Donald Trump proved himself more than worthy of my vote tonight for a man who was hunted, framed, falsely accused, spied on, impeached twice, indicted four times, convicted of a felony, almost assassinated twice.
He stared down the Democrats and gave maybe the best speech of his entire political career.
I will take a pause there.
Guys, listen.
That speech was one of the best speeches that I've seen.
I'm not just saying that because I'm a conservative.
I'm not saying that because I'm a Trump supporter.
I'm saying that because it was a good speech.
But the Democrats helped to make it an exceptional speech.
What we witnessed last night was a complete and utter breakdown, a complete debacle, a complete miscalculation, just like we saw with Zelensky and the Oval Office last week.
A complete and utter mis...
You had a few people walk out.
I won't even dare to mention their names.
You had Representative Al Green, completely worthless.
Big perm part two.
Just stand up and wave his cane at the president of the United States before he got kicked out.
It's as if all they could think to do was try to create the Democrat Party.
That is, is to try and create a social media moment.
But they failed and they failed miserably.
But understand why.
It wasn't just their reaction to Trump's speech.
You have a president and Donald Trump.
That was willing to take the fight to them, even in the chamber.
This is a man on a mission, and it's completely obvious.
Trump called them out on...
Some of you might think, oh man, this guy was petty.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Honestly, that speech was filled with substance.
You had the victims of the families, Lake and Riley's family, Jocelyn Nongere's mom.
Sitting in the audience, you have the young kid, was it CJ, with brain cancer, that had survived brain cancer, wanted to be a police officer, and then Trump gave him an honorary, he became an honorary Secret Service agent, and you looked over, you had the family of Corey Compatori sitting up in the audience, and then you look at the Democrat Party, and they are literally trying their best not to clap at anything, even, and you know why?
You know why they couldn't?
Because deep down inside, I believe that many of them wanted to clap.
But if they were to clap, if they were to clap, it would have been an indictment on their party.
It would have been an indictment on their policies.
Things as small as the egg prices.
Democrats have been blaming Trump for the egg prices before and after, quite frankly, the State of the Union.
But we'll call it the address to the Congress because it was the first speech.
