Rush Limbaugh, Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Operation Chaos.
From behind a golden EIB microphone, broadcast excellence for two more hours.
Fastest three hours in media.
It's great to have you with us.
Our telephone number is 800-282-2882.
The email address lrushbow at eibnet.com.
Grab soundbite number two before we do anything else.
Folks, if you are just joining us, our neighbors here in Florida are terribly upset what's happening.
Their delegation not going to be seated at the convention.
The Michigan delegation facing much the same challenge, but they're going about this as adults.
But our neighbors, people that live amongst us here in Florida, mobbed Washington yesterday, gathering outside the Democrat National Committee headquarters.
We will shut down the convention!
Nobody will go here!
I don't gotta go here!
If the Florida delegation is not seated, we will march on Denver.
We'll take off the buses, make it over Denver!
And we will shut that convention down before it gets started!
Shut down that convention before it starts.
All right, I need to address those of you who are soldiers, volunteers, and operatives in Operation Chaos.
In our first hour today, I took two very troubling telephone calls, and these calls sentiments have been reflected in my email.
And basically, people are getting frightened.
And they are becoming frightened at success.
Operation Chaos is proceeding exactly as planned and hoped for.
Our objectives have been far exceeded.
And now people are getting worried, thinking that I have gone too far.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have no room in our operation for people who are afraid of success.
I now know how George Washington felt during the Revolutionary War.
And believe me, the Revolutionary War was nothing compared to Operation Chaos.
Everything laid out here has happened according to plan.
We haven't met one objective or obstacle that we have not been able to overcome.
This has been masterful.
Those of you who have been participating and are lining up to participate, I must keep your morale up.
You must not be afraid of success.
You must trust your commander.
This is not frivolous.
I sense the need for an urgent call to arms.
We are simply preparing, double-checking battle plans for a surprise final assault next week.
I beg you, I implore you operatives, hang in there, stay with me, and fear not.
Our success, remember.
we are doing this for our children.
Well, your children, I don't have any.
We're doing this for my nieces and nephews, your children, and our grandchildren.
We are doing this for America.
Success, wild success beyond anybody's expectations, a moment we should be experiencing with great joy and great happiness.
Please don't go wobbly.
Do not be afraid.
Operation Chaos will proceed.
We will not be detoured, deterred, or altered.
Stick with us.
If this isn't enough, ladies and gentlemen, troop morale is the objective here.
We're doing this: Operation Chaos for America.
Please join me one more time in listening to the U.S. Army Chorus and the Battle Hymn of the Republic.
He had lost the faithful mighty road.
His perilous Lord is good is parting home.
Oh, oh, oh.
Him, glory, glory, holy God.
His truth is party.
I've seen in the watchpires of our own researching camps.
They have been in altar in the evening hues and acts.
By the way, his righteousness in the living and wearing backs.
His praise party glory.
Hallelujah.
Glory, glory, hallelujah.
Go, God, hallelujah.
His love is party horror.
The beauty is Christ of God.
That transfigures you and me as he died to make men holy.
Let us fight for hate and free, while God is hearty home.
Army Chorus, ladies and gentlemen, from the White House welcoming ceremony for Benedict the 16th, Operation Chaos.
We're doing it for America.
Great to have you along.
Rush Limbaugh, Talent on loan from God.
To the phones.
People have been patiently waiting.
Wheretown, New Jersey.
Travis, nice to have you here, sir.
Hello.
Rush, it is a pleasure.
It is an honor.
I can't even begin to tell you.
I'm from Missouri, just like you.
Greetings and mega dittos from the Jersey Shore.
Thank you.
Thank you.
What part of Missouri are you from?
St. Louis, North St. Louis.
St. Louis.
I grew up in Cape Girardeau, a couple hours south of St. Louis.
My mother's a subscriber.
She's listening downstairs on the other end, so I got to get right to the point.
Rush, I want to tell you something.
Here are my heroes.
Thomas Sowell, Larry Elder, Walter Williams, Janice Rogers, Rush Limbaugh.
You are my heroes.
And I want to tell you something else.
There's a lot of black conservative Americans across this country who are fed up, who are sick and tired of listening to these idiots that are preaching hate and just creating just a downward spiral for the whole country.
I'm sick and tired of these people, and you know who you know who I'm talking about.
I'm sick and tired of people that are hijacking our faith, our Christian faith.
I'm tired of people that are bad-mouthing the country.
I love this country.
I love this country.
I thank God I was born here and not someplace else.
And I'm really sick and tired of it.
