Welcome to today's edition of The Rush 24-7 Podcast.
Yes, greetings to you, music lovers, drill seekers, and conversationalists all across the fruited plain.
Once again, I, L. Rushbow, snookered into working on President's Day for like the 21st year.
Hell, not 21st, 24th.
I know I've worked every President's Day in Sacramento, too.
Well, I didn't get snookered this year.
I knew it was coming up, but I but this is the first year I didn't get snookered into it.
Everybody else is gone, and we're always here.
Uh kids are out of school, uh, and of course, we don't have money to send them to school anyway.
U.S. schools face severe budget holes.
This is from a heartbroken associated press.
We'll have the details on that.
Lots of stuff.
Evan Bai has said no moss, no moss.
And Snerdley can, by the way, here's the phone number, folks, if you want to be on the program today, uh, 800-282-2882, and the uh email address, El Rushbo at EIBNet.com.
So Snerdley comes in here breathlessly, says to me, Boy, it must be worse than we knew.
It must be worse than us.
So what are you talking about?
Evan Bai.
Maybe.
I mean, I'm sure it's pretty bad out there, but don't forget, this guy wants to run for president.
And maybe in 2012, if things don't improve from the BAMster.
And this guy, if he has any hopes, has got to get out of the Senate.
He is a straight down-the-line vote for every Obama idea so far, and he doesn't have a prayer of being elected to anything if that's the case.
So I think really it's a it's a it's a prelude to a potential presidential run uh as well.
I'm sure that the internal polling for the Democrats is bad all over the country, particularly in a state like Indiana.
But I think he's also got to get himself out of this circumstance where he's just seen as an Obama puppet uh or robot.
He's got to distance himself somehow from Obama because that's where the negatives are.
And that's what uh that that's what is the dirty little secret out there.
Uh so that's it.
But here's the thing.
He's the fifth Democrat to retire this year, and in this case, they got four days to find a replacement for him in uh in Indiana, and Peyton Manning is not interested.
So, and I don't even know if Peyton's a Democrat.
I I I really have no clue.
I've talked to him in a golf course a couple times, but I don't I have no clue.
So, anyway, um it'll be interesting to watch this.
It says here, this is uh the Washington Post, Chris Siliza, that by his retirement is a blow for Senate Democrats by his universal name recognition and popularity, not to mention his massive campaign war chest made him a favorite in the fall, despite the Republican tilt of the state and the increased focus of National Republican strategists on that race.
Without by Democrats may look to their congressional delegation where representatives Baron Hill, Brad Ellsworth, and Joe Donnelly are likely to take a look at running.
Now, it's not clear whether the Republican field is going to grow.
This Dan Coates is in there.
Uh Pence considered it.
Mike Pence, but he he bombed out a backed out because he wants to stay and take over the Republican leadership of the House and steer that.
A move, by the way, uh I think is great.
As I say, by the fifth Democrat Senator not seeking re-election.
Uh he joins Chris, special favors on mortgages and the subprime mortgage architect disaster Dodd.
Byron Helmut Head Dorgan of North Dakota, which was a stunner, shocked everybody.
Uh Ted Kaufman from Delaware.
Have you ever heard of Ted Kaufman?
Most people probably haven't.
Uh uh Biden's replacement.
And by the way, uh Bo Biden said he doesn't want the gig either.
Uh and Roland Burris, uh, who nobody wanted in the Senate from Illinois, uh, is uh is on the sidelines.
There's six Republicans are not running.
Kit Bond, George Lemieux of Florida, Judd Gregg in New Hampshire, George Voinevitch, Ohio, Sam Brownbeck of Kansas, Jim Munningham, Kentucky.
Uh still uh looking looking better for our side.
We have um so you were talking about it the other day on this program, the end of Camelknot.
Camelnut, Camelnut.
And we had a caller talk about, you know, it's the strangest thing for the uh Kennedy family to start tagging themselves Camelot Camelot ended up being a disaster.
