Time Text
Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24 7 Podcast.
These are dark days for our nation.
Ladies and gentlemen.
What a stack today.
What an what?
Obama's America.
It's getting difficult to chronicle it all.
It's tough enough learning about it all during show prep, and then it's even more difficult talking to you about it.
But talk about it, I must.
And so here we go.
Great to have you with us, the EIB Network in Rushland.
Bobby here behind the golden EIB microphone telephone number.
If you want to be on the program, it's 800-282-2882, the email address.
Well, they're just going nuts out there over the CBO score of the Senate health.
It's not a bill yet.
It's draft.
It's bogus.
The whole thing is bogus.
It's not so taxing private insurers even more, taxing certain health care policies, taxing medical devices, slashing Medicare, and still millions of people be uninsured.
That's the Senate Democrat plan.
Right on, baby.
Right oh, right oh, right on.
Now the taxes, get this.
This is the Senate bill.
The taxes and the cuts.
The tax increases and the Medicare cuts kick in immediately, but the plan itself doesn't kick in until 2013.
They do this for two reasons.
It makes the 10-year projection look better than it would be had the program kicked in when the tax increases and the Medicare cuts kick in.
And the people are not going to realize how awful the program is until after Obama's hopefully re-elected in his mind in uh in 2012.
Because there's going to be a revolt.
There's going to be a revolt once this hits.
And so they're going to delay the actual implementation of the health care plan till 2013, but the tax cuts or increases on Medicare cuts happen immediately.
And this isn't even the worst of it.
The liberals want more.
They want a faster government takeover.
They want higher taxes.
They want coverage for illegal aliens.
Folks, if this is not fascism, then what the hell is it?
This sure as hell is not democracy.
You know, I said this once before, and they went nuts out there in the drive-by media, state control media, and their websites.
In many ways, this is a bloodless coup.
In many ways, this is a non-military coup.
That is, there is no constitutional authority for the exercise of this kind of power over personal health decisions and private property.
You have a single Congress trying to ram through permanent changes to our country by hook and by crook before the public understands the magnitude of this.
And of course, not a word from the liberal media, the state controlled media.
Instead, they cheer all of it.
These are dark days for our nation.
Now we have here this uh I think this is political.
Baucus scores big with CBO.
The drive-by is our orgasmic over the CBO report.
Listen to this montage we put together.
Democratic leaders are cheering a report that shows that the Senate Finance Committee's health care bill actually saves money.
The budget deficit would actually be reduced by 81 billion dollars if the plan were enacted.
This is not only paid for, but it actually, according to the Congressional Budget Office, this proposal reduces the deficit.
A favorable review from the Congressional Budget Office.
The Democrats got good news on health care.
The Congressional Budget Office said in effect that the Senate Finance Committee's bill is fully paid for.
This news from the Congressional Budget Office is the biggest boost the White House has had in weeks.
Folks, I I I can I cannot emphasize enough how totally fraudulent this is.
There is no legislative language.
The CBO scored nothing.
It is a mirage.
It's a score of a draft of a bill.
There is no legislation.
They scored nothing.
And it's not even an official score.
They're even admitting that it's an estimate.
It's an estimate of a draft.
Somebody got to the CBO on this.
After the boondoggle that they reported on the House side, don't forget the CBO guy was brought up to the White House not long ago, Uh, where he was uh he got his mind right uh with uh with President Obama.
I mean, this is this is the Democrats, as usual, cannot be honest about a single thing.
They are trying to pull a fast one.
The score of this bill is a sham.
There is no legislative language, I just pull it out of thin air, and of course the media went right along with them, hook and sinker.
They are trying to con us.
They're in the midst of running a giant con game.
This is they're not gonna reduce the deficit, is not paid for.
It's gonna cost for what government program ever pays for itself, what government program ever has, what government program ever comes in less than the projected cost?
What government program has actually worked?
I mean, these guys ought to be left out of town simply by the knowledge that the American people over a collective number of years, what are they playing now?
On what?
Oh, they're playing video of me on PMS NBC refusing to get a flu shot.
And notice, notice, yes, I that's yes, notice.
Notice that they are using video of 85 pounds ago.
I don't know why I'm sure they're I'm they're probably celebrating I'm not gonna take a flu shot.
That's right.
I think they are worried about my hell, but why in the world?
I thought I was irrelevant.
