Hey, I wonder if all those AIG executives in uh Connecticut last year, whose houses were surrounded by chanting, protesting mobs from Acorn and the SEIU union bust in Democrat activists.
I wonder if they had any death threats.
I wonder if they're going to be interviewed about the threat level now.
Greetings, my friends, it's great to have you here, Rush Limbois and the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.
800-282-2882.
We're doing open line Friday on Thursday today because I'm going to be out tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday.
Uh after like a little trip.
And so we've got Mark's Mark Davis here from Dallas tomorrow.
And who's in it?
Who is it on Monday and Tuesday, H. Okay, Mark Stein will be here Monday and Tuesday.
And uh depending on whether or not I can get back in time for Wednesday, Mark Davis on Wednesday, if I'm not able to get back, I'm gonna be a 15-hour trip.
I got I'm scouting health care alternatives, uh, folks, uh outside the country uh the next three or four days, since Costa Rica is no longer an option.
John Deere, Iowa's largest manufacturing employer, said in a statement this morning that the recently passed health care legislation will cost the company 150 million dollars after tax this year.
Obama is in Iowa City in an hour for a health care support rally.
Have you ever asked yourself, does it?
Why does somebody have to go out and sell something after it's passed?
It's what why?
Why does he have to do why does he have to go do this?
What does it matter?
Well, the only way it matters is trying to save the day for Democrats in November.
But he has to go out and now sell this thing after it's passed.
Well, that's like Pelosi said.
We have to sign it.
We have to pass it.
Find out what's in it.
And we are finding out what's in it.
So John Deere and other companies warned Congress in a letter last December the imposition of a tax on the prescription costs that uh they're now going to face would force corporations, publicly traded corporations like John Deere to publicly account for the extra costs.
Could cost them a hundred and fifty million dollars.
And don't forget, it was uh caterpillar.
It said the health care bill's gonna cost them 150 million.
Now, this is gonna lead to more unemployment, folks, and it's gonna lead to fewer health care benefits.
That's just this year for John Deere and Caterpillar.
And those are big corporations, small businesses are also being hit.
Well, I can give you details if you wish.
But I want to take you back to April 24th, 2006.
Uh, this was a um a YouTube uh of an interview in April with uh Larry King, Nancy Pelosi.
With skyrocketing gas prices, it is clear the American people can no longer afford the Republican rubber stamp Congress and its failure to stand up to Republican big oil and gas company cronies.
The price of gasoline when she made this statement was $2.91 cents.
We're headed for over $3 a gallon.
Is there anybody raising a rauco about this?
In the media, anybody demanding to know what big oil is doing?
Anybody demanding to know where these obscene profits are going?
Nope.
From the Daily Caller, this is Chatsworth Osborne Jr.'s website.
According to a study released today by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and reported by USA Today, it's cheaper to put homeless families in real homes than it is to house them in shelters.
Do you know what the average cost of sheltering a single homeless family in Washington is?
Uh let me put it another way.
Think of your mortgage.
Whatever that number is, put it in your head when I tell you that according to the housing and uh the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the average cost of sheltering a single homeless family in Washington ranges between 2,500 and $3,700 a month.
Homeless people to put them in shelters.
Nationwide, 1.6 million homeless people received shelter in 2008, according to government figures.
We saw higher costs, longer lengths of stay than expect all this happening under Obama's watch.
I'm I'm shocked and stunned we're even getting news about the homeless.
Given that we have a uh Democrat in the White House.
Let's go to the audio sound bites.
This is really good.
There's a guy out there, Jason Matera.
Jason Matera has a book out.
Uh new book called Obama Zombies.
Now, Jason Matera is a lifelong listener to this program.
And he's quite a creative guy.
He's a rush baby.
He got a little video camera and he went out and he confronted Stenny Hoyer.
Uh this says February.
This happened yesterday, I think.
Uh well, maybe it was February 28, 2000.
I'm I'm sh I I think the the the I'll assume the date here is right, February 28th.
I thought it was yesterday, but nevertheless, doesn't matter.
It's recent.
And he softened old Stenny up.
