I just, I've never seen it, and I've never seen them do this to a claim that Hillary Clinton has made or any other Democrat.
I've I've seen it repeatedly with claims that Trump makes.
Normally what they do is just report what a candidate is saying, and they leave it up to their brilliant audience to wade through the muck and find out the truth of it.
CNN doesn't trust the intelligence of their audience.
And they're not, and they certainly do not get nuance.
They don't take the time to explain what Trump means.
Lincoln's a fact checked.
Al Baghdadi found ISIS.
Hey, CNN, you know you're falling to third place for a reason.
The numbers are in CNN has now fallen to beneath MSNBC.
You have to try to do that.
You have to make an effort to throw away that kind of an audience.
And I don't think there's any question about it.
CNN has become the all-Trump bashing network all the time.
It's just what they do.
And I think people don't want to hear it.
I am not saying that they're all Trump fans either.
It's just they don't, I mean, it's just it never ends.
Whatever Trump says, whatever he's in the news for about it's a bash.
It's a rip, it's a criticism, and then they convene their round tables to double down on it, and they'll have one Trump spokesman with four or five other people.
And it's just uh uh these things matter.
And I I just don't think their audience they may be all in for Hillary, their audience may be a predominantly Democrat audience, but why are they losing?
Why, I mean, they are they are I mean, they just they're they're throwing audience away.
It's it's it's a it's they're bleeding.
It's incredible.
And they were number one during the Democrat convention.
Are you aware of that?
They had twice the audience of Fox during the Democrat convention.
They had, I think an average of six million viewers a night versus Fox's three.
Those are rounded numbers.
Now, it could well be that Fox's audience has no idea to punish itself and watch the Democrat convention.
And a lot of libs know that CNN is the Liberal Democrat network, so they tuned in, but they didn't stay with it.
And they have uh they have fallen by the wayside even more.
By the way, here's another CNN indictment.
CNN was the network reporting that the Secret Service had called Trump and demanded a sit-down to discuss with him his threat against Mrs. Clinton.
You know what, folks?
It didn't happen.
The Secret Service never met with Trump.
Not about this.
The Secret Service did not have any cautionary warnings for Trump.
A federal official said yesterday that the Secret Service had not formally spoken with Donald Trump's campaign regarding his suggestion a day earlier that gun rights activists could stop Hillary Clinton from curtailing their access to firearms.
A federal official familiar with the matter told Reuters that there had been no formal Conversations between the Secret Service and the Trump campaign, but CNN had reported earlier that there had been multiple conversations between the campaign and the agency, that no such meetings or conversation ever happened.
Trump wort uh wrote on Twitter, accusing CNN of having made up the report.
They not only probably made it up, they pounded it.
I mean, they were pounding it from from 2.30 yesterday on practically nonstop.
In fact, we had a soundbite yesterday.
I didn't get to it.
Remember how Wolf Blitzer couldn't keep his pants up reporting George Bush's ratings had fallen down to the 30s?
He did the same thing on this.
It's five o'clock in New York.
It's midnight in Paris.
And Donald Trump has had two secret meetings with the Secret Service about his caustic comments about Hillary Clinton.
It's 515 in New York.
It's 15 minutes after midnight in Paris.
Donald Trump is and it went on and on and on.
Another one of those montages.
It never happened.
Since we're at CNN, grab audio sound bites, what are they here?
Uh grab sent 17 and 18.
This is our old buddy Don Blackhall Lemon.
Before anybody gets the idea here.
Snurley's going, wait a minute, you want to rephrase that.
Yes.
During the disappearance of the Malaysian airliner, the estimable Don Lemon, who we love.
We don't want anything to ever happen to Don Lemon.
We want Don Lemon to get promoted.
We want Don Lemon on the air all the time here, folks.
Don Lemon asked a former National Transportation Safety Board expert whether or not a black hole could have swallowed up the Malaysian airliner.
And sure as it can be, the several journalists circle the wagon and try to explain what Don meant by that.
That it would be a mistake to take him literally.
Don Lemon knows that black holes are way, way out there in the universe and couldn't possibly have because if a black hole had swallowed the airliner, it would have swallowed us.
And the National Transportation Safety Board babe, Mary Sh Mary Shivos, she did her best to not make a fool of Don Lemon.
