Time Text
Meeting and surpassing all audience expectations on a daily basis.
Rush Limbaugh and the most listened to radio talk show in the country.
Thank you for that.
We are here with broadcast excellence for the third hour of the fastest three hours in media.
And let me just tell you, ladies and gentlemen.
We have two weeks to go before the election.
And the campaign has reached the point the Obama campaign feared the most.
Foreign policy.
With two weeks to go, the last thing, the Obama campaign once on the table is foreign policy.
Thank you, Joe Biden.
Joe Biden has put foreign policy on the table and has said essentially that Obama's response to being tested, and he will be tested by mean people.
His response will be unsatisfactory, and he's begging Obama supporters to support them no matter what happens.
Don't take us down in the polls like we took Bush down in the polls.
He didn't say it in those words, but that's exactly what he meant.
This is not where the Obama campaign wanted to be two weeks out.
They did not want a campaign focusing on foreign policy, and Joe Biden has made it front and center.
They also did not want anything like what's happened to them regarding this Joe the Plumber fellow.
They wanted it out there.
They're going to help the little guy.
They're going to tax the rich.
They're going to make sure the rich pay.
We're going to tax the rich and we're going to spread the wealth.
And what's happened is that the country has seen the Obama campaign try to destroy an average American who simply asked the Messiah a question.
And the Messiah gave the wrong answer, and so the punishment meted out to Joe the Plumber, all of Obama's thugs, union thugs, and have is lined up trying to destroy Joe the Plumber's ability to do business.
This is not where the Obama campaign wants to be two weeks out.
Now it's time for some instructions.
I have three news stories here.
And they are from the Associated Press, Obama.
Nevada.
Nevada Democrats have a big jump on Republicans in early voting in Las Vegas and Reno.
Election officials say cumulative early vote totals in Las Vegas show ballots were cast by 31,875 Democrats and 13,371 Republicans through midday yesterday.
Republicans had the advantage in absentee balloting 6,616 to 6,161 through noon yesterday's Same pattern in Reno.
When we get to the next story, Florida, Florida voters hoping to skip long lines on election day, found themselves waiting for hours at some polling places yesterday as early voting opened statewide.
Georgia, about 12% of the state's roughly five and a half million registered voters, have already cast ballots for the November the election on November 4th.
Statewide last Friday, 55,709 people voted.
Georgia does not track these ballots by political party.
The counties with the most early votes are DeCab, Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb, and Chatham.
North Carolina, early voting open Thursday, drew some 214,000 voters to the polls in the first two days, leading to hours long lines in parts of the state and lengthy schedules for poll workers.
In the first few days, the balloting clearly favored Democrats, with those registered with the party making up 62% of those who had voted.
Only 22% of the voters had been registered Republicans.
North Carolina has 15 electoral votes, as does Georgia.
And in Colorado, nearly 8.5% of Colorado's 3.2 million registered voters have already cast ballots by mail or at early voting polling places.
Nearly 249,000 mail-in ballots that arrived at county clerks' offices by Monday.
The first day of early voting, about 21,000 people cast ballots at polling places, according to the Colorado Secretary of State's office.
Now, this early voting uh folks Is a big mistake.
Uh I believe election day is defined in the Constitution very specifically.
Early voting was brought about as a result of what happened in Florida 2000.
This is a this is a mostly a Democrat Party acorn uh motivated move to get early voting out there to overwhelm all these polling places.
Look at this.
People showing up in early voting to avoid long lines on election day, and they're encountering long lines while they go to vote early.
Now, here are the instructions.
Start voting.
If you are a Republican in Nevada, a Republican in Georgia, a Republican in North Carolina, a Republican in Colorado, a Republican in Florida, start voting.
It is not time to cede this advantage to Acorn and the Democrats who are trying to engage in a fraudulent election.
We've heard the stories from across the country.
All of the acorn investigations that are taking place, all the fraudulent registrations.
It is an untenable situation.
And this early voting, I'll tell you something else that's wrong with early voting, is the campaign's not over.
There are two weeks to go in this campaign, and this campaign has reached a point where the last place Obama wants to be.
So this is an this is uh it it's it's uh I think it's a it's an effort here to take advantage of uh of the electoral system and so forth, but it's open to both parties.
And what's happening here, note every one of these stories makes it plain that the vast majority of early voters are Democrats.
And the purpose of that is to depress you.
The purpose of that is to dispirit you.
The purpose is to make you not even think about voting.
