[00:00:34] I have gay friends who have children who say that is the first choice. [00:00:41] I'll be open. [00:00:42] Dave Rubin is an example. [00:00:44] Dave Rubin and his wonderful partner, spouse, David. [00:00:50] These are wonderful human beings. [00:00:53] They do have kids. [00:00:54] They used a surrogate. [00:00:56] There's another issue which I won't get into now. [00:01:02] He said to me, and I said, can I quote you? [00:01:05] He said, absolutely. [00:01:05] He said, Dennis, the ideal is a mother and father, and he's two fathers. [00:01:12] He is much closer to my value system than heterosexuals who differ with me. [00:01:27] We're married. [00:01:29] A man or a woman married to the opposite sex and have children who don't say that that's the ideal, they are my problem. [00:01:37] Not the gays who have children or who have adopted. [00:01:41] My problem is we can't deny the ideal. [00:01:45] The ideal is a mother and father. [00:01:48] So let's say there is an adoption agency with a child and let's say the child has physical problems. [00:01:58] And there's no married mom, dad, or married man and woman who want to adopt that child, or at least the agency can't find one. [00:02:09] What is my choice? [00:02:11] My choice is what? [00:02:14] An orphanage? [00:02:15] I don't even know if we have orphanages today. [00:02:18] But go from foster home to foster home? [00:02:22] Or to have, let's say, a woman like this woman adopt the child?