She actually treated his question with uh modicum of respect.
She laughed it off and then answered it in her own way.
Well, anyway, we love Don Lemon, and we want him around.
So don't get anybody his nickname here is simply based on that.
Last, I guess it's Tuesday night on CNN tonight, Don Lemon spoke with former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino about Trump's second amendment people comment.
We have two bites here.
Don Lemon said, Explain to us people who don't understand.
And you want to laugh at what Trump said.
How can you laugh at that?
Explain to those of us that don't get this.
What is so funny about it?
It's clear he's trying to motivate people to go out and vote based on the potential for an open Supreme Court seat.
How that's clear to you, that was some kind of call to an open revolution and to start firing your weapons at public officials is utter absurd.
No one said that.
What do you mean no one said it, Don?
What do you mean no one said it?
That's all anybody tried to make it sound like Trump was saying.
What do you mean nobody said it?
This is why we love Don Lemon.
Nobody said that.
You didn't have to say it.
All you had to do was imply that Trump was threatening Mrs. Clinton.
And then you add that the Secret Service sought a meeting with Trump to make sure that nothing was awry in the Trump campaign when that didn't happen either.
This conversation continued after Bon Gino says it was clear that Trump was trying to motivate people to go out and vote.
This is how it continued.
I'm sitting at home, I'm watching Donald Trump.
I have two ears in your own.
I have two ears and I have two eyes, and I can see the reaction of the people behind me.
And I'm not we're not stupid.
We're supposed to be stupid enough not to understand that.
And to believe the spin coming from the surrogates and for people like you, you should be ashamed of yourself.
It doesn't make it Don, I I frankly I'm ashamed that you're talking to me as if I'm a child when 12 years of my life.
No, you're treating me as a child because you're telling me what I'm saying.
So you were learning the TV.
And you're sitting here on television lying to the American people.
You don't know crap about this, Don.
You're a TV guy.
I was the Secret Service agent.
Now cut off my mic.
Do what you want.
Yeah, turn on my mic.
Go ahead, Don.
Do what you're on.
You don't know crap about this.
Don't be a Secret Service Agent.
You're a TV guy.
And Lemon was not happy with that.
I'm not going to cut off the mic.
I'm going to tell you that you're sitting here and you're lying to the American people.
You're lying to the American people and dying.
I know that you're lying to the American people.
Can we go back on?
Well, I don't know if you're able to make that out, but after let me read it to you.
After Lemon said, I'm not going to cut your mic off, but I'm going to I'm just going to tell you that you sit here and you're lying to the American people.
Listen, with all due respect to David Gurgen, you don't know what you're talking about.
Lemon said, You're lying to the American people, and you know it.
Bon Gino said, Yeah, yeah, right, I'm lying, Don.
Yes, I'm lying.
Yeah, you're making this up, Don.
You don't know crap, Don.
You're a TV guy.
It's a Secret Service agent.
You have no idea what you're talking about, Don.
So here's Lemon.
Don't forget how this started.
Lemon denying that anybody had said that Trump meant anything dangerous by this.
So Lemon denies saying it and then spends the rest of the conversation trying to prove that's what Trump meant.
After saying nobody saying that.
I mean, it's no wonder that Bon Gino ended up a little frustrated.
Now this will move on to a montage of various drive-bys.
And I I have a written uh version of this story.
It's either it's New York Times or it's APH writers.
It doesn't matter.
Because they're all the same.
What the drive-by's are saying, this montage isn't because somebody, somebody got this line of reasoning going in the drive-by media, and and there's either a a memo that's gone out or a super secret website where they all go for talking points.
Because the media is getting sensitive to the fact that they're not talking about the Hillary email scandal.
They're doing nothing but trying to make things up about Trump and focus on things that Trump is saying while actually ignoring the things Hillary is doing.
So the media has come up with an explanation for this.
And what they're saying is that what Trump is saying is so outrageous.
They don't have time to focus on Hillary and her emails.
That they want to.
They want to expose Hillary and her emails, and they want to spend time, but Trump is saying so much outrageous off-the-wall stuff that they can't ignore it.
So it's Trump's fault that the media is not focusing on Hillary's emails.