Well, hell, if that many Democrats showed up early, it's over.
Just like all these polls are designed to tell you you don't have a chance.
McCain doesn't have a chance.
This is gonna be a landslide.
It's over.
It is not over.
This is a close election.
In the battleground poll that came out today, a seven-day poll of a thousand likely voters.
It's Obama 48, McCain 47, only in the CBS New York Times poll, which has Obama up 13, 669 likely voters, most of them live in the CBS newsroom.
Ask some of the most stupid, silly questions you can possibly imagine in a poll.
It's designed to get you to not vote.
The purpose is to depress you.
So all these early voters, and two to one, the early voters are Democrats over Republicans.
See, the message is that Democrats really care.
They're motivated, they're inspired, they can't wait.
They can't.
We hear this every election.
They can't wait to get to the polls.
Why we're having to restrain them all sorts of ways.
Don't let this happen.
Find out how to early vote and get out there and do it and stun and shock.
These people in the media who are trying to make it look like the Democrats have already won this election on the basis of early voting.
Look at these states they're tabulating.
Most of them are swing states.
Nevada, North Carolina, Colorado, Florida.
Look at the states they're reporting on with early voting.
They're all states that uh uh most of them that that uh McCain needs or Obama, they both need.
And right now, if you if you don't know how to interpret all this, why it's not a contest.
The Democrats can't wait.
These states are already in the bag for Obama.
Why should I, if I'm a Republican, go vote?
I urge you not to fall prey to this, not to succumb.
And it's just gonna continue these these efforts in the next two weeks to depress you.
Jack Mertha, Pennsylvania said last week that people in his voters, uh, voters in his district and in western Pennsylvania are racists.
Yesterday in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, Channel 4 Pittsburgh, WTA E' talking to Merth, and he he added this to the racist comment.
What I mean is there's still folks that have a problem voting for somebody because they're black.
This whole area uh years ago was was really redneck.
Particularly older people.
They hesitate.
They want change, but they don't want to see things go too far.
So here you have uh once again, a Democrat insulting his own voters, they're racists and they're rednecks.
You got Barney Frank promising those a lot of rich people out there.
We're gonna have all kinds of newsmen, a lot of rich people we can tax them a year from now and make up and get this some of his money back.
Destroying Joe the Plumber.
These are the this is the caring party.
This is the party of compassion.
Last Sunday, or I think it was Sunday.
I heard about this late last week.
An attorney for Cindy McCain sent a letter to Bill Keller of the New York Times.
Apparently, New York Times preparing some sort of hit piece on Cindy McCain, and her lawyer fired back a letter.
Why aren't you investigating Obama?
Why aren't you doing an investigation on these other people?
One of the questions that the lawyer asked of Bill Keller of the New York Times is why are you not investigating Obama's drug use?
Which he admitted.
Why aren't you investigating whether he sold drugs?
Now that question was not asked by Cindy McCain's lawyer.
But let's not forget something.
Let's go back early in the primary campaign.
Remember a guy named Bill Shaheen, who was Hillary's campaign manager in New Hampshire, the uh I think he's a husband of the former governor Gene Shaheen.
For all I know, she may still be governor.
I don't know.
But regardless, Bill Shaheen had to quote unquote be fired.
Because Bill Shaheen was out there saying, hey, look, he's admitted he's done drugs.
What if he was doing other things?
What if he was selling them?
You know the Republicans are going to say this.
You know the Republicans are going to say he was selling drugs.
Bam, he's fired.
But they got it out there.
They wanted it to be in the mix.
And then Bob Johnson, Black Entertainment Television, said Barack was doing lots of things in the neighborhood.
I'm not going to say what, but I know what he was doing.
So it was the Democrats that started all this racism and sexism in their primaries, and they put out this notion that Obama, he admitted to using drugs, dabbling with cocaine.
It was Democrats who put out the notion he might have been selling them as well, all the while saying Republicans were going to say it if Obama won the primer.
Republicans have not said it, but Cindy McClain McCain's lawyer to the New York letter from the lawyer of the New York Times asked them why they're not looking into Obama's drug use.
So, yesterday in Springfield, Missouri, Mike Huckabee was interviewed by a TV station, KY3 News.
Reporter said, I I know you mentioned Bill Ayers on stage today.
Is that an issue people ought to consider more important than even the economic issue?
Or I mean what's the message here?
Is it his associations or is it the economic, the tax structure of the country?
Can you tell me anybody that sorted out who it was that supplied Barack Obama the drugs that he claimed in his own book to have taken?
