Time Text
Amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first and second hand cigars smoke, Rush Limbaugh, watching the U.S. Open on TV, researching show prep, and hosting the most listened to radio talk show in America at the same time.
Great to have you with us, by the way, Colin Montgomery is the leader at 1 Under.
Uh in the clubhouse.
Well, he's not a clubhouse.
He's uh just teed off on number 18.
Telephone number if you want to be on the program, 800-282-2882, and the email address is Rush at EIBNet.com.
I got a lot more audio sound by some Democrats on the war in Iraq, but I I kind of want to split it up and move on to some other things and then get back to that.
But before I do any of that, and we got our timber update coming up with Darrell Hannah, who is uh out of the tree uh protesting for the new arrivals, or the newly arrived uh that that that garden plot, uh some guy's private property took over.
At any rate.
Uh while watching the U.S. Open uh during the newsbreak, uh feverishly researching uh uh the past regarding news accounts of previous Al-Qaeda letters and documents that have been intercepted.
And as we pointed out, uh, ladies and gentlemen, uh there is there is a there's a skepticism that's starting to ever vest now in the drive-by media about the authenticity of the documents.
I'll AP, suggesting this doesn't sound like the Zerkawi we've seen on tape, on video tape.
This just uh doesn't, it doesn't, doesn't uh it's not the way he speaks, and a couple of other uh objections.
As I pointed out in the last, we had a caller who actually made the point.
Uh many of the documents seized in Zarkawi's hideout have been used to stage these massively overwhelmingly successful raids, which is an argument for the authenticity of the documents.
As we pointed out, here's another thing.
Uh even after bloggers successfully exposed without doubt the forged documents, CBS Mary Mapes, Dan Rather used, and the Bush National Guard story.
There was scant skepticism in the mainstream media or from the American left about those forged documents.
And we know why.
That was because they had an investment in seeing the rather documents accepted as true.
And so I think the converse maybe I'm telling you with this document that's putting it out there today, um, there is panic because this goes against everything the drive-by media has been telling us about Iraq.
It goes against everything that the mainstream Democrats and the wackos and the kook left the Democrats have been telling us about Iraq.
They've already got us losing it.
It's an abject failure.
It's so bad we need to get out of there.
Twenty, five hundred deaths for nothing.
We've destroyed our reputation in the world.
The document from Zarkawi indicates they are a hundred and eighty degrees out of phase.
Couldn't be more wrong if they were trying to be.
And so I guarantee you there's panic.
How do we handle this?
Mr. Snodley thinks that they'll try to get by with just ignoring this document, particularly the Democrats, for as long as possible, and let their willing accomplices in the drive-by media carry the load on this by attempting to raise doubts about the authenticity.
Well, time for a little context on this.
I thought it might be useful to recall that we have intercepted several communications from al-Qaeda over the years, reminded you of this in the previous hour, and they've all said the same thing.
Al-Qaeda in Iraq is suffering terrible blows.
So I went out and I found a February 9, 2004 New York Times story, headline of this story, the struggle for Iraq intelligence.
U.S. says files seek Qaeda aid in Iraq conflict.
It's by Dexter Filkins and Douglas Jell.
American officials here from Baghdad have obtained a detailed proposal that they conclude was written by an operative in Iraq to senior leaders of al-Qaeda asking for help to wage a sectarian war in Iraq in the next months.
The Americans say they believe that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian who has long been under scrutiny by the U.S., wrote the undated 17-page document.
Mr. Zarqawi is believed to be operating here in Iraq.
This is February 9, 2004.
was made available to the New York Times on Sunday with an accompanying translation made by the military.
A reporter was allowed to see the Arabic and English versions and to write down large parts of the translation.
The memo says that extremists are failing to enlist support inside the country, and that they have been unable to scare the Americans into leaving.
It even laments Iraq's lack of mountains in which to take refuge.
The American officials in Baghdad said they were confident that the account was credible and said they had independently corroborated Mr. Zerkawi's authorship.
If it is authentic, it offers an inside account of the insurgency and its frustrations and bears out a number of American assumptions about the strength and the nature of religious extremists, but it also charts out a battle to come.
Another excerpt from the Times article.
This is quoting the writer of the memo, the Zarkawi.
The problem is you end up having an army and police connected by lineage, blood, and appearance.
When the Americans withdraw, and they have already started doing that, they get replaced by these agents who are intimately linked to the people of this region.
