Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
And greetings, my friends, and welcome.
Great to have you here, Rush Limbaugh, back at it behind the golden EIB microphone.
Looking forward.
We're chatting with you today.
The telephone number is 800 28282.
If you want to send an email, L Rushbo at EIB net.us.
So I guess this is a new normal now, folks.
It just it never ends.
We have we have related, perhaps coordinated terror attacks.
No question about them.
Terror attacks.
Terror attacks launched by Islamist supremacists.
People who believe Sharia law should be the law of the land in this country.
And what do we have?
We have the political class, elites in both parties running out every damn time.
No, no, no.
It's not what you see.
This isn't terrorism.
It can't possibly be terrorism.
There is no terrorism in Islam.
There is terrorism in Islam.
In Islamic supremacist supremacy, there is terrorism.
It is in their scripture.
It is how they accomplish their objectives.
And we're going to sit here and we're going to keep pretending it's not happening.
We're going to be in denial like this as long as we have people leading this country as we have now.
And we're going to end up not being who we are.
You remember, ladies and gentlemen, Trump, the first night the Republican convention, Trump was not mocked and laughed at and deeply criticized, made fun of because the theme of his convention was make America safe again.
Remember how the media called that fear-mongering?
And a nightmarish view of America.
And they said that Trump's got this dark vision of this country, this dark assessment of this country.
Well, if you look at the polling data, and if you look at the electoral college breakouts right now, and if you look at all the problems that the drive-bys admit that Hillary is having with the African American vote and with the Hispanic vote, guess what else?
The drive-bys are backed now to this great fear they have that a number of Trump supporters are people who have not voted in many years because they're fed up and they're not being found to be polled or any of that.
There is grave concern on the left, and yet they they they fail to understand the connection that Trump's voters have with him, and this is the kind of thing that's a big part of it.
And it's it's it's amazing the bubble that our so-called betters live in and the reality that's right in front of their noses that they refuse to see.
A great example, the drive-by media was outraged at Trump for supposedly jumping the gun and calling the bombing in Manhattan a bombing.
They were angrier at Trump for calling it a bombing than they were angry at the bombing.
It's stunning to witness this.
Now I think I know why they're mad.
Trump really tricked them last week.
He told them he was gonna have a press conference in Washington, where he was going to admit finally, after exhaustive research, that there was no doubt now that Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii, that he was not Kenyan.
So the drive-bys assembled, and they figured they were going to have a great event where Trump had to uh shame himself and admit that he had been wrong, and they were gonna have the time of their lives.
They were gonna write story after story after story about how Trump had to admit that he was wrong.
He was a buffoon, he was in it, he was irresponsible, he had the stories written.
That's not what happened.
Trump for twenty or thirty minutes had general after general after retired military person after retired military person come out and endorse him.
Trump led it off by noting how beautiful the room they were in was.
It happened to be his hotel in Washington, which he pointed out was coming in early and under budget.
And in the last minute or so, Trump's oh, by the way, uh we've confirmed that Obama was born in uh in in Hawaii.
Uh it was Hillary Clinton who got this whole birther notion started back in 2008.
She started it, I'm finishing it.
Drive-by's livid.
They had been tricked.
Trump had tricked them into showing up where ostensibly he was gonna fall on the sword and admit what a buffoon he was.
That's what they really thought they were gonna get.
And then Trump shifts gears on him, shows all these ex very powerful, great-looking military guys endorsing him for reasons exactly like what then happened over the weekend with these attacks.
That he's the only guy that seems to be interested in defending the country who happens to be running for president.
So they were livid.
So I can understand them being angry.
And I can understand them want them, I mean they're salivating.
Trump tricked them.
They want to reverse it.
They want to trick Trump.
They want to have a reason to be able to write that he's a buffoon, and he denied them that reason after setting them up and making them think that he was giving them that opportunity.
So they end up being angrier at Trump for calling a bombing a bombing.
They were angrier at Trump for doing that than they were angered by the bombing.
Hillary Clinton, zombie Hillary, did you see her Saturday night?
Did you did you?
Who in the world in her campaign lets this happen?
How in the world could they send her out looking tired, dazed, uh drugged, I don't know, out of it.
Who could send her out?
