Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
I have never in my life seen what I saw today on the front page of the Washington Post.
I have never seen this.
It has begun, folks.
Something is happening out there.
And I'm going to tell you all about all of what it is.
Also, some people are off base on this NFL business and me again today.
Not in a big way, but I want to set that straight.
So a lot to do.
It's Friday.
Let's get started here.
Live from the Southern Command in sunny South Florida.
It's open line Friday.
Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yahoo!
Rushland ball and the EIB network.
Open line Friday.
Now, this is a big day for callers because when we go to the phones, the callers determine the content of the program.
Monday through Thursday, callers have to talk about whatever it is I'm talking about.
Because uh I don't want to be bored talking about things I don't care about.
But on Friday, if you want to talk about something I don't care about, I'll fake it.
I'll fake like I care, and I will not embarrass anybody and tell them I'm faking it.
You'll never know.
800-282-2882.
If you want to be on the program, the email address L Rush Ball at EIB net.com.
73% of Republican voters say congressional Republicans have lost touch with their base.
This is a Rasmussen poll.
This should be a huge wake-up call for the moderate inside the beltway elite Republicans.
It probably won't be.
President Obama told an audience in a Democrat Party fundraiser Wednesday night that Republicans often do what they're told, but GOP voters don't think their legislators listen enough to them.
Only 15% of Republicans who plan to vote in 2012.
State primaries say the party's representatives in Congress have done a good job of representing Republican values, which would be conservative values.
Also, I think conservatives are starting to get the message that the RINOs and the Republican moderates have made an absolute shambles of the party.
Sarah Palin has broken with the party and is endorsing the conservative candidate in New York 23.
Rick Santorum has done the same thing.
The party establishment is being uh told that they are wrong and that they are on a charting a course for defeat if they continue the way they're going.
More on all this as the program unfolds before your very eyes and ears.
Interesting story in the political today, leading up to the most amazing thing I've ever seen on the front page of a major newspaper.
White House attacks worry moderate Democrats.
A White House effort to undermine conservative critics generating a backlash on Capitol Hill and not just from Republicans.
It's a mistake, said Representative Jason Altmeyer, moderate Democrat from Western Pennsylvania.
I think it's beneath the White House to get into a tit for tat with news organizations.
You couldn't use that uh phrase in the Clinton administration, by the way.
People would, you know, tit for tat think that you're but with but Obama, you can do it.
Uh Jim Moran, uh Democrat Virginia.
There's no reason to gratuitous gratuitously pee off all those companies, only he didn't say pee.
This is the these so-called moderate democrats, the story says are worried about the attacks on the Chamber of Commerce.
That they are businesses as no reason to make all those companies mad.
They are also not happy about these attacks on me and conservative talk radio and Fox News.
Now the Liberal Democrats, they like that.
They don't care, but these moderates uh say that they're not uh very hip to this.
Now, I had some people when I was talking to this story this morning, uh talking to people about this story.
Uh people said, I don't believe this for a minute.
Uh the the the moderate democrats worried about the White House attack.
Not so fast, ladies and gentlemen.
Not so fast.
The front page of the Washington Post today is unbelievable.
As you know, there's a governor election in Virginia coming up next month.
The Democrat Creedeeds is down double digits.
Here's the headline in the Washington Post.
Deeds ignored advice, White House says.
Top Democrats seek to shield Obama in case of election loss.
Sensing that victory in the race for Virginia governor is slipping away.
Democrats at the national level are laying the groundwork to blame a loss in a key swing state on a weak candidate who ran a poor campaign that failed to embrace Obama.
The White House is dumping on a candidate before he loses.
They are saying he ran a bad campaign.
He did not include Obama.
They are, they have already thrown their candidate under the bus.
The Washington Post endorsed this guy.
And that's important, folks, because, you know, whenever we endorse candidates as talk radio, and those candidates lose, uh, we're always said to have no influence.
It's all uh people get all jazzed about nothing.
Well, the Washington Post got behind this guy big time.
They have dumped on McDonald big time with lies and and uh misrepresentations about him being a caveman toward women and so forth.
