Time Text
Meeting and surpassing all audience expectations every day.
Rush Limbaugh, half my brain tied behind my back just to make sure things are fair.
Fairness a big deal to the millennials out there.
Open line Friday and Wednesday, 800 282-2882, and L. Rushbow at EIB Net.com.
Just one more little add-on on this Quinnipiact poll that shows uh the race tightening in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
The reason Hillary Clinton is plummeting is dropping approval ratings on honesty and moral standards.
In other words, she's losing ground strictly on her own.
It's not the result of any Trump effort.
He's not running any ads against her.
He mentions her during his campaign appearances, but there isn't any Trump ad by out there that's characterizing Hillary.
She's doing this all on her own.
She is transmitting to people she's not honest, and that her morality is up for grabs.
That's important to note, folks.
FBI agents believe inside deal happened in Clinton email probe.
This is the Washington examiner, Sarah Westwood is the journalist.
I these stories actually hit last night.
There are two of them here.
First one is this.
FBI agents reportedly skeptical of the agency's decision to close the Hillary investigation without recommending charges.
Agents told the New York Post they believed there was an inside deal put in place after Loretta Lynch met privately with Bill Clinton.
We knew this we were waiting for this.
They were waiting for leaks from agents of the FBI who had participated in the investigation.
Investigators were, according to the Washington Examiner, investigators reportedly forced to sign unusually extensive NDAs, non-disclosure agreements, that would prevent them from speaking publicly about the investigation of Hillary Clinton's private email use.
By the way, these are the only two stories that you don't find this political, you don't find it New York Times, you don't find it uh Washington Post and BC ABC CBS.
Second story is in the New York Post.
John Crude Dell, in an unusual move of FBI agents working the Hillary Clinton case, had to sign a special form reminding them not to blab about the investigation to anybody unless they were called to testify.
Sources said they had never heard of the case briefing acknowledgement form being used before.
Although all agents must initially sign NDAs to obtain security clearance.
This is very, very unusual, said one retired FBI chief.
I've never signed one.
I've never circulated one to others.
FBI agent currently on the job admitted, I've never heard of such a form.
Sounds strange.
Not surprising, is it?
It uh fits right in with what a lot of people suspected was going on.
Katrina Pearson is a Trump spokesbabe.
She was on CNN today with Wolf Blitzer mere moments ago.
I was actually watching this, not knowing what I was watching, because I was also hosting, so I just saw it up there.
I didn't even have time to read the captioning.
But the exchange involves Black Lives Matter and the killing of five police officers in Dallas, and here is how it went.
You can't lump in all the people who support the Black Lives Matter movement and say they want to destroy the police.
There are some isolated voices who utter really ugly things.
No, no, we don't get to do that.
We don't get to do that, Wolf.
I've been on CNN for quite some time now, and every time one person, not even affiliated with the Tea Party, did something, the entire organization was blanketed with it on every network.
So we're not going to just pick and choose which organization's leads or not, because these are the people who are actually leading the movement that are saying these things.
Leaders, not just voices that are affiliated with it, actual leaders.
We could disagree on that.
What she's saying is, you know, we she she apparently had made the statement here that Black Lives Matter as a movement is out to destroy the cops and uproot and transform it's and Wolf, you can't say that.
You can't say that.
You can't say that.
You can't say that every member of the organist, yes, some some some really, you know, uh uh isolated voices utter some really ugly things, and she said, Wolf, you don't get to do that.
Because we don't get to do that.
Whenever something happens and the Tea Party's not involved, you and other networks make tracks to indict the entire Tea Party movement.
When it's not even involved, Wolf.
Every time one person, not even affiliated with the Tea Party, does something, the entire Tea Party is ripped to shreds on every network.
So we're not just gonna pick and choose which organizations get to do this or not.
These are people actually leading the movement, Wolf.
Black Lives Matter leaders are saying that they want to destroy the cops and so well, well, we'll just agree.
This proves that Black Lives Matter is a Democrat front group.
If Wolf Blitzer has to move in to defend it, if a standard run-of-the-mill drive by anchor or journalist feels compelled to defend the movement, then by definition, it's a Democrat Party front group.
That's all the evidence that you need.
I'm sure that you are all aware of the sexual harassment lawsuit that's been filed by Gretchen Carlson against Roger Ailes at Fox News.
It's a lawsuit not aimed at Fox.
It's targeted specifically at Roger Ailes.
And I've had people email me, why haven't you commented on this?
