[00:00:00]  Well, Dennis and Julie were reunited last night.
[00:00:03]  I went to the hospital where Dennis is, and I had a pretty lengthy visit with him.
[00:00:10]  I was there for eight hours because I've missed him.
[00:00:14]  I've missed him so much.
[00:00:15]  And even as the music was just coming on now, I feel a heaviness in my heart because he's my best friend, he's my co-worker, he's my co-host.
[00:00:29]  For the past two weeks, I haven't seen him.
[00:00:32]  I haven't talked to him.
[00:00:33]  I haven't listened to him.
[00:00:35]  And I miss him so much.
[00:00:37]  And it's, you know, yesterday in the hospital, the nurse walked in and asked me for my name and asked me who I was.
[00:00:43]  And it was funny because Dennis and I kind of both looked at each other like, how would we describe me?
[00:00:48]  It felt not quite right to say a friend.
[00:00:52]  Obviously, I'm not blood family or, you know, and co-host feels a little weird.
[00:00:57]  Maybe I should say protege.
[00:00:58]  I don't know.
[00:00:59]  But I was able to spend some time with him yesterday in the hospital.
[00:01:03]  As I had mentioned.
[00:01:04]  And I want to tell you the information that we have.
[00:01:07]  And I know that so many of you are asking for and hoping for information.
[00:01:11]  And I know that both of us can very much relate to that sentiment.
[00:01:16]  Because all we all want is information.
[00:01:18]  But this is a very, very slow climb.
[00:01:21]  He suffered a very, very serious back injury.
[00:01:24]  And this is just going to be weeks, months, honestly, for him to recuperate.
[00:01:31]  And for his body to heal.
[00:01:33]  And so if we're not telling you information, it's not because we're withholding it.
[00:01:37]  We don't have information.
[00:01:38]  But what I will say is that Dennis is 100% mentally there.
[00:01:47]  100%.
[00:01:48]  He even said it to me.
[00:01:50]  You know?
[00:01:51]  And with his limited ability to communicate, he mouths words.
[00:01:56]  He is 100% there.
[00:01:57]  And I had conversations with him.
[00:01:59]  And he was keeping up with everything.
[00:02:01]  And let me tell you, over those hours that I spent with him in the hospital, the thing that I saw that meant the most to him, that gave him a glimmer of light and hope in his eyes, was when I read messages from you.

[00:02:13]  I went on Dennis and Julie shows and I read the comments.
[00:02:17]  I read the emails and my email address and I joked with him.
[00:02:20]  I said, Dennis, what's my email address?
[00:02:23]  What's Instagram and Twitter?
[00:02:25]  And he rolled his eyes and smiled.
[00:02:26]  But I read aloud to him some of the things that you wrote and he would mouth.
[00:02:34]  Or someone wrote in and said that basically Dennis is the reason why she has her kids and husband.
[00:02:40]  She kicked off her old habits and took her life seriously because of Dennis.
[00:02:44]  And it's so cute.
[00:02:46]  Dennis looks at me and he goes...
[00:02:49]  Really?
[00:02:50]  And he's so touched.
[00:02:51]  So please do continue writing in.
[00:02:54]  Your thoughts and your prayers mean so much.
[00:02:55]  And especially if you would care to write in about the specific ways that Dennis has influenced you.
[00:03:00]  Because right now, and he is someone who knows all too well the importance of happiness and remaining optimistic.
[00:03:07]  He needs that.
[00:03:09]  He needs to remember how many people he's influenced.
[00:03:12]  How many people, God willing, he can continue to influence.
[00:03:15]  And so your messages give him a will.
