Time Text
Greetings, my friends.
Welcome back, Rush Limbaugh, serving humanity simply by showing up here on the Excellence and Broadcasting Network.
All right, folks, I I am going to say what everyone else is thinking.
And I know that you are thinking it.
Because everybody's thinking it.
Did Bill Clinton hit on those two female journalists on the long flight home from North Korea?
I'm I'm not how can I say it?
I'm not saying he did, but given his past, it does cross one's mind.
I ran a little test.
I asked Snerdley, I said, Snerdly.
When you saw that airplane landing in Burbank this morning, what did you think?
He said, I didn't it did not hesitate a split second.
I wondered if Clinton was hitting on those two women.
Everybody was you ever wondered why Democrat presidents have to send ex-Democrat presidents to resolve problems like this?
And the Norx, by the way, the Norks are saying that Clinton apologized in order to get uh the uh the two journalists released.
I want to go back and I'm gonna play this this montage that we played right before the end of the previous hour about the the Democrat talking point now on the mob showing up at all of these town hall meetings.
Well dressed middle class people in pinks and limes, the Brooks Brothers brigade.
The last time I saw well dressed people doing this was when Al Gore asked me to go down to Florida when they were recounting the ballots, and I was confronted with the same type of people.
Black that crowd of Republican staffers that showed up for Bush against Gore down in Florida.
It's the same kind of approach.
Brooks Brothers riot from Florida 2000.
You know, Brooks Brothers.
The sad fact is that if we let this administration get away with what it wants to get away with, all of us are going to be getting our clothes from goodwill and the salvation army.
Nobody's gonna be able to afford to go into Brooks Brothers except Michelle and Barack.
And by the way, speaking of Brooks Brothers, isn't it Michelle who got some sort of uh designer fashion award for this wardrobe that she has made popular?
I don't know who gave her the award, but she has, and they're not Brooks Brothers Brigade.
When we're all headed for goodwill and the Salvation Army.
Telephone number is 800 282-2882, if you want to be on the program, 1800-282-2882.
I have two treatments here of the let's see one is uh yeah, state run uh C state run.
Come on.
What was this?
Okay, one's CNN and one is Reuters.
The number of U.S. jobs lost in the private sector fell in July, but firms increased planned layoffs.
Data on Wednesday showed suggesting a labor market remained troubled even as the pace of job losses slowed.
Is this a comedy?
You know, I just I just had a sudden flash.
We need a new merchandise line at the uh at the EIB store at the Rush Limbaugh.com.
Mob clothes.
The mob wardrobe.
Mobware.
Mobware officially available.
We you know the problem is to do this it'd take three weeks to get a design, get a prototype and and all that, and that three weeks.
It's uh not Yeah, but I'd like the official mobware to come from my website, you know, to go along with our thriving merchandise business that uh at Club Gitmo.
Oh well.
I'll think about it.
The number of U.S. jobs lost in the private sector fell in July.
Firms increased planned layoffs, suggesting the labor market remained troubled even as the pace of job losses slowed.
This is a comedy.
This is an abject comedy.
This is journalistic malpractice.
Uh these unemployment numbers are gonna be worse, and they're higher than what is being reported because they don't count the people who have been unemployed a long time and have given up trying to find a job and are no longer getting unemployment compensation.
But we're supposed To sit here and say the pace of job losses slows at the in the same story that they tell us planned firings are up by what 31%?
That means the employers are telling surveyors they plan to lay more people off down the road.
But job losses are slowing.
Now from CNN Money.com is C and of course the recession is over.
The recession is over.
Economists surveyed by briefing.com had forecast a loss of 350,000 jobs last month.
Report says private sector jobs fell at the smallest monthly rate in nine months.
But separate surveys say planned reductions surged 31%.
And let's see, state-run AP.
The Senate has passed a 124 billion dollar agriculture spending bill that pays to add millions of people to the food stamp rolls as rising numbers of the jobless are forced into the program.
If the recession's over, why this?
If we're in rescue mode, why this?
