads.
They fly private jets to this private airstrip about an hour and a half hour, 15 minutes away from Davos.
And then many of them take a helicopter from here for that last leg of the journey.
God forbid, they share the highway with the peasants.
There's planes coming and going literally every 10 minutes.
I just heard the sound of a jet behind me.
It's fascinating.
One of the things about planes that I didn't know is that you can look up their number on the tail, search out the details, for example, what kind of aircraft it is and who owns it.
And there's even an app where you can track, you can track jets as they come and go.
This is a fairly small airstrip.
It's a private airstrip.
I think it's used for commercial business.
There's some industry in the area and for people flying in to go skiing in the Alps.
But this one week of the World Economic Forum is the busiest week by far for this little airstrip.
And you see massive jets that you wouldn't normally see.
It's so busy.
It's such an important part of their business that the website of the airport has its own special menu bar just for the World Economic Forum.
You could read it yourself.
They make hundreds of thousands of dollars from the fees of these planes landing and getting fueled and staying in hangars.
But like I say, this is a fairly small airfield.
There's not enough room.
So the jets sometimes fly elsewhere to park elsewhere.
We followed one plane that took off from London, landed here.
It was an enormous plane, a Bombardier 6500.
I googled it.
Those things retail for about $50 million U.S., and they cost tens of thousands of dollars per hour to fly with that high-carbon jet fuel.
We watched that aircraft land, and I was ready for a huge entourage to get off the plane.
There were only three people on the plane.
Sorry, it's a little noisy.
Another aircraft is pulling up right now.
I love the fact that the name of this private jet airport is the People's Airport.
It reminds me of what we saw in Davos the other day about the equality lounge.
There's something wonderful about J.P. Morgan and McKinsey and the world's billionaires having an equality lounge.
And there's something very Orwellian about this People's Airport.
Another private jet landing there, another one getting ready to take off there.
These are the people telling you to reduce your carbon footprint.
They'll dine on the finest Wagyu steaks and Kobe beef while telling you to eat Zabugs.
Hey everybody, Ezra Levant here with my friend Abhi Yamini.
We arrived in Davos, Switzerland yesterday because tomorrow, the annual gathering of the World Economic Forum Elites, it's a very exclusive, reclusive club.
They take over this ski village in the Swiss Alps and they transform the Central Street into, I guess the best way to describe it is like a movie set.
Absolutely.
And big globalist corporations set up pavilions and kiosks.
Behind me is really the heart of darkness, BlackRock.
It's run by Larry Fink, perhaps the world's most aggressive promoter of cultural Marxism, DEI, diversity, equity, inclusion.
BlackRock has trillions of dollars under management.
And what they do, it's really sneaky, Avi, is that they say to the companies they invest in, we're not just here for a financial rate of return, we're going to force you to do...
Are you interrupting?
Are you interrupting us?
What's your name?
I'm sorry to interrupt, but this is a parking space.
I just wanted to ask you to move over to...
I'm not going to because there's no car coming to this parking space.
What's your name?
I don't want you guys to get hit by a vehicle.
Me neither.
Thanks for caring so much about me.
I feel like BlackRock really cares.
Okay, what's your name?
My name's Julia.
Hi.
Julia, are you with BlackRock or are you with the yeah?
What do you do with BlackRock?
Oh, I'm not going to go into the business.
Don't touch me.
Don't touch me.
Sorry, don't touch me.
What does BlackRock care about?
This is a private space, so if you guys wouldn't mind just moving on to the park.
I would mind.
You're going to have to call the police on me.
That would be good.
You're going to have to call the police.
There's no need to be silly.
But yeah, thanks, guys, if you wouldn't mind me.
I would mind.
Yeah, you're going to have to call the police again.
Okay, stop interrupting.
Okay, that was very rude of you.
Okay.
they do they own they own a big percentage of the world but they don't not this car You know what?
One of the things I love about Switzerland is that the police don't run errands for BlackRock.
Can I ask you a few questions about the foundation?
Unfortunately, I'm running late for something.
I'll walk with you.
One of the criticisms is Bill Gates is sort of a master of the universe, but he's not elected at all.
But he exerts a lot of power.
How do you feel about that?
Isn't it a little undemocratic?
Is Melinda still involved at the foundation even after the divorce?
But I did not like that he'd had meetings with Jeffrey Epstein.
How many times did Bill Gates actually visit Epstein?
I've seen estimates that it was in the dozens.
Is that true?
Why is it that Bill Gates is out free when others who are involved with Epstein are being prosecuted?
Like even Prince Andrew's in trouble.
How did Bill Gates manage to escape?
What was Bill Gates' involvement in the simulation for a worldwide pandemic just months before COVID-19?
Has he ever explained that?
I was at a pavilion called We Lead.
It was a women's rights organization in India.
They said that the Bill Gates Foundation was a funder.
What are you doing poking around India like that?
What's Bill Gates' ambition in India?
