Every year, Congress gets the month of August off.
Most should probably take that time to go back to their communities as to which their constituents voted them in.
Instead, our freshman congressmen and women along with leaders take a trip to Israel to meet with their leaders and their people.
Why?
Israel says so.
But this year, the situation has gotten a little...sticky.
A week before the August break, our congressional representatives passed a...
Symbolic bill, an anti-BDS bill.
Three individuals voted against that bill.
That would be Representative Omar, Representative Tlaib, and Representative Ocrazio-Cortez.
Now, as we all know, anytime anyone is critical of Israel, not only does it spark international headlines, but it's talked about for weeks.
This incident is no exception.
Now, all of this hubbub came to a head today when Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the three who voted against the anti-boycott, divest, and sanction bill would not be allowed entry into Israel due to their existing laws that state, if you do support a boycott of Israel, you cannot go into their borders.
This decision has sparked much controversy with the well-known AIPAC group condemning this decision by Benjamin Netanyahu, but in addition, Donald Trump himself praising.
The decision?
Saying it would show great weakness if Israel allowed Representative Omar and Representative Tlaib to visit.
Now, Ocrazio Cortez will not be attending the trip in any form.
However, Rep.
Omar and Rep.
Tlaib are planning a trip independent of the Apex trip to Israel.
Now, the controversy surrounding this trip has even prompted our own State Department to revise what it believes is actual anti-Semitism.
Let's take a look at what was added.
So what we have here are two of the same documents, both from the Department of State, both defining contemporary examples of anti-Semitism.
The most recent version of this document does add this line drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis which Seems to be a reactionary inclusion due to some of the rhetoric that's being implored by not only Rep Talib and Omar, but also O 'Crazio Cortez.
I get that, but...
Let's go ahead and take this opportunity to read all of these examples of anti-Semitism.
So now we're over here on the state.gov defining anti-Semitism page, and we'll just read it from the top.
Contemporary examples of anti-Semitism in public life, the media, schools, the workplace, and in the religious sphere could, taking into account the overall context include but are not limited to...
Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion.
2. Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective, such as, especially, but not exclusively, the myth about a Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government, or other societal institutions.
Okay, so something like this would be anti-semitic.
It's a chart, and all it does is it charts the, what would you say, ethnicity of individuals in the media.
They list the president, the CEO, founder, owner, vice president, chairman of Universal Studios, ABC News, CBS, CNN, Facebook, Yahoo, it goes, the whole works.
And what you can see down here is that if it's green, they are...
Caucasian or white.
If it's blue, they're non-white.
And if it's red, they are in fact Jewish.
So I guess this would be an example of anti-Semitism.
Wow.
So now reading further, the third portion accusing Jews as being a people of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person or group or even for acts committed by non-Jews.
But yeah, you shouldn't just blame a whole group of people for what one person does because they have the same DNA, ethnicity, or color.
You know, it kind of reminds me of how mass shootings have sparked a narrative of demonizing white people.
But let's get back to the definitions of anti-Semitism.
Number four, denying the fact, scope, mechanisms.
Or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of the National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II, i.e.
the Holocaust.
And I tell you what, folks, they're really serious about this one.
They're putting people in jail in many countries for simply denying the Holocaust, whether it's satirical or your opinion.
I mean, let's be honest.
If I lived in Canada or Germany, I'd probably be arrested for even showing you this picture.
And it's not that I'm denying anything at all.
I'm just showing you that the plaques at Auschwitz had to be changed in the 90s from denoting 4 million people suffered there and died all the way down to 1.5 million.
And yeah, I get it.
You're probably saying, ah, that's probably a fake image.
No, it actually happened.

Accusing the Jews as a people or Israel as a state of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust.
Okay.
Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide than to the interests of their own nations.
Oh, so like the whole dual citizen thing?
So, questioning people of maybe having a higher loyalty when they have a dual citizenship in their U.S. politics?
That's anti-Semitism.

Which, briefly, I only count 40 senators and congressmen on this list, but I'm assuming the number 89 is coming from other administration officials, so that's...

