The views expressed by the host on the show, documented to be almost always right, 99.1% of the time.
And that's because the host of the show is me.
Rush Limboy, meeting and surpassing audience expectations every day at the Limboy Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.
Great to have you here, folks.
Telephone number 800 282-2882.
And the email address, L Rushbow at EIBNet.com.
Here's the problem, folks, of healthcare.
As all of you know, I'm very grateful for all of you.
I appreciate every one of you, and I respect you, as you well know.
It's not an exaggeration for me to say I couldn't have done this without you.
You are the major part of this.
But having said that, something is bothering me.
And I have to unburden myself.
I try not to keep my burdens inside and stress out.
Who the hell do you think you are?
What makes you think that you deserve the same health care as members of Congress?
What are you thinking?
What makes you think you, your family?
What do you do for yourself that is as important as what each and every day a member of Congress does?
Do you not know your place?
You mean to sit there and think your family's important as Nancy Pelosi's family or Harry Reed's family or Kathleen Sabelius' family?
What demons possess you, my friends?
For heaven's sake, Harry Reed.
Why he's a senator.
He's a senator in the Senate of the United States of America.
He is a leader of the United States Senate.
What are you?
You're a statistic.
You're chump change.
You need to learn your place.
You need to understand how irrelevant you are.
You think you're as important as Obama's family?
Much as I love you, my dear listeners, you got a problem.
If you think you deserve the same health care as, say, Barney Frank, then your health care problem is mental illness.
Now I'm, of course, illustrating a point here, ladies and gentlemen, but as I watch these town meetings take place, and as I as I listen to these things, it's quite obvious.
You know, we go through in stages and cycles in this country.
Every election, there's a low vote turnout.
The drive-by media and the political class starts lamenting the low vote turn.
Oh, this is not good for our democracy.
We need people to get engaged in politics.
We peep need people to get involved.
And not by being picked up by acorn, little yellow bus and driven to the polls every two years.
We need people to really get involved.
Then when you get involved, Time magazine does stories on is there too much democracy now?
Are too many people they actually did a cover story on that based on me and this radio show success back in the 90s.
Is there too much democracy?
Are you too involved now?
And you can see it, Kathleen Sabelius, when she stands up and starts getting hell from people, average Americans of these meetings, she doesn't understand it.
She's from the government.
You are supposed to sit there, be quiet, respectful, and believe everything she says.
You just don't understand.
Whenever somebody from Washington comes to tell you how they are going to manage your health care, you're not supposed to say, who the hell are you to be managing my health care?
You're not a doctor.
You're not even a health care professional.
They don't react well to you saying and thinking that.
I mean, the crowd in a Sabelius and Arlen Spector thing, they were shouting them.
I don't know if you understood it.
You're lying.
That's a lie.
You're lying.
And Sabilius is totally taken aback because that you know, she knows she's lying, but she doesn't know that you know it.
She knows she's lying.
She knows that she's walking out there full of it.
Spectre knows he's walking out there full of it.
What they don't think is that you're supposed to know that they're full of it.
You're supposed to know your place.
Let's go back to one of these things in June.
This is a Democrat.
This is a town meeting in Setawkett, New York, June 22nd.
And it is uh Representative Tim Bishop, ripped at his own town hall meeting.
We have three sound bites.
Here's the first.
Are you a veteran?
No, I'm not.
Have you ever been there?
Have you ever been there as a vet?
Okay, and if I want to see it, Doctor, oh, I'd have to wait too much.
Do you know that?
I've been here for years.
And you're gonna tell me how they've run?
Sir.
Understand the answer.
Like why would we die in the DAO?
So don't answer us.
And you know that the CA is an efficient medical system.
It's a very difficult system.
Nothing to be proud.
I'm sorry, but I am proud of the Volume.
Well, I'm not because I have everything fire.
I am.
This whole thing started when Bishop started telling this town hall audience how proud he was of the VA system.
