Rudy Giuliani - The Rudy Giuliani Show: Monday, March 23, 2026 Aired: 2026-03-23 Duration: 58:00 === Negotiations Over Sharge Island (15:39) === [00:01:25] This is Rudy Giuliani. [00:01:26] This is the Rudy Giuliani show, and this is Lindel TV. [00:01:31] I could be the only person on Lindelve TV not at the CPAC. [00:01:37] The CPAC thing. [00:01:42] Probably because I would have flipped a gasket if that guy who's this son of the murdering who ran, who ran Iran into the ground. [00:02:01] Two generations of his family have created considerably the atmosphere that creates the situation that we had to live through during our lifetime. [00:02:14] He also has no other qualifications. [00:02:16] Imagine wanting to be the prince, king, or leader of a country. [00:02:21] And here are your qualifications. [00:02:22] My father was a murderer, and my father was a thief. [00:02:27] And he was good at it. [00:02:28] Well, until he got caught. [00:02:32] And what are you going to do for the country? [00:02:35] Well, I'll work with all the oil companies like my father did to make sure that Britain is happy and everybody else. [00:02:49] And my family is very, very rich. [00:02:51] And the people who support us can be rich. [00:02:54] And the other ones, well, for example, the Kurds, I think the Army should wipe out before I even get there, which is essentially what he said. [00:03:04] But this, Ted? [00:03:08] Yes, sir. [00:03:09] To follow these negotiations, even more so than the earlier Trump negotiations, it is very necessary to have a scorecard and probably an interactive scorecard, not the old-fashioned one, with numbers for the various players. [00:03:26] Don't you think? [00:03:27] I think that's right. [00:03:28] I mean, it keeps changing. [00:03:29] I think that's right. [00:03:31] I don't even know if it's worth going through how we got where we are. [00:03:35] Here's where we are right now, and then I'll back up. [00:03:37] Here's where I think we are. [00:03:39] By the end of the show, we can be somewhere else. [00:03:44] At 5:30 this afternoon, I think, or maybe it was two o'clock this afternoon, there was a red line. [00:03:52] The red line said that Iran had to allow free transit through the Persian, through the Strait of Hormuz, the Persian Gulf as well. [00:04:08] And if not, we would destroy entirely and completely their entire ability to have any energy at all. [00:04:20] We didn't explain how we would do that. [00:04:21] We didn't explain, and there were options for it. [00:04:23] We could have bombed the oil depots that we failed to bomb when we took out the military installation on Sharge Island. [00:04:40] We could have invaded the island with Marines, surrounded it with a blockade, and put a dome over it, really. [00:04:54] It's very, very small, put a very protective dome over it so the Marines would be protected against aerial attack. [00:05:07] We could have just, we could have just done a couple other things. [00:05:10] There are a couple of very unique suggestions that were made in Miranda Devine's excellent column today. [00:05:21] I got to say, showing more creativity than a lot of the negotiators, but unfair, unfair, because we don't know what the negotiators are raising internally. [00:05:34] These ideas may very well have been raised internally, but the way that she raises them, it appears as if they come from Richard Haas. [00:05:47] Now, I've forgotten the second one, but we'll get to it a little later in the show. [00:05:50] But right now, the president, as we were approaching the deadline that he said two days ago, saying, again, if you don't allow complete and absolute shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, [00:06:09] not just for China, not just for India, not just for your pals, not just for Russia so that they can kill Ukrainians, but you've got to allow it for everyone, which almost doesn't include the United States, by the way. [00:06:25] So we're doing this for other countries. [00:06:28] We're going to destroy you in a way that I think you know, Iran, you would be a useless little puppet regime. [00:06:40] And that is to take away all their energy. [00:06:44] All of it. [00:06:47] We think he was talking about Sharge Island. [00:06:50] He certainly was in part. [00:06:51] He could have been talking about something even broader than that. [00:06:53] Because the Israelis have, to the criticism really, of the president, hit some pretty big oil depots of the Iranians, some of which theoretically in the past were thought to have had catastrophic effect on Iran. [00:07:13] But he says that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have now found somebody to negotiate with. [00:07:20] Now, that in and of itself is an accomplishment, since it seems like everybody, I don't know where they found this guy. [00:07:27] Maybe they picked him up off the floor or they took him out of the morgue, but he's a substantial terrorist, murderer, Islamic extremist, sick follower of Muhammad, appropriately with the name Muhammad. [00:07:45] Is there anybody else named anything else there? [00:07:48] Mohammed? [00:07:50] Now, I'm going to make sure I got this correct. [00:07:53] Mohamed Bajer Kwaliba. [00:08:00] Mohammed Bajer Gualiba. [00:08:06] Okay, so Mohammed Bashir Kwaliba is the parliamentary speaker. [00:08:13] And he is theoretically taking a much heavier role here. [00:08:18] And whatever else his role would would entail. [00:08:23] Does it entail something greater even than this? [00:08:28] So this is a heck of a big role. [00:08:30] He is supposedly the ones that Steve and Jared were able to work on and have some positive discussions. [00:08:45] Now, he is a hardliner right down to his toes. [00:08:50] I mean, he has a career with the IRGC. [00:08:54] He's a murderer. [00:08:55] He's a military pilot. [00:08:58] He was the head of the Guards Air Force unit, which means he's got the bloodshed aboard of hell of what Americans on him. [00:09:04] It'd be hard for me to sit at a table with