Hello, this is Rudy Giuliani, and I'm back with Rudy's Common Sense, and today we have with us a very special guest, David Harris Jr.
You all, of course, know David.
He's been on before.
He's got his wonderful own podcast that I know you listen to and pay a lot of attention to.
He's an author.
He is a speaker, a frequent speaker for numerous groups, including Liberty University, the Falkirk Center, and the Freedom Rally in Grand Junction, Ohio, and his book, I highly recommend why I couldn't stay silent, which is the reason why you shouldn't stay silent.
Could be a really good motivator for you.
And there's a lot I want to talk to David about, um, because he knows a lot about many, many things.
So how have you been David?
Mayor, my brother, I've been amazing.
How have you been taking shots left and right from these political operatives that just want to discredit and disbar and just dis, Disengage you from the fight, but you're still fighting.
You're darn right.
I mean, I know why they're doing it, so...
You feel like you're doing the right thing, it gives you great, great strength.
And the more they do it, the more I realize how dangerous I am to them.
I mean, I did come up with the hard drive.
They know I'm the one who got it and put it out.
I mean, the Post published it, but I got it for the Post.
Really had to talk them into publishing it.
So they know that I know a lot more about them than they know about me.
So they're doing everything they can to try to make up a crime.
They've been trying for two and a half years.
It's what they're doing to the president.
I call it an investigation in search of a crime, or in search of a liar, if they can get a liar somewhere.
But you know, I was- Well, we're praying for you, brother.
My audience and my family, we pray for you all the time.
I know you do, and it helps.
Believe me, it helps.
So this weekend, I was surprised.
I shouldn't have been, but I was somewhat surprised at the comments of Cori Bush Freshman congresswoman all of a sudden taking off after the Declaration of Independence, taking off after the 4th of July, and basically pronouncing that black people aren't free in America today, not just back at the time of the Declaration, but today on July 4th,
Well, Mayor, I think you had said it leading up to this, we were talking a little bit about it, and I think she's A, I think partially, she's just trying to fit in with the squad.
How crazy and lunatic can I sound to fit in with the likes of AOC, Rashid Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar that absolutely have a disdain for this country.
I think she's trying to make herself a little spot there on their squad.
And secondarily, I think she's speaking to the crowd of unfortunate individuals that have believed the propaganda that a lot of the schools have been pushing out as far as hating this country, hating capitalism.
And too many people out there, young people, they don't actually understand what freedom is.
They don't realize that they live in the freest country in the world.
They don't understand that if we push things closer to socialism in every country that's tried it, Your liberties, your real liberties are stripped away.
The government micromanages pretty much every aspect of your life, and they don't get that they're actually free.
So for Cori Bush, a woman that is estimated net worth is over one or two million.
I actually saw one article that said it was over, her net worth is over seven million.
I don't know what it is, but she's an elected official in Congress.
She's very wealthy.
And for her to say that people aren't free, It's insane, Rudy.
It's absolutely insane.
And then she goes on to say that she wants to end the war on drugs.
End the war on drugs?
My goodness, drugs is robbing us, both white and black, of a generation of young people.
However we do it, we have to find a way to reduce the number of kids that are taken away from us by drugs.
Is she proposing that everybody just use drugs?
Again, one of those statements that when it's coming from somebody that it seems to be pretty often on the Democrat Party that say things that just don't make sense unless you see it through the lens of making everything about race.
If she's saying that all Blacks are the drug dealers, then she's saying end the war on Black people.
Again, it's like Planned Parenthood.
These Democrats with their linguistics, they always have a way to try to turn and shift the narrative Uh, and put it into something that sounds good, but I mean, ending the war on drugs doesn't even sound good.
So she went off a rocker there, but they try to make everything about race.
And instead of making it about what it should be, we're all created equal.
Our constitution acknowledges that, admonishes that, and says that every single one of us have the life, the right to life, liberty, and pursue happiness.
And we do.
So only the individuals that don't understand freedom, I think, understand, or even think they may understand what this woman's saying.
But it was a total flop.
I mean, I don't know who would vote for this woman again when she's slamming the 4th of July, slamming the United States of America, and then saying, end the war on drugs, when so many millions of people around this country have had to suffer through loss of loved ones and relationships because of drugs.
It just doesn't make any sense, Mayor.

We've got a lot more questions for Dave.
Well, she did receive a lot of praise from the squad.
AOC and Tlaib and Omar were quite happy and whoever else they've kind of brought in.
No comment at all from the cowardly Democrat leadership.
I mean, you could say any, I mean, you could probably say, let's go to war against America, and Schumer and Pelosi would just go, don't say anything.
