Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
The views expressed by the host on this program are all you need.
Greetings, my friends, and welcome.
It's Rush Limbaugh, the EIB Network, the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies for another rockin' three hours.
Telephone number if you want to be on the program today is uh 800 282-2882, the email address.
Lrushball at EIBNet.com.
Before we uh get into the latest on the healthcare debate with then, and that uh largely includes the name of your host being taken in vain at uh at Democrat congressional town hall meetings by some participants and then those participants being shouted down by other participants.
We'll let you hear the audio in that in just a second.
I got to want to read you something.
You know, yesterday we had the news that the uh Secretary General of the United Nations said we got four months to save the planet.
We have four months.
What he means by that is I think if they don't get this sweeping socialism done worldwide in four months, the whole world will be clued in on the hoax.
They got four minutes to get four months to get this done before the hoax is exposed fully.
But I want to read something to you here.
A senior United Nations environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.
Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of eco-refugees, threatening political chaos.
This uh was said by Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the United Nations UN Environment Program.
He said governments have a ten-year window of opportunity to solve the problem.
This was published in a Miami Herald on the 5th of July 1989.
So by nine years ago, we were supposed to be underwater here, snurdy.
We were supposed to be swimming with the sharks out there, hoping the Gulf Stream would take us north to uh to cooler climbs.
It is such a hoax.
I have I think I solved the health care problem.
Well, you know, I'm watching Obama out there, and he's just shooting from the hip.
I I have figured out what's going on.
I know why Obama is not specifying a plan.
I know why he is not talking specifics about the House plan.
I've analyzed this.
I've it's all based on Obama doesn't care about anybody but himself.
He doesn't care about his party, he doesn't care about the country, he cares about himself and monuments to himself.
So I'm watching him out there shoot from the hip.
He's spouting slogans, talking points, he's out of touch, he's detached from the reality on this, because the reality on this is not his reality.
He doesn't care about the details, he just wants to be in control of health care.
That's it.
Bottom line.
Spouting is talking points, all these other things.
Uh the House of Representatives can't seem to make it happen.
The Senate can't make it happen.
Obama can't make it happen.
I'm actually enthused now.
I'm actually getting enthused out there, folks.
Uh look, don't get me wrong, because we still have to turn these frauds called blue dog democrats around if we're going to defeat this uh by vote in the uh in the House of Representatives.
But this activism that's out there, um, as I said Monday and Tuesday, I am proud of you people going to these town halls.
I am swelling with pride watching you in action.
This is American civic activism at its best.
This is not a bunch of malcontents.
This is not a bunch of random mob leftists.
This is citizens speaking out and demanding to be heard.
And of course, the state-controlled media is all upset.
Of course, the Democrat Party is all upset.
Of course the elites are alarmed.
They should be, because all this is aimed at them too, and they know that this is genuine.
They've they've dragged out every page in their playbook.
Every play in the playbook.
Smear tactics like accusing us of links to Nazism and the Klan and racism, and now they've gone back to the old trick from 1993 to say, guess what?
The militias are arming up.
The militias are patrolling the woods.
The Southern Southern Poverty Law Center came out with a report here that the right wing militias are arming up and are conducting exercises and are getting dangerously close to causing all kinds of trouble.
They're bringing out every scare tactic, fear tactic they have ever used.
And they're accusing us of using violence and staging events.
And now they're out there spending tens of millions of dollars in union dues on propaganda commercials lying about what they're trying to do.
But you people are not buying it.
You are not taking it.
It is just a delight.
You know who would love this?
Tocqueville.
Alexis de Tocqueville, who wrote Democracy in America, was fascinated by the whole town hall thing.
He thought it was crucial to uh American democracy surviving and thriving.
I know we're a representative republic.
Let's not split here.
I'm talking about Tocqueville and uh and in democracy and so forth, but uh he he the that he would be so proud of what's going on here.
It would it would remind him of the early days of this country.
I mean, it's just it's wonderful what all of you are doing out there.
And so I've been watching this and I was going, how do we solve this?
