Welcome to today's edition of The Rush 24-7 podcast.
I don't know yet, Mr. Sturdley.
Um.
All these people here rely on me for hurricane forecast information now.
And that that stupid goes floater uh satellite has it updated since um it's been two hours.
The last last satellite uh snap was at 1015.
So I haven't had a chance to see if it's still on their track.
But it's way, way early out there.
The thing to rely on here, Mr. Snerdley, is when they have us as a direct hit four days out.
You know the track's gonna change in four days.
So yeah, we got another one heading our way, folks.
The EIB Southern Command in the crosshairs of yet another uh hurricane.
Great to be with you.
Here we are, Rush Limbaugh, the Excellence in Broadcasting Network and the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.
So this was good today.
Max Mayfield, who is the director of the Hurricane Center, actually had a press conference rather than you know doing a thousand little 90-second interviews on network after network after network after station.
And I'll watch a little bit of it because of course this hurricane's gonna affect us one way or the other.
It is gonna hit somewhere in Florida.
And uh uh he was he got the the thing is gonna cross uh Southwest Florida perhaps and impact the Everglades and uh the way it won't weaken much because the Everglades is a lot of water.
And and it'll weaken some, but but not a lot.
But start asking him questions about uh animals.
Oh, what effect will hurricane have on the animals?
Brian came in.
Do you see the hurricane guy on TV?
The hurricane guy.
But Max Mayfield say animals.
Well, our worry here is the effect on people.
Anyway, here's the phone number if you uh would like to be on the program.
800-282-2882, and the email address is Rush at EIBNet.com.
We had a great time last night at the uh at the Lion King Theater, the new Amsterdam Theater uh down in Broadway, Rush on Broadway is our first such appearance uh in New York.
And I tell you, I fed off the audience last night.
Audience was just fabulous last night.
I did over two hours of uh of stand-up.
Now a lot of people yesterday were saying, hey Rush, are you gonna make a video of this available and sell the proceeds or uh give the proceeds to charity?
And I said, only if it's any good.
And a lot of people, a lot of people said, Well, how can it not be any good?
I mean, it uh how can I explain folks?
Nothing's automatic.
I mean, I don't just assume that all I gotta do is walk out there and start flapping my gums and and it's gonna be good.
I mean, I know what expectations, I know what my expectations are, I know what the audience's expectations are.
And frankly, I've been doing this for 18 years, and some of them are better than others, and there's been some of them over the course of the years that said, damn it, I could have done better than that, and I've worried about it for two days and tried to get it right the next time.
And I don't prep these things.
I I've tried that over the course of my I've tried writing them, I've tried scripting them, I've tried, I've tried outlining them.
It's just too confining.
So it just is is a matter of whether my fertile brain is fertile.
You know, and it's just it it really it's a luck of the draw.
I can't predict how I'm gonna be on a given day, and none of us can.
Uh yes, professionalism uh is like cream, rises to the top and so forth, and it it uh they're generally good, and then this one turned out to be fabulous, and so we're gonna uh we are gonna make it available on DVD.
I gave the go signal last night when I was uh on my way out of the theater.
Uh uh's a long day, had had the handity, but I didn't mind.
That was a long day.
It was uh it's much better being busy uh leading up to it rather than sitting back there for an hour or two worrying about it and wondering about okay, what I lead with, what if I'm gonna start with?
Didn't have time to think about any of that.
And the Hannity interview was a good warm-up for it.
Uh that was uh we got we got audio sound bites of the Hannity interview on the Fox News channel last night.
That was good.
Uh enjoyed that.
Uh got to see the commie babe makeup artist from the old television show today, Deborah was that.
She hasn't changed, she's just beautiful and gorgeous, she always was.
Uh and uh and she's just same commie babe.
I said, Are you still commie babe?
She said, Yes.
I said, What is it now?
Duah.
And this this being the bite home.
That gave me an idea for something to talk about.
So, you know, I was just I was just feeding off practically everything in hell.