I'm not going to waste my breath on it.
But you also have all these individuals in the Obama administration who also hold U.S.-Israeli dual citizenships.
And it's not just the Obama administration with individuals who hold dual citizenship.
There are many, many others.
And I'm just scrolling down this list.
So this, you know, calling this out, questioning it, that is anti-Semitism.

It is denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination by claiming that the existence of a state of Israel is a racist endeavor.
You know, sure.
Next one, applying double standards by requiring of it a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation.
The next, using the symbols and images associated with classic anti-Semitism.
Examples, claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel to characterize Israel or Israelis.
Well, you know, I guess you can't say Jews killed Jesus.
Okay.
Next one, drawing comparisons of temporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.
This is what kind of brought us here.
The last, holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel.
I mean, I get it, but Americans at large are blamed for the corrupt practices of the rogue intelligence apparatus of America.
So, you know, it's kind of like, just deal with it.
Alright?
Let's read further.
Anti-Semitic acts are criminal, says this list, when they are so defined by law.
For example, denial of the Holocaust or distribution of anti-Semitic materials in some countries.
Like we said, Canada, Germany.
It also says criminal acts are anti-Semitic when the targets of attacks, whether they are people or property such as buildings, schools, places of worship, and cemeteries, are selected because they are or are perceived to be Jewish or linked to Jews.
In addition, anti-Semitic discrimination is the denial of two Jews of opportunities or services available to others and is illegal in many countries.
Yeah, that's discrimination.
You just can't do it anywhere that I know in the Western world.
Okay, so now that we're done learning about what anti-Semitism really is, I was trying to take a look to see if the Department of State bothered to define Islamophobia.
I've yet to find something.
I figured we'd go ahead and just do a search for racism.
I mean, that's, you know, a big thing.
I can't find anything either.
Let's take a look at anti-semitism one more time, just what pops up.

Senator Leland Yee gets five years in prison for weapons trafficking.
Now, throughout his career, he had staunchly been against weapons and had said that assault weapons should not be in the hands of anyone ever, period.
And yet, here he is in the middle of a scandal where he was caught engaging in pay-for-play, making hundreds of thousands of dollars for his campaign by Trafficking weapons in Chinatown in San Francisco.
But of course this really isn't a surprise because now we are finding that these corrupt leaders are making money on the very things they say they are against.
So one good example is former President Barack Obama.
In the Fast and Furious, they were running guns down to the drug cartels while they were allowing drugs to be trafficked up into the states so that they could make money off the top.
In other news, Democrats gave $27 million to children of illegal immigrants, but not veterans.
Their argument, because of course they were criticized for this, their argument is that there is a program that does exist for children of veterans.
Of course, this only applies to veterans who were in combat zones, so it's very limited.
And also, at the same time, that program only gives $2.7 million, just 10% of the amount.
that was allotted to illegal immigrants.
Now, they're saying that there wasn't enough money in the budget to expand the program for children of veterans to include all veterans, but if there wasn't enough money, then why on earth are children of illegal immigrants,
people who are not citizens of this country, Why are they getting $27 million as opposed to the mere $2.7 million the children of veterans are receiving for tuition?
Hugely imbalanced.
And I find their reasoning to be not sufficient.
That is not a legitimate excuse.
Because apparently there was enough money to give that amount to the children of illegal immigrants.
So at this point it's yet again another occasion where they have demonstrated their preference for illegals over the citizens of this country.
They're giving preference to non-citizens Some of these Democrat candidates for presidency are going to Mexico, pandering to Mexicans instead of visiting constituents of the United States.
There is a huge problem here.
They had the money to give it to Children of illegal immigrants, then they had the money to give it to children of veterans.
And I can think of several other things that they could have done with this money.
They could have also used this money to assist children, students who are homeless.

