Dennis Prager Show - Moral Conflict Surrounds UnitedHealthCare CEO Murder Suspect Aired: 2024-12-11 Duration: 02:31 === Why Some Cover The Greater Good (02:13) === [00:00:00] What we're seeing with this murderer, this assassin of the UnitedHealthcare CEO, and the fawning coverage that I have to admit I was convicted on. [00:00:11] Because I've been mentioning this guy's name. [00:00:13] I'm going to try not to do it. [00:00:15] And sometimes the argument is, listen, you don't want copycats, right? [00:00:20] So don't mention these people's names. [00:00:22] I mean, that's... [00:00:23] That's pretty much the consensus in talk radio circles. [00:00:27] And sometimes I agree with that. [00:00:29] Sometimes I don't agree with that, depending on the circumstance. [00:00:32] But overall, in general, it makes good sense, right? [00:00:35] Because you don't want copycats. [00:00:37] But I just kind of found myself getting so interested in the story. [00:00:40] And I had to sit back yesterday and I was just thinking, man, this story is so intriguing. [00:00:47] There's a lot of conspiracy theories. [00:00:49] There's a lot of questions to be asked. [00:00:53] What we see or what that story exemplifies, frankly, is how crazy and dangerous the left is. [00:01:01] I mean... [00:01:02] They're humanizing this guy, fawning over this guy, good-looking young man. [00:01:07] There's women online talking about how great he looks and, oh man, how did he get himself in this situation to be arrested? [00:01:18] One lady said on TikTok, I believe, I never kind of bought into or believed in, and I'm paraphrasing here, these women that date men in jail, but basically, this guy looks so good. [00:01:32] I may have to check my own thoughts. [00:01:34] That's the type of coverage that's out there with this guy. [00:01:36] Not to mention, literally last night, I was driving my brother home, and then I turned on to some talk radio. [00:01:46] I turned it right on. [00:01:47] It happened to be Hannity at the time, part of a rerun of his show earlier, and I just listened to some callers calling in. [00:01:53] He was shocked. [00:01:54] I was shocked. [00:01:55] I mean, these people were offering every excuse possible, it seemed like, for what this murderer had done to this CEO. And they were doing it because they were justifying it in a sense because they felt like he served the greater good. === I Couldn't Believe What I Was Hearing (00:33) === [00:02:10] He did the greater thing, if you will. [00:02:14] He was morally superior over the healthcare, the United Healthcare CEO. There was a just cause. [00:02:24] I mean, it was insane. [00:02:26] I couldn't believe what I was hearing. [00:02:29] But then again, I could.