Audience was just fabulous last night.
And I tell you, I walked out, I got there early.
I'd do a sound check and I walked through the theater and I wanted to see what the stage looked like from the from the seats.
And those Broadway theaters, those seats are sardine small.
And I got to say you people that were there and sat in those seats uh for for what two and a half hours because there was about 20 minutes in front of me.
Uh two and a half hours, you are troopers.
So I mean that that that was uh uh I mean that they're small seats for small people.
Uh small seats get cramped, people get crammed in there.
But it was just uh wonderfully uh no, there was no press there.
Uh there wasn't any press there.
There was no no protesters showed up.
Uh they they knew they could be in hostile territory.
They showed up.
Would you show up with two thousand ditto heads in one place, try to protest it?
It didn't happen.
They weren't outside, they weren't inside.
Uh nothing like that occurred.
The press didn't show up either.
So uh it remains, you know, the best kept secret in the city last night what happened.
But doesn't matter that don't do these things for the press.
We don't do these things for the critics.
And uh I did I gave I gave the goal order on the way out the door, I said to Craig and Brian, I said, okay, let's go ahead and do the DVD.
Now I I may be speaking out of turn.
I mean, we videotaped it and we've got it ready to go, but I haven't gotten the official word we're gonna do it.
I gave the official word since I'm the head honcho, it ought to be enough.
But experience tells me that uh it can always be little surprised.
I rush we forgot the video tape.
It looked good in the monitors, but we forgot the video tape, or some piece of equipment uh didn't work.
So until I get the official word uh uh don't count on it yet, but it's it's it's as as close as it can be.
Uh Dawn even liked the Hannity interview.
Dawn said, You know what?
Your makeup looked great.
With that lighting, your makeup looked good.
And see, that is the trick to doing well on TV, getting good makeup and looking good.
Uh in the uh in the lighting.
No, I don't no, she hasn't yet commented on what I said.
Snerdley was telling me how good the interview was.
He thought what I said, and Dawn said, Yeah, and the lighting was really good and your makeup looked good.
So, you know, you always you always get the the um the truth uh from from uh well, people who know how to look at TV and what's important on TV, and that's how the makeup is under the lights.
But I did get this email, and I got a lot of email from people who were there last night, and I was it's uh I'd love to share it all with you, but but you'd think I lost my head and it's gotten too big to fit in the studio here, so I'm not gonna share but uh uh you people have sent these nice emails know who you are, and I appreciate it.
But I got this email and I wanted I wanted to share this one with you.
Rush.
I know of no way to distinguish this email from the countless others that you must receive daily so that it stands out and receives a full read.
But I hope you see it.
I just saw your your two hour show at the Lion King Theater.
It was exactly what I took my son, my wife, and myself to see.
But I'm writing this to tell you about a very brave lady that I saw there.
She was seated two rows ahead and a little to the left of me, and by the seating chart, it looks like she was in the mezzanine road double D seat one fourteen.
She was pretty, she looked to be about mid to late twenties, and it showed that she really wanted to look good for the show.
She was alone.
Soon after the show started, it became obvious to my wife and myself that she had Tourette syndrome.
You may have heard someone from the mezzanine applauding at inappropriate times.
That was her.
I didn't.
Uh I even gave an in-depth explanation of how the cochlear implant works last night, even took it off to uh show people explained to.
But I I was not aware of any inappropriate there's no inappropriate applause when I'm on stage.
So uh I I hear applause.
I think it's quite natural, it didn't seem inappropriate to me.
But let me continue.
A lot of people around her did not know what was going on, didn't know that she uh had Tourette's, and as the night went on, they became increasingly annoyed at her ticks.
The annoyance went from shh to angry requests to be quiet to some even chuckling to themselves at her.
I knew of no way to let all the people around her know what was going on without causing more of a scene.
I noticed she was sitting trying to control her ticks, holding her tan her hands tightly together.
And sometimes it worked and sometimes not.