When I was at UCF, there was an article that they had written in the paper there where students at UCF were homeless and that they were struggling with tuition.
They were struggling with purchasing the materials that were necessary.
They were struggling to come up with the money to even eat from day to day.
Those people.
First.
Get your priorities straight.
So Pennsylvania Governor announced a sweeping executive order on gun control.
I mean, this is a huge win in and of itself.
So Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, of course a Democrat, announced Wednesday that he will sign a sweeping executive order to reduce gun violence.
And we'll unilaterally implement a series of gun control regulations in this state.
Nearly two dozen new initiatives and reforms.
Gun owners, you better move.
Take your business with you.
You know, flag theory.
Go where they treat you the best.
Go to another state.
Go to another city.
If they're corrupt, starve them out.
That's one of the beauties of the right to travel.
Not like on the old vassalage days.
You're just trapped on the dirt you were born on the rest of your life and serving the Lord with a third of everything you grew.
Or two-thirds.
Actually, I think it was less.
They paid less taxes in those days than we do now.

Speaking of gun laws, so this is coming out of Bay News 9. If you can't...
If you use medical marijuana in Florida, you can't buy a gun.
Here's why.
So they're talking about how if you purchase a gun, then you have to fill out a form, specifically ATF Form 4473.
And in that form, you have to answer a question about...
Your use of certain drugs including marijuana and that even applies to people who are using marijuana for medicinal purposes even in states where it's legal because the federal law still says that marijuana is illegal and of course at this point really the federal law supersedes the state law and this is a problem because a lot of people may not be aware of that so
If they live in a state where marijuana use, recreational or medicinal or whatever, if they use and they're honest about it, and that could be the case with people who do use medicinally.
So if they use...
Medical marijuana, then it's likely they're going to be honest about their usage.
Well, guess what?
That now disqualifies you from having a weapon because they're saying that you cannot own a weapon if you use this illicit drug.
Even though it's legal in your state, even if it's completely legal, even recreational use, medicinal use, whatever, if it's legal in the state, it's still illegal in the country.
Therefore, now a person who has admitted to using on this form and they own a weapon, they have now broken the law.
They're now in violation of that law.
So you have to be very careful about that.
And just one thing I want to say about this too is that recently we see this push for States to pass laws where they either decriminalize marijuana or they legalize it entirely, but there's this push for that.
And so this is mostly coming from the Democrat side, the same side where they are working so hard to restrict gun ownership rights.
So is this some kind of sideways backdoor attempt to restrict those rights by legalizing marijuana in these states and then people then use marijuana recreationally or medicinally openly because now it's legal then that means they have now just disqualified themselves from owning a gun.
So these are the types of things that we have to watch out for.
These small infringements on the Second Amendment.
Some people say that it's not a big deal.
Oh, it's just a background check.
Oh, it's just a restriction on bump stocks, on accessories.
But really, each of these things taken together, it's chipping away at the Second Amendment.
There is supposed to be no infringement whatsoever.
And the reason is because once you start infringing, you give these people an inch and they will take a mile.
Sure, it's bump stocks now.
It's what they call quote-unquote assault weapons now, which really, according to Ashley Moody and the language that's used in the assault weapons ban of 2019, it virtually eliminates the rights to own a long gun, period.
Very few long guns will be allowed.
So then what's next?
Chipping away.

So you have to be aware of this.
This is not something we can fall asleep on.
And we also have, just kind of switching it up a bit, Cory Booker says he will create an office to combat white supremacy if elected.
So he's actually going to create an office designed around attacking white people.
And we know what white supremacy is.
It's code word for anyone that disagrees with him.

Odin.
Many pantheons of deities, both fictional and from real-world mythologies, feature a singular god that acts as a king or leader over many other gods.
In Norse mythology, this god is Odin, the Allfather, a central figure in the mythology and lord of many of the other deities in the pantheon.
Odin was seemingly an important figure in the religions of certain Germanic peoples for centuries, and divided between all of his different aspects and representations is known by over 200 different names, focused on the various tales associated with Odin, as described by different Icelandic texts from around the 1200s.
The authenticity of these texts in regard to the actual beliefs of the North Germanic peoples is a subject for debate.
Within Norse mythology, Odin likely represents more attributes and concepts than any other deity, being associated with war, death, royalty, wisdom, knowledge, sorcery, and poetry.
At the beginning of time, there were two realms, one filled with cold mist and the other with raging flames, and a primordial void between the two.
Eventually, the two intermingling elements combined in the void.
And formed the first Jotun, Ymir, also known as a giant.
Along with Ymir, there was also a giant cow that he suckled on for nourishment, and from his sweat came more giants, the Jotunar.

