Welcome to today's edition of The Rush 24-7 Podcast.
I've never seen the media so obsessed with somebody that's supposedly losing so bad.
And they are.
They're literally obsessed with everything Trump does.
They just can't they can't stop themselves.
And they're analyzing everything Trump does as another nail in the coffin.
I don't know.
Maybe they think they're celebrating it or whatever.
They can't, but they can't help themselves.
Greetings, my friends, and welcome.
It's great to have you, Rush Limboy here behind the golden EIB microphone.
I meant to mention this uh yesterday and I didn't, so let me get it out of the way now.
We're gonna do open line Friday today on Wednesday because I have uh I have business reasons to be away from the program tomorrow and Friday, and we'll be back on uh on Monday.
So we got Mark Belling on Friday, and we've got uh Buck Sexton of the CIA will be in here tomorrow.
And uh Mark Belling on Friday.
So open line Friday on Wednesday today, whatever you want to talk about, fair game, have at it.
Telephone number 800-282-2882, the email.
Ah, we're changing the email address.
So I'm not gonna give that email address out anymore.
We're gonna change the email address, gonna change the domain, do all kinds of stuff there.
And I um not yet ready or prepared to answer it.
But if you if you if you send an email to that address that I've been giving out, don't because it won't be seen anymore.
Yes, V, it's out of there.
What do you mean?
We're just we're just we're just changing.
Do you know how many emails let me tell you you know how many emails we get at that address?
Would you want to hear?
During the during the show, 15,000 a minute.
15,000 emails a minute from noon to three.
Now, admittedly, some of that in there is spam.
So we have to offload it.
It's just it's just that simple.
So uh don't bother emailing anything ever again to Lrushbow at EIBNet.com.
It's just gonna go to the ether, folks.
It uh I'm just I'm just giving you fair warning.
We have a new email address set up uh for what we call here the uh the mass account, the public account, I'll be sure, and share that with you.
Okay, the uh the big news of the day is is what is being labeled a Trump campaign shakeup, but I don't know if it's a shakeup because nobody got canned.
Uh a couple of people were added to the roster.
Steve Bannon, who's been running the Trump BART website, has moves over now as the executive chairman of the campaign.
He's a uh a former U.S. Navy operator as chief of staff to somebody in the Pentagon of the Department of the Navy.
He's a Harvard MBA.
He uh was a banker at Goldman Sachs, and he was one of the early investors in the TV show Seinfeld.
So he has acquired and amassed wealth.
He's known Trump for a while, and he's been running the Trump BART site for, well, I don't know, he's executive chairman at Trump BART for for what, snurdly, a year or two?
Something like that.
Excuse me.
And so he's taking a leave of absence there and moving over to be the executive chairman of the Trump campaign.
Kellyanne Conway is becoming the campaign manager.
And of course, the drive-bys are obsessed.
There's another story out there that we touched on this yesterday.
Roger Ailes is providing formal advice to the Trump campaign on the upcoming debates.
The Trump campaign, no matter who you talk to, is denying that.
There's no formal arrangement with ALES.
There's no informal arrangement with Ailes.
Ailes isn't doing anything with a Trump campaign, according to Trump spokesman on TV.
It doesn't matter to CNN what the Trump campaign is saying, because CNN is continuing to report that that's what's going on.
CNN also has put on their tenfoil hats, and what they see the campaign shakeup today meaning is this that Trump knows he's gonna lose.
All Trump is doing is setting up a future media empire to take on Fox News and CNN.
This is the CNN theory.
Now, when Trump loses the election, he's going to have Steve Bannon and Ailes, and they're going to set up this brand new news network to take everybody else out.
They're gonna swamp Fox News, they're gonna swamp CNN.
Uh they're gonna they're gonna just uh that that's the CNN theory.
I know some of the players here, I've not heard a word of that.
I can't I can't do thumbs up or thumbs down on it.
I have no idea whether any of that has any uh truth to it, if there's any validity.
I do know that CNN's off the rails on all this.
They're just they're they're acting uh paranoid and and they've got their conspiratorial hats on uh and they're dreaming and imagining things.
One thing, though, that that that needs to be pointed out here, and I'm not the first to do it.
If you've been watching uh cable news all morning, you'll you no doubt have heard this.
