They think 15% of the population is Muslim.

And they think 15% of men in the UK are gay.

What is the population seeing that's causing them to be so massively misled?
All of these groups being substantially overrepresented on television, particularly in TV commercials and in advertising generally.
While many of the lobby groups claiming to represent those minorities continually whining about a lack of representation.
It's incredible that when it comes to deciphering the corporeal reality of the world around them, people place more stock in what they're told to believe is reality via television, social media, and institutionalized culture than they do their own eyes and real-world experiences.
People delude themselves into thinking that everyone is waking up, but you just have to accept the fact that much of the general public lacks basic critical thinking skills.
And a huge chunk of them always have and always will be susceptible to regime narratives.

At the time, the official figure of Brits who had died from COVID was 155,000.

Advocates say the bar for involuntary hospitalization should be high, while psychiatrists worry fewer people will receive necessary treatment.

In Joanne's son's case, the woman who was part of this article, that didn't happen.
Her son was later involuntarily hospitalized to, quote, keep him safe, she said.
But the process seemed more complicated than it should have been.
On April 22nd, the provincial government passed Bill 120, an act amending the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act.
The bill was introduced March 31st, and some of the changes, it brought alarmed parent advocates and psychiatrists who were taken by surprise.
The new act, they say, will make it harder to use the act and could lead to fewer people receiving necessary treatment.
Sure.
That's the problem.

He agrees the intent of some of the amendments is he's worried about the language of others.
They have to do with the bar for determining whether someone should be involuntarily hospitalized because they are a threat to themselves or others, and concerns around the role of substitute decision makers who act on behalf of involuntarily hospitalized patients.
I mean, so someone can just, a doctor can just decide, you know, you need to be involuntarily hospitalized because, you know, X, Y, Z, because I've decided, I've determined that you're diagnosed with the following.
There's also something else in here.
I don't know if I skipped it, where the state can replace said doctors if they're not acting correctly.
So let's say the government wants this person involuntarily, you know, committed and the doctor goes, well, I don't know if that, I mean, maybe for something crazy, like let's say COVID denialism, maybe.
Maybe that's a mental health disorder.
How about vaccine hesitancy?
Maybe that's a mental health disorder.
Maybe it is.
Maybe some doctors, maybe they add that to the DMDA or DPM, whatever the hell it is.

How about oppositional defiance disorder?

The amendments change under the old act, a person could be hospitalized involuntarily if a physician is of the opinion that the person apparently has a mental disorder and as a result is a threat to themselves or others or is likely to suffer serious physical impairment or serious mental deterioration and will benefit from inpatient psychiatric treatment.
The amendment changes this to the physician having reasonable and probable grounds to believe instead of the opinion that the person will instead will instead of be likely to suffer impairment or significant deterioration.
It's a stronger test, they argue.
I disagree.
It definitely applies for involuntary hospitalization.

I mean, these people, as authoritarian and as crazy as they are, we're going to do this.

People involuntarily hospitalized in Nova Scotia can be held for up to 30 days.
At that point, if the medical team feels they should be held longer, they have to apply to renew the order, which I'm sure, you know, if politics surmise, it will go through.
Patients also have the right to appeal in voluntary hospitalization orders, although appeals are usually heard three weeks after the hospital admission, by which time the patients have already been released.
There was something else in this, too, that was crazy.
I held it to 30 days.
It was the shit.
I just don't want to read through the whole thing because it's quite long.

Anyway, this is what we're doing.

One year ago today, the leaders of the BC First Nation band, I will not even try to pronounce that, announced the discovery of a mass grave of more than 200 indigenous children detected at a residential school in British Columbia.
The band called discovery the missing.
What's still missing, however, according to a number of Canadian academics, is proof of the remains in the ground.
Since last year's announcement, there's been no excavations at Kamloops, nor any date set for such work to commence.
Nothing has been taken out of the ground so far, according to the spokesman for the tribe.
The alleged burial ground, which is said to include 215 bodies, some as young as three years old, was located with the help of ground-penetrating radar at the site of former Kamloops Indian Residential School, which was run by the church from 1890 to 1978.
The Roman Catholic Church number of bodies was based on irregularities in the ground ascertained by radar waves.
Kamloops was one of the network of residential schools across Canada operated by the churches from the 1880s through the end of the 20th century.
The system forcibly said, and obviously the schools are not good.