him. [00:09:09] And he's had very, very substantial responsibilities in the government and was very, very, he was back and forth in the good graces of Khomeini, but by and large, was considered a very loyal, loyal guy. [00:09:32] And there is negotiation going on between them. [00:09:38] And exactly what it's going to reveal, we don't know. [00:09:44] The president, therefore, has made a very consequential decision, really, and that is to put off, again, the red line. [00:09:55] And this was a very bright red line that he said, saying that this thing isn't open by five o'clock today. [00:10:04] You're gone. [00:10:06] Well, once again, we passed one of those. [00:10:10] Now, the other times we've passed it, within days, he's attacked the hell out of them. [00:10:16] So is this another head fake? [00:10:19] Is this a real one? [00:10:22] I mean, there's no way to know, is there? [00:10:28] The U.S. military officials have said that they're ready for all possibilities. [00:10:39] Here's what Trump said about it. [00:10:40] If Iran isn't really fully open without threat, the Strait of Hormoz within 48 hours from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various power plants, starting with the biggest one first. [00:10:57] Well, that would be the one on Charge Island. [00:11:00] Thank you for your attention in this matter, President Donald J. I've enzoed them that way. [00:11:05] Now, that was two and a half days ago. [00:11:10] And it remained that way until last night, when the president apparently had a conversation with Steve and Jarrett, and they said that this guy, we think it's this guy. [00:11:20] This is the best guess. [00:11:21] Has anyone confirmed who it is we're talking about? [00:11:24] Well, yeah, it's been, how do we say this? [00:11:27] It's been, well, no, we can say it simply. [00:11:29] It's been confirmed by rather accurate leaks, or to put it that way. [00:11:36] It's been confirmed by rather accurate leaks. [00:11:41] Here's what he looks like, if you want to see him. [00:11:44] Do you have me connected? [00:11:46] We do. [00:11:47] Let's check that question. [00:11:49] So This is the speaker. [00:11:54] This is Muhammad. [00:11:58] Excuse me, right? [00:12:00] Got him up here on the screen. [00:12:03] There he is. [00:12:04] Baguer Galiba. [00:12:08] There he is. [00:12:09] There he is, murderer extraordinaire, negotiating with two Americans. [00:12:16] And we'll see if this gets resolved within the five-day period. [00:12:26] Or, as has happened twice before, while these negotiations are going on, we take out their electrical facilities. [00:12:38] That's what we did. [00:12:39] That's what we did when Israel began the 12-day war. [00:12:43] We were negotiating, and then we decided the negotiations weren't working, and we destroyed their nuclear facilities. [00:12:51] And that's what we did when Israel attacked again and started the present war. [00:12:57] And we started it together with them. [00:12:59] We were supposed to be in the middle of what seemed to be promising negotiations. [00:13:05] Now, the president, do you have the president's other statements on this in which he says these look promising? [00:13:12] Let's see what we have on that. [00:13:17] We'll pull those out. [00:13:19] Is it from True Social? [00:13:20] Or was it something you said physically? [00:13:22] Both. [00:13:24] Let's see. [00:13:25] We have him on. [00:13:28] Did we play? [00:13:31] Did we play the president on the five-day ceasefire? [00:13:35] No, we just showed it. [00:13:37] LT7. [00:13:40] We just showed the text. [00:13:42] Yep. [00:13:43] Let's play LT7, if you can hear us, Jason. [00:13:47] They fought hard. [00:13:48] But we'll see what happens. [00:13:50] I think there's a very good chance we're going to end up in a deal. [00:13:53] And so we're giving it five days, and then we're going to see where that takes us. [00:13:57] And I would say at the end of this period, I think it could very well end up being a very good deal for everybody. [00:14:05] As good as if we went all the way and just literally annihilated the place, which if we don't have to do that, that would be a good thing, not a bad thing. [00:14:16] Well, that is the latest word. [00:14:19] I see no change in it until, you know, until there is a change in it. [00:14:24] The reality that, Mr. President, this is not meant as an insult. [00:14:28] It's meant to be a suggestion of your negotiating strategy and your military strategy. [00:14:35] Twice before, you've made statements like that and bombed the living hell out of them. [00:14:39] So if I were Iran, I wouldn't count on it. [00:14:46] And they're not. [00:14:47] The war is going on. [00:14:48] There is no, it's like the Nate-believe ceasefire in Hamas. [00:14:53] There was no ceasefire. [00:14:58] Before this, they had the Iranians had attacked Diego Garcia. [00:15:04] Since it, they've attacked Israel. [00:15:06] They've attacked Dubai. [00:15:10] I don't know if they've, they haven't opened up shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. [00:15:16] They stopped ships today. [00:15:18] And they let some Chinese, we're not sure what they were, probably Chinese, Indian, or Japanese ships through. [00:15:27] So they conducted themselves in the Straits of Hormuz precisely the way they said they would. [00:15:34] So there's no apparent, there is no apparent evidence of a ceasefire. [00:15:41] Ceasefire, meaning they're not shooting at each other, they're shooting at each other. [00:15:46] And by the way, Israel is shooting back at them big time, Taking out power stations, taking out IRGC headquarters, kind of softening up the Kurds area of Iran, making it increasingly likely that there'll be a Kurd invasion. [00:16:09] So I don't know. [00:16:12] I haven't heard of any material cessation of hostilities because we have a five-day ceasefire. [00:16:20] So it is, in fact, a very, very strange ceasefire. [00:16:25] So I don't know if it's going to continue that way. [00:16:30] Maybe it takes a day for the ceasefire to work out. [00:16:35] Or maybe it really isn't a ceasefire. [00:16:39] Five days, and that would have been from today? [00:16:43] Five days from today. [00:16:44] What do you say? [00:16:46] So I think the attack on the U.S.