Senior administration officials have expressed frustration.
Now you gotta, you gotta understand how it is that the blue dogs are gonna see this.
Folks, this this is monumental.
This story, I cannot emphasize enough what this says about the Democrat Party, what it says about Obama, what it says about his White House.
The politicals out there running all these stories about factions in the Republican Party and how the Republican Party doesn't like talk radio and the Republican Party's this the Democrat Party is falling apart.
It may not look like it, but what the message here on the front page of the Washington Post is from Obama to Democrats, I don't give a rat's rear end about you.
You support me or else.
I'll throw you under the bus as fast as I would throw Limbo or Fox News under the bus if you don't support me.
I have...
I've seen presidents after a candidate fails, sort of dump, but I have never seen this before an election.
And this whole story is just amazing to read.
Democrat strategists said that over the summer, Virginia Governor Timothy Cain offered Deeds advice on winning a statewide election.
Among other things, Cain, who runs the DNC, told Deeds that he should lay out more of his own vision and stop attacking McDonald so ferociously.
But Deeds didn't embrace the advice, according to a national Democrat strategist.
They are dumping on their own candidate.
On the front page of the Washington Post.
This is a message to every Democrat elected in Washington, House and Senate.
A senior administration official said that Deeds badly erred on several fronts, including not doing a better job of coordinating with the White House.
I understood in the beginning why there was some reluctance to run all around the state with Barack Obama, said the official who spoke on condition of anonymity because he wants to live.
You don't do that in Virginia.
But when you consider the African American turnout that they need, and then when you consider as well, they got a huge problem with surge voters, younger voters, we were just a natural for them, and they didn't want us around.
Now I've looked at some of the polling in Virginia, public policy polling, which is out of North Carolina.
Uh, they've been polling all over the country, and the Democrats remember they ran a story that Democrats say, please don't publish the results to show it how bad it is for us.
The re one of the big problems in Virginia is that there's no interest in this election in the black vote.
The black vote is not energized.
And Cree Deeds did not want Obama anywhere near him because Obama is radioactive because of this health care business.
Don't believe all these polls, the fraudulent poll from the Washington Post earlier this week, 57% want public option.
There has never been 57% for the public option, and there isn't in this poll.
It is a fraudulent poll.
A second administration official who also spoke on condition of anonymity because he wants to stay alive, said Obama Cain, and others had drawn a roadmap to victory in Virginia.
Deeds chose another path.
Folks, this is a political assassination of a Democrat gubernatorial candidate before the election.
And I think what they might be saying here also, hey, Mr. Deeds, we are prepared to secure your defeat.
Unless you bring Obama in to stump for you.
And I don't know if Obama's gonna do it this late.
They said he's gonna cut a commercial and they said he would go in there.
That's even better.
That's even better, because that will guarantee the guy loses.
Deeds' instincts are right on the money.
Keep Obama out of here.
He is not popular.
Deeds knows it.
The pollsters know it, but the White House doesn't care because all Obama cares about is Obama.
And you gotta know that when the blue dog Democrats, these so-called moderate guys, when they wake up and read this in the Washington Post, they're gonna get chills down their belt.
What are they to do?
I will explain all of that when we come back after our first prosperity timeout.
Stay with us.
All right, we just heard that the Obama ad for Cree Deeds is already on the air in parts of Virginia, which is even more curious given the Washington Post's story today, where the White House basically dumps and throws their own gubernatorial candidate overboard.
And this is an important message to all the blue dogs.
If they carry Obama's water on health care, and they lose their own races as a result, Obama will throw them over the cliff, too.
They've got a real choice to make here.
These blue dogs like to be thought of as con as fiscally conservative, not big spenders.
They're being leaned on by the White House to support Obama, the public option, this massive tax bill called a health care bill.
They cannot vote for this.
Go home and tell their people, uh, we're moderates and we're conservatives and we're fiscally responsible.
They can't do that, not after doing that.
They've got a real question to answer here, a real decision to make, because if they vote for Obama, if they carry his water here and lose their own races, Obama's gonna throw them under the bus, too.