What's the objective?
The objective is to get health care for everybody at lower cost, right?
No, I mean that's that's that's the real objective.
We'd like everybody to have access to health care.
We'd like certainly want to bring the cost down, do we not?
I mean, Everett, that's that's that's what we want to do.
I have a plan.
I have a plan to give everybody health care and slash cost, and I don't need a thousand pages of rationing.
I don't need death panels.
And by all, Sarah Palin has rocked them with that one because she's dead right.
They are death panels.
I uh I went back, I was reading Levin's book, Liberty and Tyranny, and he's got a story in there about a woman in Oregon.
They've got death panels in Oregon.
Nine states already have a version of Obamacare, and it's a disaster.
And I'll share the details with that as the program unfolds.
But I don't need a thousand pages of uh rationing, regulating, nor invasion of your privacy.
I can deliver what Obama is promising with one sentence.
Very simple.
You're sick.
Here's a train ticket to Canada.
If you like the if you like socialized medicine, we can we can send you to Canada to get treated, and we can do it for much less than converting our system to Canada's.
All we gotta do is put you on a train and put you on an airplane.
The transportation costs, let the Canadians handle the care.
If you like that kind of system, or if you want to go to the UK, we'll put you on a plane send you there.
But that's going to cost so much less, and there's going to be no interruption whatsoever to our personal freedom of people that do not want to go to Canada, people that don't want to go to the UK, or maybe if you want to go to Cuba to get treated, that's best health care in the world, we're told.
So if you want to go to Cuba, we'll send you there.
If you want to go to Canada, we'll send you there.
All it's going to cost us is uh, you know, whatever the transportation costs and maybe a hotel for a couple nights.
But Canada will take care of the health care costs because it's free for everybody.
Isn't this isn't this brilliant, folks?
I mean, I've been sweating and slaving over this all night, and I find what are we talking about here?
We've already got the kind of garbage that Obama's trying to put on us elsewhere.
It's in Canada and the U.K. Send everybody there who gets sick.
They they come here for private care.
We go there for public care.
I don't mean become a citizen of Canada.
I'm proposing a round trip ticket so that you can go to Canada, you can get better, you can come back home and keep paying more taxes in America.
I think it's a brilliant plan.
And I'm uh will they take us?
Well, now, uh gee, I hadn't thought of will Canada take us.
Well, I don't think that's really the question.
The question is, if you yeah, we'll assume they'll take you, but how long's the line gonna be?
Who cares?
We don't care about that.
I mean, that's part and parcel of the kind of system we're gonna get.
So I'd rather people leave here and stay in line in Canada than goof up and muck up our health care system, which is fine and dandy and working for the most part.
And while we get rid of these people that want to socialize medicine, get them to Canada, that's closest place we can send them.
We can fix ours for the people that want it fixed and uh kill two birds with one stone.
And look at the money we'll be saving, and look at the freedom we'll be preserving.
And look at the liberty that won't be attacked, and we'll have to put nobody's medical records online.
The White House is not gonna have to determine what Medicare and Medicaid spends on what and on whom we'll let Canada handle all that because they got the system down pat.
And everybody seems to admire the Canadian system, at least in the Obama realm, and the same thing with the uh National Health Service in the UK.
So it's just it's it's if we're if we want to save money here, Why why ruin our system when we've already got two systems that are in ruination now, but people want to access them?
Fine, we'll send them there.
It's very, very simple.
These are death panels, by the way.
In uh in Levin's book, Liberty and Tyranny, let me let me quote Barbara Wagner diagnosed with a recurrence of lung cancer.
Her doctors recommended a specific drug to help prolong and improve the quality of her life.
However, Barbara Wagner is a resident of Oregon.
And as a result, she's part of the state-run Oregon Health Plan.
The state of Oregon refused Barbara Wagner's request for the drug since it does not cover drugs that are meant to prolong the life of individuals with advanced cancer.
After all, when the Oregon Health Plan was established in 1994, it was expressly intended to ration health care to save money.