And toward the end of the show, the couple next to her got up to leave, and one of them uh gave her the finger uh like well, not gave her the finger, but a finger gesture shooting her as she let the you know fake gun, because she was apparently being distracting to these people.
They didn't know what was causing it.
When she got up, someone uh behind her who thought she was leaving started clapping, both to say good riddance and to mock her, but she sat and stayed to the end of your show.
I know that the people around her were frustrated and they didn't understand her s her situation, but I'm sure that these could not have been very reaffirming moments for her.
I was hoping to catch up with her afterward to ask her how she enjoyed the show and just make some small talk to possibly counterbalance some of the other reactions that she received, but I couldn't find her uh after the applause died down.
And on the way home, I thought about her a lot.
Here was a lady who truly believes the conservative ideals we all preach.
Here she was with a handicap that would debilitate and dishearten most people.
And she said, world be damned, I'm gonna go out tonight.
I only hope that uh when the time comes to have my body fail on me that I'll be able to show such courage and grace as she did.
When you came out and someone from the floor threw flowers on the stage, you might have heard some Yahoo from the mezzanine shout, thank you, Rush.
That was me.
When you answered the Connecticut question, you might have heard another Yahoo from the mezzanine shout, come back to Connecticut.
That was my wife.
Neither one of us was the biggest fan you had there that night, and we're huge.
I don't know if it would be appropriate or even ethical to find out who who this woman was, but if it were possible to give her some affirmation, I would say she earned it.
By the way, I was planning on joining 247 at Christmas, but I joined today just so I could send you this.
Just another Yahoo in the mezzanine.
Uh Rick Poach sent me this.
I guess Rick and his wife live in Connecticut.
So I uh I I I don't know who the woman is.
This is the best I can do to acknowledge her uh and to thank her.
And uh also thank Rick and his wife for understanding what uh her problem was.
Uh so uh if if whoever this woman is, if you're in the audience, understand that uh some people there understood what was going on and had a great deal of respect and appreciation for you fact that you were even there.
All right, a lot to do on the program today.
Sit tight.
We'll be back and get started with all the rest of it right after this.
By the way, there's video of the uh interview with Sean Hannity.
Uh, we're posting on our website.
It's also we link to it at the moment.
We link to it at the Fox site.
We're also gonna also gonna actually link it to or post it on Rushlimbo.com.
We just posted some photos uh first of several batches to come uh from last night's dizzying performance of Rush on Broadway.
Uh and as usual, there are four pictures of me, eight pictures of the audience, uh uh one picture of Hannity, a picture of a check being presented to the Red Cross, that's where the proceeds went.
I am confident, confident that my own website will add pictures of me from last night's stellar performance of uh Rush on Broadway.
I know it was Tracy who was taking the pictures, and I know that uh uh well, no, I'm not trying to single out Tracy here, Brian.
Yes, I am.
At any rate, um Yeah, well, I know there was another photographer, the WABC photographer, and those pictures will be delivered to us uh by two o'clock.
So we'll be adding batches of photos from the night uh throughout the busy broadcast day at uh rushlimbaugh.com.
We'll have the dental cam on by the way later on in the uh program as as uh as uh things unfold this afternoon.
Let's get started.
Uh New York Times today is uh reporting no final report seen in inquiry on a CIA leak.
Now listen to this.
The special counsel in the CIA leak case has told associates he has no plans to issue a final report about the results of the investigation, heightening the expectation that he intends to bring indictments, lawyers in the case and law enforcement officials said yesterday.
The prosecutor, Patrick Fitzgerald, not expected to take any action in the case this week.
Really?
Let's see now.
Last week, 22 indictments were coming.
Last week, then yesterday indictments were coming today.
Chris Matthews has Dick Cheney resigned and in jail.
Dick Chris Matthews has this whole thing being about the the lies that took us into the Iraq war.
He's lit really is lost control of it.
We got the audio sound bites.
They're coming up here.
The dirty little secret is that the special prosecutor cannot legally issue a report unless he goes back to the court and gets permission to do so.