Hey, Mr. Hoyer, congratulations on that great health care bill.
It's a wonderful thing that you didn't.
You know, Hoyer is sitting there basking in the uh in the praise, and after he's got Hoyer feeling all comfortable, he then bores in with this.
How do you have the stones to tax Americans for not purchasing health care when you have tax cheat Charlie Wrangell writing legislation and tax cheat Tim Geitner enforcing it?
Uh the uh the effort we're focused on uh is is making sure that every American has availability of health care.
In order to do that, you're asking every American to be involved in the system.
We think that's appropriate, whoever they are.
You're gonna tax them, though.
And you have Charlie Wrangle who doesn't pay his own taxes, and Tim Geitner.
The left wingers have made hypocrisy in art form.
That's Jason Matera and his new book is Obama Zombies.
Hey, how do you have the stones to tax Americans for not buying health care when you have tax cheat Charlie Wrangle writing legislation, tax cheat Tim Geitner enforcing it?
That's the kind of question Democrats do not get.
Yesterday on this program, you heard me say this.
Remember what they're doing here, and you see it happening with the Ann Coulter situation up in Canada.
That's possibly our future.
They don't have free speech up there.
If the people in charge don't like what you're saying, they can keep you from saying it.
Yeah, what they're trying to do is criminalize now all criticism of Obama as hate speech.
Right on cue.
Last night, Chris Matthews, hard-boiled, he had as his guest uh Chris Van Holland, the Democrat from Maryland, discussing criticism of President Obama.
Would you say that this incitement from the Republican leadership is criminal?
I mean, seriously, if people are going to have windows thrown, bricks that if they're gonna get their lives threatened, if we're getting criminal behavior resulting from their incitement, is the incitement itself criminal.
There's no denying the fact that they are stoking the flames here, and they are not trying to separate themselves.
In fact, they've embraced the benefits, what they consider to be the political benefits from these activities.
I'm not going to repeat all of the examples, all the news stories of all of violence, real violence, hate speech at all committed by Democrats.
In the last six or seven years.
I did that in the first hour.
I'm just giving you examples.
I knew what I'm talking about when I talk about these people.
One of the examples I have saved for this hour is this from Chris Matthews himself, last October on the 13th, on a morning show on MSNBC.
Ask yourself when you listen to this, if what Matthews said is criminal.
You guys see Live and Let Die, the Great Bond film with with uh Yaf and Koto as the bad guy, Mr. Big.
In the end, they jammed a big CO2 pellet in his face and he blew up.
I have to tell you, Rush Lemba is beginning to look more and more like Mr. Big.
And at some point, somebody's gonna jam a CO2 pellet into his head and he's gonna explode like a giant blimp.
That day may come.
I think he's Mr. Big.
I think Yaf and Kodo.
Are you watching Rush?
Is that is that hate speech?
Uh is that inciting violence?
Uh is that criminal?
On television, Griff Math Chris Matthews actually envisioning with great joy the day somebody jams a gun in my mouth and pulls the trigger.
Last night on Hardball with Chris Matthews, he had uh Mark Halper in the Time magazine senior political analyst.
And uh they were talking about White House criticism of John McCain.
Matthew says, What are they up to with these patronizing comments about the Senator from Arizona?
What from the White House?
What's that about?
With John McCanny's a special case because they have practice from the campaign of painting him as petulant and erratic.
And the more they can do that to any Republican leader, they'll do it to Rush Limbaugh and others as well.
They want to do that because they want the public to see the Republican Party led by people who are uncooperative and emotional and petulant.
Never forget what this is really all about.
This is all about the fact that the Democrats need to paint themselves as victims.
They're the ones who do not want to be bothered by their conscience if they have one.
They have to change uh the uh the focus on this.
And they want to make themselves innocent victims of an unruly mob of a bunch of tea partiers.
They are shaken.
And this conservatives' violence uh prone people's narrative is the only way they can cope, because never forget, folks, the real death threat is their legislation.
The real death threat to our economy, to the country as founded, to our health care system.
The real death threat is the bill Obama signed into law on Tuesday morning.
Oh, yeah, but it's all my fault.
