Hey, welcome back.
Greetings to you, music lovers, thrill seekers, and conversationalists all across the fruited plane.
Rush Limbaugh behind a golden EIB microphone here at the Limboy Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies telephone number if you want to be on the program is 800-282-2882, the email address Lrushbow at EIBNet.com.
Okay, so I made my uh comment last hour that uh conservative political action conference ends up with a straw poll vote saying that Ron Paul is the nominee of the party for president.
I says something's gone haywire there that that that's not a conservative conference.
Um it just people said, Well, what would you have said if you were there?
What would you have said?
Folks, that's hard to know because I don't know what I would have said.
I didn't know what I was going to say last year till I was driving into town from the airport.
I never plan these things.
That's why I don't like them, because I'm afraid what if I don't come up with something to talk about?
You know, what if I'm five minutes away and I still don't know what I'm gonna say, I mean, that's sheer panic, because I cannot write a speech.
I just can't.
My brain stops working when I write.
But since people have asked me, I have given it some thought.
And I would have used CPAC uh this year for the incredible opportunity it was.
In just one year.
Last year I spoke there and I said, I hope he fails.
And I explained what that meant, and everybody knew and everybody agreed.
And I said, Don't be afraid to join me in hoping he fails because we're trying to save the country.
I took some time to explain during my first televised address to the nation who we conservatives are, how we have been maligned, what our wishes and desires are for the American people.
We want everybody to succeed.
We want everybody's pursuit of happiness to have fruition, all of these things.
One year later, the Democrat Party is on the run.
One year later, the ship of the Democrat Party is about to run aground and the rats are jumping off of it.
One year later, the Republicans win the Ted Kennedy seat.
In less than a year, the Republicans won governorships in New Jersey and in Virginia.
Uh this would have been, in my estimation, an occasion to keep building these people up, to keep inspiring them.
People who are making this happen because the people who are making it happen are us, all of you, the average ordinary people doing extraordinary things, finally refusing to put up with this.
You have taken the lead.
And I would have simply urged you to keep going and do it with a big smile on your face because we can win this and we can stop this.
You know, I always try to give uplifting speeches, inspirational, uplifting, positive.
Tell people they're capable of more than they think they are, praise them when they deserve it.
Uh there this is a huge, huge ongoing effort to take back the country.
Nobody thought we stood a chance a year ago.
Less than a year or in a year.
We're having more success than anybody a year ago dreamed.
We thought by this time we'd have a health care bill, we would have socialized cap and trade, we would have all of this.
We don't have any of it yet.
They can't get anything done amongst themselves.
The Republicans, whatever you think of them, up until middle January did not have the votes anywhere to stop anything.
It was the American people that stopped them.
It was the American people that gave elected Republicans the confidence to go in there and oppose this and not walk across the aisle, join John McCain, and be bipartisan with these people.
It was the American people who gave elected Republicans a backbone.
The era of McCain is over, or it was.
I still think it is, and I seriously hope so.
I would have acknowledged the people in the Republican Party who are fighting from within to take it back.
I would have mentioned names.
I certainly would have mentioned Obama a lot, and I would have mentioned Harry Potter.
Reid.
And I would have mentioned Pelosi, and I would have mentioned the Kennedy seat being won.
And I would mention the trouble that Barbara Boxer's in, and I would mention the trouble that the Democrat Party in general is in.
And I would say that the Republicans have not joined the Democrats in any of this destruction.
The Republican Party has, and because of you, because you you let them hear from you.
They have not gone bipartisan.
They have not joined this failure.
And in fact, there are people in the House from John Boehner to Mike Pence to Eric Cantor to Paul Ryan, who are doing everything that Jim Dement over in the Senate, Tom Colburn over in the Senate.
These people, they especially now don't deserve to be bashed or lumped in in a generalized way, uh, with all the bad apples in Washington, because all of them there are not bad apples.
These people really, I think, deserve some antiboys.
I mean, I I happen to think that, you know, these guys that I've just named, uh, they're really, really, really going against instinctive grain, operating the way they are and why it's so much easier for you if you just go along.
Your life is so much more enjoyable there.
If you just go along, the media will like you, the Democrats will pretend they like you.
These guys are resisting all of that.
And I'm gonna call them out.
And I would have identified by name those who are undermining this country.
And I would have held them to account for the radical policies that they are seeking to impose upon us.