-UK base at Diego Garcia took place before this recent that that took place in the period of time that the president had set down the red line for today. === Ceasefire Or False Hope (06:08) === [00:17:04] And that created tremendous consternation. [00:17:08] I think it can. [00:17:09] Iran denies that they did that, though. [00:17:13] Remember. [00:17:14] They denied that. [00:17:14] Well, they denied it because they failed. [00:17:18] It turned out, I think they were trying to show they could reach Diego Garcia. [00:17:22] Because if they can reach Diego Garcia, they can reach the UK and France. [00:17:28] In one case, they failed. [00:17:31] They missed their target. [00:17:33] And in the other, it was very, very easily destroyed by an American SM-3 interceptor shooting, like shooting ducks in a barrel. [00:17:43] It's right in the middle of the ocean. [00:17:44] If you can see the map there, so you can see why it would be hard for them to hit that without. [00:17:51] But in fact, because it's not getting the United States Army terribly upset, it's not getting Diego Garcia terribly upset. [00:18:01] But the French and the British are all going out trying to get things for diarrhea because they're afraid that even though they fail, you know, it might work. [00:18:11] It might work. [00:18:12] I mean, if it gets within a thousand miles of France, Macron has a surrender already written out, and he's willing to turn everything. [00:18:21] Notre Dame will become a mosque. [00:18:24] He will turn into a demon. [00:18:28] He has been willing to submit. [00:18:31] He will, as Mohammed used to do, particularly the weaker ones. [00:18:35] He'll slap him around. [00:18:38] He's used to it with his wife, slap him around. [00:18:40] The wife may get a high position. [00:18:42] Who knows? [00:18:42] They may figure she can really do things. [00:18:52] Iranian Foreign Minister Aragachi, of course, hasn't, no one gave him, sent him the message. [00:18:59] And he threatened the UK because the UK is allowing the U.S. to use bases to hit them. [00:19:12] And he pointed to these missiles as, you better watch out because we can reach you. [00:19:18] But as he was doing that, the missiles weren't reaching Diego Garcia. [00:19:23] Oh, but this was a great victory for Iran. [00:19:28] Oh, this is really frightening. [00:19:30] They could reach almost. [00:19:35] They could reach their target almost. [00:19:39] I think it went down 400 miles short of the target. [00:19:42] And the other one, the other one they took down and they let it fly for long periods of time really to observe it so that they could do an evaluation of it. [00:19:52] And I don't want to say anything nasty about their missiles, but one, at least one observer said it looked together like three parts of a missile were put together by rubber bands. [00:20:10] It didn't even look as good as the missiles they were shooting at Israel. [00:20:14] But it scared the shit out of cowardly Europe and had its effect, right? [00:20:22] I mean, when you're dealing with cowards like Western Europe, you. [00:20:32] But the ceasefire, the ceasefire seems to be a ceasefire in name only. [00:20:41] And I don't know why the president puts so much emphasis on it unless it's a fade, a fake. [00:20:51] I mean, also, there was an attack on a Jewish synagogue in London. [00:21:01] Was it today or late yesterday, Ted? [00:21:04] Do you have some pictures of that? [00:21:08] The attack on the Jewish synagogue? [00:21:10] Yeah, we have, oh, it was on an ambulance. [00:21:11] We have a, in London, right? [00:21:14] In London, yeah. [00:21:15] Topic two, subtopic A. [00:21:17] We should have a picture of an ambulance there right there. [00:21:23] There's a charity ambulance in London. [00:21:30] London has a little easier time picking out hate crimes when people are yelling out our Akbar. [00:21:38] We're still, I think we're still working on the, I think we're still working on the guy who was convicted as an ISIS member, came into the university, Dominion University, shot and killed a military member yelling, Allah Akbar, and having all kinds of ISIS things in his possession. [00:22:01] And also, oh gosh, you know, just in case he was a convicted ISIS criminal already. [00:22:07] But they're having trouble with it. [00:22:08] And the district attorney there believes that the real cause is guns. [00:22:17] You see, this guy who got arrested once before for attempting murder on the basis of trying to wipe out Christians and Jews because he's a committed follower of the word, the spirit and the word, the letter of the law of Muhammad. [00:22:36] He would not have done this but for a gun. [00:22:38] It was really the gun, not the Quran, that did it. [00:22:44] Hard to explain the thousands of years of massive murder by people like him following the words of the mass murder of Muhammad when they didn't have guns. [00:22:56] But it's obviously guns, Ted. [00:22:58] I mean, it's not, it has nothing to do with Muhammad encouraging them to kill Christians and Jews in order to create an atmosphere for the last judgment. === Corruption In Airport Bids (06:11) === [00:23:12] Right. [00:23:16] The side effects of this war are having a decided effect on the best military policies to follow. [00:23:31] Maybe. [00:23:33] Maybe. [00:23:37] Because the president goes through a lot of permutations and combinations, has in the last two major decisions, but comes out of the right place. [00:23:45] We'll tell you by the end what the right place is. [00:23:48] I think you know, you know what the right place is. [00:23:52] But the chaos that it's brewing is unbelievable. [00:23:57] The airplane situation is unreal. [00:24:03] Now, you and I are both very familiar with