Oh, and money for the federal school lunch program is going up 12% as well, while a popular program that gives additional food aid for poor children and pregnant women gets a 9% increase.
As the nation's unemployment rate nears 10%, a record 34.4 million people, one in nine Americans, were participating in the food stamp program as of May.
That's an increase of 650,000 people from the previous month, and up six million from the same time one year ago.
Six million more Americans are on food stamps today than one year ago, and we're being told a recession's over and the stimulus is working.
Again, they have to lie.
in order to pass their agenda.
The fourth highest ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives is said to be resting comfortably after heart valve replacement surgery today in Connecticut.
A spokesman says Congressman John Larson of Connecticut is expected to make a full recovery.
Larson is completing his sixth term in the House, serves as chairman of the House Democrat caucus.
So no pain pills for this guy, only the best medical care Congress can get.
Heart valve replacement.
No pain pills for him.
...
President Obama heads to Indiana today to tout the benefits of his stimulus plan amid signs the recession may be ending, says state-controlled associated press.
What benefits?
Food stamps?
Unemployment insurance extension.
What benefits?
Unease over the spending is one reason Obama's poll numbers on the economy have been sliding.
Vice President Biden and Cabinet Chiefs are also on the road today with a similar message.
Even as the administration braces for employment figures tomorrow that could see the jobless rate top 10%.
If we get double-digit tipping point for double-digit unemployment is gonna have a magic effect on uh on polling.
And along the same lines, Vice President Biden says the Obama administration's stimulus program is meeting its goals in reviving up the ailing economy.
Biden credited the stimulus program for the positive numbers.
What positive numbers said he can say without reservation, the stimulus is working.
The vice president command uh commented after meeting at the White House with members of the administration's economic team.
We'll see if your goals are being met as soon as tomorrow.
High unemployment must be the goal then, which exactly what I've been saying is the goal.
My friends, this is as bold and brash as I have ever in my life seen a politician or an administration lie.
We are in the throes of one of the worst economic periods in my lifetime.
I'm 58, maybe the worst.
And we're being told it's getting better.
All right, brief timeout.
We'll come back.
It's time to get some of your phone calls in when we get back.
Uh so we'll do that.
Stay with us.
800 282-2882.
Your guiding light, Rush Limbaugh.
Don't doubt me.
Okay.
To the phones.
We'll start in West Union, Illinois, with Diane.
Thank you for calling.
Thanks for waiting.
Great to have you here.
Oh, great to talk.
I'm so angry.
I mean, I've been upset before about this, but now I'm just so angry about this commercial.
They are just betraying us.
It's just mindless people working for insurance companies, lobbyists.
I mean, we are citizens expressing our rights.
Are we just supposed to sit idly by persuade our parents to die?
No.
They know what to do, know what's good for us.
You're supposed to get mad exactly what you're doing.
The people, the citizens, they need just to get up off their hands and express their opinion.
They are.
I mean, everybody.
They can't just sit there and say, well, it's all gonna work out and then wonder why later on.
You know, every every is a guy the flag.
They're just a guest.
You know, we just can't continue letting this administration get away with it.
They say he's gonna go down as you know the most popular president, but he's also him, his administration, any governor, any senator that votes for this are gonna go down as most despised people ever.
That's exactly right.
That's what I've been saying all morning or afternoon.
The uh the blue dog democrats have got a big decision to make here.
This is the kind of emotion that's out all over the country.
The president of the United States and his party are attacking the people who make this country work.
Grab audio soundbite number one.
Listen to the ad.
If you missed it, this is what she's talking about.
Audio soundbite number wing extremist Republican base is bad.
They lost the election.
They lost on the Recovery Act, the budget, and children's health care.
They've lost the confidence of the American people after eight years of failed policies that ruined our economy and cost millions of jobs.
Now, desperate Republicans and their well-funded allies are organizing angry mobs, just like they did during the election.
Their goal?
Destroy President Obama and stop the change Americans voted for overwhelmingly in November.
