Welcome to today's edition of the Rush 24-7 podcast.
Little old me.
Little old me.
Causing them to go over the edge.
It continues.
Democrats continue to lose their minds.
I'm happy.
And I am honored, ladies and gentlemen, to be the primary cause of it.
And we've only just begun.
We have a whole year, thirteen more months of this to go.
So let's get started today.
It's Friday, and you know what that means.
Live from the Southern Command in sunny South Florida.
It's open line Friday.
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
Yahoo!
Here we go into the weekend, folks.
Open line Friday.
And we'll try to take as many of your calls today as possible.
A telephone number 800-282-288-2, the email address rush at EIB net.com.
And you know the drill.
Monday through Thursday, I determine everything that happens here.
If I'm not interested in it, we don't talk about it.
But on Friday, I throw all of that out.
And we go to the phones.
The show is yours.
You can ask a question, make a comment.
If I don't care about it, I will fake it.
As best I can.
Again, 800-282-2882 and the email address rush at EIB net.com.
You've seen this Fox News poll.
Nearly one in five Democrats say the world will be better off if the United States loses the war.
One in five of like 20% of a Democrats.
What was that other 35% of Democrats think that Bush knew about 9-11?
Now we get 20% of Democrats think that we'd be better off if uh if if we lost, the world would be better off if we if we lose the war.
Does this surprise anybody?
What what the another way to look at this though is it means four out of five Democrats don't think that, so where the hell are they?
Where the hell are they and what are they saying?
You know, Mark Twain had a uh quote I got this from National Review Online and the on the corner.
Mark Twain, in the beginning of a change, the patriot is a brave and scarce man, hated and scorned.
When the cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.
Uh one out of five Democrats.
73, by the way, 73% overall think it's better if we win.
That's still a scary low number.
73%, about three-fourths of the country think that we'll be better off if uh if we win.
All right, I want to go to the audio sound bites.
Last night on the Rusty Humphrey show, which airs nine to midnight Eastern time, he had as his guest the vice chair of vote vet.org, which is a group running these ads and getting this uh phony soldier smear ginned up.
And I've got uh I've got two bites here.
Humphrey, the guy's name is Brandon Friedman, and Rusty Humphrey says, why?
What why are you doing this honestly?
What what is your reasoning behind this?
The problem I have with Rush Limbaugh is that he enables policymakers who have gotten our country into a lot of trouble.
We're in a lot of trouble.
I mean, we we've got some serious problems with Islamic extremism globally.
And we can't address those problems correctly.
Why?
Because we're bogged down in another country's religious civil war.
Okay, so it's not what Rush said.
It's who Rush supports.
And because he helped get them elected, he needs to be taken down.
Is that no?
It's a pattern of what he does.
I mean, he this guy has a voice, and he affects people.
Right.
There you have it.
I mean, what the guy, ladies and gentlemen, a leading spokesman for vote vets.org, admitting publicly that the reason the liberal hit squad's attacking me is because they don't agree with my position on the war and that I'm influential.
Now let me ask you a question.
Is that what we should be doing in America?
I mean, knowingly smearing somebody because you disagree with his policy views, lying about what he said, trying to destroy his character, because that's what this gentleman has just admitted doing.
Anyone who practices these kinds of tactics ought to be ashamed of themselves.
Whether they're civilians or used to wear the uniform or still wear the uniform, lying about somebody's statements to advance your own policy objectives is not honorable, and it'll it it won't work because there's no substance behind it.
Let me suggest that the uh the the vast majority of men and women in uniform today, as well as those who have served before, do not want us to lose.
They don't want this mission to fail, and they don't sign on to the anti-war movement led by the likes of Harry Reed.
And let me let me further suggest this.
Vote Vets.org doesn't represent the vast majority of veterans out there.
I think the American Legion and the veterans of foreign wars, with literally millions and millions of members, are far more representative of the vets in this country than vote vets.org, and yet they are portrayed, much as other fringed liberal groups as huge and powerful and influential,
and they're not, and this audio clip indicates that they are feeling powerless to stop people like me and my influence, and so I have to be taken out with a smear.
Now, one thing I want to also point out, you know, when Harry Reid went to the floor of the Senate this past Monday to denounce me, uh he didn't cite to this group, did he?