And I would have identified the source of those radical policies, and that's Barack Obama and Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and whoever else you want to name on the White House staff or in the Democrat Party, or any union head, because that's who we're up against.
I it I just it's it's it's um it was just I thought a great opportunity to keep the momentum going rather than put the brakes on.
I uh I would have tried making people laugh.
I'm pretty good at that sometimes, because I would have been having fun.
I know I'd have been having fun, and I'd have fed off the audience energy, and who knows what else I would have come up with.
I mean, I didn't know what I was going to say last year till I got up there and started speaking.
I never know what I'm gonna say.
I was sometimes I go out with five or six little outlines, but other than that, uh I don't know.
But I certainly, this is a conservative political action committee, it's not some group of libertarians.
I would have defended conservatism and I would have promoted conservatism, and I would have reminded people conservatism is the solution.
Conservatism is the answer for this country's problems and challenges that we face.
Uh you know, I'm I this is nobody's out there defending uh bad Republican policies.
The point at this stage is to support the conservatives in and outside public office.
And I I would I certainly would not have ignored the other team on the field.
The Democrats.
They're the only reason we're in this mess.
The Democrat Party is the only reason we are threatened with the things we're threatened.
The Democrat Party, solely they own it.
Um I don't there's no evidence I see of anybody colluding with the Democrats on his health care business.
Not one Republican vote in the Senate for it.
Uh in the House, there was one, I think, from the guy in uh Louisiana, and he said he's not going to do it a second time.
Uh I would have had it I I would have had a um real tough time not talking about cap and trade, Card check, Miranda rights for terrorists, tax increases breaking the bank of the American private sector.
Um it would have been very difficult for me to be critical of Dick Cheney.
But to each his own, well, that's they're there and I have motivations for people who do what they do.
And I, as a highly trained broadcast specialist, and I think I know what's going on and why various people are doing what they're doing and taking positions that they're taking.
But I just that the best way to ensure that Obama succeeds is to think we need a third party.
That that will just all the momentum that we've got going right now is just going to hit a uh a brick wall if uh if third party starts particularly uh on the basis that there's no difference.
Two parties, I guarantee you there's not a Republican I know, elected or unelected, that would propose anything Obama has.
They haven't joined him.
We are at this great crossroads in our history because of people who hold a particular ideological point of view.
I don't care what you want to call them.
I call them liberals because that's what they hate and that's what they are.
And that's what the American people reject.
And I don't like the liberals getting away with changing their titles or how they reference themselves or how they want us to reference them.
The media will go along with that, but to me they're liberals with capital L's.
And it is essentially a four-letter word in politics, and they know it.
It's the word liberal is like showing Dracula, the cross.
And there are many things that equate to that with liberals.
It's a bunch of things you can say about them, do to them that make them react like Dracula at the site of a cross.
But the radical policies, and there's no other way to describe them, but pure radical the radical policies that are that they are trying to impose on us need to be called out, and as as many people I I would I would figure, again, that people beyond being conservative would be watching this speech if I were like like was the case last year.
That's why I jokingly called it my first national address to the nation on TV.
Because there are people probably never listened to me on the radio watching it, channel surfing.
You never know how many, but it was a significant number, I'm sure.
So I don't know.
I I um I I will have left no doubt that I had just spoken at a gathering of conservatives.
Quick timeout.
We'll be back after this.
Don't go away.
Ha!
Welcome back.
L. Rush Ball at the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.
It has been suggested to me, ladies and gentlemen, that uh we go back and play some excerpts of my CPAC speech from last year to uh to to illustrate just where we've come from.
I mean, w it was one year ago, almost a little over a year ago, and the contrast of where we thought we all were.
You were listening to doom and gloom a year ago.
We had Newt Gingrich talking, we can't criticize the president.
We've got to work with him, we've got to hope this new pre oh, every Republican in the world out there was doing this.
And I thought this is the end of the country if this happens.
These people do not realize we're dealing with a radical.
This is not the normal ebb and flow of political parties changing power, trading power.
We get the White House trade years, you get it for the next eight.
This is not that.
This is a bunch of 60s radicals grown up and with their with their representative here, Barack Obama, with a chance to finally get a stranglehold on this country and fix it because of the things that they uh don't like.
So we'll do that.
Cookie will uh dig them out of the archives uh out there.
