Rudy Giuliani - America's Mayor Live (912): President Trump Extends Ceasefire as Iran Struggles on a "Unified" Plan Aired: 2026-04-21 Duration: 50:42 === Times Square Ball Cancelled (06:32) === [00:00:05] Good evening. [00:00:06] This is Rudy Giuliani. [00:00:07] And as you can see behind me from New York City of Times Square, right below me is Times Square, or actually three blocks away. [00:00:18] And this would be the area where the ball 26, the 250th anniversary of the greatest nation on earth. [00:00:27] But the mayor, Mondambi, has canceled it. [00:00:31] And there's going to be some kind of private ceremony, I guess. [00:00:37] It's going to be done. [00:00:38] The theory is that having been the city of New York has done a pretty good job of hiding the fact that they defunded the police. [00:00:48] Now, that was done under de Blasio, who was a communist like the present mayor, but a less committed one and a less serious. [00:01:02] The police commissioner has made it clear that. [00:01:08] This public events are going to be canceled. [00:01:11] We'll cut into that revenue that they're expecting. [00:01:13] And at that rate, we're looking more at about $200 million to build these free, growing, and then spitting people out. [00:01:21] The city is now clearly ahead of its rivals that sometimes beat them New Jersey and California in emitting people or having people despise the government so much as they leave. [00:01:40] So just to get you up to date on where we are in the whole situation with Iran, it changes hourly, but that is understandable given the given the confusion, invalid and oh my goodness. [00:02:04] But in any event, we're not really sure who's in charge in Iran. [00:02:11] There's a pretty good working theory that the IRGC is in charge. [00:02:20] It doesn't mean that others don't have a role. [00:02:24] But as we saw with the opening and the closing of the strait, the political leadership Arigachi, the foreign minister, left out of that was the original proposition that got Trump to blockade, which was you got pay us. [00:02:42] They're looking for fees of like a million or two million, by the way, which is, you know, a shakedown. [00:02:49] But there is a gangster element to the Mullahs and the regime. [00:02:54] Not a gangster element. [00:02:55] They are, among other things, gangsters. [00:03:00] Trump really What a brilliant strategy, just cut that into that immediately by doing the boycott. [00:03:08] And what Iran didn't realize, they say, is that when they agree to open the strait or to cooperate in the opening of the strait, it is piracy for them to try to collect, to try to avoid sanctions. [00:03:27] They're called shadow ships. [00:03:29] Make sure it's headed to where it says it's going to head. [00:03:32] And at least five. [00:03:34] The person really in charge of the opening of the goods, he doesn't want to be indebted, particularly with the. [00:03:41] He doesn't want Trump to have a chit for this negotiation that's coming up. [00:03:49] So it's going to remain this way. [00:03:55] Of all the. [00:03:57] Trump is very difficult to predict, and he's made himself that way so that. [00:04:08] He keeps them off guard and off balance. [00:04:11] But I think one of the things that you can be certain of is he's not lifting that blockade until that whole straight noted more than 150 polymarket accounts that placed numerous, numerous bets, they say hundreds of bets, predicting a US strike on Iran. [00:04:42] The last time we did. [00:04:45] And then on March 23, they saw almost $600 million in oil futures trading just about 15 minutes before Trump said he would hit their power plants. [00:04:57] And in January, this is really very upsetting, an unknown party with a just opened account on PolyMarket placed a $30,000 bet on the capture of Nicolas Maduro. [00:05:11] To mental defects of different kinds, and it has a propensity to do damage to the areas of the brain that prevent violence. [00:05:22] What we're seeing with these gambling things is that this is also a very, very difficult addiction, and it can destroy people. [00:05:32] And it also can lead to this betting on political results like war. [00:05:43] I imagine right now you could place a bet as to whether or not the U.S. is going to strike Iran, or as Iran is now threatened, whether they are going to take action because the U.S. is not stopping the blockade. [00:06:00] Tonight or earlier today, they made a threat when they made it clear they're not showing up at the negotiation. [00:06:09] And so, as a Declaration of Independence