A couple of Democrats did disagree, and of course, Republicans, but then across the country, Even though she's getting quite old, Maxine Waters couldn't keep out of it.
Maxine the instigator.
Last time we heard from her, she was instigating a riot in Brooklyn, Minnesota, right?
And affecting the case so that the judge had to admonish her to keep her big mouth shut.
And she might have gotten that case reversed, by the way.
There is a chance That a superior court could say that that fatally infected the jury.
I don't think so, but they sure are going to argue it.
But I mean, so she's telling us, she's telling us that the Declaration of Independence, so what, equal, only white men were equal.
That's what they wrote in 1776.
They weren't thinking about us then.
But we're thinking about us now.
Now, as usual, she's historically incorrect.
The debates about the Declaration of Independence included some very, very strong debates about slavery.
And the one that they attacked the most, Thomas Jefferson, had actually attempted to end slavery four years earlier in Virginia.
And if you look at the first draft that he wrote, he put language in it so that we could stop the slave trade.
And he accused the king of stopping the country from passing that legislation.
That was all in a paragraph in the Constitution, the Declaration rather, that he and Jefferson and Adams argued for.
They had to take it out In order to get the two final votes for a unanimous vote.
So the idea that it wasn't from the very beginning a very, very troublesome issue that bothered people, even like Jefferson.
Maybe they didn't have the courage, the foresight to go further, but they understood.
He called it a moral depravity.
He calls slavery a moral depravity.
He used to say, he had a great saying about, I fear for this country when we have to face the wrath of God over what we are doing.
So, putting those words, all men are created equal.
He knew what he was doing.
He was putting a poison pill in.
You look at it and say, oh, all men are created equal?
But not those men?
And then women?
So, okay.
But to say that now, Nobody's concerned about it.
My goodness, I mean, you look at all the legislation since the 1960s and there's a case now brought by Asian students against Harvard University that they are discriminated against in favor of black and white students.
And they're probably right.
They're probably right.
They now have to do four times better than the black and the white students because Harvard doesn't want to be too Asian.
So, I mean, at this point, and at this point, African Americans, as a result of making up for things, do have a lot of benefits and a lot of power within these laws.
So why fool people?
Why not just tell people the truth?
I mean, we had a terrible history.
We overcame it.
We're on a pretty good road right now.
And the pretty good road needs improvement.
Yeah, because they don't want to improve it, Mayor.
They want to tear it down.
Everything that's pushing right now from BLM's promotion and absolute war on the streets of America over the last 12 to 18 months, I mean, each time really right before elections, and it's just continued.
This one.
CRT now is basically the next level of that to push and indoctrinate our young people.
We've got to understand that critical race theory makes race the lens through which its proponents analyze all aspects of American life, and it underpins identity politics on the ongoing effort to reimagine the United States.
And when you think about reimagining something, we've heard that phrase, reimagining policing from the left, from Democrats, and everywhere that they've tried to reimagine police or defund police or lower The support for police, it's wound up an absolute disaster.
Some cities are actually begging now for more funding for police because the crime has skyrocketed.
Shootings have skyrocketed.
Crimes of a violent nature and carjackings and everything else have all gone through the roof.
And yet this same group now is talking about reimagining the United States.
Mayor, they want to just burn it down.
I truly believe their ultimate agenda is just the destruction of this country.
And I believe it's because the puppet master that's pulling the strings behind the scenes is Soros himself.
And these are just different layers and different arms of his attack on this country.
But it's very alarming to see how many teachers and the teachers union, 2.3 million teachers that are vowing to teach critical race theory.
Which is literally teaching kids to be racist and to look at each other, look at other people based on the color of their skin and not on the content of their character.
And it's a very slippery slope, Mayor, and it's one that we better wake up to and get ourselves away from very soon.
So what's the connection for people that might not quite understand it between critical race theory and then the New York Times 1619 Well, yeah, the 1619 Project and Critical Race Theory tries to make the case that everybody, every white person is racist, whether they understand it or not, whether they believe it or not.
And such as the, because of the history of this country, the predominant, originally the predominant Uh, English, Caucasian, uh, amount of founding fathers, uh, and people in this country that built everything.
They just say that the entire system is racist.
They say the entire structure is racist.
That, uh, the rights that this country has made, uh, against the wrongs of slavery doesn't count.
Uh, to say that we're not a free country and to say that blacks aren't free, like Cory Bush said, it's just ridiculous.
This, this, this country has afforded More opportunities to the black community, Hispanic community, to any community based on their efforts, not based on the color of their skin.