It's all the fault of all of us on the radio.
Sarah Palin.
Ann Calder.
Yeah, we're inciting all of this.
Here's Dylan Radigan, MSNBC.
Yesterday afternoon, last night, whenever it was.
Many fear the angry rhetoric has gone too far among Tea Partiers and even conservative talk show hosts who seek to stir up that small fringe and incite them to action.
One Tea Party leader promised an election day onslaught.
Rush Limbaugh inciting his listeners to defeat these bastards and the Alabama Tea Party warning.
We are all getting our second wind when we do, you better watch out.
Sounds a little bit like a threat.
Just amazing.
These people have no memory of their own words and their own actions.
But make no mistake, this is all coordinated.
This is all coordinated from the highest levels of the White House and down to the Democrat Party.
The facts is the talking points, the marching orders have gone out to all the members of the media.
That's why they're all saying the same things, and that's why they're all citing the same people.
And while this is a fringe movement, I want to remind you of a CBS news poll out.
Sixty-two percent of the American people want the Republican Party to continue to oppose the health care bill.
Sixty-two percent.
That ain't fringe.
And yeah, we do.
We do want to run these people out of Washington.
Via the ballot box.
We do want to beat them.
We want to send them packing.
A lot of us think it's the only hope the country has.
Hi.
Welcome back, Rush Limbaugh.
Talent on loan from God.
Eric Cantor this afternoon on Capitol Hill held a press conference.
Here's what he said.
I've received threats since I assumed elected office, not only because of my position, but also because I'm Jewish.
I've never blamed anyone in this body for that.
Period.
Any suggestion that a leader in this body would incite threats or acts against other members is akin to saying that I would endanger myself, my wife, or my children.
Just recently, I have been directly threatened.
A bullet was shot through the window of my campaign office in Richmond this week, and I've received threatening emails.
But I will not release them because I believe such actions will only encourage more to be sent.
Exactly right.
Exactly right.
The difference is the Democrats are making up most of their stories for the express purpose of creating even more of this.
Remember, Obama and the Democrats need chaos, unrest to keep you distracted as best they can from what they're doing to keep you unsettled.
General chaos is one of their uh one of their ingredients.
In the recipe they're cooking up for the country.
Do you remember uh Alec Baldwin, uh, ladies and gentlemen, saying that if we were in other countries, we would all be all right now, all of us together would go down to Washington.
We would stone Henry Hyde to death.
Do you remember Alec Baldwin saying that?
If we lived in a different country, we could stone Henry Hyde.
And I have to sit here and listen to members of the Democrat media talk about all this inciting hate rhetoric that's coming from Tea Partiers when they can't find any?
When they have to make up the rhetoric.
Eric Cantor went on during his press conference and said this.
It is reckless to use these incidents as media vehicles for political gain.
That is why I have deep concerns that some DCC Chairman Chris Van Holland and DNC Chairman Tim Kane in particular are dangerously fanning the flames by suggesting that these incidents be used as a political weapon.
Enough is enough.
It has to stop.
That's Eric Cantor, and again, nailing it, the Democrats are using these incidents for political purposes for political gain.
To the phones, we go to Waterloo, Iowa.
Anne, great that you waited and welcome to the program.
Hello, Bruce.
Hey.
Hey, I'm here at we're at Iowa City at the University.
I got invited by a University of Iowa uh student to come protest and we're here.
Hey, wait just a wait, wait, wait uh uh uh why are you yelling?
Well, I don't know, I'm excited.
I'm excited because I finally have a group of people who are against Obama and have realized that he is a terror to our country.
He's ripping and trying to just break us apart, and uh there are a lot of people finally waking up and I am thrilled to be around them, and I'm a thrill to have been invited by a Iowa City student.
And uh as a matter of fact, I've got 'em, they're all around.
Uh all around us.
Here's a law student.
Say hi to Rush.
Hey Rush, how are you doing?
I'm very well, sir.
You're a law student.
Yeah, I'm a law student.
Well, make sure you obey it today.
Whatever you do, you you if you're a law, you tell these guys and these people agroup you to obey the law.
