Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 Podcast.
Hey, how's that hope and change working out for you here, folks?
Uh, from the State Control Associated Press, despite predictions that the Great Recession is running out of steam, the House is taking up emergency legislation this week to help the millions of Americans who see no immediate end to their economic misery.
We got to extend unemployment benefits.
The misery uh is being compounded all over the place.
Greetings, folks.
Great to have you back, and great to be back here after a great weekend.
We'll tell you about it in a few moments.
Lots going on today.
Telephone number 800-282-2882, the email address Lrushbo at EIBNet.com, Andrew Breitbart at uh BigGovern.com may have done it again.
You remember that NEA phone call uh that uh it was back in August on the 21st to the 25th, and uh it it featured basically a coordination uh from the White House to the National Endowment for the Arts uh to promote Obama's health care and and on parts of his uh domestic agenda.
Uh one of the artists on that call got hold of Breitbart uh and in and said they're turning the National Endowment for the Arts and uh WW.serve.gov, the latest website out of the White House into political instruments.
And there are four pieces written on this at BigGovernment.com.
But what r all it really exposes up till now is that the NEA was lying about their coordination with the Obama White House on spreading propaganda.
This is the thing that George Will wrote a column on.
Uh well, actually, he had a comment on this week.
It said on that there's some calls uh some laws were broken in this call.
Um, and then after some attention was focused on this um, they uh they announced that the National Endowment for the Arts Director of Communications, Yossi Sargent, uh had been reassigned.
It's it's uh spelled sergeant uh pronounces uh Sargon.
They said he was fired, but actually just reassigned.
Now a week later, George Will wrote a Washington Post column on this, and uh understandably a lot of people are infuriated about the politicization of the NEA and turning it into an Obama campaign.
I don't know why anybody is surprised about this.
Folks, the the the private sector of this country is being gobbled up like Pac-Man on steroids.
And the idea of the Obama administration be using some left-wing agency like the NEA to spread his domestic uh propaganda is not a shock.
There hasn't been any evidence up till now, though, of Obama being involved in it, just the NEA, but that is until today.
Now, the uh the BigGovernment.gov website has full audio and a full transcript.
It's 44 pages.
There are 25 different audio sound bites.
We're putting together a couple of key elements of the uh of the sound bites from this page, and we hope to have it in the next hour.
But the transcript and the full audio at Biggovern dot is it dot com or dot org?
Now I'm having a metal block.
Biggovernment.com, biggovernment.com.
The the uh apparently the full transcript here shows the White House orchestrating this through a woman named Buffy Wicks with the White House Office of Public Engagement.
Now Buffy Wicks works under Valerie Jarrett, who is at the right hand of Barack Obama the Almighty.
Also in the call, orchestrating service in the name of Obama to the NEA.
You gotta go out and serve, you gotta advance the agenda in service, the name of Obama, a guy named Neil Abernathy, or Nell Abernathy, director of outreach of the Corporation of National and Community Service, which is the independent agency that is the parent of the President's United We Serve initiative.
Now, they they got rid of Yossi Sargent, they threw him under the bus, they reassigned him.
But what what happens is they're trying to cover up by getting rid of this guy, they're trying to cover up the fact the White House is involved in using the NEA to spread Obama propaganda.
Uh And as George Will has speculated, there have to be laws being violated here.
The uh the White House and Valerie Jarrett admit that by reassigning Yossi that something was wrong, and then by Tanamount uh admission, a ten amount admission by their action.
But the White House, it turns out, according to Breitbart's website, is in charge of the call, has ties to Acorn even.
Which we know that WW.serve.gov we mentioned last week.
All it is is a uh is an end run now that Acorn's in trouble, serve.gov.
Uh simply, if you call in there, if you go if you go to their website, they'll redirect you to various front community organizations, all tied to the White House, designed to spread uh the Obama agenda.
And that is Buffy Wicks babe, who works very closely with Valerie Jarrett, and there's nothing she's doing that Obama doesn't know about.
Buffy Wicks organized the Walmart boycotts over the years, which were shakedowns.
Buffy Wicks used Acorn to help protest Walmart.
Uh the I mean, the the legal and political scrutiny here is gonna be damning if uh if if people go look at this.
I don't expect the drive-by's in the state-controlled media to uh to pick this up, but it's it's just the latest drop.