He didn't mention vote vets.org.
Uh they never hold press conferences with them.
I mean, I never see Dingy Harry with members of vote vets.org standing with him on the podium.
Why is that?
Could it be?
Because they don't share the policy positions of Reed and his ilk.
They want our combat forces to have the equipment additional support they need to win the war, and this group doesn't really even like Reed too.
Maybe maybe it is that Reed's embarrassed to be with these guys.
You don't think that's what it is?
It's uh that well meets with them secretly.
Well, that's probably right.
That's probably right.
The reason Dingy Harry and the rest of the Democrats do not show publicly with members of vote vets.org is because they don't know, they don't want you to know the intricate degree of coordination between these anti-war groups and elected Democrats in the House and the Senate.
And that's why they'd ever cite them.
That's why Dingy Harry didn't cite them.
He made it his own words.
He said, Limbaugh said this, he had no idea what I said.
He didn't care what I said.
The vote vet.org and the media matters types fed him the data.
It worked.
This is and was a coordinated smear, and they don't want the coordination noticed.
Orchestrated from day one here, folks, as I have explained repeatedly, and not thanks to vote vets.org and one of its spokesmen, this fact has been underscored.
You know, the the American Legion, the veterans of foreign wars, these are these are organizations with literally millions and millions of members.
And I side with them.
I side with the American Legion.
Uh I don't share the views of VoteVets.org, which works closely with Harry Reed and a number of other elected Democrats.
And because I share the same position as most of our soldier soldiers, and in this Fox poll, because I share the position of most of the American people who do not want us to lose.
I support the troops in this war, as anybody with a brain knows.
And I'm attacked over my support for the troops in the war by claims I oppose the troops.
And Wesley Clark is still on the bandwagon doing.
It was in Sacramento yesterday on uh on our blowtorch affiliate out there, KFPK, still attacking my constant criticism of uniform military personnel.
Think about how nutty that is.
And the fact that it has received the endorsement of many in the media underscores why so many of you have nothing but contempt for the drive-by media because you know of the coordination.
The one place it hasn't spread, it hasn't spread to the drive-by media in mass.
It stayed pretty relegated at cable.
Um they wanted to create the same kind of blowback that the move on.org got, and they have failed.
And they've failed for a simple reason.
People at the New York Times, the Washington Post, the three networks know this is a smear.
They know this is a they'll be glad to take me out if they something comes up that they think is legitimate that they can push, but they didn't want any part of this, and they've had nine days now to get on it.
They didn't want any part of this because they know This is a smear, and they know of the coordination.
The truth of that should be then, if they know that it's a smear, where is that story?
Where is that story against vote vet.org and media matters?
So it's not that they're trying to protect me, it's that they just want to wait for their next chance, and they're not going to go out and attack uh fellow leftists on this.
I got one more sound bite here from uh from Brandon uh Brandon Friedman, who was on Rusty Humphreys uh show last, which airs nine to midnight Eastern time.
Uh Humphries does most of the talking in this bite.
Brandon Friedman pipes in at the end.
Again, he talked about this Jesse McBeth the day before.
He talked about him on that show, the day of the show, the day after the show, he's explained himself, and still you're gonna continue, and you'll support what Harry Reid said, taking this out of context?
Come on, Brandon, that's not fair.
That's not right.
I could take what you said out of context.
I mean, this guy explained and explained and explaining you're still spreading these lies saying that he called a soldier a suicide bomber?
And what about Tom Harkin?
Do you think it was okay for Tom Harkin to accuse Rush Limbaugh to be on drugs?
Yeah, it maybe it's not appropriate for the Senate floor, but it's true.
Uh so that you know, there's an interview today that I I granted interview to the Palm Beach Post on uh on Wednesday night, and it was published in the Palm Beach Post today.
And the subject, some somebody over at the uh pretrial diversion office, uh, let a reporter see.
I have to fill out a monthly report to the pretrial diversion office that ends, by the way.
This is the last month of it.
This will be 18 months.