And unfortunately, CRT and these teachers unions, they're going along with literally trying to teach that everybody is racist and that you need to pay attention to color.
and not character. And it's something that if we don't get into our local school boards,
you know, this has been brewing for a while, Mayor. This has been brewing for a while.
And individuals in school boards and school board superintendents and supervisors,
they have been voted in by individuals that either the patrons, the citizens of those areas
aren't understanding.
They're not aware of who they're voting for.
And now these people are in positions of power to okay, give the approval of what comes in for our kids.
And we've got to take back our school board elections.
We've got to take back the positions of power and authority in the local elections.
To make sure that we actually have a United States that we all want to live in and get to live in and enjoy the freedoms that we currently have.

You know, I think an awful lot of people weren't paying enough attention to this.
So I mean, I can remember, I can remember 10, maybe even 15 years ago.
Even when my children, not so much when they were in grammar school and high school, but when they were in college, I can remember their telling me about teachers that seemed to be preaching and indoctrinating.
And then I can remember friends telling me about their children hearing these strange things in school.
Also about sexual, you know, very young children being asked to examine Do they really think they're boys or girls?
I mean, it frightened the heck out of me.
I mean, you take a six-year-old, they don't know what they... Are you a boy or a girl?
Well, it's a pretty good way to tell.
The traditional way to tell.
But, I mean, they're very, very... They were very delicate at that point.
I mean, you could just... So, I would hear these things.
I almost didn't believe them.
I almost thought they were parents overreacting.
Now, in the last two to three years as it comes out, they've gone pretty far already in ruining our history, setting up sex education programs that appear to me to be extremely dangerous for the mental health of the children, close to child abuse.
So the way to fight back has to be to get control of these school boards, doesn't it?
It's at 100%.
It's absolutely what needs to take place in order to stop this stuff.
In certain school districts, they have approved this LGBTQ plus curriculum for five-year-olds that are literally seeing pictures of the private parts of boys and girls, and then it explains different sexual encounters, experiences.
It's disgusting to I don't even think that this is being taught to five-year-olds that should be just trying to learn their ABCs and learn how to be friends with their fellow students.
But these are all plays right out of the Communist Manifesto.
Rules for radicals, a way to destroy a country from within itself, how to topple a country without war.
It's literally what's opened the door.
What we've opened the door to is getting people in positions of power in local elections that are okay with this Marxist driven
ideology that is all about the destruction of the United States of
America.
And we've got to take back our local school boards.
We've got to take back our local elections.
We've got to make sure the people that we're putting in to represent us
actually represent America and not some Marxist ideology that our country.
Yeah, I think that's the thing that we didn't realize as we should until the last year or so.
This isn't just Helter Skelter and a few liberal ideas and some crazy liberal ideas.
There's a whole plan to this.
There's a plan.
You can go back and read it kind of in modified form 150 years ago, 100 years ago.
You can go look at Saul Alinsky 50 years ago.
Or the fact that, you know, Black Lives Matter.
I don't know how much it was about Black Lives.
I mean, Black Lives Matter was founded by three communists who were very, very radical lesbian activists.
It seemed to be that their real cause, Celeb, seemed to be sexual politics more than... And then all of a sudden, the situation of Ferguson happened, and they got a lot of attention as Black Lives Matter.
And then when you look at their manifesto, There's not an awful lot about black people.
There's a lot about education, indoctrinating people, about taking property away from people and giving it to other people.
There's a lot more about sexual politics and communism than there is about protecting black lives.
I mean, I've spoken, and I'm sure you know this better than I do, I've spoken to several former Black Lives Matter people who left.
And one left over the fact that they wouldn't fight for choice in education, that Black Lives Matter caved into the teachers union.
And you know, 70% of African American parents want choice.
And every African American Democrat politician votes against it.
And he felt, well, Black Lives Matter was going to fight for it.
So I think you, I think you recognize something, but you recognize this a long time ago.
Unfortunately, I think it's just beginning to be seen.
And I hope this is really going to make a difference in the way people react to it.
Yeah, well, we the people have to understand that we hold the power and whether to even have our kid in school or not have our kids in school.
My kids are grown.
They're not school-aged kids any longer.
They're young adults.
But I tell you what, you better believe that if my kids were in school, I'd want to know every aspect of the curriculum that they're learning.
I'd want to know what they're going to learn for the entire year.
And if any of it showed any shred of critical race theory or any kind of pro LGBTQ+, which is in my opinion, as you said, child abuse, to try to get a child's mind to even talk or think or look about sexual orientation, sexual positions, and sex anatomy, it's child abuse.
If the school that I had my kids in had a shred of any of that in it, I'd yank them out.