It's not SOP.
It's not standard operating procedure.
The idea that hey, he's not gonna issue a report.
Why, that may mean indictment, doesn't mean anything of the sort.
It's all of this.
I mean, folks, if you Pardon my French here, but but i i it they've gone from from the Democrats and the left have gone from orgasms to premature ejaculation is what's happening here.
And then there's no other way to describe this.
And the woman is gonna be very unhappy when this is all over.
Premature ejaculation is not good.
And they're engaging in it, and they just cannot help themselves.
Breathtaking to watch this.
A final report had long been considered an option for Mr. Fitzgerald if he decided not to accuse anyone of wrongdoing, although Justice Department officials have been dubious about his legal authority to issue such a there's no dubiousness about it.
He can't without special permission.
What a sentence.
A final report had long been considered an option.
Although Justice Department officials have been dubious about his legal authority to issue such well, why write the sentence?
It can't be an option without special permission.
By signaling that he had no plans to issue the grand jury's findings in such detail because he can't.
Mr. Fitzgerald appeared to narrow his options either to indictments or closing his investigation with no public discourse of his findings of choice that would set off a political fire storm.
Why would it set off a political fire storm?
And with whom would it set off a political fire storm?
It would not set off a political firestorm with the American people at large.
It would set off a political firestorm of the mainstream press, predominantly Chris Matthews.
It would set off a fire storm with these left-wing extremists on the internet on the Democrat side, because they've raised expectations.
They've already got this case solved.
Rove indicted, Rove in jail, Cheney indicted, Cheney resigned, Bush, brainless running the White House.
Bush probably resigning because he'll have to admit to the country he has no brain, and therefore his two brains are gone, and so he's going to give up running the country rather than run it into the ground any further.
This is the dream that they're having out there.
Let's let me you want to hear some sound bites?
Let's go to the sound bites.
Let's go to Chris Matthews, hardball.
No, it was this morning.
I'm sorry, MSNBC Live.
The host, Amy Roebach was talking to him and says, What's your feeling on just how high these indictments might actually reach?
If there are indictments, they're going to be probably in the vice president's office.
They're probably going to come next week, and they are going to blow this uh this White House apart.
It's going to be unbelievable.
We I think the people watching right now who are voters better start paying attention to this issue.
It's not just about whether somebody's name was leaked.
It's about whether we went to war under false pretenses or not, whether people knew about that or not, and what they did when they were charged with that kind of offense against the United States.
I mean, it's serious business.
Where in the world is he getting this?
This is nothing but wishful thinking.
I mean, this is Fitzgerald is investigating the legality of the war.
He goes from there.
You know, the here's a here's a legal question for you.
This grand jury was in panel to investigate this so-called leak of the identity of a so-called covert, so-called CIA, so-called agent.
This great can this grand jury then sit on a fishing expedition that's gonna entail all of these other things that nobody even knows is happening, such as the legality of the war.
So Romack, Roback then responded, was I mean, does this affect uh President Bush's effectiveness?
If these indictments do come down, the vice president's office is severely implicated, criminally implicated.
It's not just about a leak case.
There's lots of leaks in this town.
It's not even about a set of felonies.
It's about the relationship between the president of the United States and the vice president of the United States, which has been probably the strongest political relationship we've ever seen in this town.
They are so connected at the hip.
And if this dislodges that connection, that's gonna be big news because now Bill uh George W. Bush will be running this country completely on his own the next couple months.
It's going to be very interesting.
Oh, my God.
Um let's go to the what is there to say?
What is there to Well, I mean, it it it it it's it's it's not just about a leak case, lots of leaks in this town, not even about a set of felonies.
It's about the relationship between the president of the United States and the I how does he know this?
Nobody else knows this.
And and uh they're they're connected at the hip.
This dislodges that connection going to be big news because now George Bush will be running the country completely on his own the next couple of months.
Oh, Every cliche that the left believes about George W. Bush is here.
He's not his own man.
