Time Text
Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
Come on, Snerdly, snap out of it in there.
I refuse to have a member of my staff sit there and look so depressed.
It just isn't going to happen.
No, I have not been watching.
I've watched enough of it.
I don't need to watch.
Look at everybody at works at CNN and MSNBC is going in for MRIs because they've blown their rotator cups out, shaking their pom-poms since yesterday for Obama.
Greetings, my friends, and welcome.
It's Rush Limbaugh.
This is the Excellence in Broadcasting Network.
Great to have you with us.
Telephone number, if you want to be on the program today, is 800-282-2882.
And the email address is lrushbow at EIBnet.com.
Have you seen, speaking of watching this stuff, have you seen Hurricane Latrina?
Hurricane Latrina has struck the Washington Wall.
Have you seen all the garbage and the refuse and the port-a-potties that are turned over over there?
Meanwhile, on his now official White House website, Obama takes a personal swipe at Bush for lying to the American people and not following through on promises to fix New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
I kid you not.
By the way, it's official.
Can't make this stuff up, ladies and gentlemen.
It's official.
Irresponsible nominee for Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, is proposing bailing out irresponsible companies to kick off the new era of responsibility.
President Obama, he says, is working on a new bank rescue.
By the way, he apologized for not paying his taxes.
So that's that.
He is working on a new bank rescue package that will be unveiled in the next few weeks.
Geithner said Obama would present a comprehensive new rescue package as part of his new era of responsibility to bail out irresponsible banks and irresponsible institutions.
Geithner said the plan would address the concerns with the first bailout managed by Hank Paulson.
Said the Treasury would begin to work more closely with the FDIC and the Federal Reserve.
I'm sure that'll be part of it, bailing out irresponsible homeowners as part of the new era of responsibility.
Rush Limbaugh, ladies and gentlemen, resisting the tug of popular sentiment as the last man standing.
I have to tell you something.
Yesterday afternoon after the program, I got home.
I was minding my own business as usual.
In fact, I was already working on today's program.
I received an email from the New York office.
It was from my trusty aide and loyal aide-de-camp, H.R. Also chief of staff.
Apparently, we caused quite a hubbub in Green Bay, Wisconsin yesterday.
Let me read the email.
This is an email sent by an anal liberal teacher to, I think, to somebody who is in management at our radio station in Green Bay.
Basically, what happened here to set this up before reading the email to you, because it's hilarious.
It's hilarious.
What happened was that they prepared the kids.
It's a middle school in Green Bay.
They prepared the kids for weeks for this most momentous day in their lives, quote unquote, the inauguration, the immaculation of Obama.
And somehow, they ended up piping my radio show through the PA system while the kids were sitting there listening to the immaculation.
And the teacher in this particular classroom was not happy with what she heard.
So here is her email to the radio station, I guess.
Dear Mr. Bader, my name is Liberal Anal Teacher.
And I contacted you via phone message earlier today.
I just wanted to put into writing my complete and utter disappointment in your radio station's choices during President Obama's inauguration speech today.
I understand that Rush Limbaugh built his career around his opinion and commentary, but I thought that even he would have the decency to honor such a historical and momentous event in our country's history.
I am a teacher at a middle school in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
It was highly unfortunate that when our school decided to broadcast Obama's speech over our PA to our student population of 1,200, our administrators randomly selected Mr. Limbaugh's program.
My students were shocked, angered, and saddened by the interruption of what was a respectful event, truly the most momentous moment of their young lives.
If I may pause and ask a question, have none of these kids seen the birth of a brother or sister?
Have none of these kids experienced Christmas morning?
This was the most momentous moment of their young lives.
Back to the email now.
We spent the morning preparing them for the event, explaining the significance of today, I'll bet they did, and what it meant for equality and our future.
Mr. Limbaugh could have and should have shown the respect the moment deserved.
I was proud of my students' conduct today, proud of the respect they showed this moment in history, and I was proud of their outrage at such an overstepping of boundaries by Mr. Limbaugh.
Sadly, due to your radio programming, I was also disappointed, disappointed to have to be present as my middle school students experienced ignorance and arrogance on such a public scale.
Following this day, Mr. Limbaugh has the next four years or longer to offer his opinion to anyone willing to listen.
For today, we were hoping to take part in a piece of history without his commentary.
