I want to repeat the essentials of something I said on Wednesday on this program.
I really am optimistic about what is happening here, and I want to talk to those of you who may be pessimistic about it for various reasons.
I've heard from a couple of people who are, who are pessimistic, simply because you think the message and momentum has been lost.
The subject of the argument has been changed with the thugs, the intimidation, the union, and you're afraid that the American people are believing that the people showing up the Tea Parties are an unruly mob or that they're Nazis or something.
Nothing can be further than the truth.
The majority of American people do not think that.
You can see it in the polls.
The problem the administration has when trying to make the case that all of you are an unruly mob is the polls agree with you.
You are the polls.
There's a vast majority of people that don't like this health care plan in any way, shape, man, or form and don't like an increasing amount of the Obama agenda.
I think, we'll know soon enough, I think Obama may well be destroying the Democrat Party.
Don't forget, the Rasmussen report generic ballot came out this week.
Generic, this is what I go out and ask people of 2010 congressional election.
Are you going to vote for Republican or Democrat?
They don't give him a name, just give them party.
The Republicans have a six-point lead, five-point lead, sorry, five-point lead in the generic ballot.
I mean, it's just six months since George Bush, the hated, was in office.
It's just six months since everything in the country was going to hell in a handbasket.
And all of a sudden, the Republicans are up five in the generic ballot.
Here's why.
The Democrat Party leadership is hard left wing, including Obama, including Pelosi, including Harry Reid.
But much of the Democrat Party grassroots is not.
Now, we've been talking about this, I think, the whole period of time since Obama's immaculation.
How many Democrats really believe this?
We've been asking ourselves.
I'm Kant.
I look at the polling data.
I look at other things.
And much of the grassroots of the Democrat Party is not anywhere near as radical left as its leadership.
The left wing of the party controls its mechanisms, but the voters are not all Obama and Pelosi ideologues.
They're not all Greenpeace wackos.
They're not all a bunch of people that want to go out and destroy jobs to save animals or the planet.
They're not all people that want to destroy the U.S. healthcare system.
And what the liberal media, state-controlled media, are not reporting is that it's the Democrat Party that is marginalizing itself here.
It's the Democrat Party that is not reaching the middle class and independence.
It is the Democrat Party that's become a narrow ideological party.
And this is very important.
The Democrat Party represents an ever-shrinking percentage of the population.
Trust me when I tell you, and I can cite data if you want, the American people are at their core liberty-loving.
They are competitive.
They are innovative.
They are independent.
They want to be optimistic.
They want the same opportunities in this country that they had for their kids that they had when they were growing up.
And this is, folks, this is really crucially important.
The American people are not Obamaites.
They're not radical leftists.
They love freedom.
They love liberty.
They're competitive.
They're innovative.
And this is why Obama and Pelosi have to lie about what they're doing.
They have to lie about saving jobs when we're losing them.
They have to lie about their cap and trade bill.
They have to lie about the deficits.
As they get larger and larger, they blame it on Bush.
They lie about what they're actually trying to do about health care because they don't dare tell anybody the truth.
If they tell people the truth, they're dead politically.
If Obama had told the people the truth of what his agenda was going to be, he would not even come close to winning.
But people believed him when he said he had an idea for post-racial, post-partisan job creation, bringing people together, no more red and blue state divide.
He could speak well.
He was clean, as Joe Biden said.
He was articulate.
But he's a major disappointment.
There is buyer's remorse and as the imperialists in Congress order now five, snurdily five new jets now, not three.
Three G550s and two Boeing business jets, which are 737s.
By the speaking of Michelle and the kids, I just read Michelle and the kids just went out for burgers and fries.
While everybody's focused on obesity as the number one problem with health care reform, the Democrat Party is a narrow ideological party.
Now, it's led by people who spend their every waking moment conspiring against the public and lying to the public.
And you've seen it starting yesterday.
The White House had to convene an emergency crisis meeting and get their union agitators in gear.
They are conspiring against American citizens.
The President of the United States and his party are conspiring against citizens.
Listen to this.
The Senate's most powerful Democrat yesterday scolded health care protesters, dogging his party's lawmakers at local meetings.
This is Harry Reid.
He argued that some critics on the political right have run out of ideas and have ditched their civic manners.
