Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
Thank you.
Thank you.
No, no, no, no, no.
Thank you.
Please, ladies and gentlemen, please, thank you.
We must get started here.
I know you're all eagerly awaiting the opening of the program, and it has arrived.
Snerdly, we're going to do open line Friday on Wednesday today on the phones.
I'll explain that in a second here, folks.
In the meantime, welcome to the Rush Limbaugh program.
I am indeed Rush Limbaugh, Sink You Suck, Commander in Chief.
U.S. Operation Chaos.
Do you realize that we we I am loaded today?
There is more turmoil in the Democrat Party today than there was yesterday than there was the day before.
And the great thing about this turmoil is that the Democrats are the ones causing it and creating it.
And I, ladies and gentlemen, am here to tell you that it would not be going on with the intensity that it's happening, nor any of the volume that it's occurring without Operation Chaos.
Greetings, great to have you here.
Telephone number is 800-282-2882.
And the email address is L Rushbow at EIBNet.com.
I'm taking a couple vacation days tomorrow.
My annual spring fling weekend got a bunch of I got 15 or 16 people flying in this afternoon and tonight for the weekend.
I do this every year.
Normally it's it's around the cigar feast you're not a cigar night, the uh night of the century, uh, the annual night of the century, but it's not till the 16th, so we're doing it this weekend.
And I didn't uh making up for some time it didn't take early in January because of the primaries.
Who uh HR, who we got hosting on uh on Jason Lewis from Minnesota will be here both days, tomorrow and Friday.
And since I'm not gonna be here Friday, we're gonna do open line Friday today, so when we go to the phones, the uh content of the program is all yours.
Whatever you want to talk about, questions, comments, whines, moans, uh anything.
Feel free.
800-282-2882.
Operation Chaos continues on American Cable T. Oh, we have something.
I ran across something last night.
I've not seen this anywhere else.
I tried I I did as much as I could to verify this.
Uh Ryan Lizza in the uh in the New Republic a year ago.
Long story at the New Republic on their website.
If you print it out, it's nine pages long.
Reverend Jeremiah Wright, ladies and gentlemen, used to be a Muslim.
According to the New Republic a year ago.
It is interesting how this hasn't come up in the past year.
Yet it's in the New Republic a year ago.
Nine-page story.
He was a former Muslim.
This would explain why Obama is so frightened of the use of his middle name.
And it might explain Jeremiah Wright's cozying up to commit uh the Calypso Louis Farrakhan and traveling overseas to meet uh Moamer Qaddafi in uh in Libya.
And and of course, you've probably all heard by now.
Well, no, you haven't heard by now because you listened to me, and I haven't said anything about it yet, other than late in the program yesterday, the uh Obama people scrambling around at personal appearances, demanding more white people in the crowd to make it look a little bit more diverse.
Uh Michelle Obama out there articulating as well as her husband uh a pure socialistic leftist agenda.
For example, let me just tease you with this.
Michelle Obama was in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
And she was meeting with 50 working women who filled a room at a Harrisburg preschool.
I and and uh, you know, she she swept into the classroom of children ages two to six to read to them and so forth.
After all of that, she said that if she becomes first lady, she will focus on family issues.
Quote, if we don't wake up as a nation with a new kind of leadership for how we want this country to work, then we won't get universal health care.
The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then somebody's gonna have to give up a piece of their pie so that somebody else can have more.
This is no different than Mrs. Clinton saying she wants to take Exxon Mobile profits, rein in all of these profits.
Doesn't matter, Hillary or Obama, pure 100% liberals slash socialists.
To them everything is a zero-sum game.
If somebody gets a dollar more than they had, somebody had to lose a dollar.
This is an attack on capitalism.
It is a conscious attack on capitalism.
It is not that Obama and Hillary don't understand it.
They clearly do.
They don't like it.
And they clearly don't think it's a way to get elected.
They know their constituents.
And they know that they have created an entitlement mentality among as many people as possible.
They know that as part of this entitlement mentality is class envy.
They know that there are seething Americans, enraged at anybody who has anything more than they have.
And so the Democrats come along and promise to get even with those people.
And in the process of that happening, getting even with the job providers ends up killing jobs.
It hurts a little guy, the very constituent.