No.
I mean, that's relevant.
His drug use is on the table.
Well, if if Joe the plumber's back taxes are relevant, a guy who's just playing football in his neighborhood, then everything is relevant.
Hmm, that's Mike Huckabee.
And the reporter, you know, well, why what if these associations have to do with economic things?
This is where the reporter and most reporters are just ignorant and bullheaded.
It has everything.
If you if your best friends are socialists, if your best friends are anti-capitalists, it has everything in the world to do with whether or not your economic policies are going to be capitalist or socialist.
Ignorance.
Ignorance, the most expensive commodity we have in this country, and a lot of it exists in the drive-by media.
Then, yesterday on America's Newsroom Fox News channel, Rudy Giuliani.
If you raise legitimate issues about Barack Obama, his connection with heirs, his connection with Reverend Wright, his connection with Resco, who bought the house for him, but went off to jail.
You're accused of being some kind of a mean, vicious, narrow-minded person.
You can't even raise these issues.
And you know, God forbid somebody had due some reporting on Barack Obama's use of drugs.
I guess that was the point that Mrs. McCain's lawyer made.
So they're trying to get this out there in the mainstream media, the letter to Bill Keller, the New York Times, and you know what's going to come next is looking used drugs.
Uh, you know, who sold him the drugs?
Was he selling?
And the Democrats have put that out there.
Bill Shaheen put that out there back in February or January, whatever it was, heading into the uh New Hampshire primary.
Brief timeout.
We'll be back and continue after this.
My friends, the fur is flying between the McCain campaign and NBC News over NBC News refusal to play the most damaging parts of Joe Biden's comments in Seattle.
Now they have only played the segment where O'Biden Biden says that Obama has a spine of steel.
They have not aired any of the other aspects of this where Biden talks about how unhappy people will be with the response that Obama gives to this test, and it's gonna definitely happen, that the poll numbers are gonna drop, and so the McCain campaign has sent out a little statement here, a little response to the uh refusal of NBC to air in uh the relevant parts of Biden's remarks.
On NBC Nightly News last night, when Andrea Mitchell reported on Biden's remarks, she failed to play the relevant portion.
The portion that this campaign and a variety of news outlets had found controversial or revealing as the case may be.
Instead, Andrea Mitchell, NBC News, Washington, played a tape of Joe Biden talking about how Barack Obama has steel in his spine.
This morning on MSNBC, the network again aired the tape of Biden, and again they aired the segment in which Biden heaps praise on his running mate.
But Joe Scarborough noted that the network had played the wrong clip, and that what Biden said directly reflects the central criticism this campaign has made of Obama, that his inexperience, his poor judgment, his foreign policy proposals will, in Biden's own words, guarantee a crisis.
So how is it that NBC repeatedly failed to play those remarks?
This afternoon on MSNBC Live, Andrea Mitchell, NBC News, watching them spoke with uh McCain campaign spokesperson excuse me, I'm trying to speak too fast here.
Uh spokesperson Nancy Fotenauer, and Mitchell said, Let's talk about Joe Biden.
I think that his statement yesterday was one of the most revealing and interesting.
Perhaps in modern history, if you play the entire clip, I'm just gonna gently chide you and beg you to play the entire clip.
You hear that when you're gonna be able to do that the one where he talks about Obama's steel spine?
Perhaps?
Uh no, the one where he talks about the fact that the election of Obama would cause a generated attack by this nation's enemies, and that he himself could think of four or five, and he's guaranteeing that it would cause a generated attack.
We did play it earlier for Tom Dash.
Did you play also with this?
Tell me you played the whole thing.
I think we played the whole thing, as best I can tell.
We played the whole thing.
We've been playing it all day.
And by the way, what Joe Biden said was generated crisis, not generated attack, two different things.
Do you play the part where it says that it won't be apparent that he's done the right thing as well?
Because that's important also, I think.
Okay.
Thanks for your editing advice.
That is Nancy Fotenauer reading the riot act to Andrea Mitchell, NBC News.
Washington, thank you for your editing advice.
Did you play the part where he says it won't be apparent that he's done the right thing as well?
Because they're not, they're not they're trying to cover this up.
Folks, this would this would not have made the news.
Dan Blather said it this morning on MSNBC.
If Sarah Palin had said this, it'd be above the fall to major newspapers today.
This was not news until three o'clock yesterday afternoon.
And now everybody's all over it.