He doesn't have his own brain.
He's not running the country.
Cheney and Rove are here from uh last Sunday on this week with George Stephanopoulos, Joseph de Genova, and Richard Ben Vanista Steffi says if Fitzgerald decides not to bring indictments, should he issue a report.
I don't think so.
He's not legally entitled to do so.
He cannot issue a public report.
Well, if the court says he can.
Well, he'll have to get a very special court order, which is rarely granted.
I agree.
It's not appropriate.
Okay, so last Sunday here, these two legal whizzes, Ben Vanista and uh De Genova say, hey, this is for this report.
But so this New York Times story here is no different than the story they ran the week before the election, a year ago, claiming all these bombs had been lost in Iraq, which was old news.
Now they're trying to make hay out of absolutely nothing, with Chris Matthews having the vice president indicted, thrown in jail or resigned or whatever, and Bush having to run the country on his own for two months.
You can't write this stuff.
Hey, cookie, get me those Louis Free bites.
I intended to play Monday and I intended to play yesterday, and I gotta play today.
People are demanding those by, and I you're right.
I mean, I promised for two days, and I didn't get to them, but uh but I will.
Let me let me try to explain to those of you who may be uh for some reason questioning me or doubting me why it is that such a report by the independent counsel is uh is uh so unlikely.
A report would require the release of grand jury information to some extent, and this entire investigation has been conducted through the grand jury.
What happens in there is, of course, off the record.
It's private.
So that's why you gotta go back to the court and get a special court order, and it's very rarely granted for that reason is to protect the integrity of what goes on in the grand jury.
A grand jury does not allow for due process.
That is, it doesn't allow for legal representation of those who testify.
So if you ever call before a grand jury, you're in there on your own.
You get all the prosecutors in there, you got the grand jurors and you.
Your lawyer's not allowed in there, no question could be objected to.
It's not due process.
Doesn't allow for the usual rules of evidence.
It does not allow for a uh potential subject to defend himself, that is to put on a defense, including cross-examination or calling witnesses, just sitting duck in there.
And and so, you know, the the the uh the reason these reports don't go out is because it's it's it's not a legal proceeding in the sense that there's due process that's taken place.
So what happens in there has to be kept uh private and off the record.
Now, as for Matthews, uh in most most of the writing in the news media today and in past weeks, they're trading in rumor and innuendo and hopes and dreams.
And nothing more.
I want to assure you, I don't know anything coming out of there, but they don't either.
They haven't the slightest idea what's going on in it.
They think they do, because they think, just like everybody else does, that when a prosecutor calls you in, you are guilty.
When a prosecutor calls you in four times, you are guilty.
When a prosecutor calls you in and makes you sit there for four hours, you are guilty.
It's just the natural bias that exists in our system.
People will say, well, why would prosecutors care about going after people that are not guilty?
So it's just the natural bias that everybody assumes, not just in this case, but any case.
Anytime you hear somebody's been charged with something, slam dunk over with.
And even though it's up to the prosecution to prove their case, everybody still gets it in their head that it's up to whoever's been charged to defend themselves.
They've got to prove they didn't do it.
That's and that's just the human nature of our system.
Now, these gig, you combine that with the hopes and dreams and wishful thinking of these people in the press who have been salivating in every opportunity to try to nail Bush, nail Rove, nail Cheney, because these people have beaten them at the ballot box, and they can't figure out how to beat them at the ballot box, and the only way to beat them is to get rid of them and to use the legal system, and this is the left's modus operandi.
Use the legal system to to to establish uh their political cases to establish their political policies and to get rid of their political enemies, and that's how they use it.
Hello, Mr. Ronnie Earl.
And I can give you a list of other prosecutors who are motivated the same way.
And have been.
And it's just it's it's it's laughable, but it's also it's getting to point now of starting to really make me mad.
This is going way beyond, and I know it's all these shows on cable or opinion shows and so forth, but it's not even responsible.
I mean, the th there's no attempt here to even be responsible about this.