And so that vet just launches into him.
Now cap and trade comes up.
And another thing, you know, another thing that's happening at these town hall meetings is they don't, they are stunned at how informed you are.
They're stunned at how educated you are about what they're doing.
In many cases, you know more about legislation they're going to vote on than they do.
This next one is uh cap and trade, unidentified guy says to Bishop, Cap and Trade's got me scared to death.
The overwhelming weight of the scientific evidence is that global nothing is real.
I also believe that it's caused by new enacting.
That's true.
If in fact we go to cap and trade.
And by the way, I don't, there's no guarantee that we will at all.
Can I finish the sentence?
So you see, I'm about to tell you, but I believe that we have to reduce our carbon footprint.
I believe that we have to get polluters under control, and I believe that we have to make an investment in alternative and renewable sources of energy.
That is the only path.
All right, this guy is just, he's reading talking points.
He has been indoctrinated by Democrat Party leadership or whoever's indoctrined, because he's just mouthing talking points.
We got to reduce our carbon footprint, man-made global warming is happening, we're causing it, human activity is causing it.
We got to get invested in uh renewable energy and and uh and this sort of thing.
They have been working on, you know, markets are an amazing thing.
If there was an alternative energy out there, we'd have it.
The fact it isn't there because there's no market for it right now.
The scare tactics are really coming out.
Now, somebody uh it was a UK paper over the weekend, we are gonna hit peak oil production in ten years, and then it's downhill after that.
That's absolute BS.
Get this New York Times.
The New York Times is blaming the 2009 record cold on natural factors.
But back in the year 2000, they blamed record warmth on man-made global warming.
The media and climate fear promoters appear to be in overdrive trying to spend recent global cooling, and particularly the year without a summer in many parts of the country.
New York Times reports that the record cold of 2009s due to natural variations, even warned skeptics of man-made global warming not to be buoyed by the brutal cold.
The New York Times remarkable front page article, July 31st, 2009, titled In New York, It's the Summer That Isn't, by the reporter Sam Roberts, detailed all the record-breaking cold summer in New York.
But then back in 2000, they blamed all that record heat on global warming.
Global warming is no different than health care, is no different than cap and trade.
It is simply another branch of liberalism, statism that is designed to expand government control over individuals and their liberty and their freedom and their income.
It's just that simple.
And the worms turning on global warming, too.
Do you realize the worms turning on that?
Uh more and more people uh not buying this health care business uh whatever whatsoever.
The numbers on that are expanding with every poll.
And if this plays out right, and we gotta we're gonna have a big role in this.
We uh you could you could uh you can do some great damage culturally to liberalism for a long time.
Now they're never gonna go away, and they're always gonna keep trying this stuff.
But they're now out in the open and they're saying some of the most outrageous things that betray their real intentions.
And their intentions are not what people want.
Liberalism statism is not what people want.
Here's the final soundbite from Tim Bishop's June 22nd Town Hall in Satalkett, New York.
He gets a question from somebody to name a government agency that runs well.
It's running beautifully and make money, sir.
We are please stop.
That would be a relative question.
Please answer that.
Okay, stop talking.
I'd be happy to answer.
No one is talking about the government taking over healthcare.
Oh, no, no.
It's a question of time.
It's a question of time.
Nobody is talking about the government taking over health care, and his this is a Democrat.
This is a Democrat of New York.
And his constituents are not buying it.
This is back in June 22nd.
We'll be back right after this.
And we're back at 800-282-2882 to Syracuse, Indiana.
And this is Chris.
I'm glad you waited, sir, and welcome to the program.
Thank you.
Hello?
Hi.
Oh, I'm sorry you're a female.
That's why you got confused.
I'm sorry I didn't say that.
Oh, I'm not confused.
I think maybe you are.
Oh I'm I know I'm a female.
They're one of these.
I'm I was apologizing to you for calling you sir, and that's okay.
All right.
