Hello, this is Rudy Giuliani, and welcome back to Rudy's Common Sense.
The State of the Union speech the other evening was delivered at a much more critical time in American history than usual, and I would say that's an understatement.
A European nation with many connections to the United States Of blood, Ukrainian-Americans.
Of values, this fierce desire for freedom, which we're witnessing.
And of friendships, of which I have a number.
And business.
Much of it legitimate, although there is an issue of corruption, which we'll talk about.
Being subjected to a barbaric invasion, really orchestrated by one man, a tyrant, In which the country is not only being invaded, bombed, shooting in the street, but there's no question that civilians are being targeted!
Not collateral damage, not corollary damage, directly!
And unfortunately for Putin, it's on living, bright film!
I saw one today where they hit a hospital.
What are they doing?
Killing civilians!
We call that terrorism in the United States.
We call that war crimes under international law.
And they're not stopping.
They're continuing.
So this State of the Union speech was given as that was going on.
You would expect something to rise to the occasion.
At the same time, Biden's administration is undergoing a massive increase in violence in the United States.
Away we go.
Last year, 16 cities, I believe all Democrat, all run by allies of his, most of them at least, most of them were district attorneys put in by millions of dollars by one of his chief fundraisers, George Soros, DAs who let criminals go free.
These cities are in crisis.
These cities are undergoing, last year, the highest number for murder in their history.
I repeat that.
The highest number for murder in their history.
That is a crisis if you're awake and able to perceive it, or honest and willing to acknowledge it.
The speech did not appear as if it was being given in In the wake of these crises.
And the major burden of the murders in most of those cities are black Americans who are large-majority Democrats and who elected this man to be president.
And he's letting them die in what are now record numbers, without the slightest Objection or intervention by Black Lives Matter.
Obviously, most black lives don't matter to the communists who run Black Lives Matter.
To those of us where black lives really matter, we're extremely concerned about this.
And I dedicated a great deal of my mayoralty to reducing that murder rate in the black community.
And I did it more than any mayor in American history.
So I am particularly Alarmed by what I see and quite aware of the fact that when this happened before in America, it went on for 27 years!
You have to nip this in the bud.
Well, there's many more of those crises we're facing.
Let me address the most imminent one now because people are dying as we speak and
The president's speech Each.
Last night.
You know, can be subjected to all this spin.
You know that happens with State of the Union speeches.
The Republicans get up and say he was brilliant and the Democrats get up and say he was a fool.
And then CNN and MSNBC and I've been on those, you know, defending speeches by Bush and defending speeches by Trump or criticizing speeches by Obama.
Usually it's politics as usual.
We're not in a place where we can have politics as usual.
And we got that last night from a lot of them.
I mean, the greatest speech ever, the best speech he ever gave.
It was inspiring.
You know, our country is at a crossroads.
We may be witnessing another Hitlerian attempt to take over Europe.
This time, you know, with Russia and Ukraine stalking us and China sitting there and waiting to grab Taiwan.
What I just said to you is not a fantasy.
What I just said to you is a very viable hypothesis.
We have a tendency in this country to make the same mistake over and over again.
You know, we were warned of Nazism and Chamberlain ignored it, much like Biden is ignoring this, and only Churchill spoke up.
It reminds me, really, of the difference between Zelensky and Biden.
The president's speech, unfortunately, followed maybe a historic speech by the president of Ukraine, Mr. Zelensky, who delivered it, it appeared to me, in a place where his life was in jeopardy.
And it was well thought out.
It was powerful.
It was measured.
And if you didn't have goosebumps watching him, knowing his life was at risk and he's the top man they want to kill, then you don't have emotions.
But I don't know.
Let's put aside all the spin, all the nonsense about the speech, because there's one definitive report card of this speech that tells you the truth.
Yeah.
For time immemorial, CNN has lied, covered up for Joe Biden.
They covered up and lied about the hard drive, about the crimes, about the election, about Hunter Biden.
I've been on there and listened to the biggest, biggest lies ever told.
They've tried to destroy the reputations of people who are supporters of Trump, including mine.
So this is, this is in my view, a clear, definitive, and if I were Joe Biden, or I represented Joe Biden, I would walk into him and I'd say, boss, my friend, this is the beginning of the end.
It's not the end of the beginning, it's the beginning of the end.
When your sycophantic base comes to this conclusion and actually tells you the truth of how they rig their polls, wow, you are in deep trouble.
So let's take a short break, and when we come back, we will listen to the CNN political director.
And his view of the speech based upon their democratically weighted poll.