Buffy Wicks, the direct deputy director, the White House Office of Public Engagement.
She is key to all this because previously the only person isolated was an NEA, National Endowment for the Arts underling.
But now there's a key White House person in Valerie Jarrett's office, heard on the phone calls, orchestrating artists to go out and do it for Obama.
Now, this is a clear violation of the law, and there's audio, the tapes of the calls are there.
There's it's a huge posting, 44 pages, 25 uh uh audio audio sound bites.
And this is just the latest in the uh video tapes with the uh the pimp and the prostitute running in and exposing acorn uh for what they are.
Now, the White House central to this call, the White House central to this operation, according to uh Breitbart's big government.com.
Um there's also a bunch of pro-Obama art that was written for this and drawn and created, and that came from the phone call from Buffy Wicks to all these artists who are being urged to go out and win one for Obama.
Uh it's uh, you know, they it's it's it's it's pretty damning, and it's uh it's much too uh large and complicated here to uh to expose it all about here on the radio show.
But we are putting together some of the key audio of the phone call from Buffy Wicks, who works right there with Valerie Jarrett.
So, in a nutshell, uh what you have here is the White House using the NEA to more or less demand that they publicly support Obama and his health care and his agenda, and that the NEA gets all their grant money from the federal government.
Um and they were threatened here that vaguely that money might stop.
They were they were asked to to produce some pro-Obama artwork.
And I'm thinking, why wouldn't they already be doing that?
That's that's uh that's what they do.
So it's it's uh big uh now I'm being told it's a different website, bigHollywood uh.breitbart.com.
Anyway, go to bigHollywood.breitbart.com or biggovernment.com, one of the two places, and you'll find uh everything, everything about this.
You know, Stephanopoulos probably thought he was getting tough on the president by quibbling over did you see this on on this week yesterday of whether a tax is a tax, and we had to go through parsing the word is under Clinton.
Well, it depends on what the word is means.
What uh now and the way to understand that Obama doesn't think a tax is a tax is all money is his.
For whatever his agenda needs, it's his anyway.
He's just gonna keep more of it rather than letting you get back some of what they've taken from what you uh from what you earn.
So we got audio soundbites of Stephanopoulos, and by the way, Howard Kurtz, Obama did not break through.
He did not break through on these five Sunday appearances.
Uh it just didn't work for him out there.
And so, because of that, the uh the the state-controlled media once again focusing on me and focusing on the uncivil.
Right wing media in this country.
Now, I have I for I have a funny story to tell you.
We went to Washington for the week, and Catherine and I went up to Washington for the weekend of the Redskins and Rams uh yesterday at FedEx Field, and we flew up the night before, flew up Saturday afternoon because we're going to have dinner with Catherine's brother up there, uh, who lives there, and we stayed at the Hey Adams, which is the Toesucker Hotel.
I mean, that that's where Dick Morris on the phone getting toast sucked while talking to Clinton while he was getting a BJ from Lewinsky at the uh, or getting a Lewinsky at the uh at the same time.
And you can see that through the trees, you can sort of see the White House uh through there.
So I guess it's about five, 5:30 in the afternoon, and I'm looking out the window, and there's a church right across the street, and the church bells start ringing, and the doors to the church open, and a bride and groom walk out.
The bride, uh the groom rather, is a uh is a marine.
And the wedding party comes out, and the wedding party then darts into the park across the street, I guess to go get photos taken.
So we were told when we checked in, by the way, the primary bar and restaurant here is closed because there's a wedding reception.
So, well, thanks for telling us that when we checked in.
But the downstairs bar called off the record is open.
Oh, okay, so we'll go there.
So we figured that the wedding we saw, the Marine coming out of the church and his bride was the wedding at the Hey Adams, the reception.
So anyway, the brother shows up, we head down to the off-the-record bar.
I guess we get there at 6:30 or 7.
And after we're there about an hour, this group of people, all black, six or five or six of them, all decked out in white, walk in and sit down in a corner and start eating.
After they've been there ten minutes, I get up, have to go to the bathroom.
The leader of the group stands up and says, Are you Rush Limbaugh?
And I said, Yes, sir.
Ho-ho, my biggest day of my life, getting to meet you.
He's the band leader playing at the wedding reception.