by my good friend, Alan M. Dershowitz, And Alan Dershowitz has officially changed his registration from Democrat to Republican, although he points out that he has serious disagreements with the Republican Party on issues like abortion and I don't know what else there would be, === Politically Appointed Judge Threatens (05:38) === [00:06:38] but largely on the issue of Israel, because he has come to the conclusion that the Democrat Party is the single biggest opponent of the state of Israel. [00:06:51] Of any significance, and that all but seven Senate senators, Democratic senators, voted for an arms embargo against Israel at a time in which they're really fighting for their lives. [00:07:04] And although he says that there is some anti Semitism in the Republican Party and on the right, it is basically systemic Semitism that exists within the Democrat Party. [00:07:18] And he's right about that. [00:07:20] He's very much right about it. [00:07:22] And if that's one of the main issues that affects you, you just in good conscience can't be a Democrat. [00:07:29] And the thing about Alan that's amazing is he acts on his conscience. [00:07:33] He did it even as a defense lawyer, he does it as a person. [00:07:39] I think all of you throughout America know about the case of, maybe the world, I don't know, the case of the NYPD Sergeant Eric Duran. [00:07:51] Who was convicted by a judge? [00:07:54] It was a judge trial. [00:07:57] His lawyer waived a jury, which always is a strategy that's questionable, but under these circumstances, I don't think that's really the cause of the problem. [00:08:06] And he was found guilty of assault. [00:08:13] As soon as he was caught, he ran away. [00:08:16] And Sergeant Duran took a cooler, a typical picnic cooler, and threw it at him to stop him. [00:08:27] And he fell down and accidentally hit his head on the cement, some area of the cement, and it killed him. [00:08:35] So the officer was not throwing it at him to kill him, the officer was throwing it at him to stop him so that he didn't flee the arrest and then spend the next two months destroying the lives of young people by selling them drugs until they got caught again. [00:08:52] I have no idea how this is not justifiable on the part of a police officer to do this. [00:08:57] It would seem to me he could have shot at it. [00:09:01] But the district attorney's office, which is vehemently anti police and just as strongly pro criminal, and this judge who's a disgrace. [00:09:22] But he's pretty much indicative of the politically appointed judges in New York. [00:09:29] They are all politically appointed with a phony election. [00:09:35] There are no Republicans. [00:09:37] So it's a, as I always use Engelmoron, the judge who conducted the unbelievably sick trial involving Trump's property. [00:09:51] He's been elected three times. [00:09:55] Pretty impressive, huh? [00:09:56] I liked it three times, except he never had an opponent. [00:10:00] So he was effectively appointed, was appointed by the county leader of Manhattan, the Democrat county leader of Manhattan. [00:10:12] This judge would have been appointed. [00:10:14] Why don't he be the mayor then? [00:10:17] If he's a criminal court judge. [00:10:18] If he isn't a criminal, if he, I don't think he's a Supreme Court judge. [00:10:23] They describe him as Bronx Judge Guy Mitchell. [00:10:26] Who gave the police officer a three to nine year prison sentence? [00:10:32] Well, he was released on bail on appeal. [00:10:36] He wouldn't give the guy bail pending appeals. [00:10:38] But in any event, the appellate division gave him bail, which does indicate that at least there are very good questions on appeal. [00:10:54] And I think that's an understatement. [00:10:57] So let's see what happens. [00:10:59] This is a travesty of justice. [00:11:01] And if this man has to spend time in jail, it's a horrible, horrible thing. [00:11:06] Jail is difficult on everyone. [00:11:08] On a police officer, it's a question of life and death. [00:11:15] And we'll be right back with America's Male Life. [00:11:23] U.S. Army Major Scott Smiley paid a high price serving our nation. [00:11:28] Scott was leading his platoon in Iraq when a blast sent shrapnel through his eyes, leaving him blind and temporarily paralyzed. [00:11:36] Scott would become the first blind, active duty military officer before medically retiring years later. [00:11:44] Thanks to friends like you, the Tunnel of the Towers Foundation gave Scott and his family a mortgage-free, specially adapted smart home. [00:11:53] Show your