But Oregon also legalized assisted suicide, and in an unsigned letter from the state of Oregon, Barbara Wagner was informed that the health plan would pay to cover the costs of a doctor to help her kill herself, but not give her the drug to prolong her life.
She was not ready to have herself killed.
However, it seems she had reached a dead end until the pharmaceutical company that invented the drug learned of her plight and stepped in to provide her the medicine free of charge.
We already have Obamacare in several states.
These death panels, and Sarah Palin has doubled down on it according to the Politico.
She's now defended her claim that the Democrat health care proposal would create death panels in a statement Wednesday night slamming Obama.
And if you go to her Facebook page and you look at the notes and you look at the uh the things she wrote about death panels, it would seem to me that all of the inside the beltway elites, from Peggy Noonan to Mort Kondrowki to Charles Krauthammer, to whoever the hell else said she needs to educate herself on the issues.
She needs to become more sophisticated.
She needs to do some homework.
Seems to me, if you go to her Facebook, she's done some homework on this health care bill.
She has become an expert on Section 1233.
She writes about political rights about she's doubling down.
She's not backing down, she is doubling down, and this has got the White House in a defensive tizzy.
But I would suggest that anybody who uh doubts her intellectual heft or her ability to learn and study, go to her Facebook page, look at the notes that she's taken, and this it's right there.
The study that she has done and engaged in in order to learn about Section 1233.
Now, this story in uh in Oregon involving Barbara Wagner, again, it's in Mark Levin's book Liberty and Tyranny, uh, illustrates that they are death panels.
And it's a great way to phrase these uh end of life counseling and so forth.
Uh there's no question that that these expenses, these end of life expenses are among the most costly, and they will be used to cut cost.
But the thing that nobody's talking about is you don't have to be old for them to kick in.
All you have to do is have a disease that the government says, eh, it just not worth paying for this.
Uh your advanced cancer, you could be 35 years old and they can say sorry.
And that's where this is headed.
When you boil all of this down, when you really synthesize everything Obama wants to do down, it comes down to this.
Wants to put your medical records on Google, wants to have everybody be able to see them.
He wants to take over control from Congress of deciding what Medicare and Medicaid will spend on who and on what.
He wants the White House, he wants the executive branch to be making determinations of who lives and who dies, which will lead to the regulation of every lifestyle or life in this country.
It's that when you boil all the legalese and all of these uh 1,017 pages, you boil it down, Obama wants to run it.
And the reason that he's not being specific about his plan is um is purely politically strategic right out of the brain of uh David Axarod, and I'll explain it to you and get to these funny audio sound bites when we come back.
Sit tight.
Retail sales unexpectedly dip.
In July, new jobless claims rise unexpectedly.
Every month, every week, every reporting period, state-run media, I don't care if it's Reuters or the Associated Press or whoever, every bit of economic news, the latest statistic, it's always unexpected.
Why in hell would it be unexpected that sales would dip in a recession?
What is surprising about that?
What is surprising that more and more people are losing their jobs?
The number of newly laid off workers filing claims rose unexpectedly lexed.
Well, why is this unexpected?
Why would anybody hire anybody in this environment?
Man, oh man, are these people really this stupid or are they just this narrow-minded focused?
Retail and hand, here's Reuters.
Retail sales post surprise job drop while jobless claims rise.
Well, who was anticipating a spending rebound?
Who was expecting consumer spending to go up?
Who are these idiots?
Is it just economists or is it just these idiots in the media?
You know, let's look at the let's let's look at the uh the cash for clunkers program.
In this economy, you see, when you've got the government messing in the market, which was what cash for clunkers was, you might theorize, and I could probably make the case that the Cash for Clunkers program actually hurt non-auto retailers because it shifted cash away from retail stores and into automobile showrooms.
So the net result was is that automobile dealerships get a short-term boost, which is already now cratered and leveled off, funded by taxpayers, while everyone else suffers.
Had they had the government not redistributed wealth to people to go out and get rid of their clunkers, that would have never happened.