Well, it was an emergency, Mr. Limboy.
We really didn't have any choice.
We had to get her out of bed.
Yeah, but it wasn't 3 a.m. doesn't matter what it was, we had to get her out there.
Well, she wasn't ready for on the spot, whatever she had to do.
It folks, it was it's a shame.
It's a shame.
The poor woman just didn't I I don't know how to describe it.
I'm hesitant to get into physical characterizations, but she just didn't look there.
Even today she had a presser today for a little bit, uh, answered four questions, all from female reporters.
Should we make note of that or not?
I think we should.
And she was glancing down at note cards at every answer.
This is her what's in her heart, what she really thinks about these bombings.
Well, by the way, she called them bombings too.
She called them bombings shortly after Trump called them bombings.
But then she chastised Trump for calling them bombings, jump of the gun.
So CNN went in and edited her comments and took her reference to bombing out.
You notice how much of that there's been going on lately, the media editing Hillary to save her, and they did it in this case.
She called the bombing a bombing as well.
After criticizing Trump for calling it a bombing, maybe before.
And so CNN edited Hillary calling it a bombing out of her remarks while at the same time they were blasting Trump for calling a bombing a bombing.
Now, Hillary's first response, it was last night, I said Saturday night, the days have run together.
Um, I mean it was so low energy, really, folks.
She looked like they had just awakened her.
It was so bad it even started trending a hashtag trending on Twitter called Zombie Hillary.
I didn't make that up.
I would like to claim credit for it, but I can't.
Somebody on Twitter did it.
Well, until Twitter decided to sabotage it so that it wouldn't.
Oh, yeah, that happened too.
So CNN protects Hillary by editing out the fact she references the bombing.
And then Twitter eliminates the hashtag.
Zombie Hillary.
Anyway, doesn't matter.
It was so bad that Hillary had to do a D a do over this morning on the tarmac at Westchester County Airport.
I didn't catch everything she said.
Did Brian, did you did she put the bombers, the slashers, the stabbers and the bombers?
Did she did she put them in her basket of deplorables?
She didn't, did she?
I'll bet you a dollar to a donut that she didn't put the bomber in the slasher, e slashers in her basket of deplorable.
The basket of deplorables is reserved for Trump.
And his supporters, half of his supporters, but the bombers, the terrorists?
No way.
They would never go into her basket of deplorables.
Did she talk about the need for us to respect our enemies and have empathy for their points of view?
Because she did that once, you know.
And she usually says that we must have that.
In fact, that's her definition of smart power.
Her definition of smart diplomacy, smart defense, whatever, is to is to empathize.
You doubt me?
Don't doubt me.
It was December 3rd, 2014, quote, this is what we call smart power.
Well, it's this is what we call SMART power.
And she went on like that, saying, using every possible tool and partner to advance peace and security, leaving no one on the sidelines, showing respect even for one's enemies, trying to understand that insofar as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective.
So here's Hillary wanting to empathize with the bombers, willing to empathize with the slashers, wanting to empathize with the militant Islamic terrorists.
And yet it is Donald Trump and his voters who are the deplorables.
And then Obama.
Yes, I heard about this.
I heard about Obama went to a fundraiser over the weekend.
And it's interesting, folks.
He says this line.
I don't almost at every fundraiser.
He says this when there is limited media, when there aren't many, just a pool reporter.
He says it to big donors.
This was an audience of 65 people that had paid anywhere from 7500 to 65,000 to be in there and listen to him speak.
And he said, so this should not be a close election, but it will be a close election.
And the reason it'll be is not because of Hillary's flaws, but rather because structurally we've become a very polarized society.
And if all you're doing is watching Fox News and listening to Rush Limbaugh, a lot of misinformation on a regular basis, it's very hard for you to think that you're going to vote for somebody who you've been told is taking the country in the wrong direction.
Now he does this at fundraising.
He doesn't say this kind of thing publicly very much.
The reason for this.
But when he's speaking to fundraisers, in fact, I'll give you a little comparative lesson here.
It was uh in the second term of George W. Bush's presidency, and he was coming down here to South Florida for a fundraiser appearance to donors, not people who had not donated.
This was this was a glad hand shake hands.
Hey, how are you doing?