But Trump was in Milwaukee last night, well, actually 45 minutes north of Milwaukee, and we've got the soundbites coming up, and he got another good speech.
It was a real I mean it it was folks, it was a it was a damn good speech.
It was it was knocked down good, and you will hear how good it was by listening to the sheer panic in the aftermath of the speech from CNN from their commentators and their Democrat strategists.
So what did the Trump campaign do?
They promptly gave the media an excuse to not report it.
They promptly gave the media an excuse to ignore Trump's speech last night by announcing this campaign shakeup or change or whatever they're calling it.
So that now is the news about the Trump campaign, meaning the two new hires, Bannon and Kellyanne Conway, and nobody is talking about the speech that Trump gave.
Well, somebody there should have understood something here.
You know, you're gonna you're gonna shake up the campaign, you're gonna add some people to it, and they're very insistent that it's not a shakeup because nobody got fired and nobody's been reassigned.
It's just a couple of people were at it.
Whatever, you know, you don't need announce this Thursday or Friday.
You know, announce it when I'm not here.
That way you're guaranteed to sneak it under the radar and let the news of Trump's speech because he took he he took on the problems in Milwaukee.
I mean, he went, he dove head first into it.
We haven't seen anybody take on these cultural problems at all, particularly from the Republican side, and Trump did last night.
But you don't know about it because the news is the campaign shakeup.
It's that was uh it's an error.
It's a tactical error.
I don't know if it it's look, it's not a long-lasting thing.
It doesn't mean win or lose.
It just there was a smarter way of doing this, and I'm I'm sure they know it.
Now there's a new Reuters poll out.
Hillary's lost a point.
She's now only up six.
41 to 35.
You know what the interesting point in that poll is to me?
Hillary Clinton's only at 41%.
After all this time, after all of this adoring free media that she gets, and I'm not she's buying a lot of spots, but it's anti-Trump stuff.
The media, as you know, is her protector, and they're doing everything they can to promote her and cover up whatever weaknesses she has and ignore whatever deficiencies to only be at 41% after all this.
Now, yeah, there's some of the third and fourth party candidates are getting significant numbers here, but that's even so.
How in the world 41% now she can win with 41%.
That's the unfortunate thing.
You know, Bill Clinton never got 50% of the vote, and either his two presidential campaigns, because third party candidates came in there and took he first campaign he won 47% and won the presidency.
He got the electoral votes, and it's it's all that matters.
But I just it could Hillary Clinton continues to be beatable.
Hillary Clinton is maybe not a sitting duck, but she's not invincible.
She has glaring weaknesses.
She has many vulnerabilities.
She is not a good candidate.
And everybody talks about Trump's not a good candidate.
He's not this, he's not that, he's not this.
She's not a good candidate in the sense that she doesn't excite people, she has no charisma, she doesn't light a fire, creates no energy, she doesn't have a connection with most of the people voting for her.
That's party loyalty more than it is to Hillary, and as such, she's very vulnerable.
But they're gonna have to go after her.
They're gonna have to, and they're gonna have to start that pretty soon, because folks, as many in the drive-by media have excitedly pointed out today.
Early voting starts pretty soon.
Six weeks in some states.
Here we are in August, and early voting starts.
And you know what early voting is.
I mean, it's a scam.
It's a it's a scam the Democrats run.
Have you heard the latest Democrat scam?
Have you heard about the agriculture department's financial grants to lesbian farmers?
You think I'm making this up?
Huh?
See?
This is how they do it.
All right, I hadn't intended to get into this right now.
Let me find it here in the stack.
Because it's something that's happening.
It's actually real, and there is a strategic reason for here it is.
Are you ready for this?
It's two pages.
Let me pull them out here.
It is from the uh what's it?
Washington Free Beacon.
That's the website.
Headline, Feds holding summits for lesbian farmers.
The United States Department of the Agriculture, the agriculture USDA wants to change the image of farmers from white rich male.
U.S. Department of Agriculture holding summits to promote the role of lesbian farmers as part of its rural pride campaign.
The agency is working with Singer and LGBT activist Cindy Lauper for a day of conversation about the struggles of gay and transgender individuals in rural America.
USDA says it wants to change the perception of what it means to be a farmer in America away from the image of white rich male.