And here's a montage of a bunch of drive-by people saying this.
What should have been a no-good, terrible, bad three weeks for Hillary Clinton, gone largely unnoticed.
It was a very, very stupid thing for Donald Trump to say.
Once again, here we have a week where the focus should be on Hillary Clinton.
The biggest damage is that it draws attention away from Hillary Clinton and her many shortcomings.
She should be having a bad week.
She's lucky in the midst of the Donald Trump controversy.
Her email story this time around is not getting as much attention as it would otherwise.
Donald Trump is pulling focus unnecessarily away from what you think would be more important issues.
We're talking about this instead of things that would be harmful to Hillary Clinton's campaign.
What I wouldn't give for this to be the number one issue in our campaign.
That would be awesome.
And there wasn't these implications of assassinations.
Perhaps we could focus on them more if Donald Trump did not continually say these sorts of things.
You believe this?
They are the drive-by media.
If they want to talk about Hillary's emails, they can.
There's nothing stopping them.
Oh, and they so badly want to.
You heard them all say so.
They so badly want to talk about Hillary's emails, but poor old Trump and meanie.
He won't let them.
Because he won't stop saying dangerous, stupid things.
We have to cover what Trump's saying.
We're so frustrated.
We really want to tell you about Hillary and all the scandals involving her emails.
But damn it, we can't.
We can't.
And the most interesting of all these quotes came from somebody in there named Anna Marie Cox.
Who said, what I wouldn't give for this, meaning Hillary's emails.
What I wouldn't give for this to be the number one issue in our campaign.
That would be awesome.
And there wasn't these applications of assassinations that we would be talking about.
So they so desperately, folks.
It's it's like they want to talk about this stuff.
They want to delve and dig deeply into Hillary's email scandal, but damn it.
Trump just keeps distracting them.
Why?
Trump keeps steering them away from it.
How stupid do they think we are?
They really want to talk about it, but can't.
Well then do.
They're making it sound like there's something really there.
All these drive-by people making it sound like they're really.
Well, of course there is.
Of course there is.
They're covering it up.
They are purposely using poor old Trump and his dangerous mouth as the excuse.
One more bite before the break.
Peter Schweitzer was on with Bill Hemmer on Fox today.
And this is related to the montage you just heard.
So Hemmer says, okay, this is what Democrats are saying now.
They're saying there's no evidence to suggest that any of this pay-for-play stuff at the foundation actually went to Hillary Clinton.
It might have gone to Bill, it might have gone to other people, but it never went to Hillary.
Do you have evidence, Mr. Schweitzer, that suggests otherwise?
How stupid do they think we are?
If you look at the email from Doug Band to Cheryl Mills, he says, you know, Chagori wants this meeting, and Mr. Chagori is, quote, very important, end quote, to us.
Why is Gilbert Shigori very important?
This is a foreign national, a foreign oligarch who lives in Nigeria, a very corrupt uh political culture in which he plays, uh, and he's getting access.
The Clinton Foundation now gives oligarchs in Nigeria, in Russia, all around the world, access to U.S. decision makers precisely because they are, quote, very important to the Clintons.
So this is the kind of thing the drive-by's want to be telling us about.
Guys like Gilbert Shigori and uh and the guy that ended up all of the uranium assets in Kazakhstan.
They really, oh gosh, they folks, they want to tell us about that stuff so bad, but Trump won't shut up.
How did Bill ever do it?
Oh, how did how did Bill Hammer get it?
How did Bill Hemer get it on it?
That's right, because well, Fox does both.
They talk about Trump and whatever he says and the Hillary emails.
But the drive-by's, I guess, can only do one thing.
And Trump's so dominating their coverage and their attention that they just they can't spare a moment to get into what Hillary's email stuff's all about.
Time to go to the phones.
I really appreciate all of you patiently waiting.
We have uh we have Tom in Spring, Texas.
You're up first, sir.
Great to have you.
Hi.
Good to be here.
It's wonderful to talk to you today, sir.
Thank you, sir.
To me, this election is not about what Donald Trump may or may not say, or about what he may or may not do when he's elected president.
It's about what Hillary Clinton has said she is going to do and intends to do if she's elected president.
The money and the ideology that drives the liberal agenda in today's Democrat Party is just plain dangerous.