Bill Gates says he thinks there's too many people in the world.
He'd like to see 15 or 20% fewer people at least.
First, we've got population.
The world today has 6.8 billion people.
That's headed up to about 9 billion.
Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent.
And yet he's behind a lot of vaccine developments.
Isn't that sort of a conflict of interest?
How can you trust a guy to make medicine if he says there's too many people in the world?
Minister Gilbo, you lost a court case to me and the judge ordered you to pay $20,000, but instead of paying it yourself, you had taxpayers pay for it.
Why?
Minister Gilbo, the court ordered you to pay me $20,000, but you foisted that on taxpayers instead.
Minister Gilbo's Controversy00:12:38
You illegally blocked me on Twitter.
You fought for two years.
You used a quarter million dollars in taxpayers' money, and then you stiffed the taxpayer and foisted the bill on them.
Why did you do that?
Why don't you think you have to answer for $20,000 of legal bills that you send to the taxpayer to pay your fine?
Why aren't you talking about it?
You had a lot to say in court.
You claimed that your Twitter account was a personal account.
If that's the case, why didn't you pay the fine personally?
Do you disrespect taxpayers, Mr. Gilbo?
Sure seems that way.
You know, the center of the city of Dublin is absolutely beautiful.
Who wouldn't want to go to these pubs and restaurants along the river?
And they built this boardwalk along the river for people to sit and just enjoy and watch things go by.
I saw a tweet, though, that got my interest that the boardwalk, there are some Irish who like to come and sit, but really it's a meeting place for foreigners who are here as temporary workers or asylum seekers or the unemployed.
And I thought, is that true?
So I spent some time just going down the boardwalk talking to literally every single person I met.
And my first question was always the same.
Where are you from?
Let me show you the answers.
We're asking folks where they're from.
Are you from Ireland yourself?
Yeah, I'm from Dublin.
And you too?
Yeah.
Moldova.
Moldova and how about you?
Moldova.
India.
India.
I'm from the Philippines.
You too?
Yes.
Wyoming.
Where are you from?
I'm from Pakistan.
Romania.
Romania.
Egypt.
Hi, guys.
Where are you guys from?
I'm from Chan.
You're from China?
Are you from China also?
Yeah.
Are you from China also?
No.
I'm from Nepal.
You're from Nepal.
I'm Irish.
Angola.
Romania.
Romania.
You know English, okay.
Are you guys all from Romania?
Yeah.
From Prague, from Tiger.
Oh, Prague, Czechoslovakia.
Okay, yeah.
Where are you from?
Holland.
I'm from Argentina.
Yeah, I like Irish people.
One is the loveliest people in the world.
Friendly, nice, can make jokes.
Very nice people, like Latin people.
And where are you from originally?
Romania.
We're asking folks about immigration because we're from Canada and it's a big issue over in Canada.
Do you think immigration is a political issue in Ireland?
Well, I don't think that the views of people right now should be against immigration like ours.
Ireland have always been people that immigrate, so I don't think it's an issue.
think it's more of a housing issue that people are worried about so I come here for by sea and containers so it's not my family is not able to you came in a container ship you say Yeah.
Do you think some people are coming to Ireland claiming to be asylum seekers, but really they're not?
They're just here to take advantage of Irish hospitality?
That's a long term.
That's a long-term scam.
Do you think that's related, though?
If you bring in hundreds of thousands of folks, you know, it's going to drive up the supply and demand.
It's already been an issue in Ireland before immigration, so it's more of a landlord issue and current government issue, I'd say.
It's not non-zero immigrants.
Hey guys, do you support Jugmeet Singh?
Hi.
Who are you with?
Oh, Rebel News, sir.
What do you think of his nickname, Sell Out Singh?
Hey guys, do you support Jugmeet Singh?
What do you feel about his nickname, Sell Out Singh, sir?
New comic.
Hi, sir.
Do you support Jugmeet Singh?
I hope you'll knock it in on the camera.
Oh, okay.
That kind of negates what we're trying to do here, but okay.
Oh, okay.
What do you think about his nickname, Sell Out Singh?
That would be no comment.
Hi there, ma'am.
Do you support Jugmeet Singh?
Yes, I do.
Oh, for what reason?
I just like what he's all about.
Okay, then, is there any policy of his that you support?
Because I'm not so much familiar with all the policies.
Oh, you're not familiar?
Oh, all right, then.
What do you think of his nickname, Sell Out Singh?
Well, I didn't hear that.
I don't know.
Oh, okay, then.
All right, have a nice evening.
Hey, guys, do you support Jugmeet Singh?
I'm not living.
What do you think about Jugmeat Singh being called Sell Out Singh, sir?
Ms. Columb, it's just you guys.
No, it's Mr. Polyev, actually.
I don't want to go on the...
Oh, okay.
Your camera's shy?
Okay.
No worries.
Mr. Singh, how you doing?