the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. [00:24:12] Having once been a accused felon in the state of Georgia, you would think that I'd have been treated really bad by the police of Atlanta. [00:24:25] Do you know they escorted me every time I came in on the airplane? [00:24:30] And then I always had to spend 15 or 20 minutes bullshitting with them, you know, talking police talk. [00:24:35] And they helped get me escorts down to the police station. [00:24:41] And they told me not to tell anybody. [00:24:44] But I'm not going to tell anybody. [00:24:45] I can't remember who did it. [00:24:47] And they could have been make-believe police officers, Ted. [00:24:50] Right. [00:24:50] We weren't always over uniform. [00:24:52] Of course, this happened at. [00:24:53] Oh, no, no. [00:24:54] And we were there. [00:24:54] Watch when they made a big arrest, remember? [00:24:56] Yeah. [00:24:56] And then we took pictures and congratulated them for the big arrest. [00:24:59] That's right. [00:25:00] And they said that they said, I'm glad you did this because maybe this may be the one arrest where they actually keep the person in prison. [00:25:08] Because my persecutor, you know, the one who was stealing all the money and having an affair with a boyfriend, she didn't prosecute anybody except Trump, me, Mark Meadows, Johnny Smith, all these very dangerous criminals. [00:25:30] So do you know that it went from three to six hours for delays at that airport? [00:25:39] And that was the most delayed airport. [00:25:42] It's also the busiest airport. [00:25:43] Maybe that stands to reason, right? [00:25:46] But Houston Airport, George Bush International Airport, very heavily backed up. [00:25:55] I think four hours waiting time there. [00:25:57] JFK, three hours. [00:26:00] LaGuardia between two and three hours. [00:26:06] Two hours at LaGuardia. [00:26:08] But of course, then LaGuardia had its own tragedy of mass proportions. [00:26:14] There hasn't been a death at LaGuardia. [00:26:18] I think we looked it up until 19 since 1992. [00:26:21] Isn't that correct? [00:26:23] That is correct. [00:26:24] Now, you have to understand anyone ready to jump on Mondani for this one, you can't. [00:26:30] Mondani doesn't run the airports. [00:26:31] The airports are run by a bastardized organization known as the Transit Authority. [00:26:40] The same people who run the subways run the airports. [00:26:43] So you can get, you've ridden on the subways, right? [00:26:46] Right. [00:26:46] Okay. [00:26:48] They are terrible. [00:26:50] They're terrible. [00:26:51] The fact that there are no more accidents there is just because God loves New York. [00:26:56] And the mayors of all the towns, the county officials, they're all left out. [00:27:05] Kennedy Airport is one of the most sought-after places for the exchange of fentanyl, drugs. [00:27:13] Organized crime has used it for some of the, like the Luftwaffe robbery for some of the most massive thefts of the century. [00:27:21] And it's not under the jurisdiction of the NYPD. [00:27:25] I wonder why. [00:27:27] Because the governor of New York and the governor of Pennsylvania have a pact. [00:27:32] And the rationale of the PAC was to share equally the tolls on the bridges and tunnels that connected the city of New York. [00:27:40] Sounded like a good idea, but a corrupt government never stops with a good idea. [00:27:46] A small, sensible program becomes a massive government bureaucracy with no accountability, no control, and tremendous opportunities for cheating and stealing. [00:27:57] That's the New York Port Authority. [00:28:00] When I ran into the city, I worked my backside off, got a report from Wilbur Ross that if you privatize LaGuardia Airport and then Kennedy Airport, they both make profits of something at that time, $95 million and $35 million, and they're all showing losses because the governors and politicians of New York and New Jersey steal the money. [00:28:26] Now, they steal it for political reasons, like to build a park for somebody who's not going to vote against them or build an old age center or build a hospital or build new bridges, interior bridges. [00:28:44] But they also rack up contracts for unbelievable amounts of money. [00:28:51] Any contract for unreasonable amounts of money has kickbacks involved in it, except when I handled the one for Columbus Circle, which had been going on for 10 years and had been the bane and the course of corruption in both gubernatorial and mayoral administrations. [00:29:12] And I just said, no, we'll put it out to bid. [00:29:14] Bid! [00:29:15] Bid! [00:29:20] I can't do a bid. === Post-Crash Responsibility Shifts (08:06) === [00:29:24] How the hell do you think you got that $1 million contribution, you check ass? [00:29:29] I said, I don't give an F how you did it. [00:29:32] One thing I am, I'm in control of selling this. [00:29:35] You're going to get screwed. [00:29:36] I'm going to put it out to bid. [00:29:39] I'm going to pick the best price and the best design. [00:29:47] TSA, TSA is beyond being tortured. [00:29:56] So how much of the accident at LaGuardia is the fault or fault or let's not use fault yet because an Air Canada airplane crashed into a fire truck or a fire truck crashed into an airliner or they both crashed into each other. [00:30:25] The air traffic controller in charge whose name has not been given has to some degree admitted fault in this, I think. [00:30:34] Am I fair about that? [00:30:35] Yeah. [00:30:36] So can you describe this in any more detail than that? [00:30:38] I don't know how much more we have on that. [00:30:40] Well, yeah, let's get the details together. [00:30:43] Maybe we take a short break. [00:30:45] We can get awaiting. [00:30:47] So let's get the details of this plane crash to the latest before we take a break. [00:30:51] That just makes the most sense. [00:30:53] What we know right now is that LaGuardia Airport has reopened just half a day. [00:30:58] Well, now going on almost a full day. [00:31:00] Is Cara in New