Do not give them what they want.
Absolutely, Rush.
You got it.
I mean, blow kisses at them.
You know, put some t-shirts on, say free love.
Do what they were doing in the 60s.
You know, love forever.
Endless sex, whatever.
Make it all make it all about touchy feely stuff.
Do not break the law.
They're all around here.
There are some counter protesters here.
They're they're getting blown over by the wind, but rush they're hard, they're trying real hard, and uh, I think one of them had a uh had an aluminum foil hat on.
It was uh pretty hilarious to see.
Uh good.
Have fun with it.
That just have fun with it and tell them to obey the law.
Do not give Obama and the Democrats and the media what they're hoping for at these rallies.
You know, go topless.
Yeah, just yeah, just to put free love, you know, like the the the hippies used to do back in the sixties.
Uh San Francisco, wear some flowers in your hair.
Pretend it's Woodstock out there.
You know, smoke some marijuana.
Uh Obama might come out and join you.
Uh, maybe against the law, yeah, you're right.
But I mean it's never enforced, is it?
I mean, you can tell them you're all sick because of the health care bill and you need a medical marijuana to make yourselves deal with the pain of what Obama has personally brought to Iowa City.
Have fun with this stuff, folks.
Julie in Belize Creek, or Bellis Creek, North Carolina.
Hello.
Hello, Rush.
It's an honor to speak with you.
Um, the reason I was calling is because I want to draw attention to the way Obama has been treating Israel.
It's a disgrace.
Uh the way Netanyahu was treated, but um I I subscribed to Joel Rosenberg's website, and on his website today, um, Rosberg said one of the most disturbing things was not only the way Obama has been pressuring Netanyahu to give up land in Jerusalem, but also he spent most of the day on the phone yesterday with um Britain, France, and Germany trying to basically convince them to do the same.
And I guess the reason it's so upsetting is because this is the first American president that has ever tried to basically create an alliance against Israel, one of our greatest allies.
Yeah, I know.
I've um I've said I've said it all, but I've got the solution to the problem.
And I'm gonna I do.
I'm gonna call.
I'm I know BB.
Nether no.
I'm gonna call him up and I say there's an easy way to fix this.
Change the name of the country to Iran.
There you go.
There you go.
Tal you'll have to do.
Change the name of the country to Iran and problem solved.
What?
Don't you think I'm gonna get in trouble for saying that, Don?
Gee, don't get don't don't get uh don't get defensive, scared on me in there.
All right, we have to take a brief time out here.
Uh ladies and gentlemen back.
Well, doesn't that perfectly illustrate what the hell is going on?
800-282-2882, if you want to be on the program, brief timeout back before you know it.
Long cool woman, black dress.
Hollies, Rush Limbaugh, the EIB network and the Limbaugh Institute.
For advanced conservative studies, I am reminded of the following by a friend.
The great majority of modern presidential and other political assassins have been men and women of the left.
Lee Harvey Oswald, Sirhan Sirhan.
The Farrakhan supported Muslim killers of Malcolm X, and Jerry Ford's would-be killers, Sarah Jane Moore and Squeaky From, all leftists.
Some people have forgotten that the assassination of McKinley, your assassin of McKinley.
Leon Zolgos was an anarchist.
The man who shot at FDR and missed, killed the mayor of Milwaukee was Giuseppe Zangara, a political radical.
The attempt to kill Truman and blow up the Congress in 1950 was carried out by Pretorrican nationalists.
And apropos of political violence is also worth mentioning that the KKK was composed almost entirely of Democrats.
Robert Byrd and Justice Hugo Black are liberal icons who belonged.
So briefly did Harry Truman.
All of these assassins, all of these radicals are men and women of the left.
When's the last time you ever heard of a conservative riot?
Remember this from the Australian 25 July 2006 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
Betty Williams displayed a flash of her feisty Irish spirit yesterday, lashing out at U.S. President George W. Bush during a speech to hundreds of school children.
Right now, I would love to kill George Bush.
Her young audience at the Brisbane City Hall clapped and cheered.