This is Rudy Giuliani again, and we'll continue with our discussion of the State of the Union speech and the verdict delivered by his base.
By his sycophantic, until now, corrupt, lying fans, CNN.
This is the political director of CNN, possibly an hour or so after the speech, and describing the poll they had taken.
I hope he still has his job.

That 41%, when you compare it to last year's speech that Joe Biden gave to a joint session of Congress, that's about 10 points lower on the very positive scale.
51% last year, you see 41% today.
In fact, that 41% is the lowest very positive we've seen in about the last 15 years of instant polling after the State of the Union address.
The lowest they've ever seen after 15 years of polling.
And their lying commentators talked about what a great speech it was.
And they probably didn't listen to the science.
Just in case, just in case that's not enough, here's another indication from our friends at
CNN. Oh my goodness, being honest for once, huh?
This is another CNN correspondent.
We've seen over the last year Joe Biden take a slide in the polls.
There's no doubt about it.
He obviously has been on the decline.
There's nothing in this speech that suggests he turned that around.
So, let's say, Very, very.
Hypothetically, I was a political advisor.
Oh, let's say this happened to my good friend Donald Trump when I was advising him.
I would have the courage to go in and say, Mr. President, we've got a real problem here.
I will tell you a rule of politics that I have.
It's when your base starts to turn on you, it's when you start to look for another profession.
It's okay.
It's okay what your enemies say.
I mean, you're never going to convince all of them.
And you got to maybe take a few of them back and, but my God, they're going to lie about you and cheat and do all kinds of things.
And if it really bothers you, this isn't the thing you can do when you can't help your country this way.
But when the people that believe what you believe and the people that you believe in, if you really do have such beliefs, I doubt that Biden does.
He's always been a chameleon.
But when they start delivering results like this, you're at the end of the road.
Unfortunately, he's the president during a critical time and he's taken the country to the end of the road.
And this is another indication of how this president is functioning and what it's saying to the world.
This speech, beyond its inability to deal with the crises that this country faced, also demonstrated once again that this man is not competent to be President of the United States.
And we're just avoiding it where, see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, you know, cover it up.
And this, from the point of view of Gavs, they painted it as You know, one of his better performers, and it was, they must have given him something.
Even with that, he sounded like a meandering idiot.
Again, just a short, just a short, just a short presentation of that, okay?
So let's start with the first one, and then we'll repeat it so you get a sense of it.
Here's the first one, not particularly noted by the sycophantic press.
Putin may circle Kiev with tanks, but he'll never gain the hearts and souls of the Iranian people.
I don't know.
You know, you could say that's a mistake that could be made by anybody, except he makes it all the time.
He doesn't know the name of his defense secretary.
He's gotten countries confused constantly.
He thought he was running for the Senate.
Can't remember his secretary of defense's name.
I mean, this is a pattern.
I mean, I have doctors looking at this.
I mean, I'm not just saying this because I want to be a problem.
I'm saying this for the good of my country.
For whatever reasons, he makes reckless decisions.
People die as a result of it.
People died in Afghanistan because he made decisions I don't believe any other president would have made.
Removing the troops, leaving the civilians in a country with four massive terrorist groups that hate the United States.
You just signed the death warrant of your citizens and then lying and leaving them behind.
No president has ever done that.
He did the same thing now in Ukraine.
He's told the Americans, I'm not coming back to get you.
Where does he come off saying that?
Now, is this because he's generally dumb, has a dumb administration?
Is it because he's mean and vicious?
Is it because he's advised by anti-American people who are trying to destroy this country?
Yeah, probably, some of them.
Or is it because he's mentally defective?
He sure sounds like he's mentally defective.
Now, just in case you think that was the one isolated one, please, I mean, I don't want to be unfair to the guy.
I really don't.
But I care about my country.
They don't.
Let's listen to just a short little montage of his complete Sort of mental infarcts?
Mental breakdowns?
That should be of concern.
You can press the nuclear button.

It's time to see the What used to be called the Rust Belt become the home of a significant resurgence of manufacturing.

I call it building a better America.
There's simply nothing beyond our capacity.