York or is she? [00:31:02] I believe she's in Washington. [00:31:03] Good, okay. [00:31:05] Canada Air Canada Flight 8646 operated by regional airline Jazz Aviation was landing in New York around 1130 p.m. Sunday when it struck a Port Authority aircraft rescue and firefighter vehicle. [00:31:19] We're showing post-crash footage right now. [00:31:23] 72 passengers and four crew members were on board the flight coming in from Montreal. [00:31:28] The pilot and first officer were both killed. [00:31:31] 41 passengers were transported to the hospital. [00:31:38] So far, two casualties? [00:31:40] Yeah. [00:31:42] What kind of a fire truck was it? [00:31:46] Port Authority Fire Rescue. [00:31:49] Yeah, the New York City Fire Department is not allowed to operate there, nor is the New York City Police Department, except by permission of the Port Authority. [00:31:58] Now, I want you to think about this. [00:32:00] You have in New York City, I don't think people would disagree with this. [00:32:06] The best police department and the best fire department in the country, and some people think in the world. [00:32:13] Now, why would you not use them as the primary source of organizing the fire and the policing? [00:32:23] Now, you say the fire is specific to airplanes. [00:32:27] Remember, the New York City Fire Department handles every fire known to modern society. [00:32:36] We have nuclear reactors. [00:32:38] We have extraordinary complex pharmaceutical companies, engineering companies, some of the most complicated buildings ever put together by man. [00:32:49] And we have a little single-family home fires. [00:32:56] The policing work at the airport is being done by a rather small, not very experienced police department known as the Port Authority Police Department with very narrow responsibility and experience. [00:33:14] And it shuts out, unless it wants it, the best police department in the country. [00:33:23] I wonder why. [00:33:26] Sometime go back and read Wilbur Ross's report, which is timely as hell, written in 1997, 98, about the fortune New York City could make if they privatized the two airplanes. [00:33:39] Privatized? [00:33:40] Oh my God. [00:33:41] Of course we can't do that. [00:33:43] We're communists. [00:33:45] Can you imagine if we said privatize now with Mamdani? [00:33:50] He might have a breakdown, but does it look like it was, does this look like, well, it's an accident, right? [00:34:04] Right. [00:34:05] But the question is, how culpable an accident is it? [00:34:08] Right. [00:34:09] Does it reach gross negligence or criminal negligence? [00:34:12] And who would the criminal negligence be? [00:34:15] I know. [00:34:18] I know you say the air traffic. [00:34:20] I'm not saying it is. [00:34:20] I'm saying it would be. [00:34:22] It's hard to see the don't these two big things see themselves? [00:34:27] Yeah, but the plane can't stop on a dime. [00:34:30] Well, how about the air? [00:34:31] How about the fire? [00:34:32] Not on a dime, but the fire truck has a quicker ability to stop than the plane. [00:34:36] Stop. [00:34:36] How about turn? [00:34:37] Or turn, yeah. [00:34:40] What? [00:34:40] Well, we seem to have. [00:34:43] A plane cannot turn. [00:34:44] I understand that. [00:34:45] First of all, a plane can turn. [00:34:47] It's limited. [00:34:48] Yeah. [00:34:48] It's limited in how much it can turn. [00:34:51] But I would say, without knowing anything about it, but just using common sense, that the plane would have difficulties seeing below the fire truck. [00:35:00] Yeah. [00:35:02] But the fire truck shouldn't have any difficulty seeing the plane. [00:35:05] And then when did the fire truck start approaching the plane? [00:35:08] So the plane might have had a lot of time to see it. [00:35:11] I don't know. [00:35:12] But I do think they rely on air traffic controller who controls the runway. [00:35:18] There might be a different runway control. [00:35:21] They're not looking out the window. [00:35:23] Nighttime. [00:35:24] You know how it is at these big airfields with all the lights. [00:35:26] These fire trucks have lights on them. [00:35:28] Yeah. [00:35:29] No, no, I understand. [00:35:30] But when you're looking at, when you're in the middle of LaGuardia, right? [00:35:32] We've been on there at night all the, I can imagine it can maybe be a little disorienting with all lights and that, right? [00:35:38] All the lights, everything going on around you. [00:35:40] And then the air traffic control, because you have to get permission from air traffic control to cross a runway. [00:35:46] And they got the permission, so they went based off of what they were being told by the air traffic controller. [00:35:52] I agree. [00:35:53] Probably so. [00:35:54] I mean, I am more than willing to be open to who's responsible here. [00:35:59] But I think the air traffic control responsibility lessens when we're talking about these vehicles being on the ground that in the air. [00:36:10] And it lessens when they have visibility. [00:36:13] And the question is: when did they first see each other? [00:36:18] And did they make anticipatory moves to avoid it? [00:36:25] Right. [00:36:26] Well, so I don't, I don't think, I just think everybody should just hold their powder dry and not just blame it on the TSA guy. [00:36:36] He's taking responsibility, but everybody takes responsibility when something like that happens. [00:36:41] Let's see what really, really happened. [00:36:46] So, I mean, the people all over the country are going crazy, From Texas to LaGuardia to Georgia. [00:37:02] And then we saw two wonderful pictures of AOC, right? [00:37:09] Getting on with an escort. [00:37:11] Right. [00:37:12] No trouble. [00:37:13] And also Marjorie Taylor Green. [00:37:16] No, no, Mace. [00:37:17] Mace. [00:37:18] Yes. [00:37:18] Nancy Mace. [00:37:19] Yeah. [00:37:20] Well, I believe, well, should we take a quick break and then go to Carol? [00:37:22] Yes. [00:37:23] Let's take a break. === Liver Health And Energy Boost (03:27) === [00:37:30] If you want to drop extra pounds, boost energy levels, and reduce swelling in your legs and feet, then this message is for you. [00:42:02] And now we are very pleased to have with us Kara Castronova, who is in the confused Washington, where you need a scorecard to figure out where we are on the negotiations with Iran. [00:42:17] But you want to start with that or do you want to start with some of the other crazy that's going to be? [00:42:22] Let me start with Iran briefly, Mr. Mayor. [00:42:25] As you saw, if you could bring that post up that President Trump put up earlier this morning that everybody saw this came out first a thing this morning after that weekend post that he had put up saying that the Iranians had two days to reopen the strait of Hormuz President Trump said I am pleased to report that That the United States of America and the country of Iran have had over the last two days, very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East. [00:42:51] Based on the tenor and tone of these in-depth, detailed, and constructive conversations, which will continue throughout the week, I have instructed the Department of War to postpone any and all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five-day period, subject to the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions. [00:43:09] Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump. [00:43:13] So that came out earlier today. [00:43:15] As you know, Mr. Mayor, President Trump had given a two-day time period for the Iranians to clear the Strait of Harmony before he started bombing infrastructure. [00:43:25] So now the president says they are in talks, and some Iranian officials are saying that they're not in talks, but President Trump is saying that they certainly are. [00:43:34] He did speak to reporters today on the tarmac when he was there in Memphis for that roundtable. [00:43:39] Here is President Trump addressing the situation in Iran earlier today. [00:43:43] Iran's foreign ministry says you're not telling the truth when it comes to productive conversations to end the world. [00:43:49] Well, they're going to have to get themselves better public relations people. [00:43:53] We have had very, very strong talks. [00:43:56] We'll see where they lead. [00:43:57] We have points, major points of agreement. [00:44:00] I would say almost all points of agreement. [00:44:03] Perhaps that hasn't been conveyed. [00:44:05] The communication, as you know, has been blown to pieces. [00:44:08] They're unable to talk to each other. [00:44:11] But we've had very strong talks. [00:44:12] Mr. Witkoff and Mr. Kushner had them. [00:44:16] They went, I would say, perfectly. [00:44:20] I would say that if they carry through with that, it'll end that problem, that conflict. [00:44:27] And I think it'll end it very, very substantially. [00:44:30] We have very much in mind our partners in the Middle East. [00:44:33] We've had great relationships with a lot of them, as you know. [00:44:36] A lot of them were surprisingly hit. [00:44:39] And I was surprised to see it, and so was everyone else. [00:44:42] But we have very much in mind in the discussions. [00:44:47] So the discussions took place yesterday. [00:44:50] They went into yesterday evening. [00:44:54] They want very much to make a deal. [00:44:56] We'd like to make a deal too. [00:44:58] We're going to get together today by probably phone because it's very hard to find a country. [00:45:06] It's very hard for them to get out, I guess. [00:45:09] But we'll at some point very soon meet. [00:45:12] We're doing a five-day period. [00:45:14] We'll see how that goes. [00:45:15] And if it goes well, we're going to end up with settling this. [00:45:19] Otherwise, we'll just keep bombing our little hearts out. [00:45:23] Bombing that little hearts out. [00:45:26] Yeah, interesting gaggle for sure. [00:45:27] And that question came from. [00:45:30] What was that? [00:45:32] What do you make of all that? [00:45:34] I think that the president is just keeping his cards hidden right now when it comes to Iran. [00:45:40] A couple other reporters had more questions about strategy, and he said, you know, he doesn't really want to reveal that strategy right now. [00:45:47] I think this week should be a very telling week, this five-day period that the president is talking about, that he mentioned with these peace talks. [00:45:56] Everybody's praying that this war comes to an end. [00:46:00] So just, you know, with President Trump, you never know, to say the least. [00:46:05] You know, we went from two days ago predicting that there was a possibility that Iranian infrastructure might be attacked, but today he's saying that they're having productive talks and that his peace team is talking to them right now. [00:46:18] So we're going to have to just go by what the president is saying and trust the president. [00:46:23] As you know, some people have come out and saying that Iran is disputing this, what the president is saying. [00:46:28] But, you know, that's what he's saying right now. [00:46:30] So more to come. [00:46:32] Hopefully, we get more questions and more time to ask President Trump questions this week. [00:46:37] And as you saw today, he did get upset with Mike Carter from Newsmax. [00:46:40] Actually, Mike Carter is the one that asked him that question. [00:46:42] I just realized that as we were playing it, that was Mike's voice there. [00:46:46] So I know that he Mike got on the president's nerves today, to say the least, where he said he didn't like some of his questions. [00:46:55] So we'll see. [00:46:56] It's always an interesting time in Washington, D.C., as you know, Mr. Mayor. [00:46:59] And we're in a time right now we're at war. [00:47:02] So anything could happen, really. [00:47:04] And we're all on the edge of our seats. [00:47:06] I wake up in the morning and I open my phone first thing, and I don't know what I'm going to look at. [00:47:10] I have no idea sometimes. [00:47:11] So everything. [00:47:15] So