With some exasperation, the author writes, we can pack up and leave.
We can look for another land, just like what has happened in so many lands of jihad.
Our enemy is growing stronger day after day, and its intelligence information increases.
By God, this is suffocation, the writer said.
And indeed, the writer is said to be Zarkawi.
This is the New York Times 2004 in February.
And as I say, we've we've intercepted tons of documents of these people.
Well, tons, lots of letters from Zarkawi and others to bin Laden and other so-called Al-Qaeda leaders around the world, and they've all been whining and moaning and complaining about their losses.
And despite these documents which have been verified in the presence of drive-by media members, the reporting has been just the opposite.
Because the investment is in defeat.
The investment is in defeat of the U.S. military because that's what it would take to defeat the Bush administration.
That's what it would take to defeat the Republicans.
So already we have all AP and others will follow, trying to generate skeptics and skepticism about the authenticity of the document found in the raid, even though other documents have led to successful raids and the capture of over 700 insurgents and terrorists and the death of over 100 of them in over 400 sweeps.
So the evidence and the context and the history of these kind of documents is that they are authentic, and yet all AP trying to generate skepticism, other drive-by media affiliates will follow so as to spare elected Democrats the pressure of having to make the claim publicly.
But nevertheless, the evidence points to authenticity here.
And when you f when you compare this to Dan Rather and Mary Mapes, which I think is an apt comparison.
In fact, I think it's a brilliant comparison.
You find that the genuine proof that those documents were forged was met with resistance, a lack of agreement, Attempts to destroy the reputations of the bloggers who had done the research to prove that the documents were forgeries, calling them the pajama clad media or whatever.
So they definitely have agendas.
They definitely have things they wish will happen.
Their hope is this is a fake document.
Their hope was that Bill Burkett's documents were real.
But this is devastating to them.
Both the drive-by media and the Democrats in Washington and their behind closed doors is sheer panic right now over what to do about this.
Because it just kills them folks.
It renders everything they have claimed and said and has formed the basis of Democrat Party policy wrong, irrelevant and dangerously so.
Quick timeout.
Back with our timber update in Darrell Hannah in a moment.
Okay, have some audio sound, but you got to hear this campaign commercial.
There's a man running for office as a Republican, running for Congress in Winston, Salem, North Carolina.
His name is Vernon Robinson.
The uh the audio is what we have here, obviously.
The video to his commercial is uh and and we'll give you the link of that at Rush Limbaugh.com, it's on this website.
Uh I don't even want to characterize this, just listen to this commercial.
If you're a conservative Republican, watching the news these days can make you feel as though you are in the twilight zone.
Americans are under attack from Islamic extremists in every corner of the world.
Homosexuals are mocking holy matrimony, and the lesbians and feminists are attacking everything sacred.
Liberal judges have completely rewritten the Constitution.
You can burn the American flag and kill a million babies a year, but you can't post the Ten Commandments or say God in the nation.
Seven out of every ten black children are born out of wedlock, and Jackson and Sharpton claim the answer is racial quotas.
And the aliens are here, but they didn't come in a spaceship.
They came across our unguarded Mexican border by the millions.
I'm Vernon Robinson.
If you send me to Congress, I'll send that back to the Twilight Zone.
I approve of this message and of traditional American values.
Because I would leave it to beaver music.
Now I should point out Vernon Robinson is black, and when he when he mentions Sharpton and uh Jackson, have you seen the spot?
When you when you when you when he gets to Jackson, he got he found a mugshot of Jesse Jackson, and that's what he runs, and he found a picture of Sharpton with an afro from from here and years.
This guy uh this is a national campaign.
I mean, he's talking about national issues.
They all they all have uh uh uh impact locally, but I thought it was the Democrats that were gonna nationalize the election this year.
The Democrats are gonna do that.
That is Vernon Robinson, who is running for Congress uh in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
I know he's getting grief like you can't believe.
It's uh uh it's this is one of the best political ads in a long, long time.
Uh and f can I when you heard that, folks, when you heard that, weren't you yeah, okay, yeah, yeah.
Why don't more Republicans talk like this?
Why don't more of them say this is one of the problems that we face?
Um and here's Vernon Robinson in Winston-Salem, North Carolina saying, I'm a pioneer and I will take the arrows.
Time da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
Gonna go way, way back to the archives, folks.
We haven't done a timber update since the Spotted Owl days, but here we go.
Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow And the sound the sound of another tree biting the dust, and once again something beautiful results a piano, a home, uh a baseball bat, uh, you name it.
Uh, takes us back.
That was uh a featured element during the spotted owl debate, um, during all the timber questions with Earth First and Way Back.
But Daryl Hannah has given us a reason to reprise it.
As you know, she was sitting in a tree for the past two or three days out in California protesting the fact that the owner of the property wanted it back from about 350 newly arrived, or new arrivals, illegal immigrants, who were plotting little gardens there, just gardeners and so forth.
And the guy says, Fine.
If if you want to keep it, I'll sell it to you for sixteen million dollars.
They'd already had it.
He'd had it taken away from him once by the city of L.A. And they gave him an imminent domain.
They gave him 4.8 million dollars for it, and they they wanted to put a trash incinerator on it, but the local neighborhood, African Americans, hell with that.
You're not gonna put a trash incinerator in our neighborhood.
So they gave it over to the regional food bank, and the food bank said, Well, I'm gonna give it to the newly arrivals, new arrivals, illegal immigrants, and they can start growing uh corn, peas, whatever they want, little plots of land that they turn they call gardens.
And then the uh guy eventually got his property back, uh, but the newly arrivals, uh, new arrivals refused to leave.
And so the cops sent in to kick them out, excavate them, uh, get them out of there, and Daryl Hannah and a number Of Hollywood leftists who could have easily afforded to hire these people to work on their own uh plantations, estates, uh, or could have done fundraising to come up with the 16 mil to buy the guy's property, said no, we're just gonna you know, we're gonna protest, we're gonna support these people, we're gonna encourage these new arrivals to break law.
Daryl Hanned protested by climbing a tree.
They took the chainsaws up, they got her out of the tree after after they got through.
She she appeared on Larry King Alive last night, and King asked, uh tell you what, these are some of the hardest-hitting questions and most insightful answers that I can recall hearing uh in in a long time.
The first question from uh Larry King, what was the tree like?
Uh the tree was a beautiful walnut tree.
Um it really wasn't what did you do about like the bathroom?
Well, uh the like I said, it was a community watchtower, so there were several of us that uh took turns uh spending time in the tree, and there were um outhouses or uh sort of those anti-gump structures uh out on the property to be able to go to the bathroom.
So so uh she actually didn't stay in the tree, she was replaced.
You know, this is how they do this Hollywood award shows when a big star in a front row has to go to the bathroom, they replace the big star to front row with a with an unrecognizable face, and they don't show you the face in the front, but the seat never appears empty to make it appear like stars never go to the bathroom.
Larry King has uncovered the truth.
Stars go to the bathroom even when they're hanging around at the top of trees.
You know, I I know how this works.
They had these outhouses, she go down, somebody else would go up, she used the outhouse and go back to the tree and the replacement would go down.
I remember back in the uh it's embarrassing to me.
I want to tell you a little story.
Kansas City.
Uh still working in uh in music radio, not doing talk shows, hadn't started doing talk shows yet, working at a at a at an oldie stone, I think it was a disco state.
I don't even remember what the format was.
And we had this brilliant sales manager.
This guy was just uh uh this guy's brain was so hot his head was smoking all day.
Came up with this brilliant promotion idea to sell some advertising at Coca-Cola.
Called a Castle of Coke.
And what it involved, it involved me going to some local grocery store and being buried inside cases and cases and cases, six packs, twelve packs of Coca-Cola.
And I could only get out, and I'm broadcasting live from in there.
I could only get out if people came in and bought all the coke.
And I said, wait a second, what if I have to go to the bathroom?
Well, there'll be a pathway out of there.
Oh, okay.
If I have to go to the bathroom, that is a way to get out of there.
Yeah, don't worry about that.
Well, I didn't want to do this in the first place.
This is this is but this is part of paying the dues, folks.
I mean, this is what was considered a brilliant idea.
It's not enough to go out and sell advertising, though, put some human being and make an utter fool of him inside a castle of the stuff, and it make people and it was a low-rent grocery store to boot.
It wasn't, it was it was just so once I found out there was a pathway, I'd sneak out and get some food.
I was outside the castle more than I was inside it.
And uh so the castle didn't get purchased as much as it should have.
And I got reamed next the next day for blowing the promotion because I didn't stay inside the castle long enough.
And I said, Well just don't ask me to do it again.