So we decided to have a little fun, put together a little skit on Camelnut.
I haven't heard it yet.
Didn't get it in time to hear it, nor has anybody.
So we're gonna listen to you realize what a what a risk this is, folks.
I mean, they would never do this at any other radio or television program.
Put something out there that nobody has heard.
But we're gonna do it, because we're flying without a net here.
Well, it's it's almost a semi-holiday.
It's I mean, it's sort of like a an open line Friday type attitude here.
More people could be listening.
I'm sure more people are listening.
So let's roll with it.
Here it is.
Camel knot.
Camel Knot.
Uh production of um uh white comedian Paul Shanklin and Johnny Donovan snowed in at home on President's Day.
Did that from his uh home recording studio, which in his bathroom.
It's the EIB network.
And L. Rushbow.
Again, the telephone number is 800 28282.
All right, Washington Post today, the Marines move on Marja.
This is a big, big surge deep inside uh the home field of the Taliban, essentially.
Uh the Armed Forces Radio Network carries the first hour of this program.
And uh I just want to acknowledge these people in the U.S. military part of this search today.
It had it has begun in Afghanistan.
And I just I would be remiss if I did not point this out.
The people, those of you wearing the uniform in the U.S. military today, the people who doubted you the first time are the same people who are sending you on this one.
The same people who doubted you in Iraq, the same people who said your mission had no chance, the same people who were arguing for failure, who were arguing for defeat in Iraq for their own political benefit, have now seen the light, quote unquote.
And of course, when they send you, it's justifiable and fine.
This uh this audience in this program is and will always be behind you.
As you mount this surge, go get them.
We love you here at the EIB network and never ever doubt that you are the best trained and executing fighting force in the entire world.
Back after this with much more.
And uh Snerdley, let's let's kind of do an open line Friday on Monday today, since it's a lighthearted holiday type day, even though we're here.
Uh, that means that you have a better than average shot of being able to say whatever you want to say.
Monday through Thursday normally doesn't work that way.
You have to talk about things I care about, but we'll kind of wave it a little bit today and let you be the architect of the content of the program when we go to the phones.
Okay, back on the diet full speed ahead today, folks.
Another 30 pounds are gonna come off.
Uh eighty-five I lost last year, actually from uh the beginning of March.
March 9th, I think it was to uh the end of July, sometime in August.
And I put five pounds back on.
It's the first time I have put so little weight back on after losing.
So I'm back full flip.
And that that, yeah, as you women know could just be water weight uh for crying out loud.
Uh five pounds insignificant, so um but back on at 25 or 30 to get under 200 pounds now.
Uh gearing up for uh golf the summertime and so it is cold where we are.
It's cold everywhere.
I'm we we don't went over to the Bahamas to flee the cold weather, and it followed us.
It was cold over there, it was in the 50s at night, barely hit, it did not even get to 70 degrees.
Oh, it was just a bummer.
Anyway, we're back here, full week of broadcast excellence.
Did you hear that did you hear this?
May well be the most absurd news item of the month.
You remember Henry Lewis Gates, Skip Gates?
A Harvard professor, sorry, Harvard Professor Henry Lewis Gates Jr., the White House beer party guy.
We have just learned that he has uh either honored or humiliated the Smithsonian institution.
He has donated the handcuffs that he was cuffed with to the Smithsonian's new National Museum of African American history and culture.
Now, some people are gonna ask if if handcuffs fall into the category of African American history or African American culture.
But I has anybody gotten who gets to keep the handcuffs that they were cuffed with?
How did he go about getting the handcuffs?
What suspect is ever given his cuffs?
As a souvenir.
Have you ever heard of that, Snerdley?
You ever been cuffed?
Well, I uh he says not by law enforcement.
Well, I haven't either, but I didn't know that if he got cuffed, you got to keep the cuffs.
What else did he get?
If he got to keep the cuffs, what did he do?
Did he get to keep the beer?
Did he keep the glass he drank the beer with at the White House?
We can't even have a transparent beer party.