Majority Leader Harry Reid said that the protesters are trying to sabotage the Democrat process, sabotage the Democrat process.
Do you realize there was no violence at any of these town meetings until Obama's thugs from the union showed up?
There was not one.
Now, not one incident of violence, not one incident of intimidation until Obama's thugs show up.
And so now, Harry Reid accuses you of trying to sabotage the Democrat process.
Stop and think about that.
You are sabotaging the Democrat process by showing up and asking your member of Congress, what the hell are you doing?
That's sabotaging the Democrat.
How in the Democratic process?
How can it be?
We just supposed to stand aside, let these people do what they want to do.
This is why they are conspiring against the public.
The president of the United States, I cannot emphasize for you how unreal this is.
This has never happened in my lifetime.
A president is party conspiring against the people and lying to them.
So we get now to the latest round of this.
Attack the insurance companies, attack the attendees at town hall meetings, make wildly irresponsible promises about government health care while claiming not to be promoting government-run health care.
You keep the legislation secret until the last minute.
You don't get specific about what drugs and treatments and procedures will or will not be covered.
It's in the bill, but you won't say so publicly.
The Democrat leadership must do these things because it is a narrow, ideological party that claims to be otherwise while they are trying to advance its radical agenda as fast as possible before more and more Americans see what it is.
I mean, the health care bill, if passed, doesn't get implemented for four years, 2013.
So why the hell get it done before the August recess?
Before you could find out what's in it.
But that's gone.
You know what's in it now.
It's time for Plan B.
And now, again, I want to say to you blue dog Democrats, Mike Ross, you guys in Arkansas and everywhere else, let me tell you, it's not just Obama that's going to bring you down.
It's Nancy Pelosi.
You take a look at the congressional approval numbers and her personal approval numbers.
You know, George Bush all you want.
People do not like this woman.
And they don't like her leadership.
Congress in general has low numbers.
You blue dog Democrats, you run around and you fancy yourselves as fiscal conservatives.
That's what makes you a blue dog.
You're not for big budgets.
You're not for big deficit.
You want to rein in spending and so forth.
And you run around, you repeat that mantra to your constituents back home.
You are going to decide your own political fate with how you vote on this government-run health care bill because your constituents are going to know.
If you decide you want to throw in with the hard-left ideologues who run the party or with the citizens who sent you to Washington, that's the simple choice that you have.
You cannot continue to vote for hard-left policies, massive debt, massive expansion of government, and then claim to be anything other but a leftist.
You can't go home.
Talk to Republicans.
What happens to them when they promise one thing and campaign one way and go to Washington and govern and they're not there?
Ask Republicans 2004, 2006, 2008, what happened to them when they were not true to their promises and their intentions as they campaigned.
Now, you blue dogs, you're going to have a big choice to make when you come back and vote on this thing in the fall.
There's no place to hide anymore.
There's no middle ground on this.
You can't vote for this and say you are fiscal conservative anything.
You can't vote for this and say you're anything other than a hard radical leftist.
Can't say one thing at home and one thing at Washington.
It won't work anymore.
From the big cities, the inner suburbs, outer suburbs, more rural areas, you're going to have to make a choice.
Either you represent people that sent you to Washington or you throw in with Obama and Pelosi.
And let it also be known who else you're throwing in with.
You're throwing in with public sector union big shots and the tort lawyers.
And these are the people Obama is armying up with.
These are the people Obama is marshaling to prevent you from engaging in the democratic process while saying you're sabotaging it.
No incidents of violence until Obama's crowd showed up.
I can't sit here and express to you how shocked and stunned that this is happening in the United States of America, that we have a president who has abandoned the office now.
He may as well be back on the campaign trail.
His speeches are cocky, nasty, arrogant.
He's out there inciting violence.
White House officials say we're going to push back twice as hard.
Chicago Way.
You bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.
That's the President of the United States.
And you look at the polling data.
Nobody wants this, folks.
The vast majority of the country does not want this health care bill.
Are they listening?
Nope.
They don't want to hear it.
They're going to ram it down our throats.
And for what reason?
It should be obvious.
It's about them.
It's about Obama, who's about nothing more than building monuments to himself.
Legacy.
FDR wants to be remembered for this and that.
What he will be remembered for is destroying the economy of the United States if he's not stopped.