Steve in Lafayette, Louisiana, as we go back to the phones.
It's great to have you here.
Hello, sir.
Oh, what an honor.
Well, uh I love this show, Rush.
Uh you got a uh business analyst for the insurance company whose sole purpose is to maximize profit for the insurance, telling us how to run health care.
I love it.
Well, that's I'm I'm glad you I'm glad you saw it that way.
I I uh I called I finally agree with you.
I mean, it's been a long time since I've agreed with you.
It's ten years.
And I agree the Republicans should not show up to the uh health care conference.
Absolutely not.
Oh, really?
Yes, because share with me your wisdom in arriving at this conclusion.
Well, They they have no ideas to present there.
They will embarrass themselves absolutely against.
The only thing they have is the Rush Limbaugh cash payment plan for health care.
And they also have medical savings plan, which a family of form is thirty five thousand years.
Here we go.
Never save enough money surgery.
Steve.
Um nice try, uh, my man, but you you just you just crossed the line out there.
Uh I all I do when I pay for my own health care is accept personal responsibility for it and not assume that you are going to pay for it for me.
All I do is not be a burden to my fellow citizens, and you have just told me that's not an idea.
You it is by the way, the Republicans will never propose that.
They don't have the guts that I have.
But they would never propose that, and they haven't proposed that.
What we're trying to do is reduce costs, Steve.
Obama's plan doesn't do it's it's it's just it's sad because you're smart enough to make you know smart allergy jokes.
You ought to be smart enough to figure out that you are unwittingly participating in the destruction of this country by supporting this stuff.
But the day when you when we arrive at the point where somebody taking care of him or herself when not being a burden on anybody else is not good or is out of touch or is a problem, then we really do have a problem.
And I fear that we're there, Steve.
I fear that we are there.
Um, but we're not going to give up.
I still am going to continue to work on trying to persuade people like you, and trust me, uh despite Obama's efforts here, I'm not quitting until everybody agrees with me, and that includes you.
Ken in Detroit, welcome to the EIB network.
Hello.
Yeah, Rush.
I think it's important that we take a look at uh uh what is the true motive behind uh Barack Obama and his f uh as well as his fellow democrats for promoting this uh national health care program, a program that the overwhelming majority of the American people have rejected, a program that will not save money, a program that will not provide uh better access to treatment.
I think it's uh very program that is not designed to do any of that, by the way, either.
I know.
And I think what uh we should look at is that the true motive is to hand over more power, more control over the lives of the American people to the federal government.
That is exactly what they want.
That's why they don't care.
They know that come election day that uh politically there will be a massacre when it comes to uh the votes against anyone that supports this bill.
But since it accomplishes their goal of continuing to hand over more power to the federal government, more control, like I said, of the of the American people's lives to the federal government.
That's why Barack Obama will continue uh to promote this health care bill.
Yeah, well, there's you're right.
There are a lot of other reasons why they're doing this, and they don't care that the vast majority of American people don't want it.
They don't care.
Uh they have been governing against the will of the American people since they were elected.
Well, Rush, one thing I see is that they're transforming uh and they will continue to do so unless we resist them.
Uh currently we have a country made up of citizens, uh citizens protected by the Constitution, a country of individuals.
They are trying to transform us into a country of servants, uh country of subjects, uh to transform us into a country similar to Cuba.
And the American people need to wake up.
Uh now wait, I knew I knew you were gonna go there, Ken, and that that this is a I would I would not have said that had I been at CPAC just to revisit this.
The American people have awakened.
The American people is why they're stuck in the mud and the mire and everything else that's got 'em dead in the water.
The American people are the people who are stopped.
The American people want no part of this, and the American people will not put up with it.
I don't care what Obama does.
I don't care if the Democrats change their rules or break their rules to get this thing passed.
The tipping point is coming, and the American people will just say, sorry, we're not Participating.
You can put us in jail.
You can come get us.
We're not doing this.
These are the American people we are talking about.
We now know the American people have not been transformed to a Western European socialist type behavior or attitude.
We know that the vast majority of Americans are still Americans as this nation defines Americans as this nation was founded.
The American people aren't going to put up with it.
No matter what these people do, no matter what Obama does, the American people are awake.
The American people are more awake now than I have ever seen them.
More awake than they were back in 1994, more awake than they were back in the late 80s during the House Bank and the House Post Office.
