All right, greetings and welcome back, ladies and gentlemen.
Your host, Rush Limbaugh, here, making the most of every precious broadcast moment, saying more in five seconds than your average host says in a week, and in some cases in a career.
Telephone number if you want to be on the program today, 800-282-2882, the email address lrushbaugh at EIBnet.com.
I want to go back before Snerdley has urged me.
Snerdley has begged me to spend a little bit more time on this fraudulent Obama ad that misquotes me, takes me out of context, links me with Senator McCain.
Okay, I'm going to do that.
But before I get to that, I want to go back and play these two soundbites from Daniel Mudd.
I had to hurry through these at the conclusion of the previous hour.
This is all about Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, out of control.
They had a regulatory agency looking over their shoulder that had no authority.
They were in trouble starting all the way back in 1997.
The point of this is that everybody's a little concerned now.
It's varying in degrees.
Some people are getting close to really concerned about their investments and portfolios and so forth and what all this is going to mean in terms of ramifications down the line.
And it's disconcerting to hear, you know, it's one thing, I know Obama's running around blaming Bush and the Republicans and so forth, which is typical, but this is a sitting duck issue for McCain and Palin to blame the real culprits here, and that is Democrats and Congress.
Folks, I'm telling you when it comes to this stuff, whether it's Hurricane Katrina in the aftermath and so on, I don't care whatever problem you talk about, all roads lead to Congress.
In this case, a Democrat Congress back in the 90s, Congress writes the laws.
Congress sets up the way these government-run institutions, even with so-called private sector involvement, are going to operate.
And then when the excrement hits the fan, guess who gets to act like they were clueless and had no idea what was going on?
And they get to investigate.
The very people who messed it up, set it up in the first place.
The very people who create the problem, then investigate it as though they were innocent bystanders and spectators, and then they give themselves even more control of the mess they made, ostensibly out of benevolence to fix it.
I remember all this chatter during campaign finance reform that money in the electoral process was corrupting good people.
And I never thought that was the case.
I never thought that our electoral system with campaign contributions and donations was corrupting in and of itself.
But I'll tell you, that large stash of money sitting around waiting to be looted by people in Washington, various degrees of power, I am telling you there is a level of corruption in that town with people thinking that all money is theirs.
What you end up with is what they decide you should have.
They do not realize that that big pile of money is produced by one thing, the collective work and productivity of the American people.
If the American people didn't work and produce and weren't paying confiscatory taxes, that big pile of money wouldn't be there.
These people create nothing.
They produce nothing.
They gum up the private sector.
They clog it up with all kinds of things.
Then they act like they had nothing to do with it.
Then they get to come in and fix it and appoint themselves an oversight role.
It gives them even more power over the so-called fixed situation.
Now, to set up these two bites is Daniel Mudd, and this is his swearing-in ceremony for the Congressional Black Caucus in 2005.
And he's the interim CEO of Fannie Mae at the time, Daniel Mudd.
Now, this is after Franklin Reigns had been kicked out for that finally couldn't look the other way at all, the corruption.
still walked out of there with $100 million in bonus and salary over seven or eight years.
But the point is, all this problem started back in the 90s with the Clintons demanding the end to redlining.
Remember the whole, that's really where this starts, the end to redlining.
Redlining was a bogus charge that lending institutions would look at the race of the applicant and just refuse on the basis of race.
Not on the basis of anything else.
It was racist.
Redlining was racist.
And I don't doubt that it happened in some cases.
So the fix for it is always an overstep.
It's always an overreach.
So to extend the American dream to everybody, they said, get rid of redlining and loan money to people that can't pay it back.
That's the way we're going to fix this.
It's sort of like affirmative action.
We're going to not only address the grievances of the past, we're going to go so far beyond addressing the grievances, we're going to create new ones on the other side of the stick.
So here's the swearing-in ceremony for the Congressional Black Caucus, members of Congress, and the interim CEO of Fannie Mae shows up to speak to them.