Okay, okay.
I I I said Chris instead of Christine to the uh screener.
Yeah.
All right.
It's all my fault.
Just a misunderstanding.
Anyway, I'm calling because I was listening to your program Driving Friday, and I heard about your Red Democrats facing horrors at town halls.
And then I listened to um Richard Wolf on MSNBC, and he informed me that uh most of these uh town hall um hoopla is coming from an organization.
Well, actually, uh it's a right-wing organization, and uh they are in cahoots with um insurance cut me, and it's the same group that has orchestrated the um teabags, and that most of this is all orchestrated,
that some of the individuals are being busted to these town hall meetings for Democrats, and um and uh they are being told to uh be disruptive, they're being instructed how to logistically stand in different portions of the room so that they uh they get more bang for their buck.
And um I was wondering if you had heard about that.
No, uh NBC is not a credible source with me.
Uh NBC But politico is um not everything on political is, but NBC clearly is not.
Uh and Richard Wolf, uh But let's let's ignore the source and let's play a game, Chris.
Let's assume it's true.
Let's assume that everything you heard is true.
Okay.
You know my reaction?
What?
About damn time.
We have had groups like Acorn and Democrat Retomobs making up excuses and lying about things they oppose to affect public policy for years while people like me haven't had time because we work.
We do not protest for a living.
We do not rent ourselves out to be part of mobs.
So if this is actually an orchestrated event, then I'm glad somebody on our side's getting in gear.
I don't happen to believe it, because I happen to see the polls, and I know what Richard Wolfe and NBC are doing, Chris.
They're trying to cover for Obama.
These people are not reporting anything about the health care program.
They are repeating what they hear from the White House and from people there.
Rahm Emanuel uh Robert Gibbs, press Secretary Obama himself.
It's the definition of propaganda.
It's the definition of state-controlled media.
Um, these people, whoever they are, and wherever they're coming from, they know what's in the health bill.
They are asking questions, and members of Congress at these town hall meetings, Chris, don't know the answers.
These are informed people.
They know what's in it.
And it hasn't been because NBC and Richard Wolfe have told them.
It hasn't been because anybody at ABC or CBS or the New York Times or the Washington Post has told them what's in the health care bill.
There is an alternative media out there that's getting the news out on this, and when people find out about it, they don't like it.
I don't care.
There are a lot of Democrats that don't like this as well.
These are Democrat districts where this is taking place.
You got to understand something, too, Chris.
People know who to protest.
The Republicans can't stop anything.
The Republicans don't have the votes in the House or the Senate to stop one thing.
So why go protest Republicans?
This isn't a Republican initiative.
Republicans are not in charge of writing this health care bill.
They don't support it.
They're not in favor of it.
They have no role.
And even if the majority of the American people don't want it, there's still going to be rammed down their throats.
So I'm glad you called.
I'll check and have you heard this anywhere.
Have you heard anybody else?
I haven't heard it either.
It doesn't matter to me one way or the other.
The people who are showing up are genuinely angry.
And if they're uh transportation is being facilitated, about damn time.
You got to take these people on the way they play the game, the aggressor sets the rules in a conflict.
Now, this next story, this is this is from state controlled associated press.
Now, this story, the information in this story is a grand perfect illustration of the folly of the Obama economic program.
Tax revenues post biggest drop since depression.
The recession is starving the government of tax revenue, just as the President and Congress are piling a major expansion of health care and other programs on the nation's plate and struggling to find money to pay the tab.
The numbers could hardly be more stark.
Tax receipts are on pace to drop 18% this year, the biggest single year decline since the Great Depression, while the federal deficit balloons to a record 1.8 trillion, and it's going to come in higher than that.
Other figures underscore the impact.
Individual income tax receipts are down 22% from a year ago.
Corporate income taxes are down 57% from a year ago.
Social Security tax receipts could drop for only the second time since 1940.
Medicare taxes are on pace to drop for only the third time ever.