They'd be gone.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, I know parents, white and black, who have had to do that.
And didn't realize it had been going on for about two years.
It wasn't like it just started.
A lot of it came to their attention because of the instruction at home.
And they would actually be able to hear it on television and say, what?
What are you teaching my kid?
Whoa.
And then the other one that gets me with Maxine Waters is she went on to tweet that 17 states have enacted voter suppression laws.
She's talking about laws, first of all, that are less strict in New York.
She wants to get rid of a strict law.
She'd get rid of one in New York in a Democrat state.
But basically what she's objecting to are people identifying themselves.
What is this thing about black people can't figure out how to get identification?
I've seen interviews with black people in Harlem where they go absolutely crazy angry that somebody thinks they can't get identification.
Yeah.
Well, again, it should be understood for what it is.
It's racist.
But since it's coming from a black lady, it's like, well, that's Aunt Maxine.
Well, no, she's Mad Maxine.
You shouldn't be listening to her.
Even Joe Biden said it.
Joe Biden said the same thing.
I mean, folks not having accountants, not having tax professionals that they can talk to, and not knowing how to use the internet.
It's so crazy to me.
They want to make everything about race, and they continue to demean black people, demean the black community by saying that we can't get IDs.
It's just, it's so disgusting that I really hope, the silver lining, Mayor, I really hope is that the level-headed Americans that are out there, that are hearing this nonsense, are saying, you know what, they're sounding a heck of a lot
more like a party that I want to have nothing to do with. And hopefully they take a chapter, a
page out of Ronald Reagan and say, I didn't leave the Democrat Party, the Democrat Party left
me. Because they're leaving so many, you know, sensible people in the dust with their derogatory,
demeaning jargon. And they're doing it pretty much every single day. Yeah, I think about Vernon
Jones, who's running in, who's running in Georgia and Vernon over the last two years.
I've gotten to know him and he got pushed out of the Democrat Party.
He can tell you exactly he can tell you exactly, you know, one position after another.
Then he woke up one day and said, what am I doing?
I'm a religious man.
So I got problems there to start with, with abortion.
And I'm watching the abortion rate in the black community become catastrophic.
And and now I've got I've got a party that wants to teach people not to work.
Looks like it wants to set up a dependent community that they can just take advantage of.
But I mean, that happened to me 30 years ago.
I was a Democrat.
Woke up one morning and said, I don't believe what they believe.
What am I doing here?
This is cultural. 97% Of the people in Georgia, white and black, there's no difference between the two, have identification.
Among other things, you need identification for welfare.
So poor whites and poor blacks have identification.
In fact, they almost all have identification because they get it in order to get their food stamps, welfare checks.
So actually, there's probably about 3% of the people that, through negligence or whatever, don't have identification.
And it probably helped them a lot.
Not just for voting, but for traveling on an airplane and getting into buildings, if you got them identification.
But it's a very small little percentage of people.
It's not particularly white, not particularly black.
Yeah, and people who drink alcohol, they've got to have an ID.

So, where do you see this going?
How do we get beyond this?
I mean, we had that psychiatrist, Akuna, an Indian woman.
She's a New York psychiatrist who gave a lecture at Yale University saying that she dreams about killing white people.
If she dreams about killing white people, maybe they should incarcerate her for a while, like in one of these places where they could evaluate her for insanity.
She's giving a lecture to a bunch of doctors at Yale University, and she says she dreams about killing white people.
And she is, like Maxine Waters, like Corey, she's a multimillionaire.
She came from a very wealthy Indian family.
She went to private school.
She's a very successful psychiatrist.
I don't know her net worth, but it's well over a million dollars.
Waters is another one who's, you see pictures of Waters' house, it's worth $4.1 million, that alone.
Her husband has made all kinds of questionable money, just like all these Democrats.
They end up being in office for 30 years.
They never earn more than $100,000 plus.
And then they end up being worth, you know, $10 million.
Sort of like just a miracle, kind of a miracle that happens.
Dianne Feinstein, I was in Lake Tahoe a couple of weeks ago celebrating my birthday.
And saw a post that Dianne Feinstein was putting up her $41 million Lake Tahoe estate.
She was putting it up for sale.
$41 million, just one of her estates that she doesn't even live in.
Now you've got a career, lifelong Democrat politician.
Where'd she get that money?
I didn't ever hear her selling any books or build any businesses outside of maybe back in deals where she knew some things.
It really makes you wonder where these people are getting their money.
But the interesting thing as well, Mayor, You're pointing out all these individuals that have all these means yet still say our country is racist.
The thing that I hear and feel that I hope Americans are picking up on is that it's colorblind.