The Democrats claim to help by raising everybody's taxes.
So here is Michelle Obama saying if we're going to get universal health care to revamped education system, somebody going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that somebody else can have more.
And who's going to be in charge of that?
Barack Obama and Michelle and the Democrats in Congress.
Now to the audio sound bites.
This morning on CNN Live, they have launched a counteroffensive to Operation Chaos, ladies and gentlemen.
They are pushing the notion.
As I predicted, by the way, that Republicans are switching parties in Pennsylvania and elsewhere, not because of Operation Chaos.
Oh no.
But because Republicans love Barack Obama.
Here is the exchange between the anchor Tony Harris and the correspondent Dan Lothian.
Since January, more than a hundred and sixty thousand voters switched parties to take part in the upcoming Democratic primary.
And in longtime Republican suburbs around Philadelphia, like Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Democrats now have the advantage and registered voters for the first time in decades.
You might remember there was this movement, if you will, among conservative radio, in particular Rush Limbaugh to get Republicans to vote in Democratic primaries in order to sort of extend the process for the Democrats and disrupt the Democratic Party.
It's unclear whether or not that's at play here, but a Republican official tells me that he doesn't believe that that's an issue, certainly in the Pennsylvania area.
And he says that that's something that he would not endorse.
Yeah, folks are smarter than that.
Yeah, smokes.
Folks are smarter than it, Tony.
You should be as smart as the operatives in Operation Chaos.
Dimwit.
The Republican guy has to say this.
Republican Party is not going to act like they endorse all this.
The Republican Party's losing registration.
They have to play this up a different way.
And because they're timid to boot.
And make no mistake, there is no reason for all of this massive registration on the Democrat side other than Operation Chaos.
Yes.
And they know it, and they're doing everything they can to ignore it and now to discredit it.
Moving over to the situation room on CNN yesterday, Jack Cafferty posed this question if people email him back their answers.
It looks like voter turnout in the upcoming Pennsylvania primary, April 22nd, could follow those record-breaking trends that we've seen set all over the country this year.
The implications in Pennsylvania, not good for the Republicans, though.
4.2 million Democrats have registered in Pennsylvania so far this year.
That's almost a 14% increase from the 2004 Democratic presidential primary.
But Republican registration has remained virtually flat at 3.2 million voters.
What that means is Democrats now outnumber Republicans in some of the counties outside Philadelphia that have long been bastions for the GOP.
So here's the question.
Who benefits most from record Democratic voter registration in Pennsylvania?
There you have it.
So the the the the uh the counter-offensive, the counter strike uh against Operation Chaos, mounted now by CNN.
So Cafferty then got some email responses from his uh CNN audience.
Uh the question was who benefits most from record Democrat voter registration in Pennsylvania?
Scott writes Barack Obama will.
He's been able to excite and energize the electorate far more than Clinton has.
Hillary will only benefit if a large portion of the new voters are crossover Republicans who listen to Rush Limbaugh and want to keep her in the race.
Mark in North Carolina says, is this yet another setup question to push Obama?
Are we to assume that most or all new voters will vote for him?
We won't really know till April 22nd, will we?
Perhaps many of these new voters are simply sick and tired Of having the networks tell them who to nominate.
Well, the upshot of this bite is that in the first two bites that we played here with CNN, uh, an obvious effort to discredit Operation Chaos, saying people are too smart for that.
Uh, not going to fall for that.
And then when Cafferty starts reeling emails from the CNN viewers, CNN viewers readily acknowledge Operation Chaos.
Uh, so CNN's effort at their counteroffensive has failed because they made the mistake of putting their viewers on the air.
They're real people.
Now, last night on MSNBC on Hardball, Chris Matthews and Chatsworth Osborne Jr. have this exchange about the Democrat primary and Operation Chaos.
This is the first time in our lives where kids have said their parents, why don't you get out and vote for Barack?
I mean, there is a generational flip here.
I think that's right.
And you've seen like over 130,000 Republicans in the state of Pennsylvania become Democrats over the last 12 months.
That's older people almost by definition, people who had a party identification and have changed it.
Those are not like changing toothpaste.
No, it's not at all.
And in fact, I think that's a much more significant number than the voting numbers.