My students will not forget the choices he made, nor will I forget what your radio station chose to do on this day.
Thank you for your time, Anal Liberal Teacher, Art Specialist, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Then there is a P.S. in email.
Please consider the environment before printing this email.
So when I got this email, ladies and gentlemen, I chuckled.
I was also told that there was another phone call to this station from another school in which whoever was on the phone from the school said the kids were crying.
They were reduced to tears by my commentary during the immaculation speech of Barack Obama.
Then I proceeded to print this email 150 times on my home computer after reading, please consider the environment before printing this email.
I would love to respond and say, please consider the environment before sending this email.
I think perhaps, ladies and gentlemen, what I'm going to do, by the way, I think this liberal teacher, now you know what it is like for us.
My guy, Snordley, came in here depressed because he has to listen to Drivel and Bilge 24-7 from the Drive-By Media talking about Obama.
And we've had to do this for a year and a half.
So maybe, Miss Teacher, you understand what it's like for 58 to 100 million Americans to have to listen to the tripe that is now couched as news and analysis by the Drive-By Media 24-7 regarding Obama and this new administration and America in general.
But I thought, why not turn this into an opportunity, ladies and gentlemen?
I am thinking of, in fact, grab audio soundbite number 40.
This is audio of the teacher who called our Green Bay radio station, WTAQ.
I'm not going to mention her name because I'm not trying to embarrass her or single her out.
But here is audio of her phone call prior to the email she sent the station that I just read you.
I'm a teacher in the Green Bay Public Schools.
I'm calling to complain about your radio program today.
Your radio program was unfortunately the one that was chosen to play to 1,200 students so that they could hear President Obama's inauguration speech.
And instead of being able to listen to their speech, we had to listen to a disgusting commentary from one of your announcers.
I believe it was Rush Limbaugh.
I'm very, very disappointed that you allowed this to happen.
I'm disappointed in his choice to take a wonderful moment of history and to taint it the way he did.
And there was, I guess, a PS on this before playing back this message a second time, remember the environment.
So that was the teacher.
And I guess she was not satisfied with the phone message.
So she sent the email.
Wonderful moment of history.
You know, indoctrination is going on in the public schools all over the place out there.
And this is, I mean, the examples of it that I've cited for you here in southern Florida, South Florida, where teachers required parents to come watch Al Gore's movie with the kids in class.
If they didn't, the kids' grades were threatened by the teachers and the school administration.
And so I'm disappointed that you allowed this to happen.
I'm disappointed his choice take a wonderful moment of history to taint it the way he did.
There's a lot of taint that has occurred in our culture, our pop culture, a lot of taint that has occurred in public education.
So here's what I'd like to do.
I would like to offer to go to Green Bay to this middle school and do a lecture or two for the entire student body on civics.
And then I'm going to have a little raffle.
And I'm going to choose 15 to 20 kids and I'm going to take them for a ride in EIB 1.
And while up there, I'm going to explain economics to them.
I wonder if the school would receive this offer in good faith.
You don't think so, Don?
They probably won't.
They probably won't accept it, but I would like to go up there and just give a little lesson on civics.
And I have to wonder, too, did the kids really cry or is this the teacher upset?
Well, but they were in class watching, or they were somewhere, maybe the assembly or whatever.
They love getting out of class.
They didn't have to do any work, but to say that I know the teacher was probably more upset than the kids.
Well, that we were asking about that, too.
I mean, when I first read this, well, this is an amazing coincidence because you have to figure that a lot of radio stations in Green Bay, Wisconsin were carrying the inaugural immaculation speech of Barack Obama.
somebody at school happens to love this show.
We don't know who.
We haven't inquired about that.
So I'll go up there.
I'll do a couple lectures on civics, give some students a ride on EIB1 and explain economics to them.
If the middle school in question is interested, but I have learned from this.
I have learned from the past 24 hours, Mr. Snerdley.
I understand what it's all about now.
I am the last man standing, ladies and gentlemen, with all of you too, but I'm talking about in terms of national figure.
There's nobody in the Republican Party.
There is no elected Republican Party leadership.
I'm it.
I am the one resisting the tug of popular sentiment.
The whole country, well, not the whole country, but a good portion of the whole country has checked their brains at the door.
And they have just caught up in this wave of popular sentiment.
Newt Gingrich is caught up in it.