I'm disgusted.
I'm fed up.
And I'm telling you something else.
These young people better wake up.
They better wake up.
There's too many young people that have the herd mentality.
They'll listen to Al Sharpton.
They'll listen to Jesse Jackson.
They'll listen to Jeremiah Wrong.
And they'll follow these people.
They're so mesmerized and seduced by these people.
Why can't they listen to Thomas Sowell?
Why can't they listen to someone intelligent like Larry Elder?
Why can't they listen to Walter Williams?
Why can't they listen to Rush Limbaugh?
You hear what I'm saying, Rush?
Totally.
I hear what you say.
I want to tell you something.
Someone once said that fear makes cowards of us all.
I'm tired of people.
I don't care if you're a Republican or a Democrat.
Wake up for crying out loud.
This is our country.
We need to have courage.
Fear makes cowards of us all, someone said.
Maybe Shakespeare, I don't know.
But guess what?
On Route 9 in Weartown, there's a sign on a church that says, courage is fear that has said its prayers.
And let me tell you something, Rush.
Today is the National Day of Prayer.
And Christians and Jewish people and people of goodwill across this country need to get on their knees and thank Almighty God for the blessings that he has poured out on this country since day one, since the beginning, since George Washington led the charge.
Okay?
I just want to say that.
I want to just end with one thing, Rush, and I thank you for your time.
We need to trust in the Lord.
We need to learn to think for ourselves as individuals.
And we need to learn how to mind our own business and take care of business.
I want to thank you for your time, Rush.
God bless you.
And keep leading the charge.
Keep fighting, Lord.
Keep fighting, Rush, and just let the troops know that they should fear not.
Like Sean Hennedy says, fear not.
Let not your heart be troubled.
Thank you very much, Rush.
Travis, thank you.
That needs no amplification.
Well said.
Love Travis's passion there.
Great to have you in this audience, Travis.
It really is.
Paul in Middletown, Connecticut.
Welcome to the EIB Network.
Hello, sir.
Hello.
Happy May Day, Rush.
Yeah, happy May Day.
Yeah, this is the first day of May.
I know it's the first day of May.
We got Cinco de Mayo coming up.
What are we thankful for on May Day?
Well, we've got a lot to be thankful for.
If you're not.
Well, I mean, May Day was, you know, May Day, it wasn't that long ago that Americans celebrated communism on May Day.
I know.
But they seem to call it some kind of a holiday here now.
Well, look, the reason I called, after watching Bill O'Reilly and Hillary tap dance around last night in that first part of his interview with her, it occurred to me that it was pretty ingenious of you to get Bill O'Reilly enlisted to help you with the operation, your operation going on here.
Because the way he talks about oil companies these days, I get a little antsy about Bill O'Reilly.
But anyway, I think that what you're doing with the operation is really great.
And I may not be too old to be a volunteer and getting the thing running, but I'm going to stand by here on the sidelines, cheering you on.
Well, I appreciate that, Paul.
It's not that you're too old either.
It's just the Connecticut primary has come and gone.
Yeah, it's coming up.
And there's no Operation Chaos battle plan for Connecticut at this point in time.
Mrs. Clinton's appearance, did you see it last night, Mr. Sturds?
Did you see it?
I did not.
I was not home last night.
I had a couple of cocktail parties with friends of mine down here.
It's getting close to the time where they all go north for the summertime.
And I, of course, stay here throughout the year to hold down a fort.
And so there were some parties last night as people were getting ready to leave, and I went out to dinner.
But I did check transcripts, and of course, the lovely and gracious cookie sat through it all.
And let me play for you what I thought was the most interesting aspect of the interview last night.
Those of you who watched it may disagree, but it is this exchange that they had about oil prices.
O'Reilly said oil prices, you want us to spend the federal gas tax, so does McCain.
Obama doesn't.
But when I hear that, I say it's the same old politician stuff because the Democrat Party was opposed, is opposed to end war drilling.
You voted against nuclear energy seven times.
And I'm saying to myself, both parties, both parties have sold the folks out on energy.
And when the folks are getting hammered and they should be angry at both parties, where am I going wrong?
Well, here's what I think.
I think there is plenty of blame to go around.
We're not acting like Americans, Bill.
We're not in charge.
And I want to put us back in charge.
I also want to take on OPEC.
You know, OPEC is a cartel.
It's a monopoly.
You want to take them on?
They don't care what you say.
They're Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.
Nine of the 13 biggest oil-producing countries that are in OPEC are also members of the WTO.
I would file complaints.