This would be like MacArthur or Patton trying to get you to take the hill saying... The hill.
You know, the hill.
We are in desperate need of a leader.
Zelensky is a leader.
We should follow him.
But we don't.
His words were inspiring.
His words were clear.
You could understand what he was saying.
If you didn't feel emotion, there's something wrong with you.
He's fighting for his country.
He's fighting for freedom.
We used to be The great city on the hill, the beacon of freedom for the world.
We used to be until this person became our president.
Maybe that's why 65% of Americans, Republicans and Democrats said this would not have happened under Donald Trump.
And for all their anger at his tweets, They know this would not have happened under Donald Trump.
64% of them.
They know it wouldn't have happened.
And by the way, there's every indication they're right.
So that 64% is not idle speculation.
I mean, let's look at the historical record.
Under Bush, Putin took territory.
Under Obama, Putin took a big chunk of Ukraine.
And under Biden, it looks like he wants to destroy it.
What did he do under Trump?
I think the word is nada?
Huh?
Zero?
Not yet?
So, I don't know, just an exercise in logic.
Of the four, who's he afraid of?
Of the four, who is he the least likely to have colluded with to make him president?
You get an idea of how phony, dishonest, and crooked the Democrats are who tried to pin that on him?
You want to know why I'm so upset?
I don't like injustice.
So, just by way of comparison, And maybe as a lesson to somebody that's around him and tells him what to do, let's listen when we come back to some of Zelensky's speech and listen to a leader because we don't have one.
Maybe we should take him more seriously.
I mean, the man was an actor. He is a lawyer. He was a comedian. He won a dance contest and he was
thought of as not being capable of running the country. And I went through some of that. And
when I met with his chief of staff, Mr. Yermack, in Madrid, a meeting that has been
lied about, falsified, misrepresented.
I came away with a hope, and I expressed it to the president.
I don't mind telling you.
I said, I think the man has a chance.
Now I was focusing on, could he deal with the corruption?
With all the oligarchs around him trying to chop him up.
And it seemed to me, I wasn't sure, it seemed to me, At least I was told the right things about it.
I can't say that I saw this tremendous capacity for greatness, but thank God for the world that's there.
And when we come back, we'll listen to that, and then we'll take a look at, very quickly, what did the speech cover, what didn't it cover, and where we go from there.

Welcome back to Rudy's Common Sense, and what we're discussing is a comparison of Zelensky's speech of several days ago, followed by Biden's meandering ... whatever you call it.
And I'll show you whatever you call it in a moment.
But first, let's listen to how it should be done.
By a man who's taking on Churchillian qualities and growing, in world estimation, as Biden takes on Neville Chamberlain qualities, which I'll describe to you if you don't know what that means, and is shrinking.
Shrinking to the point where his own base is turning on him, as we pointed out.
So let's listen to one or two excerpts from a man who's Fighting for his country, fighting for freedom, fighting for his life and his family's.
Under a little more pressure than Biden.
As far as a no-fly zone is concerned, it would have helped a lot.
This is not about dragging NATO countries into war.
The truth is, everyone has long since been dragged into war, and definitely not by Ukraine, but by Russia.
That was a request for a no-fly zone.
Rejected because it might create a war.
There is a war!
He's appealing to the country that's the beacon of freedom to save people's lives!
Do you know our failure to do this says that they can intimidate us anytime they want?
You don't think Xi and Putin You don't think he's doing this because he marks Biden as a patsy, as he did Obama, as he did Bush, and as he didn't do Trump, nor would he have Reagan, or me, or anybody who had internal fortitude enough to understand the meaning of this country?
And the meaning of freedom.
And the fact that you stop bullies on day one.

And you will see I am not telling you idle words.
Let's listen to another excerpt here.
And, um, from Mr. Zelensky.
Biden.
I talked to President Biden many times.
I am very grateful to him for all the opportunities and the support.
But they did not hear me.
I told them that Ukraine will fight, will fight more than anyone else.
But we, just by ourselves, left alone against Russia.
We simply cannot manage.
So let's cut out the garbage.
We're helping Ukraine?
That comes from the horse's mouth.
They didn't listen.
Who didn't listen?
Biden!
Who didn't listen?
The United States of America!
You and me!
Who let him down?
The United States of America!
You and me!
He doesn't have ammunition!

