Time Text
Welcome to today's edition of The Rush 247 Podcast.
Greetings, my friends.
Great to have you here.
It's Rush Limbaugh, and this is fun.
We are having a good time.
I know there's some frustrating things out there brought to us by the drive-by media.
But we have a we have an opportunity here to nuke all that stuff each and every day.
We do.
The drive-by media has got a problem of its own.
New York Daily News laying people off.
Univision laying people off.
Advertising revenues are down.
Not here, but they are in the drive-by media.
Great to have you, my friends.
800 28282.
And the email address, Lrushbaugh at EIBNet.com.
Communication.
Let me I have to go off on a tangent here for just a second, folks.
I have to share this with you.
Communication is what I do.
It is my business.
And I consider myself to be extremely, I'm leaning to the printer.
I got to print something out here because I just decided to do this.
Communication in my business.
And I'm, you know, I'm the mayor of Realville.
And so things to me are literal.
And I have spent, I wouldn't even be bothering you, but I've spent the last 20 minutes, 30 minutes, in a miscommunication.
Let me read something so you can ask you what you think.
This league, you're talking to somebody at a website, you want to order some stuff, okay?
And you get this, and you've ordered things on this website countless times.
So you've got an order history, and you have some outstanding orders.
Some things you've ordered that haven't yet been delivered.
Okay, you got the setup now.
You're on a website, you're actually on the phone with somebody.
Well, I did this via email, so we'll stick it in email.
I order things from a website.
There are outstanding orders that have not yet shipped, and I may be ordering more of this stuff, but I don't know yet.
Or am I buy it direct from the store?
I haven't figured out what I'm gonna do yet.
So in the midst of this, I get a note.
I'm being told by my colleague that an order from your store is being shipped in one day.
I said, wait a minute, I haven't ordered anything that would I haven't got a shipping notice.
I've been back.
What does that mean to you?
When I say to you, or when you get a note, I'm being told by my colleague that an order from your custom store is being shipped in one day.
What does that mean to you?
Means something coming to you tomorrow, right?
No, it's not what he meant.
What?
And this is for the last 30 minutes I've been going back and forth trying to could you find the order for me?
I don't, I haven't ordered anything this shipping tomorrow, particularly this product.
It's about a particular product here, and I haven't ordered any of these.
And that's not what he what he meant was I'm told by a colleague that if you order something today, it will ship tomorrow.
And all along, I have thought, I've been told that an order that I didn't make is shipping tomorrow.
And I've been going for the the reason I'm doing this, I could have been doing show prep the last 30 minutes.
I've been dealing with this.
Trying to figure out what the hell did I order.
In these days of credit card fraud, I mean you can't be too careful.
I don't know what this is.
I'm trying to figure out I didn't order any of these.
What do you mean they're coming tomorrow?
No, no, no.
That's I mean, I mean, if you order, we're shipping really fast, we'll ship it tomorrow.
I said, well, then why shouldn't you say would be instead of is I'm not getting it because I didn't order it.
That's the whole point.
I've been trying to track down an order I didn't make, and that's not what they were telling me.
They were trying to tell me that if I ordered something, it would ship tomorrow.
This place has a very, very slow shipping process.
Things in stock take two weeks before they even ship them.
And then they come from Land Tao Island, Hong Kong.
Via Japan, via Anchorage, via North Korea.
I'm sorry, South Korea, then they find a Louisville or wherever then they show up.
But I know though the my point here, I am a communication specialist, highly trained, highly educated, highly developed.
And it just that it's a learning experience.
It makes me think, okay, how do I say things to you?
And how are you interpreting?
I examine this stuff all the time.
I try to be as precise as I can.
In fact, it really gets frustrating.
I just got an email from a friend.
Rush, do you know?
Do you know that the popular vote win from Hillary is all from California?
Yeah, I've only been saying this for a week.
What am I doing here?
I have been telling you the popular vote for Hillary is going to come from New York and California.
And but Trump, I don't need to repeat all this.
So I'm sitting here pulling out, no wonder I'm losing my hair here.
I consider myself a communication specialist.
And I'm wasting my time.
I need to dumb myself down.
No, you do not know how frustrating this last one.
I'll bet you there have been 25 emails back and forth trying to trying to iron out an order that I thought had been placed for me that I didn't place that shipping tomorrow.