I thought I had no influence with anybody anymore.
I mean I know 40% of the parents don't want it for their kids and so forth.
Um at any rate, the the the politico has like four pages here of orgasmic reporting on the CBO score of a non-existent piece of legislation.
My friends, the finance committee hadn't even voted this out yet.
They're gonna do that on Tuesday.
They can't there's nothing to score.
It's a draft.
And by the way, last night Boehner was on uh was on Fox, he was on Greta's show, and he said, and he was mad, he said that there are 75 phantom amendments added to the uh to the baucus health care bill by Democrat leaders without the knowledge of the Republican members of the committee.
This was after the draft was voted on and passed.
They added 75 amendments, didn't tell a Republicans after the that this is this is that's why I say this certainly isn't democracy.
I I don't know what this is.
It's gotta be fascism.
This is Republicans left out of this.
Bahner was fit to be tight last night.
75 amendments after the draft was voted out of the committee.
The Republicans were not even told about it.
Uh and you know, Maynard is trying to to call attention to this and to add to the mix Bob Dole has joined with with Puff Dashel here to say we gotta get this done and we are gonna get this done.
Bob Dole, 86 years old now, says there will be a signing ceremony for a health care reform bill either late this year or early next.
I am convinced Dole has no clue what's going on.
I don't think Dole has the slightest, he's just from this bid that the generation where we gotta get a bill.
Somebody proposed a bill, we gotta get a bill.
Got to pass the bill.
What's in the bill?
Doesn't matter.
We're here to pass bills.
We pass bills, we write bills, we sign bills, we don't read them, but we uh we sign them.
Uh and we vote on them.
We gotta get a bill.
What's in the bill?
I don't know.
All I know is Congress is doing it, so it must be good.
I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, by the way, holding that view.
Dole spoke with reporters after an hour-long speech at a health care reform summit, sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City.
He told the group that he and former Senator Tom Dashell, Howard Baker, and George Mitchell.
Now let's see here.
Dashell disgraced Democrat, tax cheat, voted out of office by his own people.
Howard Baker, uh, Republican moderate middle of the rotor.
George Mitchell, the most partisan Democrat in Washington when he was the Senate majority leader.
They're gonna issue a statement later today urging Congress to enact health care reform as soon as possible.
Here's the statement.
Congress could be close, it's from the statement.
Uh Congress could be close to passing comprehensive health reform.
The American people have waited decades, And if this moment passes us by, it may be decades more before there's another opportunity.
The current approaches suggested to Congress are far from perfect, but they do provide some basis on which Congress can move forward, and we urge the joint leadership to get together for the sake of America.
And he blamed partisanship for the failure to produce a bill so far.
The dem Senator Dole.
Senator Dole.
Partisanship.
The Republicans can't stop it, Senator.
This is what's so maddening.
What are you doing, Senator?
The Republicans can't stop this partisanship.
Over in the House side, and I've got the story somewhere here in the snack.
150 Democrats still have jitters about the House version of this thing.
Republicans can't stop partisanship.
Dole repeated his opposition to a public option for health insurance, which he said would he's out there urging passage of the public option while he repeats his opposition to it.
He said would drive private companies out of b uh.
Jeez.
Do what?
It's this is not possible to make sense of this without saying something that I really don't want to say here about Senator Dole.
I've just I'll leave it to Democrats to make fun of people for their like Corzine and uh is running running ads, is a governor race there in New Jersey making fun of his opponents' wait.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, we've got the we got the we got the relevant audio from from that ad.
Dole repeated his opposition to a public option for health insurance, which he said would drive private companies out of business.
He said he's also worried about paying for the cost of health care reform, which is estimated at 800 billion to one trillion over ten years.
Then how can you say that and then join with these Democrats and urge that we get a bill?
Folks, it's tough enough to read this.
It is doubly tough to tell you about it and then restrain myself and remain civil.
So I'm gonna take a prosperity time out here.
Yes, Snurdly, I know about the kids singing on CNN, and I'm gonna get to that in the next hour.
It's gonna be at the top of the next hour.
The only thing I'm wondering about that is, did CNN fact check the lyrics?
They fact-checked a Saturday night line skit.
Here you have CNN, which, by the way, as I pointed out yesterday, there's a Fox news show on at 3 a.m. called Red Eye, and has a larger audience than Campbell Brown has at 8 p.m. the night before.