I am humbled to come here today to reaffirm the friendship and the partnership between Fannie Mae and the Congressional Black Caucus.
Fannie Mae is determined to keep tearing down the barriers to deliver on the American dream.
And that means we need to work together with the CBC.
What does this mean?
So many of you have been good friends to Fannie Mae and our mission.
You've been friends through thick and thin.
What's that mean?
We have indeed come upon a difficult time.
What?
For Fannie Mae.
What?
There is much to be done inside my company, and I humbly ask you to help us and to help me.
What?
Forgive Frank Brain's corruption?
There are areas where we can do better.
We'd like to hear it from our friends, and I'd be so bold as to say our family first.
It is true that Fannie Mae has lent more money to more minorities and more underserved individuals than any single company in history.
We have lent more money to people that can't pay it back than any company in history.
And that money is now gone.
And by the way, we're not a company.
We're a government-run outfit.
This whole notion that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are private sector things with little government ownership, you can't have any government ownership in a private sector entity and still call it private sector.
So here this guy is.
He's showing up.
This is after Frank Reigns, all his corruption.
This is a 2005.
And this guy shows up and he falls on the sword for the Congressional Black Caucus.
You're our hope.
You're our dream.
You're the people who kept us together.
You're this and that.
You are our family.
I humbly ask you to help us and to help me.
Now, what the hell does this tell you that the root of the problem is?
And then Daniel Mudd, he wasn't through groveling.
He added this.
We will work hard inside our company to resolve the serious matters before us, to put our house in order, and to forge a new future.
That really works.
And all the while, you will see Fannie Mae reaching out and listening to the caucus.
Yeah.
Over a century of endeavor, you have earned the reputation as the conscience of Congress.
Don't make me know.
In many ways, I want to tell you today you're also the conscience of Fannie Mae.
Well, now we need to.
You're taking us on course to serve those who need serving the most.
There you have it.
All roads lead to Congress.
I mean, I have never heard somebody kiss ass in public like this in my life.
I mean, I may have.
I just don't remember it.
But I mean, this guy, is he still around or is he sick with anal poisoning?
Daniel Mudd, anybody seen Daniel Mudd lately?
This, ladies and gentlemen, identifies the El Problemo.
For those of you in Nevada, Florida, Colorado, and Nebraska listening to Obama ads, this is just, and here's Barney Frank, by the way.
Last night on Charlie Rose on PBS, Charlie Rose said, who might rescue this institution or that institution?
Are you going to have hard questions about who you're going to allow to buy American assets?
There were good sovereign wealth funds and bad sovereign wealth funds because they were good and bad countries.
They're buying because of the security of the United States.
Now, even with our volatility, this is still a place people want to put their money because this is a very stable democracy with a fundamental economy which has been damaged now, but which we expect you'd come back.
Well, this is exactly what McCain said the other day.
The fundamentals of the economy are strong, and Obama went out there and ripped him a new one.
You didn't understand the first part of what Barney said?
Okay, let me, let me, let me, if you didn't understand it the first time, you're not going to understand it the second time, Snurdly.
Let me.
Let me just tell you what Marnie Frank said the first time.
There are good sovereign wolf funds and bad sovereign wolf because you're a bad country countries.
You're busy because of the security of the United States.
They didn't even want to do it.
The money.
It's a very, very, very stable, very stable democracy.
The fundamental economy has been damaged.
We should just go back, Charlie.
And that helped go.
Okay, I'm happy to help.
Back here in just a second.
What was that, a flashlight?
Hey, folks, I think don't want, I don't want to be too presumptuous here, but I think in certain sectors of our society, certain people may be listening to us.
This afternoon in City Rapids, Iowa, Governor Sarah Palin and Senator McCain held a rally.
Here is a portion of Senator McCain's remarks.
Senator Obama talks a tough game on the financial markets, but he took more money from Fannie and Freddie than any senator except the Democratic chairman of the committee that regulates them.