This is absurd.
Um, people think that's what goes on in small markets.
That was that was that was Kansas City.
Uh here's another question from uh do we have time?
Yes.
Here it and I do not have a body.
No, here's Larry King says, putting it simply, why can't a man who owns his property uh uh much as we may not like what he does, do what he wants with it.
This argument is that um this farm is a model for community centers, uh for greening.
It could uh the the Annenberg Foundation wanted it to be the crown jewel in their plan uh for the greening of LA.
And um it's a model for uh urban agriculture, sustainable food production, all kinds of things.
And this sale to Mr. Horowitz to uh a private person is still under contention.
Like I said, it's not settled that it was a legal sale to him.
And so um we feel that both on a sort of uh uh an elevated level, it could it stands for so many things um that are positive that come from that land when there are you know vacant warehouses all over that area.
Uh do we need another warehouse is is a Is a question that we should all consider.
None of your business.
You don't own the property.
Socialist babe, Daryl Henn.
It's none of your business.
You don't own the property.
And if you want to buy it, and then let the people stay.
We'll take a quick time out and be back after the one more from her, by the way.
Yes, sir, Rebub.
Having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.
And permitting you to be part of it.
800 282-2882.
One more Larry King Darrell Hannah sound bite.
King asks another burning question.
He said this.
By the way, did any bugs bite you?
No, actually it was it was uh it was like being in an enchanted garden.
It was like amazing oasis, garden of Eden.
Have you seen pictures of this dump?
Garden of Eden.
Who was Adam, Darrell?
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow.
Our timber update from the Groveyard of Forgotten Favorites.
We keep everything on the EIB network.
Try this headline, Democrats in Disarray as Bush basks in glow of a rock trip.
This is a uh French news agency story.
Uh President Bush's triumphant return from his unannounced visit in Iraq found opposition Democrats more divided than ever on U.S. policy and how best to capitalize on administration missteps there.
As we've just learned, folks, from the Zarkawi memo, there have been very few missteps.
Uh if you miss the first hour of the program, sweat it not.
Uh all of this will be documented and uh replayed on the uh website, Rush Limbaugh.com when we update it later this afternoon to reflect the contents of today's program.
Logansport, Indiana.
Hello, Dave, if you're next on the program, it's great to have you with us.
Hey Rush, it's great to talk to you.
I was just telling your call screener that uh I was coming home from uh lunch and uh turned on WSAL, our local radio station that carries you.
And you had that uh clip from Pelosi.
And uh that is a classic.
That's a whole because I play played three and I got I got one.
It was the one where she was trying to describe uh Hillary Clinton's position.
And uh the short one.
Yes, no, uh maybe, I really don't know.
Uh that one along with the I was wondering if you could maybe make a montage of putting that one with uh uh uh Ted Kennedy's uh kind of ranting and raving and John Kerry when he was looking for a uh hunting license, because uh whenever I I watch these uh elected officials on TV or uh uh the different talk shows,
I always try to use the uh more perfect union test in the preamble of the Constitution uh and see when they start saying anything, are they really trying to form a more perfect union or establish justice or ensure domestic tranquility?
And usually the answer is no, they're not.
You know, I think that's the way that's the same.
They're trying to reacquire power for power's sake, is all right.
Exactly.
Exactly.
But that that one today, for whatever reason, when I was coming back, uh I had not heard that.
Uh and I just thought that that was a great one and uh hoped that maybe some of your sound people someday could put a montage together, kind of a uh greatest hits, if you will, of uh of uh things.
Uh and that one should be included along with Kennedy's and uh Carrie's Can I Get Me a Hunting License.
Well, we'll see if we can make Christmas come true for you in June here.
Uh I appreciate it, Russia.
Thank you so much.
All right, thank you for the call, Dave.
Let's get you grab grab audio soundbite number one, the people didn't hear it, uh can can uh understand what it is that uh the Dave was talking about.
This is a Wolf Blitzer yesterday, uh Nancy Pelosi, and she basically wants to know uh uh what Hillary Clinton's position is.
Her question is Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, doesn't agree with you and Mertha over redeployment.
Uh you're saying a Democrats and you are more in line with Mertha than with Senator Clinton.
Well, uh uh exactly.
Yeah, no, I don't think there in uh in the house there isn't very much support.
I don't exactly know what Senator Clinton's position is.
Translation, if you didn't get it all.
Yes, exactly.
