Views expressed by the host on this program documented to be almost always right 99.5% of the time.
And I am your host, Rush Limbaugh, meeting and surpassing all audience expectations every day.
A genuine thrill and delight to be back with you.
Here's the telephone number.
We'll get to your phone calls in this hour.
800-282-2882 and the email address, El Rushbo at EIBNet.com.
A couple more things about this healthcare.
I went in, you know, I've been going back and forth on whether or not I should divulge how much the hospital stay, the tests, the doctors and all that cost last week.
And you go back and forth on it.
I went in to the booth on the other side of the glass, and they were all studying.
Really?
It costs less than a car?
I said, yeah, it costs less than your average SUV that your average family wants.
And they said, well, how much was it?
And I told them, and they were shocked.
And I smiled.
They thought, one of them thought this would be six figures that this cost.
They could not believe that it cost what it costs.
So I'll ask you, when we get to the phones, if anybody wants to take a guess at what it costs, I'll go that way.
But it's safe to say, and by the way, we're all in the habit of saying the healthcare system, but there is no real health care system.
There is going to be if Obama gets his way.
But the Queens Medical Center and hospital in Hawaii competes with other hospitals.
I mean, they were very happy I was going to go out and do a press conference.
They're very happy about that.
They compete.
And there may be a system in Hawaii, state controls and so forth.
But regardless, use the word system or not, what happened to me, it worked.
It worked.
And it was not because I make whatever numbers of millions of dollars a year.
You don't have to make any, you don't need to make a million dollars a year to afford what I got last week in Hawaii.
You do not.
This whole notion that only rich, super rich can afford this kind of thing.
There's so many myths and misnomers.
And again, I was charged 30% less because I didn't use insurance.
That ought to tell somebody something.
And I've had that experience before.
But the healthcare system at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu worked.
Maybe what we ought to do, folks, is start working on our national security system.
Maybe we ought to work on making sure that fruit of kaboom bombers don't get on airplanes with bombs in their underwear.
Obama running around talking about it was a screw-up, a screw-up, a screw-up that could have been disaster.
Screw-up.
That's something that could happen to anybody.
After a screw-up, you say, I'm sorry, you move on.
You don't fire somebody for a screw-up.
Letting the fruit of kaboom bomber on a jet into the U.S. is gross incompetence.
It's almost an indictment.
Who's been fired?
Anybody been fired?
Has anybody been fired?
Secret Service or at the White House for three crashers?
Is there any accountability in this administration anywhere?
Oh, by the way, I'm prepared.
I know how you leftists work out there.
And then, because one of the release of prisoners at Gitmo to Yemen, we're going to pull back on that.
Yeah, we're going to pull back on that.
It doesn't look good.
And then the leftists are saying, but hey, you know, Bush went a couple of them out too.
Bush, not because he wanted to.
Bush released people from Guantanamo Bay because our good old ACLU and a number of leftist organizations and members of Congress decided to take the powers of Commander-in-Chief away from Bush in that way.
Bush did not want to release anybody from Guantanamo.
But the idea that there is some kind of equivalence between Bush and Obama regarding prisoners at Guantanamo Bay is simple folly.
What we have here, folks, is not a screw-up.
And, you know, Obama's not going to fire anybody over this because that would be evidence that he screwed up.
Obama will end up holding nobody responsible unless he can find a Bush appointee because it would be a poor reflection on himself, which is pure narcissism.
He's going to hold nobody accountable because he doesn't want to be held accountable.
How about these show trials that Obama is going to bring off?
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the boys.
Eric Holder and Obama.
This is an absolute disaster waiting to happen.
It's going to cause great harm to the criminal justice system in and of itself.
Now, is giving Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9-11 and his two henchmen, giving them a show trial with full constitutional rights in New York City.
Is that a screw-up?
Is giving the fruit of kaboom bomber, who isn't a citizen of this country, an attempted act of war, giving him full constitutional rights.
Is that a screw-up?
Multiple unauthorized guests into the White House.
Is that a screw up?
Fort Hood terror attack.
Was that a screw up?
Being tougher on Israel in Iran.
Is that a screw-up?
Planning on sending 90 hardened terrorists from Guantanamo Gay to Yemen?
A screw-up?
Is lifting an executive order, giving Interpol immunity from American laws?
A screw up?
Is reneging on an unprompted, calculated campaign pledge to put Obamacare negotiations on C-SPAN eight different times?