He put the chief executive officer of Fannie Mae in charge of the selection process for who he was going to select for vice president of the United States.
Fannie's former general counsel is a senior advisor to his campaign.
Whose side do you think he's on?
While the leaders of Fannie and Freddie were lining the pockets of his campaign and they were sowing the seeds of a financial crisis we see today and they also enriched themselves with millions of dollars in payments.
That's not change.
No, it's criminal.
Say it.
Well, it might be going a little far for a presidential campaign, but hey, good shift, right?
Good move here.
By the way, we found out where Daniel Mudd is.
By the way, he's Roger Mudd's son of CBS fame.
This is Braden Kyle at the New York Post from just three days ago.
As more than a million U.S. homeowners face devastating mortgage foreclosures, ousted Fannie Mae CEO Daniel Mudd continues to live in an opulent Washington, D.C. mansion replete with expansive gardens, servants' quarters, and a home theater.
Mudd, whose former company, Fannie Mae, I call this a company, is being bailed out by billions in taxpayer dollars, calls home a 22-room colonial mansion built on the former property of President Grovert Cleveland.
The eight-bedroom, eight-bath pad includes large public rooms with fireplaces, a home theater, a gym, a wine cellar, a solarium, servants' quarters, a terrace off the master bedroom suite, and a gourmet kitchen.
The gated landscape property also features a pool, fountains, gardens, and a guesthouse.
The property is so lavish that some company employees dubbed it Mudd Manor.
And they're furious that the executive at the helm of the ship as it sank into profound crisis has surfaced relatively unscathed, at least for now.
Hey, he did lose his limo and his corner suite at the office, but Mudd Manor is not a bad place to contemplate your next move, said a bitter Fannie Mae employee, requested anonymity.
Most Fannie Mae employees are reeling from their employee stock option plan account balances, going to cents on the dollar.
Mudd, the son of former newsman Roger Mudd, descendant of Dr. Samuel Mudd, who treated Lincoln's assassin John Wilkes Booth, did not return calls for comment.
Now, by the way, something else you need to know here last year, under the terms of his employment contract, Daniel Mudd, who you just heard bowing down and kissing the rear of the Congressional Black Caucus in 2005, under the terms of his employment contract, Mudd could collect $9.3 million in severance pay, retirement benefits, and compensation as long as his dismissal was without cause.
His salary last year was $900,000, although in a radio interview last month, he did not deny reports that he raked in a total of $43 million in stock options, bonuses, and overall compensation through the years.
So you add this to Franklin Rain's $100 million and Jim Chonson, what he ever got out of it.
And Jamie Gorellic's part of a group that got $75 million out of Fannie Mae, and you see precisely what this was.
It was indeed a Democrat Party piggy bank, disguised as a lending agency for people who couldn't afford anything.
Now, the PS des résistance.
Democratic Senators Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, and Jack Reed have written to Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson to object to golden parachutes from Mudd and ousted Freddie Mac chairman Richard Siren, saying it would be a gross violation of public trust.
Yeah, they had to do that.
Obama already got his money out of there in the form of campaign contributions and so forth.
All right, let's see.
Now, where are we going to go?
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
I got everything so out of order in here.
I'm trying to find...
Yes!
Yes!
Let's go.
Audio Soundbites 3 and 4 and 5 and 6.
I'll try to squeeze all these in here before the break.
This is yesterday, Elko, Nevada.
This is Barry Obama to an audience member.
I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors.
I want you to talk to them whether they're independent or whether they are Republican.
I want you to argue with them and get in their face.
Now, most of the audience is saying, what?
Us?
What about you?
What about you, lazy bones?
Are you going to get in somebody's face?
Are you going to do it rather than siphon it off to ads and have a bunch of surrogates go out and attack people?
What about you?
You're going to get the people on his side of the aisle want him to start getting in people's faces.