They're on two phones in their home, and they were at the Kathy Castor town hall meeting last night where the SEIU people showed up, and there was a lot of thuggery going on.
Welcome to the program.
What can you tell us?
Well, I guess I'll start first because I'm the chatty one.
All right.
They already had the room half filled with Obama supporters, union organizers, whatever they were, when they opened the doors to let us in.
We managed to get to the front where they were.
Now, there were a thousand of you, right?
Right.
And they put the SEIU thugs into a side door.
They got them in there and advanced under handicapped or some sort.
Maybe that's.
In the back door.
Back door.
Okay.
Back door.
So they stacked the room with Obama supporters, which are union thugs, half of the, at a 250 capacity, right?
That's correct.
Okay, so half of them.
Now, you managed to get in out of the group of a thousand.
Well, no.
Well, we had waited an hour in line, and we were right at the doors where you're going in, and they had the doors open into the union hall, into the meeting room.
And they had a speaker outside, but it wasn't working.
And people in the hallway were yelling, let us hear.
And they thought we were saying, we want Obama, but it was let us here.
And they couldn't get the speaker to work.
So we're all standing there.
Well, people outside were going, open meeting, open meeting.
Take it outside so everybody could hear because there were so many people there.
Well, they decided too much noise was going on in the hallway and decided to close the doors.
Well, somehow, I got pushed into the room, into the meeting room, when the thugs came out.
They came out four abreast with their arms up.
I got pushed in, and my husband, who was right behind me in the green shirt, then was pushed against the wall.
My daughter managed to get over to him to try and get them off of my husband.
Why did they push him against the wall?
Because they wanted to shut the door to the room.
They were shutting the doors, and the doors opened into the hallway.
Right.
Yeah, I've seen the video.
Yeah.
And at that point, they had my husband pinned against the wall.
I was trying to get out to him, and they wouldn't let me out of the room.
Are you there standing next to a cop who's not doing about this?
Anything about it?
Is that you that I saw or is that a different frame of the video?
There was no cop there at all.
Yeah, there was.
This is a cop.
No, there was a cop inside the room who was not.
There was a woman begging this cop to get out there and stop something going on outside the room, and the cop just shrugged his shoulders.
Oh, that was inside.
Oh, and that wasn't.
I don't remember.
I don't know that I've seen that video.
I know I was begging people to let me out, and they told me I couldn't go out through that door.
I could only go out through the back door.
That was inside the right meeting hall.
At any rate, when they had my husband pinned against the wall, I was going hysterical.
We went to ask specific questions on health care.
I have read the bill.
There was no addressing of any questions.
I was in the meeting hall after they shut the doors.
I did not leave because I wanted to hear what was said.
Yeah, from the video I saw, Kathy Caster just tried to make a speech.
She wasn't entertaining questions, and people were standing up and disagreeing with her, which said various things, correct?
That's exactly it.
And when people were standing up, disagreeing, members that were supporting her were in the audience taking our pictures.
It was almost like intimidation.
Well, it was intimidation.
Because it was.
Because you're out there sabotaging democracy, Harry Reid says.
They have to get your picture to send it to the Obama snitch website, probably.
Well, I'll report myself.
Thank you very much.
I love that idea.
But my husband is not, he's not a big man in the green shirt.
He's about 5'9, weighs about 170.
He has stage 4 cancer.
He has a severed rotator cuff, a port in his chest, and an ileostomy.
When they shoved him against the wall, I was telling them this: let me out.
Let go of him.
You're hurting him.
He's sick.
They kept right on doing it and wouldn't let me out and wouldn't let him go.
The man with the ripped shirt then came in to help my husband.
And his shirt got ripped in by the thugs.
All right, now I know who you are.
Your husband wearing a button-down green shirt.
This guy was like a t-shirt.
Yes.
Green shirt.
Okay.
Yes.
So the initial attack was against my husband because he was standing at the doors as they closed, and they didn't want him in, so they shoved him back.
All right, now, I've got about a minute here.
You lived through this.
You saw all this.
You've heard about what happened in St. Louis.
You've heard about what happened in Detroit and Houston, some of these other places.
Right.
What in the world do you think as a citizen after all this?
Well, I'm distressed.
I'm a union member, and I went there specifically for my cause of.
Are you a Republican or Democrat?
I switched parties last year.
I was 38 years a Democrat.
So you're a member of a union, and you went to find out what the health care plan was about.
That's correct.
I know what the health care plan is about.
You went to find out if your congresswoman knew what it was about.
Yes, you got it.
That's correct.
I had a tablet of the talking points that I wanted to talk about.
Okay, so final question.
Did what happened to you and your husband intimidate you?
Are you going to shut up and slink back into the background now?
Oh, we're angrier than ever.
That's why we're calling you, and you can put our last name on the air.