I really appreciate you indulging me, helping me get this off my chest, this therapeutic.
If I were a young snowflake at college, I'd be hidden in a closet crying about it and worried that Trump was going to come turn me into a transgender.
What do you think the transgender population of this country is?
What percentage?
One-tenth of one percent?
If that, if that and these people are acting like Trump's coming for them.
Trump's not even spoken about transgenders.
I don't think Trump said a thing about transgenders in the campaign, but they are convinced that Trump's coming for them.
So there's a couple stories here now.
Transgenders are banding together to change their names and to change their sexual identity so that Trump can't find them.
And they and they are dead serious.
And I don't just anything other than what they're officially known so that Trump can't find him.
It's Trump.
Trump is going to come find Trump, I what am I saying?
What do you ask?
Am I not just finished telling you how I say what I mean?
Trump.
They are Trump is gonna not Cruz, not Rudy.
Trump is going to come find them.
Trump's gonna find them wherever they are and kick them out of the country or make them go to a sex change or add a dictomy option, whatever they're gonna think that they're they're scared to death.
Many of them are on college campuses.
Oh, it is well.
It's it's fun.
Of course you can't believe you must believe this is the point 25 years ago we couldn't believe it.
Today we have to believe it.
This stuff is all true.
The one-tenth of one percent of the population is transgender is scared to death that Donald Trump is c.
Now, there's a caveat here.
Remember, this is all coming to us via the media.
And the media is practiced in lying and misstating and misrepresenting, like they're doing with this Trump transition business.
They're gonna keep at this.
What the what the what the media knows is the more they lie, the longer they lie, the more consistently they lie, the greater the odds, a greater number of people will believe it.
And that's what they're doing in this transition business.
They're not letting go, that the transition is in disarray, that Trump doesn't know what he's doing, uh, that uh he hadn't named anybody yet.
Of course, it's barely been over a week.
Most presidents haven't named anybody yet.
You know, George H. W. Bush had named two, I think.
Uh by one week after his election in 1988.
But there's nothing abnormal here whatsoever.
The Trump transition team is well oiled.
It's smoking hot.
The Trump transition team, they are preparing to drain the swamp.
Trump is making sure that everybody on his team is actually on his team.
He is making sure there are no lobbyists, and he is making everybody sign a form that they will not lobby for five years after leaving his administration.
He's making explicitly sure that what he promised during the campaign is happening and going to happen.
When they said they're going to drain the swamp, that's what they're going to do.
And the media can't, they can't, they can't get their arms around all of this, and they're trying to portray Trump as they think he is.
Neophyte, inexperienced, clueless, dangerous, bull in a China shop, doesn't know what he's doing.
That's what they're trying to spread out there.
And they they believe that the more consistently they do it, uh the greater the odds that a greater number of people will start believing it, which is why we're gonna keep focusing here on exposing the BS and the lies that they tell.
Let me just give you some highlights of what's coming up on the program today.
Uh these young snowflakes on college campuses all across the country, and the the millennials who are convinced we have to go to Mars to save our civilization.
And we got to do this in 30 years, or else we're all cooked, literally cooked.
The biggest shale oil discovery in the world has been found in Texas.
I was looking at Dr. Spencer, Dr. Royal Smith, our official climatologist here at the EIB network, is looking at his website today, and he discusses the whole no he and I have a friendly back and forth on this climate change hoax.
He doesn't believe it's a scientific hoax.
He thinks it's a policy hoax, a political hoax.
He thinks that there is warming because it happens all the time.
My point is man-made climate change is a hoax.
It is a political hoax designed to grow government, raise taxes, limit freedom.
It's I've been through all that.
Anyway, um, they are convinced the climate change fear moners are convinced that if we continue with fossil fuels, we're going to cook.
So the discovery of oil sends them into a panic.
The more oil, the more weaver continue to use fossil fuels.
Folks, there's nothing out there that can replace fossil fuels.
And there won't be for decades.
It isn't wind, it isn't solar.
Just stop and think of the obvious.
Think of a cargo airplane.
Think of a cargo airplane that's manufactured manufacturing, oh, what are millennials love?
Uh well, no, they're not the well, I can use it.
Yeah, okay.
You millennials will love your iPhones.
Do you know how they get here from China?