Uh no, I I I don't think that in the house there there isn't very much support.
I I I don't exactly know what Senator Clinton's uh uh position is.
Well one more time on this, uh Mike, so people can digest.
Because you do start laughing at this thing and and uh you may miss some of it.
Well, exactly.
Yeah, no, I don't think there in the in the House there isn't very much support.
I don't exactly know what Senator Clinton's position is.
And of course, the bite he's referring to with John Kerry is uh can I get me a hunting license?
You got that you got that one standing by?
Here's here's John Kerry asking for a hunting license.
Where was this?
Indiana or Iowa?
Forget where this was.
It was someplace in the presidential campaign, and he was uh you know trying to go out and relate to you, you unsophisticated hayseeds uh in the uh in the race red states.
Can I get me uh hunting license here?
Can I get me a hunting license?
Here's here's Ted Kennedy.
Poor guys out there asking, are they actually standing for a more perfect union?
I just love that.
Play, do me this favor.
Play play Pelosi and then back it up uh with Kennedy.
Back to back.
Uh exactly.
Yeah, no, I don't think there in the in the House there isn't very much support.
I don't exactly know what Senator Clinton's position is.
Can I get me a honey license here?
Oh, where would we be without these stellar communicators and leaders of the Democratic Party?
By the way, I I mentioned earlier I have here, I'm holding in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers.
Uh the new direction for America platform.
Uh, it's published today in the uh Boston Globe.
And uh as you heard, Miss Pelosi uh, in fact, uh while we're at it, let's uh Miss Pelosi again.
I think this is cut uh cut three.
Uh grab cut three, because they've been itching.
They've been dying, they say, to release the uh new direction for America platform to announce it.
But damn it, they had to put it off again.
They had to put it off again, and this is why.
In the interest of winning the election and in the party unity that we have, Mr. Mertha said to me that I will suspend my campaign.
But the reason is also we are about to have our new uh our democratic new direction for America.
You mentioned it said it was postponed.
Out of respect for the president and our troops, when he called the meeting at the White House, we said we'll put that off.
Out of respect for the president, this is politics.
You're trying to beat the president.
Out of respect for the when did this start?
Out of respect for the president and the troops, you don't have any respect for the president of the troops, Ms. Pelosi, and everybody who pays attention in this country knows it.
Even people on your side.
And all of a sudden now say, well, you can't put this stuff out because of the respect of the You can't put it out because events have gone unlike you thought, and the president has done a momentum shift.
And the White House is firing on all cylinders.
And the past seven days may have been the best seven days of the Bush administration, not just the second term.
So you know there's a lot of positive noise out there that you can't possibly cut through.
But Ms. Pelosi, it is said that this program needs balance from time to time, and I've always reacted by saying, no, it doesn't.
No need to balance this program.
This program is equal time.
Balance this program against all of that that's out there from the New York Times to Washington Post, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, LA Times, Chicago Trib, whatever.
This program needs to be balanced.
But in the interests, nevertheless.
And since Bernie Sanders is upset about all the right wing on talk radio that the left just can't get a foothold.
Let me help.
I will announce your agenda for you.
I have it here.
It's been published in the Boston Globe, but outside of Boston, who will know and who will read it?
I have the largest radio audience in America, and as such, I can help.
So my friends here, and I will as an added benefit, I will even add commentary.
Uh as I announce the new direction for America platform that the Democrats had to put off again.
Damn it.
Out of respect for the President and the troops.
Number one, negotiate lower prescription drug prices with pharmaceutical companies for Medicare's drug program.
in other words, we're gonna hammer business and we're gonna make big drug pay for going along with Bush in this new entitlement.
Negotiate lower prescription drug prices.
The Democrats are gonna go in there and threaten these people with all kinds of punishment, fines, regulations, and so forth, unless they do what the Democrats want.
Fund stem cell research and increase access to health care.
Oh, that's really new.
When has that not been part of the Democrats' new direction for America?
And by the way, the translation of that, we're gonna spend some money.
Increase science research, ensure the teaching of evolution, increase funding for community colleges.
Spend, spend, spend.
Cut student loan interest rates by half.
Ensure access to family planning methods and abortion.
Fund infant and child care and make sure there is abortion.
Increase the minimum wage from 515 to 725 an hour, increase employment benefits.
I'll gonna hammer business again.
Going to go tell business how to run the business.