Now, I understand farmers are not rich.
This is part of the disinformation campaign.
White rich male is how the left describes pretty much any constituency group that they're opposed to.
But what the what the point of this is, folks, it's not about lesbian farmers.
What they're trying to do is convince lesbians to become farmers.
You sit in there and laugh.
Okay, go ahead and laugh at it, but I'm telling you what they're doing.
They are trying to bust up one of the last geographic conservative regions in the country, and that's rural America.
Rural America happens to be largely conservative.
Rural America is made up of self-reliant, rugged individual types.
They happen to be big believers in the second amendment.
So here comes the Obama regime with a bunch of federal money, and they're waving it around, and all you got to do to get it is to be a lesbian and want to be a farmer, and they'll set you up.
I'm like you.
I never before in my life knew that lesbians wanted to be farmers.
I never knew that lesbians wanted to get behind the horse and the plow and start burrowing.
I never knew it.
But apparently enough money can make it happen.
And the objective here is to attack, they're already attacking suburbs.
And that has been made perfectly clear by what happened in Milwaukee.
And they're going after every geographic region that is known to be largely conservative.
They never stop, folks.
They're constantly on the march.
And I guarantee you that most people reading the news would come across a story, Washington Free Beacon Headline, Feds holding summits for lesbian farmers, and they would probably ignore it or laugh at it, but ultimately cast it aside.
But I, L. Rushbo, able to read the stitches on the fastball, can clearly see what this is about.
I only need to read three paragraphs of this story to understand what this is about.
So the college loan system, the student loan system, you know, I've been harping on that recently as a as a great illustration of how the people that we have trusted to run our affairs, to manage things because we think they're competent.
These are the people who've taken the promise of a student loan And a college education and turned it into an albatross around people's necks.
I know people who are in their 50s who are just now paying off their student loans.
And they're facing the cycle all over again as their kids are now starting college.
What has this done?
In addition to destroying the college education as a building block on the road to prosperity.
I mean, you graduate with a really an albatross around your neck, all that debt that you have to pay off before you begin to acquire personal wealth.
Tuition never comes down.
All they do is make adjustments in the student loan program to make it a little bit more attractive to people.
What it is also do.
Well, it makes colleges rich, but it turns these students into lifelong dependents.
It turns students into perpetual leftists.
It creates students that have no hope but that they'll live at home.
They have no way of earning enough money or getting a job to acquire any wealth because they've got the specter of the student loan and whatever else they have accrued as expenses.
The latest numbers, one in five young adults, 20% now live with their parents or their grandparents.
And so this is this again, this is the Democrat Party or the left creating another voting block, just as they have with the the African American voter.
I've convinced the African American voter that the Democrat Party is their only hope, that government is their only hope, that Democrats running government is their only hope, and they're in the process here of doing the same thing now with millennial college graduates.
And of course, when it comes time to blame somebody for the student loan program, who do you think's gonna get blamed?
Well, probably somebody they already hate, like George W. Bush, or some other Republican, or the other Wall Street banks.
Yeah, that'll work.
Any anybody that they've already convinced people to hate, blame them.
Set yourself up, the government has the protector.
We got to the loan, we're helping you pay it back, we're making sure you got educated, we're the ones looking out for you, and this is how.
You look at recent surveys of millennials and ask them whether liberal or conservative, and the number of millennials identifies liberals double the number of conservatives, like 42%, 21%.
And some of the course don't know, don't say, don't identify, what have you.
So anyway, uh a little bit of a table setter there.
There's much more obviously as we uh unfold before your very eyes and ears will continue right after this.
Don't go away.
Right on.
Okay, we have the new email address ready to go.
It's sooner than I thought.
I didn't think it was going to be till later this afternoon.
Are you ready to write this down?
We're gonna have this uh placed all over Rush Limbaugh 24-7 uh Rush Limbaugh.com.
Here is the new email address.
It's just one slight change.
Still L Rushbow at EIBNet.us.
We went patriotic in changing the public email domain.
So it it's L Rushbow at EIB Not EIB net.us.
That is the new public email, and I checked that account during the program.
I subject line search, and sometimes I reference people's uh emails that they send stuff that's interesting, provocative, usable.