Stop and think of that.
The zombies who are up at three in the morning watching television are in greater number than the lunatics watching CNN at 8 o'clock.
But this was not on today.
This is Wolf Blitzer's situation where they bring these kids out there, and they start singing this thing to Obama, this kid's from this Ron Clark school down in Atlanta.
Uh and the lyrics are that the I mean the lyrics.
Well, we just we'll get to it in the next hour, but I just want to they I know they didn't fact check the lyrics and songs.
Oh, no, of course.
Can you believe this?
And now Newsweek.
Newsweek magazine.
We're all socialists now.
Uh the case for pulling the plug on Granny.
They now have a big spread on was Russia better off red?
Was I kid kid you not?
A kid, you're not.
I'm not making it up.
I am not making it up.
I couldn't make up stuff this crazy.
Is Russia better off?
Was it better off red?
And they've got statistics on life expectancy, illness, income, and so forth.
Can you not?
I'm dead serious.
Kobo Hall, Detroit.
Listen to this.
And we had we had audio out of out of there yesterday.
We're going to repeat that.
We got new audio today from Ken Rogulski of our affiliate there, WJR.
Uh Detroit Free Press Cobo, a scene of desperation.
Social service agencies are bracing for more troubles.
The economic tsunami washing over Metro Detroit swept its casualties to the doors at Kobo Center on Wednesday in the form of 35,000 people so desperate for help with mortgage and utility bills that threats were made, fights broke out, and people were nearly trampled.
Some this is this this is Obama's America.
This is what happens with socialism.
You think these are long lines now?
These stupid these brainwashed kids in that song and CNN talk about the long, long lines that are out there.
They hey you people haven't seen long lines at the emergency room until Obamacare gets implemented.
Some were treated by emergency medical workers on site as they showed up to pick up Obama money.
It was one of the most dramatic signs to date of how deeply joblessness and the home foreclosure crisis have pushed people from the lower and middle ends of the economic scale to seek help wherever they can.
City officials said a total of 65,000 people over the past few days have gotten applications due next Wednesday for a share of 15.2 million dollars in federal stimulus money to help people avoid foreclosure or quickly rebound from homelessness.
But get this.
Ultimately, as few as 3,500 people may receive help.
3500 they think they got riots now.
3,500 people out of 65,000 filling out applications for this.
Let's go to the audio sound bites.
This week, here's a portion of Ken Regolski reporting on WJR in Michigan.
Two people here in line for Obama cash.
Why are you here?
To get some money.
What kind of money?
Obama money.
Where's it coming from?
Obama.
And where did Obama get it?
I don't know.
His fashion.
I don't know.
I don't know where he got it from.
But he's giving it to us to help us.
We love him.
That's why we voted for.
Obama!
Come out!
Now, yes, it I think it's I think it's fine to laugh.
I I think it's frankly fine to laugh.
It's freaking sad.
Obama giving us money from his stash.
That's why we love him.
Barack Hussein Obama.
Mmm, mm, mmm.
Here's the report from yesterday just to refresh your memory.
Did you get an application to fill out your?
I sure did.
Felt it out, and I am waiting to see what the results are going to be.
Will you know today how much money you're getting?
No, I won't, but I'm waiting for a phone call.
Where's the money coming from?
I believe it's coming from the um city of Detroit or the state.
Where do they get it from?
Some funds that was forgiven by Obama.
And where did Obama get the funds?
Oh, Obama might have gotten the funds from um.
I have no idea.
Tell you the truth, he's the president.
In downtown Detroit, Ken Rogolski WJR News.
Now let me let me put this in perspective.
This is the model citizen in Barack Obama's vision.
These people are model citizens.
These are the people who would be wealthy and rich today were it not for the fact that the achievers of this society, since this country was founded, stole everything they had.
And so Obama looks at these people as victims of an unjust and immoral country, and by God, he's gonna make sure that they think he's making it all good for them.
And they all do.
Dumb, uninformed, shockingly, saddeningly stupid, the model citizen for Barack Obama and the uh the Democrat Party.
Here's an interesting story.
This is from Ba-Ba-Ba-Ba.
Daily Mail, UK benefits wrecked the British work ethic.
New study claims.
Really, they needed a study for this.
The stigma that once went with claiming benefits rather than working for a living has been lost.
A study is claimed.