We love you.
Uh little cocktail party uh for existing donors, big donors.
It was a local house down here.
I was invited to go.
I went there.
And after the cocktail party, what happened is the donors then assemble.
I'm sure how the Democrats do it too.
The donors assemble, and the president came in and made remarks, and he spoke for 45 minutes off the cup, cuff.
And I I know I mentioned this to you, and I've referenced this a number of times.
The way Bush spoke to those donors was unlike the way anybody saw him speak on TV in front of cameras.
There was no hesitancy.
There was no stuttering, there was no, it wasn't unsure of himself at any point.
He was just matter-of-fact A, B, C, D, and E. Here's what's going on in the world, here's what I'm doing, here's what your donations have allowed me to do as president blah blah.
And he he he held nothing back.
And in fact, at one point he looked at me and said, You better not say anything about this on the radio.
And everybody laughed.
And I put my hands on who me, everything here's off the record.
Everybody laughed.
But that's the point.
He says things in these donor groups that they don't say, and that's what Obama does.
I get they all do it.
It's it's part of the song and dance you have to do with donors.
You have to do certain things to make them feel special.
If you're not giving them an ambassadorship, if you're not helping them get through a tax audit, if you're not setting them up in wind and solar failing businesses, if you're not doing so, you've got to make them feel special somehow.
And this is standard operating procedure.
And one of the ways the president does it, and I'm sure senators too, is you feed them information not in the public domain that the president himself would never even say publicly, or not very much.
And that's what this was.
I'm sure that's what Obama does at these fundraisers of his.
And that's a fundraiser where he said bitter clingers, talking about religious Christians and white people he thinks are so unnerved by what's going on.
They cling to their guns and their religion for any sense of normalcy.
It's these kinds of events where these statements.
come in.
This one where he blames me in Fox News.
So it's to donors that he makes the statement.
Now, why?
Well, the donors, by many definitions, are going to be some of your most ardent, some of your most energetic, some of your most extreme supporters.
I mean, you got people made up of people who bundle other donations and make their own.
You're talking about people who deal with minimums of 250,000 in either fundraising or donations or combination.
So they are true believers.
And they want red meat.
And apparently Fox News and Rush Limbaugh equal red meat for these people.
And Obama knows it, so he fed them the red meat.
That's why I am I'm very honored, folks.
I am one of the premier fundraisers for the Democrats.
My name gets thrown out any time they want to really irritate extreme leftists and extract big bucks from them.
If I got a commission on all of the money the Democrats have raised by maligning me and throwing my name out there, I could retire.
I could have retired many, many moons ago.
Now he doesn't say this kind of stuff in public, and the reason he doesn't say it in public is because why are you mentioning Fox and Limboy?
You're just elevating them.
You're just making them even more important.
You're just admitting that you can't control them.
That's why he doesn't say this stuff in public.
But the small donor groups who will give even more money and write even bigger checks because they have been conditioned to think the real enemy in America is me and Fox News.
And so that's why it's done.
Some people say, Russ, you're living rent-free in Obama's head.
Maybe, but it's also a calculated usage because it works for their fundraising.
Obama, by the way, at a press conference today said that there is no connection.
He sees no connection whatsoever between the Minnesota mall stabbing attack and the bombings in New York City.
Nothing see there.
Not one connection.
On CNN, this was about 10:30 between 1015 and 10.30.
You ready for this?
But yeah, that's another thing.
They've caught the bombing suspect.
They captured a guy in New Jersey.
And I swear I thought the picture was Cuba.
When you see the picture, because the only thing in the picture are dented, beat-up lime green Volkswagen rabbits.
Is that what they're called?
Rabbits.
Bugs, that's it.
The bug.
The kind of Arlo Guthrie drove to the draft office.
No, that was the bus.
He drove the bus to the draft office in Alice's restaurant.
These are lime green.
Look, it looks like downtown Havana where this guy was arrested.
Actually, New Jersey.
There he is on the stretcher.
Anyway, there was a there was a uh an expert on CNN, and I didn't get the name between 1015 and 1030, who said, literally, quoting, two or three lone wolves may have gotten together.
You know, the info bay banker, what happened?
What happened?
Well, don't worry about it.