They're attacking the standard traditional, time-honored American traditions, the ones that we hold dear to our hearts that have made this country the greatest country in the world.
We see it happening every day.
Donald Trump is the only candidate that can defeat Hillary Clinton in November, and to abandon him is to abandon this country.
Abraham Lincoln said in the closing of his Gettysburg Address is for us the living to be highly resolved that these dead shall not have died in vain.
And a government of the people by the people shall not perish from this earth.
We must defeat Hillary Clinton in November.
It's just that simple.
Folks, I gotta tell you something.
That is what I have been trying to convey to everybody who's questioning every motivation of mine or every decision I've made.
I don't think there's anything worse than four more years of the past eight.
Because of what it means, because of what will be added to these four years.
Not just the Supreme Court, But what's going to happen?
Immigration.
We're going to lose our culture.
We're going to lose our national identity by design and on purpose.
And this is why I do not, you know, all of these Republicans and conservatives who are saying that they just can't, in good conscience, support Trump because they don't want to undercut conservatism or the conservative movement or what.
To me, it's not about that.
This is about the country and stopping Hillary Clinton.
And that's what during the Republican primaries.
You know, I never endorse during primaries.
I never have.
For a whole host of reasons.
And I made up my mind didn't matter who won the Republican primaries at the end of the day.
I don't control that.
I never have controlled that, despite what some people think.
My resolution was whoever gets the Republican nomination, I'm going to say, even if it was Kasich, I was going to support him.
Let me tell you how to win this election, folks.
I think I know how to win this election.
The key to winning this election is not with us.
We already know who we are.
We know what we think, we know how we're going to vote.
Most of us, I realize some of you in this audience don't like Trump, and you uh might try to find somebody else to you.
You don't want to vote Hillary, so you might go third party, you might try to find somebody else you can vote for.
Mistake.
Anything you do that does not vote for the only person that can beat her, and that's the Republican nominee.
If you don't vote for the Republican nominee, you're voting for Hillary Clinton.
Pure and simple.
And as far as I'm concerned, that's what this has always been about since before the Republican primaries began.
I'm among the few who knew before the Democrat primaries began that nobody but Hillary was going to win it, that game was fixed, and that Bernie Sanders was in there to make it look like she could handle a fight, that she could overcome opposition.
That was fixed and set up for Bernie to lose from the get-go.
And by the way, folks, I'm not convinced that he wasn't in on it himself.
I'm not prepared to allege that he was, but they just paid him off with his third home.
Here's a guy that's never had a job until he was 40 years of age.
He has no other income other than his Senate income, and he's bought a $600,000 home on a lake in Vermont.
A dacha.
This is his third residence.
And they're celebrating Bernie has gone off for the lake now.
Bernie, after giving it a valiant effort, blah, blah, blah.
And now what they've done is they've basically sent Bernie and gotten him out of the way.
Bernie, there's her little home here on the lake, 600 grand.
This is what capitalism got you, Bernie.
Don't mistake socialism for this.
Now stay there.
And that's where he is.
But for me, this has always been about stopping what started eight years ago.
And I admit that there's some stuff that started prior to that.
The establishment is the establishment made up of both parties.
But I knew the Republican Party, the way it was currently structured, was not going to stop Obama.
They said so.
They announced they weren't going to impeach.
They announced they were not even going to disagree with him on policy in this year.
Last December, the budget for this fiscal year, they gave Obama even more than he asked for.
The Republicans who control the spending in the House gave him even more, so they didn't get any criticism whatsoever.
To me, there hasn't been anybody trying to stop Obama in these eight years in Washington, where Obama must be stopped.
And it better it we better stop her.
She's the nominee.
The country, as you and I know, I firmly believe this.
And this is, I think this is an example of truth, sounding so radical, because it's the kind of truth you're not supposed to say.
It's the kind of truth that's been buried and covered up with political correctness, politeness, and whatever is deemed to be appropriate.
But clearly, our program, our country is in a massive transformation brought on by specific policies, brought on by specific intent.
The people in charge of the transformation of this country have never liked this country the way it was founded.
They have never appreciated it.
They have resented it.
They believe odd things about America.
They believe it's the hotbed of racism and bigotry and homophobia, that America is the problem in the world.