But despite that, he's now encouraging thug behavior on the part of his supporters in Elko, Nevada.
What is it?
Jesus Christ was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor.
Now, did Jesus Christ say to the disciples, you get out there and you get in their face?
I just, I don't, I don't, I think Jesus Christ, all he did was get the money changers out of Fannie Mae, but he didn't tell people to go out there and get people's face.
It went his way.
Joe Biden, patriotism equals tax increases.
Good morning, America today.
Kate Snow said, we're talking to people through every state that we're visiting about the money they just lost in the stock market about their 401ks.
What do you say to those folks?
We want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people.
Anybody making over $250,000 is going to pay me.
You got it.
It's time to be patriotic, Kate.
Time to jump in.
Time to be part of the deal.
Time to help get America out of the rut.
And the way to do that is they're still going to pay less taxes than they paid under Reagan.
So it's these people, they can't help themselves.
They cannot help.
It's in the DNA.
Raise taxes no matter what.
The last thing this situation needs now is, in fact, you know what the situation needs?
Nancy Pelosi and Dingy Harry, before you get the hell out of town with your tails between your legs, cut corporate taxes.
If we need to do anything with taxes, it's cut corporate taxes right now.
They love these guys running around promising tax increases.
Here's Biden on the stump yesterday in Maumee, Ohio.
I used to be a councilman.
I left it for this job to the Senate.
You know why?
Your job was higher.
Joe Biden, the city council job is harder than the job in the Senate.
And here's Obama.
Sorry, Sarah Palin.
This is Sarah Palin last night part of the interview with Hannity and Colms.
And Hannity said, well, look, Senator Obama clearly upset at your speech at the RNC when you took on community organizer.
Oh, I certainly didn't mean to hurt his feelings.
Didn't mean to offend any community organizers either.
I do have respect for those who have chosen public service.
And what I was doing, though, certainly, it should be obvious, was directing a comment to him as he had taken a shot at small mayors across the nation, mayors of small towns, quote unquote, they're on the front lines.
They're held accountable every single day that they are in office with real responsibilities that do demand that accountability and invite accountability.
That's Sarah Palin last night on Hannity and Colms with the host, Sean Hannity.
By the way, you didn't see that.
I should have pointed this out to you last night on a plane snurdily, but Karl Rove literally skinned Alan Colbs live.
I mean, literally.
I don't know if Colms will show up tonight.
Hi, welcome back.
You know, it was mere moments ago that I raised the question.
Where is Michelle Obama?
I got Sarah Palin out there.
We got Cindy McCain out there.
We got John McCain out there.
We've got Todd Palin out there.
And of course, we've got the Messiah out there, but we haven't seen the Virgin Mary.
You know, where's Michelle Obama?
Well, she surfaced.
She surfaced, ladies and gentlemen.
This is from the website of our Charlotte affiliate, WPT.
It's an AP story figures.
Michelle Obama says voters need to decide this election by examining the issues, not because they like a candidate or think, quote, she's cute.
Obama spoke in Charlotte.
What was the date of this?
This is today.
This is Thursday.
Okay, so she spoke this morning at a women's roundtable on economic issues.
The crowd roared at her remark, disparaging voters who might cast a ballot based on a woman's looks, a clear jab at Sarah Palin.
What have I told you?
Undeniable truth of life number 24, feminism established so as to allow unattractive women, ugly women, whatever, easier access to mainstream in society.
So here comes Michelle My Bell getting his crowd of women all worked up to rip Sarah Palin because she's prettier than they are.
Don't vote for her.
She's prettier than you are.
Obama tried to clarify her remark with a smile, saying she was also talking about herself.
Except, Michelle, you're not on a ballot.
Although these women in your audience may not know that, Obama said that her husband, Barack Obama, is the only candidate to deal with women's issues.
She particularly focused on equal pay, health care, affordable college, and recruiting new teachers.
So once again, who is it that's judging people on the way they look?