Um, A, I didn't I actually think it was necessary, but I'd be happy to.
Um but before I do, um I just want to remind you that as I knew would happen.
There have been a plethora of women, employees at Fox, who have stood up and said they don't understand it.
They've never seen it, they've never seen any evidence of it, they've never been treated this way.
They were shocked and stunned.
Let's see if I can remember the women.
We've had Kimberly Gilfoyle, Sandra Smith, Janine Piero of Judge Janine, uh uh Ainsley Earhart.
Uh uh there's a bunch of them.
Yeah, Neil Cavuto has probably even Horaldo has uh has weighed in.
And um Martha McCallum weighed in.
Greta Van Sustran has they they're all saying that they've never seen this, they've never been treated this way, they've never seen any sign of it anywhere.
But Gretchen insists.
So people are trying to let me throw in, folks.
I've known Roger Ailes since 1990.
I've never seen Roger Ailes even flirt with a woman.
And I'm we Roger used to uh some of the most fun things.
Saturday afternoon water volleyball games of his.
He had a he had a home at one time at Croton on Hudson.
And Rudy would show up with his kids and just uh it was a representative group of the New York uh Republican power structure.
It's all kind of Peter Powers, uh his family, it was families and so forth.
And I the the some people that worked for Roger, a lot of women.
I'm when I saw this, I I of all the people in the world that you would think might have this proclivity.
Roger Ailes would be at the bottom of any list.
Um I've never seen him do anything other than interact with great friendliness and respect for women.
I this it it totally took me aback.
And when I say I've never seen him flirt, I mean it.
I've never seen him flirt.
I've known him when he was married, I've known him when he was single.
Uh double dated.
I've never seen it.
I've never seen one sign of this.
I've I've never had, I've never heard one woman.
I know some of the people that work at Fox.
It's never ever been mentioned.
And like everybody else, I was I was shocked and taken aback when uh when I saw this.
I also know Gretchen.
I've been interviewed by Gretchen at the Miss America pageant.
Um I know that she's uh she's a Christian, she's religious.
Then I found this story on Breitbart.
Gretchen Carlson attorney donates big to left-wing Democrats who aggressively criticize Fox News.
Nancy Erica Smith, an analysis of political donations that Nancy Erica Smith has made, she's the lawyer for Greta uh for uh for Gretchen, shows that she is a hardcore progressive Democrat who's given thousands upon thousands of dollars to Democrat candidates for office.
Many of those Democrats that Smith has supported have repeatedly viciously, very publicly criticized Fox for its coverage.
And how did Gretchen end up with this lawyer?
I mean, uh those are the questions I ask.
How does she end up with somebody like this?
Now maybe if you're gonna bring a lawsuit like this, you want to go out and find a pit bull that hates Fox.
Um maybe maybe that's what she has uh what she's done.
Well, I'm telling you, folks, uh this I I of all the people about whom you could make such an allegation.
This is one that nobody who knows him would believe.
It's just you know, I um I introduced Roger, he was he was given an award in 2009 by a Boy Scout group in suburban New York, and there were a number of people who spoke, and I was uh I was one.
And the the point that I made, here you have Fox News, and at the time, this was 2009, at the time Fox had 1700 employees.
Fox debuted in 1997.
And I said, the thing that you have to know about Roger Ails is that he's a winner and a leader.
And to illustrate this, I want you to look at Fox News and admit what you know about it.
It has a distinctive identity.
It has a unique and distinctive culture.
Its identity is different from any other news organization.
It is perceived to be honest.
Its fans, it's back in 2009, perceived Fox to be unbiased and fair and balanced and all these things.
And I said, the guy responsible for this, not even on the air.
Roger Ayles never once appears on camera.
Roger Ailes has never appeared on camera.
Roger Ailes yet, because of his leadership and dynamism, has been able to create a culture with 1700 people who are all oriented in the same professional direction.
I said, you can't accomplish that unless you are deeply and profoundly respected.
You can't have that kind of do you realize how hard it is?
Imagine being a boss of 1700 people, but pick whatever business you want.
Being a boss of 1,700 people and having your business day in and day out be true to its identity.
No matter who is on the air, no matter who's doing what, no matter who off the air is writing, producing, booking.
It's it's like you pull into McDonald's, you want a quarter pounder with cheese, no matter where you go, it better taste like a quarter pounder with cheese.
If it doesn't, then there's a problem.