He's the leader of the band.
In fact, I got the name of the band.
Let me pull a business card out of here.
Uh the name of the band was uh Just Us Band and Show featuring aka King Snake, Robert Jones.
I guess Robert joins, and King Snake is who approached me.
I it's hard to hear, and there he gave me his name and I couldn't hear it.
But he said he was a big fan, and he invited us up to hear him play.
I said, We can't, we can't do that.
I mean, we're it's a wedding.
Well, he said, come up in the second set.
Everybody be liquored up, nobody will know you're there.
Just come come on up in the second set.
So we said, thanks, and no thanks.
Um, very nice for the offer, but um, you know, I love the way you guys are fueling up here for your performance because they're in the in the off-the-record bar, they're chowing down.
And so we went back up to the uh the hotel suite to have dinner with Catherine and her brother, and about 10.30, the brother says, You know, I gotta go.
And I said, fine.
Katie, let's go down that wedding.
Let's go down that reception.
Well, let's go down there.
So she said, okay.
So we went down, and we happened to walk in, and the uh the band was taking a break, or they were just about to end a break.
And we walk in, and and uh I said, look, we gotta go say hi to the band.
They invite us up here.
And she said, No, no, no, you go ahead.
I'll I'll hang back here in the corner.
So I walked out there to dance floor, and the band is just getting walked up to the drummer.
Hey man, how are you?
Good to see you again.
We came down to hear your set, taking your advice.
Uh, the leader came over.
Hey, how are you?
Great to see you.
I said, Great to see you.
Thanks for having us up here.
We're looking forward to hearing you.
So I repair back to the corner within seconds.
The guy gets on the microphone, said, Rush Limbaugh is in the house.
I oh ho.
And I'd already been spotted.
And I'm standing there in the corner next to the service door to the to the kitchen that leads into the into the area here where the reception's taking place.
So the band kicks up, they start playing music, and people start strolling by and looking with the most perplexed facial expression.
Who?
What the hell is he doing here?
Why is the guy on the microphone at Japan say Rush Limbaugh's in the house?
So the the groom comes over, and the groom's big smile on his face.
Hi, I'm the groom.
I said, Oh, you're the Marine.
He said, No, I'm a ranger.
I said, Did you get married to church across the street?
He said, No, we got married on the roof.
I said, Whoa, well, there was another wedding.
I thought, I thought that no, no, no, no.
I'm a ranger.
I got a brother in Iraq, I got a brother in Afghanistan.
Um, and uh we're this is this great here.
Then the the bride came over and she brought the official wedding photographer with her.
And we are posing.
Now follow me on this.
We're posing for pictures, you know, being being, you know, good sick because we've crashed the thing.
I mean, we're wedding crashers.
So the the bride comes over and she's smiling, but she's not she's not totally there, but she knew enough to bring the photographer, and she's talking to me in the noise I cannot hear.
So when I can't hear, I have found that the best thing to do is say thank you.
When somebody looks at me and they're smiling, thank you always works.
It's like I was in the sideline of the Redskins game yesterday, and it was loud, the pregame music, and I couldn't hear anything.
And a couple came over and introduced their kids and and asked me to sign the uh the bills of their caps, and I did.
And then they said to me, Um, okay, well, we're gonna leave and stop bothering you, we'll leave you alone now.
I didn't hear him say that.
I just oh, okay, thank you.
You know, Katie tells me all this after the fact.
So anyway, the bride groom or the groom, the the bride comes over, she's telling me all this stuff about her, she's smiling.
I think she's just making small talk, and I say, Thank you.
Oh, great.
Well, thank you very much.
And they pose for the pictures.
Then we then leave.
We get upstairs, just do you did you not hear what she was saying to you?
No, I had no idea what to I couldn't hear, I could barely hear you.
Oh rush.
She she's a Hillary staffer.
Half the room worked for Hillary Clinton.
So no.
So I'm sitting there going.
I've got biggest smile on my face, and I'm just thanking her when she's telling me all this.
We were only in there a total of ten minutes, maybe twelve minutes, and went back upstairs and and uh then the the uh next morning checking out, the whole wedding party's checking out while we're leaving to go to FedEx Field, and I these people are staring.
How the hell did he end up in our wedding reception?