There's no way, I'm telling you, 15,000 a minute, folks.
It it it's it's almost incomprehensible.
So I can't come close to getting anywhere near them.
But again, Lrushbow at EIB net.us.
I just got a note here from the official program observer.
Yeah, I get into that.
It's a question of how can farmers be perceived to be rich and white given the Pigford, Pigsford, whatever it was, that was the case where a bunch of black farmers supposedly got screwed and the federal government paid them off, and many of them that got paid off had never been farmers.
Right.
I have other questions about this lesbian farmer thing that the USDA is doing.
I'm thinking about maybe I don't need to share with you uh what I'm what I'm thinking about here.
Well, I just I just I'm but I'm not kidding, folks.
This again, in previous days gone by, this would have been, we would have looked at that, and we can still have our yucks about it.
Make no mistake, but it it has a specific political objective.
And the quick explanation is this is the left expanding their their sphere of dominant influence.
I know there's not nobody's ever heard of a clamoring among lesbians to be farmers.
I mean, lesbians are claiming that they're discriminated against in a lot of ways, but you've never heard them say that farming is unfair to them.
You've never even heard them say they want to be farmers.
But here comes the feds waving all kinds of money at them, and you know what's going to happen then.
So happy to be with you, ladies and gentlemen.
The highlight of my day, these three hours with you.
I love it, and I love you, and I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to be here every day.
Telephone number 800 28282, and again, we've changed email addresses for the first time.
This was 20 years, I'm thinking.
Our new email address, L Rushbow at EIB net.us.
Just one little sm minor domain change, L Rushbow at EIB net.us.
You want to hear some more odd news?
Alright, here's some more odd news.
Try this from thehill.com.
Transgender rules for homeless shelters spark firestorm.
Really?
Yes, right, my friends.
Homeless shelters have become the latest battleground in the national debate over transgender rights.
The Obama regime, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, is expected in September to finalize regulations that would allow people to stay in homeless shelters based on the gender they identify with.
Nobody's going to be free from this.
Nobody.
You live in a shopping cart and a transgender can claim it.
You live in a homeless shelter, it doesn't matter.
The proposal has set off a firestorm pitting LGBT groups against religious organizations that operate many homeless shelters.
And there, by the way, is the real reason this is happening.
Because a lot of churches run homeless shelters.
Not just Catholic churches.
A lot of churches run homeless shelters.
So here comes the regime.
Once again, with a full-fledged assault on religion.
Just as Obamacare contains many assaults on religion, so now the new rules for homeless shelters that would allow people to stay in homeless shelters based on the gender they identify with.
Transgender women are women regardless of whether they were born males, said David Stacey, Government Affairs Director at the Human Rights Campaign, which is a gay rights organization, proving my point that the overlap here exists and the transgender gang has been aided and abetted here by the gay and lesbian groups because the gays and lesbians pretty much got what they want now.
And there's no reason to rabble rouse as much.
So they want to keep rabble-rousing and agitating, so they've adopted the bisexual and transgender group.
They've imported them into the gay and lesbian group.
They get to rabble arouse and agitate all over again, get to act like they're still discriminated against, get to act like no accomplishments have happened, get to act like none of their demands have been met.
And so now it's the LGBT group, particularly transgenders, being allowed to not only choose the bathrooms they use, but now to choose the homeless shelters they want to use.
Notice there's not any discussion here of maybe trying to deal with homelessness.
Notice that when we talk about homelessness, it's another one of these new norms.
Yep, it's just There, it's just part of the fabric of America now.
It is something that we must acknowledge and admit that is part and parcel of America.
Homelessness illustrates the great divide.
Homelessness, I'm speaking as a leftist now as a progressive.
Homelessness illustrates the unfairness, the inequality, the bias, and the bigotry of America.
How could a great country like America could permit this?
Is the question.
The never ending refrain, oh, you think America's exceptional, huh?
You think America's great?
Well, how do you explain all the homeless people?
How do you explain this rampant lack of compassion?
This that features so many homeless people.
And again, Republicans are being blamed for this for having no compassion and no heart.
And the left gets to applaud themselves, beat their chests as champions of the downtrodden, chow champions of the discriminated against, champions of the forgotten, champions of the lost, champions of the hungry, the homeless, the thirsty, whatever.