support for America's heroes now. [00:11:57] Donate $11 a month to Tunnels and Towers at t2t.org. [00:12:03] Are you ready for some action? [00:12:05] I'm ready for action. [00:12:19] We're talking about ESPN, OAN, Newsmax. [00:12:23] Channels you can't get anymore in certain areas. [00:12:25] Compared to the competition, this is a way better deal. [00:13:03] Here we are, pretty much at the beginning of the process here at this pristine, I call it a laboratory. [00:13:10] It's not like a factory, it's like a hospital. [00:13:13] This is the beginning of the process for roasting. [00:13:16] Most people don't use this quality. [00:13:19] We deal with small farmers because they like to know who we're dealing with. [00:13:22] They give us the highest quality, all organic, non GMO. [00:13:28] You should know all Arabica beans. [00:13:31] No robusto. [00:13:32] All Arabica. [00:13:34] They're going to go into the roaster and it'll get roasted for about 20 minutes or so. [00:13:47] Oh my goodness, look at these. [00:13:52] My goodness. [00:13:58] You're going to want to specially order these. [00:14:05] This is what goes into Rudy's coffee. [00:14:23] Vessel Tosca, Voto Vessel Tosca, vacate your engine room. [00:14:27] Vacate your engine room. [00:14:29] We're prepared to subject you to disabling fire. [00:15:06] There you go. [00:15:07] That should give you an idea of what it's like on the high seas. [00:15:12] That was the reason that they are not showing up at the negotiations in Islamabad. [00:15:23] They're not going to show up until the U.S. answers for that and interference with the Iranian ship and also list the blockade. [00:15:36] What that really means is list the Oil going to China, which is by far the main customer. [00:15:47] And it's beginning to feel it, as we pointed out. [00:15:52] Xi Jinping called Mohammed Ben Jassim yesterday and asked that they open the Straits. [00:16:00] Now, he's really calling the wrong person. [00:16:03] I mean, Mohammed Ben Jassim has a great deal of. [00:16:12] Of credit with the president, but he really doesn't have control of all the weather. [00:16:19] His feelings on it have to be enormously complex. [00:16:21] His country's been hit by Iran numerous times, even though they did nothing to hit Iran. [00:16:28] Instead of hitting Israel and the United States, it was Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and these other places that were hit by Iran. [00:16:43] So who knows what his actual What is his actual position? [00:16:49] But as you see, I think with the tweet that's up there now, the USS Spruance was the American vessel that intercepted Tusca and is now holding it with the Iranians very, very upset. [00:17:07] There also was a seizure that was done outside of the area of the Straits by the US because we are. [00:17:19] Conducting a worldwide blockade. [00:17:24] We're conducting a worldwide blockade of Iranian vessels that are subject to sanction. [00:17:32] So we reserve the right to interfere with them anywhere. [00:17:37] And we did with one in the Indian Ocean, I think it was yesterday. [00:17:43] And so that's another one that's been taken. [00:17:45] And we don't have an exact count on the number of ships that have been turned around without having to be taken. [00:17:53] But we know of at least six distinct ones that were headed to. [00:17:57] We believe China, they appear to be headed to Malaysia, but I don't think Malaysia needs all six. [00:18:08] This has been a practice they've been using to avoid sanctions for some time. [00:18:13] They falsify the destination of the ship, they change the registration of the ship, it'll sail under different names at different times, all done to try to evade. [00:18:29] Evade sanctions, which is now becoming impossible because of the presence of large numbers of American ships and very, very close American tracking to squeeze them very, very hard. [00:18:45] So the Labor Secretary, Ori Chavez de Rima, resigned. [00:18:50] Now, there are any number of allegations of misconduct against her. [00:18:56] They all seem to be related to any one thing. [00:19:00] And I haven't paid as much attention to it as I probably should have, but I'll take a look at it and see what I can tell you about it or what I can garner from it tomorrow. [00:19:14] Israel now has slowed down in its. [00:19:18] hits against Hezbollah. [00:19:22] It'll only respond as Hezbollah factions that are not part of the ceasefire with Lebanon, if they break the ceasefire. [00:19:31] That has happened a couple of times and they've had hit back at