This is a huge and worrisome signal to them.
It's all about Obama, folks, and nothing more.
Everyone else is expendable, especially so-called moderate Democrats.
That's that's why this political piece yesterday was such a joke.
It's Obama and his party splintering and tanking.
This, in fact, this is a signal to all Democrats, folks, who will lose their seats voting to support Obama's fascist agenda.
Like national health care.
He doesn't give a damn about you.
Every Democrat reading this story today is seeing Obama doesn't care about you.
He doesn't care about them, he doesn't care about their future or their constituents, and he will dump on you and blame you for losing.
So what are they to do?
They are to vote against a socialist agenda.
Here's blue dogs.
If you don't know it now, you're never gonna know it.
But let me tell you something.
You have to vote against this socialist fascist agenda because it's the right thing to do.
You are to stick with your voters on this.
You are to stick with your constituents on this.
You are to resist Obama and Pelosi and Reed.
Reed being pressured.
Funny story from CBS by a whole bunch of leftist groups for being weak and soft for uh not pushing the public option hard enough.
Here is one case for you, blue dogs, where your own political survival is in accord with the nation's survival.
You blue dog Democrats are inexorably tied to those of us who want to save this country from the direction it's headed.
So you uh have to understand here.
You vote with Obama, you lose.
He's gonna throw you under the bus anyway, whenever it's convenient.
He doesn't care a whit about you, except as far as he can use you.
Now keep in mind also, as I mentioned, the Washington Post nominated this guy, Cree Deeds.
They endorsed him over the other Democrats.
They endorsed him last Sunday for governor.
So the Post has a stake in this race, too.
Their reputation's on the line.
They got behind this guy.
They did all they could to derail McConnell or McDonald, and just as they did George Allen.
So this is going to test the credibility and strength of the Washington Post, too.
And I mention this because every time conservative talkers endorse a candidate and he or she loses, they say we're weak.
I know you blue dogs, back to you guys for a second.
I know it's easy for you to get caught up in the uh Washington big government mentality, because Washington is owned and operated by the liberal elites.
But it will not work this time to vote with your radical party leaders and then go home and pretend you're a moderate.
It will not work this time.
You will not get away with that.
You vote for this radical leftist agenda that destroys this country, as we've known it, and go home and try to say, hey, we're the same old fiscally responsible moderate won't work.
Your voters are more informed than you are about what this issue is about.
Never forget that one other point, too.
It seems to me that the uh the Democrat Party is proving to be a regional party now.
And they they like to say this about the Republicans, that we're just regional, but it's actually the Democrats.
The Democrats can only win in very liberal Northern and New England states and in um in in urban centers on the left coast.
If you look at a map of counties, red and blue, Republicans being red, Democrat blue, you will see that in terms of square footage, square acreage, square mileage of this country.
We have them outnumbered like you can't believe, but they do have pockets of cities in certain states in the Northeast, of course, in the upper Midwest and out there on the on the left coast, uh, where where they that's where their strength is.
And they're now being challenged in every part of the country.
All this nonsense about the GOP and demographics, the fact is that we're Americans.
We have always been Americans.
We do not embrace alien notions of government, socialism, cults of personality, and that's what we're faced with here.
So my point is this, folks.
Obama and the Washington Post candidate is a dud.
Obama's already pushing him over the cliff, as he will all Democrats who lose elections during his tenure in office.
And it must be said that the Post has lost its influence as well since Deeds is their candidate.
The kingmakers and the old media are no longer making kings.
They think they are, but they aren't.
Obama has done, you want the dirty little secret Obama has done great damage to the Democrat Party.
I said this months ago.
I said this prior to the election.
People, regardless of party, do not like a liar, and they don't want their country to be spat upon by their own president when he's overseas.
No matter what you think about this country, it still has a sense of fair play.
And the way Obama's going after me and the Chamber of Commerce and Fox News and uh there's a there's a sense of of it's not, it's just not fair.
We can take it.
Don't misunderstand, but I'm just telling you, the uh the uh enthrallment that people had with this guy is gone.