It's nothing but lone wolves, two or three of them may have gotten together.
How do lone wolves get together?
Okay, so the president is blaming me and Fox News for Hillary's low polling numbers, not blaming her.
And he's oh, but he is blaming sexism.
American sexism, or I should say sexism in America, is actually holding Hillary back as well.
And then Hillary is blaming Trump for domestic terrorism.
I have that right.
So the buck stops Where by the way, it was pointed out to me that Hillary Clinton would no way uh put the bomber or the slasher in the basket of deplorables.
Because it's entirely possible that the fathers of the bomber and the slasher might show up at the next Hillary rally.
Well, you remember, the father of the guy that blew up the gay nightclub in Orlando ended up right behind Hillary on stage at a at a rally that she did soon thereafter.
And he was out there bragging about it, and she said, and their staff said, well, we didn't know.
But it's entirely possible that the family of these uh perps could well end up at the next Hillary rally uh rally.
So obviously they will not end up being in her basket of deplorables.
Uh further comment on all of this, after having set the table here, we'll be back and continue that right after this, folks.
Don't go away.
Welcome back.
Rushlin bought a cutting edge of societal evolution, 800-282-2882.
If you want to be on the phones.
Okay, so let's review before we get into the commentary aspect here.
Saturday, guy goes on a stabbing spree at a shopping mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota, while making references to Allah.
As in Allahu Akbar.
Nine people injured.
Giant press conference, FBI, local police, everybody that you can think of is there at the stage to announce what they are doing vis-a-vis the investigation.
Meanwhile, a device explodes in Seaside Park, New Jersey.
About 80 minutes later, 80 miles away in New York City, a bomb goes off.
In Chelsea, in fact.
Almost 30 people hurt.
An unexploded device found nearby turns out to be a pressure cooker bomb, and you want a story about that.
It happened to be a reporter who saw it.
You know what the reporter thought it was?
Honest to God, I'm not making this up.
Reporters saw this second bomb and said, wow, that looks like a science experiment.
Now why would a reporter stumbling across what is obviously a bomb think it is a science project?
Well, remember the kid from Dallas?
The young Islamic kid who made a science project that was a clock.
And there was nothing technologically advanced about the clock.
It was actually a timer, explosive device.
But everybody oh, what a great kid!
See, this proves it.
This proves that Muslims have nothing to do with terrorism.
It's just a great science project.
So the media reports this garbage, and it sticks with them.
So potential bombs are just nothing but science projects.
That's what this reporter thought.
Thank God the reporter fought to call somebody.
Because there was a second device, and this was shrapnel inside a pressure cooker.
That is a serious bomb.
The same kind of bomb that the terrorists, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
We're trying to empathize with these people, right?
The same kind of bomb, how the hell would that?
Same kind of bomb that terrorists used at the Boston Marathon.
Pressure cooker shrapnel in there.
Then the all-left, the wacko extremist leftist mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio comes out.
First reaction, the new normal.
It's not terrorism.
I don't care whatever you think, it isn't terrorism.
You got it?
It isn't terrorism.
In fact, he didn't even want to use the word.
It was a deliberate act.
What will they call this now?
Non-workplace violence.
They're gonna have to call it something.
If they don't want to call it terrorism, what are they going to call it?
Non-workplace violence.
Fort Hood, as you know, the terrorism there was workplace violence.
So the after this, after the guy goes in a stabbing spree in Minnesota, making references to Allahuak Bar, nine people injured.
A bomb goes off, Seaside Park, New Jersey.
Then 80 miles away in New York City, Another bomb goes off, and another bomb found 30 people there wounded.
Same kind of bomb terrorists used in Boston.
The mayor comes out, it's not terrorism.
It was a deliberate act, he said, but it wasn't terrorism.
The drive-by media then immediately turned their fury on.
Donald Trump.
Because Donald Trump called it a bombing.
He jumped a gun.
He said it was a bombing before anybody really knew.
Well, he said it was a bombing before the official investigation had concluded that it was a bomb.
No, no, no, no.
Bad, bad no, no.
That is profiling.
That is politically incorrect.
You're not supposed to say what everybody knows.
You're not supposed to identify what everybody knows.
You're not supposed to call terrorism terrorism.