So people would have probably spent their money in different ways.
They wouldn't have bought cars, they would have done other things.
Now we throw 4500 bucks at some people on the premise you gotta get rid of your gas guzzling clunker, go get some piece of garbage crap that you would really never buy on your own without the incentive, and bam offs auto sales boom up, but they don't buy other things, and as a result, retail sales are down, jobless claims are up.
Who in the world thinks it would have been otherwise?
And I mentioned the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Everybody, shorts, are in a twist now because these wackos at the Southern Poverty Law Center out there saying right wing racist, uh racist militias are arming up and ramping up and conducting training exercises.
And everybody's going, ooh.
So here we have uh a bunch of guys running around in the woods in camouflage suits and face paint, and everybody's going, oh no, no, oh my gosh, there's the breakdown of civility.
In the meantime, our very own Justice Department, our very own attorney general, cannot bother to prosecute actual new black panther party members engaging in actual voter intimidation in an actual election in an actual city, Philadelphia.
I mean, you've all seen the video tape, or most of you have, of the uh of these clowns intimidating voters at a at a polling place in Philadelphia, and Eric Halders, nah, we're not gonna prosecute these.
You've got real voter intimidation, real violations of law going on, being ignored, and here you got these guys running around in the woods in their camos and their guns, and everyone's in a militia movement.
This is every play in the playbook is being brought back to life out of desperation.
Because what you're doing, this this genuine civic unrest has them discombobulate, because when they get involved in civic unrest, it's all trumped up, it's all phony, that's manufactured.
And that's why they think you're manufactured.
They have to pay rent a mobs to do it.
They have to send out emails with instructions.
They have to get people wearing t-shirts and uniforms and so forth.
And you all are showing up, and of course, these very same people who run around saying dissent is the new patriotism.
You are now threats to democracy.
You are threats to civic order.
You are uh you are hurting the Republican Party.
You are hurting the Republican.
I actually saw some lunatic on MSNBC's this more, some some woman.
Who's the leader of the Republican Party?
Who's the leader conservative movement?
The far right wing is taking it even further to the right wing and getting it dangerously away from the center where the party was moving where it has to be.
Party loses when it moves to the center, as we proved in 2008.
Great.
Grover Norquist was the guest on MSNBC, having to put up with this insane line of questioning.
He said, You know something?
And I thought this is a good point.
You know something?
People who are organized or oriented toward liberty and freedom don't need a leader.
Socialists need leaders.
Communists need leaders or dictators.
But people who want freedom and liberty, individuals don't need a leader.
There is no leader organizing these town hall meetings.
This is people showing up on their own because they're scared to death that their liberty and freedom are going to be taken away.
They see who Obama is now.
They see the radical left wing leadership of the Democrat Party for what it is now.
They don't want any part of it.
Of course they're going to be denigrated.
Don't back down, folks.
Do not be intimidated.
You got them on the run.
I know.
I'm I'm going to get to the audio soundbites in just a second here of my name being invoked in vain at a couple of town halls in New Jersey.
But I want to grab a phone call here first.
It is Emily in Guntersville, Alabama.
Hi, Emily, uh, great to have you here.
Thank you so much.
How are you today?
Very well, thanks.
Oh, I got one big question for you.
Yeah, I can answer it, I'm sure.
It's about health care.
Why are we not hearing the big insurance companies like Blue Cross and Blue Shill?
Why aren't they running ads and screaming and yelling about this?
I am so glad you asked that question because there is a there is an answer to this.
By the way, Blue Cross just laid off 9600 people.
Sorry, 650.
Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Illinois losing 650 jobs, preparing for the future under health care reform, the parent of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, gonna can 650 people amid the economic downturn that has caused its employer customers to reduce employees and a demand from Congress and Obama to reduce administrative costs.
So this little side statistic about Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.
Emily, here's the answer to the question.
All of these companies being demonized, the big pharmaceutical, big insurance, they're out there.
What they're trying to do right now is work with their lobbyists and members of Congress to shape a bill that is favorable to them.