One thing I did hear the bride ask me when she came over with the official photographer, so how did you get in here?
I said, the band invited us.
We were downstairs in the bar and the band invited us up here.
They said to come in the second set, when you all be pretty much into the party, and we wouldn't be wouldn't be noticed.
Uh of course I blew that by walking out in the middle of dance floor while the band was getting ready to get into their next into their next set.
But it was fun.
First wedding I've ever crashed.
First reception I've ever crashed.
She brought the photographer over.
I said, he had to be mixed emotional.
The whole place is there.
What how the hell did this happen?
I mean, we're we're having a wedding, it's a reception.
We love these two people.
Washington, how the hell have Lib get in here.
And it's everywhere.
The band.
The band leader uh in the invited us in.
All right, White House officials on tape coordinating the use of the NEA for propaganda, Buffy Wicks.
August 2000, I works with Valerie Jarrett.
She's a director, uh, deputy director of the White House Office of Public Engagement.
Uh, and here's a portion of her remarks using the NEA to push White House propaganda said the White House is coming at him with some specific requests.
You know, uh uh we won, and that's exciting, and now we have to take all that energy and um and make it really meaningful.
Change does not come easy.
And you know, when when then candidate Obama would say that, uh, I was like, Yeah, I know change doesn't come easier, but then now that I'm actually in the White House and and working um towards furthering this agenda, this very aggressive agenda.
I'm I'm really realizing that, and I'm also really appreciative of the way in which that we um did win and the way the strategy that the campaign chose, which is really to engage people at a local level and to engage them in the process, um, because we we need them and we need you.
Um and we're going to need your help and we're gonna come at you with some specific asks here.
Specific requests.
We're gonna be asking you to help us advance the agenda.
Here she mentions her boss, Valerie Jarrett, who we have to assume knows what she's doing.
I'm at the Office of Public Engagement here at the White House.
Um our office does a lot of outreach to um communities all across the country, um, either by constituency group or by issue.
Um we've about twenty folks and uh we work under uh Valerie Jarrett.
We're really here at your disposal and uh we want to be helpful to you.
Um and it's part of my role here is working on service.
Um and so when we were uh thinking about how do we take a lot of this um energy that's out there, how do we translate uh folks who've just been engaged in in electoral politics and engage them in really the process of um of governing and um of uh being a part of this administration in a little bit of a different way because politics is one thing and governing is something totally separate.
And so we really saw service as the platform by which we can do that.
Service disguised as advancing an Obama agenda propaganda run out of Valerie Jarrett's office in the White House by Buffy Wicks, uh Buffy the Walmart slayer.
She organized all the uh the boycotts and hassles with Walmart using acorn to uh to harass them.
And this is a conference call.
She knows members of the NEA artists asking them to and which is federally funded.
So uh not not kosher here.
Yes, we do have the official Obama criticizer, Mr. Bill Snerdley coming up later on in the program today of a request from Open Line Friday of last Friday.
And get this, I just got an email from the groom of the wedding I crashed on Saturday night.
Uh dear rush did the guy's a subscriber at uh the website, Rushlimbaugh.com.
Rush, half the room was current and former Hillary staffers, half the room was conservatives with huge ties to the military in the Midwest.
It was great to have you crash our wedding.
I'm converting as many as I can.
Rick Yost.
So the groom is Rick Yosty's an army ranger, and the bride's name, Heather King.
And she is a former, I think six years a Hillary staffer.
Who would have thought?
Most people crash weddings get thrown out of them.
But I mean, you gotta admit the bride had a great sense of humor to go grab the official photographer and show up, not throw a fit.
I mean, it's her that's her wedding.
It's her reception.
She works for Hillary, and there I am in there with her band leader saying Rush Limbaugh is in the house.
We got one more sound bite here from Buffy Wicks.
Uh, and she wants to on this this now.
This is a conference call.
This is out of the White House, deputy director, White House Office of Public Engagement.
She works directly for and under Valerie Jarrett, Obama and Michelle's type uh top advisor.
Now, this this is a final portion of Buffy's remarks to the all the artists from the NEA on this conference call.
So we focus on four main areas.
One is health care.
Um, obviously it's a big issue.
You know, we met with um health and human services and thought through what are the ways that we can have organizations and individuals work with HHS and others um to be effective.