So they turn their fury on Trump for being irresponsible.
Proving, they say, that Trump is unfit for office.
Why he called a bomb a bomb.
And we can't have somebody like that in the White House.
That poses such a great threat to our population and the populations of the world.
To have a president who sees a bomb and calls it a bomb, can't have that.
They turn their fury.
Hey, not trying to be funny, folks, but you can't help it.
That's exactly what happened.
And Hillary also called it a bombing, and then see and then she criticized Trump for calling it a bombing after she herself did.
And CNN edited her saying that.
The Minnesota attacker was killed by law enforcement, was later identified by his father as Dahir Adan from Somalia.
We don't know if he was a Somali pirate or not, but we didn't know he was Somali terrorist.
After the stabbing attack, ISIS claimed that this guy was one of their soldiers.
So at the press conference the next day, the FBI said they're investigating the multiple stabbings by an Islamic guy making references to Allah claimed by ISIS as a soldier as a possible act of terrorism.
They're not sure.
They don't know what the motive could be.
It's just like right out of San Bernardino.
They don't know what the motive was.
They can't find the motive.
They're looking hard, they're overturning every rock.
They are interviewing anybody that might know anything.
They, God bless them, cannot come up with a motive.
And until they can come up with a motive, they can't say that what happened this weekend was terrorism.
Authorities in New York and New Jersey are reported to be searching for a link between the incidents, but it's going to be tough because they're a bunch of lone wolves.
And by definition, lone wolves don't have linkage.
Except on CNN, an expert said, well, maybe these three lone wolves just coincidentally acted at the same time.
Well, then how can they be lone wolves?
If there was coordination.
How can that how can that possibly be?
But that's what they say.
That's their story.
Expert in CNN, two or three lone wolves may have gotten together.
That's the exact quote.
Two or three lone wolves may have gotten together.
So Minnesota, New York, authorities, New Jersey, authorities reported to be searching for a link between the incidents.
While everybody in America can tell them what the link is.
Radical Islamic terrorism.
No.
We are not supposed to say so.
Trump's dead on right, calling out bombing and terrorism.
And he didn't just do that.
He went on and attached bomb Obama and Hillary to it.
And you hear Louie went up.
Did you hear that?
Hillary goes to Silicon Valley, or she makes a plea.
She first thing she said was she rips Trump because his rhetoric is creating all these terrorists.
His anti-Muslim, anti-Hispanic, anti this, anti that rhetoric is making all these otherwise worldly, peaceful people really mad.
That's right.
You have peaceful, worldly people, highly sophisticated.
They're minding their own business, and They hear Trump.
Trump makes them so mad they become terrorists.
Hillary's out there warning everybody that's exactly what's happening.
Except then, practically the next thing out of her mouth was she asked her supporters in Silicon Valley to help her on the internet stop the recruitment of terrorists for ISIS and other groups.
So I said, and I saw I said, wait a minute now.
If Trump is causing all of these new terrorists to join up because he's making them mad, things he's saying, then what in the world is the internet and recruitment got to do with it?
What do you mean internet recruitment?
I thought it was Trump's fault.
But that's what she's out there saying.
And not looking good when she's saying it, folks.
It's not something is wrong.
I guess I guess she didn't have pneumonia anymore.
Well, she's up and about.
I mean, I I don't know.
Just doesn't look well.
So terrorist attacks, democrat denials of domestic terrorism, unvetted refugees.
Hillary is promising to increase the numbers of these kinds of people.
She wants to allow into the country by factors of 100,000.
Ransom payments to Iran.
Do you realize the latest number?
It might be 33 billion dollars we've transferred to Iran to get this nuke deal done.
If anybody, if what is Iran?
Iran is the world's largest state-sponsored terrorism, and nobody denies it, not even John Kerry, who, by the way, served in Vietnam.
Could we not then say that maybe Obama's responsible for this?
He's funding, he's paying $33 billion to Iran.
And in addition to all that, they're going to end up with nuclear weapons.
So terror attacks, Democrat denials of domestic terrorism, unvetted refugees with the Hillary Clinton promise of more, ransom payments to Iran, murders of innocent Americans in sanctuary cities,
secret email servers, unreleased Wall Street speeches for which Hillary was paid 20 million in two years, a candidate claiming good health, collapsing and seizing up on a beautiful late summer morning.