And the form asks a bunch of personal questions, information, name, address, phone number, you've got to put it down every month, the email address, uh, how much you earn during the month, and you have to testify whether you've used illegal drugs, this sort of thing, and you had monthly drug tests that are performed, past them all, have not have not even been tempted.
And I told a guy in the newspaper, that Jose Lambia, Jose Limba.
I've never been tempted to go back to it.
Story Today opens.
Sorry, Tom Harkin.
Rush Limbaugh is not on drugs.
And the proof comes from the state of Florida.
So here we have Brandon Freedman.
Play this bite again.
He thinks it's totally true.
What Tom Harkin said, it was just inappropriate where Harkin said it.
Again, he talked about this Jesse McBeth the day before.
He talked about him on that show, the day of the show, the day after the show.
He's explained himself.
And still you're gonna continue.
And you'll support what Harry Reid said, taking this out of context?
Come on, Brandon, that's not fair.
That's not right.
I could take what you said out of context.
I mean, this guy explained and explained and explained, and you're still spreading these lies saying that he called a soldier a suicide bomber?
And what about Tom Harkin?
Do you think it was okay for Tom Harkin to accuse Rush Limbaugh to be on drugs?
Yeah, it maybe it's not appropriate for the Senate floor, but it's true.
That's uh Brandon Friedman of VoteVets.org.
So uh look at these people have been caught in a big lie.
They've admitted it themselves.
Now they've admitted their own ignorance, their own prejudice, and their own bias, and this is one of the two groups behind this smear that's now in its ninth day.
And uh they have they've been totally exposed and discredited for who they are and what their purpose was.
I want to thank Rusty Humphreys for uh making this audio available to me this morning.
I gotta take a quick timeout.
We'll be back and continue after this.
Stay with us.
Hi, welcome back, Rush Limbaugh talent on the loan from God as we continue to uh use up, I'm sure more than my quota, more than my fair share, the libs like to say of fun.
Having more of it than a human being should be allowed to have from the American Spectator today, their online uh WWSpectator.org.
This is the Prowler Senate Democrats who've spent the week attacking Rush Limbaugh, received much of their information about the controversy from Media Matters as well as from MoveOn.org and all the other organizations.
Um Democrats had not done their homework became clear on Wednesday when Dingy Harry had his staff call over demanding that the Pentagon put liberal radio hosts on Armed Forces Radio.
It's the dirty little secret here is that Congress has nothing to say about who's on Armed Forces Radio.
But Dingy Harry, taking whatever information is fed to him, calls a Pentagon, and uh and he says, by the way, why why why no liberals on Armed Forces Radio?
Uh but the problem was that Armed Forces Radio already broadcasts extensive shows, some National Public Radio.
Only one hour of this program is on uh Armed Forces Radio Network.
Uh and there are plenty of other liberal hosts.
Now there used to be more, but they have gone bankrupt.
And they are out of business.
There used to be a lot of liberal hosts on uh and there still are some uh Wesley Clark was also unaware that some liberal hosts and NPR were staples of the military's entertainment and information broadcast and Clark headed up the NATO command.
So uh it it it continues to just uh uh the amazing to find out what these supposedly best and brightest among us don't even know and what they will believe from people who just feed them anything.
I really folks I gotta tell you we we had these cuts from David Israel from the Florida House.
He is from the district where the broadcast engineer of this program resides and uh uh we played those uh soundbites yesterday they were just over the top they were s they were embarrassed this guy should have been embarrassed to show his face in public being so uninformed and sounding so ridiculous and and the broadcast engineer sends me notes he says this really scares me.
If this guy can't get this right what the hell does he know about what he's voting on?
We could ask that about every damn one of these people that's joined this dingy Harry and these people in the Senate when can we ever believe anything they say again?
Somebody lies to you once it's not a standalone event.
And these games we know they lie constantly we know that but this is so blatant and so wide out in the open that it ought to have everybody questioning exactly what these people are voting on what they think they see when they read loads of if they do or any time else they open their mouth.
Now it's it's it's getting ridiculous if this wasn't ridiculous, try this we have a montage we have some bites here.
This is a montage last night and this morning from uh CNN Fox News uh on the latest allegation by Elizabeth Edwards Mr. Snerdley have you heard about this one?