Well, no matter what time of day, no matter what day of the week, you tune on Fox News, it better be what you're expecting, or you're not gonna stay.
And it is.
It's to me.
You know, it's easy for me to control the culture of this show because it's just me.
I'm the only one here.
I don't have any writers, producers, or anything else to control.
I sometimes have to ride her on snerdily in phone calls, but I'm just kidding.
But 1,700 people, and having them all on the same page you are.
I just don't know how you do that without having commanded the respect and loyalty of all of those people.
And I don't know how you do that if you're out engaging in things like sexual harassment and threats and and saying if you don't sleep with me, you're not gonna be working tonight or whatever, which whatever these allegations are.
Just it doesn't make any sense.
To anybody that I know who knows Roger.
So that's I haven't held back on saying about it.
Uh but the story on Gretchen's lawyer and her political objectives served as a good transition for me to get into it today.
So let me take a brief time out here, folks.
I'll come back and next up, uh, we're gonna mix your phone calls in with the latest Hillary Clinton sound bites, and Trump's vice president Ruth Bader Ginsburg, by the way.
Even the New York Times raked her over the Colts for what she has done, what she has said about Trump.
But the question is, is anything gonna happen to her?
She has violated, blatantly violated what is known as Canon Five of the official judge handbook.
My words.
Canon five essentially says you do not comment on anything that could end up coming before you.
You don't comment on current political issues or events, because you are compromising your own ability to be a judge.
I mean, the things that she's saying about Trump and moving to New Zealand, I mean, what if what if a contested election causes another recount that ends up before the Supreme Court?
Or what if Trump wins and wants to come along and do away with Obamacare?
What she's she's forever tainted here.
There she she cannot render a decision anymore that is not going to be considered political and suspicious.
Precedent or otherwise, it isn't going to appear to be objective.
I think now that she's done this, you know, I I think every judicial nominee from this day forward needs to be asked about.
You agree with Ruth Vader-Ginsburg, and just throw back at this nominee everything she has said.
What do you think about cases?
We all know you think about cases.
We all know that you judges have opinions.
Well, she's told us what hers is, what are yours?
Let's force it out of them from now on.
I think it's an opportunity, maybe.
Thank you, sir.
And how are you?
I'm well, sir.
Thanks for taking my call.
I've been listening since the beginning.
I appreciate that, sir, very much.
I'd like to point out that as far as I'm concerned, the polls seem to be f slanted Democrat 64.
It seems to me Romney's in a dead heat.
If he could get, or not Romney, but Trump, if he could get Romney and his band of losers to go along with him, we'd be beating Hillary no problem.
I wonder, you know, and this It's an interesting point.
What his point is, if Trump is within the margin of error after the all-out Hillary financial advertising assault.
And without any Trump response, no corresponding ad response categorizing Hillary as this, that if the entire party would mobilize behind Trump, if all the never Trumpers would get on board that it might just lead to some huge momentum.
Uh I can see common sense would indicate that might be a plus.
But some of those people, and the way they are is also why Trump has the support that he's got.
That's why I worry about his vice presidential pick, to be honest with you.
My question is this.
Here are the picks.
This is what is in the public domain right now.
That Trump wants Christie.
Trump's kids want Mike Pence.
And Newt is a dark horse, but supposedly Newt's been rejected because his uh his his era that he was famous and biggest too far back in history.
Now, Trump is he's hired some consultants now.
You know, he's got Ed Rollins and some guys in there to you know bring professionalism to campaign structure and so forth.
So the question I have is if those people weren't there, would these be the names that Trump would be considering?
I don't know.
I don't know, folks.
I'm not I'm not a Trumpist insider.
So I I don't I don't know if these names are prominent in Trump's list because somebody's told him, look, you gotta have some connection to party.
You have to have some connection to professional Republicans, you've got to have somebody who knows the drill.
Uh governor uh uh so you gotta have somebody out there.
Um, which is standard operating procedure thinking of establishment types.
If they weren't there, who would Trump choose?
It could be the same kind of people.
I don't know.
I really don't know.
I'm just speculating here.
But Katrina Pearson said that we're gonna find out tomorrow, Friday.
So you'll either find out with Mark Belling here tomorrow or Buck Sexton, late of the CIA here on Friday.
And I knew this might be a risk, but these are scheduled dates every year.
They're annual things that I that I commit to.
You know, we live in an information age.
It's easy to buy something on your phone, your computer, have it delivered to your home.