Hezbollah. [00:19:35] Remember, Israel is not at war with Lebanon. [00:19:37] Israel is at war with Hezbollah, which really occupies Lebanon. [00:19:42] And for 20 years, the Lebanese government and the UN have promised to either limit their activities Andor get rid of them, and they haven't done either. [00:19:55] So now Netanyahu and Trump have agreed that Israel and Lebanon will enter into a peace, but Lebanon will help ferret out the remaining factions in Hezbollah. [00:20:13] So if you see some military activity up there, don't be surprised, and it is not necessarily a violation of the. [00:20:24] Ceasefire. [00:20:25] Now, this is not the ceasefire that Iran wanted. [00:20:31] Iran wanted a ceasefire so that Hezbollah could be saved and rearmed and reconstituted because Hezbollah is their most effective and almost absolutely necessary proxy because they offer so much defense to Iran. [00:20:55] So, yep, they're complaining about it, but they're not getting anywhere. [00:20:59] This may account for the fact that they're not showing up at the peace negotiations because they say, as long as there's a blockade, there's no peace. [00:21:16] You got to figure out which is which, right? [00:21:23] Meanwhile, Israel is also continuing its activities against Hamas. [00:21:30] As Hamas takes violent action in Gaza, Israel continues its effort to wipe out Hamas. [00:21:43] If that, Hamas is not under any ceasefire, peace treaty, peace negotiation. [00:21:51] They were supposed to disarm as part of the ceasefire that was agreed to some time ago. [00:21:57] They never have. [00:21:58] So, therefore, Israel will respond in kind when that violation manifests itself and they're using their arms. [00:22:11] On some other issues, the stock markets are doing exceedingly well. [00:22:16] I think today, and Ted, if you're listening, maybe you could check on this for me. [00:22:22] But I think they ended, most of them ended higher again today. [00:22:26] Yesterday, they all ended higher. [00:22:31] But I don't know how that's going to be affected by the breakdown now in the peace talks, in the sense that no one is being sent there by Iran. [00:22:43] So you really can't have peace talks if it's just the United States and Pakistan. [00:22:47] And as far as I can tell, the U.S. has not. [00:22:53] The U.S. has not sent either any of its negotiators. [00:22:57] I had thought originally that Jared and Steve Witkoff had gone, but no, they were at the White House today. [00:23:05] So for there to be peace talks, it would take, if Iran decided that they were going to send people to the peace talks, they couldn't take place really for about two days, given the fact everybody's got to get there to Islamabad. [00:23:26] So I don't know. [00:23:27] I don't know. [00:23:30] I don't know exactly what this extension. [00:23:35] I don't know exactly what this extension of the ceasefire means. [00:23:40] The president extended today at the last minute because tomorrow was the deadline. [00:23:45] And if they didn't open the Gulf and agree to it, which they agreed to and then reversed, I'm talking about Iran now, we were going to start bombing them again. [00:23:57] The president has put that off to give them an opportunity, give Iran an opportunity to put together a proposal. [00:24:07] The president said because the government is so fractured, he was prevailed upon by the Pakistani government to give them more time to put together a proposal. [00:24:22] Once that proposal is submitted and evaluated at that point, a decision will be made as to whether or not to continue to fight, which was supposed to start again tomorrow. [00:24:33] Now, I believe that that condition was poorly phrased. [00:24:45] It says that the ceasefire will remain in effect until Iran has the opportunity to submit April Pulse, which makes it sound like they cannot submit for three months and they'll get three more months to build up their military might. [00:25:04] I think that that's going to be pretty much in Trump's determination as to whether or not, if they don't agree and if they don't negotiate, when he resumes and finishes off what has to be done. [00:25:16] One of the reporters in the Wall Street Journal made it clear, and I think this is true. [00:25:25] That this is now President Trump's war to win or lose. [00:25:30] If this regime is in place six months from now, I think the reporter is correct, it'll be viewed as a loss. [00:25:39] And on the other hand, if they are kicked out, it'll be something American presidents have really wanted to do, but haven't had the, what