Say, Mr. Singh, you said several weeks ago you tore up the support agreement with the Liberals, but you continue to prop them up in the House.
Mr. Singh, for the good of the country, are you going to walk away from your multi-million dollar pension?
No, is that right?
Mr. Polyev refers to you as Sell Out Singh.
do you refer how do you uh what's your response to that There you go, folks.
We gave it a good college try.
Do you support Jugmeet Singh?
No, I don't.
Oh, okay, then.
Well, we have an honest man in the room.
We all commit to remain grounded in why we enter this space.
Can journalists go in there?
No.
The students are asking that journalists listen to the press conference over there and there will be an opportunity to ask questions over there from the students who are participating in the encampment.
Now, there's probably like a hundred reporters, so I don't think it's likely that I'd be able to get my question.
I'm just here to de-escalate.
I don't actually know why you're filming me.
I'm just here to de-escalate and help keep everyone calm.
I'm so calm, I'm almost asleep.
Your best opportunity for talking to the students is to go over there.
You can ask questions at the press briefing.
Are you a student here?
You know, I'm surprised to see some Asian kids in there.
And I know that's sort of a stereotype, but I know that a lot of immigrant families who come to America and the first generation works their butt off at maybe a convenience store working 100 hours a week so their kids can get into a great school like Columbia.
Parents scrape together the money than to have their kids piss away their money here.
It's sort of shocking to me.
Are you making it really hard for students to enter and exit this?
I don't think I am.
I don't think I'm making it hard for anyone to enter exit.
You're the only one who's saying that.
I don't know.
I used to think that, you know, I think the phrase in Chinese is bait wool, if I'm remembering correctly, which is a Chinese term for a term of derision to mock stupid white liberals, woke white liberals who take their own case against themselves.
And I think, though, by looking at the kids inside, it's every demographic background.
It's sort of sad in a way that new immigrant communities are being co-opted by woke anti-Semitism.
I find that a little bit sad.
No, sorry, you're pressed.
You have a microphone.
It's my microphone.
That guy's a Jew.
Okay, just like that, you got to go.
You got to leave.
That's also against our community guidelines.
No, you got to get out of here.
You got to get out of here.
Thanks a lot.
You got to get out of here.
They won't let me in because I'm a Jew, and they won't let you in because you don't let me in.
Because I'm anti-Semitic.
They really have both ends of this thing covered.
Just the world, and we know that we are on the right side of it.
They've been standing strong with their fellow students and are committed to standing in solidarity with the people of Gaza and Palestinians more largely.
I think what the students here are trying to do is remind the world that there's a genocide happening in Gaza.
Our politicians, our president even seems to continue to try to take attention away from that and attention away from his active complicity in arming Israel and engaging in this genocide.
And the fact that these students have gotten their attention, I think, is incredibly impressive and hopefully will pressure them to put their attention back to the people of Gaza.
Are you guys willing to talk to us on camera?
Thank you.
Come.
The answer is over there.
Thank you.
Pardon me?
The answer is no, thank you.
Can I ask why?
Nope, no, thank you.
I mean, you're protesters, so I presume you have a message to elaborate.
No, thank you.
We don't want to speak with the press.
Is that because you don't really know why you're here?
No, thank you.
We're in the middle of a conversation.
Thank you.
Just clean up.
How long have you guys been hanging out here?
No, thank you.
We don't want to speak with the press.
You know what?
That's enough.
We said no.
Just keep going.
We're having a personal conversation.
Have I triggered you?
No, thank you.
We don't want to speak with the press.
Okay, that's enough.
All right.
Well, I'm having some trouble talking to the Palestinian activists.
There's absolutely no trouble talking.
We have media-trained personnel right there.
You're perfectly licensed to go over there and talk to them.
Some of these people here are not media trained.
Yeah, and I've heard that.
I don't know what media training has to do with just saying what they believe in their heart.
These people have been well versed on what we believe in our hearts, and they're relaying it right there.
I don't know why you're not going over there.
Listen.
Well, we're starting to march.
I had an interview cut short a little bit because I was holding things up.
Newtown Mount Kennedy is that small town I was referring to of about 2,800 people.
When the citizens tried to block it, the Guard Eye, which is the name of the Irish police, came on heavy with pepper spray.
We were talking to a mum who said her daughter was brutally sprayed.
Are you from Newtown Mount Kennedy?
What's your name?
My name is Teresa Murphy.
And Newtown Mount Kennedy, a town of about 2,800 souls?
Yes, people.
And tell me what's the latest there.
I heard that there was quite a showdown the other day.
My daughter that's standing here to the right of me, she was in the protest.
And I was always one for never wanting mobile phones in your face and everything.
But if the mobile phones hadn't been there, my daughter was in a tent.
Political Waiting Game00:07:21
She got sprayed.
Pepper sprayed?
Pepper sprayed.
By the police.
By the Gardee.
And she was in the tent, trying to, somebody was trying to clean her eyes and her husband.
