Dennis Prager Show - NCAA Caves to the Trans Agenda! Aired: 2024-12-20 Duration: 01:56 === Locker Room Controversy (01:56) === [00:00:00] This is Charlie Baker, the president of MCAA. I just want to close out my point on the culture, or at least one of my points on the culture. [00:00:09] Go ahead and roll it, por favor. [00:00:11] I have guidelines that instruct them what the best practices are, and your guidelines say that biological men can go in and use the women's locker rooms if they want to. [00:00:20] What the women want has nothing to do with it. [00:00:22] They're not mentioned in here at all, correct? [00:00:26] Correct. [00:00:26] It's right here. [00:00:27] You just reaffirmed them in May of this year. [00:00:28] I've got them. [00:00:29] I'm reading them. [00:00:29] I've got them off your website. [00:00:31] I believe our guidelines give people... [00:00:33] Optionality with respect to how they choose to use their facilities. [00:00:38] What does that mean, optionality? [00:00:40] What it says is transgender student athletes will be able to use the locker room shower and toilet in accordance with their gender identity. [00:00:47] That means men will be able to use the women's locker rooms. [00:00:50] And as Riley Gaines and others have testified before this committee, that means if a man, a biological man, wants to use their locker room, they just have to accept it. [00:01:00] Or else the women have to go somewhere else. [00:01:02] They've got to go find an alternative. [00:01:04] Why is that fair? [00:01:05] We told the local folks who've hosted our tournaments they need to create accommodations for the people who are playing. [00:01:10] You know, so it's the feds on the one hand, it's the locals on the other hand. [00:01:13] The only person who doesn't seem to bear any responsibility in this is you and the NCAA, who are the governing body. [00:01:20] And your testimony here today is you're not even subject to Title IX. Mr. Baker, I can't tell you how disappointed this makes me, but not just disappointed, frankly, infuriated for the student-athletes who are suffering because of your policies, and you won't even defend them. [00:01:33] You won't even take responsibility. [00:01:35] It's outrageous. [00:01:36] It's totally outrageous. [00:01:39] Okay, so you have this story, and I don't believe in trans people, but that guy really, the NCAA president, really makes me wonder. [00:01:47] He really needs to grow up. [00:01:49] He needs a backbone. [00:01:50] There's no doubt about it. [00:01:52] I know he's making great money. [00:01:53] I know there's immense pressure, but men need to be men.