It has to show up now as a Smithsonian exhibit.
Professor Gates, Henry Lewis Gates.
Get this.
White House officials are retooling the administration's communications strategy to produce faster responses to political adversaries, a more disciplined focus on President Obama's call for change in Washington, and an increasingly selective use of the president's time.
The messaging adjustments are the result of an end-of-the-year analysis in which White House advisors said the president's communications team had not taken the initiative often enough and had allowed drawn-out debates in Congress and relentless criticism by Republicans to drown out his message.
Now wait just a second.
Recall, ladies and gentlemen, as you hear me explain this news strategic.
The White House owns the press.
They own Congress.
The Democrats own the White House.
They won a majority of voters, unlike Clinton.
They had tremendous approval numbers, and now all of a sudden it comes down that they're not getting their message out correctly.
They are fooling themselves up there.
They're lying to themselves.
The message has gotten out plain as day.
This is the one service that we have performed admirably, among many others here at the EIB network.
Their message has gotten out loud and clear, clear as a bell.
And I mean, we repeat the message over and over and over again.
What they've screwed up on is they have failed to do what Clinton did, and that's disguise and mask what they were trying to do.
These people got so cocky and so full of themselves with their majority, and the uh the idea that Obama was loved and adored not by the country but the whole world that they could finally open up okay.
Here's what we're gonna do, this is what we're about, this is how we're gonna make you dependent on us, this is how we're gonna destroy the private sector, this is how to make sure that you only can go to government to get a job down the road.
Uh most of what you get's gonna be from the government down the road, even your car and your banking and your student won't.
Oh no, the message got out plain as day.
I love this.
It was clear that too often we didn't have the ball.
Congress had the ball in terms of driving the message.
Bam gave him the ball.
Obama gave Congress the ball.
He didn't come up with his own legislation.
Theirs was the only legislation to be talked about.
Anyway, the story goes on and on and on.
White House aides described the changes as an aggressive response aimed at producing fresh momentum for the president's faltering agenda and regaining the advantage ahead of the congressional midterm elections in November.
Bring it on.
This is crazy, and a companion story here from the state-controlled associated press thrust into office on the veracity of hope.
President Obama is trying to get himself on the right side of a remarkably different national sentiment these days.
Anger.
Obama's expansive domestic goals are largely the same, but his message is changing.
Now constructed around a concession, the public is disillusioned and wanting results.
If he can't show people he understands their frustration and is working to fix it, the risks are real.
So a second story here say anger replaces hope, but it's only because the message hasn't gotten out properly.
And uh listen, listen, that later in the story it says uh a new Washington Post ABC news poll finds two-thirds of the people are either dissatisfied by the way the federal government is working or outright angry about it.
And that's a problem Obama now owns.
It is his policies that are causing this anger.
We go to the audio soundbites on Morning Joe today on Mess NBC.
Scarborough talking to Sam Stein of the Huffing and Puffington Post.
Uh, Scarborough says, would it be damaging to his base to bring in Dick Cheney?
Um, talking about Obama, bring in Cheney, talk to him a little bit about some of this stuff.
During the height of the health Care debate.
I was brought in with a bunch of other reporters to talk to some White House officials, and this is when Rush Limbaugh was making all these charges about death panels.
And one of the questions that came up was why not talk to Rush Limbaugh and see if you can persuade him that this is just a crazy charge that has no merit.
And they said, uh, we're not going to do that because it would really be problematic for anyone else on uh on the left of the spectrum to see us talking with Rush Limbaugh.
I think the whole thing continues with Cheney, too.
I think eventually they're going to try more diplomacy when it comes to the Cheney mindset, but for now I think uh they're not going to invite him in for coffee or tea.
Oh, man, oh man, oh man.
I don't believe they were actually ever considering that.
They wouldn't ever bring me in.
They knew they couldn't talk me out of the death panels because the death panels were in the bill.
They couldn't talk me out of what I was saying because what I was saying about his health care plan was correct, and he didn't have one.