Is it preventative health care, is it children nutrition?
Uh what are the main issues, what's the main focus there?
Um second was energy in the environment, and so we worked a lot with Department of Interior.
I know I'm throwing a lot of government stuff at you guys, so bear with me, but it's the world we live in now.
We're actually running the government.
We're actually running the government.
Buffy Wicks.
This is uh big government.com and bigHollywood.com, big Hollywood Brightbart.com.
It's all over the place.
It's it's actually uh amazing.
Let's let's jump forward now to uh Sunday, September 6th.
That's uh audio soundbite number 27.
Now, this is after the first series of uh of tapes that were heard, but then Buffy Wicks had not been heard on those tapes.
Only a guy named Yossi Sargent had been heard.
Uh and after these tapes aired, uh Yossi was reassigned and thrown under the bus.
This is George Will on this week, September 6th, the round table discussing all this.
Recently there was a conference call arranged by the National Endowment for the Arts with a representative of the White House for potential grantees or actual grantees of the federal government, getting subsidies.
The theme of it was how the arts community could help advance the president's agenda.
And I don't know how many laws that breaks, but I'm sure there are some.
Gotta be exactly right.
I don't know how many laws there are.
But nobody's gonna be holding him accountable.
I mean, the the the the you know, you could ask what in the world is constitutional about Obama's health care plan.
Where is it say in the Constitution can do this?
You know, the constitutionality of most of this agenda could come under serious question if there were any attempt to hold anybody accountable here.
But this is what you get with one party rule with no checks and balances.
And also when you have a compliant, slavish state-controlled media.
So, yeah, now this is not pimps and hoes in acorn offices, in various offices, acorn around the country, but it is the White House.
It is right in the office of Valerie Jarrett, number one advisor to Obama and Michelle with this buffy babe, Buffy Wicks, conducting a conference call with NEA artists, working up uh various things they can do to help push the entire Obama social agenda.
This is a point that we make constantly, and it's starting to sound like a broken record, but imagine if this kind of thing were to have discovered, been discovered during the Bush administration.
I it would there would be no end in sight to the caterwalling and the whining and moaning uh going on about this.
Also need to make a correction.
I need to make a correction, intended to do this on Friday, but I forgot to make myself a note.
Doug Giles, I mentioned Doug Giles as the father of the uh young conservative who played the prostitute in the acorn videos.
And I found that he had a column and he had endorsed uh uh uh Obama.
It turned it was a joke, it was a satirical endorsement, and I was reading it on the fly, didn't have time to digest the whole thing, so I wanted to uh set the record straight.
Doug Giles uh in endorsed Obama the way I endorsed Clinton, and it was uh it was a joke.
He actually uh he actually didn't do it.
The um here, along the same lines that we are discussing.
This is from the state-controlled associated press.
Obama just finished remarks in Troy, New York today to discuss his already in-place programs, domestic agenda, uh, help spur innovation, transform the U.S. economy, which is it's doing just the exact opposite.
Everything they say, you have to examine it from the opposite standpoint.
During his remarks, Obama decried, listen, Obama ripped and moaned and whined about a U.S. economy that relies on explosive growth in some areas that mask long-term weaknesses.
The translation here he is complaining about the private sector, the U.S. economy that relies on explosive growth.
The translation here is market forces don't work, and he wants a top-down command and control government.
Government, not private sector.
To prevent future crises, Obama told the audience that the United States must continue to invest in projects so the nation isn't left trying to catch up with global competitors and to make sure regulations don't stifle new thinking crucial to economic stability.
In other words, the government's gonna assume more and more control.
As I say, Obama is gobbling up the private sector as quickly as he can.
It's like Pac-Man on steroids.
Let's go to foreign policy now, where this is dangerous.
All of this, I have a series of stories here.
We are we're we're we're forgetting our own security.
We're far we're not even farming it out, we're just not even going to pay any attention to it.
Barack Obama ready to slash U.S. nuclear arsenal.
Pentagon told a map out radical cuts as President of Parrett prepares to chair United Nations talks.
Obama has demanded that the Pentagon conduct a radical review of U.S. nuclear weapons doctrine to prepare the way for deep cuts in the country's arsenal.
The UK Guardian revealed this.
Obama has rejected the Pentagon's first draft of the nuclear posture review as being too timid.