Folks, yesterday on this program, I had a pointed and very factual reaction to Nancy Pelosi accusing those of you showing up at tea parties of wearing swastikas.
Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, said that you are Nazis.
The leader of the Democrats in the Senate, Harry Reid, said you are sabotaging democracy.
You are sabotaging the Democrat process.
This was all very irritating to elements of state-controlled media.
Not what Pelosi or Reeds, in fact, they didn't even talk about that.
In fact, did you know the other day Congressman William Jefferson of Louisiana was convicted?
In the New York Times, they never once mentioned his party, which is why when I kept referring to him, it was always Congressman William Jefferson, Democrat Louisiana.
They never put his party affiliation in.
And so when reporting on what I said yesterday about the similarities between the radical leadership of the Democrat Party and the Nazi Party of Germany, they have had a cow.
They have gone ballistic.
And it's interesting that they have left out who started it.
They have left out on purpose, or maybe they don't even know because the sources that provide them are well known to take things out of context.
I think you're right, Sterdley.
I think they know.
I played it.
It was Nancy Pelosi who started it.
In fact, play number seven, this is what started it all.
This is, it's a distant mic in a hallway in San Francisco General Hospital.
Nancy Pelosi gets a question.

Good day, the anchor Mark Saxonmeyer.
Rush Limbaugh under fire this morning from Democrats who are comparing the president's campaign logo to the Nazi swastika.
An image on Limbaugh's website is infuriating Democrats who claim that he's gone too far this time.
The image morphs from the campaign logo to an image of a swastika.
On his radio show, Limbaugh said, quote, and if you go and take a look at this, you will find that the Obama healthcare logo is damn close to a Nazi swastika.
Barack Obama is asking citizens to rat each other out like Hitler did.
Rush Limbaugh is also now calling himself the mob father, taking credit for organizing the mobs at the healthcare town halls.
Mr. Saxonmeyer, I assume you consider yourself a journalist.
Did you leave out the Pelosi bit in your report?
Did you fail to mention that Nancy Pelosi called all the people showing up to these town hall meetings Nazis?
By the way, his healthcare logo looks damn like the Nazi logo.

Rush Limbaugh stirring the pop by comparing the left to Nazis and why not?

Is that productive?
At what point does the right have to come down on Rush, or does somebody on the right actually try to have to help solve a problem?

We are trying to prevent a disaster here.
And if you had any gonads whatsoever, you'd learn what's in this healthcare debacle, and you'd be warning people about it yourself.

No mention here that what spurred this was the Speaker of the House calling ordinary citizens Nazis.

I do not know where to begin, but I'm going to start with Bob Schrum.
Bob, I thought I heard everything.
They are insanely against pollution.
Well, there you have it.
Anybody who's against pollution is a Nazi.
I mean, it's the most amazing thing.
I mean, this guy is an entertainer.

It's despicable drivel.
It's factually wrong.
You know, there were big German companies like Crooks who helped fund the Nazi Party movement.
It's hard to believe since I've seen all these pictures of diplomatic conferences held in Germany with high German officials there in World War II before World War II where they're all smoking.
I don't think they banned smoking.
He's just made this up.
I have not made any of it up.
You know, I could easily say I'm illustrating absurdity by being absurd, but I'm not being absurd.
Nancy Pelosi called us Nazis.
And by the way, Nancy Pelosi is not the first Democrat to call us Nazis.
Let's go back to Barack Obama himself.
In 2001, on a Chicago FM radio station being interviewed, Obama's talking about the courts and America.
Just to take a sort of a realist perspective, is that there's a lot of change going on outside of the court that the judges have to essentially take judicial notice of.
I mean, you've got World War II.
You've got the doctrines of Nazism that we are fighting against that start looking uncomfortably similar to what's going on back here at home.
Well, I think I just heard Barack Obama in 2001 refer to the doctrines of Nazism that we're fighting here in our court system.
And then let's go back to June 14th of 2005, Senator Dick Durbin, also from Illinois, on the floor of the U.S. Senate.
If I read this to you and didn't tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have happened by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime, Paul Potter, others, that had no concern for human beings.
Sadly, that's not the case.
This was the action of Americans in treatment of our their own prisoners.
So there you, I'm sure you remember this, Dick Durbin referring to interrogators and uniformed military personnel at Guantanamo Bay as no different than Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or Pol Pot.
So you people on the left, you've been throwing out, I mean, you guys have the signs Bush Hitler out there all over the place.
You've been throwing this around left and right because you don't like to debate the issues.
You can't dare debate the issues of this health care bill.
You cannot dare.
You don't have the issues on your side.
If anybody's sabotaging democracy, it's today's Democrat Party.
If anybody is sabotaging democracy, it's President Barack Obama and his administration.
If anybody's sabotaging democracy, it is the leaders of the House and Senate Democrats who are ramming legislation through without any committee hearings, without any debate.
If there is a sabotage of the Democrat, the Democratic system, it is being conducted by the Democrat Party.
We had a call yesterday from somebody who said, you can do all you want here, Rush.
If we're not able to outspend Obama, they're not going to matter.
I have a friend who has been working extremely hard raising money to fund commercials, television ads, to run this month and into September and as long as possible before they take the vote.
And I told this friend, I don't, if I get into fundraising, I got a problem because everybody's going to want me to plug their website to fundraise.
And I've got a philosophical block against fundraising, and it's why I could never run for office because I could never ask anybody for a dime.
But there is a point here.
A lot of people are asking, what can they do?
What can they do?
What can they do?
And they're working on their big corporate donors here, but they need individual smaller donations to start running some of these ads.