Listen to this Elizabeth Edwards taking some shots at Rush Limbaugh the latest wave of protest against conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbach and this just in Elizabeth Edwards now is questioning Russia's draft affirmant during the Vietnam War will have all those details the latest on the left versus limbaugh you know let me make something very clear.
The Democrats are running against me.
They are not running against Fred Thompson.
They're not running against Rudy Giuliani they're not running against Mitt Romney.
They're not running against Mike Huckabee.
They're not running against Ron Paul.
They are running against me.
Make no bones about it, folks make no mistake here is last night let's see um uh the s some radio show in Air America last night he interviewed Elizabeth Edwards uh and uh said this about interviewing her I got a note from your PR person who is wonderful and uh she said I'm sure you've talked about the offensive limbaugh comments on the show.
Elizabeth is the daughter of a career Navy pilot, and this has got her furious.
Please feel free to ask her about it.
So the Edwards PR people are sending out to friendly media types questions they want to be asked when Elizabeth Edwards shows up.
So, dutifully, the Breck girl sends his wife out to attack their main obstacle, me.
And this is on the same show the guy you just heard.
My classmates went to Vietnam.
He did not.
He was 4F, which had a medical disability, the same medical disability that probably should have stopped him from spending a lifetime in a radio announcer's chair.
But frankly.
That's very funny, Elizabeth.
Well, it's true, isn't it?
I mean, if he has an inoperable condition that doesn't allow him to serve, presumably it should also allow him not to be able to sit for long periods of time in the way he does.
Uh, inoperable.
No such thing as inoperable.
Um, this, this is, I don't even want to dignify any of this with reactions to this.
to it because it's so irrelevant.
But it is clear, ladies and gentlemen, they are uh they're running against me.
Here's another bite from Elizabeth Edwards on that radio show last night.
I think that this is a serious enough offense that the people who who fund him, the people who buy ads on these uh that allow him to be on the air, need to be asked if this is really what they stand for.
Do they really think it's all right for somebody who has never served to denigrate, the men and women who have simply because they're expressing an opinion, which frankly I thought that's what we're fighting for.
Elizabeth, you're late to the party.
You should have gotten in on this earlier, but all these people who have said that I make up these that made up these statements, but things I say about military people have been shown and demonstrated to be abject total liars.
They've even admitted it in their own way.
We'll take a timeout and be right back after this.
You know it, and I know it.
The number one enemy, the number one obstacle of the Democrat Party to win the White House.
You are listening to him, Rush Limboy here on the EIB network, telephone number 800-282-2882, and the email address rush at EIBNet.com.
Go back and play audio soundbite number six again.
After that bite aired to do the proper analysis.
This is Elizabeth Edwards on a liberal radio show last night.
I think that this is a serious enough offense that the people who who fund him, the people who buy ads on these uh that allow him to be on the air, need to be asked if this is really what they stand for.
Do they really think it's all right for somebody who has never served to denigrate the men and women who have simply because they're expressing an opinion, which frankly I thought that's what we're fighting for.
Uh do you know the first thing here?
Um I think it's a serious enough offense.
There was no offense, Mrs. Edwards.
No offense.
The offense is you buying into a smear.
You should be embarrassed.
You have a law degree.
This is so beneath your intellectual capability.
You look like an abject fool alongside your husband, the Breck Girl, which, by the way, what was his draft number?
Where the hell did he serve?
And show me where he's such a big supporter of victory on behalf of the U.S. military.
You can't.
He's part of the cabal trying to secure defeat for the U.S. military.
So you guys want to make me your number one target.
Go ahead.
I have body armor.
I'm wearing it right now.
None of your attacks, none of your attacks are going to contain anything legitimate, and as such, they're just going to bounce right back into your mouth and you're going to end up choking on them.
Notice that serious enough offense are the people who fund him.
Mrs. Edwards, this is a program taking place in the private sector.
There is no funding here.
An investment took place.
We scrounged and we starved for a couple of three years, and then it started to grow.
We have clients who get results, and they're getting better and bigger results the last nine days than they've ever gotten.
And it's all already huge to begin with.
We are not a pack.
We don't run around and ask for contributions.
We earn what we have.
And we don't tell lies in court and emotional tales, and we don't chase ambulances to do it.