I would also change the law so that citizens and businesses could file antitrust actions.
We're going to begin to hold them accountable.
What the hell is she talking about?
Why are any of you afraid of this ditz?
Did you just hear what she said her plan of action is to bring down oil prices?
Lawsuits against Ben Alwid Taliban Ashid Sahib Skyhook.
Do you know what Ben Talawad Talibi Asid Sahib Skyhook is going to do when he sees Mrs. Clinton's lawsuit at the World Trade Organization?
He's going to make a paper airplane out of it and send it back over here, one of his Airbus A380s.
This is how they want to fight terrorism with lawsuits.
OPEC is not a monopoly.
There are many oil-producing countries that are not part of OPEC.
This is incompetence on parade.
We're back.
I have a bear with me here for just a second, ladies and gentlemen.
I want to address the Obama campaign for just a second here.
We spent a good portion of the first half hour of the program today addressing Democrat superdelegates worried about a racial backlash against the Democrat Party if they deny Obama the Democrat Party nomination.
But I've sat and I've watched this.
You know, we're part of it here.
Operation Chaos has literally caused chaos throughout the Democrat Party, particularly this nomination process.
And I have to say that the Obama campaign, for all the high-powered expertise that is in this campaign, you people are disappointing me.
You have such a golden opportunity out there to negate the Jeremiah Wright stuff, and all I hear is silence.
Now, this is not something that the candidate Senator Obama has to say.
But what is the Jeremiah Wright and the Bill Ayers and the Tony Resco stuff?
What's it all about?
That's all about the fact that, wow, this guy's got horrible judgment.
Look at these radicals, these lunatics, these fruitcakes that he hangs around, that Obama hangs around, and who knows how they may have influenced him.
How can we handle this?
Members of the Obama campaign, you have to know that in a contest of who knows the most unsavory, unscrupulous, dishonest, untrustworthy sleaze bags, you don't hold a candle to the Clintons.
Have you heard of the Lippo group?
Have you heard of the Chinese Liberation Army?
Have you heard of the CHICOMs?
Have you heard of all these people that paid illegal campaign contributions?
Look at her brothers for Christ.
Just put their pictures up there.
The FALN pardons the terrorists in Puerto Rico.
I know you're feeling bad in there in the Obama campaign about being associated with the nut job, Jeremiah Wright.
And in and of himself, he's a pretty despicable character and presenting you great problems.
But they got 10 of them.
The only difference on the Clinton side, the only difference is they're not in church preaching.
But for crying out loud, where are you?
Now, what are the you don't have to say Obama because the Clintons are not tarring Jeremiah Wright.
I mean, Hillary is very mildly saying that she doesn't approve and so forth.
And so Obama doesn't want to go out there and personally, but you've got all kinds of people in your campaign that can raise this.
You've got all kinds of spokesmen that are on television shows.
Obama strategist, Obama advisor.
I mean, come on, this is serious stuff.
You haven't won a primary since February 22nd.
You've lost seven of the top 10 states.
You and the Obama campaign have stood idly by and let me, the commander-in-chief of Operation Chaos, help decimate your campaign.
You've got to fire back, and you're sitting on a gold mine if you're worried that you are.
And look at the poll numbers out today.
Jeremiah Wright has hurt you.
You are now trailing by two in North Carolina in one poll.
The Obama campaign has lost its national edge over McCain.
And this is attributable to Jeremiah Wright.
And the idea here that Mrs. Clinton's getting away with coming off as clean and pure as the wind-driven snow is ridiculous.
It is absurd.
This is one of the things, by the way, that is making me question the fitness and the experience of Obama.
This is for all the marbles.
And you're not going to get rid of this by going on a Today Show with your wife.
This is not how this is done.
You are up against Cruella Deville.
You are up against Nurse Ratchet.
You are up against people, you know who they are, and you're sitting there and you're still trying to play this little game.
You're afraid to come at them on this basis.
There's a story at the Politico today headlined, What Obama Wishes He Could Say.
You are going to lose with that attitude.
What I wish I could say.
It's a presidential campaign.
Say it.
Say it.
You are up against two of the most dishonest, proven track record failures, unscrupulous people ever to be in American politics, Bill and Hillary Clinton.
And you are letting them get away with once again portraying themselves as saviors, people on a white horse.
They've taken over your mantra of Messiah.
And believe me, there ain't too many people in America that think of Mrs. Clinton as a messiah.
Nor a vertical.
Never mind.
They do think that.
