	It's hard to say what the priority should be.
	Although I assume, as Elon Musk is a close personal friend, Ferry's absolutely right about that.

	So CBC and I have gotten to know each other a fair bit over the years, and I just feel like I kind of know what turns them on at this point.
	They spent a lot of time, a significant amount of time through the convoy trying to have me killed in ways character-wise, physically wise, financially wise, you know, and said a lot of things that were not true at all and made all kinds of connections and conclusions that didn't exist.
	And I maintained that I, me, is telling the truth.
	And my detractors say, oh, and they're all lying.

	And now that that had come true, that's an earth-shattering revelation for a lot of people.
	And they can't handle that.
	So they just refuse to go.
	CBC is jealous that you have more viewers and paid subscribers than they do.
	That is a fact.
	And I promise you it is.
	CBC is refusing to release the subscriber list of how many people are paying for his.
	It's, you know, top shelf stuff, CBC Gems.
	You not heard of CBC Gems?

	CBC Gems is something you can subscribe to for what I assume is extra money.
	So grifting, our population, we already pay CBC to exist for some reason.
	And now they're charging us money to do more shit that we didn't ask for.

	She took one line of the whole interview where I said, you're not a legitimate news organization.

	Somebody thought somebody else would figure it out and somebody else would come along and somebody, don't worry.
	And now it's worthless.
	Now it's completely fucking worthless and destroyed and gone forever.
	You'll be lucky to salvage 10% of that building, 5% of that building.
	It was like an iconic part of our town and county for a long time.
	It used to be a big school.
	It used to teach Greek and Latin at this school.

	Like a lot of the kind of modern education movement in Canada came out of this area when we started building up here in Nova Scotia.

	Kind of watch their movements and patterns and try to see if you can get under or around or over or just in front of at the right moment in the right time because all the energy there is to do it because even if this craziness doesn't go through,
	the bills are trying to pass, even if it doesn't go through, which would be a better case for them, everyone would still know that they tried.
	Like a lot of smart people are paying attention now, like law professors, retired Supreme Court justices, people with connections and people with like real weight.
	And they're all very alarmed.
	They're openly saying that we would no longer have a country.
	If they pass these laws, Canada doesn't exist anymore, which I agree with.
	Now, they say the next part is just not said out loud because it doesn't need to be said out loud.
	And that's also correct.
	We all know what that means.
	That's how close we are.
	We're on the doorstep now.
	And they're banging on the door.

	So we hope that that doesn't pass and that doesn't go anywhere.

	Now, again, I do not take in the purpose of our discussion on C9 the view that this committee needs to weigh in on this, but it is a live issue that people should be able to freely debate.
	So when the state is deciding what constitutes hate, my question is, what are the implications on limiting the ability to hash out controversial subjects in society?

	And so as long as the government thinks that its role is to make sure that people are speaking reasonably, then you're totally off on the wrong track.
	People's speech is their own unless, for my money, unless they are threatening violence.
	And if you're over that threshold, you're going to get into the potential for the kinds of problems that you are alluding to.

	That's how you survive really difficult, impossible, horrible, hellish situations that you can't comprehend.

	So they, more than anyone, when it gets hard, and it will, it gets hard for everyone.
	We owe it to ourselves, our dignity, our self-respect, the memory of the people we've already lost, who we try to honor.
	And we owe it to them.
	We owe it to pass it down to them.
	Whatever we can, whatever what's left, whatever they would want us to do.
	Imagine you watching your own children or grandchildren.
	You can't say you're dead.
	You're floating around.
	All you can do is watch in horror or something.
	What would you be urging them to do?
	Be more woke?
	spend more money at the arcade like just one eternity one one decade generation after the other just worse worse worse where you would be screaming, you'd be heartbroken to see them cave, right?
	And just like anybody else, maybe today, maybe people in your life right now that are depending on you.
	Maybe you don't even know it.
	And you want to give up.
	This isn't about you.
	It's about everybody else.
	And if you're not here, then somebody else is going to carry that now.
	And I've seen this happen.
	I've seen people.
	One guy takes a walk and then the next one goes after him because Somebody that you respect, respectable.
	If they're packing it in, then what the fuck am I doing here, right?
	But in thinking about that and thinking of all the things that have been going on and everything that's happened over the years, you can't just give up on something that you believe in because what kind of message did that send to the people you love most in the world?
	Who what would you tell them if there's something they really believe in or want or need or want to fight for or do what words?
	What is you have no weight?
	You have nothing to say.
	They can't look to you.
	You gave up.
	So they will too.
	I can't live.