Enact funding recommendations of the 9-11 Commission, i.e.
make Richard Clark our hero, meaning spend, spend, spend.
Institute lobbying reform.
Implement balanced budgets and pay down the national debt while doing all this other spending, which means raise your taxes.
Get this next one.
ENT tax changes to benefit entrepreneurs.
There is one tax change that benefits entrepreneurs, and that's cuts.
And you don't hear the word come out of a mouth of a Democrat, nor do you see it on their official New Direction for America platform document.
What is this?
Enact tax changes to benefit entrepreneurs.
The next one, focus national security strategy to nation's borders.
Increase port security.
What does this mean?
Focusing national security strategy.
I thought they've been talking to communications experts out there.
This is gibberish.
This is gobbledygook.
On purpose, by the way.
They're not specifying anything.
They're just as they're they're they're trying to come up with uh things that make you think they have big and grand ideas.
Fund more public transportation, promote environmental restoration.
Spend, spend, spend, repeal subsidies for oil and gas companies to encourage renewable fuels.
That's it.
There's nothing here about the war on terror.
There's really nothing here about immigration.
There's nothing here on a whole host of issues that really matter.
They're living in the past.
They're trying to relive their glory days, coupled with arrogance and condescending.
You know, you know what the Democrats are like?
I get all these flowery language and I try to get all detailed and in-depth, explaining them psychologically, but it's real simple, and those of you who are parents will understand this, they are just spoil rotten children.
It's just no more that spoil rotten children.
They have had power for so long, and they've had it taken away from them, and they're demanding it back.
Uh it it's um it's just that when summer vacation is over, and you tell a little crumb cruncher, go back to school.
Most crumb crunchers don't want to go back to school.
Abnormal ones want to go to school.
Any kid that likes school, I'm telling you, is abnormal.
Most kids, the last thing they want to see is a schoolhouse door, especially in August or September whenever school's doing.
You gotta make them do it.
Well, the Democrats, nobody's made them do what they need to do.
They're just demanding all this power, but demanding because it's theirs.
They're just nothing more than a bunch of spoiled, rotten children in the bodies of adults coupled with arrogant condescension.
Hi, welcome back.
It's great to have you with us.
This is the EIB network.
Rush Limbaugh documented to be almost always right.
98.5% of the time, a little aside here for those of you who uh are watching the U.S. Open at Wingfoot are going to be watching it later this afternoon, Tvoing it, taping it or what have you.
Uh say this happens uh on a lot of golf courses.
The television just cannot show you the true topography.
Uh uh, I just watched a bunch of guys tee off on number 10.
I, my friends am a member at Wingedfoot.
And the picture that I saw from behind the tea box uh on on number 10 does not I mean it's it's a beautiful hole, but it does not show the absolute, utter elevation of that green.
And if you miss the green off it either, it is devastating.
Uh, and a number of other holes in the slopes of the greens uh are just really not accurate, just like Augusta, uh 18 at Augusta is practically straight up the hill, but it just doesn't show that way on uh on television because it's uh they just don't have enough dimensions, obviously in a TV camera.
Just wanted to pass that on.
Mike in Detroit, you're next, and welcome to the EIB network.
Hello, sir.
Hello, Rush.
Look forward to you every day.
Thank you.
Uh my one comment on uh a lot of these uh liberal war horses where they they have impressed me since the 94 takeover by the Republicans, uh the Kennedys, the Pelosi's, the Wrangles, the Reed, the Dashell who was retired, and John Conyer.
I give them credit for not retiring.
I thought by this point in my life that I would have seen far more of them out of government trying to do something in a private sector.
Maybe they don't feel they're they're you know adept to be able to move to the private sector, so that's why they stay, but I am giving them some staying power to still want to put up the good fight with you.
Are you a Democrat?
I'm a Reagan Democrat who is now a conservative independent.
Okay, you got an identity crisis going.
Um Ronald Reagan, you know, he brought me over, and I'm now a conservative, but I'm just gonna republican.
So I I hear all this.
You you sound you frankly, you sound like a woman.
No, I mean attitudely.
Well, yeah, these guys, these guys are our political enemies.
But yet you are compelled to find a reason to credit them so you can at least say something nice about I understand the desire to do that.
But if I were to find a reason to agree with you, uh, it wouldn't be, my golly, look at these people really care.
They're hung hanging in there for the good fight.
Most of them are not qualified to do anything else but do a government job.