I mean, there are people who are taking Rush Limbaugh's orders and going out and creating opposition.
Listen, listen.
There are some people who are causing mischief.
Do you believe that Russell actually gets people to vote strategically?
I think that there are some, but I think that's far different from going to the office and saying I'm changing my party ID.
Here's the The ID is the key word.
That's a big thing.
Why did people I think it's a huge deal?
It's like almost like changing a religion.
One day you're a democrat Republican, and the next day your friends say, What are you politically?
And you say, I'm a Democrat.
Let's see.
Let's just see, ladies and gentlemen, what happens to Republican voter registration when we get to the general election.
Let's see if some of these Republicans who have crossed over to the Democrat Party to vote for Hillary and Operation Chaos in the April 22nd Pennsylvania primary, then jump back to the Republican side before the general.
And I will predict to you that they will, in significant numbers, close to the numbers that have now registered Democrat, but it won't be reported.
It will not be reported.
It will not be a story.
There will be no curiosity about it.
At the uh at the drive-by media.
I tell you you know that here's the thing.
The proof in this soundbite, ladies and gentlemen, that what I've been telling you all week, that these people have their budget meetings in the morning and decide what's going to be news and what isn't going to be news.
And one of the things that they're faced with each and every day is how do we report this Operation Chaos business?
How do we report all these Republicans registering as Democrats?
We know it's limbaugh.
We know it's Operation Chaos.
We can't give him credit.
So we're going to credit these Republicans for being fed up with Republican Party and uh loving Obama.
And that's that's that's the template.
That's the action line.
But then Matthews, after hearing Chatsworth Osborne Jr. credit Operation Chaos, come on, come on.
He's got a big enough ego already.
Stop it.
Don't build him up.
Proving the point of what's going on in all of the newsrooms around America regarding Operation Chaos.
Finally, before we go to the break from the uh from the BBC, Italian opposition leader Silvio Berlusconi has claimed that right wing female politicians are better looking than their left-wing counterparts.
Who can argue with this?
Rush Limbaugh, Sink Usack, Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Operation Chaos behind a golden EIB microphone in the heavily fortified and protected bunker of the EIB Southern Command.
Folks, it's going to take three hours today to go through everything I've got.
So just make plans just to be here the whole three hours because it takes that long to go through all this.
For example, a Jay Rockefeller flap over McCain being insensitive in war.
Uh McCain upset that Obama himself never apologizes for any of these slurs issued by his uh supporters.
Uh Bill and Hillary.
I got a new name for Bill and Hillary, Bagman and Robin.
Big story out there that while Mrs. Clinton is opposing the free trade deal with Columbia, that Bill Clinton in June of 2005 was paid $800,000 by the Columbia-based Gold Service International give four speeches throughout Latin America.
Uh and it's all about bringing investment to Latin America.
It's all about free trade.
Clinton paid 800 grand to give a speech and appearances On free trade.
Remember the Dubai ports deal.
Bill Clinton was paid a tremendous amount of money, I forget the exact amount, by Dubai in order to lobby the U.S. government for the ratification of the Dubai Ports deal.
In both cases, Mrs. Clinton opposed.
She opposes the free trade deal with Columbia, and she opposed the Dubai Ports deal.
Bagman and Robin.
It is quite the pair.
What a team, and it's structured this way on purpose.
Clinton goes out, rakes in huge bucks for his positions on this.
Mrs. Clinton, who's seeking votes rather than Bucks in this case, then is allowed to remain loyal to the Democrat Party base.
By the way, for all these drive-by media people who are trying to recast and uh and and discredit and impugn the integrity of the brilliantly conceived flawlessly executed Operation Chaos.
They're out there going nuts over the new voter registration when you hear, as you just heard in the soundbites, all the Democrats and in the media just having an orgasm over, wow, why this is the first time that Republicans had or Democrats have had more voter registration in Pennsylvania in years and years.
Well then, uh, if voter registration is the key indicator, why even bother to have elections?
You realize what they're saying is the election's over.
They think it's all over because all these Republicans are changing.
When did this start, by the way?
Before Operation Chaos was announced in Ohio and Texas.
Was there any reporting?
Did anybody notice large numbers of Republicans switching over registered Democrat and vote in the Democrat primary?