Tom Colburn is caught up in it.
The entire Republican Party, except maybe John Cornyn and Jeff Sessions, are caught up in it.
Kay Bailey Hutchison running for Texas in 2010, she's not caught up in it.
But there are most of the conservative media totally caught up in the tug of popular sentiment.
You know why it is?
Because Obama has been portrayed as this universally, the most popular human being ever to be president.
And nobody's got the guts to stand up and oppose it because they think or even criticize it, or Obama, because his popularity is such that they will be hated.
And they don't want the kind of attention that, of course, I am going to get as resisting the tug of popular sentiment.
I have never been a conformist.
And one of the things that bothers me more than anything is groupthink.
When people set aside their brains, set aside thinking, and simply rush with emotion like lemmings wherever they are being led.
And that is what is happening here, because there is no substance whatsoever that could possibly explain this kind of mass public sentiment that asks no questions, that has no doubts.
So I think I figured it all out.
And I will explain it to you after we come back from the first of several obscene profit timeouts here at the EIB network.
It is the first official day of Obama lot today, ladies and gentlemen.
Yesterday doesn't count because he had his share that day with Bush.
Bush didn't get out of there until 1204 whenever the oath of office was botched and said.
By the way, there's some experts saying he needs to retake the oath because the Supreme Court Chief Justice blew it.
And just to get this right, better retake the oath.
I don't know if he's going to do that.
It would be easy enough to do in private, and no one would ever know.
Now, for those of you, some of you may be upset over what happened to the Green Bay Junior High, also known as the middle school, the kids shocked and outraged, some crying while listening to my analysis at the moment the Messiah was delivering his immaculation address.
I want to remind you, it wasn't long after 9-11.
See, our memories are detailed and lengthy here.
Wasn't long after 9-11, when President Bush's approval numbers had soared to the 70-80% range shortly after the attacks, that Stan Greenberg and James Carville put out a memo to Democrats saying if we don't destroy this, we will not win in 2002 and we will not beat him in 2004.
We must do whatever it takes to attack this man and his policies and get these approval numbers down.
Remember, it was Mrs. Clinton who went on a crazy rant and rampage saying that the new definition of patriotism was dissent and was criticism.
But today, neither of those things are recalled.
And of course, the new patriotism is blind loyalty.
Let us all join together.
This is what they're asking of us, ladies and gentlemen.
Let us all join together arm in arm, hand in hand, and unite behind a movement that seeks to counter all that Ronald Reagan stood for.
By the way, there's a poll out there.
Cybercast News Service did a poll.
Vast majority of Americans think that Obama ought to emulate Reagan.
Cybercast News Service, a conservative bunch, but many on our side think the era of Reagan is over.
We need to stand arm in arm, unite behind a movement that seeks to put a final nail in the heart of Jeffersonian democracy, a movement that puts government before the people.
Yes, let us take in this moment.
Let us become part of history, not stand against it.
Let us follow our new leader in remaking America, remaking the Constitution, remaking our society in ways only he can appreciate.
Let us today and from this day forth turn our backs on over 200 years of human progress, on national greatness, on economic wealth and opportunity unmatched in world history, and let us lower our sights.
Let us lower our standard of living and take from the mouths of our own children and grandchildren to feed to government that promises to take care of us.
This is the new way.
This is the only way.
This is what America must be.
Let us have faith.
Let us have blind faith in the wisdom of this Lincoln-esque figure from Illinois who says that we don't want to hear, who offers us so much hope, and who wants us to put aside our beliefs for his own beliefs.
The time for disagreement, the time for debate, the time for skepticism is over.
It must now give way to a new America and American, one that can only be delivered by an all-powerful yet all-compassionate government.
A government that does not act out of greed or profit, but equality and economic justice.
Let us close our ears to the naysayers like Limbaugh who would slow our progress.
Let us become a nation of one voice, a nation of one view, united in one goal, the goal of a world in which no one suffers, no one goes without, and no one need worry about the next day.
This is what the new America offers.
And in return, what is demanded of you besides your silence is your service.
No longer will you work in service of your own selfish interests, oh no, accumulating as much as you can for yourself and your family, all of which you no longer need.
No longer will you be free to take that which rightly belongs to the greater good.
There can be no rich in America when there are so many poor.
America must change with the times.