Is that a screw-up?
Is creating two trillion-dollar slush funds while calling them TARP and job stimulus plans?
Is that a screw-up?
Obama's screw-up in everything he's done to try to reignite the U.S. economy.
10 to 17% unemployment.
Is that a screw up?
No.
No, all of this is on purpose.
Everything I've just gone through is on purpose, including 17% unemployment.
Now, for those of you who still doubt, who still have trouble putting your arms around the concept that this economic disaster is purposeful, Peter Schweitzer has written Architects of Ruin, page 8.
This is a look back at Saul Olinski.
Saul Alinsky, an Obama acolyte, Obama's one of his acolytes, argued, Alinsky argued the middle class would have to be brought around slowly to revolutionary change, to radical change.
Couldn't do it overnight.
And that the best way to do it was to take everything away from them.
Listen, this is Alinsky.
Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people.
They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future.
This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution.
Now, speaking for myself, I have no doubt that Obama wishes to remake this country because he finds it guilty.
It is immoral.
It is colonial.
It has been imperialistic.
Its military is immoral.
We have supported the wrong people.
We have plundered the earth.
We have stolen all these resources for our own benefit, our own lifestyle.
Meanwhile, we have created and continue to propagate poor people all over.
He thinks that way of this country.
It's what he's been taught.
It's what he learned in Harvard.
It's what he learned in Hawaii.
It's what he's learned everywhere he's been in school and with the people at Mandardin.
This country is unjust and immoral.
He's going to make it right.
And he is, he taught Alinsky at the University of Chicago.
He lectured on Alinsky.
Alinsky is a god to leftist radicals.
And so when Alinsky writes, people have to feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the current system, i.e. capitalism, that they are willing to let go of the past, capitalism, change the future, socialism.
Well, I don't know if you've seen the economic news.
If you haven't, I'll share it with you, but they're talking a double-dip real estate problem, unemployment, no change coming.
People are unhappier in their jobs than ever before.
There is a lot of frustration.
There's a lot of defeat out there.
A lot of people feeling lost.
A lot of people feeling futureless.
And the way Obama and Rahm Emanuel look at this is a crisis to be taken advantage of.
Quick timeout.
We'll get to your phone calls right after this.
Don't go away.
Hi, how are you?
It's Rush Limboy behind the Golden EIB microphone and again at the Limboy Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.
We go to the phones as promised.
We're going to start Springfield, Illinois.
John, I'm glad you called, sir.
Hello.
Hi, Rush.
Hey, I've listened to you since you were on Little WITV in Belleville, and your ratings were so high that KMOX had to pick you up.
Yeah, thank you very much, sir.
I remember that well.
Well, I'm a cardiologist.
I'm driving in central Illinois, and I wanted to tell you you did not get any different care than anyone else.
We do similar things to every person, and we don't ask them how much money they make or what their insurance is.
We just take care of them.
Well, I know.
One of the many myths about this is that certain people get special treatment.
I guess hold on a second.
If there's nationalized health care and the ability to do routine cardiac cast is limited, well, you wouldn't have gotten your cardiac calf the next morning.
Well, then.
You would have had to wait two or three weeks.
You would have gone home and you would have had to come back when they said you could come back.
Exactly.
That's my whole point.
There was not one bureaucrat between me and the doctors or the hospital.
Not one bureaucrat.
There was nobody assessing whether or not I deserved to be treated based on risk factors, age, weight, whatever it was.
There was no guidelines as to should a cardiac cath be used here or not.
It was.
I decided with European.
They told me that it wasn't right then.
And that's exactly what happened.
And they told me the same thing.
Both cardiologists told me that nothing happened to me that wouldn't have happened to anybody else that came in in the same circumstance.
Ambulances arrives, chest pain.
They're doctors.
They want to find out what the hell happened.
Exactly.
Now, you really don't want me to guess how much it costs, do you?
Sure.
Take a flyer.
I mean, I think.
Cap, now you're paying yourself or are you on Medicaid?
Pay myself.
I did no Medicaid.
All right.
If you paid for a CAP yourself, you may have paid about $3,000 for the procedure.
Okay.
Now, if you're on Medicaid, we get about $75.
We have to bill repeatedly, and then the state of Illinois delays her payment six months to a year and then may not pay us at all, deny the claim for any reason.
So it wastes my money, not my time and money, but it's a waste for my staff's time and money to even bill Medicaid.