And every time Obama keeps coming back with this, and every time Harry Reed goes on television or Pelosi and they talk about changing the rules.
And every time they keep telling lies about this, that it's not going to add to the deficit, that it's not going to add to the debt, that is going to lower health care costs, that it's not going to raise anybody's taxes except the rich, that it's gonna get everybody covered.
Everybody knows none of that is true.
And they're not gonna be they're not gonna be patient and put up with being lied to again and again and again.
If Mr. Obama hasn't noticed his approval numbers are in a free fall.
He doesn't care.
Because you're right.
They want to ram this thing through, and they think that when they do, they will have uh put enough roadblocks in our way of freedom that we won't be able to stop it.
But don't forget this doesn't get implemented till 2014.
The tax increases will go into effect immediately if if this happens.
But uh the American people are not gonna sit idly by.
They're not being fooled by a guy who says I'm laser like focusing on jobs.
I gotta have a commission to study why we're in so much debt.
This guy is no longer fooling anybody.
Everyone's a winner, hot chocolate and the bumper rotation today, Rush Limbaugh and the EIB network talent on loan from God.
Um folks, I'm telling you, they're not living in reality.
Baghdad Bob Gibbs, the president's press secretary, and by the, there's a there's a piece.
Where did I read this?
I got so many things here.
There's a piece that says that uh Baghdad Bob, Robert Gibbs, and Valerie Jarrett do believe that Obama is messianic.
These are the people, the problem that it's not Rom, it's that Rom's saving Obama.
That's the uh the rest of the story.
Rom is saving Obama.
It's Valerie Jarrett and it's Gibbs guy who think he is the Messiah, a transformational figure, and they just basically bowing down as though he's the Dalai Lama going out the back door next to the garbage.
Well, I guess they don't bow down to the Dalai Lama going out door next to the garbage.
Well, here's what Gibbs said.
It means people are not living in reality.
We've seen in survey after survey that Americans want to see Republicans and Democrats stand together on health care.
There is no such survey.
There is no such survey whatsoever, ladies and gentlemen.
Last week, and maybe it was the week before, I noted that the mayor of Washington, D.C. sitting there with 25% of his snow plows out of service, basically telling citizens if you want your street clean, you're gonna have to go out and do it yourself.
Despite all the taxes they pay there, despite all the public services they are supposed to get for their taxes, they still have to go out there and clean their own street, not the sidewalks, folks, the streets in some parts of town.
The DC mayor telling people to shovel their own streets, meaning the government cannot handle it.
Yet, less than 10 days later, they tell them the government will deal with their health care, and they tell me that I'm crazy for not trusting the government to take care of it.
I'm gonna do it on my own for myself.
I'm the one crazy.
Same thing with what school bus Nagan told them after Katrina.
Next time you're on your own, don't wait for government.
Remember that when the school buses didn't give.
He said, next time you're on your own, don't wait for us.
Well, why in the hell don't somebody shout from the rooftops?
Don't wait for us on health care.
There's no evidence that they can do it because there's no evidence any government program of any significant size whatsoever, health care related or not, has done what its objective stated it was.
They're big time failures.
And the American people know this.
They do not want to invest, though.
There's no majority support for this.
Zilch Zero Nada.
I don't know what's going to happen now with this Thursday bipartisan televised summit up at Blair House.
But I think what the Republicans ought to do.
No, no, I wouldn't.
Snerdley, you were right.
I probably at CPEC.
No, I would not have, and by the way, we do have some soundbites coming up from CPAC.
Just a second here.
I would not have said that the only people who can stop Obama, the Republicans, should be excoriated for being just as bad.
I don't know how you can say, after hearing Marco Rubio that the Republicans are just as bad as the Democrats.
It would never occur to me to say that.
I don't know what the objective would be.
Here's what the Republicans ought to do.
With every position advocated by Obama, Republicans ought to counter with a poll.
To show that a majority disapproves it.
With every position Republicans advocate, attach a poll to that too.
Everyone they advocate put a poll behind it.
Republicans own the issues on health care.
Republicans own the position of no on health care.
The American look at the polls.
Eighty percent are sick and tired of a liberal-oriented Congress.
Over 60% don't want health care.
What's the risk in standing with the American people?
In a representative republic.
Where's the risk?
There is none.
The Republicans own the issue.
They have not joined Obama.