She had to.
A good Samaritan came and took her through the back of the tent.
They kicked over the fire.
The guardi kicked over the fire.
And her and her husband, and I'm not saying this like for a sensation.
I don't know about social media.
They had to run for their lives.
My father, when I was a little girl, told me about the black and tans.
I never thought.
What's the black and tans?
The black and tans were men that were took out of prisons in England to come to Ireland to fight the Irish.
And they were bad people.
And they would go.
My father's mother had a small farm.
They went to that farm and they could take the poultry, they could take the eggs, take the milk.
They didn't have to answer to anybody.
Ash, Tommy, I see you're back playing against females.
Why are you doing this?
So it might take one of the players seriously getting injured or killed.
Exactly.
And that's what's going to happen.
If you talk to anybody here, make comments, rude comments, you will be charged as well.
Make rude comments?
Is that a law, sir?
Yeah, I don't agree with it either.
Oh, you don't agree that he should be here?
What do you feel about a biological male competing with biological females?
You're under arrest for trespassing.
Why?
Hey, Ash, how do you feel about taking a spot away from a biological female?
Coaches have told players that if you express your discontent for the matter with the news agencies or just in general, you will be ousted from the league and off the team.
Ok c'est beau Ok c'est beau Ah c'est des menaces Attention là Attention c'est beau Est-ce que tu sais au moins ce que ça veut dire un petit fadeau Je le sais Hello everyone This report will not hold back.
And I'm outraged by the police inaction when my colleague Guillaume and I were assaulted by a group of Antifa thugs and their radical allies on multiple occasions.
Imagine what these thugs are capable of when they are not being recorded.
As a journalist, I had multiple cameras ruling.
Yet, they still attacked us, knowing they won't face consequences.
Coordinate hiding behind masks while brazenly breaking the law and assaulting people.
The police seems to think this is like a movie where they can just watch without doing their job.
A lawless city for criminals, isn't it?
I must also highlight that securing proper security detail at a short notice can be challenging, but we are actively addressing this to ensure quick security access to cover those kind of events.
You can support us at journalistdefensefund.com to help cover our security costs globally.
Starting now, I will not be able to return without substantial security around me because it's obvious they want to destroy me.
Let me recount the event.
Last Saturday, Montreal witnessed the establishment of a new anti-Israel encampment in the middle of Square Victoria Park, all under the gaze of the police who unbelievably did nothing to intervene.
Antifa and their radical Islamic counterpart spotted us and immediately approached us with umbrellas upon our arrival.
It didn't take long before I got my first spray assault with sticky yellow paint.
I approached a police officer about my assault and questioned him about why they were not intervening against these criminals who are illegally occupying public spaces and vandalizing historical monuments with paint, graffiti, and flags.
You can understand that all this is political.
They are waiting for orders.
they were instructed to watch the construction equipment instead of protecting the public.
The purpose of this hateful encampment supposedly revolves around demanding that the caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec immediately withdraw its 14 billion investment from Israeli-linked businesses and close the Quebec office in Tel Aviv.
But in reality, they just want to destroy public spaces and push their agenda, protesting and expressing dissent our rights, but illegally seizing public and private spaces, defacing public monuments, digging trenches on the ground, like at Miguel premises, harassing, intimidating, assaulting,
and vandalizing our criminal acts that must be punished under the law.
I want to make it clear that multiple police officers were present during these incidents, yet they fell and refused to protect us or charge anyone for their criminal activities and assault.
Protecting Voices Exposed00:04:58
I repeatedly implored the police to do their job and protect us, to which they cautiously responded, We told you we will not protect you.
Imagine if this had happened to mainstream media outlet, there will be widespread outrage.
But because we are an independent news outlet, it seems acceptable.
Whether I am a woman or not, this is simply unacceptable.
Antifa and the far left are gaining strength and feeling increasingly emboldened to break the law.
We are exposing these events because everyone deserves to feel safe and protected.
The police and Valerie Plante must be held accountable for putting my colleague and me in danger.
Now, let's watch the full report.
Take a look at this.
Nigger, fuck you.
I have the picture of your kid on here, by the way.
You want to see?
You like that?
You like that, Drea?
Look at all your little kitchen security over there, right?
I feel scared.
Yeah.
Better back away, Graham.
That's a monster named Jonathan Yaniv, a transgender extremist, a violent criminal, and obviously a racist and a misogynist.
He was verbally attacking our reporter, Drea Humphrey.
That was not far from here in the Surrey court earlier today.
Thank God we had bodyguards for her, Drea.
That is shocking footage.
When I saw that, I immediately got on a plane and flew out here to talk to you about this, to make sure you're okay.
Tell me, first of all, what happened earlier today?
Well, thank you so much for coming out here and taking this so seriously and everybody else who's gone to protectdrea.com to do the same to help us.
What you saw there was Yaniv, Jessica Serenity Simpson, unraveling because of our journalism that is exposing him and the menacing he's done to society over and over.