Why don't we fly it to him?
Now, this man, this incompetent human being surrounded by anti-Americans
is giving us the reputation of being a country of cowards.
Cowards cannot be the most significant nation in the world.
If we're not the most significant nation in the world, it'll be China.
You want a world with China?
Imposing its values on the world?
The country that's killed more of its citizens than anyone else?

Again, she's pathetic.
So let's listen to one more.

This is terror against the city, this is terror against Kharkiv, terror against Ukraine.
There were no military targets on the square, just like there aren't any in the residential areas of Kharkiv that is being attacked by artillery fire.
The rocket on the square is open in plain sight terror.
It will not be forgiven, it will not be forgotten.
The strike on Kharkiv is a war crime.
How come he has the guts to say that and Biden doesn't?
Of course it's a war crime!
You have to be an idiot not to realize it's a war crime.
And he's talking about a city that means a lot to me, Kharkiv.
Kharkiv, Kharkiv, Kharkiv.
Wonderful city, wonderful people.
They're Russians.
They're Russians, Ukrainian Russians, talking about the city of Kharkiv, which I think I know not as well as New York, but I know most of the streets because I designed an emergency management center for it.
How is it that he's got the guts to call them out as a war criminal and we don't?
Well, that did some good.
Because apparently just a short while ago I received information that the world court is going to investigate him or the Russian action as war crimes.
So what about designating him as a terrorist under U.S.
law and using those sanctions instead of the ones that Zelensky has made real clear And the foreign minister has, aren't working.
The American sycophantic media likes to tell you it's working, but the people who are on the line tell us it's not working.
And you know Putin was ready for the sanctions.
Well, here are the recommendations that I made the other day.
How far we got, and this is without military intervention.
This is everything we could do to help Ukraine, whose freedom is being taken away, whose people are being killed, and where war crimes are being committed.
I understand at the beginning of this the reluctance to intervene, because we intervene too often in too many wars, but that doesn't mean we can become This cowardly little country afraid to intervene ever, no matter what.
Ukraine, the people that tell you that Ukraine is not strategically important, they don't know what they're talking about.
John, it's the breadbasket of Europe.
It's filled with natural resources.
It's a buffer for Russia or against Russia.
Makes a big difference in a country that Possibly is aligned with China to make China the number one country on earth.
You cannot discount the fact that this is a stalking horse for China taking Taiwan.
So let's look at what he's done that I recommended, short of—I can't imagine he'd have the courage to intervene.
And he'd probably do it wrong anyway.
Number one, stop buying oil from Russia.
He's buying oil from Russia.
He's buying oil from Russia because he created the situation to buy oil from Russia.
So he should reopen the Keystone Pipeline, which would mean he wouldn't have to buy oil from Russia.
We'd make money.
We'd deprive them of money.
And we could also give the excess oil, sell the excess oil to the European countries that would like to be free of Russia.
Cancel The Nordstrom pipeline permanently.
Germany seems ready to do it.
Jump on it!
What are you waiting for?
This is what gives you the sense that he's also, because the people around him could recommend this, but they're all compromised in some way.
I mean, these are so obvious.
Make the sanctions airtight.
They're not.
Democrats never do.
I saw the sanctions under Obama.
Then I saw Trump put his sanctions on.
They're the same sanctions.
Iran was doing well under Obama.
Its economy got crushed under Trump.
Same sanctions.
You know why?
Democrats lie and they don't enforce them.
So how about we make the sanctions airtight?
One of the ways to do that, by the way, is to stop buying oil from Russia.
Immediately admit Ukraine to the EU.
Right away.
Right now.
Designate Russia under American law as a terrorist.
Join the prosecution of Putin as a war criminal.
He never mentioned that yesterday.
He didn't mention any of this.
Suspend Russia from the United Nations as a war criminal.
You saw all those people get up and walk out on Lavrov.
You saw that.
Take advantage of it.
Let them veto their own suspension.
Say you can't be a member of the UN while you're committing war crimes, while you're killing children.
Re-educate on Ukrainian criticality.
What that means is stop the lying that it's not strategically important.
It is a perfectly justifiable concern that this is the first, really second, third, fourth step in a massive takeover of Eastern Europe for the benefit of Russia and China.
And as I said, and as a test for China as to what they can expect when they take Taiwan and who knows how much more of Asia.
Help Ukraine just sort of If you can't militarily intervene with troops, you sure as hell can send ammunition.
You can send arms.
They don't have enough guns, and then a lot of them don't have ammunition for the guns.
They want to defend themselves.
help them defend themselves.
With regard to non-intervention for the future, We have to have a much more flexible definition so that we don't signal at the beginning of this, like five weeks ago, that under no circumstances we use our military.
Possibly, possibly, just possibly, if Putin thought He might have to face our military.
Maybe he wouldn't have done it.
Now, I say that, and I don't really believe that, because I think Putin figured out Biden with his cowardly actions with regard to Afghanistan, and then particularly leaving Americans behind to be killed.
Increase our military.
Do not decline the size of the military.
Your 2% increase in the military budget is an effective 3% reduction.
You know what a signal that is?
Again, the sycophantic American press that has lost any ability to protect us, has lost any ability to be the spokesman for the public interest, doesn't note the fact that you've got spending way out of control.
Way out of control!
Except for one thing, the defense of the United States.
A 2% increase in the military is defunding the military.
Do you know the signal that sends?
All of you, not just Biden, all of you who took an oath to protect us.
You reduced the size of the military.
China's Navy is almost, if not the equal of ours.
Change that.
If you love our country, change it.
If you care about our survival as the strongest nation on earth, become Ronald Reagan.
Build our military so strong that we'll never have to use it, because nobody will test it.
And let them know you've got the courage to use it.
Doesn't do any good to have it and not be able to use it if you have to.
Life is not without risk.
When you are unwilling to take risk, tyrants take advantage of you.