We are in the private sector earning everything we do.
We never walk around with our handout.
Whoever supports us on this program with advertising support gets far more in return than what they pay.
And that's why they're here.
And that's why you will not talk them out of it.
Because this is a business.
This is not a public entity.
It is not a government program.
There is no funding that takes place here whatsoever.
One more bite from Mrs. Edwards, and again from this liberal radio show last night.
Question, were you disappointed Senator Kerry conceded as quickly as he did?
I was very disappointed.
Uh not just because we didn't count the votes, but because we promised people that if they stood in line, that they fought for their right to vote, that we would we would fight with them.
And I was very disappointed that the decision was made by the campaign over John's objection not to fight.
So now she's deluded herself into thinking that they won the election, but Carrie didn't have the guts to count the votes in Ohio.
And if he'd have done that and he let down the voters and so you know, come up with somebody else to campaign against because Carrie's not on the ballot.
I'm not on the ballot.
I mean, I don't want you to give up the campaign against me, Mrs. Edwards.
I I hope you keep it up.
You guys I don't know if her husband's not on the ballot yet.
Well, he will, but he's on these primary ballots.
Uh but um here's well, here we have we have a couple.
May as well stay with this.
Because she went over to uh Bret Girl, her her husband went over to CNN, was explaining a difference between him and Hillary.
Uh uh Wolf Blitzer has said, you said that Senator Clinton wants to extend the war, I will end the war.
What do you mean by that?
She said that she will continue, and I think I'm quoting her now, combat missions in Iraq.
And from my perspective, continuing combat missions in Iraq is a continuation of the war, and I want to have very clear differences between myself as the Democratic nominee next fall and the Republican, they'll be for continuing the war.
I want to end the war.
Senator Clinton wants less war, but wants to keep the war going.
I'm going to tell you something, Senator Edwards.
If you do happen to get the nomination...
And if by some totally un un uh uh uh confusing quirk you happen to be elected president.
The dirty little secret is you aren't pulling troops out of Iraq either.
Because you're not going to saddle defeat around your own neck.
You know that Mrs. Clinton and Barack Obama and whoever the hell else answer this question about how long troops will be in Iraq after they win the White House are telling the truth.
That was uh it was Hillary Barack and who else was I forget who else um uh oh wait a minute.
Edwards, wait a second.
Wait, didn't Edwards say that he would not make the commitment in that last debate they had?
Didn't Edward say he wouldn't make the commitment?
Yeah, it's right.
I forget was Russert, I think that did the interview, and they asked uh he asked the question about uh would you make uh commitment that the troops will be out by the end of your first term in Edwards?
No, I can't make that commitment.
Dirty little secret.
We're getting stories that are at variance with each other from the Breck Girl.
Next question.
Bletcher says, Would you let Al Qaeda have a free reign in Iraq?
George Bush says we got to keep our troops in Iraq, we got to keep combat troops in Iraq.
Al Qaeda's operating there, so we have to continue the war and keep our combat troops there.
I think that's wrong.
I think the foundation for the violence in Iraq is the dispute between the Sunni and Shia.
Yeah.
Uh didn't answer the question.
So this is this is the kind of people we're dealing with, but just so you know, I am the person they are running against.
It is now clear as a bell.
You should be proud, folks, that you are included in this.
They're running against you, too.
They know that you are informed.
They know that you are passionate, they know that you are inspired, they know that you are motivated, they know that you are voters.
They know that you understand who they are.
So as they run against me, they run against you.
We represent the single biggest obstacle they face to getting what they want.
I don't know what this says about the Republican Party, but I'll take it.
I'm happy to be raised up to this lofty perch of being enemy number one of the American left and the Democrat Party.
To the phones we go, Laura in uh in Weimar, California.
You're up first on Open Line Friday.
It's great to have you here.
Um hi, um, thanks for taking my call.
Um I've never called before, so I'm nervous.
But anyways, my point is that um I think with the mainstream media focusing so highly on you and so heavily on you, um, that they're giving people who are kind of on the fence with what they really feel as far as politics go.
Um an open invitation to listen to you if they haven't in the past.