The many victims.
I was there to cover how Simpson, while threatening my family, as that wasn't the first threat.
Jessica, Jessica, is your dot is just a question.
This is pressed.
Thank you very much.
Is your dog a real service dog or just identifying him?
Go away.
Go.
Back off.
Go.
Go.
Do you have anything to say to Mr. Puck's family?
Back off.
Go.
Back off.
Do you know what fuck off means?
Control your dog.
Don't threaten me.
is trying to have conditions that he has varied.
So I want to...
Gail conditions?
Is that what those are?
Well, yeah.
Conditions for one of the four criminal offenses he's been convicted of, but never once has he had any jail time.
So I wanted to cover that to make sure, you know, while this individual is threatening my family, threatening other people, people are reporting online.
I've done reports about the disabled journalism he's been targeting.
I wanted to make sure the courts were not going to be lenient with him as they have in the past.
So that's what I was there for, but that's how he treated me when he saw me on the way out.
And just to be clear, besides his outrageous torrent of abuse, he has posted photos of your home, photos of your children.
I have the picture of your kid on here, by the way.
Want to see?
He has tweeted outrageous threats.
And these aren't idle threats.
This is a guy who has broken the law again and again.
He's a criminal convict.
This is an abuser.
And I hate to say it because he's a clownish figure in some ways, but we must take it seriously.
I believe that if we didn't have bodyguards there for you, I believe he would have attacked you.
Nazis, Beach Tents, and Victims00:15:06
Well, it's still going on because we want to keep it going because we want to keep some pressure on the leadership of the government.
Hopefully they'll listen to or watch what's going on in the country and do something about it because and that's so that's why we're protesting.
I just, I think it's important to get out here and just have your voices heard.
And yeah, it's affecting all of us.
So all Canadians.
So it's not about left or right or vaccinated or unvaccinated.
It's impacting everybody.
So there's lots of support from the community too, as you guys hear, all hours of the night too.
We have people driving by and honking.
Sheila Gunread for Rebel News and I'm here in Lloyd Minster on the Saskatchewan side actually of the border city that straddles Alberta and Saskatchewan.
And some of you may know that I was here about two weeks ago on April 1st when the carbon tax demonstration behind me initially formed.
It was part of simultaneous protests all across the country in opposition to Justin Trudeau's already useless inflationary tax on everything.
Yes, if you have a giant mansion and an indoor swimming pool and three big personal cars, it might not cover all of that.
So I take it that that's a no, that you're not going to have a meeting?
We had a meeting on carbon pricing and every single premier came together to work on establishing a pan-Canadian framework on climate change years ago.
Triggering outrage across the country because simultaneously, Justin Trudeau's federal MPs gave themselves an $8,500 a year raise.
So on April 1st, the rich and the elites got richer while Canadian families got poorer with a tax that cost them, some of us, thousands of dollars per year.
You can sign our petition against the hike in the carbon tax at stopthecarbontax.com.
Some people have been protesting consistently in the same location since April 1st.
We actually drove past last night at about 11 to check it out.
They were burning pallets and waving flags like it was a midnight Canada day.
Now, some people have been coming throughout the week, going throughout the week, coming on the weekend.
And I told my kids, if we're going to go on the beach, watch out so you don't step in any human poop.
I've heard people are using tents and they're just like doing it in the sand so no one can see.
I think it's really gross.
They're digging holes and they're pooping and putting tents up because they don't want to go to the washrooms.
And I'm here to fact check that because that's not a lie.
So it makes me not want to swim and not want to be on the beach.
To be a responsible parent, you should be showing your kids how you can actually throw out their diaper in the washroom, not bury it at a beach.
Some of it's just common sense.
Like, why would you do that?
And they dig a hole and they use it for their bathroom.
David Menzies for Rebel News here in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, the world's longest freshwater beach.
But you know something, folks?
There is something a little more putrid on the beach these days.
Indeed, a local resident by the name of Natty, she recently took to social media in which she accused newcomers, mostly from India, of defecating on the beach and then burying their excrement in the sand.
There are Indian families that dig holes and put tents and poop.
They do it on the beach now and they do it.
They did it off my backyard.
There was like three different families of maybe 25, 30 people that came for barbecues.
They were set up right on the fence of my backyard.
I seen them digging the hole and I seen them put their tent.
When they left, there was poop.
That happened three separate times.
I've had to yell at people for on the borderline property line of my backyard.
And yes, it was Indian families.
So that's not false.
You can check my town's page where they say there are Indian people pooping on our beach because there is.
They're digging holes and they're pooping and putting tents up because they don't want to go to the washrooms.
And I'm here to fact check that because that's not a lie.
Natty's video has gone viral.
Most of the comments are, as what you would imagine, people expressing their disgust with this situation.
Naturally, because it's 2024, some have accused Natty of being racist.
But the thing is, we have reached out to sources and they confirm that Natty is 100% correct in her assertions.