The work ethic that inspired successive generations has ebbed away in the face of the welfare state.
Over the past decade, each generation has seen more and more people milking the benefit system, which has sapped their will to work.
The research from the Center for Economic Performance said the findings come at a time when uh both major parties have committed themselves to cutting the numbers of people who live on incapacity benefit.
There are 2.6 million adults who claim the handout meant for the sick and incapable, with around 20% thought to be fully able but unwilling to work.
The journal centerpiece, the report in this journal said a decline in the work ethic induced by the expansion of the welfare state is key to understanding European unemployment.
No kidding.
Well, duh.
And guess where we're headed?
We're headed in exactly the same reason and direction.
Not only with the welfare state, uh health care, all of it.
And it's just, it's just a shame it's all being done on purpose.
Get this.
This is from um Houston Chronicle.
17 million dollars in federal stimulus money is being pumped into Houston area social service agencies to prevent homelessness.
I mean, here it all comes around again.
We have been through this.
What cures homelessness is jobs.
And jobs, the true cure, is the one thing that Obama is standing in the way of being created.
By design, we'll be back.
Sit tight.
And welcome back, ladies and gentlemen.
Rushly and boy having more fun than should be allowed to have 17 million dollars in federal stimulus money being pumped into Houston social service agencies to prevent homelessness.
Local agencies say that they've been helping more people who are homeless for the first time and more people who are on the verge of homelessness with fewer dollars.
The stimulus will uh help fill the gap agencies uh say it's the only thing it's keeping people from homelessness, says Gerald Eckert, the social services manager.
Is anybody ever heard of jobs?
Has anybody ever heard of the concept of jobs?
Do you think people would by the way the story goes on to say that charitable contributions are down, which is why they need the stimulus money?
Well, do you think that if more people were working, if they had jobs, do you and maybe a reduction in taxes, do you think maybe they would have some disposable income to help the needy?
See, this is part of the plan, folks.
Your charitable deductions are about to be vamoost.
No charitable deductions are going to be allowed before long under Obama, and that's part of the plan.
Replace charity with government.
But again, I ask something I know this is very cold hearted to say, and I know this is easy for me to say, and I know that it's insensitive as hell for me to say, but maybe if people had jobs, they wouldn't need charity.
Is this what the stimulus was supposed to be for?
You think the average person thought it was for charity?
I.e.
welfare?
You think that's what people thought the stimulus bill was?
More news from WJR Detroit.
First, listen to this.
Audio sound by one again, Mr. Broadcast Engineer.
You are going to hear two citizens in this report, Ken Brigalski, WJR in Detroit, two citizens lining up for their share of Obama's stash.
These people are model citizens in Barack Obama's America.
Why are you here?
To get some money.
What kind of money?
Obama money.
Where's it coming from?
Obama.
And where did Obama get it?
I don't know, his stash.
I don't know.
I don't know where he got it from.
But he giving it to us to help us.
We love him.
That's why we voted for Obama!
Here's the latest from um Detroit.
You know what Detroit is?
Detroit is going through their version of Hurricane Katrina without the levees breaking.
Where's FEMA?
Less moisture, no levies to break, but Hurricane Katrina has hit Detroit.
Listen to this.
Scam artists.
I kind of I'm sorry, I can't help laughing at this either.
Scam artists are charging unsuspecting Detroiters $20 for bogus applications.
You have to fill out an application.
65,000 people have shown up for applications.
The applications for whatever money they're going to get has to be turned in by next Wednesday.
Homeless and low-income residents had the opportunity to get free applications for homelessness prevention and rapid rehousing program stimulus money.
The response was overwhelming.
About 65,000 people trying to get one of 25,000 available applications.
Most were turned away empty handed.
Now I wonder what those people got turned away thinking it was Obama's stash that Obama was given them money and all of a sudden they get turned down.
Of course, they won't blame Obama.
They're going to blame Detroit.
They're going to blame whoever was inside Cobo Hall handing these things out.
So scammers are preying upon those not fortunate enough to get an application.
Those not fortunate enough to get an application.
So the scam artists are standing outside Cobo Hall charging $20 for a fake application.
Genuine applications are either yellow or white with a blue box located at the bottom of the form.
Copies of the applications are considered invalid and will not be accepted.
What a nightmare.
This is what you get with socialism.
Nobody gets anything.
And those who get whatever don't get very much, period.