It will break him.
I hope he fails.
They have no plan for moving our country forward, so they've called out the mob.
The mob.
You are the mob.
The mob is tort lawyers and public sector union bosses who paid for that ad for the Democrat Party to be able to call you a mob, a mindless, brainless mob wearing Brooks brothers' clothes.
Remember, they have to lie to you in order to have any hope of getting you to support their agenda.
The thing is, Obama's lobbying the wrong people.
Obama needs to be lobbying Democrats in Congress.
They're the only ones that can stop this.
And by doing what he's doing, he is arousing an opposition and a passion and a patriotism and an anger at him and his party.
He may very well be destroying a Democrat Party.
We'll know in not too long a time.
Jim in Chicago, great to have you, sir.
Welcome to the EIB network.
Hello, Rush.
Hi.
Oh, I wanted to talk about the uh I wanted to compare Obama's leadership to um Lec Valenza and Nelson Mandela.
They were two very popular activists in their countries.
People loved them like crazy, and eventually they became head of state and they just they just didn't have the skills to do it.
And I think Obama's in the same mode as those two guys.
Well, uh give me the similarities between Obama and uh and Mandela.
Well, I can't give you specifics, but uh just in a general rule, especially the main guy I know about, of course, is Obama, you know, living here with him.
Um he seems to be unable to to wear the head of the manager or the uh corporate person.
He can't relate to them as well as he relates to the activist piece.
Well, I had experience as as uh as a chief union steward for a while, and I know that there were certain stewards on our committee who couldn't relate to the managers' needs and what they had to do with the government.
Obama cannot relate to an average person.
He has no clue.
He is above them.
He's an elitist.
He holds average people in contempt.
He looks at them as stupid and and and malleable.
He can make them do and think and believe anything he wants.
I have a question.
Will Obama and the DNC and will Pelosi and Will Reed and all Democrats be returning contributions to their PACs from insurance companies?
Or contributions their campaigns receive from insurance executives and employees.
You know, we could find out.
I just saw a list of comp of people at work at Brooks Brothers and who they donated to.
Very few Democrats.
It's interesting.
I'll bet you Brooks Brothers was chosen precisely because they don't have a whole lot of executives I could find anyway who have donated to Democrats.
Schumer got some money and uh and Specter, who is now a Democrat.
But if the insurance companies of these big demons are the Democrats, Obama, Pelosi, Reed, the whole party, going to have their political action committees return all the donations they've gotten from insurance companies and insurance company executives.
Of course they won't.
Jim, thanks for the call.
This Tom also in Chicago.
Great to have you on the EIB network, sir.
Hello.
Hello, Rush.
Uh, love your show.
Thank you.
Um, I was reading uh yesterday your recent Limbaugh letter, which is excellent.
Uh, in your interview, I said I think Mr. Ladine.
And he here you made the point that the Japanese attacking the United States was really the event that uh got us into the war and uh in effect saved the saved the world, so to speak.
Right?
Isn't isn't what's going on right now with the overreach by Obama and the left wing left wingers and the in the in Congress.
Isn't maybe this the attack on the economy that's gonna wake us all up?
I think it's a combination of things that are gonna wake us all up.
What he is talking about, I talked to Michael Ladine, the interview for the current issue of the uh of the Limbaugh Letter, and you know, we're talking about Iran uh and how are we gonna stop Iran?
What's gonna happen to stop Iran?
We're just the the the news is, and I haven't even talked about this last couple days because we're trying to save our economy and country right now on the domestic side.
But the uh chief mullah, the chief Ayatollah, Ayatollah Khamenei.
Apparently they're just waiting for the word from him to go nuke up.
And then we had the U.S. intelligence uh report, this thing that people put out, not from the White House, that's prepared for the president, that said uh back in 2006, I think it was, or maybe 2007, that there was no nuclear program.
But it was made out like Bush was lying about that again, and Cheney was lying about it.
It turns out that's not true, of course.
So Ledean was saying, what's I I was asking him, what's gonna stop this?