NBC trying to cover up the most damaging part.
I guarantee you, as I said, opening this brilliant half hour of broadcast excellence.
This is not where the Obama campaign wants this campaign to be with two weeks to go, focusing on foreign policy with his own vice president saying, We're gonna be in trouble.
Uh, we're gonna get hit.
There's gonna be some international crisis.
They're gonna test this little guy, and uh you're gonna like some of what we do.
Poll numbers are gonna be down, or you gotta stay with us, you gotta love us.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Ed in Milford, Connecticut.
Hello, sir.
Nice to have you on the EIB network.
Hey, Rush.
I just have two quick points.
One, I thank God for Sarah Palin, and I hope she's listening, because what I want to say is I know in my heart we got the right person when we can make these libs as angry as they are, that they will travel so far up to Alaska to sift to her trash that they'll try to take apart Joe the plumber and do whatever they can.
And by the way, they still haven't found anything substantial on him or anything at all on Sarah.
I know we got the right girl.
I know it.
I hope she's not wait a second.
Wait a second.
Stop and think what did you just say?
You just said they haven't found anything substantial on him.
Right.
I mean, little things like uh, no, what that this is how people in the Soviet Union used to talk in their bathrooms when they feared their houses were bugged.
Yeah.
I mean, look at the look at the look.
Look at the way we are talking about this.
Obama and the campaign trying to dig up dirt on payload on Joe the Plumber, they haven't found anything substantial.
You think that's an exonerating statement to me.
It is an incriminating indictment of who these people what do you mean they haven't found anything?
Whose business is it of the Obama campaign to find anything on Joe the Plumber, my friends?
Back in a second.
Folks, I have to say this is chilling to me.
And it hadn't hit me until our last caller, who said they're investigating Palin, Obama investigating Palin and Joe the Plumber, and they haven't come up with anything substantive on Joe the Plumber.
Now, who the hell are the Obama campaign to be investigating a private citizen?
He is not part of the McCain campaign.
He has had no relationship with John McCain over the years.
John McCain never heard of Joe the Plumber until Joe the Plumber asked the question of Barack Obama.
Now there are some very questionable people in Barack Obama's past that the drive bys will not investigate, will not look into, will not tell us anything about, but yet we haven't.
They haven't found anything substantive on Joe the Plumber.
So you have media propaganda and investigations to help one party.
Who the hell are they to be investigating a private citizen?
That is an indictment of the Obama campaign and what it is and what it portends.
They haven't found anything substantive on Joe the Plumber.
Dot, dot, dot, yet.
*tch*
But it won't stop them if they find nothing from maybe making something up, will it?
What is happening to us?
What is happening to our political system here?
Average citizens targeted by a presidential campaign.
And this average citizen asked a question, made a fool and a buffoon out of the candidate by making the candidate open up and be honest about what he really plans to do.
And now we've got now we've got Biden out there taking this campaign to the last place, the Obama campaign wants it to be.
Maybe, General Powell, you out there, Secretary Powell, you listening?
Maybe now that you've heard what Secretary or Senator Biden said that Obama is going to guarantee us a major crisis because he will be tested.
McCain would not be tested.
They know McCain.
Biden in effect said this.
Perhaps, General Powell, you can explain again why you support Obama and Biden.
And maybe those who say that Sarah Palin's not qualified can explain to us again just how Biden is qualified.
Not only is Biden a dunce, but he has been wrong on every foreign policy question of the last decade.
Maybe General Powell can help us out here in understanding why it is that Sarah Palin's so unqualified, and Joe Biden, a genuine dunce.
Who has taken this campaign to the last place it wants to be?
General Powell, are you prepared to go out and campaign?
I know you said you weren't going to campaign.
Are you gonna are you gonna prepare now to try to clean up this mess by telling us how qualified Obama is to deal with this test that's coming?
By the way, General Powell and a number of other things that he said about endorsing Obama.
He said the Republican Party's getting too narrow.
Did you catch that?
He said the Republican Party's getting too narrow.
Now I'm beginning to wonder about Secretary Powell's powers of perception.
That means the Republican Party's nothing but a right Bunch of right wing extremists that he doesn't like.
He doesn't like people that are against affirmative action, apparently.
He doesn't like people who are pro-life, apparently.
The Republican Party's getting too narrow.
How many monologues have I given saying with McCain, the Republican tent's too damn big?
The Republican Party Secretary Powell has been out trying to attract people like you.
Do I need to calm down here in my little General Powell has been trying to throw people like me out of it?