$75, he's got reimbursed for a $3,000 procedure.
No, I'm not saying we get reimbursed.
I'm saying that's what they say they'll reimburse us.
Most times they don't.
Medicare, you get under $1,000.
Now, to stay overnight in the ER, that was probably another $3,000.
Then you stayed an extra day.
You probably got out of there for about $10,000.
A little bit more than that, but not much.
There were a lot of other tests.
Let's just say, in the situation similar for me, let's say that you didn't get done the next day.
Well, you're going to tell your friends that, hey, they jerked me around.
They didn't take care of me.
And your friends will go down the street to the other hospital.
Yeah, let's say there's only one hospital and one program and one cost and one price.
Well, I guarantee you you're going to wait.
And in fact, I hope that some friends of ours from Canada or Britain call in or some friends, and I hate to say it because my son's at the Naval Academy, but I hope some friends that deal with the VA call in.
Well, the horror stories are all over the place, I know.
And the Queens Medical Center does compete.
There's another hospital in Honolulu, and I was taken to Queens.
But now, every point you're making is valid.
No question about it.
Fred in Kalamazoo, Michigan, you're next on the EIB.
How are you doing, sir?
Believe it or not, I'm a lifelong listener, first time in a long time calling.
And I am a Democrat.
And I'll just tell you right off the bat, from Dr. Martin Luther King, when he said somebody said they're glad that he didn't sneeze.
I'm glad that you came through your procedure.
Thank you, sir, very much.
Okay, because I understand it.
I disagree with you on the health care issue.
I guess roughly with procedures, my guess is it ran about $40,000.
I might be a little bit off.
But for an average working individual, even with a payment plan and a thing that would set them up where you could be able to pay your way out of it, along with a mortgage and a car note or anything else you have to have to sustain the American lifestyle, this is why Democrats and people who are, I'm semi-conservative, but people who are truly liberal are pushing for national health care.
And not only that, it's because of the fact that other countries are subsidizing their health care anyway, which puts us in an e-commerce situation at a disadvantage.
Let me tackle first, in order, the things that you've said here.
You've said that the treatment I got would bankrupt you, and you guessed that the treatment cost $40,000.
Right, that's correct.
Okay.
It did not cost anywhere near $40,000.
Okay.
It cost less.
It didn't even cost half what the average SUV owned by the average American family is.
Right.
Now, you say that the average working man couldn't come up with a payment plan, couldn't afford this because of the American lifestyle.
You've got to have your mortgage, you've got to have a car, you've got to have this and that.
Yes.
And then you say, then you say that this is why liberals are for health care because they're competitive.
What you're saying is you want me and other citizens to pay for your health care that you don't want to have to pay for.
Who do you think is going to pay for it if you don't?
But you're paying for it anyway by the people who are not insured anyway.
The premiums that you're paying or if you have a contradiction.
No, no, no, no.
I don't pay premiums.
I purposely opt out of the health insurance system because of my own proclivities.
I just don't want to be involved in a bureaucracy.
I have no desire to have a government bureaucrat in the state or an insurance company bureaucrat deciding getting in the way between my and my doctor.
Now, I'm very lucky in this, but it's something I've worked for.
Yeah, but there's only...
And that we could get to...
No, it used to be that way for everybody in this country, friend.
But that's it.
It used to be until liberals got involved in this.
When I was a kid, when I was a kid, went to the doctor, they sent a bill.
Hospital sent a bill.
Medicare, Medicaid come into play.
All this, the government creating HMOs.
Thank you, Ted Kennedy.
Prices start to skyrocket.
There's no reason this had to happen.
And there's no reason we can't go back to the way it was.
We do it in every other aspect of life.
But see what you just made my point.
And I'm not criticizing you because I understand why you do it.
You're a liberal.
You think you've got a bigger heart than everybody else?
And you're very compassionate.
And there's something about health care that everybody's entitled to.
We're not at all entitled to cars.
We're not all entitled to houses on a beach, but we all are entitled to health care.
And somehow somebody has to pay for it.
And if you're thinking that the average working man can't afford this, that somebody else is going to have to pay for it.
So I think you're just abrogating responsibility and disguising it with compassion.
I know this is a tough sell, folks.
I mean, many of you in this audience get it, but I know what I'm up against here.
50 years of an ingrained political drumbeat that there is some moral requirement or entitlement to health care.