Because they're spending so much time talking about you that if I was on the fence and wasn't sure what I thought or what my opinions were, I would want to listen to you because they're spending so much time talking about what you do on your radio show.
So I think that they're really shooting themselves in the foot.
On this one, no question, because if they're if what you say is is happening, and we uh who are highly trained specialists here know that it is, uh, then these people who are curiously tuning in are hearing quite a powerful denunciation of this whole effort, and they're hearing it done factually, they're hearing it done powerfully and with good cheer.
Uh They are not hearing what they would expect to hear if they happen to believe the lies that have come out of the mouths of elected Democrats and in the House and the Senate and uh and in other places.
You're very astute out there.
And you don't, by the way, you don't sound nervous at all.
Well, thank you.
I'm I'm really pleased to have an opportunity to share my thoughts because I I get so irritated with the talking hats on um TV because they just they they talk like we're idiots out here in in the normal voting world, and we're really not.
And I just think that it's absolutely wonderful that in the heat of politics that we're in now that they're basically giving you an open mic to everybody out there who watches their show to go, hmm, I think I'll listen to Limbaugh today and see what he has to say.
Because who wouldn't?
Curiosity is gonna drive them to turn on their radio.
Exactly right.
Once again, you're very astute out there, Laura.
By the way, Laura, one of my all-time top ten favorite female names, too.
Oh, thank you.
It is.
You're in the list.
Okay, I got to run.
I appreciate it.
Have a great weekend, O'Keefe.
You too.
Thank you so much.
Are you a football fan?
Yes, I am on the Steelers.
Steelers!
And my husband likes the Seahawks, so we have a bit of a rival in our house.
Next Sunday, my Steelers are gonna No, this son, it's just they are gonna crush my husband's Seahawk.
Yeah, that's it's gonna happen.
It's gonna happen.
Well, I'm glad you called, and it's great to know that you're a Steelers fan.
I am.
I I think they're great, and uh I think they're gonna have a great season.
Hope so.
Hope you're right.
We'll track it.
Thanks again, Laura.
Be right back after this, folks, with much more.
Fast and Furious here at the EIB Southern Command, L. Rushbow, soon to be amidst billowing clouds of fragrant aromatic first and second.
I'm gonna light it now.
I have not I have been so swamped here.
I have not had a chance to even light the uh the cigar.
For those of you that want to know, this is a uh La Flor Dominicana double lighter chisel.
Uh double Aguero means it is strong.
It's the strongest cigar I've ever smoked.
It's one of the best smelling cigars, too, as told to me by even people who don't like them.
And it is called a chisel because it's rolled in the shape of a chisel at the area you cut.
Ah, here we go.
Fragrant billowing clouds of aromatic cigar smoke.
All right, Gary in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, you're next, sir on the EIB network.
Great to have you with us.
Thank you for taking my call, Rush.
I just uh wanted to know if you were following this fiasco that's going on in uh Florida with regards to the Democratic primary, because I was under the impression that this was the party that wanted every vote to count and didn't want to disenfranchise voters.
Yeah, but there's a larger issue than that.
That's not really true.
These are the people that wouldn't even count or tried not to count the absentee ballots of overseas military personnel in the Florida 2000 aftermath.
I'm sure you remember that, right?
Oh, yes.
Yeah, these people they're not all the what the Democrats are putting on display is that all the supposed stuff that they are free speech, open-minded, tolerant, is all BS.
These people are socialists and they want to control as much as everybody's li have everybody's lives as they can.
Now, this this Florida business is interesting on two fronts.
Bill Nelson, um one of I hate to say this our senators, uh yours and mine has actually filed suit against a DNC.
Exactly.
Over this because they what's happened is the Florida, if for those of you don't know Florida, uh Democrat Party has announced they're gonna move up their primary to January 29th, which is earlier than the Democratic National Committee wants it to be.
And Florida says, look, we're a key state.
We want to we want to have a say in this.
So what the Democratic National Committee said, if you don't if you don't move that date back to something later than January 29th, we're not gonna give you any delegate votes at the convention.
Now, on the surface, Gary, this appears to be a huge internal squabble.
But here's the dirty little secret.
Have you checked presidential preference polls in this state in the last couple weeks?
No, I haven't.