would you want to call it, the determination to get it done. [00:26:01] So, actually, since the ceasefire in Gaza, Israelis have knocked off another 750 Palestinians. [00:26:09] And yesterday they hit Khan Yunus again, which you remember was a big source of battle between Israel, if there really was a battle by Hamas, whatever. [00:26:23] Hamas was able to mount in terms of a Of some kind of defense. [00:26:32] We offer our condolences really to Senator Warner. [00:26:37] Senator Warner was the former governor of Virginia as well as now a United States Senator from Virginia. [00:26:43] And I think you know him, he's a more prominent Democrat than most. [00:26:50] His daughter, Madison, who was his eldest daughter, had juvenile diabetes and she lived to the age of 36, which is a credit to her. [00:27:02] Courage. [00:27:05] He has two other daughters, Julian and Eliza. === $50 Billion Stolen From Medicaid (03:59) === [00:27:13] But there's a terrible loss for him, and he has our deepest, deepest sympathies. [00:27:20] And he has also our prayers to God to give his family peace with something that is just almost impossible to deal with the loss of your child. [00:27:35] God bless him and his family. [00:27:39] You know, one of the things that's enormously frustrating is when the Democrats keep talking about increasing the amount of spending on whether it's the health care programs or the income programs or the giveaway programs. [00:28:02] Because I know and I've known since Since the beginning of the Great Society, that a great deal of that money is stolen. [00:28:12] And that the level of stealing is remarkably high. [00:28:17] I always use a little shock therapy to get you to think about this correctly. [00:28:25] The budget of the state of New York is more than two times the budget of the state of Florida. [00:28:36] And Florida has about 2 million more people. [00:28:40] Now, how can that be? [00:28:41] How can it be that Florida manages to get by on 120 billion? [00:28:54] And it takes New York about $250, $260 billion to get by. [00:29:07] It's because they cheat a lot more in New York, they steal a lot more in New York. [00:29:13] And it's all happens all over America, particularly, not exclusively, but particularly in Democrat cities. [00:29:23] A couple of examples that are among the most prominent Mayor Bill DeBazio's Universal Preschool Program. [00:29:32] The city has paid out $99.3 million, $100 million. [00:29:39] And they used it to rent 28 buildings. [00:29:42] That was half a decade ago, and none of them has been opened. [00:29:48] What happened to the $99.3 million? [00:29:57] California spent $37 billion to solve homelessness and homelessness is basically during that period of time doubled. [00:30:04] And no one knows where the money went or most of it went. [00:30:11] The state of California has spent $14 billion on a high speed rail and they don't have a single track laid down yet. [00:30:19] They spent $14 billion thinking about it. [00:30:21] You don't think that's kickback money? [00:30:24] Well, then you're very naive. [00:30:26] In Minnesota, feeding our future is drowning in fraud. [00:30:33] The first indication was a billion. [00:30:35] Now we're up to as high as nine. [00:30:39] And more than 200 billion in theft and fraud from the COVID-era relief funds have been located. [00:30:50] And Johnson, Speaker Johnson estimates that about 50 billion a year is stolen from the Medicaid program. [00:30:58] Now, these are numbers that are astounding. [00:31:02] And when you think about how the Democrats want to raise spending and how they want to tax the rich and then tax other people, you say to yourself, what is it for? === Maintaining A Corrupt Government (15:58) === [00:31:12] It's in order to maintain a corrupt government. [00:31:15] And one of the major systemic problems we have in this country is corruption. [00:31:23] It isn't just high taxes, it's corruption. [00:31:27] And when we look at government and the spread of big government, some definable percentage of that spread. [00:31:36] Is for smoke and mirrors, for nothing that's going to aid anyone. [00:31:39] If you look at it this way, if the money intended for the poor in Arlington or other poor areas ever got there over the last 50 years, they'd all be rich. [00:31:53] Instead, the elected representatives got rich because they interrupted the flow of a lot of that money. [00:32:02] So that's something that has to be taken very, very seriously. [00:32:08] If we're going to have any opportunity to really check what the heck is going