They're put on giant cargo airplanes, 747s, DC 10s, MD 11s that are flown here from China.
Or they're put on giant, giant cargo ships.
And you can't power, you're never going to get an airplane off the ground with wind, and you're never going to get an airplane off the ground with solar panels.
There is nothing.
You're never going to power a great cargo ship with wind or soil.
It just isn't going to happen.
We're nowhere near it.
And the more fossil fuels we discover, the better for everybody.
It's better for the economy, it's better for prices, it's better for commerce, because oil is the fuel of the engine of democracy.
Oh, and did they hate that?
Oh, that just sends them into a rabid uncontrolled rage when you tell.
So vast shale oil field in Texas could yield 20 billion barrels.
Which is great news, but on college campuses and in the far reaches of the left.
This will be greeted as an absolutely devastating piece of news.
Do you hear what the uh Reverend Dax, in fact, have a soundbite on this if you find it over?
Pardon me, folks, will I find it?
Grab audio soundbite.
What is it?
It is audio soundbite.
I thought I had it right here.
14.
Thank you for the help.
Audio soundbite 14, the Reverend Jackson, University of Michigan Ann Arbor yesterday.
Um he's being given an award honored for his five decades of civil rights activism.
And during the events, he delivered the keynote address and said, among other things President Obama should follow President Ford's example and offer a preemptive full pardon, an inoculation against politically motivated prosecution in the spirit of healing the divisions in our country.
To do otherwise will only exacerbate divisions and hardened feelings on both sides.
It would be a monumental moral and political mistake to pursue the prosecution of Hillary Clinton.
Wait a minute.
She did something wrong.
She committed crimes, and you can only be pardoned if you commit crimes.
Well, you you could be pardoned for the Commission of Future.
You could be pardoned for crimes discovered in the future.
You you come on.
All right, Mr. Snerdley, the official program observer says he did not understand half of what the uh Reverend Jackson uh said.
Let me let me translate this for you.
Obama should follow politically motivated divisions, healing civil rights.
Did that help?
It didn't.
Okay, here's what he said.
President Obama should follow President Ford's example and offer a preemptive full pardon for Hillary Rodden Clinton, an inoculation against politically motivated prosecution in the spirit of healing the divisions in our country.
To do otherwise will only exacerbate end divisions and harden feelings on both sides.
It would be a monumental moral and political mistake to pursue the prosecution of Hillary Clinton.
So my question is, you mean she's committed crimes?
Why would you pardon somebody?
You only pardon people who have committed crimes that you know about or crimes you don't yet know about that when you discover you're going to forgive.
You can't pardon somebody for future crimes.
Then you can't pardon Hillary and she go out and set up another private server, start collecting money from Bahrain or wherever for Hillary's daughter's presidential run in 2024.
Can't do that.
But reaction, though, is a pardon for what?
You know, everybody's discussing this.
Is it not a tantamount admission that Hillary Clinton's violated the law?
Doesn't is this now something we can all agree on?
By the way, this pardon of Nixon left melted down when that happened.
I mean, don't sit there and think everybody just was kumbaya and accepted it and went on.
They were livid about it.
Okay, so we got that.
Just another headlines here.
Obama.
Obama, get this.
During a conference call on Monday with his grassroots supporters, President Obama admitted to being disappointed by last week's.
He started criticizing Trump now, have you noticed?
Folks, I need to take you back to one of my original theories about why Trump was treating Obama the way he was.
Do you remember?
My theory, excuse me, theory is that he did this because it's a dangerous time in our country because of the election results and because of the shock.
The losers feel that the losers still have the power for two months.
We have a very dangerous situation.
Barack Obama, who has been totally repudiated.
We hope that he doesn't look at it that way.
For our sakes, we hope his narcissism is such that he still doesn't believe it was about him, as he said.
Because if he starts thinking he's been personally repudiated to be even more dangerous.
No, no, seven weeks.
Whatever it is, till the inauguration.
And all the levers of power are still controlled by these guys.
No reason to provoke them.
No reason at all.
So be nice and thank Obama and tell him you're going to be seeking his advice.
He's a great guy.
This is what Trump has been doing.
It's my theory to explain why.
But now I see Obama's starting to get, and he was doing the same.
Obama was being accommodating and he was being magnanimous toward Trump.
Now it's beginning to change a little bit, and it worries me.