The Republican Party with Senator McCain have been trying to get independence.
We've been trying to get moderates with people like you.
We have been trying to get independents and moderates and Democrats, by the way, to come into our party as Democrats, not conservatives.
We've been trying to get independents to come into our party as independents, which means Democrats, not as Republicans.
That's what the McCain campaign's all about.
That's what the McCain nomination was all about.
General Powell, for you to say that you don't support McCain because the Republican Party's getting too narrow is a dead giveaway, sir.
That's the last thing anybody would say about John Amnesty McCain.
When you when you go down the list of McCain's Democrat positions, McCain Feingold, McCain Kennedy, to say that McCain's campaign is narrow because of Sarah Palin.
And of course, Tom Brokaw wasn't going to call him on any of these things.
He wasn't going to call him on the surge or anything of the sort.
Yeah, the party's moved too far right.
Look at here, Schwarzenegger to campaign for McCain in Ohio.
Schwarzenegger.
Hey, he's not exactly your pro-life anti-affirmative action.
Hick Hayseed go on a NASCAR races, General Powell.
Isn't isn't this, by the way, the uh Colin Powell who was first appointed to a big job by Mr. Conservative Ronald Reagan?
Wasn't it Ronald Reagan who pinned the four stars on Claire on General Powell?
It was, ladies and gentlemen.
And wasn't it George H. W. Bush who named him chairman of the Joint Chiefs, another Republican?
And wasn't it George W. Bush who named him Secretary of State?
another Republican.
You know, by tomorrow, this time, the political impact of the Powell endorsement will be mostly irrelevant, but his betrayal will be forever.
And you people in the drive-bys who've been out there claiming that my disagreeing when Powell says his endorsement of Obama's not about race, and I say, yes, it is.
It's totally about race.
It's a transformational figure.
What else is transformational about Obama if not his race?
I mean, everybody knows that Democrats in the media think history is being made here.
What's so hard to admit you're supporting a guy because of race?
And they're trying to tell me that I'm being racist, that I'm accusing Secretary Powell of being a racist.
I'm not accusing him of being a racist.
The Democrats have gotten away with defining our language or redefining our language for far too long.
But this is what this is what the campaign's about.
You bring up William Ayers, you are mean spirited.
You bring up right, you're a racist.
And now you say that General Powell's endorsement of Obama is because of race.
You can't say, who do you think you are?
Who does Limbaugh think he is?
Let me tell you a little story.
A friend of mine has a daughter in a high school.
Yesterday, daughter shows up.
It's a history class, a constitutional history class or some such thing.
Junior in high school.
Uh senior in high school, sorry.
Shows up, and the teacher starts lamb-basting me to these seniors in high school.
Did you all hear what Rush Limbaugh said about Colin Powell?
Can you believe Rush Limbaugh's racist?
Rush Limbaugh is as racist as anybody I can't believe it, Rush Limbaugh would say that to say that about Colin Powell, that's horribly racist.
And apparently there are a lot of black students.
And the teachers, what do you think of Limboss?
You think that was racist?
Of course, they're all their hands go up.
So what you have here is electioneering going on in a high school history class.
Citing what I said.
These kids are 18.
They can vote, they're going to be eight.
Some of them are eight.
They can vote.
So you've got this this teacher who's uh who's electioneering.
What I said, my simple quotes to Jonathan Martin.
Jonathan, uh he says it's not about race.
Okay, okay.
I'm gonna search all the inexperienced white liberals that he's endorsed.
I'll get back to you with what I find.
Not only is that not racist, it's brilliant.
If I say so myself, because it expresses it in a number of ways.
What I'm saying is, well, this is interesting.
He says it's not about race, but we're all the inexperienced white liberals.
Of course it's about race.
And then when I said, now nobody brings this one up, when he said he couldn't deal with two more Republican appointments at the Supreme Court, I said, Well, I didn't know he disliked John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy, Clarence Thomas, Antonin Scalia.
I guess he also doesn't like the fact that it was Republicans and made him who he is.
This is betrayal.
What General Powell did is betrayal.
And of course he's gonna say it's not about race.
But if Biden were the nominee, you think he'd be endorsing Obama?
Biden?
You think he would endorse Hillary?
It's possible, I'll tell you why.
Because in addition, in addition to the race factor here, what's most important to Colin Powell is Colin Powell.
And that means what's most important to Colin Powell is his standing in the New York Washington elite corridors, power.
