[00:00:43]  They were confused and said that they told me they were sending $100 per kid.
[00:00:47]  I reminded them that I only have four kids.
[00:00:49]  They were silent for a moment and then just kind of laughed and said they must be getting old because they were thinking there were five.
[00:00:54]  Then tonight my daughter walked into the lounge room.
[00:00:56]  She looked around and said, I know we're all here but our family feels small.

[00:01:01]  I hadn't said anything to anyone about my feelings lately because they already think I'm ancient and forgetful at 40.

[00:01:13]  You know, I mean, I love Catholics, but it's true that if you just, with enough kids, it's, yeah, give or take one that's just, like, doesn't really make that much of a difference, I guess.
[00:01:22]  Now, in the comments section, the majority of users agree that OP must have had a fifth child who glitched out at some point, and his memory was reset to ensure he didn't panic at the loss of a child.
[00:01:34]  All except for one user who lamented that he could not upvote the post, as he didn't want to disturb the fact that it was at 420 upvotes.

[00:01:51]  The idea that a fifth child could just like windows blue screen of death.
[00:01:56]  There are amazing stories.
[00:01:57]  There's some like kind of more intense, I can't remember exactly what I included, but one common theme that's really interesting is that there are a lot of stories about people experience death, essentially remember like getting killed, but then they kind of like glitch into like a new reality where they survived somehow.

[00:03:49]  The translator looked shocked and said, You speak Mandarin?
[00:03:52]  I had no idea what to say.
[00:03:54]  I was just as confused and shocked as he was.
[00:03:57]  I made up an excuse and said, I assumed that's what he said.
[00:04:01]  To hide how mind blown I was, but no, I completely heard and understood him.
[00:04:06]  I don't think he believed me either because he was giving me that look still.
[00:04:10]  It still freaks me out to this day.
[00:04:12]  This is more of like an example of group consciousness than like a simulation.
[00:04:16]  I don't know that this points to a simulation.
[00:04:19]  Yeah, it sounds like this is like he got he sort of got the vibe of what he was saying, even if he didn't understand the words like he was.
[00:04:26]  This is, you know, people communicate more than just their words, you know, intonation, body language, they just.
[00:04:32]  They received that message and interpreted it as actually understanding Mandarin.

[00:04:41]  The top comment is, I heard a story where someone was in a coma for a few months and came out speaking fluent German with no prior knowledge of the German language.
[00:04:50]  His ancestors were German, however.
[00:04:52]  That man was Hitler and he was in a hospital due to mustard gas.
[00:04:58]  I feel like I want to say that this has happened to me before.
[00:05:01]  I can't recall a specific moment, but while I was reading it, I had this weird sense of deja vu, and the whole story felt familiar and personal to me.
[00:05:08]  Maybe researching the ideas of a simulation construct actually helps you to begin to decode it.