I mean, for example, they're asking, how can a prosecutor investigate something like this and not indict anybody?
You see, that proves the point about about what I believe to be the ongoing human nature bias we have about this.
A grand jury investigation is just that.
It's an investigation.
Just because there's an investigation doesn't mean there are going to be charges.
Doesn't mean it's not automatic that there's going to be an indictment.
Just because there's an investigation does not mean that there has even been a crime committed.
But you cannot convince people on the left of this.
It's the exact opposite.
Because there's a grand jury, there has been a crime committed.
And we know what the crime is.
Bush lied.
Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction and Cheney lied.
And we're going to get them, and that's what Fitzgerald's in there to do.
And I'm telling you, my hope, and we all we all have the my hope is that whatever comes out of this is so unexpected to these people that they cannot find a way to flim flam their way out of it and explain it.
I mean, I hope that whatever comes out of this that night on the cable TV shows, the sum total of communication from all these people sounds like this.
I hope they're tongue-tied.
I know what's going to happen if that happens.
They're going to say that there's been undue influence.
We know how this White House works, they're going to say.
In fact, that scenario is, the case is being laid for that with this line in the New York Times.
Closing his investigation with no public disclosure of his findings, a choice that would set off a political fire storm.
B.S. wouldn't set off any sort of political fire storm.
Let me tell you what would happen.
Who wrote this?
David Johnston and Richard Stevenson.
Let me tell you people, Mr. Johnston and Mr. Stevenson, what's going to happen if there's no report and there's no indictments.
Most of the people in this country are going to stand up and cheer.
Most of the people are going to stand up and say, and they're going to watch cable TV that night and say, they're just gonna jump in for joy here.
Because any time the press is wrong, and any time the press is disappointed, and any time the press is let down is a cause for celebration in this country among the majority of people.
Political fire storm.
I know what they're gonna try to say.
That's code words for if he doesn't issue a report, and if he doesn't indict anybody, and if it isn't Rove, and if it isn't Cheney, we're gonna raise hell about what compromise the integrity of this investigation.
That's what they're telling us.
They're either gonna get what they want, the press are gonna get what they want out of this, or they are gonna raise hell and make somebody pay for it.
Fitzgerald, somebody at the Justice Department, who knows where.
But the purpose of this investigation is to determine what happened.
Not necessarily indict somebody.
It's that it's that plain and simple.
Here's Matt Lubbock, Texas.
Matt, welcome to the Rush Limbaugh program.
It's great to have you with us, sir.
Thank you, sir.
Mega West Texas didos to you.
Thank you.
Uh I don't know if you noticed or not in that final Chris Matthews bite you played.
He uh he's going on about indicting Cheney and Cheney's gonna have to resign and and the slip of the tongue he he mentioned the name Bill.
I mean, uh President Bush is gonna be running this town all by himself.
And uh, you know, you have to assume that the name he had in mind was Bill Clinton.
And you're about to I I heard it.
I did I did I I didn't I didn't know who he meant, but you actually think that Matthews is so far gone that he thinks if Cheney and Rove are indicted and in jail, maybe get the death penalty uh that that uh Bill Clinton will be running the country.
You think that's what I think it's just another prime example of him living in the past along with the rest of his.
Well, let's listen to it again.
I mean, I as far off as as my buddy Chris is gotten on this.
I mean, it could well be if it they're thinking that this would put Clinton back in the lighthouse.
I here's here's the bite again, we can all uh figure it out ourselves.
It's not just about a leak case.
There's lots of leaks in this town.
It's not even about a set of felonies.
It's about the relationship between the President of the United States and the Vice President of the United States, which has been probably the strongest political relationship we've ever seen in this town.
They are so connected to hip.
And if this dislodges that connection, that's going to be big news because now Bill uh George W. Bush will be running this country completely on his own the next couple months.
It's going to be very interesting.
All right.
Did you hear him say Bill Clinton or just Bill?
Because now Bill won't be running who what other bill is there in uh in in somebody somebody's mind like uh Matthews.