And since churches run a lot of homeless shelters, here comes the almighty federal government saying, Hey, you can't discriminate.
Transgenders get to choose their bathrooms, they get to choose their locker rooms, and now they get to choose their homeless shelters.
And again, quoting this guy, David Stacey, government affairs director, human rights campaign, transgender women are women, regardless whether they were born male.
And there you have it.
See that guy over there, he was born male.
But no, he's a woman in his mind, and therefore he's a woman.
And you can't say otherwise.
He continued by saying, if you are a transgender woman and you walk into a homeless shelter and they treat you like a man, it's traumatizing.
These people are already vulnerable.
They're homeless.
They don't have a job, to face discrimination the entire time they're there is a real problem.
So now homeless shelters are being attacked by the left, because many of them are run by churches.
How many homeless transgenders would you say there are in America?
I mean, whatever the number is, it's not even one half of one percent.
And look at the massive upheaval, upheaval in policy and federal dictate and everything else to accommodate them.
And it's even worse than that, because the transgenders are now being accorded the label of normalcy, and anybody who isn't on board, you're the problem.
You're the danger.
You're the person whose mind is out of whack and who we've got to get made right.
That's what I mean.
Every day we wake up, every day, and we find another assault.
Today there's two.
Lesbian farmers and transgenders being allowed to use whatever homeless shelter they want.
And then there's this, folks.
This is from the Poughkeepsie Journal, Poughkeepsie, New York fire chairman seeks compromise after American flag controversy.
What do you think that flag controversy is?
The chairman of the Arlington Fire District Board said he has reached out to the chief Tony Galante, Tory Galante, to discuss the possibility of a compromise about the use of American flags on the trucks because somebody has demanded that the American flag not be anywhere on the fire trucks in Poughkeepsie.
American flags were removed from three Arlington fire district trucks yesterday, sparking heated discussion and disappointment from Union members.
The chief Tory Galante was directed by the Board of Fire Commissioners to remove the flags from the back of the trucks during Monday's meeting.
He declined to comment on specifics of why that decision was Made, but said that he is very disappointed with their direction.
The Arlington Fire Commissioner Chairman, Jim Beretta, said the board majority feel the flags are a liability during normal operations for our people and other motorists.
And that the board had not been consulted before the flags were mounted.
How is the American flag on the back of a fire truck a liability during normal operations?
The flags, by the way, were only recently mounted on the trucks at the request of the Union.
They were removed during a ceremony at Arlington headquarters in the town of Poughkeepsie on Tuesday.
But why would the American flag be a liability in Poughkeepsie, New York, during normal operations?
One thing I wild guess.
Why would it's not stated here?
I haven't completed reading the story.
Just now got it.
Could it be something similar to people I know in Connecticut who don't have the courage to put a never Hillary bumper sticker on their car because they're afraid the car might be vandalized or attacked?
Could it be the American?
Well, I'm I'm look, I'm just guessing here what what what possible remember the word here.
The board majority feel the flags are a liability during normal operations for our people and other motorists.
How is it a liability unless it's provocative?
And if the flag is provocative, who would the flag provoke?
Well, the these questions answer themselves, but we don't know if this is the reason.
But man, oh man.
You've got to take the flag off a fire truck because it's going to maybe provoke somebody like people that don't like America.
Yeah.
Audio sound by time.
Last night, Charlie Rose speaking with uh NBC correspondent Katie Turr.
Charlie Rose says, What about the issue taking on the press?
They're talking about Trump, not about his speech last night or the one the night before.
They're talking about Trump's decision to uh pivot from crooked Hillary to the crooked media.
And of course, I am a well, I'm the primary reason they were discussing this, as you will hear.
He does think it resonates.
It does resonate with a strong portion of Donald Trump's supporters and the Republican base.
There are not enough people out there who agree with him on this to such a degree that they believe that he is being completely painted unfair.
Rush Limbaugh yesterday came on and said uh that he should back off from the attacks from the press.
And Rush Limbaugh has pretty much made his career attack in the press.
And what was his explanation?
The reason he should do that is because it was counterproductive.
It makes leaders look weak, is what Rush said.
That's an interesting Rush Limbaugh insight.
Yeah.
If you're attacking the press, it means you're weak.