I think in the next week, we should find out a lot more. [00:47:18] And by next week, I think we're going to understand more if the war is going in the direction of coming to a close or more prolonged war. [00:47:25] So we'll find out. [00:47:27] What are your thoughts, Mr. Mayor? [00:47:31] I think that it's the same complicated strategy he's used before. [00:47:39] I can't help but remember that twice before when he struck them, he was having negotiations with them. [00:47:50] And if we go back and pull out the footage, he had made statements not quite as optimistic as that one, but he made optimistic statements. [00:48:02] And they were angry at him for that. [00:48:05] So it is a little bit of his strategy to get him off guard and not let them know what he's thinking. [00:48:12] So I would not, I would not credit all these completely. [00:48:19] I'd say there's a degree of, every single one of them has a degree of flexibility. [00:48:24] Maybe if he gets everything he wants, fine. [00:48:27] But the odds of his getting everything he wants are very, very small. [00:48:32] And I know there are people that are afraid that he's going to back down. [00:48:35] He's not going to back down. [00:48:38] He knows what it means. [00:48:40] He knows better than anyone else what it means and he ultimately backs down. [00:48:45] But he is going to create a situation where they get every opportunity to save themselves. [00:48:51] And then I think he's going to be required to take out their energy infrastructure because they're terribly stubborn people and they're not going to agree. [00:49:00] And they're insane ideologues. [00:49:02] So I think we're headed for some kind of a major destruction of their energy capacity so that they can't ever again block the Gulf of Hormuz. [00:49:15] I seriously doubt they're going to agree to something like that, but we'll see. [00:49:18] We'll see. [00:49:20] He's got a lot of other things to do too. [00:49:23] Remember, I called you before about the Columbus statue. [00:49:25] Did you find anything about it? [00:49:27] You know, I was the Grand Marshal of the Columbus Parade in New York and the Grand Marshal of the Columbus Parade in Chicago. [00:49:36] And I have a great affection for Columbus, and I have played him at costume parties and in various little tiny dramas. [00:49:47] You would make a great curse of a Columbus. [00:49:49] If we could pull up that last post, actually, just so the audience knows what you're talking about, Jason, that last post by Dan Diamond about the Christopher Columbus, that President Trump has now installed the Christopher Columbus statue on the White House grounds. [00:50:01] That would be in the Eisenhower building right next door to the White House. [00:50:05] Trump ended up putting it outside the EEOB building per our photo snapped today. [00:50:10] So those are those pictures there. [00:50:11] You could see that Christopher Columbus statue. [00:50:14] Or this is responding to a post by the Washington Post that President Trump plans to install the Christopher Columbus statue outside the White House. [00:50:22] I haven't seen it myself. [00:50:24] I would have to go look there, confirm that it's there. [00:50:28] Is it the Eisenhower building? [00:50:32] Is it at the entrance between the West Wing and the Eisenhower building or on the other side? [00:50:38] That would be, it doesn't look like the entrance between the West Wing and the Eisenhower building. [00:50:41] I think that's on the other side. [00:50:42] I'm going to walk by when it's, if it's nice weather tomorrow, and I'm going to go see if I could find it or do a little more research on it because I know that this is something you're interested in. [00:50:50] So, and I'm half Italian, as you know. [00:50:52] So, look, this is a great excuse. [00:50:57] I have no idea why they didn't do this for an Italian party, a feast. [00:51:03] A feast? [00:51:04] That would be great in Washington, D.C. Bring some culture to town. [00:51:07] Wouldn't that be great? [00:51:10] The one year that we took it away from the mafia, I ran the San Jannaro Festival. [00:51:15] So I could bring all my boys back from the San Janniro Festival. [00:51:19] The honest one, they'll get all that stuff that we, you know, and none of the danger. [00:51:27] We'll just bring the legit guys, cannolis. [00:51:31] It's a great idea. [00:51:32] Sausages and peppers, like in stands and booths. [00:51:34] That would be great. [00:51:35] I would guarantee that a lot of people in Washington, D.C. would be very happy. [00:51:40] I don't think any of them have ever seen a cannoli or a Zeppoly or any of these things that we're talking about. [00:51:44] Sauses and pepper hero. [00:51:46] This type of food doesn't exist in Washington, D.C. [00:51:49] We couldn't carry the Giulio. [00:51:52] The Gilio is the statue of the Blessed Mother that they put money on. [00:51:57] Right. [00:51:58] That would be interesting to see here. [00:52:02] We could carry a statue of Columbus and put how about we put a statue of Trump up and they put money on it so that he can build his library. [00:52:12] I think you have to be Italian. [00:52:14] President Trump's German. [00:52:15] Maybe we might have to get a statue of you, Mr. Mayor. [00:52:18] You might be more fitting because we are Italian and we'll throw money on you and your statue and you could be here as the Grand Marshal. [00:52:25] I think it would be an amazing event. [00:52:27] And it's a great story. [00:52:31] Baltimore got rid of it despite Nancy Pelosi's Italian-American background and the fact that her father was the mayor and her uncle had a somewhat different reputation, but a very powerful man. [00:52:49] If you catch my meeting in Baltimore, they still took it down. [00:52:55] So far, they haven't taken it down in New York, though. [00:52:58] They haven't. [00:52:59] They almost did, but they haven't. [00:53:01] So, you know, those were scary times, those days of canceling, you know, his