Thursday, July 12, 2007, Nobel Peace Prize winner Betty Williams came from Ireland to Texas to declare that President Bush should be impeached.
Right now, I could kill George Bush.
She said at the Adams Mark Hotel and Conference Center in Dallas.
No, I don't mean that.
How could you nonviolently kill?
That's the second time she had said it.
This is Leslie, Bristol, Tennessee.
Welcome to the EIB network.
Great to have you here.
Hi, Rush.
How are you doing today?
Very well, thanks.
Um, I was calling just to let you know that my son is turning a year old on Easter, and he is a rush baby.
Literally.
His middle name is Rush.
Finally!
Finally.
Somebody named a human being after me instead of a dog.
Yes, I did.
And I have gotten lots of compliments or lots of not so nice things said about it, but you know, that's okay.
We'll have their opinion.
You have swerved into a world of controversy with that name.
What's the first name of your child?
Camden.
Camden.
Right.
Cal Ripkin Jr. was my favorite ball player growing up, and we live in the South.
So Cal is kind of sounds like Mu cow.
So we named him Camden after the ballpark where he played.
So that's what his name is, Camden Rush.
Camden Rush.
Well, I'm a year old on Easter.
I'm uh I'm very honored.
Well, thank you.
I'm so happy to name him after you.
You're you're a great uh gentleman in our family.
Did your husband have any say so in this?
Yeah, he was fine with it.
He said it was cool.
He loves you too.
Well, go.
Yeah.
Cool.
I I'm sure that um I'm sure he asks you what to think uh now and then, or asks you what you're thinking, so he knows what to think.
Yeah.
Anyway, this is very sweet news, and I'm I'm I'm happy to hear it, Leslie.
Thank you very much.
Hey, thank you.
Have a great day.
You do the same.
All right.
I said earlier that we were not going to be distracted by all of this trumped up phony used for cheap political purposes, talk of Republicans inciting violence.
Obama government run health care has new regulations that will force businesses to pass costs to consumers and hire fewer workers.
This is from um Catherine Seeley, Kit Seeley.
Employer mandate becomes sticky issue in reconciling bills.
New York Times prescription blog, October 31st last year.
Those who are likely to be affected are those who work at smaller companies where coverage isn't as comprehensive and their employer doesn't subsidize much of the premium cost.
And for employers compelled by the mandate to add or enhance coverage, the higher costs might very likely be passed on to consumers by their products or service.
Of course they will.
This is what happens.
From the actual bill itself, H.R. 4872, Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, Congressional Democrats fixes to Obama's bill will nearly triple a tax applying it to seasonal employees.
This is the thing that the uh the Senate is working on have to send back to the House.
Applicable payment amount in subsection D, paragraph one, by striking $750 and inserting $2,000.
Full-time equivalents treated as full-time employees solely for purposes of determining whether an employer is an applicable large employer under this paragraph.
An employer shall, in addition to the number of full-time employees for any month otherwise determined, include for such month a number of full-time employees determined by dividing the aggregate number of hours of service of employees who are not full-time employees for the month by 120.
This is in the Democrats Fix.
It is tripling a tax applied to seasonal employees.
It is an utter disaster.
Hope Mills, North Carolina.
This is Nora.
Great to have you on Open Line Friday on Thursday.
Hello.
Hi, Rush.
Army Mom Ditto's to you.
Thank you.
Um the reason I'm calling is because as soon as I heard some of the the tapes of these so-called threatening phone messages.
Yeah.
My radar went up.
I've been calling Congress critters since 2006 with immigration reform.
And I can tell you for a fact that more often than not, you're not able to leave a message because you're gonna get uh an automated voice that says, sorry, voicemail is fault.
Please call later.
So uh it it really kind of got my ankles up.
I really don't know.
Gee, AstroTurf, I don't know.
Well, who is the uh they're they're they're playing a uh supposed call.
I can't remember to the member of Congress.
I think it's uh Congressman Stuck, and I will tell you that I have gotten that sorry mailbox full for Congressman Stupeck at least three times on Monday.
You know, this is an interesting point.
Um, but it's also possible.