These are the people shaping this country.
They are destroying every institution and tradition they can and remaking it.
They have taken aim at our pop culture and our general culture and society at large, and they are having tremendous success in making right wrong and wrong right and turning everything upside down.
They have done a great job in convincing as many people as possible to believe there should be no limits on any kind of behavior, and if you want to place limits, you are the bigot.
They have erased morality.
They have erased the whole concept of moral authority.
Nobody is allowed to have moral authority.
Nobody is allowed to define right and wrong because such concepts cannot possibly be universal in their world.
Morality is individual choice now.
You define it however you want to, and what your definition is is what is for you.
And nobody has the right to come along and tell you otherwise.
Well, this is going to lead, it has led, it is leading to mass confusion.
It is leading to the ripping up of roots and destroying the foundation of the greatest country that's ever been.
And that's why I say this election is going to be one or lost with whatever you want to call them, the great unwashed, the low information voter, the uh, however you define people that don't pay much attention to politics, other than a couple of weeks, maybe a month before the election.
It's about defeating the Democrat Party and what they stand for.
Because as I sit here, I don't care.
You take any of the 16 or 17 people that sought the Republican nomination, and there's not a one of them I would not have voted for over Hillary Clinton.
If it came down to it.
That's what this has always been about to me.
It's greater than my personal preferences over ideology and so forth.
It's bigger to me than party.
Country's always been bigger than party to me.
We have 70% of the American people admitting in a lot of polls, they think the country is going in the wrong direction.
Well, we can build on that.
The problem is that many in that 70% have no idea why.
And they're chalking it up to things that do not blame the people actually responsible for it.
The case is easily made that Democrat Party policies implemented in the last eight years have led to 94 million Americans not working, have led to the lowest home ownership in 51 years, have led to the student loan system becoming an absolute albatross around students' necks.
The reason more millennials can't find careers and are living at home, you can trace that to policies that have been implemented in Washington and in states run by Democrats.
I mean, look at this.
Hillary Clinton is in Michigan right now.
She's giving her answer to Trump's speech to the economic club of Detroit.
This is a state in a city, Detroit, that has been run for how many decades by the Democrats?
And everybody sees the problems that they have.
Everybody witnesses and lives among them.
And here comes the highest representative of the destructive policies that have created Detroit and made it what it is, telling them what they need to do in order to improve.
She hadn't the slightest idea.
The things that she wants to implement are nothing more than the continuation of current policy made even worse.
The challenge is to convince people who don't Understand this for whatever reason.
And that's the real challenge.
It's not enough to assemble your base who understands all this and turn out your base.
I wish it were.
I wish we already knew that we outnumbered them.
But the 70% of the people who think we're headed in the wrong direction, and by the way, vast majority of people in this country, whether they can tell you why or not, no.
Because of their sensory perception.
This just isn't the way good times feel.
This is not the way a roaring economy feels.
There isn't any optimism.
Instead, there's fear.
People are frightened of the future.
I'm not talking about billionaires.
I'm not talking about the super rich.
I'm talking about people who paycheck to paycheck or don't have much savings.
They're scared.
They're afraid their job could be eliminated, either by a robot or by somebody who'll come along from outside the country who'll do it for less.
They're worried they're going to have to tap into their savings if they have any.
They also still want to send their kids to school, but they know they can't afford to do that.
They can't afford health care.
They can't get anywhere near affording health care now.
The health care system, after supposedly being made better, and after everybody promised their premiums are going to come down by $2,500, $100.
dollars.
After being promised you could keep your doctor, keep your insurance plan, all of that out the window.
The healthcare industry is no more reachable by middle class people.
It's a distant place.
You better have insurance, and you better have insurance willing to pay off, and you better be able to afford it.
But there's no guarantees.
Now, there never are, but we are living under false promises of the Democrat Party, the Democrat Party that all this was not going to be the case.
This is not George W. Bush's fault.
This is not Ronald Reagan's fault.
This is not trickled down economics' fault.
The reason the healthcare industry is upside down.
The reason jobs are down, the reason the labor force has an all-time high number of people not in it, is directly traceable to policies implemented by Barack Obama and agreed to by Hillary Clinton, and those policies she is advocating be re-implemented and even doubled down on.