on. [00:32:23] The situation in Ukraine is also one that has gotten off the main focus. [00:32:30] It's sort of like slipped to the back pages. [00:32:34] But everything that I can tell, slowly but surely, the Ukrainians are making progress. [00:32:42] in pushing back what had been a Russian expansion, modest expansion, but expansion. [00:32:52] So I don't know when we're going to turn back to that negotiation, nor do I know what price, and I do think they have to pay a price, Putin's going to have to pay for assisting Iran in their efforts now to kill Americans. [00:33:14] That's not about Ukraine and Russia, it's about Ukraine and Americans. [00:33:20] Just like when we talk about the Iranians and the American interest in getting rid of the regime of terror, they have killed significant numbers of Americans indiscriminately and on purpose. [00:33:35] And they vow to do it every Friday, if not every day. [00:33:45] Um, so. [00:33:53] If you need any justification for war, it would seem to me that's it. [00:33:59] And I would say, among the structural changes, massive changes that have to be made in the years left with this administration, because it's the only one that does it, and that is to straighten out the corruption and the spending of government money. [00:34:16] The amounts there are more than enough to make up for whatever additional spending these people want. [00:34:26] You just reduce. [00:34:28] The amount of corruption and the money is there. [00:34:32] So instead of New York spending two and a half times Florida, let's say they spend one and a half. [00:34:39] You're not going to have to raise taxes for a long time if we're able to accomplish that. [00:34:44] Money is money, and if it's flowing out, it's flowing out. [00:34:51] William McGurr at the Wall Street Journal makes a very, very dramatic point about President Trump. [00:34:59] Uh, and like every president, it is he obviously will increasingly have more if he doesn't already more and more of a concern for his legacy as he moves toward the end of this one term that he has left. [00:35:13] And, uh, McGuern has said that his administration is going to be judged by this war if it's viewed as a victory or a defeat. [00:35:27] And, uh, I think McGuern is right. [00:35:30] And a defeat means that when you're making that decision, this reign of terror and this government better be gone. [00:35:41] That's victory. [00:35:43] If they wiggle their way through and they negotiate their way to a point where they can continue to talk and they can continue to, then it'll be no victory. [00:35:57] There'll be, in fact, a sense that the president has failed. [00:36:01] And I think that the terms of that decision now are about as clear as they can, about as clear as they can be. [00:36:11] The the looks like the pope has slowed down a little in his efforts against the president, but the president, the president has posed two questions uh, two questions to the pope. [00:36:24] Uh, and these don't necessarily have to have to be considered uh attacks, but those um, But these are legitimate questions that I think the president is asking. [00:36:37] Why does the Pope think it's fine for Iran to have a nuclear weapon and to kill 42,000 unarmed protesters? [00:36:51] When the Pope made reference to these out of control warmongers who commit, the Pope has said he was not referring to the president. [00:36:59] Okay, we'll take him at his word. [00:37:01] I don't see how you can do anything other than that with a Pope. [00:37:05] But the Pope should explain why he has reservations about what his country, still an American, is doing when in fact Iran poses a threat to. [00:37:21] I'm not going to say exaggerated to the continuation of the world, but something similar to that. [00:37:27] I mean, with nuclear weapons, you can do massive catastrophic damage. [00:37:33] Plus, they've killed so many as part of their terrorist regime that the basis for just war against them is about as clear as it can possibly be. [00:37:51] The president poses to the Pope, why does the Pope think it is fine for Iran to have a nuclear weapon and to kill 42,000 unarmed protesters, including the two that we noted yesterday from the MEK, and then the larger group whose pictures and identities we gave to you, [00:38:17] of whom about six of those have already been executed, and any number of others remain. [00:38:24] On in solitary confinement, which is their effective death row. [00:38:30] By and large, the practice that followed is when the regime of terror decides it's going to do torture