The Question of Professor Jiang

Professor Jiang's "end pax Judaica" post espouses Khazar theory, claiming Mizrahim and Sephardis are true Jews while Ashkenazis are Khazars. Speakers debate if nominally leftists promote this to evade censorship or anti-Semitism charges, noting it conveniently labels white people as imperialist without backlash. While some suspect Jiang is a Chinese agent spreading subversion via English lectures, others contrast his views with conscious actors like Adam Green versus Donnie's scriptural predictions. Ultimately, the discussion suggests audiences prefer grand conspiracy narratives over brutal realities, even regarding Charlie Kirk's murder by a random gunman. [Automatically generated summary]

Khazar Theory Controversy 00:04:00
Yeah, I just wanted to ask to like bring the conversation back to the Khazar theory discussion we're having and to specifically to Professor Zhang.
Ever since he's been on this show, I have been interacting with a bit of his content.
And I saw in one of his posts like a couple months ago, I think it was called like the end is near, like end pax Judaica, something to this effect, that he was espousing Khazar theory as, you know, like the Mizrahim and the Sephardis are the real Jews and these Ashkenazis are actually Khazars.
And I was wondering to what degree you think some people who are like maybe nominally leftists do this as a way of like avoiding censorship and avoiding claims of anti-Semitism?
If that's totally I think I mentioned that when I was talking about it, it is a convenient theory.
Do you think that's what he's doing?
We should have Professor Jang back on because I and I want to watch more of his content before we do.
I enjoyed talking with him.
He's a very nice.
Yes.
And he showed respect and we showed respect back.
Now, is he an agent of the Chinese government and bent on spreading subversion, demoralization, and madness?
Possibly.
He also might possibly be an unknowing agent where he's sort of being boosted by the algorithm.
I would just put it this way.
He's in a high school in China and he's giving these lectures and these lectures are in English.
So even if there is a plausible explanation for why he's doing that, it's very convenient that this is for foreign consumption, basically.
He's not talking to his students in Chinese and Mandarin, that is.
Right.
It's clearly foreign.
I think you just have to take those things into account.
He's been praising Dugan.
The other thing is when he came on, I at least got the impression that he was one of like an Adam Green or Mark Brahman or Richard Spencer type who believes that there's a kind of blueprint that you can find in holy books and that there are conscious actors bringing this blueprint into the world.
Now, he said other things that lead me to believe that he is more on the line of Donnie, that he thinks that the scripture is telling you what's going to happen.
Is he playing it sort of both ways?
When he starts talking about secret societies as well, I think I've just heard this.
Is it?
Maybe is Jang, does he have this big smorgasbord of like internet memes and he's like arranged the all the different cheeses and salamis and berries into this?
You know, wonderful plate of uh, crudite or what I don't know?
Not a crudite, a uh, what's the other one?
Charcuterie, charcuterie.
Yes, exactly he's.
He's just put it all together.
I don't know.
I don't know my answer on this.
Because he's such a nice guy, I almost have this tendency to give him the benefit of the doubt and not just jump on him like when Dugan is engaging in all this nonsense and just like actively promoting silliness.
I'm just like off.
But Jang, I don't know, I have a soft spot for Jang, but this is my assessment at the moment.
But I guess I would pose the question to Donnie as well, do you think some of the people who do promote Khazar theory do it as a way of just like avoiding a claim of Anti-Semitism?
I think that some might because, as you were saying, it is like kind of anti-white, like you can just say that white people are like imperialist bastards and like nobody's going to boohoo you for doing so.
Why Whites Are Blamed 00:01:07
In the same way you you can.
You could talk about how the whites took over America, the Americas.
Well, you could say, oh well, you know, it was really.
It's really the whites that are committing genocide in Gaza, or whatever, or whatever it is.
Yeah, I think that's definitely.
I think that some people may definitely do that.
I think that I think that, for the most part, a lot of people like like, actually probably really believe that.
Like, I think that people tend to uh, people tend to gravitate towards a lot of the conspiratorial stuff.
You know it, I just think it, just it, it just appeals human nature right, like we always want there to be some some grand conspiracy uh, rather than like the the brutal reality like we saw with Charlie Kirk.
Right, like you know, nobody wants to admit That a Titan like Charlie Kirk, you know, was killed by some random kid, you know, who grabbed his dad's or his grandpa's gun or whatever.
Like, yeah, you know, we want, we want it to be this big conspiracy because it makes us feel better.
You know what I mean?
But yeah, but yeah, there's probably some of that, though.
Did you ever thank you?
I never met Erica.
I knew Charlie pre-Erica.
Yeah, I knew Charlie pre-Erica.
So I never got to, yeah.