Because socialism kills the engine of production, and we're witnessing it happen right before our very eyes in our own nation.
These are dark days, folks.
Just cringe.
And get this.
As you know, big climate change hubbub going on in Copenhagen in December, and the EU president over there is really dumping on Obama.
He in effect said if he thinks he was embarrassed over this Olympic vote, wait till he finds out what happens to him if he can't bring the United States into this agreement.
It's going to be the most embarrassing thing of his presidency, bar none.
So they're already threatening little Obama from across the pond here on this climate thing.
But they're already having a climate meeting in Bangkok, which is in Thailand, which also is known for the most number of prostitutes per capita of any city in the world.
So it's appropriately named Bangkok.
There are plenty of needy countries at the U.N. climate talks in Bangkok that make the case they need financial assistance to adapt to the impacts of global warming.
Everybody's in need of assistance.
Everybody around the world.
The world.
The world has turned into New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
Now wait, you haven't heard the best part of this one.
The Saudis are over there.
The Saudi oil finance minister guy is over in Bangkok.
They are leading a behind-the-scenes campaign during these talks they plan to be at Copenhagen.
They are demanding behind closed doors that oil-producing nations like them get special financial assistance if a new climate agreement calls for substantial reductions in the use of oil.
Now the Saudis, uh, what is it?
Um what is the number here?
Saudi Arabia would lose $19 billion a year starting in 2012 under a new climate agreement.
The region would lose much more, but Saudi Arabia lose 19 billion, and they want that made up.
Now I don't know what leverage they're going to use.
But the oil that they're pumping now, and don't forget, um, well, Al Qaeda was spawned there.
Nineteen of those, what, 17 of the 19 hijackers were, you know, folks.
This is like George Soros asking for aid and assistance if one of his currency scams doesn't work.
So it's just, it's it's it is literally insane.
Everywhere you look, it is just difficult to maintain any sanity about anything going on.
And when you realize that in our own country, we've got just as many lunatic Democrats running the show and they can't be stopped.
They can't be stopped until the 2010 elections.
Now, Carl Rove has a piece on health care today in the Wall Street Journal.
I want to read a few paragraphs to you, because his headline is the GOP is winning the health care debate.
Passing health care reform could be harmful to the health of congressional Democrats.
Just look at how Obama's standing has fallen as he's pushed for reform.
According to Fox News surveys, the number of independents who oppose health care reform hit 57% at the end of last month, up from 33% in July.
Independents are generally a quarter of the vote in off-year Congressional elections.
Among college graduates, opposition to health care reform is now 50%.
While only 33% support it, according to a September 24th poll from Gallup.
College graduates are slightly more than a quarter of the off-year electorate.
Among seasoned citizens, opposition to Obamacare hit 63% in last month's Economist Ugov poll.
But the number from that poll that should spook Democrats is this 47% of seniors said they strongly oppose health care reform.
Just 27% strongly support it.
Seniors are the biggest consumers of health care, and their family members will probably take their concerns seriously.
Seniors will cast about 20% of the midterm votes in 2010.
The trend lines uh behind these numbers is that voters are turning away from Democrats.
That Democrats don't care.
They seriously don't care.
They've got to have some plan to deal with this.
Because I s folks, I I I you know, I I just don't believe they're just gonna sit there and willingly allow themselves to lose their majority in the House and Senate.
You know they've got to have some kind of uh maybe they don't believe these numbers.
I know well, they look it they if they're then that when if they're in that kind of denial, if they don't believe the numbers, if they're taking their own polls and they're rigging them and believe in those numbers, then fine.
But I've I've just uh I'm running out of ways uh to express my incredulity in civil ways.
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, and uh great to have you here, Rush Limbaugh behind the golden EIV microphone serving humanity simply by showing up.
Ladies and gentlemen, I, your host, have hijacked medicine.
I, your irrelevant without any power whatsoever, according to all of the wizards of SMART in the state controlled media have hijacked medicine.
This report from this afternoon on PMS NBC, Dr. Nancy, uh Dr. Nancy Snyderman said this about an upcoming segment while showing video of me 85 pounds ago.
Why does one popular radio talk show host not want to get his flu shot?
Uh, when did medicine get hijacked by politics?
This whole swine flu thing is political, Dr. Snyderman.
Michael Fomento in the New York Post today confirming my instincts, there is no epidemic, except there is every year.