And what is colorblind?
Evil.
We are in a spiritual battle right now and the evil that is pervading through people, it doesn't matter what color they are, it is all set out to seek to steal, kill, and destroy, and bring division.
And that's what it's doing.
And we've got to start identifying everything that is breeding division,
and we've got to step away from it.
We've got to do the opposite.
And we better get up and enact and stand up for our freedoms, our rights,
and stand up in our elections to make sure that locally and statewide, the people that are voting on laws
are individuals that we actually want representing us.
Yeah, there's sure nothing racist about corruption.
Nothing racist at all.
I mean, Maxine Waters is just doing what Pelosi did.
I mean, Pelosi owns, I believe, the biggest and the richest resort in Northern California.
Her husband and her son have made millions.
Hundreds, I think, yeah.
Yeah, and doing basically what the Bidens did.
And we have it in the White House.
We have a family that for 30 years has been selling his office.
They made millions with a son who's spent most of his life being a joy addict.
And they just kind of farm him out.
And now there's a recent revelation by Miranda Devine, which I've known about for some time because I have the hard drive, that 50% of the money goes to Joe.
That money's not- 50?
50%.
Wow.
That's not, that's not, and that's a text.
By Hunter to his daughter.
The text goes something like this.
He's like annoyed.
I've been doing this for 30 years and I don't get any respect.
I don't get any respect.
I've had to take care of the family expenses for 30 years and pop still requires me to give him half of my salary.
So what's that?
30 years of?
All the jobs he has looks like jobs that his father got him.
They get real close to people who want to influence Joe.
Joe then does things to favor those groups.
But Joe says, well, I never knew about the connection.
It's just an accident.
But now all of a sudden it takes on a different meaning if he's getting the money.
If he's getting the money.
And of course, nobody's ever bothered to look at who bought Joe's houses.
We do know that Hunter has paid a lot of the bills.
So, I mean, they just keep, you can't say it's racist.
If the black politicians are crooks, they learned it from the white politicians, right?
Their problem is being politicians, not being white and black.
That's exactly right.
The swamp is real, and it's dirty.
The other good thing that I notice is, and I see, I talk to you, and I talk to Vernon, and there's so many, so many very, very knowledgeable African-Americans, white, not just whites, but African-Americans, women, men, different backgrounds, Am I fooling myself, or is that number growing?
It seems to me to be really growing.
I absolutely think that it's growing.
Yeah, I absolutely think that it's growing.
I think that there's a lot more people that are waking up to the propaganda machines that is the liberal arm of the Democrat Party, the liberal left-leaning mainstream media.
There's people waking up to it.
They continue to see the same things.
It's like, look at CNN's ratings.
I think they've tanked 70% Since they stopped, uh, since Donald Trump's been out of office, uh, they've got no substance.
They have nothing to talk about that actually is meaningful other than, uh, you know, orange man bad.
They still try to capitalize on that.
Uh, I think that Americans, there's a lot more sensible, uh, courageous Americans of all backgrounds out here in this country.
We are what makes up America.
We're what makes America great.
And we are waking up.
And, uh, that's, that's a beautiful, that's a beautiful sign of things to come.
Now, one last thing, because you mentioned what I've gone through and all that.
It's hard to do what you're doing, David.
Or Larry Elder.
I don't want to mention anyone.
There's so many to mention, I don't want to leave out anyone.
Because there is rejection.
in what remains of the hard left.
I mean, they try to call you all kinds of names.
They try to investigate you in all different ways.
I mean, you're very dangerous to them.
And hopefully, as the numbers grow, that'll lessen.
But I really have great respect for what you've had to do because, you know, 10 years ago, I don't know how many people I could have gotten who were black that would talk about this.
They would know it, but they'd be afraid to talk about it.
But by some of you going forward, I think it's opened the door.
I hope so.
Well, I hope so.
I think we all have a role to play.
We all have a part that we can play.
I'm thankful for the trailblazers like Larry Elder, like Thomas Sowell, so many that have paved a path for us so that we're not the only ones.
And I'm so thankful for individuals like you, Mayor, that have stuck in there that have held your arms out to everybody
when they speak truth, when they speak facts, and when they are passionate about
believing in the best of this country.
So, you know, it's a connection that we all must share.
It's a connection that we share together in understanding that we are one people.
We're all made in the image of God and that we've got, you know, we've got one common goal and that's the best that we can make this country for all of us.
And that's not being racist.
That's, you know, putting our character out there.
And making sure that we're trying to speak with truth, speak with facts, and love our neighbors as ourselves.
And that's what we're all trying to do.