This may be the most dangerous development yet, and I hope he fails.
Well, who in the right mind doesn't hope this dangerous president fails?
Washington Post today changes.
Have Obama rethinking war strategy.
Although Obama endorsed a strategic document in March that called for executing and resourcing an integrated civilian military counterinsurgency strategy in Afghanistan.
There have been significant changes there and in Washington since.
Keep in mind Obama owns this now.
This is his general, this is his strategy.
A strategy change in March.
He's now still reviewing his options.
And asking, are we are we doing the right thing?
First question, are we doing the right thing?
Are we pursuing the right strategy?
That's what he said on his Sunday appearance on CNN.
Then Obama's pick for Afghanistan commander warns of rising casualties, a stiff fight ahead and asks for more troops.
Couple of articles I have here with excerpts actually from a few months ago about uh McCristal's confirmation.
Obama chose McCristal, the general.
Obama chose him.
Obama chose to ramp up the fight in Afghanistan.
And now he's choosing to play politics instead of behaving as a responsible commander-in-chief.
Now the general hasn't changed, but Crystal hasn't changed.
It's Obama who's changed.
If Obama doesn't want to win the war in Afghanistan, it wouldn't come as a surprise because he has said as much.
He doesn't like the word victory.
He conjures up embarrassing images of the Japanese surrender in World War II aboard the USS Missouri.
Now, if he doesn't want to win the war in Afghanistan, no surprise, look what he's done to the deficit.
Look what he's done to the national debt.
Look what he's done to jobs.
Look what he's done to the private sector.
GM Chrysler insurance companies, doctors, and so on.
You know, fighting wars are hard things to do.
Playing politics.
Why, that's easy, comes natural to the community organizer in chief.
Playing politics, putting off urgent pleas for additional troops from the general you chose to lead the war effort in Afghanistan because you don't want to lose your left-wing kook base.
And that's what largely this is all about.
Obama can't afford to lose his left-wing kook base.
He needs them to get them out there marching.
The NEA calls he needs these people all trumped up and hyped up to pass his health care legislation.
And he's going to lose them if he ramps up the war in Afghanistan.
He's going to lose even some some radicals in the House and the Senate.
And then there's uh the this back in July 14th, Obama purges website critique of surge in Iraq.
Remember now the best military leaders told us a surge in Iraq could win the war there.
And they were right.
What did Senator Obama say about the surge?
He said the surge in Iraq would fail.
And after it succeeded, he said it failed.
And despite that gross misjudgment, Obama was given a promotion, made commander-in-chief.
Now today we have issues in Afghanistan that require the best judgment of our best military leaders.
They say more troops are needed immediately.
If we're to win in Afghanistan, as we did in Iraq.
And by the way, Afghanistan's not just Afghanistan.
The Taliban's all over the place.
They're in Pakistan too.
If we if we pull out of there, which is what it looks like Obama's prepared to do to hold on to his fringe base if we pull out of there, then Afghanistan goes back to being a terrorist state.
And well, if we'll eventually have to go back at some point when there's somebody responsible running the country.
I have to say this, it makes me sad to say it, but there's even a growing popularity among the elites.
And not just the leftist elites, by the way.
Some even on our side are suggesting, yeah, you know what?
Why don't we just get out of there?
We can't win there.
Wasting treasure.
Why just get out of there?
Folks, if if if we do that all to appease his uh fringe base, it's going to be a disaster.
What is needed is an all-out effort to destroy the Taliban in Afghanistan and along the border with Pakistan, heavy bombers included, and an all-out effort to build up Afghan military and police force with uh with serious resources.
How often did we hear, all during the campaign, all during the last three years of the Iraq war, the last four years, how often did we hear that Afghanistan's a place we ought to be?
Not Iraq.
Afghanistan's where Obama is, Osama is.
We haven't captured Osama.
We got to go to Afghanistan.
We got to win theirs.
Let's get out of Iraq.
We need to reallocate our resources to Afghanistan.
So we gradually pull out of Iraq.
And now all of a sudden we're hearing, eh, let's just get out of here.
Let's get out of Afghanistan too.
We can't win.
Let's focus on Iran.