They have don't have their fingerprints anywhere near this disaster.
And now's not the time to get their fingerprints on there.
The Republicans are who's standing with the American people here.
The American people are saying no, and it's the Republicans who are standing with them.
And everybody needs to know that.
You can say we're the party of no, because the American people have said no to your position.
We are aligned with the American people, Mr. President.
And then provide the poll that supports that.
They're out there.
One by one, lay out what the Republican plan is on that issue and show the American people saying yes to that with a poll.
Republicans have polls in their favor, but they got to use them as a blunt instrument the same way the media of the Democrats use their polls.
Look at the Republic, the people, the people have said no to Obama's proposals, his taxes, his fines.
They have said yes to free markets, capping trial attorneys, tort reform, insurance sales across state lines.
Don't position this as what the Republicans are saying.
You position this as what the American people are saying.
You position your opposition to Obama on the basis, hey, this is what the American people are telling us.
In poll after poll after poll, Mr. President, they don't want any of these things.
They don't want lies.
They don't want more expensive health care.
They don't want to have to go to jail if they don't have a policy.
Don't position this as what Republicans are saying.
Position everything is what the American people want, what they have rejected as well.
If I ran a Republican Party, which I don't, except in the White House they think I do.
If I ran a Republican Party, I would position this as the American people versus Obama.
And the Republicans are simply representing the majority.
Because this is the American people versus Obama.
It is not the American people versus the Republicans and Democrats.
This is the American people on this issue of cap and trade and everything else in his agenda.
This is the American people against Obama.
American people against Harry Reid.
American people against Kennedy Democrats in Massachusetts.
This is the American people against this president.
And the Republican Party just going to move in there and be their leaders.
Beat that like a drum.
Reconciliation.
Keep talking about reconciliation.
51 votes instead of 60 in the Senate.
All right.
Obama said that jobs was his number one focus.
Yet today he opens up with more relentless attacks on the health insurance industry.
Reconcile that.
Reconcile that.
Obama said the country was out of money and we had to rein in spending.
Then he proposes a one trillion dollar health care bill four days after appointing a commission to tell him how to get out of debt.
Reconcile that.
Obama said if his $1 trillion slush fund bill was passed, that unemployment would never exceed 8%.
He said he would create three and a half million jobs, 90% in the private sector.
Uh uh uh uh reconcile that.
Obama said he didn't want to run a car companies.
So what did he do?
He bought two of them.
Reconcile that.
Obama said the force of his personality and his engagement in engaging Iran in a new way, without preconditions, was the key to ending Iran's nuclear ambitions.
Since that time, Iran has increased its efforts and is on the verge of becoming a nuclear state, and even Dumkoff, UN now admits, reconciled that.
Obama says the planet is getting warmer.
When Dr. Phil Jones, one of the leading voices of the global warming scams, says there hasn't been any in 15 years.
Obama said his election meant we now begin the process of lowering the rise of the sea levels.
We have since learned that the data that said the sea level rise was going to rise is uh factually incorrect.
It's not gonna happen, they don't know.
Reconcile that.
President Obama said that President Bush is responsible for deficit spending, but under President Obama's own budgets, Obama will triple the national debt just after he leaves office.
reconcile that.
I have analyzed Barack Obama long before I ever knew him.
Because I have analyzed liberals.
And Marxists, socialists, and radicals.
I know these people.
Since addiction is a big thing to be discussing lately, Obama has an addiction.
Obama's addiction is lying.
Obama's addiction is power.
He's a control freak who doesn't trust people.
He also has no concept of reality.
He doesn't even have a toe in reality, much less a foot.
He trusts central planners who fail, he trusts union thugs.
His greed for power knows no limits.
And there's simply no way, my friends, to reconcile a charismatic demagogue, socialist, Marxist, whatever, with freedom and liberty.
The two simply cannot be melded.
They cannot be reconciled.
Barack Obama and freedom don't mix any better than oil and water with some things, some people, there just cannot be any reconciliation.
Yeah, it was Snerdley's idea.
Go back and play some excerpts of your CPAC speech from last year, because it really as you listen to these, we've got four of them here.
And if you as you listen to these, stop and think where we were a year ago.
We were in the middle of 80% approval numbers.
Everybody in love.
Uh Republicans everywhere say we gotta work with this guy.
We can't have, oh no, it's a bad thing to say.