No.
It wasn't a story if it was happening, and nobody was keeping big track of it.
Only when Operation Chaos was launched publicly.
On this program did the drive-by start paying attention to this stuff.
And uh, don't let them discourage you, ladies and gentlemen.
They're trying to make you think you're irrelevant and inconsequential.
But of course, that is not the case.
From an account in the Carnegie Mellon University newspaper, The Tartan of a Michelle Obama event in Pittsburgh.
Well, the crowd indeed was diverse.
Some students at the event questioned the practices of Mrs. Obama's event coordinators who handpicked the crowd sitting behind her.
The Tartan's correspondence observed one event coordinator say to another, get me more white people.
We need more white people.
To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, We're moving you.
Sorry, it's gonna look so pretty, though.
I didn't, I did I didn't know they would say we need a white person here, said attendee.
Uh Shana Watson, who's a senior psychology major, sat in the crowd behind Mrs. Obama.
I understood they'd want to show a diversity, but to pick up people and a reseatum, I didn't know I didn't know it'd be so outright.
I mean, I'm not sure there's any real reason uh uh you know here for this, but they still uh we need more white people.
We need more white people.
Does that jive with anything the Reverend Jeremiah Wright says?
By the way, speaking of that, this is from uh the Chicago Sun Times.
You know, I got to tell you something.
If it weren't for newspapers like the Carnegie Mellon Tartan and the Chicago Sun-Times and local newspapers, we wouldn't know half of what we are learning about Barack Obama, his politics, and his intentions.
Chicago Sun-Times yesterday, moving to nip in the bud some potential bad press.
White House hopeful Barack Obama's campaign persuaded a delegate to step down after she was ticketed for calling her neighbors African American children monkeys.
Linda Ramirez Sluinski.
I guess she's Hispanic Polish.
Linda Ramirez Sloinski, a Carpentersville village trustee, was elected as an Obama delegate to the DNC.
She sports an Obama sign in her front yard on Saturday.
Two neighbor children were playing in the tree next door to her house.
She came outside, she told the children to quit playing in the tree like monkeys.
The tree was not on her property, said the police commander.
Ramirez Slavinski admitted she used the word monkeys, but said she didn't intend racism.
She said She was only trying to protect them from falling out of the tree.
The mother of one of the children didn't see it that way, noting she and Ramirez Slavinski have clashed before.
She felt it was racist because of the fact that children were African American.
Told of the incident.
Monday by the Chicago Sun Times, Obama's campaign called Ramirez Slawinski and persuaded her to step aside as a delegate, because the campaign felt that her remarks were divisive and unacceptable.
Frankly, my friends, I was far more offended when Barack Obama disrespected his grandmother than by this comment.
What if what about what the Reverend Jeremiah Wright?
This woman was ticketed $75 for calling these two kids monkeys.
The police commander said, yeah, that uh we with disorderly conduct when a person does something that alarms or disturbs another.
Meanwhile, Jeremiah Wright gets a total 100% pass back in a sec.
As usual, folks, half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair.
We're gonna get to your phone calls, El Quicko.
Still a lot here I want to set the table with.
Operation Chaos continues, Lanny Davis today in the Wall Street Journal, a Clinton operative, a huge liberal Democrat, attacking Jeremiah Wright.
You know, all week long I have been saying that the uh the great people of flyover country in this country are not going to forget Jeremiah Wright.
They're not gonna let that out of their minds, no matter how much the drive-by media tries to sweep it under the rug or sugarcoat it uh in the coming months.
So what's happening now with Operation Chaos?
The Democrats are keeping the issue of Jeremiah Wright alive.
Under the rubric of race and religion, the party that supposedly is so tolerant of all of those things.
And I submit to you, ladies and gentlemen, this would not be happening were it not for Operation Chaos.
It is rich.
It has rich.
The drive-by media has been scared off of the Jeremiah Wright story, but the Hillary attack machine is alive and well.
Lanny Davis taking his gunner position in the Wall Street Journal op-ed pages today.
He begins by writing, I've tried to get over my unease surrounding Obama's response to the sermons and writings of his pastor.
But the unanswered questions remain.
I'm a strong supporter and a substantial fundraiser for Hillary.
And I speak only for myself here.