Well it couldn't it it well you are talking invite indictments that could be one link to Clinton but he's he obviously couldn't be talking about Bill Cosby what other bill is there that he could uh possibly be thinking of it has to be the guy's right it has to be uh Bill Clinton here's Mike in Albany Mike you're next take us into the next commercial break welcome sir how are you very good your pre-mature ejaculation metaphor was fantastic I I can tell you my New York Times is ruined.
But uh what's worse than premature ejaculation is Mike Mike do me a kid you slowed down just a little bit I'm having I heard premature ejaculation but not too much else and I want to make sure you're on topic here.
Slow down just a little bit so I can understand what you're saying.
Oh I'm telling you that my New York I'm a liberal so my New York Times is ruined from that.
But what's worse than premature So I was right you you you're your your times was in the way you were reading it and you had your premature ejaculation that's why the Times has been okay I I got I get it now I am giddy at the press coverage of this now what's worse than premature ejaculation though is contraception that fails.
And I think you're about to find that out when all these indictments are handed up and I I want to bet you I'll buy you I'll go up to Canada and I'll get your favorite Cuban cigar whatever it is and I'll buy it for you if I'm right and there are indictments if I'm i i if I'm wrong I mean and there are none if I'm right I want you to run my fantasy football team for me.
Okay if I'm right I want you to run my fantasy football team for me.
I don't smoke Cuban cigars.
You'll have to get some from the Dominican Republic.
I smoke La Flor Dominicana, the Double Ligero Chisel.
My favorite cigar.
It's an absolutely fabulous cigar, rolled specially for me in this size.
You people can't get them in the size I have them.
I'm sorry we can't make that work, but I'm telling you, this is exciting because we've all said this is a criminal gang running the White House for so long.
Now we're going to see it.
It's a John Ashcroft that appointed this prosecutor.
It's a Republican prosecutor.
it's time that they reaped what they've thrown all right I understand where you're coming from this is a criminal bunch in the White House they've been running a criminal operation here since the day one and uh you've been trying to nail them all this time and now you finally got them with a with an Ashcroft appointed prosecutor what's the bet uh whatever you want.
I mean with it's gonna be larger than my means I I could afford a cigar for you but uh no I'm not talking about the stakes what's the bet what do you what are you telling me is going to happen.
Oh that there will be indictments that Jos Hannah has flipped and there will be at least five indictments from this okay who um I'll go with Scooter I'll I'll go with the easy ones first.
Scooter Levy, Carl Rove, uh let's say Mary Madeline I'm gonna go out on a limb and say John Bolton and the fly big change.
Madeline and John Bolton are going to be indicted, along with Scooter Libby, Karl Rove, and Dick Cheney.
The White House Iraq group.
The White House Iraq group.
So, because this investigation, you agree with Matthews, this investigation is all about the lies that led us into Iraq.
No, I think Matthews is a complete moron.
I think he's a complete idiot, and I don't think he's very honest either.
Well, you've got to be very careful here, because you sound just like him.
You've got to be very careful here, Mike, because you sound just like him.
Well, I'm sorry, but he's a participant in this.
He got a call from the White House.
he he he sits there hosting his show like he was never a part of this he got a call from the White House he's he's involved he's as involved as Judas Judith Miller was and he pretends He doesn't know anything that's going on.
You know what?
He's got a whole lot more information than he's sharing with his viewers.
And to me, that's just a breach of all sorts of people.
What if he's holding back?
I'd like to know what he's holding back.
What about what about Connelisa Rice?
You think Connelly Zice is going to be indicted?
What are the odds of her being indicted and Karen Hughes, maybe?
And and and hey, look, Colin Powell, he delivered the lies at the UN.
And of course, Bush made Colin Powell lie.
And then you got Rumsfeld, who's uh who's a criminal.
I mean, where do these indictments stop?
Well, you heard what Colin Powell said about that.
He said that was the low low point of his career, and you know, it doesn't matter General.