Are we gonna have to get engaged military?
He said, No, we we don't move until we have to, Rush.
It's a history of the United States.
And he said, What got us into World War II?
It wasn't what Hitler did.
We have if it was just contained to Hitler, we probably wouldn't have done anything.
But when the Japanese attacked us, we had no choice, and then we had to get involved everywhere.
So I said, Well, what what's the equivalent of that vis-a-vis Iran?
I don't know.
We're just going to have to wait and see.
But he was saying he was not confident that there's anybody in this country with the courage to do anything to stop them from becoming a nuclear power.
So the analogy, therefore, is the American people are being awakened.
And they're being awakened not just by the destruction of the economy.
They are being awakened because they are finally seeing the real Barack Obama, and it's nothing like the man they thought they elected.
This is an utter cold, mean-spirited partisan liar.
A man who has to lie about his agenda in order to get people to support it.
Because he can't be on.
This is why the Democrat Party will eventually implode and fail.
They cannot be honest about what their intentions are.
They cannot be honest about policies at all.
They have to lie.
You often hear people complain a Republicans don't have any strategy, or the Democrats have a strategy they're always doing, some are always in motion.
Why not Republicans?
Very simple.
The Republicans make the mistake, and it is a mistake in our culture these days, of relying on facts.
That they think the power of facts will overwhelm and win the day.
We're up against a bunch of people who are lying through their teeth, sounding not that much different from Republicans, when their agenda is 180 degrees different, but their strategy is to lie and to fool and to get somebody as a candidate who is a smooth talker and speaks in platitudes and comes off as messianic.
Not only does he lie, he sounds excellent doing it.
Sounds trusting and confident, educated, smart, clean, as Biden said, but it's going to implode because people are awakening now.
Hi, welcome back, Rush Limbaugh serving humanity.
As usual, half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair.
I have an interesting uh story here in the Washington Times, the headline, government study climate bill spells gloom for jobs.
Despite President Obama's prediction that it would create new jobs, the climate change bill passed by the House will mean fewer jobs by 2030 than if Congress did nothing at all, according to the first comprehensive study of the measure by Obama's own government.
The report by the Energy Department's Energy Information Administration said the bill would lead to small increases in electricity costs for consumers, what Democrats said was an affordable sacrifice for the environmental benefits of lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
We can move to a clean energy and a clean energy future at a cost of less than a postage stamp per family per day, said Energy Secretary Stephen Chu.
The report said the average cost to a household by 2020 would be 114, but that's not true, because in Australia it has been a debacle.
Utility bills have skyrocketed under the same kind of plan.
So what is Obama?
Is is he is he is he just a liar or is he just an inexperienced fool.
Well, why do you think, Don?
Don thinks he's a liar.
Why limit ourselves?
Why can't he be both?
Because he is.
He's never run anything.
All he's done is agitate people and get them to act as mobs.
He's a community agitator, organize people to attack the private sector.
The job creators.
Barack Obama is a walking, talking destroyer.
I mean, the American people are losing jobs.
Obama has pushed legislation to guarantee more jobs will be lost with this stupid green energy cap and trade bill.
His own government now says it's going to cost us jobs.
He said he would create over three and a half to four million jobs within two years.
Wrong.
He is going to destroy three and a half to four million jobs within two years.
If this keeps up.
Don in Philadelphia, you're next on the EIB network, sir.
Hello.
Hey, Rush, it's a tremendous honor to speak with you.
I'm one of the I'm one of the Brooks Brother organizers of the uh protest rally in at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia against uh Obamacare that was uh actually a town hall meeting featuring uh Spector's Town Hall meeting speech uh uh featuring uh Kathleen Sebilius.
Right.
Um I I have to tell you, I think one of the most insulting aspects of this whole thing is the idea that it is not coming from the grassroots.
We weren't working with any national organization.
We called for this, we initiated uh this protest uh via our organization, Independence Hall Tea Party Association, which was formed right after the April, April tax week uh Tea Parties.