The bottom line, Obama campaign members, the bottom line is that you are sitting here on a tremendous opportunity in the waning hours, the waning moments of a campaign, and you are going to have to reverse this trend.
And the old campaign style of going out there and hoping people faint, all your little lofty platitudes, those days are over.
And something else you need to learn about the Clintons, this is on an assessment from my buddy Andy McCarthy at National Review Online.
In the Clintons, you're not dealing with candidates.
You're dealing with lawyers.
They don't care what happened yesterday.
They are not bogged down by what happened yesterday.
Yesterday never happened.
They are in today and planning for tomorrow.
And what happened yesterday has no concern to them, is of no concern.
So they don't allow themselves to get bogged down by whatever mistakes they think they have made.
They realize that the drive-by's attention span is two to four days max.
Were it otherwise, Hillary wouldn't be in this race.
What happened in the impeachment, Anne Lewinsky, every lie she told about the vast right-wing conspiracy.
Neither of these two, frankly, are qualified to be president.
But Obama, you're sitting on a gold mine out there that you are just failing to exploit.
And I warn you, as a commander-in-chief, Operation Chaos, if you don't exploit it, you are going to wake up one day and you're going to be in a hospital.
And there's going to be a surgical procedure to remove your head from someplace.
You're going to wonder how in the hell that it happened.
Mark my words.
This is, let me put my glass, and this is Shimaria.
Shimaria from Tampa, Florida.
Hi, Shimaria.
Welcome to the EIB Network.
Hi, Rush.
It's an honor to speak with you.
Thank you very much.
I am a young black Republican woman, 32 years old, conservative Republican.
Thank you.
Way to go.
Welcome home.
And I just want to say, first of all, that you snatched me from the claws of liberalism at a very young age listening to you.
So I have to thank you for that.
We're more than welcome.
I'm happy to hear that kind of story.
I'm also from Chicago, and I had a comment, but picking up on what you just said, I don't know if anybody has been thinking about really how Obama even became a senator.
I was there and active in the Republican Party at the time that he became, you know, he was running for the Senate.
And he has no experience in running a campaign, a serious campaign anyway.
I mean, he was basically given that seat.
Chicago machine.
He was given that seat.
And the whole premise that, you know, he's something new, yes, he's very new.
He's too new.
He's never run a campaign.
And that whole thing with Ryan, Jerry Ryan's husband, he had no candidate.
He had no opposition.
So he just became a senator just because he was in the right place at the right time.
But he had no one to campaign against.
Wait a minute.
That wasn't the right place at the right time.
There's more to it than that.
He's up against a candidate.
All of a sudden, the candidate's wife decides to let go of some secret materials involving their divorce to show what a pervert, so-called, the husband was.
And that ended his campaign.
Obama then just had to coast.
The Republicans sent Alan Keys in there from Washington, not even from Chicago.
That didn't go very well.
But the Chicago Machine arranges this kind of stuff.
That's why Obama went to the church.
That's why Obama went to Trinity United Church, is to get himself enmeshed and firmed up in the Chicago Machine.
And that church is the social hierarchy.
You must, if you're black and if you are affluent or successful in any way, that is the place to be.
Wait a second.
Did I just hear you correctly?
The congregation of Reverend Wright's Church is affluent?
I can't speak for the entire congregation, but the portion of there's a segment of black, upper, and middle, upper-middle class, and upper-class society, which is different than any other place.
And I've lived all over this country.
You have to belong to the right church.
And Reverend Wrong's Church is the right church.
It is a church where if you want to.
Sounds like you've been in that church?
I have been in that church.
Have you heard Reverend Wright's sermons in that church?
My grandmother listened to him on the radio every day recently.
I was even there last week.
And I will tell you this, although I've never heard anything that resembles that when I was there or when he has sent his pastors to my church.
And I'm Presbyterian.
I've never heard any of that.
But when I was back at home from people that I've known my entire life that are successful young black business owners, their belief is the exact same as what Reverend Wright was espousing.
Oh, we know.
There are there's a black liberation theology churches are, I mean, they're not dominant, but they're around.
It's one of the major problems that I think the black community faces is people like Reverend Wright continuing to poison the minds of parishioners in this regard.
We've discussed this at great length.
Shimaria, I'm glad you called.
I really appreciate it.
I got to run here a little bit long in this segment.
A brief time out.
We'll be back and continue right after this.
But this is a great song.
Rod Stewart and Ronald Eisley remake of this old heart of mine.
We are back.
Listen once again, ladies and gentlemen, to our neighbors from Florida in Washington yesterday protesting outside the Democrat National Committee headquarters.