They are doing the Lord's work.
They are trying to come up with, one of the problems here is that corporate donations to activities who are opposed, organizations opposed to health care are not happening.
Corporations are scared to death of Barack Obama.
And corporations are some of them quite eager to offload their health care plan that you now enjoy onto this public option.
So normally a source of money to help produce some of these ads is not there, the corporate sector.
They're just too scared.
They literally are scared to death of being discovered to have contributed to an anti-Obama.
And you can't blame him.
He's firing the chief executive of General Motors.
He's taking over two auto companies and so forth.
So if getting involved, do you mean sending some money to some people are going to use it right?
Produce some TV commercials that will run and keep this momentum going.

Specter was not exactly a icon there of comfort.

Spector Specter singing, whoa, what is happening here?
Where am I?
Well, I think she was completely caught off guard, and she just, she tilted her head, she sighed, she tried to fake a smile, and then she just glared at that woman, and her body language was saying, how dare you, you little surf, how dare you talk to me like that?
And it's just, I tell you what, these people, I think the backlash to all of this stuff is going to surprise them.
They were caught off guard there, and I tell you what, Rush, thank you.
I think they, I think you're right, I don't think they understand the groundswell that's boiling over out there.
Not just this, just the whole imperial nature of what they're doing.
Let me find Victor Davis Hansen has put it very well.
If we find the right stack here, let's pick this up, move this out of the way, put this stack here, because you've won't take long to find this, but it's just the here it is.
It's just the whole, it's the whole mix of everything.

The approval ratings on nearly every one of the president's key initiatives, cap and trade, healthcare overhaul, government takeover of industry and finance, deficit spending stimulus are already less than half of polled voters.
Obama's own popularity has fallen dramatically and hovers near 50%.
Why the sudden uproar?
Well, there's a growing sense of we've been had bait and switch.
Millions of moderate Republicans, Independents, and conservative Democrats, apparently angry at Bush for Iraq and big deficits, unimpressed by the McCain campaign, intrigued by the revolutionary idea of electing an African-American president, voted for Obama on the assumption that he was sincere about ending red state, blue state animosity.
They took him at his word that he was going to end out-of-control federal spending.
They trusted that he had real plans to get us out of the economic doldrums, that he was not a radical tax and spend liberal of the old sort.
Instead, within days, Obama set out plans that would triple the annual deficit.
He intends to borrow at a record pace that will double the aggregate debt in just eight years.
He not only took over much of the auto and financial industries, but also did so in a way that privileged unions, politically correct creditors, and those insider cronies who favor administration initiatives on matters racial.
His administration is shrill and retrograde, not forward-looking.
It insists on emphasizing the tired old identity politics that favor a particular sort of racial elite that claims advantage by citing past collective victimization.
In other words, the Obama swing voter thought he was getting a 21st century version of pragmatic triangulating Bill Clinton.
Instead, got something to the left of 1970s, Jimmy Carter.
How strange that highly compensated, privileged D.C. technocrat deprecates the manifestation of success of the small businessman while bailing out the Wall Street buccaneers who have so lavishly donated to the past Obama cause.

He goes on to contrast all of the hypocrisy.
Al Gore, for example, preached the evils of D.C. insiderism, the need for a new independent TV network, then sends two employees to North Korea.
He's gotten rich, lying about the environment while flying around in jets and having a huge house that pollutes on its own.