We have gone beyond the melee's of Jimmy Carter.
All of these job losses have led to fewer taxpayers.
These numbers make total sense.
Now the question, see, to me this is this is basic.
If you're worried about government revenue, if you really want to generate some genuine revenue rather than print it, the mechanism for doing this is taxes.
There are blueprints to show how you do this.
Let me give you the numbers again.
In 1981, Ronald Reagan was inaugurated.
The top marginal income tax rate was 70%.
And the annual take, the federal budget was around 500 billion dollars.
In 1989, Ronald Reagan left office.
The top marginal rate was 28%.
The tax take had doubled, almost doubled.
It was 950 billion, after reducing tax rates from 70% to 28%, reducing the tax rates.
Incentivized people in any number of ways.
There was job create.
But we had a recession in 82, and it was a bad one.
And we stuck with this program.
We cut people's taxes.
We got out of their way.
The economy boomed and rebuilt and went all the way through the 1990s on a gigantic roll.
Now you come to the Obama administration.
He takes office.
500, 600,000 people a month losing their jobs.
Since he's taken office, over two million people have lost their jobs.
That's two million people who are not paying taxes anywhere.
We know the value of people's homes has gone way down.
So there's no state tax revenue.
And I'll get you know something?
The states, they're going to be lagging whenever this economic recovery does start, whenever it happens, they're going to be lagging, and the Democrats are running most of these states, especially the ones that are in deep doo-doo.
And there may be hell to pay at the election at the uh in the election of 2010.
I don't think the Democrats are thinking about it.
But I have to say, I have to ask the question I don't think Obama cares about revenue.
I don't think he cares.
If I don't think Lawrence Summers cares, I don't think Rahm Emanuel cares, and I don't think Geithner cares.
The only thing they care about is convincing the ChICOMs they're going to reduce the deficit, so the Chicoms go along and continue to buy our debt.
But if they really cared about raising revenue, they would not be doing what they're doing.
What do they do?
They're printing money.
A cash for clunkers program they said is bankrupt.
The government is bankrupt.
The cash for clunkers program had no money before they put a billion dollars into it.
Where'd they get the billion?
We're running a deficit of 1.8 trillion.
Where'd the money come from?
There is no money.
They can't possibly care about raising revenue.
And to the extent that people are losing their jobs.
Well, let me finish this thought after we get back.
Tax revenues, biggest drop since the depression.
And I am I'm I'm very serious when I tell you, I don't think they care.
If they cared, they wouldn't be doing what they're doing, folks.
It's just that simple.
Let me tell you what they're doing.
Often, you know, we ask ourselves, how do we fight these people?
You know, what's the strategy?
All you have to do to find out what they're doing is read Saul Belinski's rules for radicals.
And the um the what one of the rules that they're employing here is never speak outside the knowledge of your audience.
So in in this case, and I'm paraphrasing that, but in this case, what it means, when Obama talks about his single payer state-run health care system, he uses free market words to describe it.
Competition.
You get to keep your health care.
He's lying through his teeth.
He's using comfort language, language that you're familiar with and comfortable with, private sector, uh, free market stuff, terms to describe his health care plan, just lying through his teeth.
Which makes it very difficult to disagree or argue with these people on facts because facts are not how they're selling this.
One of the biggest problems that uh Republicans and conservatives have had over the years since well, let's just date it back to Clinton.
Uh and go forward with uh whatever Democrat it is, to deal with them and refute them on facts is not to play on the field they're playing on.
They are lying.
So to just tell people that uh no the facts they're citing are wrong, you you you uh there's there's no emotional tie to facts, and it's really frustrating for people like us who are grounded in facts, who are grounded in reality.
That's why we get frustrated.
The facts don't work.
Now, in this health care debate, the facts have broken through.
The facts have broken through, and they're I just saw another poll on Obama's health care pan, or not uh on on uh his, but people being asked about their current health care.