Since the Democrats to me, Michelle Obama leading the way.
Look, Kay to Lawndale, North Carolina, thriving metropolis.
Jason, welcome to the EIB network, sir.
You're up first today.
How you doing, Rush?
Thanks for taking my call.
Yes, sir.
I was just calling in.
I had a lot of questions about John McCain's past and tried to talk to it with other people and just been put on hold for an hour or two and never got around to.
When you was watching the convention, when he referred to they broke me, I've done a little research, and in John McCain's own words in his memoir, Faith of My Fathers, he admits to giving up his ship name, their location, sites of future attacks.
To me, it's very clear that he broke the code of honor that you're only supposed to give your name, rank, and serial number.
And I just don't see how he could take the acceptance speech for the president when he's already proven that he can't keep his mouth shut.
You know, a lot of other people died over there that kept their mouths shut, and he didn't.
Jason, I need to ask you a couple of questions here.
You really believe this?
Yes, I do.
It's in his own words.
If you go to his memoir that he wrote.
I know all about the memoirs.
I heard him say at the convention that they broke him.
And he gave up his ship's name to location to fight a future of attack.
Have you ever seen that?
Have you ever talked to anybody in the Navy SEALs or the U.S. Military Special Operations Forces, the Delta for you?
Have you ever talked to any of those people?
No, sir.
Well, you should.
You're in North Carolina, Fort Bragg, probably not too far from you.
What they tell everybody is, you will break.
Everybody can be made to break.
They either do it with brutality or they do it with drugs.
Let me tell you, you know what the real lesson here is, Jason?
You know what the real lesson here is?
What is that?
Torture works.
Yeah.
Torture works, Jason.
McCain was tortured beyond your ability and my ability to comprehend it.
I agree with you.
And I myself probably would have done the same exact thing as he did.
But then I would not turn around and run for the United States.
There was a lot of people over there that kept their mouths shut and did not ever give up anything.
Well, a lot of them.
I mean, you used to be able to shoot a man in the back, and they would kill you for it.
A lot of them.
Now the police in the back with no guns.
So what are you going to do?
What are you going to do?
Are you going to vote Obama?
Of course.
That's the only choice.
I mean, and you got to go to the bottom of the street.
Okay, so you want to vote it out of his own mouth.
So you want to vote for a guy.
You want to vote for a guy who will give up the United States from the Oval Office.
You want to vote for a guy who will turn the freedom and capitalism of this country into Marxist socialism as fast as he can and do it from the Oval Office.
You want to vote for a guy who couldn't put up for five minutes what John McCain put up with.
If that, you go right ahead.
Go right ahead.
We're getting an idea here who the Obama constituency is.
This is B in Kingston, New York.
Bea, I'm glad you waited.
I appreciate your patience.
Hello.
Oh, hello, Rush, mega-educated conservative homeschooling mom to my Rush babies.
Dittos.
Thank you.
Oh, it is just wonderful to talk to you after 10 years.
I was listening to you this morning talking about the whole Spanish ad and getting ready to go out with my kids on a little errand, and I've been holding, but it's been wonderful.
And it hit me like a bolt of lightning.
You or the McCains or the Republicans need to take out an ad in Spanish to combat this Obama ad?
I disagree.
Why?
I am not going to insult the Hispanic people in these four states by putting out an ad in Spanish.
We could do an ad in English or I could do it on this radio show, but do us, I'm not going to hide what I do.
I'm not going to hide what I say in some language that's not English, that only a few select people can hear.
This whole thing, this whole thing is just viciously vile.
It is openly stoking racism.
It is disgraceful what Obama has done here.
Absolutely.
It's contemptible, and I agree with you 100%.
Then do it in both languages.
I think if we need to fight fire with fire, which I believe we do, then we need to play by their rulebook, the Obama-Chicago Politico rulebook.
We need to play the same way.
We need to get our truth out there, the truth, the only truth, in any way possible.