He didn't have a plan.
By the way, do you know what?
In advance of this meeting on February 25th, which I'm told now uh Mitch McConnell's gonna take some of his leadership guys up to this meeting, and they say they're gonna go on offense in this meeting.
I don't know how they're gonna do that because they're not gonna have the power to set the agenda.
That f for for the Republicans to go to this meeting thinking they're gonna go on the offense is like me telling you that a caller is going to determine how this radio program uh turns out each and every day.
This isn't gonna happen.
And and nothing against callers.
But I mean, I'm the head honcho here, the caller's not.
Uh, and and Obama's the head honcho in a White House whenever anybody goes up there to talk to him, the people going up to talk to him are not.
So it'll be interesting.
Then in light of that, John Kyle um said that uh he threw more cold water yesterday on the chances that his party would cooperate with a February 25th health care reform summit at the White House.
Uh he said the Democrats already seemed poised to force a bill through Congress.
He was on State of the Union on CNN.
And he said that Obama and House and Senate Democrats intend the summit as a public display and not a genuine dialogue.
And he quoted a recent Wall Street Journal article that asserted that Pelosi has set the stage for using reconciliation to pass health care.
Um controversial legislative tactic would allow the bill to pass the Senate with 51 votes instead of 60, as you know.
So uh he said, I don't know why we're having a bipartisan summit, uh, because they've already decided how they're gonna get this done.
I don't know how that squares with the McConnell saying he's gonna take his leadership gang up there.
Uh I guess they're just of the opinion of ladies and gentlemen, they can't not go.
But I frankly think that there's nothing wrong with being the party of no, especially at this point in time and on this issue.
Uh let's go to ABC's this week.
During the round table, Peter Beinart, the Daily Beast said this about Cheney.
Dick Cheney is not a bad guy to have a fight with.
I mean, this is a guy whose opinion ratings at one point were lower than O.J. Simpson's.
One of the advantages when the opposition when you when you have an opposition party is you can define their leaders.
You can choose the more unpopular guys.
They take the fight with Rush Limbaugh.
Now they're they're having a fight with De Cheney because he's one of the more unpopular Republicans out there.
Uh, I I don't think these guys quite understand what's happened out there.
Uh, if I met Mr. Binart, well, with all due respect, my popularity is in an all-time high.
Uh, Obama's popularity is plunging big time, and Cheney is one of the most respected voices in the Republican.
These guys are so detached from reality in the state control media.
It is laughable and humorous to watch it.
Serving humanity, executing assigned host duties flawlessly, zero mistakes.
That's because I do the assigning.
Uh, so therefore nothing can ever be wrong if I decide to do it.
800 282-2882 is a phone number.
And we'll get to your phone calls here in uh in just a second.
Colbert King, Colby King, I think.
Yeah, he's a columnist for the for the WAPO.
The uh Washington Post, he was on public televisions inside Washington on Saturday and compared me to the Taliban wing of the Republican Party.
Russ Limbaugh, who represents, I think the Taliban wing of the Republican Party, who was urging, urging the party in Washington to say no.
He said, be the party of no.
Resist compromise with them.
Don't try to work with this administration.
You shouldn't be the party of no, no, no.
And that's what they're listening to.
I don't know if they're listening to me or not, but they're doing the right thing.
Why in the world Colby, pardon me, folks?
I know it's pointless to try to educate these people inside the beltway, especially Democrats and columnists, but what in the world is there to want to compromise with this administration on?
This administration is destroying the private sector on purpose.
This administration is trying to take over one sixth of the U.S. economy.
And by the way, this I'm talking about health care.
And one thing we need to keep pounding and reminding everybody.
Obama's health care proposals are not intended to help the people.
They are intended to help the Democrat Party.
And that's why Obama keeps pushing it.
And I'm told about this February 25th meeting, folks, that Obama's actually going to put together his own health care proposal.
He's actually going to have a bill.
Now, why do you think that is?