Forty-eight percent love it.
Only 19% don't.
There are no political reasons to do this.
There is no government reason to do it, there is no practical reason, there's no common sense reason to do this massive health care reform overhaul.
It doesn't exist, yet they are going to do it.
Their reasons have nothing to do with health care.
Just as the stimulus has nothing to do with jobs.
It never was about jobs.
It was about creating chaos.
It was about expanding government.
It was about taking care of unions, people that supported Obama.
It was about taking care of things like acorn.
It was about patronage, it was about guaranteeing votes in 2010 and 2012.
And now we see the result of Obama nomics.
We've got tax revenues and their biggest drop since the Depression, and we've got a we've got a budget deficit that's gonna push two trillion dollars.
And we're all sitting here arguing over whether or not we should put another two bill into the cash for clunkers program when they've demonstrated they can't even run a one billion dollar program and get it right.
And then when you go to the CARS website, there are actual instructions and a video on how to dismantle a perfectly fine car to make it qualify.
As a clunker.
Well, why are they doing this?
Why would they tell you how to destroy your perfectly good car?
Because they're trying to get you out of cars they don't want you in.
And get you into cars.
Take a look at the cars that qualify for this.
And you'll see that they're not family sedans and they're not SUVs that you can pack mom and dad to 2.8 kids in the family pooch in.
So tax revenues post their biggest drop since the depression makes total sense.
More and more people out of work, fewer and fewer taxpayers, and what's being done to correct it?
Not a damn thing.
We're just printing more money.
Oh, oh.
Uh, forgot one big important thing to raise taxes.
On everybody.
And it's gonna just make it worse.
It's just gonna make it worse.
They start raising taxes in an economic environment like this, and more jobs are gonna be lost.
And I maintain to you that that's the purpose.
When you look, I know people don't want to believe this, and I know it's a it's it's a tough sell, but folks, we're not idiots here.
We've been at this for six months and we see it's not working, and all they're talking about is doubling down and doing the same kind of stuff only with more money, and now and adding tax increases into the mix.
Well, whoosh, why I mean, why how good why would somebody want to harm America?
Because he doesn't like it.
He thinks it's unjust and immoral and unfair.
The people that have wealth in this country have come by it in ways that he thinks they haven't deserved and been honest about.
He wants to take the nation's wealth and return it to the people he thinks deserve it.
He wants to redistribute money, so people losing their jobs, and the high income people getting their taxes raised.
It's by design.
And it's not to raise money for the treasury.
It is not to raise money to run the government.
It's to remake the country and its very foundations.
Here, some soundbite.
Start at number six, Mr. Broadcast Engineer, this morning in Virginia.
George Mason University, President Obama, speaking about the implementation of the new GI Bill.
Here's a portion of what he said.
We've lived through an age when many people and institutions acted irresponsibly.
When service often took a back seat, when hard choices were put aside for some other time.
The men and women who have served since 9-11 tell us a different story.
Well, so many were reaching for the quick butt.
They were heading out on patrol.
Barack Obama once again criticizing his own country.
America has been irresponsible.
We've lived through the age when many people in the institutions acted irresponsibly.
They went for profit.
He's getting them now.
He's getting even with them now.
Let's go back in time to March of 2007 at the Service Employees International Union Health Care Forum, President Obama.
My commitment is to make sure that we've got universal health care for all Americans by the end of my first term as president.
I would hope that we can set up a system that allows those who can go through their employer to access a federal system or a state pool of some sort.
But I don't think we're going to be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately.
There's going to be potentially some transition process.
I can envision a decade out or 15 years out or 20 years out.
He's just said, now this is 2007.
He's just explained how his plan will eliminate private insurance through your employer, and that that's his objective.
He's out lying about this when he says, if you like your coverage now, you'll be able to keep it, no problem.
We just think there should be another entity competing so that that insurance company doesn't rip you off.
