Time Text
So again, the Russians are open to beginning peace negotiations with the US immediately to end the ongoing war in Ukraine.
This according to the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
She said, quote, we are ready to discuss the initiative set out there in future contacts with the U.S. Such contacts are already possible as early as today.
The Kremlin spokeswoman, spokesman, excuse me, Dmitry Peskov also said, U.S. negotiators were traveling to Russia today, Thursday, and that discussions were planned.
Quote, negotiators are indeed flying, Peskov says, and contacts are indeed planned.
He goes on to say, we won't get ahead of ourselves.
We'll talk about it afterward.
So we already know that Ukraine has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire proposal from the U.S. They're actually pulling out in some regions already.
So now it's a game of wait and see what happens with Putin.
But obviously this is a good sign.
And I still think, listen, sanctions have to be slapped on Vladimir Putin.
You're going to have to make sure that Vladimir Putin doesn't, that it's lasting, that it's sustaining.
And frankly, you know, I don't mind that.
I think that's the smart play.
But one of the ways in which, listen, we're going to hurt Putin already just based upon our energy.
If we can convince our neighbors, actually Putin and China, Xi Jinping as well, convince our neighbors to make sure that they're working with us, get Canada, get Mexico and play, guys, we're the West.
We got to stand up to these guys.
Know your worth.
In a sense, I feel like that's what Trump is doing.
He's the big brother in a sense.
Guys, know your worth.
I got to teach you some lessons, but know your worth.
There's some real enemies out there, and it isn't us.
So how about some fair trade?
Let's get in line.
I think it's about more than just fair trade, frankly.
But then if we could get the EU to start buying fuel from us, rather than, and we're already seeing gas prices come down a little bit, slightly.
Passed by a gas station yesterday.
I know it doesn't seem like much, but I saw 294. I saw 294 and my neck about broke.
I was like, what?
Say what?
That's crazy.
Guys, when Trump left office, I was filling up for $1.86 a gallon.
Unlet it.
I mean, just insane.
Insane.
And I saw that and I was like, oh, feeling better.
Feeling better already.
It's crazy.
It's crazy what we're experiencing.
But again, listen, Putin hopefully will come to the table.
This will be beneficial for all of our Western allies.
The UK can come to us for fuel.
And then China can continue to rip off Russia for fuel because they'll have nowhere else to go.
Ultimately, that's what we want to see happen.
So all of this stuff is not for naught.
Even though it seems like chaos, I do believe the Trump administration has a plan.
Hold tight.