They understand what's going on in Washington.
They have to operate under the premise that there's going to be a bill.
In servicing that premise, they have their lobbyists behind the scenes doing everything they can to shape that bill so it's most advantageous or the least damaging to them.
As always, there is a plan B. And that is if they begin to see it falling apart, and if they begin to see these protests and this civic unrest as really leading to serious trouble with the bill's passage, then they will join.
They will join the effort with TV ads to try to kill it at that point.
Right now they don't want to make enemies of the White House.
You got to understand everybody's scared to death of this guy.
They see what he's doing with health care.
They see that he wants to take over life and death decisions.
He wants to take them from Congress.
He wants the White House, the executive branch to be able to do this.
This is a man who fired the CEO of General Motors after taking over the company.
This is a man who's got a Pazar, who is determining today what executive compensation is going to be at seven firms on Wall Street.
There are members of the White House economic round table who have been called by Rahm Emanuel.
You embarrass the president with that question.
You don't do this.
They're living in fear.
Right now, they're playing a protection game.
They're not going to run ads to defeat this until they think there's a chance it can be defeated.
Because if they run ads right now, Emily, they are just putting a big bullseye front and back on their uh on their on their clothes, on their bodies.
So uh, but there are starting to be some uh signs here.
The Chamber of Commerce yesterday launched a milk uh multimillion dollar ad buy criticizing Democrat reform Plans for raising taxes and expanding government control over health care, but they they didn't, they didn't come out and oppose it.
The plan, they just criticized elements of the plan.
But there is more and more opposition, and believe me, behind the scenes, these people are planning their ad buys and their campaigns right now to come out and kill this thing if they think it can happen.
The veteran, this is from the political today, a veteran Republican lobbyist suggests that groups hang on as long as possible, because the real deal making, he said doesn't happen until a House Senate conference committee hashes out a final bill.
And that's when groups will have the most leverage.
And that's another reason why they're waiting.
The House has got its bill, the Senate's got them a number of them, but when they go to conference, put together the real bill, that's when the lobbying starts.
And if there's a chance to kill it, that's when the ads to do so will start.
But they're not going to do it now, and uh it's if they're keeping their powder dry.
But I guarantee the insurance companies are fuming.
They are sitting there fuming.
Much of what they do is dictated by government already.
Much of we we had numerous calls from insurance agents.
They would love to be able to sell policies to individuals.
The government will not let them sell.
Believe me, they're seething out there.
Individual agents, executives at companies and company wide.
Nobody wants to see what this guy's doing, but if he's going to get it done, they want to find a way to make it as harmless to them or as as least damaging as possible.
You know, this is I one of the things that frustrates people like you and me, Emily, and the rest of us.
We look at Washington and we look at this.
I mean, this health care to me is a zero sum game.
There is no compromise on this to me.
This plan that's out there doesn't have anything in it I want to compromise on.
But Washington is a town of compromise.
So we got the leaders, the party that runs the place is the Democrats.
They've got this plan out there, and Obama's out there pushing it in generalities.
Republicans don't have the votes to stop it.
So you and I look at this and say, kill it.
It is bad.
It will destroy the private sector, it's bad for freedom, it's bad for liberty.
In Washington, with the lobbyists and the politicians, it is more a compromise game.
The premise has been accepted, health care reform.
And so you think that the insurance companies are being demonized would be just like we are.
Kill it, it's rotten.
We don't want any part of it.
But they are already regulated by government, and they have got to make sure that when this is all over, they still have some friends there.
They don't want to all be Bill Gates and Microsoft with the Justice Department coming after them with the you know business ending antitrust lawsuits or who knows what else.
The doctors are seething too.
Obama's out there denigrating them, accusing them, and he's just firing from the hip.
I've talked to a lot of doctors and I heard from a lot of doctors, there's no such thing as a 30 or 40 or $50,000 reimbursement for an amputation.
A thousand dollars in one case I heard, $650 for amputating a leg.
There's no $30 or $40,000 a doctor who's reimbursed for amputating a foot off a diabetic.