For example, we communicated with an ex-Wissauga Beach bylaw officer, and he says, not only are people defecating in the sand and then burying the evidence, but they are also burying used diapers.
What's more, he says, when you see some of these tents, what you might think of a structure for people to get out of the scorching sun, well, in some cases, those tents are nothing more than temporary outhouses.
This is where certain people are going to do their business.
Again, it's absolutely gross.
Also, as we understand from this ex-Wasaga Beach bylaw officer, when he would ticket people who he caught defecating on the beach, he was accused of being a racist.
And sometimes he and his colleagues would be swarmed with groups of up to 20 people.
They went through punches, but imagine being in that situation where you're outnumbered 20 to 1 and people are calling you every nasty name under the book simply for doing your job, simply for telling people do not defecate on a public beach.
Ezra Levant here for Rebel News.
As you can see, I'm in downtown Toronto.
I'm standing in front of the Toronto Police Service 51 Division.
They have arrested our journalist, David Menzies, not one hour ago.
It is a false arrest.
It is a political arrest.
They arrested him because he was trying to do journalism, asking a question of a pro-Hamas protester, and they arrested him.
I need your help.
I've put in a call to our lawyer.
We're trying to locate David.
Go to standwithdavid.com now, and let me tell you what I'm gonna do.
What do you mean?
This is the King's Highway.
I am not gonna believe that somebody.
What is going on now?
We just want you to watch the momentum.
Excuse me.
Hey, hey, that's my guy.
That's my guy.
Stop.
Why don't you take care of that?
Stay back, guys.
Stay back.
Stop pushing forward.
Did you see what that showed?
There was a pro-Hamas protester.
You probably recognize him.
He's the guy who shouts hateful things at synagogues, at Jewish schools.
He's the one who has been leading the Hamas rallies around Toronto.
David was trying to interview him and he said, I'm going to pray in the middle of the street right now.
Okay, well, you go ahead.
It's a public street.
David can stand there.
But no, the police came and pulled David off the street as if it became suddenly a Sharia street, a mosque or something.
And then they later arrested him.
They claimed he didn't show his ID.
How this war has raged.
And I spoke to the existing commissioner and I'm like, mate, this is unacceptable.
And he said to me the same, he said, no, no, you had every right to be where you had to be.
Say enough with the hang.
You're rolling your eyes and you won't even look me in the face.
You won't even look me in the face.
Look at you.
I'm looking you at the info.
He's scared of you, Daniel.
He's scared.
Scared of me.
He's a pussy.
He's a pussy, that guy.
Run up and kick you out.
Daniel.
He's such a pussy.
How you doing, guys?
Do you want to tell us why you're here?
Can you tell us why you're still wearing a mask?
Is that for COVID or to protect your identity?
So she's the victim now.
She's the victim.
Look at the victim.
She's the victim.
They're consolidating the victim.
It's no surprise, pro-Hamas students here, they will attack Jews here and then cry victim.
You saw that in front of the camera, no, in front of the police, everything.
So how are Jews meant to feel safe on campus when you have this many anti-Semites, this many Jew haters, this many pro-Hamas terrorist supporters, all of them.
So you're refusing to leave?
I'm refusing to leave.
Why?
Because I'm a Jew, I'm a citizen, and I'm your boss.
And I don't leave because you say Jews are on the streets.
In the interest of keeping peace here and public safety, you're under arrest for breach of the peace.
Take them in.
Ezra Levant is a journalist and publisher of Rebel News.
And yesterday, he was arrested while reporting on a pro-Palestinian protest in a Jewish neighborhood of Toronto.
Over the last hour or so, we've been getting updates about Ezra Levant, the chief of a rebel media, who has been arrested by the pro-Islamist, the police force of Justin Trudeau's Toronto.
They arrested Ezra Levant.
Now, some of you know I used to work with Ezra.
I have not talked about Ezra publicly for a long, but I'm willing to talk about him now because it is so egregious what they did in arresting him.
So he gets arrested.
He gets charged with disturbing the peace.
The people actually disturbing the police, the Hamaznik protesters, Gosplain and Sinoir, they get to sit there and hang out.
Right there is our legal system demolished.
This is everything our country is supposed to be thrown out the window as hired jackboot thugs of Olivia Chow's arrest a reporter on a public road, telling him he's allowed to stand across the street, but he's not allowed to stand on the public sidewalk that he pays taxes for.
And Sayre of the Toronto Police wrote, Hi, Christina, thanks for reaching out.
Nobody is coming on Jerry's show to talk about rebel news.
Implicit in that is disrespect for Ezra and by extension, the public that deserves answers as to why the terrorist supporters were not arrested, ignored by the police, but the Jew was.
What I read to you from Justin Trudeau, this is a tweet that he put out in 2022 about threats against female non-white journalists.
He said, the pattern of harassment of journalists is incredibly alarming and completely unacceptable.