We'll have to see how this plays out.
Obama's already one of the things he's thinking of doing a drilling moratorium on offshore oil around Alaska and so forth till 2022.
Anyway, that's still not the story.
Obama told these grassroots supporters to stop moping that he's gonna go back to community organizing.
I love that.
See, the George Clooney's wife, Amal Clooney has unloaded on the Trumpster out there.
Maybe she can get together in Huma Abedin, and they can share war stories about their husbands.
Instead of wasting their time on Trump.
Obama is going to go back to community organizing.
He indicated he will return to community organizing when he leaves the White House.
I promise you, the next year, Michelle and I, I'm gonna be right there with you and the clouds are gonna start part, and the sun is gonna come back out.
And we're gonna be busy.
Involved in the amazing stuff that we've been doing all these years before.
And that means staying engaged, staying involved, figuring out how do we move forward, not only to protect what we've accomplished, but Also see this as an opportunity.
I'm telling you, I want you to get ready.
Not going anywhere, folks.
And the drive-by's will will be more than happy to give Obama whatever airtime he wants.
By the way, Obama's on a world tour now.
He's in the middle of a joint press conference with Angela Merkel in Germany, and he's saying it could have been no better partner on the world stage than Angela Merkel.
Fine and dandy.
What he's doing, according to news reports, Obama is traveling the Western Alliance explaining Donald Trump to these people.
These are all the elites in the establishment types of Western Europe.
And Obama's out there explaining the Trump election.
Explaining who Donald Trump is to these people.
They don't have any idea who he is.
It's just incredible how detached they are.
Hey, let me ask you all a question.
And I'm serious here.
What is what is Obama doing?
Going around the world explaining Trump's election anyway.
I mean, George W. Bush didn't do that when Obama was elected.
And I don't think George H. W. Bush did it when Clinton was elected.
I don't know if Clinton did it when W was elected, but what's Obama doing?
Is it possible?
Is it slightly remotely likely?
Is it somewhat possible that Obama would be attempting to put together a group of foreign leaders to work against Trump?
How dare you say that, Rush?
How dare you say that an outgoing president would go around the world asking world leaders to sabotage his his success.
Well, wait a minute, Ted Kennedy did.
When Ronaldus Maxis was president, by the way, I need to tell all of you in this audience or clue you in on something.
I may repeat things that you've heard me say over the course of many years.
Understand something.
The tune-in factor that we are getting right now is huge.
There are new people listening to this program that have never listened to it before.
The subscribers, rushlimbaugh.com, we are setting records.
Same thing with the with the with the limbaug letter.
The pre-orders for our latest great book for young people, Rush Revere and the Presidency.
I mean, it's it's going really well.
As such, folks, there are people who are tuning in, do not have a context.
That's why I say it takes six weeks of steady listening to really understand.
And that's just your foundation.
It gross to remember.
You need at least six weeks once you start listening to this program to be able to get with it and go with the flow and understand it.
It takes at least six weeks for there to be an established context.
But knowing that, I'm trying to speed the process up.
So many of you have heard me talk about things involving Reagan before.
Understand I'm doing it not because I've run out of things to say, but rather there's new tune-in factor.
And it is very well possible that many people will never have heard some of these things that you've heard me say over the years.
So I appreciate your indulgence.
What I was going to say is that back when Reagan was president, the Democrats were fearful and panicked and so forth.
Reagan was going to start a nuclear war.
They believed all of their idiocy back then as much as they do today.
And Ted Kennedy actually sent letters to a couple of different Soviet leaders, asking them to be patient and to not overreact to anything the neophyte ignoramus Reagan did because it wasn't going to be long and they would get rid of it.
Reagan would be gone and the Democrats would be back in the White House and all would be cool.
And I am not making this up.
Ted Kennedy, we didn't find this out until the Soviet Union imploded, and the Berlin Wall came down, and a number of files locked away at a KGB were released.
And in those files were these letters from Ted Kennedy, who was senator from Massachusetts, who was actively undermining Ronald Reagan.
It didn't work.
Reagan did bring about the demise of the communist Soviet Union and Communist East Germany and the Berlin Wall.
So the communists found a new home and a new movement.
Climate change became their new movement, and America became their new home.
And you know, it's a serious thing.
It's a deadly serious thing.
There's an analogy.