It must change with the rest of the world.
Must become once again a respectful equal among nations.
This much is promised in return for correcting your ways and curbing your excesses.
Obama will guarantee you a job.
Obama will guarantee your children an education.
Obama will guarantee you affordable and even free health care.
Obama will make sure that you want for nothing, but you must have faith.
You must unite behind Obama.
You must reject the cynicism and old ways of Obama adversaries like Limbaugh.
You must denounce them as the greedy, racist, reactionary throwbacks that they are.
If we are to make progress, if we are to remake this nation, we must become one in power and one in spirit.
Trust Obama with your future, for he knows the way.
Trust him with your lives, for he is compassionate.
Rush Limbaugh, the last man standing, resisting the tug of popular sentiment.
I love that phrase because it is so aptly descriptive.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this nation, if we are to make progress, if we are to remake this nation, we must become one in power and one in spirit.
Trust Obama with your future, for he knows the way.
Trust Obama with your lives, for he is compassionate.
Trust Obama with all the power he requires, for he is worthy.
He has been put in this place during this time to achieve great things, not for himself, mind you, oh no, but for you.
His success is your success.
Obama does this for you, and in return, all he asks is your unequivocal support.
It is time for America to reawaken.
It is time for America to embrace change.
It is time to place your hope in Obama.
As he said yesterday, it is time to be greater than oneself.
Which, in Obama's speak, to be greater than oneself means accepting Obama's agenda without question.
That is how you grow in America today.
You accept his agenda without question, without doubt, and you attempt to silence anyone who dissents.
Remember back in the 1960s, those of you who were old enough, all the 60s radicals running around with their bumper stickers and things which said question authority, and they went so far as to blow up bank buildings and conduct domestic terrorism in questioning authority.
Look how blindly obedient those same people have now become.
Look how blindly obedient their own children have become.
There is no questioning of anything.
There is no doubt.
There is no curiosity.
There is simply blind faith acceptance.
And it is troubling.
I mean, Obama's who he is, and the media is who they are.
What's always troubled me and you, I'm sure, about such wild swings in popular sentiment is the lemming-like behavior of so many Americans.
And you ask yourself, what can we do about this?
And then you hear of things that go on in high school, junior high, grade school, and you throw up your hands and say, no wonder.
Our children have been propagandized from the first day they stepped in kindergarten.
Take this, for example.
I want to give you a passage that Obama said yesterday in the Immaculation address.
To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history.
Now, who do you think he's talking about?
Let me go through this again.
Not only who is he talking about, but who could he be talking about?
To those who cling to power through corruption, to those who cling to power through deceit, to those who cling to power through the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history.
If you ask me, ladies and gentlemen, he has perfectly described his own Democrat Party.
Clinging to power through corruption.
Barney Frank, Freddie Mae, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Christopher Dodd.
The list of names is endless.
Bill Richardson, Timothy Geithner, where do we stop when we start listing these names?
Deceit.
How can we fool them?
The Clintons.
The silencing of dissent.
Who are the people talking about the fairness doctrine, which is designed to shut up people who dissent on talk radio?
This is one amazing sentence given the party that he represents.
There are all kinds of reviews of the Obama speech yesterday, and most of them are pretty bad.
Most of them are not, they're not good.
Juan Williams has a brilliant piece in the Wall Street Journal that I want to share with you as the program unfolds.
We also have a tremendous number of audio soundbites, some of them backed up from yesterday.
So let's get start with some of the audio soundbites.
This is today.
No, this is Wednesday, right?
So yesterday morning on MSNBC, Joe Scarborough was talking to Tom Brokaw, and they had this exchange about, well, they talked about Russell Brokaw running into former weatherman, Mark Rudd.
Now, the point of this is, as you listen to this, this is a glimpse into the mind of a liberal.
As far as Brokaw is concerned, a terrorist from the 60s can be rehabbed.
The other night at a party, a man came up to me that I knew instantly, and it was Mark Rudd, who was a poster child for the 60s.
And he formed the Weatherman after the protest at Columbia.
And he grabbed me and he said, talking about the book in which General Powell appears, boom, 1960s, he's in it, and he said, you treated me very well.
I like the documentary as well.
Keep talking about the importance of nonviolence.
He was one who said he wanted to launch a violent revolution against this country.
And he said, use me as an example.