It's also possible they could have cleaned the voicemail and left it wide open, hoping that some lunatic would call.
Yeah, but I'll tell you also, having been to tea parties, having been in Washington on the twelfth of September last year.
We are so polite that we wouldn't stoop to that level.
That's where I think the big mistake.
Wait just a second here, though.
Why why are we assuming that the only people that might be upset about this are Tea Party people?
There are more people in the country than just Tea Party people, and we know there are some Democrats that don't like this.
We know there are some pro-life Democrats who believed Supac when he stood up for his cause, his pro-life cause, and then betrayed everybody.
We know there are a lot of Democrats because they're in his district.
He they elect him.
Now who's to say why are we automatically assuming that whoever, if anybody, is calling Stupec that they're either a tea partier Or a Republican.
Quick time out.
Gotta go.
Back before you know it.
Sit tight.
Hey, good broadcast engineer has a thing for Casey and the Sunshine Band.
Um.
Or am I missing something?
No, I know I'm not is there a reason it's being played over and over again that I don't.
Yeah, a couple times.
Ooh, yeah.
Um anyway, that's how attentive I am.
They actually did it.
The Democrats rejected Colburn's amendment to ban Viagra for sex offenders, which means that in the health care bill, the fixed bill that Obama will next sign that sex offenders, rapists and pedophiles, will get taxpayer paid Viagra.
Max Baucus urged his colleagues to defeat the amendment.
He said this is a serious bill.
This is a serious debate.
The amendment offered by the Senator from Oklahoma makes a mockery of the Senate to debate in the American people.
It's not a serious amendment.
It's a crass political stunt aimed at making 30-second commercials, not and I can't wait for that commercial.
I can't wait for the Republican commercial at Democrats.
Support Viagra being given to pedophiles, rapists, and sex offenders.
Thank you.
Um I don't know that what it is going back to the House.
They did.
How would what stop what?
You're losing me.
Mm-hmm.
Right.
Uh well, I'm I'm I'm getting lost here.
Why would send me a note?
No, they support it.
They supported it.
The sex offenders are gonna get Viagra.
Thanks and Democrats.
The Democrats have just voted to make sure that sex offenders, rapists, murderers, and personators, and everybody gets Viagra.
Paid for by the taxpayers.
And and Baukas said, don't do this.
Reject this.
It's a trick to get a TV ed.
And the Democrats said, screw it, we like the idea.
We like the idea.
So I can't wait to see the commercial that the Republicans put together for this uh this false campaign.
Democrats in the hell in Obamacare voted for Viagra to be given to sex offenders, rapists, pedophiles, and you name it.
Savannah, Georgia Dwayne.
Welcome to the EIB network.
Hello, sir.
Hello, Rush.
Thank you for taking my call.
You bet.
Rush, I work uh at a hospital in Savannah.
I work with dozens of doctors.
I work with hundreds of nurses, and I've only talked to one person.
And I interact with a lot of these because I work in Pac U and I deliver patients throughout the hospital, the surgeons, uh, you know, uh just just everywhere.
Heard one person uh who's favorable of the health care bill.
And you know, she's was the kind of person I will have to admit that you know you feel like your IQ drops like twenty or thirty points just talking to anyway, but uh you know, nobody supports this thing.
So you're you're talking about the only person who supports it's got the IQ of a pencil eraser.
Roughly, roughly.
Yeah.
Uh well, my point, you know, I I'd like to see a lot more video tapes and a lot here, a lot less rumors of threats uh against the Democrats.
You know, I I just don't believe they have nothing to fear from the voters except uh at the ballot box in November.
I am I'm looking to fear.
That's exactly what I'm saying.
I am so looking forward to seeing Nancy Pelosi not be the Speaker of the House on a perpetual basis that I just you know I'm just Well, I tell you what, let's not get too excited here.
We still have to uh we still have to make sure the elections take place.
Well, Rush, and then we have to make sure that uh that we win them.
Well, I have I have an idea.
A propos I have a question or proposal.
Why can't some kind of alliance be forged between the Republican Party and the Tea Party movement?
I mean, I'm I'm thinking maybe a rebranding.