Well, what we got the latest on Iran is that Zabignev Brzezinski is advising the U.S. military to shoot down Israeli jets if they launch an attack, you flying over Iraqi airspace to get into Iran to take out the We actually have Americans advising Americans to shoot down Israeli jets.
That would be the best interest for Obama.
The best interest for America.
We can't win in Iraq.
You can't fight wars this way.
You cannot set national policy this way.
If we leave Afghanistan, we create a terrorist nation.
If it's right on the border with Pakistan, it may well topple that government.
Then what happens to India?
They're not going to sit around and let this happen.
You know, they've they've nuked up.
They're not going to sit around and just let all this overrun them.
But the elites, you know, these liberal elites say, oh man, we got to get into Afghanistan.
We got to really go there.
We got to get Osama.
We've got to get out of Iraq.
And then they take us to war, and then they can't wait to declare defeat.
They take us to war, and the last thing they want to do is win.
They got some phony conservatives are at this too, becoming more and more populist rather than principled.
We need to get out of there.
We need to get out of there.
So where do we take a stand?
Where do we take a stand?
We're not going to take a stand in Iraq under this guy.
We're not going to take a stand in Afghanistan, apparently.
We're not going to make a stand in uh in Iran, not Poland, not Czech, Czechoslovakia, Czech Republic, not Latin America.
Where are we going to take a stand?
We're under assault everywhere.
We're siding with our enemies.
Where are we going to take a stand?
And we're not going to take a stand.
You know why?
We are willingly relinquishing our superpower status.
Yeah, that's old-fashioned.
It's unproductive to global cooperation, because we need to cooperate globally on the climate, on the swine flu, on bank regulations, and executive compensation.
And that's what the agenda of this administration is.
Now, finally, on this foreign policy business, and we've had this before.
Madeline Albright has said before that it's not good for the U.S. to be the only superpower that has the world uh out of kilter, not uh in proper balance.
February 18th article in Pravda.
Pravda in Russia.
February or September 18th reporting on comments Albright made during the Young Entrepreneurs International Business Forum, September 13th through the 17th, organized by the Ministry of Sport, Youth Policy, and Tourism of the Russian Federation.
And here's the headline.
Madeline Albright, USA no longer intends to be world's number one state.
Madeline Albright said during the meeting, America no longer had the intention of being the first nation of the world.
And here's here's an Albright quote from 1998.
We very much don't want to be out there by ourselves as the organizer and the only superpower.
People don't believe that.
They think we just want to be king of the hill, but we do not.
Now, folks, knocking down the United States from its position of number one has been a left-wing project for generations.
It is an explicit Democrat governing policy whenever they're in office.
They hate a powerful America.
They do whatever they can to weaken us by any means necessary.
We are the problem in the world, from global warming to executive compensation to banking and financial regulations.
And make no mistake, this is who they are.
They don't like us being supreme.
We are immoral and we are in unjust, and this is something Obama believes as well.
I think it's totally explains the ideology behind what Obama's doing internationally and domestically, for that matter.
It's all purposeful.
All of this is purposeful.
So Madeline Albright in Pravda, in Russia.
With a reminder of how the mission of Democrats in power is always to weaken.
This makes me sick.
This makes me sick.
I was at the Redskins game yesterday.
I ran into four of the most handsome, young, clean-cut Marines who are just ready to get their orders.
And they're heading to Afghanistan, some are heading to Camp LeJune.
And these people all volunteered to defend and protect their country in this constitution.
These are just some of the greatest young men.
They're 23 to 24 years old, and they were up there as guests of Coach Zorn in his suite for the Rams Redskins game.
They had me, they got me on the phone to one of their buddies who is in 29 Palms, California, who's being sent to Afghanistan to that to Southern Afghanist to a hellhole in southern Afghanistan.
And here we have the commander-in-chief and his administration Doing what they can to knock us off the perch that these guys have signed up, volunteered, and trained for to defend.
It's sickening.
Say, folks, do you remember, you remember when uh uh it was revealed that the Bush Department of Education had paid Armstrong Williams something like $241,000 to help promote the No Child Left Behind Act?
Remember that?
Exactly what is happening with the Obama White House and the NEA.
Uh, and and when it was discovered Armstrong Williams had taken 241 grand, Henry Waxman introduced H.R. 373, which would make such a thing completely against the law.
Do you remember that?
I do.