He's just throwing these numbers out, he don't even know what he's talking about, and he doesn't even care.
The details don't matter to him.
That's why he's not getting into details.
And there are other reasons why he's not getting into details as well.
Look, folks, let me say something here.
We we we conservatives, we're we are not against driving down costs.
But the way you drive down costs is by expanding competition.
You create a financial relationship between the patient and the doctor through direct purchasing of policies through health savings accounts controlled by the individual.
You don't do it by some kind of government edict.
And let's never forget this is a premise I think that would serve us all well, remembering health care is not for the healthy.
Health care is to take care of the sick.
Health care is to take care of those who become unhealthy in some way.
You don't save costs on the healthy.
The healthy running around exercising and not eating trans fats is not gonna save you a dime.
It's all BS.
All of this is an attempt to regulate your behavior, make you feel guilty for enjoying yourself, essentially.
If you're enjoying yourself, they're gonna find a way to make you feel guilty and tax you for it and say you enjoying yourself is leading to a higher health care cost and the election of Republicans, and we're not gonna have either.
So what we have to do, if we're gonna save money, we don't spend money on the healthy.
Who do we spend money on?
We spend money on the unhealthy.
And to save money, you have to cut spending on those who are being treated.
It's just that simple.
If the objective is to cut spending or to make it cheaper, and it is, we're not spending any money on the healthy.
So all of you who fear death panels or denial of service, hello, your instincts are exactly right.
But when you get sick, not when you're healthy.
When you get sick, that's where all the money is spent in our health care system, particularly beyond a certain age end of life.
Where the hell do you think the savings are going to come from?
This notion that there's no rationing, Obama's lying through his teeth about this.
Every Democrat saying that all these rumors and myths are not true, it's lying through their teeth.
There's only way, one way to save money in our current health care system, and that's stop spending as much money on the sick, because we don't spend any money on the healthy.
Now, if Obama's daughters became ill, he would look for the best doctors at the best hospitals.
He would demand the best treatment and medicines.
He would not tell the provider to cut costs.
He would not tell the provider to cut tests.
He would not tell the providers to cut procedures.
No loving parent would.
Yet Obama is demanding that the rest of us do so.
Our families mean just as much to us as his does to him or any member of Congress.
We want the best we can get.
That's what America is.
He is going to deny us the best we can get, not just in health care, but in any number of things, by forcing us into systems and products that he wants us to have.
Systems and products that he will exempt himself from, as will every member of Congress.
The issue is how we pay for it.
We all don't get the best, and we never have all gotten the best, depending on how you define it.
We all can't afford the same kind of car, we all can't afford the same kind of house, we all can't afford the same kind of vacation.
But we all want the best of what we can get for what we can pay for.
What needs to be reformed is how we pay to get the best we can when it comes to health care.
But Obama wants to decide that.
Obama wants to decide who gets what.
He wants to play doctor.
Obama ultimately wants to play God.
This messianic complex of his is genuine.
Pelosi wants to play God.
Harry Reid wants to play God.
Barney Frank wants to play Godet.
And that's the key difference.
We conservatives don't prep pretend to know what treatments or medicines should be offered in every situation.
I wouldn't have, I wouldn't have the chutzpah to stand up and tell 300 million people that I know what's best for you in anything, particularly health care.
I mean the hubris, the ego, the arrogance and the and the conceit of a guy whose career spans all of five minutes with Zilch Zero Nata executive experience.
It's clear he doesn't know what he's doing when he's off that teleprompter.
And yet he's got the audacity to go out and tell a woman, I don't think your hundred-year-old mother should get anything but a pain pill.
Who the hell is he?
And who does he think he is?
There isn't one member of the conservative movement, leadership or rank and file that would dare assume to know this kind of thing, what's best for you in terms of health care.
That we don't pretend to know what treatments.
We don't pretend to know what medicines ought to be offered in every situation.
We don't pretend to know what tests should be taken.
We believe this must be left to individuals and the highly trained specialists in the field who have gone to school to learn about this.