In fact, a lot of people, it's easier than going to a store and picking up same thing and checking out the line, putting a car in a lot, and driving home.
People tend to buy more when they can do it on the phone or on the computer at home or wherever.
And then get your little tracking app and follow the delivery process on UPS or FedEx.
But this leads, the more you use your computer, the more use your credit card on the iPhone, the greater your risk for identity theft, because these thieves work overtime trying to hack databases where your information is stored.
And you can end up having your information stolen and purloined without you even being targeted.
And you might not even know it happens for a while, so thieves rack up charges you don't even know it's happening.
They might in your bank accounts open new bank accounts.
The way to prevent this from happening is life lock.
Identity theft has become the fastest growing kind of crime in America.
It's easy to understand why.
And it's why I feel totally confident with life lock.
They out there every day scan gazillions of these transactions for all of their clients.
Anything appears out of the ordinary, they get in touch with the client and just ask them to verify that uh they're engaging in this behavior.
If they are, fine.
If they're not, life lock goes into gear and tries to shut it down and identify the the thief, but if they're not able to do that, they're at least to stop the fraud.
But they can't stop everything.
Nobody can.
So LifeLock offers something else.
If you happen to get hacked, if your identity happens to get stolen, they've got a whole staff of people that does nothing but fix it.
Working for you, a gigantic U.S.-based team of experts that essentially put Humpty Dumpty back together again, you being Humpty Dumpty.
There isn't anybody else that does that.
Free credit reporting uh agencies that will try to track uh unusual usage, yeah, but nobody's got a staff of people that put you back together like Lifelock Does.
Full service.
And becoming a member is easy.
It's open to everybody.
You call them at 800 440 4833.
It's 995 a month to start.
Use my name when you sign up, 10% off.
Lifelock.com is another way.
And use the same thing.
Use my name, 10% off the 999.
But call them.
8440 4833 is the number for life lock.
Okay, Hillary Clinton this afternoon, Springfield, Illinois.
She's going in there and she's trying to act like Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat.
She's trying to get away with the idea that she's a great unifier, like Lincoln was.
She's trying to fool everybody.
Lincoln was a Republican.
There she is, trying to present her present herself as the incarnation of Lincoln.
So here's a portion of her remarks at the beginning.
There is too much violence and hate in our country.
Too little trust and common ground.
Where's the screen?
It can feel impossible to have the conversations we need to have to fix what's broken.
See, that's the key.
And despite being the richest country on earth, we have too much economic inequality.
And that also undermines the foundation of our democracy.
It does not.
This is a myth, Heather MacDonald.
I asked her specifically about this when I interviewed her last week.
That is a myth.
They use the same excuse to explain terrorism.
Well, poor countries, these young men got nothing to do, they can't make it a live.
It's BS, folks.
We have had poverty in this country since the beginning.
We've had poverty since the first days of the Garden of Eden.
We've had power it has never, it has never been the reason why, the primary reason why there is crime.
A falling moral code, a a destruction of values.
America has always provided a way up from poverty anyway.
That's what's missing today.
The Democrat Party doesn't believe in that.
The Democrat Party believes in redistribution.
They believe in taking from achievers, punishing achievers, and then redistributing the money to the poor, which keeps them poor, because there isn't enough to give away to make everybody wealthy.
We don't have any money anyway.
National debt, 20 trillion dollars.
It's all this is all a joke.
Economic inequality does not lead to crime.
Economic inequality is not why we have black lives matter.
Economic inequality is not why we had Occupy Wall Street.
Economic inequality is not the reason for any of these horrible acts of violence.
Maybe isolated cases, but it's not the overall sociological reason.
It can feel impossible to have the conversations.
We need to have to fix what's broken.
They don't want to fix it.
That's the point of the grievance industry.
They don't want to solve this.
There's no money in that.
There's no future in it.
The power is the grievance.
The power is the unhappiness.
The power is being discriminated against.
The power is being the victim.
You can't fix that.
You have no cause if you do that.
They don't want to fix it.
That's the problem.
That's the dirty little secret.
And the Democrats don't want it fixed either.
The more chaos, the more poverty, the more dependent people to vote for them.
Here's the next bite that we can rip to short.
Yes, we do need to listen to those who say black lives matter.
We don't need to be able to do that.
Too many black Americans, especially young men, feel like their lives are disposable, and they worry every single day about what might happen.
They have every reason to feel that way, and it's absolutely unacceptable.
Everyone in America, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
Surely that is something we can all unite behind.