Who in the world has been reminding everybody that poor old Obama never even had a bill?
It was I, the Taliban wing of the Republican Party.
And I, you know that the let me ask you something, Colby.
You think your real enemy is us?
The real enemy is the real Taliban and the real Al-Qaeda, and it would be nice if people like you had a little bit more serious take on them than political opponents who simply support capitalism, freedom, and liberty and see no reason to compromise with people who don't believe in any of that.
Where is the compromise between right and wrong?
Where's the compromise between good and evil?
If I believe in liberty, free market capitalism, and all that, where is there any area of compromise with this administration?
If I think the federal government has no business running health care to any greater extent than they already do, why should I entertain any bit of compromise with them?
Why should I accept their premise, Colby?
I disagree with every premise.
We're here to defeat them.
We are here to politically defeat them and see to it their agenda does not succeed.
And when was the last time, Colby, you asked the Democrats to compromise with me?
When's the last time you asked the Democrats to compromise with Newt Gingrich?
Or George W. Bush.
You guys have this one-way street, you have this august view of yourselves as in power in perpetuity as a birthright, and we're just a little bunch of, you know, ankle biters running around knocking and bugging you people, uh, a bunch of little chihuahuas, and you think that we've got to start healing, yes, master.
We gotta run around when you say sit, we sit.
When you say heal, we heal.
When you say lay down, we lay down.
And it ain't that way, Colby.
There's nothing to compromise with here.
Zilch, zero.
Not you you think I want the federal government owning car companies?
Or banks?
You know what's happening in the folk, I'm gonna say what's happening uh with with uh with everybody thinks Wall Street's a bunch of Republicans, uh big, evil, rich Republicans.
Hell, folks, do you realize Walmart even wants a national health care plan?
What's happened, and this is Colby, this is another reason why there's no compromise, not here.
And I don't speak for the Republican Party, Taliban wing, or any other.
But I'm gonna tell you something what's happening here is crony, quote unquote crony capitalism.
These guys on Wall Street, the Jamie Diamonds of the World and Lloyd Blank Finds of uh of JP Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, respectively, instead of doing business to please their customers, are now in business to do to with with the government to make sure they're not killed, to make sure they're not harmed.
Walmart focuses on their customers, but they've also lobbying Washington big time to make sure Obama doesn't nationalize them.
So you have in the old days, the last time this happened was World War II.
But that was because there was a war on and it made sense.
But there's no war on right now, other than the Taliban wing of the Republican Party and its war against Obama and the Democrats.
But that's hardly World War II.
Although, well, wait a minute, country is under assault, more so than we were in World War II, other than from the Japanese.
But the Germans never attacked us, Japanese did, regardless.
What's happening here is that major U.S. corporations are getting in bed with the federal government for favorable treatment, government contracts or what have you, rather than focusing on pleasing customers, growing their ranks in that uh in the traditional free market capitalist way.
This is gonna stop.
And the only reason it's happening is because you got people in Washington scaring the hell out of everybody.
But they're call They're talking big money.
So if you can become part of a Obama big-time government machine and guarantee yourself ongoing profits because government's your biggest customer, then that's what you're gonna do.
They'll follow the lay of the land.
This has got to stop, Colby.
The greatest country on earth will cease being if these guys have any success with any part of this agenda of theirs.
And so there is no compromise.
This health care bill, it's not about helping the people.
Show me one aspect of it that does.
Show me where premiums come down, show me where more people are insured, show me where overall costs decline.
None of that happens.
All that happens is that people become more and more dependent on government.
They already have nationalized a student loan program, and I got a story here from the Wall Street Journal, I think.
Some woman owes $150,000.
That's how much it cost her to become a doctor.
Now, people are not going to be able to pay back that kind of debt over the course of their lives.
People are going to start asking, is an education worth that?
550 grand.
Now, that's because she defaulted on some payments early on because she didn't have the money.
But I mean, that's government doesn't mind that.
The more indentured servitude we have to the government, the better people like Obama and the Democrats in Congress like it.