or it's going to do an execution, they move in solitary confinement for a while. [00:38:42] And then from solitary confinement, you go from bad to worse. [00:38:49] So, It's going to be very, very telling as to whether Iran, in fact, follows through on any attacks on us after the warning about taking ships of theirs all over the world. [00:39:15] Because that's a pretty bold proposition to present to them. [00:39:24] And we'll have to see if they contest it or not. [00:39:29] Or not, right? [00:39:35] We'll have to keep close watch on what happens in the next 24 hours because tomorrow was the day in which everything is supposed to either be decided or we're going to end up with a shooting war back again. [00:39:52] And the president has put that off, giving them time to present something before he has to pull the trigger on. [00:40:02] Doing battle against them again. [00:40:05] And I can't imagine why they're resisting as much as they are when even the strategy of stringing us along is available and they're not taking it. [00:40:21] That's something that we'll have to consider with greater intensity. [00:40:26] We'll see if we can get a few guests to discuss it because it really is important in trying to figure out how this is all going to. [00:40:35] How this is all going to end. [00:40:37] I will tell you that I haven't varied very much from where I was when I came back from Paris. [00:40:45] When I came back, when I was in Paris last night, I came back today on the plane. [00:40:49] And that is that I just don't see how this doesn't end up with more warfare between the United States and Iran and with Israel as our steadfast partner. [00:41:11] Iran is just not making the moves that have to be made to get this resolved. [00:41:16] And it appears as if the country is in the hands of people that are as aggressive and maybe somewhat more aggressive than Khomeini, or at least not as sophisticated in trying to carry things out because Khomeini, I mean, Khomeini was hardly a soft touch by any means. [00:41:46] But he had been in office for so long that he had the security to make whatever decision that he thought was right for them, except the man was afflicted with an enormous amount of mental illness, as are the IRGC commanders. [00:42:04] So that's extremely difficult, just really extremely difficult to deal with. [00:42:15] So we will keep a close eye on what's going on there. [00:42:24] We'll try to get to you the things that you don't get to see and you don't get to hear from elsewhere. [00:42:31] We'll keep in contact with our sources that keep us pretty well informed as to what's actually going on within Iran. [00:42:39] I do believe that over the next 24 hours, whether they follow through on their threat to do something about our blockade or not. will tell us something about the capacity that they have for warfare. [00:42:56] Almost any nation of any substance would try to break a blockade. [00:43:02] And if they don't make an attempt, they have it now for four or five days, if they don't make an attempt to do it, it really means they can't, which tells you a lot about how vulnerable they are to being finished off completely, which would be a great, great contribution to the world. [00:43:22] And I do not understand, and I think that's one of the things that the president was illustrating in the question that he put to the Pope. [00:43:31] And that is, how can you condemn America for trying to prevent an insane body of people from getting control of a catastrophic weapon that can destroy large portions of the world and contaminate it thereafter? [00:43:51] And why isn't this in your calculations? [00:43:55] Because we could sure use that. [00:43:59] Thank you. [00:44:03] So we'll keep posted on that. [00:44:07] I mentioned this on the earlier show, but I'm going to show this to you on this show. [00:44:13] And we don't really have the time to read it again. [00:44:16] I read most of it on the earlier show. [00:44:18] This is a column in the Wall Street Journal. [00:44:21] It's called the Book of J.D., King James Version. [00:44:26] And it's in biblical language. [00:44:29] And it's the. [00:44:34] It's about Trump's crusade war against Iran and also about the problems with the Democrats. [00:44:45] And it is very, very witty and very, very good. [00:44:50] It's by Gerard Baker. [00:44:52] So I'd get my hands on it and read it. [00:44:55] I think you'll find it both very useful as an analysis of what's going on and also extremely funny. [00:45:06] And we need a little younger at this stage, don't we? [00:45:11] And