I'll just, for myself, in helping to explain, I do not look at it that way.
Forgive me for looking at things this way, but I actually think I have to pay for what I get.
I do.
I was raised that way.
I know this is insensitive to say.
I know it's insensitive to make this point because not everybody can pay for what they want, have, and so forth.
But I do.
I know that makes me an oddball, the notion that I should pay for what I get.
And I've just accepted that responsibility, even with the exorbitant prices of not just health care, but a whole bunch of other stuff out there that's ridiculously priced as well.
And we'll be back.
And here's something else to think about.
And this is something that the guy from Kalamazoo did bring up.
I mean, How much less, how much less would my hospital bill have been if the people on Medicaid and Medicare were actually paying their way?
My costs were what they are because people like me are subsidizing, and a lot of you too, the Medicare Medicaid system, people who aren't paying for their health care, and those with no insurance who just don't pay.
That would be the illegal aliens.
So it would have cost even less.
And nobody's talking about doing anything.
There's not one element of any of these plans in the House or Senate that's going to reduce anybody's cost.
Not one.
There have been 1,246 United States winter weather record events since last Wednesday.
1,246 winter weather record events.
Snowfall, 454 records.
Low temperatures, 233.
Lowest maximum temperature, 559.
1,246 U.S. winter weather record events since last Wednesday.
And still, I can show you stories in the stack of stuff about we got to act fast on climate change and global warming.
Here's Nancy Pelosi.
She's not happy.
You know, Obama's out there promised eight times to have all these health care negotiations on C-SPAN.
Brian Lamb said, hey, televise them.
Well, we'll do everything.
We'll let the American public see.
This is exactly what President Obama said.
And Pelosi, she's not happy about this at all.
She says, yesterday afternoon in Washington, a reporter said C-SPAN wrote a letter.
Mr. Lamb, to you guys, to have this process be transparent regardless of conference committee.
Right now, it's being done with ping-pong.
Any response to that?
Really?
Well, there are a number of things that he was wrong on the convention trail.
But I will say that there has never been a more open process for any legislation and anyone who serves here's experience.
What planet is this woman on?
What planet?
The most open process.
Did you hear the dig at Obama?
All right, he promised a lot of things.
What she's upset about, she's upset that there's a tax increase on the middle class in the health care bill in the Senate on Cadillac health care plans.
She's upset about that.
And the liberals in the House, they don't like the fact that there won't be a conference.
Pelosi and Reed are going back and forth under cover of darkness.
And this is leading folks.
There are all of these Democrat resignations and retirements.
And the Democrats are retiring.
Make no mistake about it because Barack Obama is destroying his party.
Exactly as I predicted on this program many, many moons ago.
They are retiring because he's failed.
If Obama's policies were succeeding, there wouldn't be any retirements.
They'd all be out there trying to break Senator Byrd's record, length of service record, but they're running for the hills.
A lot of them, governors, gubernatorial candidates, senators, members of the House.
These Democrats drank the Obama Kool-Aid, and they're committing political suicide.
Some are just dropping out sooner than others.
But Obamacare, cap-and-trade, job killers, the stimulus bill is not working.
Private sector is being destroyed.
You know, what Obama wants, I hope doesn't happen.
We're not sitting here envying Venezuelans.
We want a better life for ourselves and for future generations.
And Obama's not interested in providing that.
The net negative.
Now, the resignations here is fascinating is somebody, somebody's telling these people to go.
I wonder who called Chris Dodd and said, you got to go.
You've got to go or we're going to torture you, right?
As in Robert Torricelli, they're going to, who calls these people?
Somebody's telling them they've got to go.
I just refuse to believe they're coming to these decisions on their own.
You know, last thing Dodd wants to do is leave the Senate.
But in some cases, people, political scientists, are analyzing that this is a good move by the Democrats because these people that are quitting had no prayer of winning their replacements.
Now they might hold the seats.
And I think we're going to win in Connecticut, I have no doubt about it.
And we're going to win in Nevada.
I think Reed's toast.
Folks, I don't think the political class yet grasps the degree of anti-majority party incumbency they want to get rid of.
I don't think the Democrat Party has the slightest idea.
They may think they do, but they don't have the slightest idea of the genuine outrage that exists out there.
The Democrat Party is at war with the American people.
The Democrat Party treats Americans worse than it treats foreign terror suspects.
The Democrat Party is at war with the American people.
The American people have made it plain on health care and cap and trade.