Why do I want to compromise with that, Colby?
I don't want to compromise with any aspect of this.
They're not doing health care to help the people.
They are intending to do this to help a Democrat Party.
That's why Obama keeps pushing it.
Have you Fox, have you heard?
I'm sure you have by now.
I mean, it's over.
The four corners of deceit have finally collapsed on the climate gate global warming climate change issue.
All that's left, all that's left is a legacy of lies.
This guy at the uh Hadley Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, which is in the UK, has finally admitted there has not been any warming since 1995.
This guy, the primary advisor to the IPCC, which got a Nobel Prize, the primary advisor to Al Gore, who shared the Nobel Prize.
Donald Trump has called for the Nobel Peace Prize to be taken back from Gore.
Trump has.
Well, I don't blame him.
What a fraud.
There hasn't been any warming since 1995, and this is just one example of the fraud that is liberalism and the Democrat Party from start to finish.
This is from the UK Daily, but this is still not appeared in the U.S. media.
It is not appeared in the U.S. state-controlled media.
Climate Gate U-turn, as scientist at center of Rao admits there has been no global warming since 1995.
Data for vital hockey stick graph has gone missing.
There has been no global warming since 1995.
Warming periods have happened before, but not due to man-made changes.
They're now admitting all of this.
They're admitting that the whole thing is a fraud.
The academic at the center of the climate gate affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble keeping track of the information.
Colleagues say that the reason professor, Professor, Professor Phil Jones, uh, has refused freedom of information request is that he may have actually lost the medium papers.
It's gone missing.
The fact is they never existed.
They were made up.
And that's why he can't find them.
The whole thing is a fraud.
Health care reform is everything the liberals proposed.
This is the greatest illustration.
For 25 years, this has been my number one cause, folks.
So at well, I've had a lot of close Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation, leukemia lymphoma, but but blowing up this bogus hoax.
Something I've known for 25 years was before when I first saw my first ever interview of a so-called climate scientist in 1984, this week, when they had David Brinkley.
We've only got 20 years.
We don't know if we're right, but we can't afford not to proceed as though we are.
That was 1984.
Twenty years, 2004 is supposed to all be over and incorrect.
We haven't had any warming.
The hoaxers now admit.
We haven't had any warming since 1995.
Professor Jones told BBC yesterday that there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacks organizational skills.
That his office is swamped with piles of paper.
And it is record keeping is not as good as it should be.
That's because, my friends, it was all made up.
The data is crucial to the famous hockey stick graph used by climate change advocates to support their theory.
Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than even now.
Suggesting global warming may not be man-made phenomenon at all.
My friends, it's over.
Deniers were the people who just said no.
See, it's okay to say no, Colby.
It's okay to say no, Mitch.
It's okay to say no, Senator Kyle.
It's okay to say no, Congressman Boehner.
When there is active fraud, you must say no.
And I take that back.
It isn't okay to say no.
It is our duty to say no when the fix is in.
It is our duty to say no when there is a fraud being perpetrated on people.
Democrats and liberals have gotten away with their intimidation and bullying tactics because state-controlled media has done their bidding.
Think Obamacare.
With global warming, academia and science joined in, the four corners of deceit.
Government, media, science, and politics.
The four corners of deceit.
Professors lie, as it turns out.
Professors and scientists lie, journalists lie, liberals lie.
We either let them continue to lie, or we confront them at every turn.
No one gets the benefit of the doubt when it comes to taking our liberty.
Nobody gets the benefit of, especially somebody who is so open about wanting to take it away.
Somebody like Obama.
We don't have to play their games, and we don't have to accept their premises.
We don't have to pretend that they are honest brokers when the facts say otherwise.
Obamacare bends the cost care down.
Let's see that fraudulent hockey stick graph.
Obama will not increase taxes on the middle class.
Aha, that's out the window.
Mandating the purchase of health insurance, is that constitutional and a prison term if you don't?
Cap and trade will save the planet?