Obviously, they're getting the lies out there in any way possible.
We need to get the truth out there in any way possible.
So I think somebody out there needs to hear it, and we need to combat it with the truth in whatever languages it takes, in my humble estimation.
Well, I might call President Bush to do it.
speak spanish uh look at you know i i understand what you're saying and i i i could be wrong what do you what what What percentage of the population in Florida?
Now, I'm just, I don't know this, so I'm seeking information.
We could probably find out some guesstimates here.
What percentage of the Hispanic population in these four states, Florida, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, do not speak English?
You think it's pretty significant number?
Okay, don't speak.
I know they speak Spanish, but they don't speak.
I know they don't speak English at Miami International Airport.
You know, I know you need an interpreter when you go in there just to board the airplane, but throughout the whole city, well, you might.
I've never encountered this.
You know, I go to Miami a lot.
I've never encountered this.
Well, don't give me this other Miami business.
I go to Miami.
This might be an opportune time.
Thanks out there, B.
We, of course, will consider this.
This might be an opportune time here to share with you how the drive-by media dealt with this.
There are two people in the drive-by media that dealt with this straight up.
What happened?
We finished the program yet.
Maybe it was right before the program ended.
I got a note, an email note from Jonathan Martin at the Politico.
And he said, I see Obama has dinged you.
Do you want to reply?
And so we, you know, I sent him the transcript of the update from 2006, which is a parody of Mexican immigration law.
And it was from that parody that they took the phrase, you shut your mouth or you'll get out, and attributed it to me in the Obama ad in these four states.
And then there was another statement for me that they pulled called Stupid and Unskilled Mexicans.
And that was from 1993 and a NAFTA debate.
Jake Tapper and Jonathan Martin at the Politico got this right on the money.
Let me read to you what Jake Tapper said at the ABC blog entitled Political Punch.
Senator Barack Obama has launched a new Spanish-language TV ad that seeks to paint Senator McCain as anti-immigrant, even tying McCain to his longtime conservative talk radio nemesis, Rush Limbaugh.
As first reported to the Washington Post, Obama's ad features a narrator saying, they want us to forget the insults we've put up with, the intolerance.
They made us feel marginalized in this country we love so much.
The screen then shows these two quotes from Limbaugh, stupid and unskilled Mexicans.
You shut your mouth or get out.
The narrator then says, John McCain and his Republican friends have two faces.
One that says lies just to get our vote, and another even worse, that continues the policies of George Bush that put special interests ahead of working families.
John McCain, more of the same old Republican tricks.
Now, forget me for a second.
This is just, it's absurd because Bush and McCain were both for amnesty.
Bush and McCain were these illegals' best friends along with Ted Kennedy.
So this ad is a lie from the opening word to the closing.
I'm Barack Obama.
Prove this ad.
It's a lie from the get-go.
And the lie is compounded countless times.
Now, continuing here with Jonathan Martin, I'm sorry, this is Jake Tapper.
There are some real factual problems with this ad, which is entitled Two Faces.
First of all, tying Senator McCain to Limbaugh is unfair.
Limbaugh opposed McCain on that issue vociferously.
And in a larger sense, it's unfair to link McCain to Limbaugh on a host of issues since Limbaugh, as even an occasional listener of his knows, doesn't particularly care for McCain.
Second, the quotes of Limbaughs are out of context.
Railing against NAFTA in 1993, Limbaugh said, quote, if you're unskilled, this was in response to a caller.
Caller called here and was giving me grief for not wanting to do what it took to protect American jobs.
And so I said to him, well, look, if you're unskilled and uneducated, your job's going south anyway.
Skilled workers, educated people are going to do fine because those are the kinds of jobs NAFTA is going to thus create.
But if we're going to start rewarding no skills, stupid people, I'm serious.
Let the unskilled jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do, let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work.