Well, I mean, I I have because it is my yob men.
And guess who has like a 30 to 33 point lead over all of her challengers in this state?
I would guess Mrs. Bill Clinton.
Mrs. Bill Clinton is correct.
Now, what the this this the DNC has said since Florida's moved its primary up, you can't campaign there.
We are not going to allow our candidates to campaign there.
Well, guess what?
Mrs. Clinton doesn't need to campaign here.
She's got a 33-point lead.
The people need to campaign here are Barack Obama and a Breck girl.
Uh and whoever else in that bunch thinks they have a chance, but they can't.
And this is uh also a factor.
Mrs. Clinton doesn't have to come in and spend any money in Florida.
If the other people, if her opponents can't come in here and campaign, what has she got to worry about?
This is a name recognition uh situation for her down here in Florida.
And so she's got state wrapped up.
So on the surface, it appears that Florida Democrats are in a battle with the DNC.
In reality, it's Mrs. Clinton putting Florida in her back pocket without a campaign here.
Well, I yeah, I appreciate your insight on that, Russian.
Thank you very much for taking my call.
All right, Gary, my pleasure.
Uh where do we go next?
El Snerdbow on the uh on the phones.
Let's go to uh Kathy in Thousand Oaks, California.
You're next on the EIB network.
Hello.
Oh my gosh, my hero.
Hi.
Oh, I'm so um I'm so it's privileged to talk to you.
Thank you.
I'm so nervous.
Well now you do sound nervous, and this is a good idea.
We need we need to do something about you know are you you have are you married?
You have a boyfriend?
Oh, I'm I've been married for almost thirty years.
Oh, do you still love your husband?
Yes, I do.
Well, that's unique and great.
So here's what I want you to I want you to pretend that that that instead of talking to me on the phone, that your husband is rubbing your back with a mink glove.
That's how much you're gonna enjoy this, and you're going to want to do it over and over and over again once you finish the first time.
Okay.
All right.
All right.
Um, the point I wanted to make um that Harry Reed uh is taking the Democrat Party.
Uh he's running it like a theocracy.
And he's actually issuing a fatwa on the um Congress floor against you.
Yeah.
And I just think it's disgusting.
Well, I had to look at it.
It's clear.
It's clear, is it not, uh, Kathy, that I have become their number one of they're running against me.
Yes, they are.
That's how scared they are.
I'm not even on the ballot.
And see, you know, but it's interesting.
Uh even though I'm not on the ballot, why do they run against me?
Because this program and you in the audience, we exist in the arena of ideas.
We think, yeah.
They don't.
They don't want to play in the arena of ideas.
They want to shut up opposition.
Well, there was another point I wanted to make.
Um I wish you would join the presidential race, not to not to run for president, but just to debate.
Because you're you're a great debater, and people who have been told and they don't know who you are, they would be able to actually see and hear you.
I know, and the problem is I would win the nomination.
I know.
Without having without having to spend a dime, and then I would have to then I'd have to run, and then I'd lose the show, and I'd probably be elected president and have to take a pay cut.
Yeah.
And this is none of that, uh none of that do I want.
Oh, but you're great.
Oh my gosh.
I I love you.
Um you've been my teacher, and and I'm so shy.
I can't believe I even called in.
It took me over an hour to get through.
I just had to make the point.
And you did great.
Oh thank.
You did great.
Thanks, Kathy, so much for the uh for the phone call.
She was in Thousand Oaks uh, California.
A fatwa.
Harry Reid.
Here's the thing about Harry Reid's fat was.
He bombed the mainstream he wanted this to be another condemnation of me in both houses, just like Petraeus's ad was didn't happen.
The Democrats have yet to offer their resolution in the uh in the House.
Uh you only got 41 Senators, not even all the Democrats to sign his letter to the Clear Channel CEO.
This is another Harry Reid failure.
If if I'm yeah, now I might not get censured as Ken Salazar wants.
I mean, they better be examining the job Harry Reid is not accomplishing.
Somebody needs to tell a Democrats.
You know, they just discovered Bush is not on a ballot.
What they need to learn is that I'm not on the ballot.
No, don't tell them that.
Don't t I want them to continue to run against us, folks.