So many people are trying to do that, and it doesn't matter.
Because that's not what this is about either.
Have you noticed?
If you're doubting Me.
Have you noticed that no Democrat issue ever gets resolved?
Talk to African Americans.
They've been voting Democrat for 50 years.
Still as angry as they were 50 years ago, aren't they?
There's still as much discrimination.
You listen to it, still as much racism.
I mean, guy in North Carolina, MAALCP said it's still lynchings for crying out.
They haven't solved a thing.
There's still poverty.
There's still no jobs.
Democrats have been promising for 50 years to fix this if it never gets fixed, does it?
The Feminazis, they're never happy either.
Because somebody's always perceived to be trying to take abortion away from them.
So it's never fixed, is it?
Take whatever leftist issue you want.
We've never, we haven't even gotten close to resolving them.
And yet the Democrats are promising.
They're the only ones that can do it, they're the only ones that will do it.
They're the only ones looking out for people.
They don't fix a damn thing.
Every Democrat voter has got a grievance, is as ticked off and enraged today, if not more than the day they became Democrats and realized why.
They don't fix anything.
They don't make anybody happier.
They don't add to anybody's contentment.
They never create the jobs they promise.
They don't fix the roads they promise.
They don't rebuild the schools they promise.
They don't do anything.
And when they don't do anything, guess who gets blamed for not doing it?
He's evil, rascally Republicans and talk radio always blamed for why things never get fixed.
They don't want them fixed.
They don't want the solution.
Right on, L. Rushboat serving humanity simply by being here and speaking.
And we go to Dayton, Ohio.
This is Angela.
Great to have you on the show.
Hi.
Thanks, Rush.
It's a pleasure to speak with you.
Thank you so much.
You bet.
I'll make it as quick as I can.
Um with the R and C convention coming up and all of the horse trading that's been going on and what they're going to stand for and say.
I just have this pit in my stomach that we're going to have the same losing narrative that has cost us vote.
And I think that regardless of what's been agreed to, if Donald Trump would get up there and say these three things, I think that he had he'd have a lot more to gain than to lose.
And if he said, you know, gay marriage, we're gonna leave it alone, folks.
We're gonna leave it alone.
It's not even critical to our national security or our economy, we're gonna do that.
Don't worry, he doesn't care about it.
When it comes to abortion rights, I think he ought to say we're gonna focus on late term abortion.
And when it comes to free college, I think his answer ought to be that you know what?
It makes great sense when it comes to studying for science and technology.
Because that's what our nation needs.
And that's what its president should be all about, what our nation needs.
Make us great again.
Well, why don't you why do you want the Democrats do all that?
Why do you want the Republican convention to do that?
Well, I mean, you you may as well watch the Democrat convention if that's what you want to hear.
Did she vomit us?
Is she gone out?
The body of people, we're so diverse.
We don't all agree on what the narrative's been, and the narrative has been an absolute loser.
It's not gonna change.
The results will be the same if he doesn't change.
And I think you have to say that.
The things the things that you just cited are not why we're losing.
You think they are, because you're buying hook line and sinker, the usual criticism of the Republican Party from the establishment types and the moderate Republicans who also want to join the Democrats in amnesty, who don't want to criticize Obama in any way, shape, manner, or form, because they don't be called racists.
We're not losing elections because we're pro-life.
Contrary to what everybody thinks.
We're not losing elections.
We're we're losing elections because we don't oppose the Democrats.
We're losing elections because we do not have the courage to stand up for what we actually believe in.
We're a totally defensive party, and I I hate to say it, but your your your recipe is is not proactive, it's not aggressive uh at all.
Uh but uh gay marriage, Trump doesn't care.
He's not gonna talk about it.
Um he's got 73% support of the evangelicals right now.
He wants to grow that.
But he's not the Republican Party is is not gonna cave on on abortion, and if if the Republican Party starts giving away college tuition, they may as well just disband.
I mean, that's Hillary's gonna do that.
Hillary's already making plans.
She's already setting the table for forgiving student loan debt.
Anyway, I understand your sentiment.
You're not alone.
There's a lot of moderate Republicans who think that.
Those are not why we're losing.
Anyway, I appreciate the call.
I really do.
Okay, folks, I will be back on Monday.
Mark Belling will be here tomorrow, and Buck Sexton on Friday.
And it appears Trump's VP will be named one of those two days.
But to find out what it all really means, be here on Monday.
If it happens.
See you then.