I, you know, I'm trying to, you know, find a way to to avoid a third party and the splintering of the Republican Party and maybe just a merger.
I mean, think about it, Rush.
In five years, five years, three election cycles, the country could be taken back.
There's got to be five hundred and thirty-five people in this country that's qualified to be in Congress with the idea, and maybe call it the Freedom Party, call it the Constitutional Party.
Something, uh maybe a rebranding if uh uh if if the people who don't um who are conservative but don't want to admit it to admit it because of, you know, the Tea Party connotations that some people have of Tea Party and Republicans maybe call it the Freedom Party, the Constitution Party or something.
Could this not be done?
Well, I don't think that'd be the way to go about it.
I think the I think the effort needs to be to remake the Republican Party led by conservatives, making a conservative party.
And renaming it is not is not going to accomplish anything.
The Republican Party, we've talked about this a lot.
There are Republicans in name only.
There are liberal Northeastern Republicans who want no part of the Tea Party.
They want no part of the confrontation.
They want no part of the fight.
You know, they've got theirs.
I hear people comparing these times to the revolution, the American Revolution, the founding.
A lot of things are different.
I mean, there is so much wealth in this country now compared to what it was then.
Uh, and even back then, only one third of the colonists supported it.
Two-thirds didn't.
One third was against, one third didn't care, and one third was all for it.
Uh, but you you you've got people now with a tremendous amount of wealth and security and power who don't want to rock the boat for themselves personally by taking on uh the opposition in such a way that would make them uh enemies.
It's but things are happening uh as as they are as they are wont to, and I I think all of these things are going to be falling in line.
The Tea Party is not really a quote unquote party.
Uh I think most of the members of the Tea Party are I see 72% of the polls as they're Republicans.
I think I did.
Anyway, uh you reminded me uh of uh when he was talking at the beginning of his call about you know, see some genuine video tapes, some of these incidents instead of stuff made up.
There has been a story all over the politico that somebody left a coffin on the front yard of Russ Carnahan's house in St. Louis, and it's a totally made-up fake story.
It's a political story, and they now have created uh corrected it.
Took them 12 hours to correct it.
Jim Hoftett at uh uh Gateway Pundit apparently was part of a group of St. Louis Tea Party members that held a prayer vigil at Carnahan's office for the millions of babies that'll be slaughtered under the Democrats' pro-abortion health care bill.
They also prayed for the handicapped and the elderly who will be turned away as they face the death panels, and as they stood outside Carnahan's office in the rain, they prayed for their country and for the Democrats in Washington who were stealing away freedom.
They brought a coffin with them to represent the millions of Americans who will suffer from inadequate treatment and perish under Obamacare.
Local reporters from KSDK News Channel 5 Eyeball News showed up to interview people.
They put together a report of the peaceful protest.
After the prayer service, the St. Louis Tea Party people took their coffin and they went and prayed on the sidewalk outside of Russ Carnahan's home.
We prayed for Russ Carnahan, they wrote.
We prayed that God would forgive him for taking away our freedom.
We prayed for the babies.
And they got pictures who will never feel the warmth of the sun or a gentle spring rain.
We prayed for the elderly who will die waiting for care because they couldn't make it past the Obama death panels.
So obviously it came as quite a shock to see that Carnahan people and the uh Democrat media complex had twisted this innocent prayer vigil to some kind of threat against Carnahan.
It's a complete lie.
A total complete lie.
And I got a couple of audio sound bites from uh Carnahan's office, Carnahan spokesman indicating now that the whole thing was made up and uh that the politico took twelve hours, but they finally corrected the story.
Nobody was threatening Carnahan by leaving a coffin on his front yard.
They prayed for him.
We'll be back.
Sit tight.
It's a fastest three hours in media.
All right, Tom Colbert.
Anyone else out there at the Republican campaign committee?
Maybe I'll even include The RNC.
Anybody out there that makes commercials for Republican campaigns.
Here's a slogan for you.
After we've learned that Democrats have approved giving Viagra to sex offenders and rapists and so forth, Democrats support taxpayers supporting hardened criminals.