Okay.
To me, there's a whole lot of people who know, they sense, they feel that things aren't right.
All this immigration, they can see the virtual takeover of Europe.
They look around and they see massive racial unrest in Chicago, they see cops being shot.
This is just not the stuff of a country that's well oiled and functioning with a happy and upbeat population that's optimistic about the future.
These are just not the things that happen there.
Well, if you don't like the fact that cops are being shot, if you don't like the fact that crime seems to be out of control, whether it is or not, it seems to be.
I can convince anybody that it's Democrat Party policies that have made all this possible and are the reason these things are happening.
I think I could even convince people who don't even think this way.
I actually think I could convince people who are prepared to oppose me every day on this if I had a chance to actually get to them.
But regardless, I think that's where this election is going to be won or lost.
And I think the Democrats know this, which is why they are so focused on only one thing, simply.
Scaring everybody that Donald Trump is unfit, is unsuited, is mentally deranged, is maybe insane, is maybe out of control.
The only thing they've got is to scare people even more than they are already scared.
It is of special noteworthy Interest to me that the Democrat Party never uses optimism.
Never tries to rally people on the basis.
They talk about hope, but what's the hope to be delivered from misery?
Because the listen to the Democrats describe life in America, it's one misery after another.
It's one discrimination after another.
It's one forced pregnancy after another.
It's one dismal life lived after another.
The picture they paint of this country is one of constant suffering that you have to endure.
And if you vote Democrat, we'll make it easier for you to get through this misery, but they never promise optimism.
They never tell people how good they can be.
They never tell people that they're capable of much more than they even know, because they don't want people realizing that.
Because the more people exceed their own expectations, the less need there is for a command and control central government run by Democrats.
They have to take a break.
I know it's really bad when I have to stop and interrupt myself, but I've got no choice.
Okay, classic example of what I'm talking about.
Hillary Clinton's in war in Michigan, and she's announcing her economic policy.
She's revealing her economic plan.
This, of course, in response to Trump doing his a few days ago.
And she just she just made reference to how she knows people want good paying jobs.
With dignity that can support a family of four.
People are applauding, going nuts.
That's great, it's great.
And she says, so on day by the way, her hairstyle looks just like Trump's.
I mean, it looks like she's trying to look like Trump.
She got a different hairstyle out there today.
I mean, it's even a little orange.
But I digress.
So Mrs. Clinton says, so after telling everybody how she supports all these big paying jobs, family afford jobs with dignity.
Jobs that represent the dynamically greatest workforce in the world.
So everybody's okay, this is great.
She's gonna tell us how she's gonna do this.
She's got the magic wand answer.
You know what she said?
So on day one, I'm going to convene experts from both parties.
And we are going to put together the best job creation bill we have ever had.
Are you kidding me?
Great jobs, high paying jobs with dignity result from a government program that spends more money?
That expands the role of government?
Are you kidding me?
That is not how an economy creates jobs.
That is not how there are jobs with dignity.
Now government creates jobs in the public sector if you want to work for the government, or maybe if you want to work for a defense contract.
That's not what she's talking about.
She's she's addressing you people are unemployed, and she's trying to make you think that on day one she's going to assemble the best bipartisan panel of experts there has ever been.
And they're gonna sit down and they're gonna think of the best job creation bill there's ever been.
What would that be?
What can come out of Washington?
What piece of legislation that will actually cause pick any list of companies you want the moment that bill is signed to start hiring?
Well, Russia, if it has tax incentives, if it has tax breaks.
No, no, no, that's cronyism, folks.
No, no, no, no, because not everybody's gonna get those.
You wait.
Only Clinton's donors are gonna get those tax breaks.
The Wall Street guys.
The answer is there's not a thing she can do.
If that answer is the answer, why hasn't Obama done it?
Why have to we why does she tell us what that plan is now?
If she knows how to do this, if the Democrats have the answer, why have we even had the last eight years?
She doesn't have the answers.
She doesn't know how the private sector works because she resents it just like Obama does.
Why didn't Obama put together one of these bipartisan um commissions, smartest people, to create a wait he did?
That's right, he did Obama did do that.
In fact, Hillary hasn't suggested a single thing that Obama hasn't already done.