I don't mind you doing that because I've learned over the years.
So Brokaw willing to bend over and grab the ankles for a former admitted terrorist who wants Brokaw to use him as a proponent of nonviolence today because this guy's grown up and he's learned his evil ways.
Now, listen to Brokaw, the same show, talk about bigots and rednecks.
I just want to say one thing.
Having been in the South in the 60s and Los Angeles and Watts and the northern urban areas, when we were evolving as a country, I'm thinking of all the bigots and the rednecks and all the people that I met along the way.
And I'm saying to them, take this.
There you have it.
Take this means take Obama.
Take this election, you redneck bigots.
I have told you time and time again, this is what those of you who live in certain geographical parts of this country are thought of by the people that run major network newscasts.
Brokaw's not the only one.
He just voiced it.
These people are so excited.
They don't care what Obama stands for.
It doesn't matter to them.
What matters is they think they got him there.
And they love telling you rednecks and bigots, take this.
Because they hate your guts with a purple passion.
And they have always hated your guts with a purple passion.
Because they think you are unreformable.
They think you cannot be rehabbed.
You are no different today than when you were acting out in the 1960s.
Except Mr. Brokaw conveniently forgets that the rednecks and bigots he's talking about were Democrats, Bull Connor.
Who was the guy?
J. William Fulbright.
All these segregationists were of the party that Tom Brokaw salivates over today.
Take this.
This is the sole importance of this election to people in the drive-by media.
It's to all of you pukes who haven't got the courage and the intelligence to understand just how you ruin this country.
Take this.
It's back at you, bub.
You talk about hatred and you talk about bigotry.
You have just heard it articulated in the mumbling voice of Tom Brokaw.
Quick telephone call before the break.
Cynthia in St. Louis.
Great to have you on the EIB network.
Hello.
God love you, Rush.
Once again, here I am a Democrat put in a position to weep for George Bush.
I know he's smart.
I know he knows he's better off being away from all of that today.
But when I sat here yesterday and watched the shabby, horrible, ungrateful, unthankful, ignorant treatment, so rude that it broke my heart for him in spite of the fact that I know he's better off leaving.
And then to watch Joe Biden, what is he?
A used car salesman that lucked his way into the Senate for God's sake?
People can't see this.
And Barack Obama and Bill and Hillary Clinton, probably two of the most treacherously dangerous people on the scene in America, get a hero's welcome.
It reduced me to an idiot who sat here and cried.
But you know what, Rush?
I woke up this morning and I quit smoking because I feel like the lines have been drawn.
And our country is so mentally ill that they either allow themselves to be bamboo into voting and supporting these people or to let them win by cheating or a combination of the both.
It terrifies me and I'm going to fortify myself.
I have to be stronger.
I have to prove that I can do things that are difficult.
I'm quitting smoking cold turkey.
It's the start of a new me.
You can't do that.
You cannot do that, Cynthia, until Obama announces the way and the program to quit.
You can't do things on your own.
Who do you think you are?
Rush.
What kind of sacrilege is this?
You're going to quit cold turkey.
You're going to do it on your own?
Don't you understand those days are over?
Rush, what happened to the Republican Party?
I'm a Democrat.
I came.
Why aren't you still a Democrat?
Somebody's my question.
I mean, the way you talked here about Democrats, one might ask about your mind.
I'll tell you what, Rush, my father was used by Democrats all of his life to help build the party where I live.
I don't know if you know anything about St. Clair County, Illinois, but I'm right across the river from St. Louis.
And this is, this county holds hand with Chicago's.
I don't know how dirty Barack Obama is, but I know that he's dirty.
This will not be tolerated.
Rush.
This kind of insolence will not be tolerated.
What do you mean, dirty?
He is filthy.
That's what you have to be in this state to be a successful politician as far as the Democrats are concerned.
And Rush, I can't believe the Republican Party put John McCain up there.
Where do we go now?
I'm getting a Gulf-Gulch mentality here.
Look, look, look, look.
You're voicing the sentiments of many people.
These things are cyclical.
They'll all work out in time.
But there's one thing we've got to stop is healthcare.
If this, I'm serious now, if they get that, then that's the tipping point.
The democracy as we know it is finished.
That's and they know it on the other side too.
But really, I'd keep smoking if I were you.
You don't have permission to quit yet, and you don't know how to quit yet.