Republicans win the House for the first time in 40 years in 1994 and make the mistake of assuming that the country had moved to the right and had become conservative, and therefore the Republicans in the House began to implement their agenda but didn't teach.
Well, they did it.
They didn't explain it.
They assumed everybody knew.
And in large part, there was a factor in the election, but also Democrat scandals in the House had reached a point where people just wanted to brew them out and try something new.
Same thing with this.
When the Soviet Union fell, everybody made the mistakes the end of communism that the death blow had been delivered.
But that wasn't the case.
And so we stopped fighting communism.
We stopped teaching its evils.
We stopped informing people of its encroachments and its expansion elsewhere.
And now communism and Marxism have become very, very important ranking curriculum items on major college campuses.
Marxism is openly taught, communism subtly taught.
While a lot of us think we defeated communism, we did, but we didn't.
We defeated the Soviet Union, but not communism.
Communism still has a very large mansion in this country.
It's found on college campuses, it's found in Hollywood.
It's found in any number of places that have the power to manipulate minds and influence opinion.
So these evils never go away anyway.
It's a constant battle to keep them defeated or suppressed.
And when the Soviet Union imploded, we stopped.
George H. W. Bush began talking about a new world order and so forth and so on.
And the Soviets ended, but the communists didn't.
Climate change, global warming became the new home for displaced communists, the new movement, and the United States became their new locale, their new home.
So I raised the question here because I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.
Obama who is a Democrat, he's a liberal Democrat.
He is a far-left radical Democrat.
He believes his agenda is the greatest thing since it's sliced bread.
And here Trump has come along and won and just shocked and stunned everybody.
They still can't believe it.
They have not come to grips with it on the left and the media.
And I wouldn't doubt at all.
I can't prove it.
I wouldn't doubt at all if Obama would run around the world and try to gin up opposition to Trump.
If he thought it necessary to save his agenda.
You say that it resigning president leaving office would undermine his own country.
No, no, no.
That's not.
That's not I don't think that's Obama thinks he's doing.
He thinks he's saving America as he's been doing the transformation.
But I don't doubt that it's possible.
I'm not accusing him of it.
By the way, another column today.
Boston Globe, some guy named Cohen, I hope he fails, is the headline.
It's everywhere now.
You see how I opened doors.
I am a classic example of the pioneers taking the arrows.
In 2009, I say, I hope Obama fails.
Everybody knows what I mean, but they act like they don't.
And now liberal after liberal after liberal says with impunity, with joy, with happiness, with pride, I hope Trump fails.
And nobody's jumping on their case.
Nobody's accusing them of undermining the presidency.
Nobody's accusing these people who want Trump to fail.
Nobody's saying about them that they're harming America, like it was said about me.
No, these people are being treated as intellectual giants.
What else do we have here before Chuck Todd?
F. Chuck Todd, NBC, was on MSNBC yesterday, and he said that it sure looks like the Democrats are trying to quietly sideline the Clintons.
He pointed out that considering the Clintons dominated much of the air supply in the Democrat Party for the last 30 years, it's notable that they seemingly have evaporated in the past week.
They're nowhere.
What Chuck doesn't say here, folks, that this confirms is that Clintons were out selling access.
Hillary and Bill Clinton with their foundation were selling access, selling American policy in exchange for big dollar donations to them.
Their foundation and them personally.
And now that Hillary hasn't been elected, all that money's been donated for what?
I mean, nothing.
What are the donors going to do now to get their money back if they can?
But what Chuck Todd means here, the Democrats are throwing the Clintons overboard, it sure looks like the Democrats are trying to quietly sideline the Clintons.
It means the Clintons have zero value.
Right?
If they have nothing to sell.
The Clintons were valuable to the Democrats as long as they had something to sell, or as long as they look like they might return to power, or as long as they were at front and center of the movement of money around the globe, which is what the Clinton Global Initiative is about, is being involved in the flow of money around the world.
The Clintons taking whatever they can get for themselves at the same time.
Hillary was a defective political product propped up by an extensive team of fixers, but they don't need her now.
And they don't need Biden.
The Obamas are gone.
Well, the Obamas are leaving, but he's not gonna vanish.
But the Clintons are gone, the Bidens are gone.
One week, a little over a week now.
Go back to the day of the election, the day before, the week before.