If we we uh this is a new day and a minute, blah, blah, blah.
All of this stuff.
I mean, it was you talk about hopeless.
Everybody felt hopeless a year.
Look how far we've come.
So this is February 28th, quite not quite a year ago.
February 28th at uh the 2009 Conservative Political Action Conference.
We want every American to be the best.
He or she chooses to be.
We recognize that we are all individuals.
We love and revere our founding documents, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
We believe that the preamble of the Constitution contains an inarguable truth, That we are all endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, among them life.
Liberty, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness.
Now those of you watching at home may wonder why this is being applauded.
We conservatives think all three are under assault.
Oh, damn it.
She edited out the applause.
I wanted to hear that.
I'm kidding.
It never ended.
Here's the next bite.
President Obama is so busy trying to foment and create anger in a created atmosphere of crisis.
He is so busy fueling the emotions of class envy that he is forgotten it's not his money he's spending.
In fact, the money he's spending is not ours.
He is spending wealth that has yet to be created.
And that is not sustainable.
It will not work.
This has been tried around the world.
And every time it's been tried, it's a failed disaster.
Yay!
Right now, Ronnie.
She didn't have any applause after that.
And you know, some ladies and gentlemen, don't forget that it was Geraldo Rivera Haraldo on Saturday night who said that I was a year ahead of the curve for the speech, talking about failure and how it was necessary.
Here's the next bite.
Future is not big government, self-serving politicians, powerful bureaucrats.
This has been tried, tested throughout history.
The result has always been disaster.
President Obama, your agenda's not new, it's not change, and it's not hope.
Spending a nation into generational debt is not an act of compassion.
All politicians, including President Obama, are temporary stewards of this nation.
It is not their task to remake the founding of this country.
It is not their task to tear it apart and rebuild it in their image.
Thank you.
And there's where I explained again and did again and again and again, Ed infinitum, uh my hope that Obama would fail.
This notion that I want the president to fail, folks, this shows you a sign of the problem we've got.
That's nothing more than common sense and to not be able to say it.
Why in the world do I want what we just described rampant government growth, indebtedness, wealth that is not even being created yet is being spent.
What is in this?
What possibly is in this that any of us want to succeed?
Ladies and gentlemen, the United States, the Democrat Party has actively not just sought the failure of Republican presidents and policies, and now wars for the first time.
The Democrat Party doesn't stop at failure.
Talk to Judge Robert Bork, talk to Justice Clarence Thomas about how they try to destroy lives, reputations, and character.
And I'm supposed to say I don't want the president to fail.
That's how CPAC ended last year, and uh that's just four short bites.
This thing went on for I was supposed to go a half hour.
I and uh I started at five.
Uh uh supposed to go a half hour.
When I got to 5:30, David Keene said, could you kind of keep going?
Okay, so I'll just make it up on the fly here.
But it wasn't hard because you know, we conservatives don't need prompts.
Um it's in our heart.
It's in our hearts and our minds.
We've refined it over years and years and years of uh of our lives.
When you have, when you're speaking before an electrified audience like that, that's also inspiring.
The audience feeds off the uh speaker and uh and and verse visa.
So that's just a uh we're doing this because it was just one year ago, not even one year ago, and I want people to remember just where we were, and what the outlook was a year ago.
This man looked unstoppable.
He had he had this, he had the Senate.
We're just waiting for Franken to be uh stolen.
Well, that election be stolen by the Franken people and give them their 60 votes.
They had the House by an overwhelming majority.
The Republicans were entirely dispirited, and they were afraid to say anything.
That was remotely critical of Obama or the Democrat Party because they thought there was such love for Obama and the Democrat Party on behalf of the American people or by the American people.
They were afraid.
I mean, it was hunkered down, and folks were believing that America, as we knew it, was over.
And this the CPAC conference last year is really what that's the kick in the seat that got everything else going.
And from that, the Tea Parties, I don't mean me, I mean the whole conference, the whole three or four days.
Town halls popped up.
The American people stopped the Obama agenda, and they will continue to.
And they need to be praised and encouraged, motivated and inspired to keep it up.
There is one year later, one year after the inauguration of Barack Obama, there is an ascendancy, a conservative ascendancy within the Republican Party.
And it needs to be encouraged, not beaten down.
It needs to be inspired.
We need to thank them and join them.