And the idea that you think that you know how to quit smoking cold turkey before the plan has been announced.
Such arrogance.
I can't believe her.
I just half my brain tied behind my back, and even with half my brain not in use, I am able to resist the pull, the tug of popular sentiment.
Monday night on the Charlie Rose show on PBS.
Now, remember, Charlie Rose and Broca before the election had this conversation about who is Obama?
What is he standing for?
We don't even know.
We don't know who his influences are.
We know what books he's read.
We don't know anything about him.
And I said, Tom, dispatch a reporter.
You work at NBC.
Find out about this.
So Monday night, Charlie Rose back with New York Times magazine Matt Bai, BAI, and they're talking about Obama.
What does he mean by change?
We projected onto this man every manner of change we all think is necessary.
I happen to think generational change is very, very important.
There are people who think changes inequality are very important.
There are people who think policy change, foreign policy change, domestic policy change, whatever you want it to mean is what he's bringing.
Whatever you want.
He's a blank slate, and he's playing this up.
Don't think this embarrasses it.
If it were me, I would put a stop to this.
I would tell people, grow up and get real.
You're the ones that have to turn this around.
You're the ones that have to make this country work.
I would be scared to death that people are looking at me as a religious cult figure.
I wouldn't want it.
Who can live up to it?
That's the point, by the way, that Juan Williams makes in his columns.
And this is really, really a good, good column that Juan Williams has in the Wall Street Journal.
I'll get to it in the next hour.
One more from Tom Brokaw.
This is also on their special, the inauguration of Barack Obama on NBC.
He's talking with Matt Wauer.
You know, when I look at these older African Americans, especially who are being wheeled in here, I think of the old gospel: nobody knows the troubles I've seen, nobody knows my sorrow because all that they have been through in their lifetime.
The way they were humiliated.
It's emotional and heady stuff.
That was Matt Wauer trying to comfort Brokaw, who had been reduced to tears, thinking of the humiliation of all the older African Americans who were being wheeled in there.
This was after he had said on the Warning Joe program in response to Obama's victory, all you bigots and racists in the South, take that.
So he's quite moved by all of this.
Who's next?
Marie in Discovery Bay, California.
Great to have you on the Rush Limbaugh program.
Hi.
Oh, my God, Rush.
I'm not worthy.
I'm not worthy.
I bow before you.
Now, see, that embarrasses me.
If I were Obama, I would say, don't get up until I raise you.
Well, I wanted to just phone in because I adore you, but I have to hold you account for the little person out here.
I am a small business owner, one person home-based.
I have a house that's now valued at $200,000 worth, less than when we bought it four to five years ago.
And up and down my street are all home-based, self-employed contractors, you name it, GCs, window guys, electricians.
We all do our own business, and we're hurting.
And I didn't vote for Obama.
I don't believe in anything, any of the socialist policies he's got going on.
But God, I need the hope.
I need people to open their wallets.
I need them to start spending and believing that the economy is going to get better.
Or myself and hundreds of other people up and down my street are going to lose our houses, are going to lose our families and everything.
And that's the thing that kills me, the thing that I really need for people to believe in.
I almost realize I should care.
I should care more about the policy and all that stuff.
But I need people to start believing that America is going to turn that corner because we've got to get to the bottom of this and start moving up.
What do I do, Rush?
Well, you might want to consult history.
I don't know how old you are, but I've got a story in the stack that I'll get to quickly.
It was much worse than this 26 years ago, Ronald Reagan's second year.
The 1970s were an absolute disaster.
Double-digit unemployment, double-digit interest rates.
Nobody could borrow because they couldn't afford it.
And back then, you had to have 20% down to buy a house unless you went FHA.
And that was very tough to qualify for back then.
I mean, there's a reason that 20% down for house.
It shows a commitment to the purchase.
At any rate, the country came around with policies that got government out of the way, that lowered business and personal income taxes.
It encouraged, you know, the one word that Obama did not mention yesterday in his speech?
There were many words he didn't mention.
One word, key, he did not mention incentive.
Oh, that's true.
What do you expect Obama to do to make your customers start spending money?
You know, I don't know, but I know, you know, when you're watching the, and I have to admit, I agree with you that the fawning and the, you know, I was waiting for the great golden idol to be put up in the middle of the square.