This type of behavior has no place in our society.
No journalist should ever be threatened for doing their job.
And yet, you were.
Yeah, I mean, our little company, Rebel News, our motto is telling the other side of the story.
And I don't recognize Canada.
We've never been quite as free as America, but we've been pretty good.
Under Justin Trudeau, that's slipping away from us.
Whose streets?
Our streets.
Whose streets?
Our streets.
Whose streets?
Our streets.
Whose streets?
Our streets.
All right.
Who wants to lead us into Canada?
Oh, Canada.
Canada.
Our home and native land, true pain, leave Palestina loud!
Leave Valentina loud!
Leave Palestina alone and then get back to your love!
We will not leave the streets to the Nazis.
They're in their own country.
This is not Gaza.
This is Canada.
Thank you for your support.
Keep fighting for freedom.
Why don't you f yourself, you motherfucker?
Don't, don't, don't you!
I mean I'll f*** you up.
Just on tape so I can tell, so I can be all good.
Get the f*** out of here!
Keep on the TV, Father!
Keep going!
Oh, now you're emboldened now that you're with the mob, eh?
Don't touch that!
Don't touch them!
Don't touch that!
What's wrong with you guys?
Who are you guys?
What do you mean you guys?
See this?
My grandfather spent five years of his life fighting the Nazis.
You think I'm gonna bend the knee to the Islamo Nazis?
No.
What crime am I committing?
No, come on.
Enforce the law.
Obey your oath.
Obey your oath.
You're enforcing the soldier.
What am I doing here?
Don't argue.
Hey! Hey! Goodbye!
This is Sharia law that you're seeing on the eve of a remembrance day.
These officers are disobeying their oath.
They are assaulting me.
They are bending the knee to the Islamo Nazis.
My grandfather went to war to more than five years fighting the bull Nazis.
Thank you.
I'm kind of glad he's not around now to see these so-called police officers.
Why Lawyers for Prisoners?00:06:25
Oh, he's taking my ball now.
Bending the need to Islamo Nazis.
Unbelievable.
This is Justin Trudeau's Canada.
Did not Cherry warn us about this five years ago?
He'll feedback the blood, but you guys are acting shamefully by practicing journalism.
Like, camera man and I are getting assaulted, and we're with no rest.
Do you understand why she wants to stop the mass immigration?
They ask themselves why.
They ask themselves why.
Because they want to stop the immigration.
They also want to stop the immigration.
Because it's not the fact that I just immigrants exactly the service that made fiscal work in the population.
I explained the faith that It's the Française.
We came here to recover our goods, so you can't chase us like that.
So do you think you have a right?
Of course we have a right, because here we are in the country of human rights.
For weeks and weeks, people have been donating for my legal fund and guess what?
Tide Bank have froze our money.
They closed our account.
I'd given up.
For weeks, I've been saying, What am I going to do?
I'm just going to go into court.
I can try and argue the case because I haven't got any money because I froze it.
And then I buried my head and I spoke to Ezra Levant two days ago.
You remember Ezra, my boss from Rebel Media in 2015?
I explained the situation to him.
If you've ever seen anyone work so quick, yeah?
Been 48 hours Ezra standing here.
By the end of the conversation, I had an email like this talking to my lawyers.
I put a recommendation for a top KC.
He stepped in.
Ezra, you're here now.
Tommy, everyone deserves a lawyer, especially for a complicated and grave matter where your liberty is at stake.
Even terrorists in the UK get lawyers, often paid for by the government.
The thought that you would not have a lawyer because Tide Bank has frozen your funds is outrageous.
It's outrageous.
So we've set up a website called savetommy.com, just like when you were in prison for contempt a few years back.
All the funds will be paid directly to your lawyers.
I've spoken with them, Carson Kaye, very trustworthy, excellent lawyers.
If there's any surplus left over afterwards, it'll go for a trust fund for your kids.
No money will go to you, Tommy.
It'll go to your lawyers and any surplus to the kids.
No, great, mate, because I don't know what's going to happen in jail.
Germany, there's lots of different legal funds we need to fight.
So, Ezra, I'm grateful for you coming over, man.
I'm sure, and as well, can you guarantee that you'll come to the UK, come meet me in prison, and give people updates?
I will.
That's actually what scares me the most.
If you're going to prison, that's one thing.
But I'm worried what they're going to do to you in prison.
They may, God forbid, may it not happen.
But I'm worried of what they might try and do.
Even if it's putting you in solitary confinement for a lengthy period of time, that's a kind of psychological torture.
I promise I will visit you in prison as I did when you were in Belmarsh.
And one of the things that we're talking to the lawyers about now is that if, God forbid, you're sentenced, that you are put in a prison situation where you're not, I even hate to say the words, where you're not harmed by, for example, extremist prison gangs, because there are some Islamic gangs that dominate some of the prisons.
I'm worried about that.