Let me tell you something, Don.
Let me tell you something.
Let me let me let me tell you something.
They know this.
They know it.
They know exactly who you are, and that's what scares them.
They know you're not one of their own mobs.
They know you are genuine, they know you are real, they know your roots grow grass.
Their roots grow astro turf.
They know everything, and everybody in your group is real.
That's why they're out tarring and feathering and trying to impugn you.
Because you are real.
They are not real.
They know exactly who you are.
You ought to be outraged that the president of the United States is trying to discredit a majority of American citizens and have the rest of the country think that you are something that you are not when it is his group.
Acorn that does exactly what he's accusing you of doing.
He's the agitator.
He's the one that said if they bring a knife, we bring a gun.
He's the one that told his supporters, I want you to get in their face and argue with them.
He's the guy that inspires the kind of behavior he wants people to think you're engaged in.
They know damn well you're showing up because you're ticked off at the substance of what he's trying to do, and that you're more informed than these buffoons that he's sending out to defend it.
You notice he won't defend it personally.
You know, he won't have a debate.
Mr. President, let's have a debate about singer payer, single payer.
Let's have a debate about it.
He will not debate anybody the specifics.
He goes out, speaks in platitudes like a gutless wonder sends all these other people out there to take the arrows.
Sibelius has to go out there and take the arrows.
Biden has to go out there and take the arrows.
Specter has to go out there and take the arrows while he's out there in Elkhart, Indiana, lying to people whose town's been destroyed because of his policies.
With the RV capital, and this is a guy that wants RVs in a river.
work.
I I they know exactly who you are.
They know exactly who every one of the opposition is.
And their means, their intention is to get you off the playing field.
Not to debate you.
Not to engage you and try to persuade you.
Obama clears the playing field, but he doesn't even he won't even have the courage to debate this with Peep.
He gets stacked audiences that a state-run ABC gives him in the White House for an infomercial on his health care plan.
And all he does to deflect the criticism is tell people things which aren't true about his plan.
If there's any disinformation on Obamacare, it's coming right from him and the Democrat Party.
He is saying, for example, that there will be no end to private insurance.
You like your insurance, you'll be able to keep it.
We just want another competitor out there, the government.
That'll bring these evil insurance companies in the line.
Take away some of their immoral profits.
And yet Barney Frank and Jan Schakowsky and a bunch of other Democrats are running around happily talking about how they can't wait to get the single-payer bill.
And how the strategy is to make it happen.
You gotta go public option first, and you gotta let people keep their insurance for a while, but one slight change in there finished.
They gotta go public option.
And then all the businesses that want to offload their health care will force you to go public option.
That's exactly what they want.
They want to kill the market.
They don't want to compete with it.
Obama's whole strategy is kill the opposition, clear the playing field in a political sense, folks.
But he wants to kill off private insurance.
He wants to kill it.
And he knows we've got tape.
We said it played it.
He can't do it right off the bat.
May take ten years, but that's the goal.
That's the objective.
He knows damn well you know this.
He knows damn well that you genuinely oppose it.
The president of the United States, who is president of all of us, has decided to take aim at over half of the American people as political opponents.
He is not even wasting his time on Republicans.
He's going after average citizens.
And his blue dog Democrats, they better be paying attention.
If they go along, they can't, they're running a scam on everybody trying to tell us they're fiscal conservatives.
They vote for this.
There's nothing fiscally responsible about it, much less conservative.
They vote for this, they're no different than the average leftist leading the House of Representatives.
Expansion of government, loss of liberty, loss of freedom.
That's not what the people who elected them thought they were.
And you blue dogs, I'm telling you, if you, if you want to find out what happens to people who promise one thing in a campaign and go to Washington and govern in a totally different way, go call the Republicans who lost house races in 04, 06, and 08.
You talk to them and find out why they lost.
They didn't govern as they promised.
They didn't govern and represent the people who sent them there.
And the blue dogs, you people are facing the same situation.
You had a who do you want to side with?