You should be able to take it.
That's what happens at this level of the game.
You hear these people talking about this like they have no idea that anybody might think that, that it takes me putting it out there.
Oh, really?
That attacking the media might make somebody look weak.
Rush said that.
Hmm, interesting.
Wow.
We ought to put that on a hopper and think about it.
Hmm.
Very, very interesting.
Russell Limbaugh said that.
Wow.
Wow, that's an incredible insight that Rush has there.
Um by the way, I have made my career doing a bunch of things, folks.
Not primarily attacking them.
I just tell you what they're doing and why.
I deconstruct them.
We'll be back.
Don't go away.
Stick with the audio soundbites here.
We'll get to that.
I can't believe we got calls on farmers now.
We got uh lesbian farmers and and they're rich white farmers and so forth.
So uh remember we're doing open line Friday on Wednesday today.
Uh next up here, last night, the Fox News Channel, the TV program, the five, they were discussing Black Lives Matter.
By the way, that's another.
You wouldn't believe the Black Lives Matter news.
One of the stories about Black Lives Matter is that they have just here we go.
Two things.
First off, from the Daily Caller, a federal judge in Washington, state of Washington, declared Black Lives Matter during a Hearing Monday, a federal judge.
This judge was appointed by George W. Bush.
His name is James Robart.
And U.S. District Judge James Robart is presiding over the implementation of a 2012 consent decree requiring Seattle to adopt various federal police reforms.
Seattle is one of the 30 cities.
The Department of Justice is taking over the police department via these consent decrees.
These communities have to sign these consent decrees or they forever lose federal funding of any kind for the police department.
And what the DOJ, this is the Obama DOJ is doing, is taking over these police departments under the premise that they're all racist.
That they are not treating black citizens fairly.
And I'm I'm not exaggerating an ounce here on this.
That is precisely what this is.
Baltimore, they're doing it.
Ferguson, Missouri, they have done it.
Seattle is in the process of being converted now to federal authority.
The city's police department was accused by the federal government of engaging in various practices, such as excessive force that fell disproportionately on non-white residents and therefore violated their civil rights.
That's the charge coming from the DOJ.
And in order to reform, they must sign a consent decree, meaning they must consent to everything that the federal government is alleging.
If they don't, they get no more federal money, no more assistance of any kind for the police department, and there are other penalties as well.
And of course, the consent decree was reached so the city could avoid fighting a costly lawsuit against the feds, because you can't win one against them because they can print the money necessary to keep a lawsuit going forever.
So you can add Seattle, liberal, liberal Seattle.
You can add that to the list of police departments put under the boot of the Obama DOJ.
Anyway, during the hearing, the Bush appointed federal judge in siding with the federal government, pointed out that black lives matter.
Here's the second Black Lives Matter story from the Washington Times.
Black Lives Matter is increasingly a wash in cash, raking in pledges of more than 100 million dollars from liberal foundations and others eager to contribute.
The Ford Foundation is the latest gigantic donor.
The Ford Foundation and the Borealis Philanthropy recently announced the formation of the Black Led Movement Fund, the BLMF, a six-year pooled donor campaign aimed at raising 100 million dollars for Black Lives Matter.
That funding comes in addition to the more than 33 million dollars in grants to the Black Lives Matter movement from George Soros through his open society foundations, as well as a grant making from the grant making from the Center for American Progress.
So here you have Black Lives Matter is.
Black Lives Matter, by the way, is simply the rebirth of Occupy Wall Street under racial auspices.
It is a manufactured left-wing agitator group, made to look like an organic neighborhood community organized group.
It is bought and paid for.
It has a mission, which is to agitate and attack.
I mean, black lives matter.
They mount.
Well, you know what they do.
But look at the people getting behind.
Look at all the leftist causes getting behind them.
I mean, this is this is uh Black Lives Matter is in charge for helping to spread the lie of hands up, don't shoot, for example.
I mean, I I I'm a hard press to to come up with the just how egregious this is.
I'm trying to think of an analogy of a I can't.
It just, but it's unseemly, folks.
This is the Democrat Party and leftists funding.
The continued terrorizing of American cities.
I don't know how else you.
It is open line Friday on Wednesday, L Rushbow and a reminder, a new email address for you.