So we'll crowdfund your lawyers, Tommy, and we'll take care that if, God forbid, you're sentenced, that you're doing okay.
I'll do my best and I'll visit you as I did before.
The fight back literally starts in six hours.
I'm going to go smash a load more food on the way.
Then we're landing at Lutoner.
Go to savetommy.com.
All funds to the lawyers.
Any surplus to the kids.
Thank you ever so much, man.
From the river to the sea.
Can you articulate, sir, why you're here today?
None of your damn business.
Shame on you.
Terry Marky, good.
This is a genocide.
October 7th, you mean?
Change, change, ruin us.
Oh, hey, sir.
What part of Palestine are you from?
Hey, watch it.
I support resistance.
Resistance is justified.
Why cover your face?
You should be proud of what you're representing if you're not.
And if you are covering it, it's for what?
For what?
Hey, guys, what do you think about a male bio?
Why are you so rude, sir?
You're annoying.
I've played with women my whole career.
Trans women are women too.
You guys can go right off.
We're just asking people what they think of Ash Davis, the biological man playing with biological females.
Well, I have no objection to it, to be quite honest with you.
I'm not speaking to you.
If you do not leave, I will call the police and have you charge up.
Okay, Tommy, call the police.
I'm just asking questions.
I'm not doing anything.
I am her wife.
Her wife.
And you need to leave.
Does that mean he's a lesbian?
That individual has had women carted off the field on a regular basis with his brutal tackling.
I would say there could be a problem there because women are not as physically as strong as men, although some of them can be, but typically I would say no.
What?
Whoa, what?
Answer my question.
Did we trigger you?
Sir, sir, why are you playing with the woman?
Why are you taking away a real woman's spot?
I'm just asking questions.
You're not allowed over here.
Why?
Hey, don't touch me.
Why are you allowing men to play with biological females?
Sir, why are you taking away a spot from a real woman?
Hey, excuse me.
Don't touch me, sir.
Don't touch me.
Don't touch me.
What's wrong with you?
Why are men playing with women?
We saw it with our own eyes, and now they're changing.
Hey, coach, coach, why are you playing male players?
Why are you playing male players?
I'm not.
Biological males.
Why are you doing that?
What happened to chivalry?
It's not that.
Why?
Am I being transphobic?
Answer my question.
Did we trigger you?
I hope you can go rotten how you wife.
Oh, did we trigger you?
Sir, are you suffering from mental illness?
I'm sorry.
90% Victory March00:03:52
They see the loopholes that our incompetent government has created and they have abused it.
If they don't fulfill any of the demands, there will be a hunger strike to death.
We have the right to stay here.
We'll keep on striking until our last breath.
We wouldn't give up.
I'm here to speak out against what is happening.
It's not even about permanent residency.
Canada's reputation for being such a soft country has gone global.
It's very hard to get a job in Canada right now.
It's very difficult to secure even an interview.
It might be a little harder for the average Canadian to get a job now.
Conestoga made $140 million on tuition in the last 16 months.
And they're working in a minimum wage in a food restaurant.
That does not go well for the country.
Establish yourself here, you bring your entire family over, and then get use of all the social services that Canada offers.
There's a couple of colleges that the Globe and Mail investigated, and they didn't even have classrooms in them, but they had places to process your immigration file.
We're helping new Canadians succeed and shape our country for the better.
There's a section of the society which is becoming rich off of these loopholes.
Hello, my friends.
It's 12 noon.
We've been here for three hours and I am prepared to declare today a victory.
A 90% victory.
Not a 100% victory, but a 90% victory.
Here's what I mean.
One week ago, in this very place, I was arrested, and Staff Sergeant McDuff said it was because my mere presence was inciting a breach of the peace.
And what he meant was the Hamas thugs didn't like me here.
And the Hamas thugs said why?
Because I'm Jewish, because I'm a Zionist, but mainly because I'm a Canadian journalist who is exposing what they did.
And I thought I refused to allow that to be the precedent.
I refuse to allow my country to have a police force that says I can be taken off the sidewalk for committing no crime other than offending foreign terrorist activists in our country.
I just could not stand.
So I emailed our supporters of every race and every religion with one request.
Stand with me.
Stand with me, even if it means you could be arrested too.
And 100 people came out today, and I think that is why the police did the right thing.
Because for them to try and arrest 100 of us was simply logistically impossible, and it would be an international scandal.
So the police no longer saw it as the path of least resistance to arrest me because 100 of my closest friends were here with me.
So first of all, let me say thank you to you for keeping me out of jail.
Thank you.
Thank you.
But I think today was an important first step at retaking our streets.
Canada's streets belong to Canadians, and no foreign thugs have the power to kick us off our streets.
We proved that today in Toronto, and it's my hope that that is proven every day from coast to coast.
So thank you to everybody for coming out today.
I declare a victory over the forces of censorship and bullying and terrorism and extremism today.
Ordinary Canadians of all backgrounds won and the Hamas activists lost.