We will shut down the convention!
Nobody will vote in!
I don't gotta go in!
If the Florida delegation is not seated, we will march on Denver!
We'll take all the buses!
These people are mad.
So it's another group promising to go to Denver and make sure the convention, well, doesn't go smoothly.
Let's put it that way.
It all hell breaks loose.
This comes one day after Roseanne Barr made a plea in front of five people listening to a radio show to also go to Denver and recreate what happened in 1968.
There are other troubles within the Democrat Party as well.
Two parts of the Democrat Party coalition, illegal immigration activists and the civil rights bunch, are feeling ignored.
They're mad that the immigration debate has fizzled as a campaign issue.
Luis Guthieris, head of a Chicago pro-illegal immigrant group, said it's a touchy subject.
So his organization and others are planning a series of public demonstrations that they hope will revive their movement.
I think some of them I've seen on television today.
Big mistake.
Luis, your sense of timing is horrible.
Rallies took place today, coming days, they will take place in Miami and Houston, Los Angeles, other cities, Chicago, representatives from the Reverend Jackson's Operation Push and Calypso Louis Nation of Islam are expected to join the struggle for the first time.
And they've also invited a bunch of gay activists.
I mean, the whole kitchen sink of the Democrat Party protest arm is being brought into this illegal immigration debate.
And you have to admit, if you look at this objectively, you have to admit that these guys have a point.
Illegal immigration has been largely ignored during the election cycle.
But you guys, Luis Guthieris, you guys are the immigration side and the civil rights crowd, the gay activists and environmentalist wackos, your plan is too small.
Nobody's going to care.
We got the Kentucky Derby coming up this weekend.
The baseball season's in full swing.
The NBA playoffs.
We got the campaign between Hillary and Obama.
Nobody's going to notice your little pathetic little protests in these towns.
You have to organize better than this.
There's limited value here in these demonstrations.
Only a thousand people at best are going to show up.
Listen to me.
I cannot believe how much help that I am offering the Democrat Party.
And I'll tell you what this means.
All of you people that think that the Democrats are invincible and that they're always a day or two or a week or two ahead of us and that they're just brilliantly organized.
This is the most disorganized group I've seen in a while in politics.
They are in total disarray.
Mr. Guthieris and the rest of you forming this group, the big political story this year is going to be the Democrat National Convention in Denver.
Every liberal worth his or her salt is going to be there.
You activists ought to be there too.
Bring Louis Farrakhan.
This guy by himself can pull off a million-man march.
You need somebody that can gather a million people to protest whatever it is you're mad about.
And the only place to do this is Denver in August.
Bring Jesse Jackson.
Bring the gay activists.
Bring every leftist group that you can think of.
Put millions of people together.
You've got a presidential convention here.
You're upset that the illegal immigration is not part of the presidential campaign.
There's one place to take this grievance.
Denver.
August Democrat National Convention.
Bring Reverend Wright.
This guy can light up a crowd.
We have seen this.
I'm so disappointed in the way the Democrats are running their affairs these days.
And it's really pathetic that I have to be the one to give them advice on how to do it right.
We have time to squeeze another call.
Time is tight, but we can handle it.
Mike in Warren, Ohio.
Nice to have you, sir, on the EIB network.
Oh, hi, Rush.
All right, I'm calling about Operation Chaos, which so far has been, you know, an incredible success.
I don't need to tell you that.
I just turned 18, and it was my first election, and I live in Ohio, and I voted for Clinton to throw off the whole Dems.
Basically, my question is this: since it's been so successful, what do you think, how do you think would, you know, what can we do to prevent the Democrats from trying this, you know, on the Republicans and doing their operations.
No, This is a great question.
You're 18.
Yes.
And so you have some things have happened where you were not old enough to be paying close enough attention.
Who do you think picked John McCain as the Republican Party nominee?
You think Republican?
No, You think Republican primary voters is the nominated McCain?
Probably more Independents.
Uh-huh.
And Democrats crossing over in places like New Hampshire.
It was in Michigan in 2000.
The Democrat Party chose our nominee.
They didn't put him over the top, but they gave him the early lead in the early states where there were not a whole lot of conservative Republicans in these early primary states.
The Democrats have been doing this as long as I have been alive and longer.
This is balance.
This is us playing by their rules.
To worry about if they turn it, they have never been this effective.
Well, they have, but they've had the whole drive-by media urging voters to do this and getting their message out.
We are but one show, and we have equaled and surpassed their efforts in the past.