Well, there won't be any competition because the government doesn't have to make a profit in their insurance program.
Universal health care.
My commitment is to make sure we've got universal health care for all Americans by the end of my first term.
That's why the hurry.
Let's go back to 2003.
This is an AFL CIO conference while Obama campaigns for the Senate.
I happen to be a proponent of single-payer universal health care plan.
Single payer health care plan.
Universal health care plan.
That's what I'd like to see.
Running for the Senate, 2003, single-payer universal health care coverage.
Well, now he's president of the United States, and he has a piece of legislation in the House of Representatives that will guarantee him just that, and they're working on one in the Senate.
But let's come back.
Let's go to June 15th of this year.
As President, Obama went to the AMA, the American Medical Association, and lied to him.
He told us what his plan is in 2007, 2003.
You just heard it.
Universal single payer health care, get rid of employer insurance.
May take 15 years to do it, but I want to get it done.
This is what he told the AMA back in June.
The public option is not your enemy, it is your friend, I believe.
Let me also uh address a illegitimate concern that's being put forward by those who are claiming that a public option is somehow a Trojan horse for a single payer system.
It most certainly is a Trojan horse for the single payer system.
Now, here's your question.
This is your dilemma.
Do you want to believe Obama?
In which case you're sunk.
You were screwed.
Which Obama do you believe?
Do you believe the two Obamas from 2003, 2007, where he talks to his supporters, of his voters, union people, but I can't wait for a single payer system wants to get rid of employer health plans, universal coverage, or do you want to believe Obama as president in trouble back at the AMA saying, oh no, no, public option is not a troch.
Which Obama do you want to believe?
Because if you believe Obama, you're sunk.
How do you choose which Obama to believe?
Here's what you do.
Believe me, I'm not lying to you.
Let me clarify something here, folks.
I've not been uh speaking accurately on this YouTube video on the on the engine disablement.
It's not, I've been saying the video shows you how to disable it to qualify.
That's not that's not what happens.
It's the instructions on the car's website are for the dealer to disable a car to make it qualify as a clunker when you bring it in.
And uh the the whole the whole point of this is if people bring in working cars, the dealers at the government's instructions disable them so that they will not run.
Would you I know it's worse, and then uh I apologize for not being clear on this, but let me just read a couple things from the government's own website on this.
This procedure is entitled Engine Disablement Procedures for the Cars Program.
This procedure is not to be used by the vehicle owner.
Perform the following procedure to disable the vehicle engine.
One, obtain solution of 40 percent uh sodium silicate, 60 percent water, and the sodium silicate must have a weight ratio of 3.0 or greater.
Number two, drain engine oil for environmentally appropriate disposal.
Wear goggles and gloves.
Appropriate protective clothing should be worn to prevent silicate solution from coming into contact with the skin.
This is all about disabling a perfectly fine car to make it qualify.
At any rate, um just said something very interesting happened at the White House.
Robert Gates just threw Geithner and Summers under the bus at the White House briefing on the so-called tax increase on people who earn less than 250,000 dollars.
Here's Gibbs being grilled, first unidentified reporter.
Why didn't Secretary Geitner and Dr. Summers say that they would not raise taxes on those families?
I did not watch the shows.
I read some of the transcripts.
I think they allowed themselves to get into a little bit of a hypothetical back and forth.
Jake Tapper follows up.
He says, look, if economists, including the president's own economists, don't necessarily think that it's possible to do so without raising taxes on the middle class.
How is that dealing candidly with the American people?
Again, Jake, there are a series of things that have to be done.
I think you'll actually hear an announcement from Treasury later this afternoon about how much money has to be borrowed versus what they thought was going to have to be borrowed and what will have to be borrowed as a result of financial stabilization in terms of cutting the amount of money that's needed.
Again, I think the president has been clear on this.
The president has been cleared.
Now the administration's not being clear.
The here's well, here we let's list the final bite.
This is where he throws them under the bus.