And look what would have been the case had they won.
Obama ascendant, Hillary and Bill Clinton ascended, Biden ascended, Democrat Party ascendant.
Look at what's this one election, what it has exposed.
The dire straits the Democrats have actually been in all these eight years.
And how somewhat phony their claim to massive popularity and total devotion.
It was all not true.
And now even F. Chuck Todd at NBC is lamenting the passing of the Clintons.
They're no longer visible.
You just can't see them.
By the way, Hillary did show up for a speech last night.
You know, this is incredible.
I am not supposed to mention these things.
But I'm sorry.
You know, I have the vastly developed powers of observation.
I have a highly tuned curiosity.
You combine the vast powers of observation with keen curiosity.
That equals profound learning.
And Mrs. Clinton showed up last night, the Children's Defense Fund.
People hadn't seen her since the day after the election.
As I say, you're not supposed to say these things, but my friends, if you can catch the video, you just need to look at it for a minute and a half if we catch a still shot.
The difference in Mrs. Clinton's appearance from say the last week of the campaign or even the day after the election to last night.
It's striking.
Gone was the Princess Diana haircut or whatever they were trying to make it look like.
Gone was there was no makeup.
Their hair was flat and just hanging there.
Obviously was no makeup.
I mean, obviously, I know you're not supposed to say these things.
Saying these things is considered to be misogynistic and anti-women is not obviously human beings.
She had a vastly dramatically different appearance.
And I have a still shot here.
I can't show the steel shot to you on the on the ditto cam.
I couldn't get closer to close enough to it for you to see it anyway, no matter how I zoomed in.
But it's striking.
The eyes.
It's just uh striking the difference.
And it it's so much phoniness.
I think what we Mrs. Clinton we saw last night's the real Hillary Clinton.
The tired.
She admitted that she's been wanting to curl up with a book and pretend that nothing in the last six months ever happened.
And she told him this.
She told him how tough it was.
She told you she didn't want to be there last night, but she felt a duty to the children to show up.
Half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair.
Mr. Snerdley just told me that he doesn't buy this for a minute.
He thinks Mrs. Clinton's appearance last night was strategic and purposeful.
She says every he said everybody's blaming her, gunning for her, talking about how she blew it.
So it's quite natural that she comes out and acts like the poor beat-up victim, suffering mightily, evoking sympathy from people is pretty much what you think, right?
Because she's plotting her future.
I said, what do you mean?
She's 69, going on 80.
What future?
She thinks she's got another 10 years.
This election's over, but she's plotting these people.
They're the Clinton's rush.
They never go away.
I can't deny that.
But we'll put it in the mix.
I have to admit to Clinton's plot.
That very little is real.
Snerdley's theory, she wanted to look like that last night for the express purpose of, oh, how suffering it must be.
How difficult it must be poor Hillary?
She worked so hard and to be savaged by some brute like Trump who's now trying to find all the transgenders and move them to Mexico.
Oh my God, how bad could it be?
And then there's this the Huffing and Puffington Post.
Somebody there named Sam Stein.
The Clinton campaign was undone by its own neglect and a touch of arrogance.
Say staffers.
Not Sam Stein.
Sam Stein just the vessel here, Clinton staffers.
This always happens after a loss.
Passage of time goes by.
And then the staff starts whining and moaning and leaking so that they don't get the blame for it.
Staffers, nameless, faceless staffers, they always end up getting the blame for a debacle like this.
So these people supposedly leaking, and what they're saying is that Hillary was arrogant.
The campaign thought they had it in the bag, didn't even go to Wisconsin, didn't even take Trump seriously.
They thought they're going to win five or six points.
You know what?
If I were Hillary, I might think of suing the media.
And their polling units.
Why did they think they were so ahead?
Why did anybody think Hillary was up five to six points?
Why did anybody think the election was over before we voted?
Why didn't anybody think that?
The Clintons clearly did, and so did their staff.
Grounds for a lawsuit.
Quote, they had staff on the ground and lots of volunteers, but they weren't running a massive program because they thought they were up six to seven points.
Democrats, if it's one of the things I've been saying, they ran a conventional inside the beltway political blueprint campaign against an unconventional opponent that nobody knew how to program for.
And then they bought Hookline and Sinker, the leftist media, the leftist spin, and believed it all.
Not that they needed that.