history. [00:53:06] And hopefully those days are over. [00:53:09] I think they are. [00:53:10] And I think it's a good sign that President Trump is bringing the statue back, signaling those days of cancellation or over, at least for now. [00:53:17] At least for now, Mr. Mayor, as you know, Democrats could always come in and their shenanigans are to tear down statues. [00:53:25] They had to pull down Caesar Chavez's statues, but that's a little different. [00:53:29] Right. [00:53:31] It came out that he might have sexually assaulted somebody. [00:53:35] So they pulled down his statue. [00:53:36] Yes. [00:53:37] What else do we have going on in the Puzzle Palace? [00:53:40] In the Puzzle Palace, well, everybody's talking, as you know, Mr. Mayor, about TSA and President Trump saying some interesting things. [00:53:49] Now there are ICE agents in airports, as you know. [00:53:51] I don't know if you've been traveling, but a lot of information shared by the White House today on the ICE agents that arrived this morning and are assisting with line management and crowd control. [00:54:02] The White House is saying that the president couldn't stand to watch American travelers suffering from Democrats' political shutdown any longer. [00:54:08] Take a listen to this news clip from Atlanta. [00:54:11] ICE agents have arrived within the hour and they are assisting with line management and crowd control. [00:54:16] And if you just take a look around me, you can see there's a sea of lines. [00:54:19] From the moment you walk into the front door, you can see several long lines all leading back to TSA checkpoints. [00:54:25] Now, over the weekend, the wait times here at the airport was up to six hours for some travelers. [00:54:30] That's because a record number of TSA workers called out on Saturday alone. [00:54:33] More than 3,000 did not show up. [00:54:35] Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens says the federal agents are here not to conduct immigration efforts. [00:54:41] They will support TSA and report to them directly. [00:54:44] We're told ICE agents will work with the exit and check IDs while TSA workers focus on x-rays and other screenings. [00:54:51] Well, it's going to be quite a thing. [00:54:56] Here they have ICE agents at the airport. [00:54:59] Maybe everybody will find out that ICE agents are really nice guys and women. [00:55:05] I would think so. [00:55:05] I know a couple of them actually personally here in D.C., and they are really nice people. [00:55:10] Very good people. [00:55:11] And, you know, President Trump is also, which I thought was interesting. [00:55:15] I'm going to read you this post that the president put out regarding ICE agents wearing masks. [00:55:19] If you could pull that post up, President Trump said, I'm a big proponent of ICE wearing masks as they search for and are forced to deal with hardened criminals, many of whom were led into our country by Sleepy Joe Biden and his wonderful border czar Kamala, even though she never went to the border through their absolutely insane open border policy. [00:55:37] I would greatly appreciate, however, no masks line helping our country out of the Democrat-caused meths at the airport. [00:55:44] I think that's a good choice. [00:55:46] That's a good choice, don't you think? [00:55:48] I think so. [00:55:49] I think that he just says we don't need the triggering. [00:55:52] Obviously, liberals get very triggered by the agents wearing masks. [00:55:55] I think it's interesting because they were the ones who were really pushing masks in general during the COVID era. [00:56:00] But when it came to ICE agents wearing masks, it seemed to be something that was just making them unhinged. [00:56:05] So right now, at such a time of national uncertainty, I think that was a good call by the president regarding asking ICE agents not to wear masks. [00:56:13] And maybe just sort of to reintroduce them to the American public. [00:56:17] They're helpful. [00:56:17] They're there to help TSA. [00:56:19] They're there to help with crowd control. [00:56:20] People just want to get on their flights. [00:56:21] A lot of people, I'm sure, visiting family or traveling for work and just want to get from point A to point B. [00:56:26] And I think seeing the nice faces of smiling ICE agents who are just literally there to assist TSA would be something good for the country. === ICE Agents Without Masks (01:25) === [00:56:34] They'll realize that these ICE agents maybe aren't the monsters that the media portrayed them to be, Mr. Mayor. [00:56:40] Yeah, I mean, it's really very unfortunate. [00:56:42] They're just dedicated federal officials who are trying to enforce a very important law. [00:56:48] Well, we'll be talking a little bit more about that at 8 o'clock. [00:56:52] You got a big week. [00:56:53] You got a big week. [00:56:55] A lot of stuff going on this week. [00:56:56] I think Iran gets resolved, I hope, by the end of the week. [00:57:00] I think. [00:57:01] I think, I think, I hope so. [00:57:03] And I know we're running out of time, so I won't play the 10th stuff from the Memphis, Tennessee roundtable, but that's where President Trump was today. [00:57:11] He stopped over at Graceland because he's a big fan of Elvis. [00:57:13] I'm sure you are too, Mr. Mayor. [00:57:15] So he does a well-deserved hour or two. [00:57:17] He spent there at Graceland. [00:57:20] Well, Ted, maybe one day we'll get to see beautiful Karen again, huh? [00:57:27] We would love to see you here in person. [00:57:29] Yes, Mr. Mayor, come to the White House. [00:57:34] We're going to try. [00:57:35] Well, thank you very much, Kara. [00:57:37] Well, we're going to now go over to X and carry on the rest of our analysis of Iran and all of the other hotspots that we have to deal with. [00:57:47] A couple of developments in Nicaragua, a couple of developments in South America, good ones, bad ones, and stuff being hidden from you. [00:57:54] So, go over to eight on X, and we'll continue in about Four minutes.