They want no part of this.
This is not what they voted for.
More and more people realize that they voted for an empty suit when Obama said, hey, paint me whatever you want.
I'm a blank canvas.
He was exactly honest.
He was right.
There isn't anything there on purpose.
Now it's coming back to haunt them.
Now they have to govern against the will of the American people, and they're going to lose because of that.
Now, they might succeed in imposing part of their agenda on the nation during this Congress, but this Congress is going to be different next year.
Very different.
And the process of rolling back the agenda is going to begin in earnest.
Obama is a false prophet.
He is a radical dressed up as some historic figure.
But there's nothing new about Obama or what he's doing.
It's as old as man.
Obama is a con man from the get-go.
There's nothing new or unique about Barack Obama.
What is new is that he's been able to do so much damage in such a short period of time.
And that's due to an accident of electoral history.
How many Democrats in the Senate are actually elected?
They have 60 votes in the Senate through hook and crook.
I will never believe that Al Franken really won his election, for example.
Arlen Specter quit, jumped ship.
Burris, Illinois, unelected.
The Democrats in Illinois would not allow a special election.
Paul Kirk, Massachusetts, not elected, replaced Ted Kennedy rather than a special election.
If they'd had to have special elections, they wouldn't have 60 seats.
I mean, they're standing democracy on its head each and every day.
The people of this country are going to end up being heard despite the efforts to silence them.
And they're going to strike back despite efforts to smear them and assassinate their character, which is what the Democrat Party's doing.
And this is dawning on more and more people.
It's the Democrat Party that's smearing average Americans.
Teabaggers, Tea Party people, whatever they call them.
These are average Americans who simply propose or oppose socialism.
And you can hear how they're discussed.
So now these rats, the Democrats are jumping ship to save face because, and here's the real reason.
If you lose your election, it's tougher to get a big-time lobbying job.
You quit now, and then you move into the real big bucks.
You try to get a big-time lobby job, or maybe some plum appointment in the Obama administration, because your value, their value goes to hell as electoral losers.
So they're jumping ship to save themselves.
No other reason.
They're not jumping ship to save the party.
They may be being forced to walk the plank.
I still think that there may be a little rom Emmanuel there saying, hey, Chris, it's over, buddy.
You know how Clinton kept Andrew Cuomo from running for governor?
Somebody's out there pulling these strings.
This is not a coincidence.
Barack Obama, our young idealistic president, has destroyed our nation's fiscal standing for generations.
He's destroyed it, all of this debt.
He's destroyed our reputation around the world.
He's not rebuilt anything.
He's a wrecking ball wherever he goes.
And he now seeks to destroy the health industry in this country and the energy industry and the private sector generally.
And now he's destroying his own party.
That's who he is.
All of this for himself.
This is all about himself and his power and his narcissism.
Know these people like every square inch of my shrinking and glorious naked body.
My friends, you know liberalism.
You know it lies.
And nothing that they promise ever happens, just the exact opposite.
And don't doubt for a moment, destroy the healthcare system is what's going to happen.
When I was out in Honolulu and I said the American healthcare system is the best in the world, it is.
I had a problem.
I went in.
I got treated.
And I paid for it.
And I walked out as alive as ever.
It's the best healthcare system in the world.
And you do not need to make a million dollars in order to get the treatment I got or the care that I got.
Now, these Democrats, some of them are spinning this as a win, all these retirements.
Oh, yeah, yeah, we're getting rid of guaranteed losers out there.
We're replacing these losers with people who actually hold these seats.
Yeah, clearing out candidates who can't win in November.
Well, if that's the case, let's take them at their word.
If that's the case, if that's a strategy, then more of you Democrats ought to resign, starting with Harry Reid.
Many of you are not going to be around anyway in November, so why don't you leave now?
If that's what you're doing, clearing out candidates who can't win, if that's the logic, we need to see mass resignations because you Democrats have no clue how bad it's going to be in November.
People are not going to forget this in any way, shape, man, or form.
There is no love anymore for Obama.
There is no swooning.
There is no special.
There is no messianic anything.
He's a screw-up.
And he's seen that way.
You know who I'm waiting to hear from?
Now, maybe you're willing to wait with me.
Maybe you're curious.
I'm waiting to hear from Colin Powell.
I'm waiting to hear from Tom Ridge and all these others who said that the American people wanted all this socialism.
Remember?
The American people want these services and these tax increases.