That you talk about a hoax.
Cap and trade based on this hoax that's now been admitted.
Oh, and wait till you hear about the ruination.
That wind energy has been in Europe.
And guess what else?
Europe has finally admitted that ethanol ain't any big deal, and they're backtracking from it.
The global warming fraud is so massive, so pervasive, so significant that it hasn't sunk in with most of the literate world.
I have more to say on this, but I'm about four minutes over time here.
Colby King, Saturday on public television's inside Washington criticizing me.
You know, back in the old days, Colby, your job as a columnist as an esteemed member of the uh the fourth estate and the fifth column was to be critical of people who had real power.
The government.
Colby, no matter what I believe, I can't change your life at all.
I may make you miserable, but I can't raise your taxes, I can't send your kids off to war, and I can't take away your health care.
You guys used to criticize government.
Now you criticize the critics.
Stop and think of that.
You're out there criticizing the critics.
I mean, I'm honored to be a target.
I enjoy it.
This global warming fraud is so massive, it is so pervasive, so significant, it has not sunk in yet with most of the literate world.
Think about everything.
Folks, seriously now.
Think about everything that's changed.
The demonization of cars, the demonization of oil.
Human life has been blamed.
CO2, carbon trading fraud, the horror of carbon footprints, the flooding of the coasts, all of these lies.
Middle ages-like thinking has reinfected Western civilization thanks to scam artists like Dr. Phil Jones and Hadley and the stupid Algore.
The few brave scientists like our climatologist here, Dr. Roy Spencer, University of Alabama, Huntsville, who have spoken up have been nearly driven out of existence.
They have been targeted as heretics.
Freedom of speech has been under assault.
The idea of damning so-called deniers when it comes to climate science is at best shameful.
And at worst.
Well, if there are feminazies, there are environazes on this issue, and they're all over the place.
Quick phone call here.
This is Aaron, 15 years old from Leonardtown, Maryland.
Hi, uh Aaron, great to have you here.
Hey, Mr. Limbaugh.
It is an absolute honor to speak to you for the first time.
Thank you so much.
You're out of school today, right?
Because of Obama Day.
Well, actually, I've been out of school, I was out of school all last week because of the big snowstorm.
I'm in Southern Maryland.
We were hit very hard by the uh big snowstorm.
Oh, yeah.
Well, that's a good thing.
I mean, your education's not suffered as a result.
Yeah, well, it's the global warming.
It's the global warming.
Exactly.
Global warming.
Uh the reason I want to call you is in two and a half years, I plan to cast my very first vote against uh President Obama.
And the fear that I'm having going into 2012 is young people.
Because the biggest problem with uh, well, the young people is they are infatuated by this president.
I don't think so much anymore.
I think you probably some still are, but the bloom's off the rose for a lot of them, because then there's no hope.
And the change that they're getting, it's just it's just horrible.
I I think the I think most of the young people are gonna want to join the moguls, you know, start skiing the slopes as moguls uh competitors after watching the Olympics.
I doubt too many are gonna go be the losers, uh, but uh you're gonna have a lot of them uh we're gonna get back to traditional, where people like you are gonna be the exception in young people.
They're disillusioned there, trust me, don't doubt me on this.
I mean, we're supposed to have utopia by now.
Everybody was supposed to have health care.
Uh the sea levels were supposed to start receding when they haven't even risen.
Uh, all of this magic that was promised by the cult like Obama hadn't happened, his approval numbers are very high among the youths of America.
And uh don't I mean I'm gonna be thinking about you.
That election day when you get to cast your first vote against Obama, do it many times.
You live in Maryland, you can get away with it.
Ladies and gentlemen, somebody, somebody who has total credibility on this global warming issue, somebody who's been right from the beginning, and there's only one person I know who meets those two tests, and that person is me.
Some people say a person is myself.
Uh, that's not correct, but I want you to understand what I'm saying.
Somebody needs to step forward with a plan to allow otherwise critically thinking human beings a path back to reality.