Now, Obama will use whatever people or party or program he can to promote himself and his own power.
He is a cult of personality, and this is how personalities, cults of personality, function.
You know, Khrushchev.
I looked this up.
Khrushchev used the phrase cult of personality to make the first official denunciation of Stalin in 1957.
He said Stalin built a cult of personality around himself.
Well, Obama has done an American version of the same thing, or he's encouraging it, which is very different from other presidents.
So should Creed Deeds lose, Obama will not accept it as a rejection of him or his ideas, but every and any Democrat victory will be seen and treated as a personal endorsement of him.
Now, this kind of self-delusion, and believe me, Obama is delusion.
He's he's delusional.
The kind of self-delusion that that he has presents great opportunities for us.
It means, among other things, that the Democrat Party has hitched its wagon to a man his who has no interest in pulling it along with him.
He's using them.
And he'll throw any of them in that party overboard as soon as they become a liability to him.
The delusion means that he is becoming increasingly out of touch with the public, and I have noticed this.
Every time I've watched him go out into a town hall or make a speech, he is he has no clue.
Or if he has a clue, he doesn't care what the American people really think about his agenda now.
He surrounds himself with paid supporters, stacked audiences, stacked questions, and lives in his delusion.
Now, this is an opportunity for us, but it's also a great danger being led by a man this delusional.
Back in second.
That would be the golden EIB mic.
As we serve humanity here simply by showing up.
Here is the ad, by the way.
This um sad Obama ad for Cree Deeds in Virginia.
And what they're trying to do is run the Obama campaign in Virginia for the guy, but McDonald keeps rising in the polls.
He got a uh double-digit lead now.
We are Americans, we're forward-looking people.
Last year, Virginia, you helped lead a movement of Americans who believed that their voices could make a difference.
That's what we need to do in this race.
That's what Creed's is committed to.
I need every one of you to get fired up once again so that we can go towards the future with Creed's leading the great Commonwealth of Virginia.
Holy cow, this is like forget deeds, vote for me.
You voted for me last November, vote for me again.
This is what I mean about narcissistic messianic complex delusional.
And this ads running in Virginia while the Washington Post has a front pager with the White House throwing this guy under the bus.
He's already defeated, and it's his fault because he didn't use Obama.
Uh this is uh this delusion means Obama is increasingly out of touch with the public.
I mentioned every time I see his town halls and get stacked audiences, stacked questions.
It's as though we uh he operates in a country a hundred percent of the people love him, except for Fox News, the Chamber of Commerce, and Rush Limbaugh.
And so we got to get rid of those fields.
Everybody else is still in love with this guy as much as he's in love with himself.
He sees no difference between what's best for him and what's best for the country.
And what I mean by that, whatever he wants in his delusional mind is in America's best interest simply by definition of his desire.
Folks, I have worked for people like this.
I have been fired by them by calling them on it.
I know this guy.
Carl Rove nailed this guy with his description.
He's the guy at cocktail party sitting there with a cigarette and a drink in his hand next to the beautiful babe, looking down on everybody as they walk in, deigning to talk to a few.
Very arrogant, the whole world's about him.
His head's getting so big now, his ears look like they fit.
Now, we, to be honest here, folks, we uh we joke about Obama's messianic complex, but he has it.
He believes his life is a moment of destiny, and I don't think that president of the United States is his ultimate aim.
I think Secretary General of the United Nations is his ultimate aim after he turns our sovereignty over to it as much as possible with this new climate bill uh that they're gonna have in Copenhagen.
I really think that's his ultimate aim is to run the world.
And I think he believes that that's what the world wants.
He's that delusional.
He believes that his life is a moment of destiny.
And this is also why he will always talk about himself.
You can see this in particular when he goes overseas.
We cringe when he attacks America's history and accomplishments and apologizes for it.
But he believes this is America as it is him.
He is American now.
Barack Obama is America.
You and I aren't.
Previous presidents aren't.
Whatever came before is irrelevant.
He is not just president.
He is America.
You can see this when he attacks the insurance companies, banks, executives, Fox News, Talk Radio, the doctors, and on and on.