These are the events that are shaping the 2016 election.
And I'm telling you, the Democrat Party is an abject denial.
They wonder why Hillary's not doing well, all they have to do is just remind themselves of the recent events I just cataloged here that anybody with half a brain could do.
Terror attacks, Democrat denials of terror attacks, unvetted refugees coming into the country with Hillary promising to increase the number, ransom payments to Iran, innocent Americans being murdered by illegals in sanctuary cities,
secret email servers, lie upon lie upon lie about trafficking in classified secret data by way of those email servers, speeches to Wall Street banks, 20 minutes of pop, 250,000 a pop, two million, or 20 million, I should say, over two years.
And then they tell us that the candidate is in great health.
She's robust and she can't be seen more than twice a day, two days in a row, without thinking being sequestered to recover.
And then everybody has seen her collapse and seize and have to be thrown into a van, and everybody heard it was pneumonia, Which nobody believes.
These are the events shaping the 2016 election.
Not soaring speeches laced with platitudes, not white guilt, not Bush derangement syndrome.
Majority of the American people really, really want to end all of this crony capitalism, crony journalism, crony justice, and the desire to end all of these crony relationships that exist among the elites in the ruling class.
That desire is more powerful than Hillary's marketing campaign and her ad campaign, inspired by elitist condescension and financed by backroom bribery.
Mrs. Clinton, by the way, the historian is stack here, and I'm loaded today about her ads are not working.
And it's one of the first times in the American electoral uh electoral history, recent history, that negative ads are not working.
And the experts are scratching their heads.
Negative ads always work.
They always define your opponent.
They always work, except they're not working for Hillary.
She's running, admittedly, some devastating ads about Trump, but it isn't working.
You boil it down, Americans are sick and tired of sick and tired politicians.
They're sick and tired of being sick and tired of sick and tired politicians like Hillary, who tell us we didn't build what we built.
Who tell us we are the problem in America.
It is Washingtonians who have built the mess.
Confidence in what they have built is at an all-time low.
Confidence that they can fix what they broke.
That's at an all-time low.
Hillary Clinton's just on the wrong side of recent history.
She is a champion of the problems Americans want fixed.
I'm serious.
Hillary Clinton's on the wrong side of history.
You know, it's amazing, too.
I I was thinking about this the other day.
Here's Hillary Clinton in essentially in line for 30 years for this election, which was supposed to be hers in 2008.
That's an important factor, never to forget.
Thirty years.
And I look at Hillary Clinton now, and I actually see a woman who time has passed by.
It's a very, very challenging thing for people as they age to...
You got to do one or two things.
If you're in politics or public life of any kind, if you as you age, you know, because young people, the first they tune out of and pay no attention to, other than members of their family, and even then, is the elderly.
It's not fair.
I think young people ought to spend more time with the older people.
They know much more, they have much more wisdom, they've lived longer.
There's so much to learn, but just not the way of the world.
Youthful people, particularly this millennial generation, they have no interest in, and by elderly, it's not elderly, but I'm talking about 55 plus, 60.
The time you get close to 70, they have no interest unless you have a way of relating to them.
Or unless you have such a stature that you command respect regardless of age.
And there are public figures of age can do that.
I look at Hillary Clinton, and I'm this is not partisan.
I'm making a an actual value judgment just based on what I see.
I see a woman that time has passed by, her politics or the politics of 15, 10 years ago.
Her approaches, her strategies, her way of characterizing the enemy politically, her way of winning.
Everything is out of a playbook that is out of date now, and particularly out of date because Trump is not even using it.
Because he's an outsider.
He has he doesn't know about the how to get elected as a Republican or Democrat in America playbook that's published, but not for you or me to buy by the establishment.
It just seems like she's a dinosaur in a whole lot of way.
And Trump is older than she is, but he is in no way perceived that way.
And there are reasons why.
Anyway, I will expand on this, as I know it's just wetted your whistle for more.
It really is the truth.
Hillary Clinton now I think is on the wrong side of recent history.
Not so recent history.
Hillary Clinton has become the champion of the problems that Americans want fixed.
Export Selection