And he has been on thin ice since the Iraq war and since he went up there to the United Nations and made the case for Saddam's weapons of mass destruction.
So this gets him back in good graces.
This gets him back in good stead.
In addition, do you think General Powell knew that Scooter Libby had not leaked anything that his own assistant Richard Armitage did?
And do you think that General Powell might have just sat on the sidelines during the Scooter Libby investigation as a way of getting back at the Bush administration because he thinks they embarrassed him by sending him up there to make that statement, which so threatened his relationship with the people he most covets, the New York Washington power elite?
So with the endorsement of Obama, takes care of that.
Look at what he had to look past, by the way, too.
Claudia Rosette, National Review Online, big, big important piece.
Uh he had to ignore the United Nations oil for food program in making this endorsement a number of other things.
He's just it's it's clear that General Powell is looking out for General Powell, which a lot of people do.
But to say that his choice, my saying actually, that he's choosing to endorse Obama is racist, I never said that.
I said he's making the choice based on race and a number of other things.
Plus now the Republican Party's moved too far to right.
How's that strike you?
You conservatives who think the Republican Party is trying to do everything it can to disavow conservatives running the party.
So by this time tomorrow, the political impact of the Powell endorsement will be mostly irrelevant.
But his betrayal will be forever.
And I would still love to hear what General Powell has to say about what Biden said.
Maybe he can explain again why he supports Obama and Biden after what Biden said.
And maybe those who say that Sarah Palin's not qualified, they can explain to us again how Biden is, despite being the biggest dunce.
In a presidential campaign I can remember to last 20 years.
Yeah, just one more stab at this, folks.
This this Colin Powell business, I'm not calling him a racist, I'm saying he's disingenuous.
Not about racism, it's about his lack of candor.
He can't admit what's obvious.
Race plays a huge role.
The whole campaign's about race.
It's historic.
Why is it historic?
There's only one thing that makes it historic, and that's the race of the Democrat nominee.
Certainly not his issues, not his policies.
He's not the Messiah.
He didn't come from a virgin birth.
There's nothing out there that makes this historic other than that.
Why can't why can't you Democrats acknowledge this?
So hard about it.
Just say it.
Be proud of it.
It would have been refreshing if Secretary Powell had stated the obvious, not danced around it.
See, if he'd admitted it as about race, it wouldn't have helped him with the media.
So you know all these things you gotta take them into account.
Here's uh Jackie in Mettery, Louisiana.
Great to have you on the program.
Hi.
Hi, Bryce.
Pleasure to talk to you.
Thank you.
I just wanted to ask you to tell people don't be discouraged because all these Democrats are voting early.
There are a lot of Democrats.
I have friends who are, relatives who are, and I'm a registered Democrat, and there is no way that I would ever vote for Barack Obama.
So you're saying that some of these uh early voting Democrats are voting against Obama, you think.
That's possible.
Very possible.
Well, of course it's possible.
I don't want people to be discouraged either.
But the drive-by's with these reports on the heavy Democrat turnout, uh Democrat turnout in these early voting states, it's clearly designed to dispirit Republicans.
I realize from uh from not voting.
Right.
But tell them don't be dispirited.
People who are not gonna vote for Obama.
Good.
I just told him and you did too, so that's great.
Okay.
All right, Jackie.
Thanks very much for calling and hopefully by the folks had Oops had a meeting yesterday with the uh with the Carbonite guys.
Carbonite guys, they're working on a Mac version.
They got a beta for right now it's just for PCs.
This is the offline backup for your for your PC.
And uh they've got a Mac version ready to go.
It's sometime in the early part of next year.
Uh, and and that's that's cool because then I will be able to use it.
So I don't have a PC, but I've got Macs, but I've got a laptop that has a hard drive would be perfect to back up, and they told me, get this.
They can document it.
They showed me their their uh their RAID six server array, uh, so that they don't have any problem losing data their own.
They're never gonna go down if they've got it insured in a lot of ways.
They said that that their backups or their offline backup system is 36 million times safer than an external hard drive.
I said, we gotta start using that number.
Nobody up 36 million times safer than an external hard drive.
Carbonite is an offline backup service for your PC, and trust me, your your hard drive's gonna blow up on you at some point, and you you want to be backed up.
Folks, you just start the backup the first time you do it, and it constantly is backing up.
Every time you're connected to the internet, once you set it up, it'll keep backing up.
It only backs up what's changed on your computer.
You don't have to do anything other than the first time.