He also took note of a certain Jotun that was capable of taking any shape he wished, to a far greater extent than other giants, known as Loki.
Odin liked Loki's wit and charm, and asked him to become a blood brother, to which Loki agreed.
The two swore to be true brothers to one another, and Odin brought Loki into Asgard, where he was accepted by the others.
Loki, however, developed a great reputation as a spiteful trickster, trusted by neither the gods nor the giants, but always managed to talk his way back into their good graces.
In these days, Odin would often walk among the humans in the disguise of a wise old wanderer, testing the hospitality of those he visits.
He also utilized two ravens, hoogun, Odin was a relentless pursuer of wisdom and knowledge, and would sacrifice much in these pursuits.
On one occasion, Odin went to the world tree, Yggdrasil, and hung himself from its branches for nine days before finally learning the secrets of runic letters.
These runes contained great power, and with their magic, he became the wisest and mightiest being in the cosmos.
This, however, was not enough for Odin, and he craved more knowledge.
From his throne, he spied upon the realm of the savage Jotunar, and noticed one that was very wise.
This giant controlled a well of wisdom where one of Yggdrasil's roots ended, and drank its waters every day to become ever wiser.
Odin went to this Jotun, asking for a single drink from the well.
The giant agreed, but only if Odin shared his all-seeing vision with him.
Odin promptly plucked out one of his own eyes, placing it in the well before having a drink.
From then on, he possessed only a single eye, but was truly the wisest of the wise.
As life continued on Earth, and the gods continued to battle against the Jotunar, Odin's son Baldr began to be troubled by ominous dreams that saw his life threatened.
Due to the machinations of Loki, Baldr was eventually killed, seemingly through an accident.
Although none suspected Loki of playing a part in his death, his jealousy and spite eventually got the best of him, and he admitted openly to being responsible before fleeing.
The gods demanded punishment of Loki from Odin, who used his all-seeing sight to locate him.
The Aesir captured Loki and tortured him, bringing guilt to Odin for breaking his bond of kinship with Loki.
This broken oath, among others in Asgard, led the gods to the events of Ragnarok, meaning Doom of the Gods, or Twilight of the Gods.
Rather than being an apocalyptic end of days, Ragnarok instead foretold the end of a cycle of time.
Which would be followed by a rebirth, and eventually, another Ragnarok.
For the Aesir gods, however, they knew their days were limited, Odin especially.
Yggdrasil began to wilt, and brother turned against brother in this time of imminent destruction.
Odin and the Aesir gathered as many strong and brave warriors as possible in the halls of Valhalla, and the Jotunar were growing ever bolder in their attacks.
It was a hard time in the world of men, with death and depravity rampant, an age of axe and sword, with a deadly winter and the world waiting to fall into ruin.
Finally, Ragnarok had come.
The greatest battle that history could muster took place, and although Odin led a vast host of warriors into the war, he himself was swallowed up by the dread wolf Fenrir.
In the end, the Aesir lost the battle.
And the world was plunged into darkness as Yggdrasil broke and fell.
And in time a new day dawned and the next cycle began, but people did not forget the deeds of the gods.
Of course there are a number of smaller tales related to Odin beyond just these.
Stories of his relentless pursuit of wisdom and his wanderings across the realms.
These tales showcase Odin's imperfections and similarities to mortals, his willingness to trick or deceive others, and his legendary wisdom.
Odin is the patron of many, from kings to outlaws, poets to berserkers, shamans to seers.
Odin represents those who are willing to work and sacrifice to obtain that which they desire, and welcomed only the most worthy of warriors into his hall of Valhalla.
The Norsemen were a hardy and capable people.
and it is likely that their belief in figures such as Odin pushed them to continue to pursue strength and wisdom, much like the Allfather.