You want your buddy to be Pelosi, the tort lawyers, and the public sector union bosses?
Or do you want your friends to be your constituents?
Back in a second.
Welcome back.
We go back to the phones of Warsaw, Wisconsin, and Jeff, thank you for calling, sir.
Nice to have you here.
Well, Rush, I hope you say that after my call.
I've listened to you for years, and I love you, and I'm gonna say to you nice try, but you're wrong.
You're wrong about the wise conservative to the core American people.
I want to know how the wise conservative to the core American people stuck us with the president who is the who was the most far left voting candidate ever.
My God, this guy is starting to make Bill Clinton look like George Washington.
I tell you, and the wise conservative to the core American people are responsible for this.
How in the world, I'm just a I I'm just a lunhead sitting here in Wassa, Wisconsin.
I knew this guy was the most far left voting Senate candidate.
I could see through the lies before this guy got elected.
I mean, how in the world could not the rest of the conservatives of the core American people see that?
I mean, American people, are you listening to me?
You're smart at some things.
You're you're whiz bang at technology and things like that, but in politics, you're dumb and you're getting dumber.
Could you turn off American idol for for a frickin' thirty minutes?
Could you turn off watching crab fishermen for a frickin' thirty minutes and find out what the hell is going on in your country?
Here we are now.
We got this guy for another what, three years, and I tell you this rush, I'll bet you a chase of cat food for your cat, whatever it likes.
This guy is a lock.
He is an absolute lock to win reelection.
I don't care if there's 40% unemployment and cities are in flames, this guy is a lock because the American people are smart in some things, but in politics, they're dumb and they're getting dumber by the hour.
We got this guy now, we're stuck with him.
Thanks, wise conservative to the core American people.
Thanks a lot.
Sarah Palin, if you're if you're listening out there, dear, I love you.
Stay out of it.
Next time, that's g it's gonna be nothing but baby baby baby, that goofy ex fiance is gonna be trying to earn every dime he possibly can.
He's gonna be on every far left TV show that he possibly can get out there.
They're gonna destroy you, honey.
They're gonna destroy you.
Take it easy.
Enjoy some fishing, enjoy life in Alaska, stay out of it.
The American people in politics are dumb and they're getting dumber.
Rush.
I've I've I I've tried my best to contain myself.
I still love you, I'm still gonna listen to you.
I don't know what you think about me now.
Well, I love you.
Oh, you do?
Yeah.
Even though I say, uh this is uh this is a uh this is a great call.
Well, thanks.
I didn't expect that.
Well, we don't always judge the quality of calls on whether the caller makes sense.
Passion, passion wait a minute, I gotta think about that.
Passion is the key.
Passion is the key.
Now passionate caller is not making any sense.
To me, I make perfect sense.
Uh I know you're making perfect sense to yourself, but but but uh I know you you passionately believe everything you said.
You basically said the American people are a bunch of idiots.
They're not a bunch of idiots, not across the board, but in politics.
Look, in pa look, McCain, McCain, the war these war heroes.
I love him for what he did in the Han Oi and the Han O Hilton, but these war heroes, they come back and they get witless when they go into politics.
The guy wanted to be the great statesman.
The guy wanted to be fair play, above the fray.
What did it get you, Mr. McCain if you're living if you're listening out there?
What did he get you?
Two more votes?
Obama won't beat you in a landslide.
The most far left guy, a community organizer, beat the war hero in a landslide.
You tell me the American people are not dumb in politics.
Well, if hang on a second, let me address this.
All right.
I would give the American people.
Yes.
If you take the you look at that campaign as it was run, I think it was pretty damn smart not to vote for McCain.
Well, might as well have not been over.
The reason it was smart, not because he wasn't a conservative.
That's true.
The whole Republican Party has gone south trying to become Mr. and Ms. Moderate, Mr. and Ms. Anything's going to happen rush with these people that if they get back into Congress the next year, it's gonna be the same thing.
Oh, they're talking now.