And I don't think Obama's ever been to med school, and if he has, we'll never see the records.
We know the financing of health care requires reform, market reforms, not a government takeover.
I gotta take a break back after this.
No go away.
Let me uh let me just shoot straight on, ladies and gentlemen.
Barack Obama's a serial liar.
He's out there saying all these doctors cut off uh feet and limbs, $30, $40,000, $50,000 reimbursement.
Not true.
Uh he says that doctors, pediatricians take out tonsils to line their pockets.
The guy's a serial liar.
He is campaigning all over the place for a house bill that he has not himself said he will support as is.
Now, how crazy is this?
He doesn't have a plan.
He has not put together a plan.
There's a reason for this.
All Obama wants is the government to steal the health care industry.
He just wants to steal it and control it.
So he's out on the stump.
He shoots from the hip because he believes he's got a gift.
He told Harry Reid, Harry, I have a gift.
Meaning his eloquence, his ability to persuade simply by the power of his presence.
Well, that's gone.
He thinks he can talk his way around anything.
But by not getting specific, by not having a plan, he can rhetorically deny supporting something that is unpopular, or support something he thinks may be popular.
This is Axelrod's strategy.
Don't make any firm commitments about any specific thing.
Speak in generalities, speak philosophically.
When somebody says that they're gonna take your health insurance boy, say no, I'll never support that.
Be accountable for nothing is the plan here.
Be accountable for nothing negative.
Take credit for everything that might be positive.
I don't think his own party members get it.
I I think he's sending them out there to take all the arrows.
They're the ones going out there getting the grief at the town halls.
He stacks and stages his, where he gets all these minions going, yes, we can, yes we can, but the Democrat Party's out there getting its ass whipped by average Americans, and Obama sitting there in comfort on Air Force One or in the Oval Office or surrounded by a bunch of paid lackeys, giving him a false impression of security.
He's prepared to leave them high and dry.
He is showing he's already thrown them under the bus.
They're the ones taking heat for his idea.
Now, I know the health care plan in the house is something that Pelosi and Henry Waxman have been dreaming about for years, and they probably just had to pull it out of a drawer.
It's probably been written years ago in anticipation of this day.
But it's all about Obama.
And Obama's mind.
It's not about his party.
It's not about his country.
It's about him.
He doesn't really give a rat's rear end about the Democrat Party either.
It's about him.
He's bigger than any of it.
Oh, come on, Rush.
You can't.
You're a little over this.
Oh, really?
Obama doesn't give a damn about his own stepbrother still living in a hut in Kenya.
A six by nine foot hut.
Less than twenty dollars would double this guy's annual income.
George Obongo Obango Odingo Obama or whatever his name is, still living in a hut.
Obama hadn't even sent him a sign to put inside Hut Sweet Hut, Hut Hut.
His mother, or I'm saying his aunt in this country facing deportation.
He doesn't care.
He won't send his brother a nickel, a dime or whatever, and his poor aunt in Boston may be here illegally facing deportation.
What what makes these Democrat hacks in Congress think Obama gives a damn about them?
They're only useful to him as long as they're doing his bidding.
Otherwise, he doesn't care.
Let me ask you something.
If you were president of the United States, and the news hit that you had a brother, half-brother living in squalor.
Living in a hut, a six square foot hut with a dirt floor with no air conditioning.
Would you do something about it?
Wouldn't you at least dispatch the Meals on Wheels program?
He hasn't done diddly squat.
And he's he was in Africa, wasn't he?
He's been in Africa, he's been in Africa.
I know he didn't have time to visit.
Didn't want the photo up.
If I had a brother living in a hut, I'd take care of it before I became President of the United States, just on humane principles.
For crying out loud folk, he doesn't give a brat's rear-end about the Democrat Party.
It's all him.
As a new survey uh out, ladies and gentlemen, of the American consumer, it shows that um vast majority of consumers still prefer large luxury vehicles.
Most consumers still prefer large luxury vehicles.
We'll be back.