There's a flu epidemic every year, but there is no swine flu.
The epidemic is in the media.
Dr. Snyderman, don't you realize that every segment you do on your show is political, including pushing the notion that it is none of your business, by the way, that people must get a flu shot.
Here is how her report went.
Reporting on me, hijacking medicine.
Rush Limbaugh's take on the H1N1 vaccine.
Now you've got Kathleen Sibelius saying you must take the pig flu vaccine.
You must take it.
Screw you, Miss Sibelius.
I am not going to take it precisely because you're now telling me I must.
Outrageous.
If I could make the spin higher than five, I would, but my thermometer would break.
Totally crazy.
Are you not going to put on your seatbelt?
Are you not going to take your anti-hypertensives?
Are you not going to do what people suggest for you to do?
Just to take care of yourself, Mr. Limbaugh.
This is not a conspiracy.
These are doctors and scientists who donated hours of their lives dedicated themselves to trying to make people like you well.
It's a vaccine that works.
What silliness.
And my concern is that people listen to you and won't get well.
No, they'll stay well.
They won't get sick.
People like you and your network are polluting this country with drivel and bilge.
People like you are scaring the hell out of people needlessly each and every day.
There are medical experts who will not take the vaccine.
But that's not the point.
Mine was not a medical point.
Dr. Snyderman.
Mine was rooted in liberty and freedom.
And I, Kathleen Sabilious is not a doctor, snurdly.
Don't tell me the the woman.
Oh, and this kid video coming up in CNN, you know how the thing starts?
They do the Sabilus cough into the forearm.
That's how they start this thing.
She's not a doctor, and she's telling me I must.
When there's no law requiring me to do it, we have seatbelt laws.
We have helmet laws.
But we don't have a pig flu law yet.
Outrageous.
Silly?
No, I'm just independently minded.
I'm not a conformist, and I do not respond to media inspired plagues or panics.
And besides, Miss Snyderman, consult your own network.
I don't have any power.
Nobody listens to me.
The Republicans don't listen to me.
My audience, they listen, but they don't do what I say.
Your network is reporting been reporting this for two weeks now.
I'm grab a phone call.
Otherwise.
This stack is depressing me.
And I still got to do this stupid kid song.
That's still coming up.
I delayed that to the second hour so I wouldn't destroy the whole show, at least my mood.
Oh, geez.
Uh kid song.
But it was Monday.
It wasn't it wasn't yesterday.
The kid song was uh was Monday, but it happened on CNN.
It took two days for people to discover it.
Okay, who's uh who wants to go first?
Donnie in Fort Lauderdale.
I'm glad you called.
Welcome to the uh EIB network.
Hi, Rush.
Thanks for taking my call.
I'm one of your phantom listeners, I guess, so I'm a phantom caller.
Uh Phantom Caller, and by the way, uh, what are you gonna do?
You gonna take the pig flu vaccine or not?
No, absolutely and I have a nine-year-old son who's not who will not take it as well.
Uh well, is that because of me?
Uh no, I actually have a brain, so I kind of made the decision on my Well, that would put you a couple steps ahead of Dr. Snyderman.
She has a brain, but it's numbed.
Well, maybe you should get an MRI to confirm that.
Uh I'm not paying for it.
No, no.
Obamacare will.
But I called to talk to you about the one sector in the economy creating jobs last week when we got that dismal 263,000 job losses, and that's health care.
And about the 25% cut to physicians in uh the Senate Finance Committee bill that had been proposed uh that had been scored by the CBO.
And I wanted to bring up a point about Adam Smith's invisible hand of uh cap in capitalism.
Those physicians, the best and the brightest, are going to pack up their bags and they're gonna move to Costa Rica, to India, to wherever it is where we have this growing trend toward medical tourism.
I have a story here.
That's right up the alley of your comment.
And it's from all places, CNN.
So I know nobody has seen this yet.
So let me but I'm surprised it made it on the CNN website.
The headline, doctors make more cash selling clothes on eBay.
The highlights of this story, there's an Iowa doctor started a second career as selling clothes on eBay while she was home with her twins last year.
She made more money online, 120,000 dollars than in her medical practice.
Now, how sad is that?
This is uh Dr. Jennifer Lichtig.
Uh she examines patients at the Lynn Community Care Health Center in Cedar Rapids.