Said General Powell, who is the archetypical Republican.
He's exactly what we all ought to be, they say in the media.
I'm divisive, you know.
Dridge says I'm divisive either.
I'm not helpful.
Well, where are these guys now that everything that's being attacked is falling apart?
Where are they?
Why is General Powell hiding?
Why is Tom Ridge hiding it?
It used to be you couldn't keep them off the Sunday shows.
You couldn't keep them off these nighttime cable chat shows.
But now you don't see them.
They're no longer guests on these silly little shows.
So we're going to win North Dakota.
Helmet Head's gone.
Helmet Head Dorgan.
There's no way they're going to hold that seat.
Now, Helmet Head's gone.
We're probably going to win in Connecticut, too, because the anti-incumbency feeling is deeper and broader than anybody understands.
And by that, I mean the anti-incumbency is cutting one way against the Democrats, the majority party.
We'll be right back.
Hi, welcome back.
It's Rush Limbaugh with talent on loan from God Clifton in Louisville.
Great to have you on the program, sir.
Hello.
Thank you, sir.
Megan Ditto, welcome back from the dead.
If this had been Obama, they would have been calling us a reincarnation by now.
Thank you, sir.
The Democrats did have me dead.
I mean, at the time, if you Googled Rush Limbaugh, the first five or six results were Limbaugh dead.
Yeah, well, sorry to disappoint them.
That's good for them.
No, I just like to take issue.
I think these guys, this is like the Congressional Medal of Honor by voting for this health care bill because they've initiated the largest socialist system in the world at this particular point, and that they will be justly rewarded with those votes, even though they have been asked to leave.
So I just think that this is a medal of honor for them.
And that was a plan in the past.
I'm sure that they're looking at it that way, that they've made the supreme sacrifice.
The ultimate sacrifice, they gave up their office, which is akin to giving up their lives, for the people, for a socialist healthcare system.
Yeah, it's sick, but I'll tell you what, this is going to result.
By the way, the two other Democrats have not elected.
Kirsten Gillibrand in New York, she was appointed, and this guy from Colorado Bennett, I mean, there are more, five or six of these clowns.
They wouldn't have 60 votes if we'd had special elections.
So that's a quirk of electoral fate that made all this possible.
And there's going to be a huge sweeping of Democrats in November, and the rollback of some of this stuff is going to commence.
This is not something people are going to put up for.
You know, a lot of us folks had a day or two off, a week off, week and a half off during a holiday period.
People at the Heritage Foundation didn't.
And one of the ways I kept up with things was to access AskHeritage.org when I was gone.
They covered the news of the Obama administration lifting the caps on how much bailout money Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac could receive.
You realize that happened?
It lifted the caps.
In fact, Barney Frank said these are now public utilities.
The whole notion of the private sector having anything to do with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is gone.
He's just appropriate.
The way to look at this is that one congressional district in Massachusetts essentially is able to take over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and use it as its personal piggy bank.
Harney Frank.
Heritage paid attention to the details in the $2 trillion health care reform bill.
And if you belong to Heritage, if you're a member, you can log on anytime and read all kinds of truthful information as to what's going on.
Then they do the truth.
They do it as well as I do, folks.
Real truth about big government spending is one of the ways to combat what's going on, and that happens at the Heritage Foundation day in and day out.
You know, truth, I heard it described when I was gone.
Truth has got gravity.
Truth attracts.
The truth bursts through.
Eventually, it does.
And that's why those of us who deal with it are so confident and comfortable doing so.
And the Heritage Foundation is also essentially just dealing with truth.
We call it conservatism, others call it truth, but it's one and the same thing.
Askheritage.org, 25 bucks is all it takes, and you will not regret it.
John Fund had a story, a column in the Wall Street Journal back on the 30th of December about Ben Nelson and what's happened to him since the health care vote.
And back on December 30th, an Erasmus and Reports poll showed that if Nelson were running for reelection that day, he would lose to the Nebraska GOP Governor David Heinemann by 61 to 30 percent.
Just three years ago, Nelson won his current term with a solid 64 percent of the vote.
It looks like that he's been destroyed if this holds up.
These kind of polling numbers.
So, yeah, I have no doubt that the Democrats are looking at these ones that are resigning.
Yeah, the Congressional Medal of Honor, they've fallen on the sword, they've gave it all for their country.
The degree of health care for everybody, it's the biggest lie and joke.