But as soon as they get back into Congress and we want to reach a great Democrat.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
I'm just I'm I mean, if you're this fatalistic, if there's no solution to this, I think you should go to Alaska, go fishing with Sarah and Todd Taylor.
Okay, please correct me then.
Please correct me.
Give me some hope.
Well, I want to I just want to change the premise.
I want to go back and have you relive that campaign.
Yeah.
You were smart enough to figure out Obama, but most people who were getting a lot of their news from the uh state-run media had listened to seven years of how absolutely rotten Bush was.
Bush never defended himself, leaving his voters out to dry.
They were never defended.
He never defended himself.
The lies that the media told about the economy, the war in Iraq, domestic spying, the American people wanted change anything.
But you put up the war hero and the one foot in the grave campaign he ran versus this smooth talking, eloquent uh liar, who had people believing they're going to get the exact opposite of what they got.
People wanted what Obama was promising.
Now you may have been smart enough to see it, but people vote emotionally in a lot of cases.
But in addition to falling for Obama, the people who didn't fall for him really had nowhere else to go.
There wasn't there was no passion.
Like you've got passion.
There wasn't any passion in the Republican electorate.
Are the American people going to be smarter the next time around?
Well, I this is what my theory is that real life experience.
This guy's not who he said he was.
This guy's a fraud.
He's practicing deceit.
Their lives are being destroyed while he tells them they're being rescued.
Now, at some point, people are smart enough to know that they can't afford food.
They're smart enough to know when they don't have a job to go to.
They're smart enough to know when their spouses start complaining to them about hanging around the house all day.
They're smart enough to know gasoline prices start going up.
They're smart enough to know they can't afford a new car unless the government gives them $4,500.
They're smart enough to know a lot of things as they live them.
Well, Rush, let's hope three years from now when that old Obama campaign begins rolling again, they're smart enough to know then, too.
To hell with three years.
Twenty ten.
Twenty-tend, there's gotta be there's gotta be some stop to this agenda.
Only if you are Speaker of the House.
And keep them guys in line.
Or maybe the whip.
Maybe that would be the speaker of the American House.
Rush, I know you gotta let me go.
I still love you.
I think you're wrong about this, but I hope you can prove me wrong.
Well, I hope it's not it to me, uh, the American people.
I have faith they will prove you wrong.
I have I have I have faith that they do you not take any heart and solace in the fact that Obama's cratering issue by issue in the polls.
He's cratering right now, but I got a feeling that he's gonna come bouncing back for some reason.
I don't care, I don't know what maybe it'll be a war that lands in his lap or something or something.
All right.
Here's the key for you.
This is if the election was next week, maybe so.
Well, look at it.
I'm not quitting.
No, I'm not quitting either.
I certainly sure as hell don't want you to.
Now, look, let this here's here's here's the thing, because I do now have just just one minute.
The key to all this is taking back the Republican Party so that we have a political vehicle to advance the conservative movement, Jeff.
The American people, by every legitimate study, is more conservative than liberal.
We have to have a nominee who is conservative, who can speak conservatism, who can speak American patriotism, who can respond to left-wing arguments, who is confident in his knowledge.
This is the challenge.
The challenge we have is making sure the moderates, the genuine stupid elitists in our own party do not control it.
Come the next two elections.
If we put up a candidate like that, we'll win.
We always do when we put up a candidate like that in national races.
We are making the case for our case on radio, in books, to have somebody to vote for, and that's how you turn out the vote in national elections, to get you, your passion lit up in everybody else to get this current agenda fixed and gone and have some, and the only way that Passion that you exhibited in this call is gonna is gonna erupt for a Republican candidate if he is or she is a genuine conservative.
And if that passion can be aroused, the Democrats don't have a prayer, especially with the damage they are wreaking on everyday people and their lives.
Look, folks, what what choice did the people have in 2008?
We had a Democrat promising to do traditional Democrat things, and we had a Republican telling us his big asset was his willingness to work with Democrats to get done what they wanted to get.
What choice did the American people have?
Give them a choice.