I believe she should and will be the Democrat nominee.
But if Senator Obama wins a nomination, he needs to understand that this issue of Reverend Wright goes well beyond Clinton partisans.
Now is the time to address these questions, not later.
Clearly, Obama doesn't share the extremist views of Reverend Wright.
He's a tolerant and honorable person, but that's not the issue.
The questions remain.
Why did he stay a member of the congregation?
Why didn't he speak up earlier?
And why did he reward Reverend Wright with a campaign position even after knowing of his comments?
My concerns were re-triggered when I read for the first time three excerpts from Reverend Wright's sermons published several weeks ago in a national news magazine.
Now, we are led to believe here from Lanny Davis, who I also believe is a tolerant and honorable person.
If let me I don't think there's anything tolerant about Barack Obama.
There's nothing tolerant of it.
Barack Obama is a pure 100% leftist.
He is not tolerant of other views.
His objective is as it should be.
That's his objective.
That's his wife's objective.
That's Mrs. Clinton's objective.
That's all liberals' objective.
To wipe us out.
They're not tolerant of us.
You think they're tolerant of us?
You think they were tolerant of Clarence Thomas, Robert Bork?
Take your pick.
Honorable, that's debatable.
But I find it I find it awfully strange as the first time Lanny Davis has read these comments.
See, his he needs an excuse to write this piece now.
This is not just happenstance.
It's not just accidental that this happens.
This is part of the Clinton Inc.
Operation War Room.
And so his hook is, I just read those comments.
I had seen them on television, as everybody else said.
But when I read them, whoa.
That's they were they were retriggered.
My concerns are retriggered when I read for the first time.
So he submits an op-ed to some newspapers, newspapers say, Well, these quotes are old hats.
Lanny Davis said, I just read them.
You know they have a far different impact when you read them than when you just see them.
So he gets the op-ed in the Wall Street Journal.
And here are the three excerpts that he says when he read really troubled him, retriggered his concerns about Reverend Wright.
We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon.
We never batted an eye.
We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and the black South Africans, and now we're indignant because the stuff we've done overseas is how now brought back right to our own front yard.
America's chickens are coming home to roost.
The government wants us to sing God bless America.
No, no, no, no.
God bleep America.
That's in a Bible for killing innocent people.
God bleep America for treating our citizens as less than human.
And the United States of white America.
Those are three comments that Lanny Davis says when he read, everything was retriggered.
As I read and reread these words, I keep thinking, if my rabbi ever uttered such hateful words in a pulpit about America and declared all Palestinians to be terrorists, I have no doubt I would have withdrawn immediately from his congregation.
In his eloquent Philadelphia speech, Mr. Obama likened Reverend Wright to a beloved but politically extremist family member, with whom one profoundly disagrees, but whose rage one understands.
But this comparison just doesn't work for me, writes Mr. Davis.
I don't get a chance to choose my family members.
I do get a chance to choose my spirit.
See, these points were made by us on this program on day one.
There's this is not the first time it's occurred to Mr. Davis.
This is this stuff is just being recycled now as if it were ginning up for the Pennsylvania primary.
Make no mistake about it, and the hook is I just read these things.
Whoa, it's even worse than I thought.
I love this.
These Clinton people are not giving up, they're not going anywhere, and they have been energized by Operation Chaos.
Let me cut to the chase here to the end of this piece.
Some have suggested that any Clinton supporters who continue to raise this issue are playing the race card or taking the low road.
When I said on CNN recently that concerns about the Wright Obama issue were appropriate to continue to be discussed, my friend Joe Klein of Time Magazine said, Lanny, Lanny, Lanny, you're spreading the poison right now.
Then an honorable person would stay away from this stuff.
See, that's the Stalinist-like attempt by the left.
When there's anything damaging out there or harmful.
Come on, it's been said.
It's been said, it's been rerun, it's on television over.
You're just being dishonorable, Lanny, by recycling this.
Give it a rest, L. Because it's hurtful to us.
It could harm Obama.
Shut up, Lanny.
Don't you know what you're doing?
But Lanny does not back down in his counter-strike here in the Wall Street Journal.
He says, attacking the motives of those who feel this discomfort about Senator Obama's response or non-response to Wright's comments is not just unfair and wrong.