Another unidentified reporter, do Geitner and Summers go off script, or were they testing the temperature on it?
I don't know.
I know the president's been clear about his commitment on it.
So there's there's no real scenario there where middle class taxpayers might be hit with uh with a high.
Very clear.
President has been very clear.
He didn't say yes or no.
So the president's been very clear.
The president has been very clear.
But whether they're going to raise taxes on people or not, they already have.
With the tobacco taxes and all the uh the fat taxes that are coming, everybody's gonna get soaked tax-wise.
Property taxes are going up, income taxes in the states are going up.
So you're asking yourself, well, who do I believe here?
Do I believe Gates?
No.
Gibbs?
Do I believe Geitner?
Do I believe Summers?
Do I believe Obama?
Who do I believe?
You believe me.
If you make a choice here that you're going to believe Obama, you've got all kinds of conflicting Obamas out there over the years.
If you want to believe Geithner, then you gotta, you know, you hear Gates say there's a statement coming out of treasury this afternoon.
You know, what is that means Obama's livid here that his cover has been blown.
There's no question he's going to raise taxes on people.
How else do you take away their power?
You take away disposable income, take away purchasing power, and you have more the ability to control people even more and make them more dependent on whatever you want to transfer to them or give them.
You want to believe Summers.
I mean, they're both out there saying.
Yeah, we're gonna have to re-look it.
Now, Geithner is saying what he's saying for the Chicoms.
And I will guarantee you that what you're not hearing, and I I bet this was not asked at the White House press briefing.
But I'm sure that Geitner did not go off script.
And I'm sure that Summers did not go off script because this is not about you.
It's about the Chinese.
It's about our debt, and we're having trouble selling it.
People are becoming less trustful of the United States as an institution in pl in which to invest because of the irresponsible way the economy's being run.
That's why they have to act like they're concerned about revenue.
So Geitner and Summers, their audience was the Chicoms.
Today, they knew full well the press is gonna say, well, President's been very clear.
What they're relying on is you trust Obama.
He is the one.
And these two two little pointy head elites that went out there, eh, they're just underlings.
We'll throw them under the bus.
The real audience is the ChICOM and the Chinese are not happy.
Uh and they are being assured we're going to be doing something about the deficits.
And that means raising taxes.
It won't do anything about that.
It's going to make it worse that this is just the way the left thinks.
Here's John in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
As we go back to the phones.
Great to have you here, sir.
Hello.
Fellow greetings, Mr. Rush.
My pleasure.
Thank you, sir.
Um, I have a scenario here that's uh uh probably of great interest.
I think um, in the traditional third-party payer system, uh, when a claim is submitted, the insurance company will review it and they'll decide either to approve it or deny it.
And if it's denied, there's an appeals process.
Um this occurs both in private insurance as well as Medicare Medicaid.
My question is in the proposed uh government policies, will there be that appeals process if they deny a claim?
Uh it seems like they could generate a lot of savings that way.
What do you think?
Well, you know, they're there may be uh an appeals judge, but I have a funny feeling that he he probably swings to the left.
Um, you know, I'm sure, I'm not sure, I don't know, but my guess is for the purpose of appearances, they will have an appeals process.
But you don't want to ever get yourself involved in it because to get a decision in a timely fashion will be next to impossible.
They can't even run a one billion dollar trade-in program for a new car.
They can't even you want to get involved in an appeal of some medical procedure.
With I wouldn't be surprised if there is no appeal price.
You folks, this is not about health care.
It's not about improving your health care.
It's not about that.
Gotta go, quick time out.
Hey, got some new jobs out there, some new hires, Obama can claim.
Get this.
This is just a farce.
The Transportation Department is doubling the number of contract workers to process cash for clunkers transactions in an attempt to clear a backlog of dealer applications that grew to hundreds of thousands.
Now, a contract worker means they're hiring additional government or additional people to do this work, not people who are already in government.