And you're doing it.
Same thing with our schools.
Schools are being ruined.
Every year our test scores go down.
Every year other countries educate their children better.
We've got in New York three quarters of the people who graduate don't meet standards.
What kind of future do they have?
You're selling them out because the Communist Teachers Union owns you.
No mention of that.
No mention of how you're going to halt the excessive spending.
That's the reason for inflation.
Never mentioned China?
That's the country who sent COVID all around the world to kill us.
You know, the one you've been lying about with the laboratory and the one that gave you The bare minimum documented by the Schweiker book, recently documented by the Schweiker book, go look at the documents, documented by the Schweiker book, gave your family of 13 to 14 million, bare minimum, of which you got about 50%.
I know the liberal media won't cover it, but could this have something to do with how you're compromised with China and you didn't mention China?
This is a time when you don't vote as a Democrat or a Republican.
You vote as an American.
And you vote for whether you'd like to see your country survive as it is.
They're on their way.
Well, they have made us a socialist country.
When you look at the distribution of wealth, you look at 60% plus don't pay taxes, the dependency already created and the dependency he wants to create.
The fact that there are more jobs than people taking them because they make more money for not working, the infiltration of our school system and the deterioration of our education, the destruction of our heroes and our history, the gross misrepresentations about our history and the false attacks they make on their enemies.
Oh, my goodness.
I mean, we're well along to being An authoritarian state.
We're not totalitarian yet.
And the whole COVID experience was an experience of Democratic governors, you know, being minor little führers.
Mandate, mandate, dictate, dictate, mandate, mandate, dictate, dictate.
Never persuade.
50 years of Democrats in Chicago and people are being murdered there like it's a war zone.
And no mention of the invasion of the United States at the southern border.
That's created a record number of deaths of fentanyl.

And I think the need for us, for me and for you, getting out the truth has become greater and greater.
So I would ask you to tell your friends and relatives and everyone else to pay attention to Rudy's common sense, because I'm going to give you the information critical to your survival that you're not getting from the crooked media, crooked Democratic Party.

Just because they want to live a free life.
There's corruption in Ukraine, and there surely is, and no one knows it better than I do.
Like other countries, even though it may be more, it certainly doesn't affect most of the people of Ukraine.
Most of them are God-fearing, educated, good people, who have made fine Americans.
They're like you are.
They have your values.
We can't let them get slaughtered.
Not if we want to remain the beacon of hope for John Winthrop's or Ronald Reagan's great city on the hill.
I want us to be that.
I want us to be that for my son, Andrew, and my daughter, Caroline, and for my granddaughter, Grace, and my daughter-in-law, Z, who comes from Lithuania originally.
I want that for you and for your children.
I want us to pass on a better America, don't you?