By the way, Lanny, welcome to the world of conservatives now.
This is how we have always been reacted to when we attempt to do what you are doing today in the Wall Street Journal.
He says it also misses the important electoral point about winning the general election in November.
This issue is not going away.
Amen, Lanny.
As we have been stating all week on this program, it is not going away.
If many loyal progressive Democrats, i.e., liberal Democrats, remain troubled by this issue, then there must be even more unease among key swing voters, the soft Reagan Democrats, the Independents, and moderate Republicans.
One thing for sure, if Obama doesn't show a willingness to try to answer all the questions now, John McCain and a Republican attack machine.
Lanny, the first mistake you've made in your piece, there isn't a retire.
Well, there is not a Republican Party attack machine.
McCain has laid down the law.
There won't be any of this.
In fact, McCain's running around demanding Obama apologize for what Jay Rockefeller said.
In order, That's right.
To keep this an honorable, meaningful campaign, I shall not resort to these kinds of tactics.
And he won't.
So it's going to be up to surrogates.
Like I, like me, Rush Limbaugh, Sink Yusuck, Commander-in-Chief U.S. Operation Chaos.
McCain and the Republican attack machine will not waste a minute pressuring Obama to do so if he's the Democrat Party's choice in the fall.
But by then, Lannie Davis writes, it may be too late.
They are worried.
They are worried, and they think that this Reverend Wright stuff is going to give them a chance, and when they learn what's out there next.
New Republic.
And it's about a year ago, I have forget the exact dates, but it's in March of 2007.
It's a story by Ryan Lizza.
Now, I must say at the outset, you know, the I went to the New Republic, clicked on the links, and the stories there.
But the reason I'm I'm a little hesitant about this is that I haven't seen it anywhere else.
The New Republic has a pass.
They make things up.
Uh they've planted phony soldiers over in Iraq.
So I want to wade into this, ladies and gentlemen, with extreme caution.
Extreme caution.
Because I would think if the New Republic uh published this just a year ago and the author's Ryan Lizza, bring it back.
Of course, I don't know in whose camp they're in, uh, the Obama camp or the uh or the Hillary camp.
Uh, but their story from a year ago in the New Republic, if you print this thing out, it's nine pages long.
Jeremiah Wright is a former Muslim.
Now, assuming this is factually correct, and I say assuming, because it's in the New Republic, then Jeremiah Wright's connection uh is more a bridge to Barack's father's religion in Lewis Farrakhan than it is to Martin Luther King Jr.
Saul Olinski is referred to in this piece.
He's Hillary's spiritual leader in terms of creating her own chaos.
Uh he was a major influence on Hillary, and and uh one of Olinski's big suggestions to his flock, so to speak, was to get involved in community organization, which is what Obama first did.
So March 7th, The New Republic, written by Ryan Lizas, senior editor of the New Republic, it's a biographical piece.
In the article, it explicitly states that Jeremiah Wright is a former Muslim.
Here are the excerpts.
From Wright and others, Obama learned that part of his problem as an organizer was that he was trying to build a confederation of churches, but wasn't showing up in the pews on Sunday.
When pastors asked him the inevitable questions about his own spiritual life, Obama would duck them uncomfortably.
A Reverend Phillips put the problem to him squarely when he learned that Obama didn't attend services.
Might help your mission, Obama, if you had a church home.
Doesn't matter where, really.
What you're asking from pastors requiring us to set aside some of our more priestly concerns in favor of prophecy, that requires a good deal of faith on our part.
It makes us want to know just where you're getting yours from.
After many lectures like this, Obama decided to take a second look at Jeremiah Wright's church.
Older pastors warned him that Trinity was for puppies.
Black urban professionals didn't have enough street cred, but Wright was a former Muslim and a black nationalist who had studied at Howard and Chicago and Trinity's guiding principles, what the church calls the black value system, including a disavowal of the pursuit of middle classness.
A former Muslim.
A former Muslim now sh now let's let's, again, assuming that this is factually correct, wouldn't it make sense now that explain Obama's sensitivity about his middle name?
Wouldn't it explain Wright's fascination with Louis Farrakhan?
And of course Mohammed Qaddafi.