He is America.
And those who question him or disagree with him are attacking not just him, but America in his mind.
The irony being that his supporters accuse us of calling people unpatriotic.
When to disagree with Obama is in essence treated as being unpatriotic.
Criticism of Obama is said to be, it's thought of as unpatriotic in his mind, because he is America.
And you see, uh, ladies and gentlemen, this is the problem with tyranny.
When a person in power believes he is more important than the nation he leads, and believes his power is derived from his own special stature and his own special existence, and not from the people, we have a dangerous situation.
So sure, creed deeds is expendable.
Rejecting deeds is not rejecting Obama.
Everybody who loses is expendable.
Everybody who wins is a ringing endorsement of Obama.
It's all about him.
I I think this is a very dangerous mentality.
It is a disastrous view for a leader of this country to have because it allows one person's ego to supplant national interests.
But this is what we have done.
Now the first popular test for Obama and the Democrats doesn't appear to be helpful to them.
Even if they win in New Jersey, even if Corzine wins, now stop and think of this.
Even if Corzine wins, this is a heavy Democrat state for decades.
It's as corrupt Democrat as Chicago is in its own ways.
Maybe more so.
If they win in New Jersey, Corzine will lose about 60% of the voters in a three-way race.
It's a three-way race, and if he wins, 60% will have voted against him.
If they lose in Virginia, all this talk about Virginia turning blue because of Obama will be so much empty rhetoric.
I uh folks, this this is just a profound thing.
Now, I uh while I'm on this subject, Michael Adina has posted something today that dovetails uh something we're gonna forget Soundbite 8 for a moment, grab soundbite number 11.
This has surfaced just today.
Obama and the Constitution, he has his doubts.
Michael Ledeen, I missed this the first time around.
Brian Lancaster at Jumping in Pools reported on Obama's college thesis, written when he was at Columbia.
The paper was called Aristocracy Reborn, and in the first ten pages, which were all that reporter Joe Klein, who wrote about it for Time Magazine was permitted to see.
Joe Klein got to see the first ten pages.
Here is part of what Obama wrote.
The Constitution allows for many things, but what it does not allow is the most revealing.
The so-called founders did not allow for economic freedom.
While political freedom is supposedly a cornerstone of the document, the distribution of wealth is not even mentioned.
While many believed that the new Constitution gave them liberty, it instead fitted them with the shackles of hypocrisy.
I don't care that it's just now surfacing, but it it it they kept it suppressed until now, but here it is showing up.
So the so-called founders, and I've how many times have you people sent me emails?
Rush, be very careful when you start saying that the President of the United States looks at the Constitution as an obstacle.
He doesn't like the Constitution.
I've said it over and over again, and now here are his own words.
The Constitution allows for many things that what it is not allow is the most revealing.
The so-called founders.
This is his uh thesis, college thesis at Columbia.
The so-called founders did not allow for economic freedom.
When political freedom supposedly a cornerstone of the document, supposedly political freedom, supposedly, a cornerstone.
The distribution of wealth is not even mentioned.
While many believed that the new Constitution gave them liberty, it instead fitted them with the shackles of hypocrisy.
Now, Ladine says, I mean, that's quite an indictment, even for an Ivy League undergrad.
I wonder if the professor, and I'd like to know who the prof was, made an appropriate marginal comment, something about historical context, about the Constitution's revolutionary status in the history of freedom and about the separation of powers in order to make the creation of any shackles as difficult as possible.
The Constitution is the most liberty promoting and freedom acknowledging document in the history of the world.
And this little boy in college, writing about it with utter disdain, and he still shares those same feelings.
And Ladine writes maybe instead of fuming about words that Rush Limbaugh never uttered, the paladins of the free press might ask the president about words that he did write.
Maybe he'd like to parse the so-called founders, for example.
I'd like to know what he thinks of those words today, and what about the rest of the thesis?
It's Michael Ledeer.
But what's the name of Ladine's book?
Find it.
Go on Amazon and find it real quick.
I want to plug it because it's agreed.
It's about what's going on in Iran and uh U.S. foreign policy.