You know, you go rob the bank and say I hate doing it.
It doesn't get you off the hook.
He went to the UN, he lied about weapons of mass destruction.
He lied not just to America, he lied to the UN.
You don't lie to the UN.
But he didn't like to the grand.
And uh he lied to the French.
How do you how dare do you lie to the French?
So you he didn't, he's not off the hook just because he apologized for it and said it was a bad thing.
He did not lie to the grand jury.
He was never under oath when he when he when he made all those I'm gonna get independent.
What does he have to do with that?
Well that what does that have to do with anything?
Because uh I look uh this is uh you know, you don't have to go to the grand jury.
I mean, if we're gonna criminalize the Iraq war, and that's what this is all about, where do you draw the line?
Anyway, I I tell you, I I'll I'll uh I'll just keep your call in mind.
I don't I'm not gonna I'm not gonna engage the uh uh bet because having listening to you uh listen to you speak, uh your fantasy football team may not be worth activating, uh much less running, if you used as much judgment picking your players as you're doing in predicting these uh indictments.
But I'm glad to call to uh you called.
It's great to hear from you, as always.
Love hearing from our friends on the left out there.
A quick time out, folks, back with more in just a second.
Ha, how are you?
Welcome back.
Great to have you.
El Rush Ball, the EIB network, the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.
Uh, ladies and gentlemen, uh, do we all remember when uh Hillary Clinton testified before grand jury that with the famous I can't recall, I don't remember.
Uh my brain is jello.
Uh how many stories were there then about Hillary Clinton under investigation, what she would do if she were indicted?
Anybody remember Matthews, anybody losing their cookies over what might happen if Hillary Clinton were indicted?
What it might mean to Bill Clinton?
How about stories when Bill Clinton was under investigation?
I don't recall all these rumors about indictments and what these two would do.
Instead, I recall story after story about how they shouldn't be indicted, about how this was a witch hunt investigation, about how Ken Starr was a pervert.
A sex voyeur.
Remember that?
Hey, it was uh that all the attention was turned on the prosecutor.
They were destroying the prosecutor, trying to destroy Ken Starr.
No rumors about the pitfalls awaiting the Clintons.
No suggestions that simply because they were indicted or simply they were being appearing before a grand jury that they were guilty of anything.
But look at Rove, Libby, uh Cheney, Mary Madeline, thrown in the indictment list.
But let me let me follow the media's lead here.
Let me ask this question.
There's a suit in California, the the allegations, a lawsuit.
The allegations include Hillary Clinton's alleged knowledge of illegal campaign contributions to her Senate campaign.
Now, I've not talked about this case because we don't know what the what the end result is gonna be.
We have no way of knowing what is or is not accurate, what the outcome of this case is gonna be.
We're not dealing with innuendo.
I can easily sit here and do what these guys are doing and say, you know, she had to know she had to know she's as guilty as anybody.
She probably directed the whole thing.
She directed those funds be embezzled and redirected.
Hillary Clinton knew it was her campaign.
She needed the money.
I could do a Chris Matthews here every day, and we could make Hillary Clinton, we could outfit her for those orange jumpsuits today.
And we can do just what they're doing.
And you know what the stories are?
Limbaugh irresponsibly again today put Hillary Clinton in jail when he can't possibly know what's happening, the outcome of her trial.
What should Hillary Clinton do in this case if the evidence shows that she had knowledge about this?
Should she resign?
Should she not run for president?
What if it comes out that Hillary Clinton knows exactly what she did and that she's guilty?
Hmm.
You know, it it just the the the the bias, the the the the double edged sword, the uh the the clear agenda of these people in the uh in the partisan media is just unavoidable now.
And I could I could illustrate by being absurd, as I just did with his whole Hillary Clinton uh example, how over the top they've all gotten.
I gotta go because of time, but we'll be right back.
Folks, have you heard this one?
Honestly, Cindy Sheehan says that Hillary Clinton sounds just like me on the war on Iraq.