If factually correct, surely, surely, surely here, ladies and gentlemen, Obama had to know that Wright was a former Muslim.
Uh In fact, might that have been part of the attraction?
I mean, Obama's father was Muslim.
Might that not have been part of the attraction.
Now, two things are going to be said.
If this proves out to be factually correct, that Jeremiah Wright was a former Muslim.
They're going to say two things.
Well, Rush, you know, you bring this up, it's unfair.
You got to let this die.
This is just guilt by association.
Now bring that up again.
And then, oh, yeah, well, you must you must hate Muslims to bring this.
No.
I don't know.
I think this is vital and interesting information, particularly if it's being withheld.
And if his news, if true, is going to cause most people to get offended, then whoa.
Interesting to note that.
What we do know, Obama was a Marxist in college.
He was a Saul Alinsky activist in Chicago.
I mean, to call him a community activist is nonsense.
Alinsky was a Stalinist, at least in my view.
And then Obama ends up being attracted to a church because he likes what the pastor stands for.
Lanny Davis is more right than he knows, R. I. G. H. T. So he is more right than he knows in his Wall Street Journal piece today.
And to me, folks, it is patently obvious that but for these local newspapers like the Tartan at Carnegie Mellon, the Charlotte Observer, the Chicago Sun Times, even the bi-monthly or weekly, whatever it is, New Republic, we would know very, very, very little about Obama and his wife.
We really don't know much.
This is one of the things that the Wright, the Jeremiah Wright episode, uh spawned.
Who are these people?
And twenty years with this church, who are these people?
So I think the bottom line is this.
The public needs to understand that if they elect Obama, they're going to be choosing to remake their country into a socialist model where taxation will be extreme on individuals and small businesses.
Uh, that especially will include the middle class.
When you start talking small business, you're talking tax increases on the middle class.
The Federal become government massive, almost dictatorial, reaching into medical decisions, the way we live our lives through environmental and other claims.
So um uh we'll see if uh if this has any traction, if there's any any truth to it.
I'm running way late here.
The next segment's gonna be real short, folks.
But this was worth it.
Yeah, so Lanny Davis says that Barack Obama very tolerant, right?
He's not even tolerant of his own delegate.
Has his campaign call up a delegate, say you're out, babe.
You don't call your neighbors' kids monkeys.
I can't handle this.
Well, what about the Reverend Wright?
Well, he's been dealt with.
He has not been dealt with.
Barbara in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, you have the dubious honor of being our first caller today.
Great to have you here.
Fine, thank you.
I was just telling your commentator, talking about your operation chaos.
I work at the polls in Pennsylvania.
And I've personally had three friends call and tell me that they have now re-registered to be Democrats in the Operation Chaos Plan.
But my point to him was if these people are going to use this as their indicator that the Democratic Party is building, once the primary's over, and if they stick to that, I don't know a lot of these people will run back and re-register back to Republican because in the general they'll just vote for whoever they want to.
And I know in Operation Chaos, they're going to um they have absolutely no intentions of voting for any Democratic candidate in the general election that they're going to be.
Okay, let me see if I understand.
You're worried that some non-Operation Chaos operatives who have crossed crossed the aisle and registered Democrat won't bother to go back and re-register Republican.
They'll just vote the way they want.
They won't change it right away.
Right, and they'll leave the they'll still give a Democrats a registration option.
Right.
Uh advantage.
Well, I mean, if they're using that as their indicator, say, oh, we have all this massive.
Right, right.
Well, let's just wait for the general.
I was trying to say if they if they want to count election results based on voter registration, let's just pull let's let's let's pump that up.
Yeah.
Let's let's get let's get them thinking that they uh they've already got this in the bag.
Yeah.
Because I've also had Republicans say to me, I'm very worried about the election because of this uh amount of surge and the registration in the Democrats.
That's not why people are worried about the election.
Well, I mean, I've had some people say that to me.
And I've said I've known people that have re-rounded.
Yeah, I know that's anecdotal, but that's not why Republicans are worried about the election.
I've got to remind me to continue this when the next hour starts.
I've got to run real quick.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, uh, thank you.
First hour is in the can on the way over to the museum.
The warehouse, housing artifacts for the future Limbaugh Broadcast Museum.
Sit tight.