Now, Jake Tapper says, not one of his most eloquent moments, to be sure, but his larger point was that NAFTA would mean that unskilled, stupid Mexicans would be doing the jobs of unskilled, stupid Americans, which is dead right.
And there was not a racial component in this NAFTA debate, if you'll recall.
I'm not going to defend how Limbaugh said it, but to act as if this was just a moment of Limbaugh slurring Mexicans is not accurate.
Though again, certainly, if people were offended, I could understand why.
He had to throw the bones here to his drive-by buddies.
The second quote is totally unfair.
2006, Limbaugh was mocking Mexican law, and he wrote, in fact, here, let's listen to it.
It runs a minute.
I've got to take a break.
If I don't take a break here, we're going to run over.
So we'll take a break here.
We'll come back and play you the audio of the audio soundbite of the morning update 2006 in April that the second quote is taken from totally out of context.
Okay, time now to illustrate the second lie, purposefully done with full knowledge by Barack Obama.
In this ad, he's running to Hispanics, a Spanish-language ad in Florida, New Mexico, Colorado, and Nevada.
He said that I said, you shut your mouth or you'll get out.
And they present this as though I said this in the last few years, recent times, about illegal immigration.
This that you will hear now is from April 6th of 2006, a morning update commentary.
This is where that out-of-context quote was lifted.
Everybody's making immigration proposals these days.
Let me add mine to the mix.
Call it the Limbaugh Laws first.
You immigrate to our country, you have to speak the native language.
You have to be a professional or an investor.
No unskilled workers allowed.
Also, there'll be no special bilingual programs in the schools with the Limbaugh laws.
No special ballots for elections.
No government business will be conducted in your language.
Foreigners will not have the right to vote or hold political office.
If you're in our country, you cannot be a burden to taxpayers.
You are not entitled to welfare or food stamps or other government goodies.
You can come if you invest here, an amount equal to 40,000 times a daily minimum wage.
If not, stay home.
But if you want to buy land, it'll be restricted.
No waterfront, for instance.
And as a foreigner, you have to relinquish individual rights to the property.
And another thing: you don't have the right to protest.
You're allowed no demonstrations, no foreign flag waving, no political organizing, no badmouthing our president or his policies.
You're a foreigner.
Shut your mouth or get out.
And if you come here illegally, you're going to jail.
You think the limbaugh laws are harsh?
Well, every one of the laws I just mentioned are actual laws of Mexico today.
That's how the Mexican government handles immigrants to their country.
Yet Mexicans come here illegally and protest in our streets.
How do you say double standard in Spanish?
How about nomas?
And so there you have it, ladies, and clearly lifted out of context, purposefully and with knowledge aforehand.
Done on purpose.
This is why I said earlier, Obama is a disgrace.
He is acting no different than a 1950s segregationist trying to stoke racial hatred.
A man running for the presidency of the United States, trying to get there on the basis of stoking racial discord in this country.
It is, I just think it is beneath the dignity of anybody seeking the office.
He does not deserve to be anywhere near the White House in this country.
This man is nothing more than a street agitator and organizer.
He has no intention of unifying anybody.
He has no intention of getting along with people who disagree with him.
He is not about anything that the early months of his campaign portrayed him to be.
He is about what he is showing himself to be now.
He is nothing more than a Saul Alinsky-inspired guy who doesn't like this country the way it is.
He has deep resentments.
He cannot help himself.
Wherever he goes, he has to criticize this country.
He criticizes this country more than he criticizes this nation's enemies.
He will do whatever he has to do.
He will drop 30 thug lawyers into Alaska trying to dig up dirt on Sarah Palin.
He'll have thug hackers get into her private email account and post whatever they find on the internet to the glee and satisfaction of the AP.
The Secret Service called the AP and said, can you help us here?
Figure out who did this.
The AP declined.
The Associated Press declined.
And so this is the real Barack Obama, plus using insulting language and lying to Hispanics in order to get their votes.
A brief break coming up here at the top of the hour.