so let's see what happens. [00:45:15] There's a blockade still going on. [00:45:19] China is seeking relief from it. [00:45:22] China can certainly, instead of calling Mohammed bin Jazz, it would make more sense if they called Iran and told them to get on it and clean out that strait and end this war. [00:45:39] I don't know if that would do much good, but when you don't have too many allies left, if the main one who's focusing the money on you calls, it may make a very, very big difference. [00:45:51] So we'll be hanging around New York tomorrow. [00:45:53] Who knows what we can pick up about what's going on here in the Communist Republic of New York, the Communist dictatorship of New York, with Mayor Mandumi in charge. [00:46:09] See what the attitude of the people is, because we got here late and didn't really have. [00:46:13] A chance to ask many, many questions. [00:46:16] Although the little that we did, people are in a panic over this left wing maniac who is a supporter of groups that are extremist Muslim groups. [00:46:32] Let's see. [00:46:34] So we thank you very, very much for listening in. [00:46:37] We're going to ask you, please, please, please, to pray for the people that are on death row in. [00:46:45] In Tehran and now in the other areas of Iran, because the murderous, insane regime is now doing executions even in remote parts of Iran so they can call attention to if they want or not, as they did yesterday with the two MEK people that they executed. === God Given Freedom Universal (03:31) === [00:47:11] I really do think it's time that everyone learn more about MEK because they are a great hope. [00:47:18] And the fact, a great hope of being able to put together a government that will, number one, make peace in the Middle East very, very possible and aid peace in the Middle East, will also aid a modernization and a new rethinking of the Muslim religion that's needed. [00:47:38] And people like Ataturk and some of the great imams of 40 and 50 years ago knew that was necessary, and Iran has set that effort way, way back. [00:47:52] But that'll have something to do with peace all over the world. [00:47:55] So please pray for the people of Iran. [00:47:59] Pray for the people of Israel. [00:48:01] Pray for the people of Ukraine. [00:48:07] Pray for us. [00:48:09] Pray for the people of New York. [00:48:11] And pray for our president. [00:48:13] And that God continue to guide him and give him the strength and wisdom to handle this very, very difficult, unbelievable questions that have to do with our survival, really. [00:48:26] So we'll be back tomorrow. [00:48:30] You come and listen at 7 on Lindell and at 8 on X, and we will have some real spoops for you on New York, as well as what's going on in Iran. [00:48:42] God bless America! [00:48:45] It's our purpose to bring to bear the principle of common sense and rational discussion to the issues of our day. [00:48:53] America was created at a time of great turmoil, tremendous disagreements, anger, hatred. [00:48:59] It was a book written in 1776 that guided much of the discipline of thinking that brought to us the discovery of our freedoms, of our God-given freedoms. [00:49:11] It was Thomas Paine's Common Sense, written in 1776, one of the first American bestsellers in which Thomas Paine explained, by rational principles, the reason why these small colonies felt the necessity to separate from the Kingdom of Great Britain and the King of England. [00:49:31] He explained their inherent desire for liberty, for freedom, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, the ability to select the people who govern them. [00:49:44] And he explained it in ways that were understandable to all the people, not just the elite. [00:49:50] Because the desire for freedom is universal. [00:49:54] The desire for freedom adheres in the human mind and it is part of the human soul. [00:50:01] This is exactly the time we should consult our history. [00:50:05] Look at what we've done in the past and see if we can't use it to help us now. [00:50:11] We understand that our founders created the greatest country in the history of the world. [00:50:15] The greatest democracy, the freest country. [00:50:17] A country that has taken more people out of poverty than any country ever. [00:50:23] All of us are so fortunate to be Americans. [00:50:28] But a great deal of the reason for America's constant ability to self-improve is because we're able to reason. [00:50:34] We're able to talk. [00:50:36] We're able to analyze. [00:50:39] we are able to apply our God-given common