Now, we have audio of Barack Obama saying much the same thing, only about the Supreme Court, not the Constitution.
This is from 2001, eight years ago, long after his college thesis, on an FM radio station in Chicago.
He was asked this question.
We're joined by Barack Obama, Illinois State Senator from the 13th district, senior lecturer in the law school at the University of Chicago.
And this is what Obama said.
If you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court, I think where it succeeded was to vest formal rights in previously dispossessed peoples, so that uh I would now have the right to vote.
I would now be able to sit at a lunch counter and order, and as long as I could pay for it, I'd be okay.
But the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in the society.
So the court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth.
So his college thesis, the Constitution, redistribution of wealth, is not even mentioned.
So here is who we have as our president of the United States, an anti-constitutionalist, a man who finds it an obstacle.
And is finding ways around it on purpose, unconstitutionally.
Much of what he's doing is unconstitutional, and I'm waiting for for the lawsuits to be filed by some of these people at some point.
Anyway, how's that hope and change working out for you, folks?
Ladies and gentlemen, um, Barack Obama is seriously dangerous.
To say that distribution of wealth is economic freedom is intellectually insane.
They are mutually exclus exclusive.
Economic freedom means you don't have somebody take your money and give it to somebody else.
Distribution of wealth.
And we've already done it.
How many trillions have we transferred from workers to nonworkers in the war on poverty, in the Great Society, and all of LBJ's programs?
We are redistributing wealth like crazy.
How many Americans note Pay income taxes.
It's approaching 47%.
Where has this guy been?
We're already redistributing wealth, whether the Constitution addresses it or not.
And I don't know if he's read the Federalist Pers.
Because the founders talked about this all over the place.
Here is Thomas Jefferson in a letter to Joseph Milligan, April 6th, 1816, to take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his father's has acquired too much in order to spare to others who or whose fathers have not exercised equal industry and skill is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.
So, Mr. President, our founders were brilliant.
They didn't put redistribution of wealth in there because they didn't believe in it.
Thomas, that's why they are so-called founders to him.
Here is Thomas Jefferson's first inaugural address.
March 4th, 1801, a wise and frugal government shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned.
This is the sum of good government.
Thomas Jefferson's so-called founder.
Thomas Jefferson, Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but only those specifically enumerated.
So So-called founder.
John Adams, a defense of the constitutions of governments of the United States of America, 1787.
The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it.
Anarchy and tyranny commence.
We're there, folks.
If thou shalt not covet and thou shalt not steal, were not commandments of heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society before it can be civilized or made free.
I'm gonna have to I have to translate this.
I have to translate this.
Okay, all right.
The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God.
Does that need translating?
All right.
And that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it.
Anarchy and tyranny commence.
Translate that?
Okay.
The moment what is yours can be taken by someone else when your stuff is not your stuff anymore.
When your stuff becomes somebody else's stuff, anarchy and tyranny commence.
When your property is no longer your property, tyranny and anarchy commence.
In other words, it's over.
If thou shalt not covet, and thou shalt not steal, those are two of the Ten Commandments.
And I do I need to translate that.
Thou shalt not covet.
That means you shall not also want Monica Lewinsky because she is Bill Clinton's.
Thou shalt not steal, meaning you shall not, uh Barack Obama shall not be able to get away with what he is doing, and that is stealing people's worth, their work, and their industry or their money.
If those two commandments were not commandments of heaven, i.e., God, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society, meaning they must be part of any society's culture and morality before that society can be civilized or made free.
Founder, so-called founder, John Adams.
Barack Obama says these guys didn't talk about wealth distribution.
They most certainly did.
He just Doesn't know, wasn't taught, or knows about it and is lying about it.
How's that hope and change working for you?
No, it was 13, and welcome back.
By the way, uh Michael Ledeen's book is Accomplice to Evil, Iran and the War Against the West.
And it is a superb read on what is actually going on and what we actually face in the Middle East, particularly with Iran.
So we'll put it up at rushlimbow.com so you can link to it too.
Accomplice to Evil, Iran and the War Against the West.
